  Seamless, stress-free planning

  I cannot think Spell Events and Kelsey Miller enough for playing such a huge role in our perfect day. I hired Spell Events for the 8-week out planning service, and it was the best decision. I had a long engagement so I was able to do a lot of the planning on the front end myself, but Kelsey was such a lifesaver throughout the entire process. Even before she was technically supposed to be helping me, she was always very responsive and provided the best resources and guidance throughout the entire process. My husband and I took the bar exam a month before our big day, and for those that don't know, that's when things start to get really hectic! Kelsey was just incredible. She took all of that stress completely off my plate, and I was able to worry about studying for and taking the bar. I trusted her with all of the final detail craziness, and the trust was so well placed.
  
  On the day of our wedding, everything went so perfectly. And come to find out, we had a family member who surprised us with a fireworks show during our wedding. Kelsey was in on the surprise and made sure all of the other vendors were aware as well, and it all fit perfectly into our day.
  
  With Spell Events, you're getting high quality service and a group that is VERY highly regarded in the wedding planning world! Forever thankful for Kelsey and her role in our perfect day.

  Kelsey is the best!!

  I don't even know where to start; first things first... thank you so much to Kelsey for being the best wedding planner out there! She is the most sweet and most caring person I have ever met. She was so patient and so organized from the very beginning and through every step of the way leading up to our wedding day! She made sure we stayed within our budget but still met all of our expectations on our wedding day. The day of the wedding she did a phenomenal job being on top of EVERYTHING and EVERYONE! Our officiant ended up not being able to show up hours before our wedding and Kelsey did an excellent job finding a replacement fast and made sure not to freak me out about the whole situation as I was getting ready. Throughout the night she kept us right on schedule with our timeline; made sure we ate, made sure we took every photo we had requested and made we had fun! If you are looking for a wedding planner, look no further! The whole Spell Events team is wonderful and I guarantee you that they will do more than surpass your expectations for your big day!!

  Spell Events worked with my best pal and beautiful bride, Shelby, to create a gorgeous wedding weekend that went off without a hitch! As a bridesmaid, prior to the event, Corley sent out a detailed itinerary that gave me just a small preview of the hard work and seamless coordination that her and her team had put into making this wedding perfect!! It was an absolute blast and I wish I could relive the weekend all over again :)

  Corley Spell was exactly what we needed to make our daughter's wedding everything we dreamed of. We had already booked the McGovern Centennial Gardens as our venue when I hired Corley and her team. I quickly realized I needed more of her help to pull together all of the details. Her creativity along with her husband Ben's carpentry skills made the head table absolutely beautiful. She always had the best recommendations and was able to make sure nothing was overlooked. Her assistants were so helpful to me to make sure everything was right where it needed to be. I highly recommend Spell Events and loved every minute working with them.

  I highly recommend Corley Spell to anyone looking for a really capable, thoughtful, and detail-oriented events planner. Last spring, we chose her to be our wedding planner and I feel very lucky to have found her. She is easy to communicate with and she made sure everything was taken care of each step of the way. Both her and her husband, Ben (who is also a kick-ass officiant), make an effort to connect with you on a personal level. By the time our wedding happened they felt like good friends. Corley has a really calming presence and at times legitimately felt like a fairy godmother that magically got things done. A few weeks before we got married Harvey flooded our venue and we had the daunting task of finding a new place at the very last minute. Corley is the reason I did not turn into a crazy person during this insanity. She immediately helped me make connections with available venues and somehow we actually ended up finding a place that was even better than before! It was an incredible day that I will look back on fondly for the rest of my life. Thank you again for helping make that day possible, Corley!

  Spell Events planned and coordinated our wedding on 5/20/17 and I don't even know where to begin with all of the praise I have for them. From the first time Corley and I communicated, I knew we were going to work well together. Her calm, positive, kind demeanor stayed consistent throughout our entire wedding planning process, and I never once doubted the dedication Spell Events had for our wedding.
  Starting with 1) communication, Corley promptly responded to all of the floods of texts and emails I sent her on a daily/weekly basis, not because she had to, but because she genuinely wanted to. Whether it was a panicked text at 8am or a quick question email at 11pm, she was always there with an educated and heartfelt answer or piece of advice. Second is 2) vendor recommendation. Corley connected us with the absolute best vendors in Houston, and I say that with complete confidence because not a single thing went wrong with our vendors throughout the wedding planning or on the wedding day itself. She knew exactly where to lead us when it came to vendors, and this is HUGE when it comes to planning a wedding in a large city like Houston. Third is 3) organization and planning. Corley provided us with a detailed timeline from the first time we met, and never let us skip a beat after that. From scheduling meetings with vendors, sending itineraries to our wedding party the week of the wedding, to making sure we knew exactly what was going on at all time, and everything in between - her organization and planning skills are unprecedented and this was made clear the entire time we worked together. Forth is 4) the wedding day. Not a single thing went wrong on our wedding day, and that is something almost NOBODY can say! Had it not been for Corley, Victoria, and Ben, this would not have been the case. Everything moved like a well-oiled machine and I am still receiving compliments from guests about how perfect everything was.

We had multiple events the weekend of our daughter's wedding and they all were a 100% hit. They truly gave it their all!   Corley and Ben. Go ahead and book them! You will not regret it. They are fun, creative, goofy, hardworking, servant-hearted and just a beautiful couple and team duo. I did not think our wedding day was ever capable of turning out into what it did. It was truly the most beautiful event that I have ever seen. Everything went so smoothly. We were able to fully focus on what was most important that day because all logistics were fully taken care of. We loved that we were able to share our day with Corley and Ben. We love that when we think back to our wedding day and look back on pictures they are tied with the photos because of their work. They are truly the best of the best! We love them!

  Corley and Ben are the absolute greatest! They have so much creativity and style; they pay attention to the smallest details. They worked tirelessly the weekend of my daughter's wedding and it was truly incredible to watch them bring the vision I had shared with them to life. They have true servant's hearts and were so much fun to work with. I had complete confidence and trust in them and their level and quality of work is truly exceptional. I can highly suggest and recommend Spell Events, they took a whole bunch of stress off of this mother of the bride and made it so much easier for me to relax and enjoy my daughter's special day.

  Corley was amazing to work with, and she had experience beyond her years (and definitely mine)! She was on top of everything I asked her about and got back to me immediately regarding my questions and requests. She calmed me when I got anxious. I would use her again and again!

  Planning a wedding is one of the happiest times in your life but it's also full of constant stressors. There are so many unexpected problems that can arise. It was such a relief knowing we had Corley there to help us every step of the way. One thing that we didn't have to worry about was who would officiate our wedding because after meeting Ben -- Corley's husband -- we knew that he was exactly what we were looking for. By the end of the wedding, Ben and Corley felt more like friends or family who we had known for years. In fact, the last picture from our wedding in the photo booth is of the four of us. Any bride and groom would be lucky to have this pair help plan their special day.

  Low stress wedding planning

  We worked with Kelsey Miller at Spell Events. She did a good job providing us with vendor options and helping us finalize our day-of-wedding timeline with the venue and other vendors so everything would run smoothly. The day of, she was worth her weight in gold in helping coordinate everything and things ran seamlessly. I felt much more confident knowing that Kelsey had everything under control so I could just let things happen and enjoy our big day!!
