  Jason and the Urban Pie team provided the catering for our wedding this past weekend and we couldn't be happier. The food was our number one priority for the wedding, so when we learned that our venue would not let outside caterers use their kitchen, I was very worried. But I am so glad that we found Urban Pie because they were able to bring everything that they needed with them to a serve high end restaurant quality meal. Jason was so helpful in putting together the menu and they did a great job accommodating our guests gluten and dairy allergies (not an easy feat when you are serving pizza and pasta!) The next day the guests kept telling me how delicious the food was and it was the best they have ever had at a wedding.
  
  I can't wait to find them at their next public event so that I can eat some more of their amazing food!

  We were lucky enough to experience Urban Pie at a corporate event a few years ago and as soon as we started to plan our wedding we knew we wanted Urban Pie to cater it. Jason's team was fabulous every step of the way, handling all details for us from rentals to bar and even helped secure the best venue. It's been over a year and people are still talking about the amazing food. Since than a few friends have used Jason for their events and all rave about the food and service. That wood fired oven was a show stopper that everyone loved but the passed appetizers and the pasta were also out of this world. When the Nitro Ice Cream Station was unveiled later in the evening it almost stopped the dancing it created such excitement! My favourite guest comment was , " Thank god no rubber chicken for dinner " that says it all:)

  This company is honest the best you can get to cater your wedding or any event for that matter. Very unique and delicious pizza cooked in a WOOD BURNING OVEN! You really don't see this anymore. They make a ton more but the pizzas are definitely my favorite. Prices are great and they are very professional when it comes to all aspects. Food is absolutely delicious and you will never forget the flavors inside of each bite. Recommended for everyone!

  Sooo good! We ordered the catering for our wedding of over 200 people. They arrived early, set up and were very friendly. Not to mention the food is delicious! I'm definitely recommending Woodfried Pizza to my friends!

  They're seriously the best! I loved that they come to your own place or event and set up right there! Their pizza is delicious the Brussel sprouts and bacon is my absolute favorite! I loved everything thank you guys!!

  Holy cow they are the best! We used Urban Pie for our wedding last October and our family and friends are still raving.
  
  Because our venue had no kitchen on site, traditional catering was going to cost us an arm and a leg. I went back to the drawing board and found Urban Pie on a wedding blog. Because Urban Pie has a mobile oven, there is no need for them to set up a full kitchen, so we ended up paying about a quarter of what we would have had we went with traditional catering. Plus, Jason (the owner) is very willing to work with you to figure out the best options for your budget, and really stretches your dollar. And he is so much fun to figure out menu details with because he is passionate about food and knows his stuff.
  
  Oh man, the food they produce is so delicious. The pizzas are obvious winners, with delicious combos like bacon/brussels sprouts, kale/sausage, etc etc. They have a large menu and Jason is also a pro at seeking out what is at farmers markets and cooking seasonally. But the pizza isn't even the best part! We had beautiful cheese and charcuterie platters for cocktail hour and 4 different kinds of bruschetta...4! The bruschetta was my favorite with flavor combos like beets/goat cheese, padron peppers/ricotta, sausage/chickpea, etc.. We also had a handmade gnocchi station with 2 options for sauce...a veal ragu and a gorgonzola sauce. Yuuuuum...people are still talking about the pasta. And lastly we also had delicious family style salads at all the tables with in-season farmers market produce.
  
  Urban Pie also has an amazing sound dessert selection (which they cook all in the wood fired oven). We had already booked my friend to do our wedding cake, so we were unable to do this, but I wanted it so bad!
  
  Working with Jason and the Urban Pie staff was such a pleasure. They ensured my wedding day was absolutely magical (and made us look really cool among our family and friends). I would highly recommend Urban Pie for one of your events.

  I highly recommend Jason & his crew from Urban Pie for your wedding! We wanted something fresh, gourmet and truly unique (to fit my and my husband's personalities!) and Urban Pie was exactly what we were looking for. Jason was super professional and fun, every step of the way and the food on our wedding day was AMAZING. If you appreciate locally sourced fare and wood-fired pizza, then Urban Pie is a no-brainer for your wedding day.

  From our first meeting, it was clear that Jason was driven most by providing high quality, delicious food to his customers. We planned our wedding remotely from Seattle, and when it came time to pick our caterer, Chef Jason accommodated our tight schedule and gave us a sampling that after a whole day of being completely saturated with delicious LA eateries still BLEW US AWAY.
  
  We had a buffet line set up for the wedding, and they were constantly replenishing items such that the wait for food was relatively quick, without sacrificing the quality of the food. This was a big concern with us because we knew that with a food-truck type caterer, the complaint is usually the long service time for food.
  
  In addition, we utilized their front-out house services, and they staffed us with a bartender, and several servers. While this was initially a little difficult to coordinate, especially because they seemed very busy prior to our wedding, they recently hired an event coordinator, Ryan, that saved the day on that end. He was very responsive, answered all of our questions timely and thoroughly, and on the day of really made sure everything ran smoothly. While we did have a few minor details that fell through the cracks (two things: beverage service as a little bit confusing as we didn't have sweet tea that we purchased ourselves available at every table, and that from the long list of things we had requested help with, cake cutting wasn't provided because we weren't aware of a cake cutting fee), they were minor in comparison to the long list of tasks we had actually given them.
  
  Overall, the minor snafus in communication leading up to the wedding didn't deter us from recommending their services, as they provided what was most important to us: a stellar meal that impressed not only us but all of our guests.

  they do more than just pizza. they can cover the appetizers, salads, horderves, and dessert

  Working with Urban Pie ended up being the most stressful part of our wedding, unfortunately. In the final weeks leading up to the wedding, we decided to have urban pie provide a bartender to serve drinks that we would provide. I wanted to speak to the barstaff to coordinate the drinks that we would bring, and let them know what we were mixing. Apparently this is a no-no (never heard of this) - disappointed with bar staff to say the least. So day of, even with early arrival we had to postpone dinner by 20 minutes! Then we could only release one table (8-10 people) every 10 minutes and after the event they blamed the DJ - huh? After they dismissed my concerns and told me they do this all the time they can make everything for my guests - total fail. I had been at another wedding with wood fired pizza and it went smoothly with two table releases every minutes or so. Then to make it worse they ran out of food and some of the food was not cooked all the way (my good friend is a chef and told people to not eat the meatballs). Then Jason accused us of not knowing what a cooked meatball was! Think everyone understands pink and pork are bad! I have left the same review on Yelp due to Jasons poor communication, poor performance, dangerous cooking and his attitude I can not recommend him to anyone.
