Jim did a great job communicating and helping us through the planning process

Jim did a great job communicating and helping us through the planning process and helped us feel cared for day-of. Jim has a very user friendly website and client portal system. I was able to book for the event very easily from California. Jim kept the details organized on the website portal and it made the pre-wedding meeting go very smoothly. I appreciated his friendly demeanor over email, phone and in person. He was very upbeat and did all he could to make sure we had a terrific time/experience. He was even able to make a last minute change and do a earlier end time than originally planned. Also very easy to plan and understand our music choices.

I thought he did a great job MC'ing and was gracious for our family's music requests throughout the night. We provided a music file for our first dance and he was able to receive and play it for our first dance with no issues. Jim was receptive when I asked him to turn down the volume so guests could hear each other talking.

I would have liked to hear more alternative rock and classic rock ballads than so much pop music.

The lighting and set up were all very professional and polished to match the elegance of the rustic cabin ballroom venue. He has a nice screen that goes in front of his DJ set up that looks very sleek and clean. He did a great job handling the conga line.

Lifesavers!

We were in a panic! We listen to a stranger recommended DJ on Facebook and it was a major mistake. They made us pay in advance since it was a great price. But then a month later disappeared and we couldn't get a hold of them for six months! Finally, we panicked and gave up and our venue recommended we contact Sparty DJs. It was last minute so Jim himself was our DJ and we were blown away with the service and how happy he made our guests.

So glad we hired them!

We are so glad that we hired Sparty Djs. They did a wonderful job for us. We almost made a huge mistake and hired a company that also does photography and everything. We saw that company at another wedding a few months ago and the bride said everything about them was bad.

Sparty DJs was wonderful to work with for our wedding! They are organized, professional, and so much fun to work with. Their website and planning forms are easy to use and helped us keep track of our timeline, special songs, and song requests.

Amazing DJs Highly Recommend

Jim was amazing! He played songs that everyone knew and kept everyone out dancing. He kept things moving and time flew by. They were incredible. The photo booth was an awesome touch. We have all the pictures of the guests that came so that we can cherish those for years to come!

DJ Gary was outstanding!

First of all, Jim was incredible! He emailed us friendly reminders and was very responsive when we had any questions! DJ Gary was outstanding! He was easily the easiest vendor I worked with and when we had last minute changes or additions he rolled with it so easily and kept the dance floor moving! Everyone said how much fun they had and we had the best time!

Must have dj!

They are a must to have. Photobooth was a success and DJ was amazing. Making sure people enjoyed the music and have them in the dance floor. Friends and family had a great time and the flexibility to request songs. It was great.

Amazing Company!!!

DJ Aaron did an amazing job of playing songs that kept everyone up and dancing and enjoying the party! Could not have asked for a better experience!! I would highly recommend Sparty DJs for your wedding!!! Combining the DJ and photo booth was a great cost saver!

Fantastic!

Jim was a fantastic DJ. He played modern and cold school music, he mixed them perfectly. Both young and old raved about how talented and well-versed the DJ was. He was also extremely personable and funny, I highly recommend Jim Hargrove!

The Very Best!

We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! Thank You Gary kept the party going and absolutely crushed it. Aaron exceeded my expectations and helped make our day become the most amazing time imaginable. He really listened to our music tastes and executed everything perfectly. Can't recommend them more. Both throughout and after our ceremony, guests went out of their way to tell us specifically how much they loved our DJ. Will did an amazing job before our reception to help cultivate a vibe that would both reflect our tastes in music AND ensure our guests had an amazing time. It was easy to upload our favorite songs to the client portal, and a relief to trust him and his team with the rest.

Better than we could have ever imagined!

Our DJ experience at our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined! When we first spoke to Jim, we knew that we wanted him to be our DJ, and we could not have made a better choice. We got compliments on our wedding constantly during the reception and in the days after, and every single time someone mentioned how amazing our DJ was. Jim went way above and beyond to make our day exactly what we wanted it to be. Not only did he play the perfect music throughout the whole event, he made sure my husband and I had everything we needed. He even offered us a last minute "last dance" just the two of us as everyone was starting to leave and the reception came to an end. We would pick Jim and Sparty over and over again if we had the choice!

Jim from Sparty was absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding! He customized our playlist to a T. We told him our vibe and he ran with it. During our reception dinner, tons of our guests walked up to us and asked if we made the playlist (it was all Jim!) Everyone was saying how awesome the music was and that only continued into the night. We were lucky to have amazing weather that Jim had to compete against. While many gathered outside, he was able to keep the dance floor bouncing. Can’t recommend him and his company enough.

Great experience with Sparty DJs

Aaron was a fantastic DJ. He took over DJ'ing very late due to an unexpected turn of events, but quickly got all the details. He was very personable and worked with our venue for setup, which eased some of the burden on us. We had several special requests, such as a guitar setup and a playlist of foreign music. Despite that, everything went without a hitch. He accommodated random asks from our family members and pronounced difficult names perfectly. Aaron even sent us some candids from the event. Thanks Aaron and Jim from Sparty DJs for a great event!

DJ Andy was soooo amazing.

DJ Andy was soooo amazing. We heard him at another wedding in 2022 and immediately knew we wanted to use him. He is so great and kept the night fun. He did our ceremony and reception. Andy is for sure the best! We also used the photobooth with Sparty DJs and it was great.

Sparty DJs was a preferred vendor

Sparty DJs was a preferred vendor for one venue but we still got the choice of company and Sparty DJs and it was the best and easiest! This company helps plans, reminds, and makes the process seem less. Jim cut songs to help us walk in at certain points, stayed true to our dos and don't on playlist and really read our crowd! He played all genres per our request and months later we continue to get great compliments on his performance! Fun, professional, thoughtful, caring, detailed, and the list could go on and on! They won’t disappoint!

Jim Hargrove is the DJ you want at your wedding. I assure you. I was blown away by how talented, professional, and helpful he is. My wedding reception was a blast!! Time flew by, every guest was having so much fun! I really think DJ's can make or break an event. Jim is very experienced and knows exactly what he is doing. He will make sure every guest is up and dancing and having a great time. He puts so much care and effort into your big day. About a month before the wedding I met with him for over an hour and we went through the whole reception talking about what songs I wanted, what I didn't want, what fun traditions he needed to include, etc. He completely exceeded my expectations on the day of. By the end of it all, it felt like he was a part of the family! He is so funny, but not in a corny way. During the reception a couple of my engaged friends from out of town were asking me if he traveled because they wanted him to be their DJ! He is wonderful and made my reception flow perfectly. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Aaron was the DJ at my wedding and he did a fantastic job! He made sure to schedule appointments at my convenience and even called me the weekend before to make sure everything would be perfect (which it was!). He was funny, laid back and a very great DJ! David is the DJ you want at your wedding. I assure you he will make sure every guest is up and dancing and having a great time. I was blown away by how talented, professional, and helpful he is. Reception spectacular!

Sparty DJs and Jim Hargrove made our Reception SPECTACULAR!!! It was so fun... and the uplighting transformed the venue! Jim worked with us to get our ceremony music cut and put together! He helped us do some fun and special/unique things like a starting lineup for the wedding party announcement... A bouquet giveaway... and requests for the guests. And his collection of music for the reception was perfect! I would definitely recommend them for your wedding!

HIRE JIM!!!! He was a pleasure to work with from day one! He did an incredible job paying attention to all the details to make sure our day ran smoothly. Zach was our DJ/MC for our wedding and he was great. He kept everyone out on the dance floor, and he seemed to nail everyone's favorites without us giving much in terms of guidelines. Awesome DJS!!!!

Sparty DJs truly made our wedding reception unforgettable! Not only did they provide beautiful lights that added a magical ambiance to the venue, but they also had a super fun photo booth that kept our guests entertained throughout the night. One of the highlights was how responsive and accommodating the team was, making sure our vision was executed flawlessly. Additionally, the setup of the photo booth was seamless, and our guests had a fantastic time capturing memories.

While there were a few minor aspects that were neutral, such as some songs not being played as requested, overall, the team's energy and enthusiasm kept the party going strong. We appreciated their flexibility and ability to adapt to last-minute changes, ensuring that the dance floor was never empty.

In terms of negative aspects, there were instances where the transitions between songs felt a bit abrupt, impacting the flow of the music at times. However, these moments were quickly rectified, and the overall atmosphere remained lively and enjoyable.

We had Aaron as our DJ for our wedding and could not have been happier. The playlist was AMAZING and guests could not stop commenting on how much they loved the music. He was always very reassuring during planning

My husband and I hired Jim Hargrove of Sparty for our wedding, and he was fabulous! He was very professional, detail oriented, and friendly. We did not have a planner, and Jim helped guide the evening along with announcements and by keeping us informed of time. Jim was very personable with our guests and kept the dance floor busy at all times! My family and friends even commented on the fact that dancing was continuous! I stayed on the dance floor the entire night :) We had many meetings with Jim, and he was very timely with emails. He was always very reassuring during the planning process (which can be very stressful) and reminded my husband and I that the day was all about us…our vision. Walking down the aisle and dancing were my favorite wedding moments, and, without Jim, neither of those would have been possible (he played our ceremony music as well).

Such a magical time

We had our wedding on Sunday, and it was such a magical time. We had Blake as our DJ, and we loved working with him to prepare for our special day. He is super sweet, and I could tell he was very passionate to make our wedding day fun for everyone. We hired Sparty DJs for our wedding and he brought the house down! He was a great host of the reception and the dance floor was packed the entire time, we didn't want the night to end! I've been to several weddings that had Sparty DJ's and every one of them were great. Justin was our DJ and did an awesome job. My guests were on the dance floor alllll night! The music kept people dancing for most of the night! There was tons of communication which helped us feel secure that one of the most important parts of a ceremony and reception was in good hands.
Not only were there amazing hits, but my family is super greek. If anyone knows anything about greek weddings, it's that the music and dancing is VERY important. Jim was exactly what we wanted. You could tell immediately how experienced he was, and his knowledge and confidence put us at ease right away. Jim was amazing!

Jim was amazing from the get go! We knew we had nothing to worry about once we hired him. He sent several reminders throughout the last couple of weeks, which was so helpful! The last call we had with him was great, he assured us the order of events, and gave great suggestions. He was super flexible as we were last minute on some music, and didn’t even hesitate to make it happen! The energy was amazing throughout the night, and we had so many people compliment how great he was! 10000/10000 recommend Jim! You won’t be disappointed!

So easy to work with

Jim was an incredible DJ! He kept the party going and our dance floor was never empty. Sparty was so easy to work with and very affordable! I would recommend to anyone!

Details and Planning Made the Day

We chose Sparty DJs because of their prompt, professional and detail-oriented service during our intro call. I could tell right away this was a vendor we wanted for our day. Our DJ David did a fantastic job at our recent wedding ceremony and reception! He had excellent energy and had our crowd's musical tastes nailed down. Once we opened the dance floor there was never a time that it was not packed. We gave him free reign to use a lot of music of his choosing, which was nice and very well selected. We were extremely pleased with David overall, as well as the professional service and support from Sparty DJs. We would highly recommend!

Jim is Awesome

Jim exceeded my expectations and helped make our day become the most amazing time imaginable. He really listened to our music tastes and executed everything perfectly. I would give Sparty and Jim 100 stars if I could. They responded to every inquiry I made right away, which made the wedding planning less stressful.Thank you for bringing everyone to the dance floor and for a day we will never forget!

Fantastic!

Sparty DJs did a fantastic job for my daughter's wedding. I am so glad we used them. Justin, our DJ was the best! He kept the guests dancing, was easy to work with and even helped my husband piece together the mash up of songs for the father/daughter dance. The guests were raving about what a great DJ Justin was. To me, there is only one choice for your wedding and that is Dow Oaks! You will not be disappointed. I am sure all of their DJ's are awesome but Justin was hands down the best DJ I have ever heard.

The DJ was awesome

The DJ was awesome to work with and accommodating. Justin was awesome and he kept the details of the night on target, made necessary announcements for us to be where we needed to be and kept the dance floor hoping! BEST. NIGHT. EVER.

Highly recommend working with Gary! He goes above and beyond for his clients and is very responsive. He took time on his family vacation to return emails and calls and even created a remix for my first dance with my dad. We loved working with Gary and he was a huge hit for our December wedding.

I loved working with Jim

My husband and I loved working with Jim from Sparty DJ Company. He met with us the week before our wedding to review all the final details, which reassured us that the event would flow smoothly, which it did! Jim even played a song again for me (even though it was almost time for us to leave the venue), as I was absent for one of my favorites. Could not have been happier

We could not have been happier with the services from Gary for our Wedding!! 10 out of 10 would recommend working with Gary for your event. From start to finish, Frank was responsive, friendly, and truly listened to what we wanted to make our special day so perfect. We absolutely loved all the music choice he made. Beyond amazing

Jim was BEYOND amazing. We had him for the ceremony and the reception. He was so easy to work with and such an awesome person. The ceremony went so smooth and the reception--oh my gosh. The dance floor was packed all the way to the last song. My legs were sore from dancing so much! He seriously did an incredible job and our wedding wouldn't have been nearly as perfect without Jim. HIGHLY recommend!!
