I ABSOLUTELY recommend The Pressroom for anyone who is looking for a wedding venue or a place for your next event.
Not only is the venue STUNNINGLY beautiful (I still can’t believe how amazing all of my photos turned out), but the service is absolutely impeccable. So many of our guests came up at the end of the night and complimented how great the servers and bartenders were and how great of time they all had.
The entire planning process from the initial meeting to coordinating with all the vendors was so easy and seamless. Being from out of town, I appreciate that they handled everything so I could just show up and enjoy the day.
I was most impressed with our day of coordinator, who was an absolute game changer! The day flowed so smoothly, despite an emergency situation with one of my family members. She handled the situation professionally and with compassion. She also did an amazing job of adjusting the timeline and getting the day back on track. I truly don’t believe our day would have been such a success if not for her and The Pressroom staff. They gave me the fairy tale wedding of my dreams and I truly could not speak more highly of this venue and team! 20/10 recommend!! -

We absolutely fell in love with the Press Room! The food and drinks were phenomenal, the dj had us on the floor dancing the entire night! All of the staff were so amazing, and they really brought our dream wedding to life! All of our friends and family have said such amazing things about the Press Room, and that it’s the most fun they’ve ever had at a wedding! -

We had wonderful experience planning our wedding with the Spaces in the City team. We loved the "All Inclusive" concept. As a couple planning a wedding from a different city, I truly don't know how our wedding would have been possible without The Press Room. The team worked tirelessly to make our dreams come true and keeping us as stress free as possible. The venue, drinks, food, atmosphere, etc. all felt so elevated, while staying in a reasonable price point. I would recommend this venue to all my friends. -

10/10 for Spaces in the City!
We cannot recommend the Press Room and the Spaces in the City Team strongly enough! From day one, Demi and Hensley were extremely responsive, thorough, and professional. They have an excellent wedding preparation program that walks you through every step efficiently, yet allows you to pay plenty of attention to the small and unique details that make your day as special as possible. Our day-of team included Emma and Carly as the main contacts. They executed every detail from our planning process and handled any situation that arose quickly and in a way that allowed us to fully enjoy the day with each other, our friends, and our families. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the space was, how delicious the food was, and how tasty the specialty cocktails were!
We had the BEST day and know that everyone on the Spaces in the City Team was a big part of making that happen! -

If you're looking for a wonderful venue for your event, look no further. This is it. I toured so many venues in knoxville and this one far surpassed the rest. the staff goes above and beyond to make your wedding vision come true. I had a big wedding, about 250 guests and the space accommodated it so well. Outside of the physical space, the team here at The Press Room is incredible. Each meeting we had to plan the event was very professional and they said yes to every request I had (which was also unlike every other place we looked at). Demi specifically was the most incredible key to the success of my wedding. It was magical and the team involved in making it happen deserve all the five star reviews possible. You will not be disappointed if you choose to go with The Press Room. They make dreams come true. -

We absolutely loved every minute of our wedding. The Press Room is a beautiful venue and having everything in house makes it so easy, but what made it perfect was Avery and the rest of her staff. They were so professional and took care of everything for us so that us and our families could just enjoy the day! -

What an amazing experience! I cannot put in to words the magnitude of my gratitude for Spaces in the City. Avery the coordinator there is an undeniable genius. From the very beginning, Avery made my feel special, welcomed, understood, and celebrated. Spaces in the City worked hosted both our rehearsal dinner (at The Square Room) and the wedding/reception (The Press Room). Both venues are lovely, and both were the perfect atmosphere for each event. I loved how they took care of all the set up and tear down, the food was delicious, and each staff member was incredibly helpful. -

The Press Room was incredible. All inclusive is the way to go. They took care of EVERYTHING and they really have an eye for decor and the food was delicious. Avery and her team think of everything so you don't have to. She set up the tables exactly how we asked, coordinated with the other vendors and was there throughout the night of the reception to keep things on track. You can tell Avery loves what she does and she's very good at it. The night was perfect and I can't recommend this venue enough. -

The Perfect Day at The Press Room
My husband and I celebrated our daughter's wedding recently at The Press Room. It was absolutely amazing. Avery and her staff go above and beyond to accommodate every need we had. They were wonderful. The Bride's room was spacious and comfortable. We opted for the mimosa bar and also had finger sandwiches that were delicious. The reception looked beautiful and there was plenty of room for everyone to dance, eat and mingle. We had three buffet stations and the food was very good. Having a wedding reception at The Press Room makes wedding planning easy. Their packages include food, bar, flowers, linens, music and other options. No need to shop around for vendors. The day went exactly as planned, even better. -

We had our reception at the Press Room and it was absolutely perfect. It is beautiful (the lights!) & in a great location, and the best part for us was how it included almost everything. Although I am from Knoxville originally, neither my husband or I lived there during the wedding planning process so it was so helpful. Everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding and so we could just enjoy ourselves with our family and friends. -

My husband and I just celebrated our daughter’s wedding at the Pressroom in Knoxville. Avery Austin and Savannah Schultz did an incredible job. Right from the start they were right on top of everything. They offer a few different packages which covers everything you need for a beautiful wedding. The building is gorgeous with its historic architecture and unique lighting. Once it’s decorated with florals and linens, it becomes magical. The appetizers, dinner and adult beverages were amazing. They were so easy to work with and went above and beyond to meet all our needs. All of our guests loved everything and all had a wonderful time. On the day of the wedding, Avery and Savannah stayed on top of every small detail and waited on us as if we were royalty. It was absolutely perfect! -

I held my ceremony and reception at The Press Room on Feb 23, 2019. They manage everything, top to bottom. Between the food, bridal suite, general aesthetic, flexible staff, and everything else in between, I truly have nothing but positive feedback. It was just awesome. I worked most closely with Avery, who was able to manage a rowdy crew seamlessly. I would recommend this venue 100 times over. -

Everything about the wedding was GREAT other than a few items I would warn on:
1. There is no changing area for the men. They had to change in the bathroom.
2. The DJ was not the best. Very nice guy, but played explicit music when I asked for all music to be clean.
3. There are surprise fees that pop up - but when I talked to the team about my issues with this they were very understanding and helpful to fix it. Just be aware of that.
4. Lastly, you cannot have Pampas Grass or anything messing - wasn't a deal breaker for me, but I was disappointed that I couldn't have the Pampas.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience and so did the guests. The food and drinks were great, the venue is beautiful, the staff is amazing, and I loved not having to do much planning. -

My (now) husband live in San Francisco but wanted to get married in Knoxville, where we met. The Press Room was the perfect venue for us. The aesthetics of the Press Room were just what we wanted - industrial and modern. The Press Room team went above and beyond, doing zoom meetings with us when we couldn't be there in person, and being flexible when we had to reschedule due to the pandemic. The Press Room team works with the best vendors - our flowers and linens were gorgeous and our DJ was so fun. They were also super helpful in accommodating us when our head count ended up being smaller than expected. We had the best day! -
