Amazing planner!

If you wanna get married on the beach Valarie is the go to lady! She met all of my expectations and even carried my son who refused to walk down the aisle! We are forever grateful for her and Bill! Thank you!

Wonderful wedding planner

Valarie did such a wonderful job planning our wedding. We are from Illinois and knew we wanted to be married in SPI. I gave her the colors I wanted, a few pics from the internet and she worked her magic! The day of the wedding, it was POURING. Things were flooding, it was horrible. Being a nervous bride, I was messaging her all morning. She very promptly replied and she had a back up plan for us. Luckily, everything worked out as planned and we had the outdoor wedding we dreamed of. We couldn’t have done it without her!

Stress free dream wedding come true!

We live 8 hours away and the dream wedding our daughter and son in law had of being Married on the beach was able to come true thanks to Valarie, her expertise, and her team. As a mother of the bride, it took some faith to have every detail tended to and not be able to be there to do it myself. Valarie totally knocked it out of the park. Everyone on her team was Not just professional, but personal as well. The whole ceremony was well organized and timely; flowers were gorgeous;cake was delicious as well as beautiful; photographer was efficient and took beautiful pictures; the DJ was attentive to our requests and fun! We chose South Padre Brewery for their reception up on the deck and they were also fantastic and personal. Our family of about 50 made some memories and had an awesome family vacation as we celebrated the marriage of our children. Definitely recommend Valarie and her expertise 💞

Great experience/stress free

Valerie handled all of our needs with our sole communication prior to the wedding being through email. She set up the minister, decorations, pictures, etc. She for patiently with us for whatever we wanted.

June Wedding

Valarie did a wonderful job coordinating our wedding ceremony. She and Bill were so accommodating when coastal rains threatened to cancel our sunrise wedding on the beach in SPI. We all watched the weather forecast and when it cleared, we proceeded from our condo to the beach and the ceremony began. It drizzled a fine mist for about the first half hour, but she took a lot of pictures before the ceremony and we have many terrific memories shared that will last a lifetime. I am so glad we chose Valarie! We selected non-professional portraits and were blown away with the quantity, quality and variety of the selection. Sunrise wedding

Couldn't Have Asked for a Better Wedding Planner!

I was so nervous about planning a destination wedding since I live across the country in VA. Valerie made the whole ceremony planning a breeze. She told me what she needed, I answered her questions, and everything came together perfectly. The rehearsal was conducted clearly and we all understood what we had to do which helped (some) with our nervousness. I am grateful to have had her help!

Dream come true

Extremely satisfied with service. My wedding Day was made easy to know everything was taken care of by the wedding vendor. I came from Michigan to have the wedding in Texas. The entire experience was worth it. I’m thankful that we were in contact the entire time until the end of the wedding. I highly recommend this wedding planner.

After changing the location of our 5-15-15 wedding several times I only ended up having two months to plan our wedding. I wanted to have my dream beach wedding but I felt that it would be impossible because we only had two months. I did my research on Wedding Wire and spoke to several wedding planners and let me say it was the worst experience ever! I spoke to four before finding Valerie. The first one you had to book a year in advance, the second one never returned my calls after leaving four voice mails, third wedding planer was supposed to call me back with a price but never did, the last one I spoke to was very rude and unhelpful with the questions I had. Luckily I found Valerie and everything changed she answered all my question over and over again :), she was very sweet, took my calls and texts at all times of the day (AM and PM). She did everything I asked from her, she answered all my concerns and kept sending me pictures of things that I asked for. I kept changing my mind up to the day of my wedding and she allowed me to do last minutes changes that saved us money (which all the wedding planners I spoke to wouldn’t let you change anything 6 weeks before the wedding) which is unheard of. Also another thing I loved about Valerie is that she let me have my own photographer ( last minute) which again all the other wedding planners wouldn’t allow that because they would be losing money. Valerie’s husband did our vows and he was AMAZING it felt like he knew us from our childhood. I have been to several wedding and all the pastors/judges are boring and to the point but not him he took his time and told us some great words of wisdom. She is an amazing wedding planner, you will not stress one single bit because she has everything ready for you, she even had four back up plans due to the 80% chance of rain (once again if you get a different wedding planner you will have to do your own arrangements if it were to rain on the day of your wedding). Thanks for the book!

We were planning our beach wedding all the way from Michigan and Valarie made me feel very at ease with the whole process! Once we got to the island, everything happened smoothly even though we had a few hickups arise! She was wonderful and her husband who married us was equally as outstanding! My wedding was better than I had planned! I wish I could do it again every year! :)

We had a small wedding on the beach and although it was quaint, the set-up was perfect. The only thing that could have been better was when our cake was delivered to our hotel we had no idea. (Not sure if there was a miscommunication on who was suppose to inform us or what happen.) We just had a small BBQ for the reception so it wasn't a big deal. The set-up and ceremony were perfect though. She made everything simple and all we had to do was show up on time :).

Valerie was really great to work with. She was very helpful especially since we did not know anything about south padre island. We did not feel like we had to worry about much of anything because she handled it all. We would highly recommend her services to anyone.

As a wedding planner myself, I knew the importance of having a wedding planner to ensure the success of my event. The first thing I needed was to have someone I trusted who was local and could ensure that what I wanted would happen. Valarie was my life saver during the planning of my wedding. She listened to my wants, identified my needs, and assisted with suggestions that added so much to the overall look and feel of my wedding. She was prompt with email communication and very helpful with all aspects of the planning. She put me at ease - as it was a destination wedding and I did not have the luxury of being able to travel to South Padre to do many of the things a local bride could do. Valorie and her husband are amazing. She bent over backwards to change the location of our wedding 24 hours before I walked down the isle. The value of what we receive was beyond compare. My husband and I renewed our wedding vows for our 10th anniversary on beautiful South Padre Island with our 2 sons by our side. Valerie's unique eye & natural ability to "know" exactly when, where & how to capture moments made it all the more special. We had a sunrise ceremony, 2 VERY tired children, I did my own hair & makeup and we stood by the ocean in 98° & 100% humidity...our pictures show nothing but the joy & love we were all feeling. She's a gem!

Absolutely the best choice I have ever made!!! I traveled far and had over 100 guests travel. She helped with everything I requested. I met with several other planners on the island and was told a lot of the things I wanted couldn't be done. She never told me no and helped me with all of my wishes. She even helped me stay within my tight budget!!!! The weather was up/down throughout the days leading to the wedding. She moved location due to weather so I still had a beach wedding!!! I can go I and on but she is the BEST and makes the process easy!!!!

Valerie helped my husband and I plan our wedding from Ohio. We had never been to South Padre Island but loved what we saw online. She expertly found the things I wanted and coordinated everything. I told her what I envisioned my wedding being and she made it happen. It was absolutely perfect down to the orchid she bought for my hair. I even changed my mind at the last minute about the music and she found a piano player in less than hours and he was great. I only gave her 4 1/2 stars for professionalism because while she was very professional about the business part of planning my wedding, I felt more like I was working with a good friend when we talked on the phone. I was really lucky coming across Valerie's info online. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't change a thing!

I was a little nervous about letting someone that I had never met plan a wedding for me. We lived 5 1/2 hours away from South Padre,I worked full time, had a 2 year old so it was a little hard for me to be on the phone, so I communicated with Valerie mostly by email. She was very friendly and always quick to get back to me. Anyhow, she set up my hair and makeup appointment for me which I was very happy with the place! The officiant was also great-all of our guests kept asking where we found him because they really liked him. My pictures, cake and flowers were perfect! I am so happy that we chose Valerie.
