Sophie is the most beautiful, warm and talented hair and make up artist. My partner and I eloped from Melbourne Australia to NYC to get married and Sophie graced us with her presance on our special day. She did both myself and my sister’s hair and make up and did it to an exceptional level. She understood exactly the look we were going for and both my sister and my hair stayed that way through the wintery windy New York streets to town hall, during the hours of photos and into the evening. Pure perfection. But the thing I want to call out the most is her beautiful warm presance on the day, how she chatted to us and brought amazing positivity and energy. Sophie creates beautiful hair and is equally a beautiful person. Thanks for making our special day in wintery New York so warm 💚💚💚 -

I had the pleasure of having Sophie as my wedding day hair stylist, and she absolutely exceeded all expectations. Professional from start to finish, she listened intently to what I wanted, and she has the sweetest and most calming energy. I have naturally curly hair and she was able to mimic my curls (but enhanced to perfection), so that I still felt like myself on my wedding day. I highly recommend Sophie for brides or anyone looking for a great hair styling experience!! She is also great energy to have around in those stressful wedding day moments -

Cannot recommend Sophie enough as a wedding hair and makeup artist! From the initial phone call, she had such a refreshing approach to wedding hair & makeup, and I truly appreciated her transparent pricing (especially since so many vendors make finding pricing so complicated!). I wanted a natural but elevated look for my wedding day hair & makeup and had loved the example photos/videos I had seen on Instagram. I was not disappointed! Sophie had excellent communication throughout the planning process, with an easy-to-use portal and helpful questionnaires about wedding day timeline and trial preferences that helped me organize my thoughts. She did a phenomenal job of making adjustments after the trial and truly took my feedback into account, making the look match my vision even more for the actual wedding day. Both the hair & makeup held up wonderfully throughout multiple hours of rain/humidity, photos, and dancing. Mariana and Carol also did such an incredible job with the hair/makeup for my bridesmaids – everyone was so happy with their looks! Highly recommend Sophie and am very happy with my decision! -

I can’t say enough amazing things about Sophie. From start to finish, she was the definition of professionalism - prompt, organised, and completely on top of everything, which made the whole experience feel effortless and stress-free.
Beyond that, Sophie is such a warm and welcoming person. She immediately made me feel comfortable, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients. She really took the time to listen and understand exactly the look I wanted, and she absolutely nailed it. I never felt rushed, and she was so open to any tweaks or changes along the way, making sure everything was perfect.
Her attention to detail is incredible, especially when it came to prepping my skin. My makeup and hair went on flawlessly and lasted all day (and night!) without a single issue. I truly felt beautiful - honestly, one of the most confident and radiant I’ve ever felt.
If you’re looking for someone who is not only talented but also kind, attentive, and truly dedicated to making you feel your best, Sophie is it. I couldn’t recommend her more. -

Sophie is THE BEST! I was nervous about having too much makeup and not feeling like myself on my wedding day, but she is the master of maintaining your natural look, but elevating so you feel even more beautiful. She took time and care to listen and tweak to exactly what I was looking for and the hair and makeup both stayed perfectly all night long! She is a master of her craft and was so far above and beyond my expectations. She was also the best energy to have around me on my wedding morning and I was so grateful to have her there and by my side right until the moment before I walked down the aisle. -

Sophie is the absolute best!!! Book her immediately.
Sophie did my hair and makeup on both my wedding day and wedding party the following night. I had very different visions for both days, and she absolutely nailed them both.
I truly felt like the most beautiful version of myself; her ability to highlight my natural features while still executing the vision I hoped for was incredible.
Hair and makeup skills aside, Sophie is also the most calm, genuine, and kind hearted soul. She made me feel so relaxed on my wedding day and I feel like we became friends by the end of the weekend.
I would recommend her to quite literally anyone and I can't wait to find another excuse to get my hair and makeup done by Sophie again -

I cannot recommend Sophie enough. I was not worried at all about acne on my wedding day when I first booked Sophie, and had let her know I had a pretty clear complexion. Well...stress of wedding planning + using a product that irritated my skin resulted in one of the worst break outs of my life. My confidence was destroyed right before the wedding. I let Sophie know and she put me at ease that it would not be an issue. Doing a trial was so helpful because I was able to figure out what products irritated my skin before the big day. When I saw my makeup the morning of my wedding, I was truly amazed. My skin looked INCREDIBLE. I went from being extremely self-conscious and worried about photos to feeling like the most beautiful version of myself and not worried about a thing. I went into my photos confidently and didn't have to worry about my makeup or skin once!! Also, I have naturally grey hair, which can be kind of unruly, but Sophie made my hair look incredible. Even after sweating on the dance floor for hours, my hair still looked great.
I had looked for a hair & makeup artist for so long, really worried that I would never find someone who would be able to make me feel like ME the day of my wedding. I don't love heavy makeup, and I wanted a hairstyle I haven't really seen anyone do before...but Sophie worked with me and kept everything looking so natural and just so me! I really just felt like the best version of myself.
Book Sophie. Just do it. You will NOT regret it! -

Sophie and her team were an absolute dream come true for a bride! From the beginning stages, to the trial, to my wedding day, Sophie made sure the process with smooth and enjoyable. Aliya and Maria were the team members assigned to my wedding day. Aliya listened carefully to my vision - natural, myself but elevated bridal makeup and a half up/half down loose curled hairstyle. She made my vision come to life! She made sure that I was happy and confident with every detail of my look. Sophie and her team were all very professional, responsive, calming and kind. Myself, my mom and my bridesmaids all felt SO beautiful and most importantly like ourselves on wedding day! I cannot recommend Sophie and her team enough! Truly a 10/10 experience from start to finish! -

Sophie was an amazing makeup artist. Since I usually don’t wear much makeup, I was feeling nervous and unsure about the style, but she gently guided me through everything and made me feel comfortable. The makeup looked beautiful, yet still very much like me, which gave me so much confidence on the big day. I can't recommend Sophie enough! From the moment we connected, her calm and grounded energy instantly put me at ease. Her attention to detail is unmatched—not only in her makeup artistry, but in every step of the process. Her style is exactly what I was hoping for: classic, elevated, and simple. It never felt like too much makeup—just the best, most confident version of myself for one of the biggest days of my life.
She’s incredibly thorough and professional, making the experience feel seamless from start to finish. She kept me in the loop about everything—checking in to make sure we scheduled a trial, having a portal for payments, and confirming all the small details in advance. She will also be extremely accessible and responsive, which makes the planning process feel so much less stressful.
I felt so supported and taken care of leading up to the big day. Working with her was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Thank you, Sophie! -

Sophie was my HMUA for our elopement in NYC and working with her was incredibly smooth. She is very professional, right on time (even early), very calming and cheerful. She asked for inspirational photos prior to our appointment and got confirmations along the way as she was working. Conversations with her and receiving compliments from her on the very beginning of the day, absolutely made my day start beautifully and made me secure. My hair is very thin and does not hold curls at all, but her work stayed despite of 5 hours of open air photoshoot on a winter day in New York (even despite the wind at Top of the Rock). She gifted me a Rhode lipbalm making me very happy too.🩷🩷🩷 I would absolutely wish to work with her again if I ever find myself needing a HMUA in USA🤍 -

Civil Ceremony Makeup
I used Sophie for my Civil Ceremony makeup in February 2025. She was wonderful to work with and I was beyond pleased with the final look. I opted to not have a trial, but shared a few photos and ideas with Sophie. She followed my vision to a tee. She was lovely to chat with and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process - stopping throughout for me to look at the makeup and talking through some of the techniques she used. I loved the final look, albeit had I not she assured me we could make edits. I would highly recommend Sophie for any wedding / wedding related event or occasion makeup. I did not use her hair services but hope to in the future! -
