Flawless Coordination: The Key to Our Perfect Day
If we went back in time and planned our wedding again, the first thing we’d do is book Jennifer from StR Events to plan our wedding. She helped us with our June 2024 wedding as the day-of coordinator but she was so amazing that we *wish* we had had her plan the whole thing. Jennifer is incredibly organized, friendly, and professional. She provided invaluable input on all the last-minute questions from vendors that helped our wedding day go smoothly. She handled all the surprises that came up during the wedding and allowed us to fully enjoy the day we had spent two years planning. I cannot emphasize this enough: she was incredible and directly responsible for us having the best day possible while surrounded by our guests and loved ones.-

Would hire again a thousand times over
We love Darcy!! This was worth every cent. I didn’t have to worry about anything the month before the wedding. Darcy helped us think about all the things we didn’t consider in our planning and make sure our bases were covered for rain. She had a magical Mary poppins bag full of things I didn’t even know we might need that day (that we DID need): shout wipes, tissues, safety pins, fashion tape, umbrellas. I’m pretty sure if you needed some wedding vows, CBD gummies, an electrolyte pack, or an emergency cell phone charger, she probably had it in there too.
Aisle planner was another perk of using StR events. I was able to make my reception & ceremony plan A & plan B layouts for Darcy to see where everything from the vendors would go for setup. Definitely take advantage of this tool, it tracks your to-dos, budgets, vendors, layouts, & rsvps.
She gave us 110% and didn’t break a sweat when one of our vendors showed up 3 hours late to set up. She is so professional, she has insight from many past brides experiences & makes you feel like your wedding is the only one she is working this year. I’m recommending her to all my single friends. Best wedding budget money you will spend hands down.-

Wow, they are a dream!
Darcy at StR Events was an ABSOLUTE DREAM to work with! Our new wedding venue hosted a styled shoot, and after our first conversation, Darcy just hit the ground running. I literally didn't have to lift a finger- she did ALL the work and made our venue look amazing! Her attention to detail, friendly personality, and flawless style were exactly what we needed to bring everything together seamlessly. Thank you StR Events, Jennifer, and Darcy! As a retired wedding photographer and 10 years in the industry, I've worked with a LOT of planners. StR Events is hands down the best in the business! -

The Best! Made all my wedding dreams come true!
Michelle with StR Events made all my wedding dreams come true. I don't even know where to start about how happy I was to work with Michelle for my wedding. Michelle was nothing but professional, friendly, and organized during my wedding planning process. I repeatedly tell EVERYONE I know who is getting married that SHE was the best money I ever spent. She took my pinterest board inspo photos and helped me verbalize my dream to vendors to make sure my vision was known. She communicated our timeline to make my wedding day run flawlessly. She helped me save money along the way negotiating with vendors on my behalf to make sure every detail I wanted fit in my budget. She took over all the tedious tasks the months before the wedding so that my only role was to make sure I enjoyed myself, and I did! Not only would I highly recommend Michelle, but my mom, my husband and everyone who got to attend my magical wedding made sure to let me know that they would recommend her, as well! She is just the best at what she does and you would be missing out not to hire her and StR Events for your big day!-

Hire STR Events to be your wedding planner!
My husband and I got married on 07/21/2019, and we did a fusion wedding with Reform Jewish and South Indian ceremonies. I grew up in a small town in Ohio that had almost no Jews, and my husband 's family is Veerashaiva (my husband is from CT, his parents are from Bangalore, India), so we had minimal knowledge of even our own traditions going into the planning process. Jennifer (STR Events) was one of two wedding planners in the state of Ohio who noted having experience with Jewish and South Indian weddings, and we were hooked on working with her from our first consultation call. She has the perfect demeanor for this work, with a fierce work ethic balanced by a soft touch, sense of humor, and genuine care for her clients needs/desires. She was honest with us when our ideas would be complicated or outside of our budget, and extremely helpful with providing affordable solutions ranging from vendor recommendations to purchasing cute items for our "Kids Korner" table that she spotted while out at a Dollar Store and texting us. The original package we purchased with her was primarily for taking over 3 months from the wedding and doing day of support, but about 4 months ahead of the wedding we were behind on our planning and when I reached out to Jennifer to see if she could offer further support, and she immediately responded and got to work right away. She found a Chuppah/Mandap ceremony structure (complete with setup, decoration, and all included in the price) for well under our budget, a florist that nailed exactly what we wanted (from table arrangements to garlands), and designed that layouts and stage covering for all of our events (among many other things she helped with). Jennifer also came to all of our Planning Meetings in Mt. Vernon (about an hour away from her offices in Columbus) and never made us feel rushed even when the meetings ran long or another vendor was late. All of our vendors loved working with her, and she was a hit with both of our families, too. She always asked what our vision was for every element of the wedding, and when we had no clue she offered helpful options and suggestions. The day of the wedding she was managing essentially a small army of staff (her two assistants, 6 staff at our venue [a public park], 5 lunchtime caterers, 4 dinner caterers, 5 bartenders, 3 hairstylists, 3 makeup artists, 3 photographers, 2 DJs, 2 Officiants, linen/ceremony structure/table/stage covering rental and setup, dessert delivery, 2 Dhol players, and more), which she handled with ease and grace. We had a swelteringly hot and humid day in July for an outdoor wedding, and Jennifer was prepared with ice cold gatorade and more ready to go for us and our wedding party. At the end of the night it was like magic how everything we brought into the venue wound up back in secure storage at the venue in order for us to pick up the next morning, and Jennifer checked with us about any/everything leftover we had or last minute decisions to make. She also handed all vendor coordination, payments, tip, and so on, which allowed us to truly be present and focus on our big day and the people we love. Lastly, I will forever be indebted to her for--when we were at our most exhausted in the heat and humidity, and people had already begun to disperse--she pushed us to still do a series of family and friends photos after our second ceremony, reasoning that we would regret not doing it later. Absolutely Amazing
Jennifer with Str Events was the best thing we ever decided to get for our wedding. She was extremely professional, readily available for questions and recommendations, and worked closely with us to plan our wedding with respect for our budget and desires. The most wonderful thing was Jennifer’s day of participation in the wedding ceremony and reception. She had everything lined up and structured so well that we didn’t have to worry or stress about a single thing and were able to enjoy every moment of the day. Without question we would hire Jennifer again and would most definitely recommend her to anyone seeking help with their event planning. -

Absolute Perfection!
Where do I even start? Our wedding could not have been more perfect thanks to Jennifer & StR events. Jennifer managed to incorporate every detail I envisioned into a beautiful and cohesive night. She took the stress and worry out of every step of the process from coordinating vendors to logistics and timing of the day-of events. She is extremely organized and no detail was overlooked. Thanks to Jennifer I was able to completely relax the day of the wedding and be present in the moment. I couldn't imagine the day without Jennifer and couldn't be happier. We worked with Michelle planning a "destination" wedding in Hocking Hills, OH. Both of our families live in Ohio, but we live out of state so Michelle's help was so desperately needed! She was able to recommend excellent vendors, and even though she is based in Columbus, she was able to meet us down in Hocking Hills twice before the actual wedding for planning and then the rehearsal. When the actual day came, while my husband and I were getting ready, she and her assistant organized everything from incoming vendors to decorations to the wedding parties themselves. Can't recommend her enough. -

Hiring StR Events was the BEST decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. From my first phone call with Jennifer I could tell she is very detail-oriented and organized, and I trusted her completely. Jennifer helped us come up with a wedding vision, which was incredibly helpful and made the ceremony and reception so beautiful. Whenever we had questions, we received very quick responses. The weekend of our wedding, I did not worry at all about the logistics of the day. Jennifer and her team were a pleasure to be with on the wedding day and were so helpful. Jennifer even helped ensure we were well fed and had water/drinks when we wanted them, since we were frequently talking with our guests. I 1000% recommend StR Events!! Thank you for everything <3 -

Working with STR and Jennifer has been a really great experience! When my fiancé and I started wedding planning, we thought we could do it all ourselves, but we quickly learned that if we wanted our wedding vision to come to life, we needed some extra help.
Jennifer started working with us about 8 months before our wedding. She took our crazy ideas and our many planning documents and turned them into easy to follow spreadsheets and realistic timelines. We were sold at our first meeting, and we knew that she understood our vision and respected our decisions. Jennifer acted as a true professional along the way- giving expert opinions, offering support and guidance throughout the whole process.
Every detail was thought out, and she didn't waste our time with unnecessary emails. Jennifer was very efficient, and she always followed up in a timely manner. We knew we were in good hands with Jennifer and that she would deliver excellent results!
In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Jennifer followed up with all of our vendors, and she kept us updated on any changes or notes that we needed to be aware of. She made herself available to us, and we appreciated the fact that her assistance made it possible for us to enjoy this special time with our family and friends.
One of the reasons we wanted to work with Something to Remember is that we wanted our wedding to reflect 'us' but we also wanted everything to run smoothly, and for us not to have to worry about every single detail on our wedding day. Jennifer made this possible for us!

After our first phone conversation I just had a good feeling about her, and then after meeting her my now-husband was sold. She’s just an amazing person with a good heart and the right intentions. She loves weddings. We were nervous about finding the right fit. We were planning a wedding from 2 different states on the east coast (my husband and I were doing distance), and my parents live in Dayton. So we were looking for someone who could accommodate to FaceTime meetings and many emails. I couldn’t imagine an easier person to work with. She’s very accommodating to any schedule. She worked with us for just over a year on the full-service plan and she made our lives (and our families lives) so much easier as we planned our 300+ Indian & Western fusion wedding. She was honest about what was and wasn’t possible, what she and her team were capable of, and worked to find solutions to any problem we encountered. My parents were late adopters to having a wedding planner, but in the end they were so thankful Jennifer was with us the whole way. As far as vendor suggestions, she’s worked with many in the area and I consistently heard great things about her from the other vendors I spoke to. She had suggestions based on her previous experiences, but was completely open to researching other options if something wasn’t the right fit. She was cost-conscious but also understanding of the industry. Every little detail, some that only a wedding planner would think of, was executed perfectly. In both the smallest and biggest ways, Jennifer made us feel so incredibly special on our wedding day. -

We cannot recommend StR Events more. Jennifer helped us have a truly amazing wedding and enjoy our day without all of the stress we would of had without a 'day of planner'. Her 'Day of' service was so much more than just the day of! Our planning meeting (~4-5 Months out) opened my eyes to how much we truly needed the help of Jennifer and her expertise, attention to detail, and organization to make our vision a reality and our day run as smooth as possible. She planned our day to the minute and made it very easy to share information with our family and bridal party, which meant less calling, texting, and stress and made the week of very enjoyable. She also came to our final meetings and handled all of those little loose ends and in return we were very calm and happy bride and groom! We honestly think that having a day of planner like Jennifer is the best way to have FUN at your wedding and be able to look back on the photos and videos and know that you were present in the moment enjoying your special day! My daughter's wedding was a spectacular event for the bride and groom and both of their families. We cannot thank Jennifer enough for making sure the entire weekend ran as seamlessly as possible. She particularly shined on the wedding day, as I was able to relax and enjoy the day, knowing we were in good hands. My daughter was infinitely more relaxed too, because she trusted Jennifer with all the last minute details. I also appreciated her fast turnaround time on emails. That meant a lot to me. Michelle, our wedding planner was great! Michelle made planning the wedding enjoyable and efficient. She is always 10 steps ahead and gave great advice and direction. We received many compliments from our guests the day of the wedding on how she organized the day. Michelle kept us all in task throughout the long day without being intrusive.
We will definitely ask her to be our planner for our next wedding!

I wish I could give Michelle 10 stars. She was amazing to work with and helped create the wedding of our dreams. We hired Michelle about 4 months before our wedding, and our only mistake was not hiring her sooner. I am very organized, like to plan ahead and overall have a hard time delegating tasks to others- so I was hesitant to hire a wedding planner. Michelle exceeded all of my expectations. She was so on top of every detail- big or small. Every time I went to follow up with a vendor or complete a task, Michelle had already done it.
Not only was Michelle organized and fun to work with, she has an eye for design. Michelle helped bring my pinterest ideas for florals and linens to reality. She picked beautiful table linens and helped make our cookie table perfect. She also helped fine tune details I would have never thought of. Her work in setting up our day-of timeline was also immensely helpful; I couldnt imagine taking on that task.
I could go on for hours about our positive experience working with Michelle at StR. We couldnt recommend her more highly!

Michelle is absolutely the best wedding planner. My daughter and I worked with her for almost a year to prepare for her wedding last weekend. We can not tell you what a phenomenal job Michelle did. She is kind, patient, creative, pays incredible attention to detail, listens, found incredible vendors and honestly she is just a wonderful person who wants everything to be perfect for your special day. Thanks in large part to Jennifer Drew, our daughter's wedding weekend was executed flawlessly. Jennifer is so talented - she combines a deep knowledge of the business with amazing organizational and communication skills and professionalism. What stands out the most to me is how relaxed I was able to be all weekend and how much I was able to be present at the wedding for our daughter, our guests and family, and for myself. Can I give 10 stars for Jennifer and StR events? I don't even know where to start with expressing my gratitude for all the hard work Jennifer put into coordinating our wedding day. I was a lost puppy newly engaged, in the big city, and never having planned a lick of a wedding before. I had no idea where to start, but I knew I NEEDED HELP. As soon as we met Jennifer, we knew she was exactly what we needed. She is calm, down to earth, and GETS STUFF DONE. All the vendors we chose were based on her recommendations, and they did not disappoint! She kept us honest throughout the whole planning process, and I was amazed by how well we were able to stick to our budget. To say that Jennifer held my hand through this entire journey is a complete understatement. In what would be shear chaos for me, she handles with absolute poise. Our family and wedding party all raved about Jennifer and her communication and organizational skills. StR Events is excellent. I highly recommend for any event planning in the Columbus area. Getting married is such a big milestone, and while the planning could have been very stressful and unenjoyable, Michelle of StR made it easy and fun--something my mom and I will look back on with fond memories for years and years to come. We absolutely loved Michelle's kind and gentle ways with us, as well as her vision, expertise and her keen attention to detail. We were so stressed out by the big picture until we met her. I honestly don't know how you plan a wedding without Jennifer and StR Events! Everyone getting married (or planning any event) should consider making room in his/her budget for Jennifer (btw... her services are budget-friendly). She was amazing! From the first meeting she came prepared with checklists and spreadsheets to make sure we stayed on track. Not only is she organized, but she is creative and turned our half-baked ideas into a truly amazing and coordinated event!
The month of the event she took over calling and confirming all vendors, setting up final appointments, reminding us that a payment was due, and the list goes on. This took so much stress away, we cannot even begin to express our gratitude for what she did for us!
We did our wedding and reception on two different days - she thought of everything both days. She was there for us, our vendors and our guests. And she was always thinking of things that we never would have considered (like moving the guestbook so no one missed signing it).
Jennifer and StR Events were professional, caring, prompt, responsive - all the things you would want from a wedding coordinator. She also brought resources to help on the day of the wedding and reception that shared the same vibe and attention to detail. We trusted her fully, and it took so much stress off of us from day one until the big day. We were able to focus on the important things - like each other and loving the time with our family and friends. We are so so so incredibly happy with her work. Thank you Jennifer! -

Michelle at STR was amazing from the moment I first spoke with her. I was planning a wedding in Columbus but living in Houston and knew that I needed some help to get everything done. STR was the first and only event planning company that I contacted and after my first conversation with Michelle, I was confident that I was in good hands.
I hired Michelle as a weekend coordinator. She met me for drinks at a time when I was in town so that we could get to know each other (even though that time was Christmas, she made time for me). Then, about 3m months before the wedding, she scheduled a call for us to discuss all the details. From there, she confirmed details with all my vendors, put together a timeline, worked with me on any changes and pulling together a checklist, and just generally made sure everything was going smoothly. She ran our rehearsal flawlessly and on the day, handled our minor hiccups with ease and made me feel so relaxed and confident that everything was being handled perfectly. During the reception, she always kept my champagne glass filled and I couldn't tell you how, but she was always right where I needed her when I needed her.
I am so thankful to have worked with Michelle. She made my entire vision come to life and helped to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Even our wedding guests were asking me about her!

Jennifer Drew is AMAZING!! You do not need to look any further than StR Events for a wedding planner to assist you with planning and executing your wedding day vision. My mother-in-law hired her for my sister-in-law’s wedding in 2015 and she told me that it was a definite must to have her on our team for the big day. I was a little hesitant as I am a slight control freak who had been planning our wedding on my own (we hired her about a year in advance). She took over when we were 3 months out from the day and helped me figure out the small details that I had overlooked or was struggling to finalize. Compiling the timeline for the weekend and organizing the vendors was one of the major things I stressed about and she took care of everything!! She was so professional and having her there on that day made me the most calm I’ve been during the entire wedding planning process. She helped me with a small wedding dress wardrobe malfunction, provided sweat blotting wipes when the AC stopped working in the church/bus (I never saw her sweat), and while my husband and I enjoyed the last dance of the night, she quickly and quietly ensured all of our reception décor was packed up and ready to be loaded into the car when the music stopped. You will not regret hiring StR Events to plan your big day and you’ll actually be able to enjoy it without having to worry about all the details. I cannot thank Jennifer and her assistant enough for all that they did for me and my husband, our bridal party, and our guests on our wedding day. -

I don’t even know where to begin in describing just how wonderful Jennifer and StR Events are. Jennifer helped us plan our wedding from beginning to end and I honestly have no idea what I would’ve done without her. From helping us choose our venue and vendors, to picking out flowers, linens and décor to contacting our vendors to organize the day of timeline and making sure everyone was where they needed to be and when, she was amazing! My husband and I are terrible procrastinators and she kept us in check throughout the entire planning process, which was exactly what we needed. She was always quick to respond to texts and emails and SO very organized. I relied heavily on Jennifer’s vendor suggestions as well her opinions of décor and she did not disappoint! Everything turned out BEAUTIFULLY and all of our vendors were fantastic! I heard many comments from friends and family regarding how calm and stress free I seemed to be and I was! Because of StR Events, I was able to enjoy the day without worry or stress.
We have since had several guests tell us it was “THE BEST WEDDING” they had ever attended! Jennifer truly made one of the most important days of our lives ‘Something to Remember’, not only for us but for all of our guests. We are SO glad we chose StR Events to guide us and coordinate our big day. I absolutely recommend them for any of your event planning needs. -

During the beginning steps of our wedding planning process, my now husband and I knew we wanted a small wedding - 50 guests!. One of my biggest concerns in planning was making sure our day had a smooth sequence of events. After deciding that hiring a weekend coordinator would best help us put together our ideas, we found Michelle and StR Events. Michelle took time to get to know us and our vision for our day, was always available to answer questions, offer brilliant suggestions, and created a stress-free planning process. Our wedding was one for the books, Michelle knocked it out of the park and there was not one hiccup in the timeline of our day. We would make the decision to work with StR a million times over! Steve Martin in "Father of the Bride" had nothing on me as I assumed the financing of my daughter's wedding. As expenditures escalated, so did my blood pressure. The final straw was when my daughter asked to have a wedding planner. I thought this expense was an extravagance we could do without. However, my daughter was finishing law school out of state, studying for the bar exam, and starting a new job in addition to getting married. So I agreed, and I am so glad I did. We hired Jennifer from StR Events and she was fantastic! She took care of everything from contacting vendors to organizing, down to the minute, the entire wedding day. She even helped me with a malfunctioning tux! I consider the cost of securing Jennifer an investment in my daughter's happiness- she was free to completely enjoy the love of her new husband, her family, and her friends who shared this special day with us. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more because of Jennifer and StR Events. With a two and a half year engagement, I thought I had so much time that I could do everything myself. I booked the venue, photographer, and videographer, but then began to get overwhelmed with still a year to go. To add to ordinary wedding stress, I was in my third year of law school out of state and was going to be graduating, moving back to Ohio, taking the bar exam, starting a new job, and getting married within a four month period. I hired Jennifer almost exactly one year out for event design and coordination and it was the best decision I ever made. When we had our initial design meeting, I showed her a few Pinterest pictures and she took it from there. She came up with exactly what I wanted and helped me execute it. She gave instant suggestions and feedback on vendors and ideas for flowers, linens, invitations, cake, everything! Even when I second-guessed and overthought my choices, Jennifer remained patient and helped me talk through what I wanted. When it became time to study for and take the bar exam two months before the wedding, she took over- she created the timeline, reached out to vendors, fielded questions, etc. She thought of and had a solution for every aspect of the wedding. On the day of, I was so happy and relaxed because I knew she and her staff were handling everything. When I would start to worry and ask her to check on something, she had already handled it and twenty other things. She kept us on schedule and executed everything perfectly- bubbles coming out of the church, pictures at the Statehouse, dozens of candles lit at the reception, a guest appearance by Brutus, milk and cookies passed around, and more. It was a perfect day because of Jennifer.

I can’t say enough great things about Michelle and Something to Remember! We hired StR for day-of coordination, plus a several other planning services (so somewhere between day of and full package). As very busy people who planned an out of state wedding, Michelle was a life saver in so many ways. Michelle was amazing at giving us guidance on all the planning elements we had left, helping us define and carry out our vision for décor and the overall “look” of the wedding, giving us great suggestions for our remaining vendors, organizing all the many details and logistics involved in a big wedding, and of course making sure the day ran perfectly! One of the best things was having someone on our team who was a wedding expert - Michelle was always willing to answer any questions, no matter how big or how small, and she was full of great advice without ever being “pushy.” She was also just fun to talk to!
We also loved having Michelle as a go-between for some of our vendors. Even though our reception location came with a coordinator, it was invaluable having someone on our team whose top priority was our best interests and who could advocate for us in any situations that came up (and we had several situations come up with the reception location that Michelle was critical in helping us navigate!).
Our wedding was perfect. Absolutely beautiful, as stress free for us and our families as it possibly could have been, and above all really felt like “us,” and we have Michelle to thank. We are highly organized, list-making people, and there’s no way our wedding could have been half as nice or half as stress free without Michelle and her team. Our only regret is not hiring StR sooner so we could have spent less time feeling super stressed out wedding planning and more time feeling like everything was under control. We can honestly say it was the best money we spent on the whole wedding by far, and we would shout our recommendation for Michelle and StR from the rooftops! -

Jennifer & StR Events were absolutely AMAZING to work with! It was by far the best decision we made to hire them to help us plan our wedding. Jennifer helped us set our budget, found incredible vendors that fit in that budget, and helped us to stay on track and pulled everything together for our wedding. We were planning from out of town, and Jennifer was always available to talk or answer questions, most of the time getting back to us with answers within the hour of our questions! She is extremely organized and well prepared and made us so incredibly confident that everything would go smoothly on our day of. Leading up to the wedding they handled contacting vendors, ironed out any issues with our vendors, and took care of all the many details so that ou were able to really relax and enjoy our wedding & the time leading up to it. Without StR, we could not have planned our wedding to be as amazing and stress free as it was! We would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!! -

Jennifer Drew and Something to Remember Events made our wedding day absolutely perfect. It was completely stress free for my husband and I, which allowed us to enjoy the day and spend quality with our friends and family. In the weeks leading up to the event, Jennifer took on all communication with vendors and planning tasks, so that we could focus on what was most important. We had a few bumps in the road with some of the vendors we selected; Jennifer took charge to handle everything, including reassuring me (which is quite a feat, as I'm a chronic worrier). Everything ran smoothly the day of. Jennifer is responsive, timely, professional, and fun. She has a great, positive attitude that rubs off on everyone. If you're thinking about hiring a day-of wedding coordinator, and I highly recommend that you do, hire Jennifer! She is experienced, professional, and will make sure your wedding goes smoothly!
After months and months of planning and outlining all of the details, the last thing I wanted was me or my mom worrying about executing everything on my wedding day. Jennifer was recommended to us by a friend and we selected her as our Day-of Coordinator for our October 2015 wedding in Columbus.
The first time we met with Jennifer, we knew that we could trust her to execute our wedding just as we envisioned it. Because she is super experienced with weddings, she brought up several items we hadn't even thought of and put together a full weekend timeline, which was super helpful.
The day of the wedding, Jennifer was always right there when we needed her - when we needed help executing our first look photo, she worked it out with our photographer; when we wanted more time to greet tables at the reception, she told the DJ to push back the toasts. ***Her ability to quickly problem solve on the spot reassured us that hiring her was well worth the investment, and more!***
All of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to - and we have Jennifer to thank for bringing it all together! -

I am an extremely organized and detail-oriented person, however, after several months of meticulous planning, I needed some help. I finally heeded the advice of my friends and family to find a day-of coordinator to take some weight off my shoulders.
My fiance and I had selected all of our vendors and had a clear vision for the evening, so we needed to find someone we trusted to execute the plan. Jennifer did exactly that and more.
She instantly impressed us by her prompt responses to our emails and matching our needs with our budget to put together a package for us. She sustained our vision throughout the entire process while adding expertise in managing vendors and events that can only come from years of experience.
Our reception involved a large number of vendors and Jennifer kept in contact and finalized plans with them in the last weeks and days before the wedding. It was a huge help as it allowed us to focus more on our ceremony, vows and each other. When there was some confusion between our venue and a rental company Jennifer helped guide us through the process. Even when we had an issue with a food vendor on our wedding night, thankfully, Jennifer was there to deal with the vendor and hold them accountable so we could enjoy the evening.
I would suggest that even the most organized bride spends the money on a day-of coordinator and would wholeheartedly recommend Jennifer with STR Events. -

After having been recommended to us by a friend, Jennifer convinced us very quickly that she would be an ideal choice to help us plan our wedding. Over the course of 9 months, she was an invaluable resource: She was organized, she was (incredibly) responsive, she was thoughtful, she was thorough, she was timely, she was pleasant, she was punctual. She never asked too many questions, and never asked too few. She brought the vision my wife and I brought to her, and at the outset, we truly lacked a firm idea of what we wanted. Our wedding was large, with many moving parts and opinionated family members, and Jennifer handled it all with aplomb. And on the wedding day itself, she was omnipresent. We wouldn't change a thing about our wedding weekend, and that's in very large part due to Jennifer. We cannot recommend her highly enough, and how she saved us time, energy, stress, and allowed us to focus on one another. Please, hire her. It will be one of the best decisions you make. -

She eliminated all stress for us and our family, so everyone was able to relax and enjoy the day. Jennifer made us feel so pampered all day because she was so attentive to our needs, on top of making sure the day ran smoothly. I was fortunate enough to have Jennifer as my wedding coordinator June 6th.
Jennifer allowed our wedding to run without a hitch by keeping everything/everyone running on time, ensured their jobs were performed, and foresaw/eliminated every potential problem before they could happen.
We were alerted 10-15min prior to every obligation (cake cutting, garter toss, etc...) and again 2-3min beforehand. My bride's drink was refilled before she could ask all day, and the numerous small requests I made throughout the proceedings were met every-time within minutes. Somehow she was able to accomplish all of this while making us feel like royalty (I'm not sure if I mentioned that).
Jennifer excelled at communicating with the various different personalities involved with our families and wedding parties. Her knowledge and input pertaining to the weekend's schedule was helpful, clever, seamless and non-invasive. AND, my bride and I we were the most important people she had ever met...at least this is how we felt.
If you have your perfect wedding mapped out, hire Jennifer Drew. Everything that could go wrong will never even cross your mind. -

I can’t say enough about the excellent experience we had with Jennifer and Something to Remember. We hired her as a weekend coordinator for our daughter’s wedding, and my only regret is that we did not find her sooner and hire her to coordinate the entire event. Her responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to every small detail were outstanding. She expertly managed the many different personalities involved in our wedding, which was no small feat. Jennifer is absolutely amazing! I originally thought she was just going to be around on wedding day to keep everything running smoothly and I quickly realized that I got a lot more than that. She is extremely organized, thoughtful, smart and overall fantastic to work with! Jennifer took over all contact with my vendors at least a month before our wedding "because the bride has enough things to worry about". During our meeting to finalize details she brought a list of questions that my husband and I had not even thought of (my favorite - "is there a family member who I should be concerned about on wedding day?"). During early meetings and our rehearsal she made several recommendations that made our wedding even better. Her expertise is truly impressive. A lot of people have asked me if anything went wrong and my answer has always been "Everything was perfect. If something did go wrong, I definitely did not know about it". My husband, family and I could not find a negative thing to say about Jennifer and have already been highly recommending her services to other brides-to-be. -

With stress building from wedding planning on my own, my mom found Jennifer at Something to Remember, and set up an appointment to meet her. I ended up going with my dad, and from the first impression, both of us knew we HAD to have her! I am so incredibly THANKFUL she was available because she absolutely made my ENTIRE wedding day PERFECT! Since I had a few details planned, I went with the Day-of Coordination and we added on meetings throughout the planning process. I was so happy we did that! Jennifer came with me to final meetings and guided me through decisions to make everything cohesive. At our final floral meeting, she ended up planning all of my linen too! I didn't have do anything, and I completely trusted her! She also gave me recommendations for anything I asked for, and gave me options. I ended up going with the make-up artist and limo services she reccommended and they were great! I could call, text, or email her at anytime and she was always available. With Jennifer, I went weeks/months without having to email vendors, make decisions, or follow-up with anyone. She kept in constant contact with everyone, and it allowed me to relax knowing she had everything under control. Having a timeline for the bride, groom, bridal party, parents of the couple, & all the vendors was AMAZING!! Because of that, everything throughout the day was on time and nothing felt rushed! If there were any 'hiccups' or 'bumps in the road', I never knew about them. Jennifer handled rehersal and the day of perfectly. She allowed my husband & I to have the most beautiful day, and we could enjoy every bit of it! I can honestly say I remember everything about the day because Jennifer allowed us time to soak in each moment! At the end of the night, she even brought us drinks during the reception and said, "Go out there and have fun!!" Hiring Jennifer was the BEST decision we made for our wedding, and I couldn't be happier with her services! -

The wedding exceeded our wildest expectations! The ceremony in the Greek Orthodox Church in Columbus itself was so very lovely and will forever be one of my cherished memories From the food to the beautifully decorated reception hall, the cakes, florist, photographers, DJ, no detail was overlooked!
Our wedding planner Jennifer Drew handled everything very professionally. She & her assistant were present and taking care of all aspects of the reception up until the last of the guests had left! -

As soon as I got engaged I knew that I needed a wedding planner to help me. With a demanding work schedule, among other things, I knew there was no way I could pull this wedding off without a professional. During my initial meeting with Jennifer we talked about a lot of things: my vision, how involved I wanted STR to be, & of course my budget. My husband, parents, and I decided that we would need the full service package and I have to say it was money well spent. Jennifer and her team far exceeded my expectations. From researching vendors in my budget, to attending the meetings with the vendors, helping me make informed decisions & taking every idea I had to a whole new level. Jennifer was quick to respond to my correspondences (and my parents), was organized, & helped put me at ease during any anxious moment I had. On the day of the wedding Jennifer and her team took care of everything from schedule, vendor set up, and tear down at the end of the night so our families were truly able to enjoy every minute of what I have to say was a perfect day. Jennifer is knowledgeable, creative, organized, & truly works to make you special day one of a kind. My husband and I worked with Jennifer for our wedding. We did the Weekend to Remember package and Jennifer and her team helped us make sure everything went smoothly for our big day. Both of our families are from small towns and were a bit skeptical of us utilizing a wedding planner to help out; however, after the wedding we heard multiple compliments from our families and wedding party about how organized, efficient, and stress-free everything went thanks to Jennifer. My husband and I couldn't agree more.Jennifer was always quick to respond to our questions, patient with us when we were slow making decisions, and knows so much about working with Columbus wedding vendors. Jennifer was the perfect level of involved giving advice when we needed it but really encouraging us to make our day perfect for us. She went above and beyond in helping us getting things ready even offering to go to an extra meeting with our caterer to make sure everything went perfectly. I cannot thank Jennifer and her team enough for taking away the stress from us and our families and helping us have a wedding day full of beautiful memories. -

Something to Remember was absolutely fantastic in helping to plan my wedding! I couldn't have done it without them. Jennifer was very easy to work with as well as very professional. She worked tirelessly to find out exactly how I wanted my wedding to look and feel, and she made it happen, making sure we stuck to the budget in the process. She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to choosing vendors, as she has an extensive circle of contacts, but was also willing to go above and beyond to find a new photographer that fit my wants. Her attention to detail is impressive as well! My family and friends tried to think of something, anything that went wrong on our wedding day, but we literally could not think of a single thing. The day was even better than I had imagined, and Something to Remember was the biggest reason for that. We continue to receive rave reviews on our reception and all of the details that went into it. Our daughter could not have had such a beautiful wedding without STREvents With over 200 guests and 8 bridesmaids, there was a lot to manage, but STREvents brought everything together for a carefree and fun weekend. -

My wedding day was literally perfect and it can be mainly attributed to Jennifer. My mom hired her as a day of coordinator but she was a huge help way before the wedding. She had amazing advice, is extremely responsive and wasn't afraid to give her opinion (which you want when it is your first time doing this!). I was so comforted the whole weekend knowing that Jennifer was taking care of everything. My mom and I woke up, had mimosas, and didn't have to worry about anything because we trusted she had everything under control and she did. She remembered even the small comments about how we wanted things and had to correct our venue coordinator several times. She ran our rehearsal and our wedding party all loved her because they always knew what was going on and where to be. I can't think of a single flaw in the logistics of the day and I can honestly say hiring Jennifer was the best decision we made for the wedding. I honestly don't know how people do it without a coordinator and you won't be disappointed to have Jennifer as yours! -

Jennifer Drew of Something to Remember Event Services is the ultimate professional, friendly and a sincere pleasure to work with. In the beginning stages of planning my daughter's wedding, I thought that I could do it all myself. But, I soon realized that I would not be able to enjoy the wedding day without the help of a "day of " coordinator. After I did all the hard work of choosing my vendors, Jennifer and her assistant, Brooke, stepped in and made sure that every detail was taken care of on the day of the wedding, and on the days leading up to the wedding. She is hardworking and very organized. I am thankful that I made the decision to use her services. She is "amazing" (quoted by my D.J.). Something to Remember Events far exceeded my expectations. Jennifer was so amazing to work with. I had hired her as a day-of-coordinator for my wedding but was there every step of the way for me as opposed to just the day. We were in contact all throughout the process....she checked in often to make sure I was doing well and if she could help with anything. One of the things I most appreciated when we met or spoke is, Jennifer always asked what I was most stressed about or unsure about...and she came up with solutions to ease my mind and make my vision come to life. I was doing DIY centerpieces and she brought in extra help so that I could relieve some of my guests who had offered to help. She also offered to shift her hours so she could help with the breakdown of centerpieces. She made me feel so much better about a DIY decision that I was really questioning, but it ended up perfect. Jennifer was all around awesome to work with and my wedding was absolute perfection and I owe so much of that to her and her team. I would 100% recommend every bride get at least a day-of coordinator and Jennifer is the simply the best! -

Jennifer and her team were nothing but amazing! When I first met Jennifer I was slightly hesitant to hire her because she had not previously done an Indian wedding on her own. However, she quickly put me at ease and I am so glad that we went with her for our big day. Jennifer is very detail oriented and thinks of all the right questions (and then some)! Indian weddings tend to be big and the guests are not easy to direct. Our priest was over an hour late to our ceremony and yet most of our guests didn't even realize it. Per guest reports, Jennifer and her team remained calm and attempted to help in any way possible. Even though Jennifer was on vacation in Hawaii for 10 days before my wedding and only got back a couple days before the event, I would have never known it. She was quick to respond to my emails and continued the planning process even while on vacation. We were able to do most of our planning from emails and phone calls. This was so nice because running around to meetings right before your wedding is hard! I am so happy that we had Something to Remember Event Services hired as our day-of wedding coordinators. They were professional and truly a necessity. I am not quite sure what day would have looked like without them. Many thanks to Jennifer and her team! -

Jennifer was absolutely amazing! From our first meeting, she knew my tastes and understood my vision - almost better than I did. When I began my search for a wedding planner, I talked to another lady prior to Jennifer and there was absolutely no comparison! She knew exactly what I needed and when I needed it - which was especially great because I am a procrastinator. When I got stressed (as every bride does) - she always had a remedy or at least an ear to listen and by the time we were finished with our conversation, it wasn't nearly as bad as I had once thought. I have a very busy work schedule and she always worked around my schedule. Anybody would be lucky to have Jennifer as their wedding planner. She made my dream day a reality and I could never have done it without her! -

I was extremely lucky to have Jennifer with StR plan our Toledo wedding. Jennifer did not have an easy task as I was located in Hong Kong during the entire planning process and didn't exactly have a "dream vision" in mind. Jennifer was able to take some of my favorite things, create a vision, and uniquely incorporate them into a wedding I never could have imagined… all in under six months! Outside of the look and feel of the reception, she was also extremely professional and responsive throughout the entire planning process. She ensured the entire day ran smoothly, stayed on time, and everyone got to where they needed to be. If anything went wrong, I had no idea because Jennifer took care of it. I can't recommend Jennifer and StR enough! -

We are so thankful that we engaged Jennifer at STR Events as the wedding planner for our daughter's wedding. Although hesitant at first, we now understand the value of hiring a wedding planner. The bride was out of the country and the wedding was in the U.S, which added extra challenges. With only 6 months to plan, Jennifer was highly organized, responsive, professional and made sure that vendors/ details were taken care of and nothing was missed. If I could give Jennifer from Something to Remember 6 stars instead of 5 for Quality, Responsiveness, and Value, I absolutely would. Jennifer was with me from beginning to end. She responded to emails and texts quickly, assisted me with some vendor difficulties, and soothed my nerves every time I started to get nervous about missing a detail. She was very organized, and her organization helped me to be confident that our wedding would be pulled off smoothly. On the day of the wedding, I forgot about all the planning and simply enjoyed our big day - I found out later that there were some small details that went wrong (not her fault), but Jennifer made sure that my guests and I were unaware that anything was amiss. Overall everything went smoothly. I definitely recommend Something To Remember - she was wonderful to work with, and I also found her services to be a good value compared to other planners that I researched. -

When I began planning my wedding, I knew I wanted to do a lot of the planning and preparing myself. However, I found myself overwhelmed with all of the little details and even with a year till the wedding I was already stressed about the wedding day going off without a hitch. That's when I enlisted the services of STR Events and built a customized "Weekend To Remember" package that fit our needs. Jennifer and team took care of every detail. A couple of months before the wedding, Jennifer prepared a detailed timeline for the wedding day. This was probably the most stressful part for me that was completely taken care of with the help of STR Events. I was able to use this detailed timeline to organize setup and delivery times with each of my vendors, as well as ensure everyone was in the right place at the right time. Jennifer and team also took care of setting up our venue for the reception and making sure every detail was exactly how I had envisioned it. So much hardwork and time goes into preparing for a wedding, it was a huge relief to know someone was there to make sure it all came together as planned. My family and myself were totally able to relax and enjoy the entire wedding day! The most unexpected moment working with STR Events came 15 minutes before I walked down the aisle when Jennifer had to sew a button back on to my wedding dress. She was prepared with needle and thread from her "emergency kit," and handled the situation calmly and quickly. I was down the aisle on time and completely dodged a moment that could have put any stressed out, nervous bride over the edge! -

Hello! My name is Kelsey Webb and I'm on a radio show in Columbus - The WNCI Morning Zoo on 97.9. When I got engaged after nine years of dating, it was a big topic of discussion! The woman behind the company, Jennifer, worked with me for a year and a half. We both devoted a lot of our lives to making my wedding extremely unique and fun. We had some last minute "major" changes. Jennifer just took them in stride. Her major concern was what we wanted.
I don't know how many other wedding planners out there actually have a degree in logistics and management. But talk about organization. I think with her warmth, this was an unbeatable combination. This woman is a class act and a pro! -

The owner Jennifer Drew, has excellent taste and is terrific to work with--very flexible and sensitive to the fact that no two weddings are the same. Our families both commented about her professionalism and efficiency.
