Society 11:11 was amazing! Brittany and her team did a fantastic job. We had eight ladies (including me, the bride) get full hair and makeup, and they managed our timeline beautifully. Everyone looked cohesive in photos — whether they had straight hair, natural hair, wigs, or braids — and we all felt so cared for.
I highly recommend the Elite Bride package! Brittany stayed with me until after the ceremony so I could do a hair change, and it was one of the best decisions I made. Brides, you’ll spend your pre-ceremony hours doing first looks, happy crying, and lots of hugs — having my beauty team there to keep me looking fresh before walking down the aisle was a game changer. Plus, being able to switch to a more party-ready look after the ceremony was such a fun touch!
If I ever need to feel glamorous again, I’ll definitely be reaching out to Society 11:11. -

I cannot recommend Candice and the team of women at Society 11:11 enough! She did my makeup for my wedding, along with my MOA and my mom, and every single one of us was blown away by her talent. My mom even loved her makeup so much she didn’t want to remove it! Candice truly is the best at what she does, using top-tier products to create flawless looks.
Before my wedding shower, I was dealing with stress-related skin irritation and redness, and Candice worked her magic to make my skin look flawless. Her recommendations were spot-on and showed her expertise.
I utilized both hair and makeup services and everyone LOVED their look-thank you to the ladies who were apart of the hair team!

I cannot recommend Society 11:11 enough for beautiful wedding makeup, pre-wedding event makeup, or special event or night out on the town looks, where you want to look your best and feel your most confident. Throughout the process leading up to my wedding day on 10.21.2023, I worked directly with Candice, who is one of the owners. We had video consultations, a makeup trial, we exchanged many emails, texts and they were always highly communicative and organized. Candice was my personal make up artist and she was accompanied by 2 additional talented makeup artists, Dee and Tara for my wedding day. We had only started wedding planning 6 months before our big day, and were able to sign Society 11:11 THREE months before our wedding. They were flexible and worked really hard to accommodate the close date for 11 of us, they were also able to do my rehearsal dinner hair and makeup!! Candice was very transparent up front that while they would have loved to do our wedding hair as well, their team was already committed to other events that day. Candice’s business partner did my hair for rehearsal dinner and it came out so beautiful!! They worked really well and collaboratively with my hair artists on wedding day as well.
From the moment I first met Candice, I was captivated by her fun energy and positive vibes. She created an atmosphere that instantly put me at ease, making the entire experience very enjoyable. It felt like spending time with close friends, which made the whole process feel even more special and relaxed.
To me what sets Society 11:11 apart from other artists I looked at, was their versatility to effortless work with different skin tones, features, and a wide range of makeup preferences. It was amazing to see how Candice and her team adapted to each individual’s unique features, preferences, and created flawless, and absolutely stunning looks.
Candice and her team have this natural ability to build confidence. Every step of the way, they showered me with compliments and encouragement, and recommendations to help bring out the best look for me as there were times I was uncertain / not confident on what I wanted. Their uplifting energy and genuine support had a transformative effect on my self-esteem, and I walked down the aisle feeling like I could conquer anything.
Not only did Candice and her team make me feel confident, but they also made our family members look absolutely stunning. They created a cohesive and glamorous look for our entire group. It was evident that Candice and her team truly understood the importance of making everyone feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin.

I received the most high quality care the beauty industry has to offer right here in Richmond VA. This team of professionals think of everything from scheduling, to skincare recommendations, to hair prep consultations. They are knowledgeable, relatable, and were determined to make me and my bridal party look as beautiful and confident as we felt that day! I am so glad I booked them well in advance. This team is booked and busy for a reason! Worth EVERY PENNY, do not penny pinch on these professionals, your hair and make-up team will quickly become your advocate and therapist when you need it the most! Candice and Brittany were AMAZING to work with and effortlessly provided a TOP TIER service to myself as the bride and my bride tribe. From the beginning of my experience starting with the consultation to my wedding day, I sincerely appreciated their professionalism, hospitality, organization, attention to details, and of course their impeccable artistry. I received so many compliments on my makeup that lasted the entire night and I felt like a true queen. During the day of events, they made sure the atmosphere was relaxed and on schedule. Can we say No STRESS?! (Especially with the bridal facial massage) Beyond the makeup service, these two supported me and the additional vendor team to help make my wedding day so special. The Place to go for all your Hair and Make up needs!!
I chose Society 11:11 to do my make up for my wedding. I knew I didn't want to do it myself and I never had my make up done professionally. I went for my pre-wedding time to see what make up colors work best on me. Candice was the best! She put me at ease from the beginning. On my wedding day she met me in my hotel to apply my make up for my big day. It couldn't have been any easier.

Brittany and Candice are fantastic to work with!! They are so fun and easy to talk to. Brittany really took her time to perfect the look I wanted during my makeup and hair trial and she was open to changes between the bridal trial and big day! She really listens to your vision, is amazing at makeup and hair, and most of all, she is kind and sweet. Just a wonderful person overall and very professional!! I was obsessed with the little touchup bags she gave each girl which included a sample of the lipstick she used on us. She made me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day and I got compliments all night long. I would 100% book them over again. Thank you Society 11:11!!!
Tip for brides-to-be: schedule AMPLE time for you and your wedding party to get ready— time flies by & you don’t want to feel rushed!! -

Brittany and Candice are the best! We hired them for our LGBTQ+ Indian fusion wedding and they provided makeup and hair services for our engagement shoot, Sangeet, and wedding ceremony and reception. I initially looked at Indian and South Asian vendors, but found them way too expensive and too niche. I liked that Society 11:11 was affordable and had brides with all skin colors and could make my brown skin and my wife's white skin glow. Candice and Brittany were a joy to work with, they drew upon our inspiration looks and surpassed them! My wife and I would like to hire them do our hair and makeup for special occasions every year. We highly recommend Society 11:11. -

Words to describe Brittany at Society 11:11 Professional, On point, Knowledgeable. I can go on and on with positive things about this young Business Woman. I reached out to Society 11:11 after a bad experience with my first make-up artist for my photo shoot for out 30th Wedding Renewal Vows. I am not a make-up person, when I tell you that on my Renewal Day I look absolutely Gorgeous! My face, as the young people say "Was Beat!" Brittany knew what color worked for my skin tone she understood everything I wanted and needed. She knew her assignment. This was a dream come true. I did not need a touch up during the ceremony. The compliments I received about my look were out of this world. Brittany made sure everything was perfect, and I Thank You Brittany! If your looking for a make-up artist, book Society 11:11. Fantastic, efficient communication and great vibes!
Since most of my bridal party was Asian, I was looking for hair/makeup teams that highlighted diversity and showcased a strong ability to work with hooded eyes. I am not picky about makeup otherwise (I usually throw on some concealer and brow powder and call it a day). Society 11:11 was one of the first to come up in my search on The Knot. They were very new at the time, but I was immediately impressed by their existing reviews and the photos on Candice's Instagram, so I reached out to set up a call. I wish I could put into words the amazing vibes I got from Candice on our consultation call. I immediately knew she would take care of my party and me; her values and business prowess were evident in her mannerisms and conversation skills. She and her team are there to have such a fun time but also know how to maintain professionalism. I planned my wedding from out of state, and when I informed Candice that I only had a few time slots open to do my trial, she upgraded me at no additional cost to have Brittany, her co-founder and a master stylist, to do both my trial and day-of hair and makeup. She was on time and efficient and kept me informed. I loved that she didn't force small talk, and she made me feel so comfortable and at peace during my trial and day-of. The assistant makeup and hair stylists who worked their magic on my bridal party were quick but not sloppy, and everyone was so pleased with their looks. I also loved that a few weeks before our wedding date, Candice and Brittany provided us with an exact schedule of who would be doing whose hair/makeup when so everyone knew when to show up. I highly recommend Society 11:11 for their professionalism, organization and FUN! -

My whole bridal party and I looked absolutely fabulous - glam yet natural, and they are so much fun, we had so much fun with them getting ready in the bridal suite. They are timely and professional.
