Society 11:11 and Manpreet were so easy to work with, and made sure I was comfortable and beautiful on my wedding day! I have curly hair, and was very concerned about finding a stylist who was confident working with texture. From my first meeting with the Society 11:11 team, I was at ease. Manpreet worked with me during my trial to make sure I had exactly the look that I wanted, and that I felt comfortable giving feedback about any changes I wanted to make. On my wedding day, she worked with me, as well as my sister, mom, and mother-in-law. She made us all feel great, while still looking like ourselves. I loved her ability to elevate our features in both makeup and hair styling, especially as a group of people who do not wear a lot of makeup day-to-day. I loved working with Manpreet and would recommend her and the whole team at Society 11:11!

Society 11:11 was amazing! Brittany and her team did a fantastic job. We had eight ladies (including me, the bride) get full hair and makeup, and they managed our timeline beautifully. Everyone looked cohesive in photos — whether they had straight hair, natural hair, wigs, or braids — and we all felt so cared for.
I highly recommend the Elite Bride package! Brittany stayed with me until after the ceremony so I could do a hair change, and it was one of the best decisions I made. Brides, you’ll spend your pre-ceremony hours doing first looks, happy crying, and lots of hugs — having my beauty team there to keep me looking fresh before walking down the aisle was a game changer. Plus, being able to switch to a more party-ready look after the ceremony was such a fun touch!

I cannot recommend Candice and the team of women at Society 11:11 enough! She did my makeup for my wedding, along with my MOA and my mom, and every single one of us was blown away by her talent. My mom even loved her makeup so much she didn’t want to remove it! Candice truly is the best at what she does, using top-tier products to create flawless looks.
Before my wedding shower, I was dealing with stress-related skin irritation and redness, and Candice worked her magic to make my skin look flawless. Her recommendations were spot-on and showed her expertise.

I cannot recommend Society 11:11 enough for beautiful wedding makeup, pre-wedding event makeup, or special event or night out on the town looks, where you want to look your best and feel your most confident. Throughout the process leading up to my wedding day on 10.21.2023, I worked directly with Candice, who is one of the owners. We had video consultations, a makeup trial, we exchanged many emails, texts and they were always highly communicative and organized. Candice was my personal make up artist and she was accompanied by 2 additional talented makeup artists, Dee and Tara for my wedding day. We had only started wedding planning 6 months before our big day, and were able to sign Society 11:11 THREE months before our wedding. They were flexible and worked really hard to accommodate the close date for 11 of us, they were also able to do my rehearsal dinner hair and makeup!! Candice was very transparent up front that while they would have loved to do our wedding hair as well, their team was already committed to other events that day. Candice’s business partner did my hair for rehearsal dinner and it came out so beautiful!! They worked really well and collaboratively with my hair artists on wedding day as well.
From the moment I first met Candice, I was captivated by her fun energy and positive vibes. She created an atmosphere that instantly put me at ease, making the entire experience very enjoyable. It felt like spending time with close friends, which made the whole process feel even more special and relaxed.
To me what sets Society 11:11 apart from other artists I looked at, was their versatility to effortless work with different skin tones, features, and a wide range of makeup preferences. It was amazing to see how Candice and her team adapted to each individual’s unique features, preferences, and created flawless, and absolutely stunning looks.
Candice and her team have this natural ability to build confidence. Every step of the way, they showered me with compliments and encouragement, and recommendations to help bring out the best look for me as there were times I was uncertain / not confident on what I wanted. This team of professionals think of everything from scheduling, to skincare recommendations, to hair prep consultations. The Place to go for all your Hair and Make up needs!!
I chose Society 11:11 to do my make up for my wedding. I knew I didn't want to do it myself and I never had my make up done professionally. I went for my pre-wedding time to see what make up colors work best on me. Candice was the best! She put me at ease from the beginning. On my wedding day she met me in my hotel to apply my make up for my big day. It couldn't have been any easier.

Brittany and Candice are fantastic to work with!! They are so fun and easy to talk to. Brittany really took her time to perfect the look I wanted during my makeup and hair trial and she was open to changes between the bridal trial and big day! She really listens to your vision, is amazing at makeup and hair, and most of all, she is kind and sweet. Just a wonderful person overall and very professional!! I was obsessed with the little touchup bags she gave each girl which included a sample of the lipstick she used on us. She made me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day and I got compliments all night long. I would 100% book them over again. Thank you Society 11:11!!!

Brittany and Candice are the best! We hired them for our LGBTQ+ Indian fusion wedding and they provided makeup and hair services for our engagement shoot, Sangeet, and wedding ceremony and reception. I initially looked at Indian and South Asian vendors, but found them way too expensive and too niche. I liked that Society 11:11 was affordable and had brides with all skin colors and could make my brown skin and my wife's white skin glow. Candice and Brittany were a joy to work with, they drew upon our inspiration looks and surpassed them! My wife and I would like to hire them do our hair and makeup for special occasions every year. I reached out to Society 11:11 after a bad experience with my first make-up artist for my photo shoot for out 30th Wedding Renewal Vows. I am not a make-up person, when I tell you that on my Renewal Day I look absolutely Gorgeous! My face, as the young people say "Was Beat!" Fantastic, efficient communication and great vibes!
Since most of my bridal party was Asian, I was looking for hair/makeup teams that highlighted diversity and showcased a strong ability to work with hooded eyes. I am not picky about makeup otherwise (I usually throw on some concealer and brow powder and call it a day). Society 11:11 was one of the first to come up in my search on The Knot. They were very new at the time, but I was immediately impressed by their existing reviews and the photos on Candice's Instagram, so I reached out to set up a call. I wish I could put into words the amazing vibes I got from Candice on our consultation call. I immediately knew she would take care of my party and me; her values and business prowess were evident in her mannerisms and conversation skills. She and her team are there to have such a fun time but also know how to maintain professionalism. I planned my wedding from out of state, and when I informed Candice that I only had a few time slots open to do my trial, she upgraded me at no additional cost to have Brittany, her co-founder and a master stylist, to do both my trial and day-of hair and makeup. She was on time and efficient and kept me informed. I loved that she didn't force small talk, and she made me feel so comfortable and at peace during my trial and day-of. The assistant makeup and hair stylists who worked their magic on my bridal party were quick but not sloppy, and everyone was so pleased with their looks. I also loved that a few weeks before our wedding date, Candice and Brittany provided us with an exact schedule of who would be doing whose hair/makeup when so everyone knew when to show up. I cannot begin to tell you all what a beautiful and amazingly talented person Candice is.
From the first interaction, she made me feel like I mattered and that on my day I would be her priority. Every day after that was part of one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I was so stressed planning my DIY wedding and Candice was willing to hear all my stresses while making me look so gorgeous. Literally, day of my wedding, my Matron of Honor saw my finished makeup and started crying and all she could say was "You just look so beautiful!"
Candice is super detail oriented and listens to your wants so that you look your best on your day. I love that I could support a woman as strong and talented as she is. She and her team came in day of on time and ready to provide every single one of my people with whatever look they wanted. They can do any skin color, any age...any person!
I would hire her to do my makeup everyday. Book her now before she becomes too famous to afford!

Candice is an ARTIST. Her skill is unmatched, and her personality makes the entire experience so incredibly fun and enjoyable. She is very thorough regarding your current skin care, skin concerns as it relates to makeup, how you can best alleviate those skin issues prior to the big day, and ensures she knows the exact look you're going for (and matches it to a T) on the big day. She also ensured that it would last the entire day (and it did) and gave my bridesmaids and me a personalized makeup kit for any extra needs throughout the day. I have never felt more beautiful in my life, and she did that!!! She also does one-on-one sessions (both in-person and virtually), which I cannot wait to attend so I can learn from her expertise. Candice did such an amazing job making me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day! She gave me the look I was going for and much more. She is very professional and truly cares about the health of your skin as well. We were in constant communication throughout the process and she worked with me through all of the changes and challenges of planning a wedding during a pandemic. She has such a warm spirit and a pleasure to work with! My bride tribe and I looked absolutely stunning! We also received cute goodie bags at the end of our service so that we could touch up our makeup throughout the evening. I will definitely book Candice again for future makeup services. -

Candice was AWESOME! She was easy to work with even after a flat tire on my bridal preview day, to a mother in law who couldn't make it up the stairs to the bridal suite. She took it all in stride while making our entire bridal party look absolutely fabulous. Her pricing was spot on for making our day go smoothly. We could not have asked for a sweeter, kinder, more flexible artist to turn us into the most beautiful bridal party we could have ever asked for. We highly recommend her to anyone, for anything! -

Candice is such an awesome make-up artist. She has an uplifting, welcoming personality and made me feel at ease. She was willing to meet me near my wedding venue and I really appreciated that. The make-up was flawless and and I loved that she came prepared with so many foundation shades (so important for folks with melanin!). The make-up lasted all evening and still looked fresh towards the end of the night. Everyone was complimenting me on my make-up. I got married on 12/8/19 and Candice did an incredible job! I threw her some loops by adding an individual to her list last minute and she adapted quickly! She made my time enjoyable. My makeup was beautiful! It held all night! I would certainly recommend her! -

A-maz-ing!
From the very first moment I spoke with Candice on the phone, to the very last moment she sent me off all glammed up as I went off to my “first look”, she was amazing!!! Candice was patient with me and all of my bridesmaids as we explained what we wanted done. She was friendly, kind, outgoing, and made every single girl feel confident and beautiful. I would 100% recommend her and Tara, the other MUA who came along for my big day. They arrived earlier than scheduled on the day of the wedding, which helped give us more time to truly take care of every single girl’s needs. I showed a picture to Candice of what I envisioned for my bridal makeup and the result was spot on. At the end of a very long, fun morning full of makeup and lots of laughs, Candice presented me with a little surprise gift bag filled with a few full size products that she used on me throughout the day. Amazing experience
We don't live in the city of Richmond so I use Instagram to be able to find a makeup artist for my wedding day. I was immediately drawn to Candice pictures I knew I wanted her for my wedding. Her communication was amazing from start to finish. The day of the wedding, we had so much going on and we had to make so many changes to the makeup schedule but she was always flexible. We were running behind so she worked on my makeup as I was getting my hair done at the same time. My mom called her a magician because she made her like so beautiful. I was originally booked with another MUA, but after that fell through I immediately hit panic mode and was wondering what I was going to do. After a quick Google search and a personal reference, I found Candice and was immediately hooked by her social media and online presence. I could tell just from her videos and pictures on her Instagram that she was fun and energetic which is always an added bonus in a wedding vendor to bring positive energy to the day. After contacting her, I was impressed by her thorough interest form she has you fill out. Not only did it ask the standard questions such as date, time, location etc. but it also asked about your skincare and beauty routines and what your current practices are. I could tell Candice looks at the entire picture when it comes to makeup application and that starts with skincare. That made me feel like I was in good and thoughtful hands. Candice was always extremely responsive and quick! I was able to schedule a makeup trial with her within a week of our initial contact. When I arrived at the trial, I was greeted with a bowl of popcorn, a glass of wine, water and chocolates, talk about 5 star service!! Candice and I had such a blast and got along well. I knew within 2 minutes of the trial that she was the MUA I needed to book for my big day! Candice was great at communicating with me leading up to my wedding and was flexible with changes to who was getting what done. Since there were so many of us getting makeup done, she brought her assistant Tara who was just as amazing! Everyone who got their makeup done (bridesmaids, moms, grandma) looked like a million bucks and were obsessed with our experience with Candice and Tara. And last but not least, Candice surprised me with a cute personalized makeup bag with my name on it that she left with me for the day for any touchups needed. She really thinks of every little tiny detail! When it came to price, Candice was pretty comparable to other MUA's in the area and they were all relatively the same in cost. But I can tell you if you are planning on shelling out the money to get makeup done, you want someone who is thoughtful and personable like Candice to take care of you! I cannot recommend Candice enough. I’m so picky about makeup so finding the perfect person to do mine on my wedding day was one of the main things that stressed me out. When I met Candice, I knew she was exactly who I was looking for. Not only is she a boss at her job but she’s kind, hilarious, outgoing and extremely professional. She has a unique way of making you feel beautiful while taking the wedding stress away as she does your makeup. I had a lot of last minute changes happen and as you can imagine that’s not exactly what a bride needs when her big day approaching, but Candice was very flexible and accommodating the whole time. I was rushing to get my makeup done bc hair took too long and she calmed everything down, and got to work! All through the day she made sure I and my bridesmaids looked our best! Felt gorgeous, peace protected!
The Society 11:11 team was professional, warm and kind throughout the entire process. In my initial meeting with Candice she assured me that her team is there not just to make the wedding party look their most beautiful, but to protect my peace on a stressful morning and make sure I’m well taken care of. That sold me! Her team did just that. They were fun and welcoming and made us all feel safe and heard in their prep chairs. Society 11:11 puts together a platform for the wedding party members to share their makeup/hair preferences and inspiration which made the morning go so much smoother than if we were deciding on the spot.
