After seeing Katie & the team crush it with my uncle and two brother’s weddings, we knew we had to go with Social Graces. Katie & her team were so easy to work with. They answered our questions, eased all of our worry about the process, and offered advice & suggestions when we got stuck.
Day of, Katie & her team were on top of it all. Helping with last minute things, keeping the schedule going, conquering our vision, and ensuring my wife & I had a few minutes to breathe after we said “I do”, shielding us from our eager guests. If you’re thinking of using a planner, look no further! -

Planning a wedding comes with a million decisions, and having Katie by our side made every single one feel manageable. From our very first conversation, she was calm, organized, and completely reassuring.
Katie has a gift for making the process feel easy. She always came prepared, kept us on track without ever making us feel rushed, and had a way of presenting options that made decision-making simple rather than stressful.
Throughout this process she felt like so much more than a wedding planner. She felt like a friend who had our best interests in mind and whose opinion we constantly sought out. We will miss working with the team and hope our paths cross again.

We are blown away by Katie and the Social Graces team. From our very first meeting, it felt like catching up with an old friend—there was an immediate level of comfort and ease. Throughout the entire planning process, Katie was incredibly professional and responsive. She was fantastic at communicating with our vendor team and handled every obstacle with confidence and poise. She made the logistics manageable for me as a bride-to-be who was also a full-time student.
Our wedding was originally set to be an indoor/outdoor event, but we had to pivot last minute to a fully indoor celebration due to the weather. Even though this changed a lot of details, I felt completely at ease knowing that Katie had everything under control. Our wedding turned out beautifully, and our guests had no idea the ceremony was ever supposed to be outdoors!
Another obstacle arose when our venue enforced a strict rule against our live painter using paint indoors. Katie was so creative—she worked with the artist to shift to colored pencil drawings so she could still capture the day inside. Watching Katie weave all of the elements of our design plan into reality was jaw-dropping. We were thrilled with how stunning everything looked and loved hearing praise from our friends and family about how much fun they had. Our wedding felt entirely true to us and our taste; Katie was great at listening to our ideas and concerns and making literal magic happen! I would recommend Katie and her team to anyone planning their big day. -

Fantastic experience, beginning to end!
Hiring Katie as our wedding planner was easily one of the best decisions that we made and we are so grateful to her for making our dream wedding come true - when my husband and I first started to think about wedding planning we were so overwhelmed by the sheer size of the task and realized pretty early in the process that we needed help. Once we hired Social Graces all that stress immediately disappeared - Katie made everything that we were worried about feel so manageable and it was clear from the get go that she knew what she was doing. She found us the perfect venue, handled all the communications with our vendors, crafted a design plan that fit perfectly with our vision for a fun, color drenched wedding, and so much more. On the wedding day itself, we were blown away by how seamlessly the day went and also how beautifully our design plan came together. It was so perfect that, in all honesty, part of me wishes we could get married again just so that we can relive that day. From end to end, working with Social Graces is seamless; Katie & her team are exceptional. In every interaction, she is thoughtful, proactive and considerate. Her communication with both fellow vendors and her couples is appropriately frequent. I’m never left wondering when I’ll get information, she’s always one step ahead of me.
Clearly she knows weddings like the back of her hand, there isn’t a stone left unturned or a detail neglected. It feels like she takes every opportunity to take a task or worry off of her couples’ plates. And her keen eye for design is reflected in every space from the ceremony florals to the dinner flatware.
Katie’s demeanor is professional, yet incredibly warm. She’s someone you can trust to execute, but also someone you feel compelled to hug. She has a way of effortlessly making a wedding day day lighter, smoother, and more celebratory. I can tell she derives true joy from and takes pride in her work. I strive to make my couples feel cared for and she consistently does the same.
As a wedding photographer, I’ve worked with countless planners. Many are fine, a few are good but greatness is a rarity. Katie is one of the rare!! I’d work with her for every wedding if it was up to me. I couldn’t recommend her more. -

I cannot begin to imagine our wedding without Katie from Social Graces. The best decision I made while planning was hiring her to execute our vision, because boy did she surpass it to throw the wedding of our dreams. My husband and I envisioned a wedding that was formal yet also a fabulous party, and Katie threaded the needle perfectly to throw us a rager that was also the epitome of class :). Katie had the best initial response to our inquiry, showing an energy and interest in planning our day that she maintained throughout the entire process. She goes above and beyond to do heavy lifting for her clients, which is crucial if you have a demanding job as I do and need someone paying close attention to timelines and details especially as you get close to the big day. Imagine your dream wedding, multiply it by 10, and that is the day Katie and her team will plan for you. -

Katie is the absolute best!
Where do I even start?!!? Katie is the absolute sweetest and most genuine human ever! I truly could not have done it without her - she really made my vision come to life. Our wedding was completely outdoors.. we had to bring in everything (tent, tables, lighting, etc.) and there were sooo many moving parts. Katie somehow juggled a million things at once and was so organized and on top of every detail at all times.
Katie was a life saver when we had to pivot to our rain back up plan with more back up tents, shifting plans, etc. and she handled it all so smoothly and made me feel reassured that the day would still be perfect. She seriously aways kept such a calm presence even if there were 500 things going on in the background.
I was so indecisive throughout the process, and she never once made me feel rushed… she was patient and always guided me to make the right decisions (or made the decision for me when I couldn’t decide lol). She is just the best!
Katie cared so much, went above and beyond, and made our day the most beautiful and stress-free day that i could've ever imagined. I’m still shook at how perfectly everything came together and truly couldn’t have done it without her. Not only was Katie the best wedding planner, but she honestly felt like family by the end. Katie (and her team) is one of a kind and I can’t recommend her enough. You will absolutely love working with her!!!! -

When I got engaged and we secured our wedding date for 21 months later, I thought I would be able to do everything myself and have enough time but as the days got closer I realized I needed a helping hand. I was recommended Social Grace’s by my photographer who gave rave reviews and as soon as I met with Katie, all my stressors were instantly gone. I truly don’t know what people do without a coordinator lol she was so on top of everything and kept the months leading up and wedding day so stress free. Stop your wedding planner/coordinator search now: you've found them. We hired Katie at Social Graces for month of coordination and the biggest regret of our wedding planning, is that we didn't hire her sooner. Katie is calm, positive, and from the moment of our first phone call, we knew we were in experienced hands. Katie truly went above and beyond to finalize the details of our wedding and execute our dreams beyond our wildest expectations. Our wedding truly felt perfect. Did everything go perfectly? I wouldn't know, because even if it did, Katie handled it. We had countless guests tell us the whole wedding felt seamless, which we can completely credit to Katie's work. Once the month-of work with Katie started, she helped to keep us on track, joined final vendor calls, and sent the most detailed vendor guide and day of timeline to keep everyone on track. She worked flawlessly with all of our vendors and venue coordinator. There are not enough words I could use to say how much we loved working with Katie and Social Graces. We would recommend her and her team to everyone thousands of times over! -

I cannot recommend Social Graces enough! Victoria was organized, communicative, and always thinking 2 steps ahead. She was also very flexible with all the last minute changes. Not a single detail was missed and I felt like a guest at my own wedding. She was also gracious enough to pickup and drop off all the supplies before and after the wedding which turned out to be a god send! Booking SG will be the best thing you do!

We hired Katie as our month-of coordinator and she was fantastic. I asked her so many questions and she responded quickly and with such kindness every single time. On the wedding day, she was our superhero. I had a meltdown at 7am about a mixup with our getting ready location? She was on it and communicated with the photographer to calm my fears. We realized at the venue that we forgot the vow books? She ran back to the hotel to get them. It started POURING rain and thundering right after the team finished setting up the beautiful tables and chairs for our outdoor ceremony and dinner? She was outside getting DRENCHED with the catering staff to put tarps over everything and helping re-set everything (totally dry!!!) incredibly fast. Multiple guests commented how impressed they were that there was so little delay when they had to flip and dry everything last minute. The caterer forgot to bring red wine for dinner? Katie ran to a local liquor store and bought 6 bottles of Malbec. We had it on the table before the toasts started. I cannot say enough good things about Katie. She was fabulous to work with and we would hire her again in a heartbeat. -

From the moment we had our intake with Katie to the final goodbye on our wedding night - it was absolutely amazing. She is so thorough, so kind and so on top of everything. Our wedding would not have been possible without Katie and the Social Graces Events team. From start to finish, Katie and her team understood our vision, our vibes, our personalities, our sense of humor, and most importantly, our absolutely unreasonable schedules, and worked with us to create and execute the wedding of our dreams. At the beginning of the process, we were busy with surgical residency and completing law school, and Katie made the wedding planning process a breeze in light of those taxing schedules and the little time that we had available to commit to our wedding plans. Katie turned our scattered vision of an upscale dinner party and intimate wedding into a reality that we could not have ever imagined ourselves. She coordinated seamlessly with curated vendors to bring a ceremony and reception to life that shocked both us and all of our guests. When we walked into the cocktail reception space and our tent at the Goodstone Inn, our jaws dropped at the gorgeous detail and the vision-come-to-life that Katie and her team had created. Along the way, Katie understood our sense of humor, neuroticism, and vision for the entire day. I remember seeing the master plan document that Katie had created weeks before our wedding -- I'm almost certain that it was more carefully curated and thought out than a CIA intelligence brief. After our wedding, we had many guests tell us wholeheartedly that they were "not just saying this to flatter, but it was the best wedding that they had ever attended." In all, Katie was the perfect wedding planner for us -- and became a truly trusted friend along the way. I'm not sure what else we could have asked for in this process. We would recommend Social Graces Events a million times over to anyone hoping to pull off the wedding of their dreams. We only wish that we could relive that party again and again. She has already become our designated family wedding planner and we can't wait to attend our brother and new sister's wedding as Katie takes over their planning process. -

I was about 5 months out from my wedding when I reached out to Katie from Social Grave Events. I was at the peak of wedding planning, feeling overwhelmed & felt I needed to hire someone to assist moving further. After my call with Katie, she assured me I was already ahead of the game and suggested I only needed to use her as a month or coordinator. I appreciated her honesty and not feeling like she was in it for money. However, after meeting Katie I wish I had hired her from the start because of how fun, creative, and sweet she is. I loved working with her in our short time together and couldn’t recommend her enough. I’m very type A and detail oriented so normally I would feel nervous passing off my planning and vision but I fully trusted Katie on my wedding day to make sure everything was exactly what I wanted, and it was! The Social Graces team is literally incredible, I don’t even know where to begin!!! Working with them was the best decision we made with our wedding! Everyone who interacted with them made a comment about how this was the best planner they’d ever seen in action, and they wish they had someone like Katie & her team for their wedding. Everyone on the team is so incredibly sweet and helpful. First, they made sure I had realistic expectations of what I was going to spend for the wedding I wanted before we even hired them, and then made sure we stayed on budget. They only showed me vendors within my budget and every vendor they recommended was absolutely incredible. Katie was always available when we needed her and helped us make decisions when the decision fatigue started to set in. Then the design plan and execution OH MY WORD!!! It was literally incredible, it took my breath away. I couldn’t believe it was MY wedding! All our guests were saying how much fun the reception was and how stunning the space was. Social Graces made sure we spent our money in the right places for maximum impact and made the wedding look even more expensive than it was. And the stress they took away on the day of so we could just have fun…. It was amazing. We can’t thank them enough!!! -

Working with Katie is ALWAYS a pleasure!!! I am a wedding photographer and know from experience that a quality wedding planner can totally transform your wedding day. She’s truly one of my favorite planners to collaborate with. Her calm demeanor under pressure and seamless coordination make wedding days flow effortlessly. Katie ensures that every couple she works with is happy, all while being incredibly supportive and not overbearing. Her attention to detail in managing all the vendors is incredible. Katie is an absolute miracle worker. My husband and I got married at my family’s farm - it’s my favorite place in the world and having all of our loved ones there was so special to us. I knew I would need a lot of help to plan the wedding because the farm is in a remote location and planning a private residence wedding is no easy feat. Enter Katie. We used Katie’s full planning services and I could not imagine our day without her. Katie is a walking wedding encyclopedia - she had answers to every tiny logistical question I had (there were many). She has the most beautiful eye for design, incorporating personal details to make our day feel so special. She went through many iterations to make sure my vision came to life. She helped us find vendors all over the DMV to travel to the farm. Katie is also just wonderful to be around. Our monthly planning sessions felt like coffee with a super organized friend and I miss them dearly! Katie brings the perfect balance of excited and calm energy - she is somehow both infectiously joyful and solidly unflappable. You can tell how much Katie cares about each of her couples, she poured her whole self into our whole wedding planning process. As a self-admitted control freak, I didn’t know if I’d be able to fully let go even after a hiring a wedding planning but with Katie I was 100% confident she’d do everything in her power to make our day perfect. Because of Katie, I was able to relax and enjoy my day completely and focus on marrying the love of my life. My one piece of wedding advice would be to do yourself a favor and work with Katie!!! -

The BEST Wedding Planner in the Business!
Katie is a wedding lifesaver! She is responsive, diligent, organized and professional. She kept me feeling calm & laughing throughout the 6 months before our wedding, helping me sort through my ideas and select rentals. Before the wedding, Katie attended our venue walk-through, communicated with all of our vendors and ensured everyone was on the same page. On the day of the wedding, I was blown away by how Katie turned everything we had talked about into reality. She set up the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to look more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. I truly don't know how she got it all done! We were able to relax & enjoy the day with our guests while Katie kept everything running smoothly according to the timeline.
Katie's assistant Clara was also kind and personable. She made everyone in our families/bridal party feel heard, and they're still telling me how much they loved Clara.
We cannot recommend Social Graces enough! If you want a stress-free wedding planning experience and to be free to enjoy & be present on your wedding day, you need Katie! -

Katie was so extremely knowledgeable about our venue and handled everything with our vendors leading up to the wedding, providing us a template of to-do items so not a single detail was missed. We also selected the additional concierge service and Clara was so kind and helpful the entire morning as the wedding party members got ready - from grabbing breakfast/lunch items to steaming dresses! So many of our wedding party members complimented the entire team's calmness and professional demeanor the entire day, which helped keep everyone else's nerves in check! I decided to hire Katie about two minutes into our first phone call. I had interviewed a few other wedding planners, and they had all painted a beautiful picture of what our wedding weekend could look like, but Katie was the first to understand that we cared more about how the events would FEEL to us and to our guests. Our priority was to plan a wedding that would be authentic and meaningful to us; we wanted the design to serve as a backdrop, rather than a centerpiece, for those moments of connection. Katie embraced that vision from day one, and she never lost sight of it over the eighteen months that followed. The resulting events were STUNNING and — more importantly — so much fun. A few things that made working with Katie so special (in no particular order):
- She approached every one of our harebrained ideas with a “yes, and” attitude. When I decided to design our invitations myself because I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted online? She offered stylistic feedback and shared my delight when I found a printer who would paint the edges of my invitations gold. When my husband decided he wanted a horse for his baraat (an idea we later - praise be - scrapped)? She reached out to seemingly every horse rental outfit (???) on the eastern seaboard for a quote. When I told her I was going to learn to use a cricut so that I could DIY a four-by-six foot crossword puzzle for our reception? She didn’t blink — just added it to the design plan.
- That said, Katie isn’t a yes man. There were a few instances where my husband or I had an idea that should never have seen the light of day, and Katie ever-so-gently pointed out the various ways in which that idea conflicted with our stated values, our established budget, or the laws of physics.
- Katie was always responsive (despite having birthed a whole HUMAN BEING during the time we were planning our wedding) but never overbearing. She was organized, persistent (a must throughout 2022, when most vendors required weeks of follow-up to answer a simple email), and clear in every communication.
- Katie managed our three-day wedding with her trademark cheerful confidence and calm efficiency. Our immediate families and bridal party — who had the privilege of seeing her work all weekend — were absolutely dazzled, as were we, by her ingenuity and situational awareness. (One example of the latter: she saw us heading outside for sunset photos and followed us with a crate of leftover petals from our ceremony, just in case our photographer needed them for a shot.) It occurs to us that there are probably dozens of little things that went wrong last weekend that Katie handled before we had a chance to notice. She coordinated a million moving parts beautifully and allowed us to focus on really being present and enjoying every moment with our loved ones.
Katie is now a fixture in our lives and e-mail inboxes, and we look forward to harassing her to hang out with us for years and years to come. -

Our wedding planning process was a bit of a tornado with a major venue change, vendor cancellations and hundreds of back and forth emails over two full years of planning. She executed everything flawlessly while also making sure our families were able to add their own little touches - my dad owns the rental company that put up our tent for the day and she stood back and let him fuss with the tent, knowing it would make him feel better to be in control of this small thing. Where Katie truly went above and beyond though was leaving our reception to drive to my parents house to get me an alternate dress when my dress broke during cocktail hour. The Wedding Planner you Need for your Wedding Day
I got engaged back in October 2020 and Social Graces was the first vendor that I hired (and I am SO glad I did!). After my initial call with Katie, I knew that she was the wedding planner I wanted to work with based on her professionalism and kind demeanor. I hired Katie as a "month of" wedding planner as well as added the wedding concierge option for the morning of the wedding. Throughout our whole process of working with Katie, she was on top of every detail. And even though she hadn't worked at our venue before, she put us at ease those final weeks leading up to our big day when they normally would be the most stressful.
Katie also didn't hesitate going to bat for us when our venue was being unresponsive or tried to charge us extra when we found out it was going to rain on our wedding day and wanted to move our ceremony space inside. After having our wedding at the venue we chose, I can tell that they were not the easiest to work with the day of the wedding but Katie and Victoria never let us know and handled everything that was thrown their way. If I didn't have them, I would have been so much more stressed and not been able to enjoy the most important day of my life.

Katie and the entire Social Graces team are absolutely phenomenal. From the moment I talked to Katie on the phone, I knew I wanted her to help bring my wedding to life. I hired Social Graces for month-of coordination, but Katie started working on my wedding well in advance of a month! She was extremely supportive and helpful throughout my entire engagement and in the months leading up to my wedding. About 2 months prior, she scheduled a venue walkthrough and consultation that made me feel SO confident in her and in the execution of our wedding. She created a master timeline that she sent to us and all of our vendors, and she took over all communication with my vendors for the last month- it was amazing! I was so stressed until Katie stepped in and helped me to feel at ease. Katie ran our rehearsal the evening before and exuded confidence, grace, and kindness. She knew exactly what she was doing, she grabbed the attention of a 22 person bridal party with absolute ease, and we were able to get through everything ahead of schedule! On our wedding day, Katie and Maura made sure every detail was PERFECT. They arrived early in the day, grabbed all of my detail items to give to my photographer, and absolutely crushed my vision for our ceremony and reception area. The main reason I wanted a coordinator is so that I did not have to worry about set up or clean up- and that the tasks wouldn't fall on my family and friends. I am SO happy I hired Social Graces, because they literally took care of everything! Katie and Maura set up all of my decorations, coordinated with all of my vendors, kept us on track with our timeline, made sure my hair stayed in place for photos, threw my veil in the air for those epic veil shots, and cleaned up everything at the end of the night! Katie is extremely organized, professional, easy going, and FUN! I really cannot imagine our wedding day without her. Thanks to Katie and Social Graces, I had an extremely stress-free wedding day and was able to spend time with my groom, friends, and family without worrying about all of the other things!
