Jubal and Pastor Ken was amazing at the ceremony and our photographer Payum was great and we loved working everyone. It was simple, elegant, and was stress free. Highly recommended!!!! Thank you all!!!
The cost was perfect!!!! Everything that ours included was great! We upgraded the arch for $150 which was reasonable. We did elopement style and it was super simple! Just us and the officiant and photographer and wedding day coordinator. -

Wedding of our dreams ❤️
We are so glad we found Socal Vows and had the wedding of our dreams! We chose the highest package that included florals and photographer and it was worth every penny. We got married at the wedding bowl and it was absolutely breathtaking, it was literally the venue of my dreams. The photographer being included made it so much easier on all fronts, he was organized, kind, patient and made all of our wants a reality. Anytime I called texted or emailed, they quickly responded and gave me the information I needed. They will make all your wedding dreams, come true and make it so easy throughout the process. We had our wedding on February 1st at the wedding bowl and are so glad we used SoCalVows. From the very beginning of our planning stages they were on on top of all communication and kept up with all of our questions. We were very nervous about everything because we live in Arizona and wasn't sure how a destination wedding would go. Penjo was absolutely amazing and made everything easy. After every phone call we had with her, both my wife and looked at each other and said how grateful we are for her.
The wedding went better than imagined. They were so organized and made sure everything went smoothly and everyone knew what to do.
We looked at other places at first and glad we chose SoCalVows. I'll say this, out of all the decisions we made for our wedding, this was the best one! -

From the beginning of contacting them they were extremely helpful and professional. They made contact with us and from that point on made sure to keep us in the loop on everything and continuously communicated with us till the moment of the actual wedding. Penjo and the SoCalVows team are awesome and turned out to be a total blessing for my husband and I. From initial contact, they were very polite, quick to respond, and flexible. We spoke back and forth for almost 3 months before we actually signed the contract, but I never felt pressured. They were willing to answer any questions, offer recommendations for services they don't provide, and they were very understanding and flexible of our budget and vision.
Penjo was so sweet and helpful, I called her my "God given auntie". The team gave me updates and reminders over time and the day of went so smooth because of their preparation. They allowed me to make and bring all of our own decor, and just have one of my people display it. SoCalVows helped give us our dream day. Thank you to them again. -

If you’re planning this wedding outside of California, book with them! They made everything so easy on us and it turned out even better than we could imagine. We asked for succulents for our flowers, which no one had requested yet, and they blew out expectations out of the water. -

I am absolutely in love with Socal Vows. Absolutely extraordinary service from day one when we sent the email to ask questions. They worked tirelessly with my constant questions and found us the perfect location and time for our vision of a sunset wedding in the sand. They sent emails of everything we needed to get done to keep us on track so we didn't lose our minds and set up phone calls to touch base throughout the process. Everything and everyone was absolutely flawless and perfect. The process was seamless due to their highly efficient staff and structure. As a bride, I had zero stress because they handled everything. The photographer and the florist had exquisite work. I cannot say enough positive words about everyone involved from beginning to end. This was our second marriage and we wanted it to be small and intimate, a special moment for our children and us to become one family. Thanks to Socal Vows, they made it happen. I am in tears just writing this because I have never been so in awe of a business. They make you feel special and appreciated and heard. We have absolutely zero complaints, not even a small adjustment. Our wedding day was so magical for all of us and everyone adored our special day. It all came to life and was exactly what we wanted because of Socal Vows. I wish we could do it over and over, we have been non stop talking about it since. I just had to share my amazing experience with SoCalVows wedding company for my special event! Seriously, I can't sing their praises enough. Their expertise and dedication made everything a breeze.
Let me tell you about Penjo – not only did she flawlessly plan my event, but she also stepped up as our Day-of Coordinator. We were blown away by her skills and attention to detail, so we gladly paid extra to have her on board. While we know SoCalVows has other fantastic coordinators, Penjo was just the perfect fit for us.
Throughout the planning process, Penjo and the team, including Fina, Joy, and Leng, showed nothing but professionalism, creativity, and a total commitment to bringing my vision to life.
On the big day, the team was incredible! Everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to kick back and soak in every moment without stressing over the details. Pastor Ken delivered a ceremony that had everyone talking, and the music was spot-on.
I can't recommend SoCalVows wedding company enough to anyone looking for an exceptional, all-inclusive service. They truly made our day magical! -

Perfect team made my perfect day
We had SoCal vows do our whole ceremony package! Officiant, photographers, set up, floral, coordinator and everything you can ever need for a wedding ceremony!
I would highly recommend SoCal vows for your wedding. Penjo was amazing throughout the process from start to finish and assisted day of coordination for the day. Everything looked beautiful and worked out great! So many hands on which made the day helpful. Our photographer Dave was absolutely amazing! We got our photos back and they are ABSOLUTELY stunning, ask for Dave for your photographer! He knew exactly what he was doing!
One thing I would like to add is for the ceremony our officiant did not let us read our personal vows, he also pronounced my name wrong in the beginning of the ceremony in which a couple guests have brought that to my attention. We have had at least 3 conversations with many emails back and fourth regarding our wants at the ceremony and we thought everything was clear but during the ceremony Paul continued on a long monologue instead of letting us do personal vows. We were upset with this but nothing we could do now. I would suggest having the officiant actually at the rehearsal so everyone can be on the same page.

I can not say enough amazing things about Socal Vows. They truly made my ceremony like a fairytale. It was absolutely stunning and beautiful. Everyone was so easy to work with and they were so kind. They truly cared and made every effort to make us happy.

We had a fantastic ceremony at Windansea with SoCal vows in October 2022. A special thank you to SoCal Vows for ordering up a beautiful sunset, glassy waves, and a slight sea breeze. ;) A beach wedding was our dream.
We only planned our big day about 2.5 months out, so we appreciated all of the quick coordination to make our wedding ceremony a priority. Penjo helped us coordinate the perfect small ceremony and provided great communication about all of the details we needed over email, phone, and also day-of via text messages. She is very kind, compassionate, and available to answer calls and emails if you need some extra questions answered.
The ceremony itself was casual and fun-- just the way we wanted it! We had only 19 guests in a standing ceremony. The officiant, Ken, did an excellent job. He's kind and charismatic, and made the experience enjoyable and light, just as a wedding should be. We'd spoken to him on the phone two times prior to the wedding, and he was able to capture the right spirit for our ceremony and our personalities. Our guests all commented on what a great job he did officiating -- he made it feel personal and special to us!
Our photographer, David, was also wonderful to work with. He was friendly and made the whole photography experience comfortable and fun for us.
If you are looking for a beach ceremony (or ceremony elsewhere), look no further! -

A perfect ceremony that was well coordinated and went off without any problems!
We had the most perfect day on the La Jolla Beach with our ceremony thru SoCal Vows. The communication from the beginning to end was excellent and they payed attention to every detail to insure everything went as planned. We did not have an event coordinator for our reception, so it was so nice to put our complete trust into SoCal Vows for the ceremony. They were patient as we helped our moms to the beach and for the wedding party to arrive. They place all our girt bags on the guests seats and pointed us in the direction as to orchestrate the entire production so we didn’t have to even think about the me mechanics of the ceremony. Wel done and met every expectation. -

SoCalVows is an awesome company. Super easy to work with, affordable, and just great service. It was so easy and stress free to plan and organize our wedding because of SoCalVows. We did the beach wedding at Sunset Cliffs, and we absolutely loved it. We used their photographer, their officiant, their flower vendor, and the wooden chairs, and chair drapes. All in, it cost us around $3,000 for a ceremony with 30 guests, which is a fantastic price.
Our officiant, Pastor Ken, was excellent. He was extremely accommodating, even when we changed the ceremony plans the day before the wedding! He was able to add a unity ceremony to the proceeding without any hiccups. He gave a great speech about love and marriage, and included a lot of personal details about our relationship from the conversations that we had with him. Many of our guests commented on how nice and personal the ceremony was.
We worked with Penjo throughout the process of planning the wedding. She was extremely helpful and patient with us as we decided on chairs, flowers, etc. She was always quick to respond when we had questions. Penjo was also the day-of coordinator for our ceremony and she was really on top things. She orchestrated everything perfectly and dealt with delays like a professional. The bridal party definitely noticed how organized she was and made the whole ceremony run smoothly.
I highly recommend SoCalVows to anyone looking to do a beach wedding in the San Diego area. They are a fantastic service, and even though I don’t need to get married again, I would definitely use them again if I ever needed another beach ceremony!

I found SoCal Vows after our wedding was postponed due to COVID. I originally had found another company that also specialized in beach weddings. However, during the pandemic, this company ended up closing. I actually found SoCal Vows while searching for reviews on another company. The reviews were so good that I contacted them. Penjo has been so responsive and has answered all my questions. I usually get responses back very quickly and even late at night from her. We wanted a small intimate wedding on the beach, and they provided everything we needed. It would have cost so much more to outsource all the vendors. We decided to book with SoCal Vows and put down our deposit. The process was so easy, and they helped us plan everything we needed. They really take the stress out of planning a wedding and provide you with a lot of helpful information. Our officiant was Luis and he contacted us early on so he could go over the process and for us to get to know him and vice versa. Luis is a really nice guy who explained everything to us. He was fantastic at the wedding and we are so happy he officiated us. SoCal Vows was very organized on the day of the wedding and everything went off without any issues. We had an amazing ceremony at Sunset Cliffs. My mom passed away and I had a chair in her honor as well as a bouquet charm with her picture on it. The photographer and videographer were very conscience of this and made sure to get pictures and video of these items in her honor. They were very sensitive to this and I appreciated the attention they gave to honoring my late mother. We got married a little before sunset and our pictures and video turned out amazing! The photographs and video are one of the only pieces you take away from a wedding and we have some great photos and video to always have as memories. I would highly recommend SoCal Vows to anyone getting married or wanting to do a vow renewal, they are fantastic! -

After my husband and I got engaged, we were overwhelmed with the idea of wedding planning. We knew we wanted a beach wedding, but we didn’t even know where to start. We stumbled upon SoCal Vows and hiring them was the best decision we could have made. After selecting one of their wedding packages, they started working on our permits, connected us with one of their officiants, connect us with their floral team, helped us get our marriage license, connected us with their photographer, provided all the day-of set up, and sent us emails throughout the process of what you should be working on as the day approaches. We got to choose our wedding theme and colors, as well as prelude, processional, and exit music. The only thing we had to schedule on our own was transportation to the wedding, and one of their first coordinator emails suggested a list of local businesses that could assist with this. If you are planning to get married in Southern California, make your life easy and hire SoCal Vows. We are so happy with the wedding they planned for us and would 10/10 recommend. -

I found So Cal Vows on the internet. Our wedding coordinator was Penjo who was amazing and funny. They have amazing packages to choose from. I was very particular about certain things for my wedding and a little skeptical about choosing a company I found on the internet and planning everything over the phone. However, Penjo and her staff made sure my day was perfect and PERFECT it was. I was in disbelief when I arrived to the site and seen the set up I couldn't believe they had created my dream Hawaii wedding on the beaches of La Jolla. A HUGE thank you to Amanda, the on site wedding coordinator who made sure everything flowed the day of the wedding. Greta or Greta D Photography for capturing the most amazing pictures. You should really call Greta if you want someone with a true gift of photography. MOST of all THANK YOU PENJO... for all the special touches and for selecting all the perfect people to make this truly my DREAM wedding!
We were married on October 16th, 2021 on the beaches of La Jolla.
Our officiant was Luis Osuna. He was referred to us through So Cal Vows. I was quite nervous having an officiant selected for our wedding without ever meeting them. My nerves were calmed when I received the first email from Luis Osuna. :) He was a breath of fresh air from the moment I read his email. Next we met via zoom and we knew the moment we saw Luis he was the perfect fit. He glows with kindness and sincerity it was beautiful. It was very important to me that our officiant fit our personalities. He asked questions like how we met, what things first attracted us to each other , what qualities we love about each other etc.. The day of our wedding he captivated our guests. He had them laughing and crying at the same time! The only regret I have is that we didn't get a chance to take a picture with Luis at our wedding. :( I highly recommend Luis if you are looking for that personal touch. He really cares about making your day perfect! Thank you Luis!

50 year vow renewal!
Socal Vows was an absolute dream to work with! Trying to plan a last minute intimate 50 year vow renewal (in the middle of a pandemic) from the east coast for my parents was an intimidating feat.... knowing only that we will be vacationing in southern California but not knowing the area at all. But Penjo and her team put me at ease and recommended a breathtaking location in Dana Point easily accessible for my eldery parents, provided the most caring officiant Ken and a photographer Xavier that risked his life for the perfect photo. It was beautiful, intimate, and everything my mom asked for. Wonderful memories were made and looking back brings me to tears. Highly recommend Socal Vows for anyones wedding or vow renewal celebrations! They are the BEST! -

Amazing experience!
We planned our wedding event in about 6 weeks! Our experience with SoCal was incredible, starting from the little details, to the biggest details. Penjo was always answering all of my questions, guiding me into helping me decide. I never had any issues with SoCal events. Our wedding was gorgeous, we had a sunset wedding and it is an extra $300 pay, but it is definitely worth it! The whole team that SoCal provides for us is incredible! Our photographer Xavier was also really profesional, helpful, and our photos were OUTSTANDING! I would highly recommend SoCal events if you want an intimate, loving and gorgeous event!
Penjo is now my bestie!!!!! Lol thank you so much SoCal events for all your dedication and time to make our day an unforgettable one! -

Perfect, and stress free wedding
My husband and I can’t say enough great things about SoCal Vows. We spontaneously decided to get married at the end of April and they were able to plan everything for our perfect day in one month. The planning process was so easy and Penjo was always there to answer any questions I had through the phone or text. All we had to do was pick out our outfits and show up. They made us feel relaxed and taken care of. Pastor Paul made our vows fun and personal. Alexa is an amazing photographer and we were so happy with how our pictures turned out. The floral team (I’m so sorry I don’t remember the name) designed the most gorgeous flowers for the arch as well as a beautiful bouquet. Everything was absolutely perfect and if you want a stress free wedding give SoCal Vows a call, they are definitely worth it! -

Our Beach Wedding: April 11 2021
Coming from someone who has to be 100% in control I can honestly say I'm so thankful for Ken and his team for going above and beyond our expectations. From the moment we booked up until the day of the wedding their communication super responsive and clarified any questions that had come up. They took the time to get to know us personally and it definitely reflected within our ceremony. SoCal Vows did an amazing job helping us plan an intimate event on the beach. They fit us in on a popular day (10/10/2020) and impressed with a beautiful ceremony and great pictures. Beach wedding
Ken and Penjo with Socal Vows did an amazing job with our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better ceremony! I always dreamed of a beach wedding and I'm so glad we chose Socal Vows to make it happen. Everything was stress free and it all came together so well. They were both very communicative over both text and emails. Ken was an awesome Officiant. We were able to tell him what we wanted and he spoke like he'd known us for years. When none of your firends have their ordination to marry couples, Ken is the friend that can officiant your wedding!
To those soon to be newlyweds, especialy those like me who do not have a friend who can be an afficiant at your wedding, Ken is who you would want to have! My grandmother refered me, as she had such a great expeirnce too. All my guests thought that Ken, our officiant at SoCal Vows, was a friend of ours and that we knew him, even though that was the first time we had met him! And it really did feel like he knew us all along, that just goes to show how much effort and attention to detail he goes to create this special moment that was truely unique to us and our relationship. He created a timeline of how our relationship blossumed into what it is today.
He caters to you, the couple, and walks you step by step through the whole ceremony process. Yes! Meaning the vows, the I do's, different unity ceremonies, and really everything! He brings out laughter, joy, tears, and there was never a dull moment! I believe it is also important to say that he was professional, punctual and very attentive to our emails. -

Closest Thing To Hawaii For Us
Socal Vows exceeded my expectations. My wife and I originally were supposed to renew our vows (10 year anniversary) in Hawaii, but due to restrictions we had to settle for something local. Last minute planning and coordinating, my wife was able to contact Ken and for the amount of time we had he did a superb job! First, location was prime. I almost felt like I was in Hawaii minus the blue ocean & humidity! Decor was excellent as well. The arch, flowers and setup was elegant. The ceremony itself was planned. This was my first time meeting Ken and I truly felt his personal pleasant spirit. He conducted the ceremony with ease and even kinda made me cry during our vow exchange (probably because of the wife’s words tho, but he set the tone for it nonetheless lol). Oh ya, even the music was planned so eloquently. Apart from my 4 little girls (one close to terrible 2’s) being distracted by the sand and bugs, the ceremony couldn’t have gone any smoother than I could have ever imagined. Ken and his wife know their stuff and it shows. What’s nice is you can tell he really lives for the connection and unity between husband and life. Just speaking with him after the ceremony about life and family he truly cares about humanity and positivity in this thing we call life. It’s a little something we all need especially during these weird times. Keep doing what you doing Socal Vows! Doing great. -

Ken was an incredible officiant! He was very communicative and knowledgable throughout the entire process. It was a completely stress-free experience! Despite never having met Ken in person until I saw him at the altar, he personalized our service and made it unique to us. My husband and I felt like he had known us forever. He even put his own spin on our unity ceremony, which we loved! He also recommended the perfect spot and timing for our beach wedding. Ken Hoelscher of SoCal Vows is sincere, delightful, and incredibly supportive. Our elopement to Paris was canceled because of COVID. We still wanted to get married on the special day we had chosen. I had called several officiants and left messages. Then I called SoCal Vows and Ken answered. He talked to me at length, suggested a beautiful location, and was able to provide a photographer. He researched times to take advantage of sunset and called me back after he checked when high tide would be so that we could make the needed timing adjustment for our beach wedding. On our special day, he arrived early and told me not to rush. He performed a lovely and very personalized ceremony. The photographer was delightful and the pictures turned out fabulous. Ken will forever be part of our special day and we are so very grateful for that. -

San Diego Intimate Ceremony
Ken was great!!! We traveled from Louisville KY, to San Diego for our wedding. Knowing no one and nothing about the area, we only had reviews to base decisions on.
Ken reaches out multiple times over the months leading up to the wedding, and more frequently the couple weeks leading up to the wedding.
He captured the intimate ceremony I wanted. He read through the details I sent him, understood it, and put his on personal touch on it as well, making our day, honestly the perfect day, and BEST day of my life.
I could go on and on, do yourself a favor and pick Ken!!! -

Ken was great! He was extremely informative and communicative via email and took the time to find out more about my future husband and myself and weaved that information into the ceremony seamlessly. He was quick-witted, open to my suggestions, and just very easy to talk to. We had a tiny bit of time to chat before the ceremony, but during the ceremony, it felt like he had known us for a very long time! He kept it quick (but not rushed), funny but not corny, and tapped into the emotions of the moments. Would definitely recommend! -

Ken is awesome. My husband and I booked an AirBnB in Julian and on a whim decided to elope, just the 2 of us. With only one month notice, Ken didn't miss a step in quickly getting to know our history. His questions were thought-provoking, forcing us to sit down and think about the things that really brought us together. I feel like it brought us even closer as a couple at a time when I thought we couldn't get any closer! Ken also made sure to let us know about the paperwork aspect and timing of the marriage license - so thankful for that!
When it came to the day, everything was perfect. Ken showed up right on time to our AirBnB and had a nice chat with my husband while I finished getting ready. One of the best parts about SoCal Vows is that they offer a photographer. Ken's photographer, Panjo, accompanied him and was really great as well. She was really sweet and even helped me with my dress! Our ceremony was flawless. Ken's speech about our history together as a couple was beautiful. I feel he went above and beyond to make our day really special. I can't stress enough how pleased we were with SoCal Vows and Ken as our officiant! We wouldn't change a thing! -

Ken is Amazing!!
Ken was absolutely amazing. From my first contact with him, he was super helpful with all my questions, guided me and my husband on how to write vows, what kind of ceremony we wanted, any little question we had he was very quick to answer.
The day of the ceremony was perfect! Ken arrived early, checked in with the bride and groom, and helped ease a little of the nervous butterflies.
I would highly recommend Ken for any type of ceremony you are looking for!

Oh my gosh so check this out!!! Ken LITERALLY saved our wedding. About 3-4 days before our big day, our original officiant kind of let us down, and so we were without an officiant. i was desperately looking for one along with my wife, fianxe at the time, and all the officiants we messaged kept saying it was too early of a notice for them or that they were booked and we both thought "Well. This is it. :(" and by some miracle, KEN REPLIED!! He said it wouldn't be a problem and that he would match the price of our last officiant since we had the money put aside for him, and he rode down on his majestic and beautiful Harley Davidson like the the Ghost Rider ( but the nice, angel Ghost Rider lol ) and waited patiently for us to get our things set up and even helped with the set up itself! We both had never been married before or ever attended one so we had NO IDEA what to do, but there was our Hero Ken guiding all along the way, showing us step by step what to do literally MINUTES before it started. He literally went ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU KEN!!!! Im going to make my brothers use you and all of my friends use your wonderful services on their big days!!! -

Ken is absolutely amazing!! We got married last year and after a issue with our original officiant we contacted him. It was last minute and he truly saved us. We were terrified we wouldn't be able to find someone but he came to the rescue. Not only that but he worked with our budget and read and got to know our story well and did an amazing job at sharing it with our friends and family. I got to married on the 13th of October, Ken was our officiant for the big day. When I inquired with him he was very nice and gave me all the information I could possibly need.
His pricing is very affordable. If you are wanting a ceremony Rehearsal before the big day make sure you inform him so that he has it in his calendar and can give you an accurate price!
He was very professional. If you are getting married I highly recommend Ken as your officiant!
