    My planner was AMAZING

    I cannot say enough good things about Grace from So Eventful. She was an absolute lifesaver for my wedding! From start to finish, Grace was thorough, organized, and detail-oriented in every way. She planned everything down to the last detail and followed through on every conversation, even remembering things I mentioned offhand. Her responsiveness was incredible—if I needed something, she was there, and when I told her the type of services I was looking for, she would come back the next week with three vendor quotes, fully detailed with pricing and options.

    She seamlessly handled all communication with the venue and vendors, which took an immense load off my plate. Grace had a massive, meticulously organized spreadsheet that tracked every single task associated with the wedding, and she stayed on top of me to ensure I was on schedule for invitations, dress fittings, and choosing my bridal party.

    On the day of the wedding, Grace went above and beyond, even stopping by my house to pick up last-minute items and setting them up herself at the venue. She was truly wonderful and took so much stress out of the day. I can confidently say I would not have been able to pull off such an amazing wedding without her. I wholeheartedly recommend Grace and So Eventful to anyone planning a wedding—you'll be in the best hands!

    Grace Rice - the best gal out there!!!!

    Our wedding was the best day of our entire lives and we owe so much of that to our wedding planner and friend, Grace Rice. Somehow, Grace is the most organized person we have ever met while also being calm, cool, and collected at all times. We enjoyed and looked forward to every meeting with her. Grace took our vision, our ideas, our personalities, and helped create a beautiful day that truly felt seamless. We were both able to fully enjoy our day and we are so grateful for that. The details, the timeline, the vibes!!!! Grace is the gal that you want running the show :)

    Thank you to So Eventful for pairing us with Grace and for setting us up for success with a package that worked for us. They were quick to respond and very easy to work with. It has been 2 months since our wedding and we still get butterflies reminiscing about it.

    BEST Wedding planning company with the BEST planner!

    Oh... where do I even begin?!? It's only been a few days, and we are still relishing from all the fun festivities this past weekend. Megan Steele was our wedding planner, and she was of the best out there. Truly.

    I found SoEventful through theknot.com when I was starting to plan, reached out to have an intro call and immediately connected with Megan. It wasn't even necessary to check on other wedding planning companies or interview other planners cuz I was so sure she'd do a great job. Oh and SoEventful's motto is for you to attend your own event as a guest. Boy, did Megan deliver on that one completely!

    I'm sure all of the other wedding planners at SoEventful are just as amazing, but... if we were to ever have an event in the future up in Sonoma County, I will be calling on Megan again. Why? Well, she is super professional in a way I can't describe. She is such a good fit for this type of work since it's intense (deadlines to be met, getting vendors on board etc) and yet she stays calm throughout. It was just what I needed along the entire way since her calmness only affects others in a good way. And now, I have only memorable thoughts of the entire planning process and the wedding itself of course. Our wedding was stunning, and I owe that in large part to her meticulousness in getting all those details ironed out. There is no way our wedding would have been the way it was without Megan. She had answers to all my questions leading up to the wedding and then had ideas she shared that I will treasure forever. Simple things like on the day of our wedding - she asked us to snap a Polaroid and start our guest book. What a cute and endearing idea. It set the tone for the wedding - that we are there to enjoy our own wedding! And beyond that, we didn't have to think about anything other than have fun at our own wedding. Wow.

    And indicative to the type of person Megan is, I truly miss working with her. Isn't that what we all hope for after having a big event? Megan is the best, and I hope to cross paths will her soon. Hoping another party is in our future so I can work with her :)

    Taylor & Meghan are the BEST!

    We just got married in Healdsburg - Taylor Lyons, Meghan Magnasco, and the So Eventful team were INCREDIBLE!

    They made the entire process seamless and stress free. Super organized, attentive, with great energy.

    There wasn't a single moment where we felt stressed and this was due to Taylor and Meghan. This also includes the day of the wedding - they made sure the day was fun, relaxing, and eliminated any worries / last minute stresses that can come along with a wedding.

    Highly knowledgeable with vendor recommendations (Taylor's expertise about local vendors helped us save a lot of $$$), unique requirements of our venue (Montage), and got ahead of needs we didn't know we even had (like parasols for our guests to stay cool!).

    We could not be more grateful for Taylor and Meghan - outside of the value they brought to our wedding, they're both awesome humans with a contagious, positive energy.

    Rehearsal Dinner for 150

    I have to give a major shout out to So Eventful and Megan S. I am the mother of the groom. Initially I had selected a venue and booked it in my own. I throw a lot of parties at my home in New York and thought I could easily plan this event without any assistance from a planner. However, early on I recognized that hosting an event across the country in wine country California required feet on the ground. I reached out to and hired So Eventful. Planner Megan S. was assigned to me. Wow - I have been so fortunate ! From the onset she was spot on with her ideas, advice and organization. She created a to do list and kept me on task at all times. Megan assisted with selection of chairs, linens, candles, florals, menu, transportation, etc., etc. I have not yet hosted the event as it is at the end of June but have no doubt it will be incredible because of her expertise.     Jessi was amazing

    We worked with Jessi P. for our wedding at Tre Posti, in St. Helena (09/15/22). Words cannot describe how amazing Jessi was, but we will try our best in this review. First and foremost, the communication leading up to the wedding was amazing. She was very descriptive and detailed on the exact things she needed from us. Her organization skills were on point. There was never a doubt as to whether we were on track leading up to the big day. Now, when we say she exceeded expectations on wedding day, that is NOT an exaggeration. We knew having a wedding planner would be helpful (day of) but we had no idea it would mean we did not have to worry about A SINGLE DETAIL during the ENTIRE day. That was amazing. She was seemingly everywhere at once. The wedding ran buttery smooth. We cannot recommend Jessi enough!

    Fantastic Team!

    Bailey and her team at So Eventful are absolutely amazing to work with! I am writing from a vendor's perspective (Bellarosa String Quartet). I work with Bailey "behind the scenes" via email, phone, and on the day of the event. Timeline and details are well executed which creates a very smooth event that flows with ease (not stress). This is key for a happy wedding day :)

    Highly recommend!

    I was lucky enough to have Taylor as my wedding planner for my wedding on October 15, 2022 and I can’t recommend her enough.

    We decided to get married on a relatively short timeline of 5 months, and from the start Taylor was off to the races, making sure that within a couple of weeks we had the big vendors sorted out so that we knew that the event was a go. Taylor’s communication and organization skills were impeccable throughout, making it easy to collaborate on all of the different decisions that needed to be made. Somehow not a single action item ever escaped her!

    The event was magical, and I felt so fortunate that I had Taylor there, so that I could be totally wrapped up in the experience and didn’t need to worry about anything. If anyone came to me with a question, I just sent them directly to Taylor! A huge THANK YOU to Taylor for an amazing event.

    Simply the best!

    I have been working with the team at So Eventful for years and I love them! I've worked with many of the coordinators associated with So Eventful and have always had a fantastic experience! As a wedding photographer working with professionals who are organized and are aware of what the day of team requires, along with the couple, is vital. I always feel fully prepared with all of the necessary information day of and they always include me in the process of creating/finalizing the timeline.     A wedding (or any major event really) does not just coincidently go smoothly, look beautiful, and become fondly memorable on it’s own.     Top Quality Planning Team

    We LOVE working with SO Eventful. Their entire planning team is top quality. This fall our band, The Class had the pleasure of team up with Kim Carfi for two different weddings in Napa and Sonoma County and I have to say, she is really on top if it. On both occasions, the weddings went off without a hitch. She has a great balance of keeping the wedding moving forward and doing it with a fantastic attitude and keeping everyone smiling. I highly recommend So Eventful - in my mind they are one of the best planning companies around!

    Highly recommend!

    So Eventful was fantastic to work with in planning and executing our wedding and we would highly recommend them to anyone. Our wedding was delayed due to Covid so we worked with two planners, Sam and eventually Taylor, and they were both excellent. Sam helped us select and manage our vendors, and shared many helpful tools that made planning more organized. When we transitioned to Taylor, she did a great job getting to know us and taking over management of our vendors; it was a very smooth process.

    So Eventful is very professional and knowledgeable about the vendors, venues, and any regulations in the Napa area where we got married. Taylor helped us stay on top of deadlines and provided guidance for all our questions, from “does this contract change seem reasonable?” to “do we really need flowers in the bathroom?”. On the day of our wedding, Taylor managed all the logistics from set up to strike and left us free to truly be in the moment. We had no concerns throughout the day as she skillfully ensured things were set up properly and event staff and vendors knew what to do. Our family and friends even commented on how well she managed things and how seamless it all felt.

    If you think you need any help or guidance in preparation for your wedding day, or for the day-of, we highly recommend So Eventful!

    Thank you Meghan M & So Eventful!

    This is long overdue but we worked with Meghan M from So Eventful and could not of asked for a more seamless & perfect day, all thanks to you! Meghan's is extremely organized, her emails are detailed, the shared Google drive had every piece of info needed, and she captured everything we had envisioned. She kept both parents, grandparents and our very large bridal party in the loop at all times over the busy wedding weekend. She has great connections in the area. I always heard something will go wrong on your wedding day but nothing went wrong thanks to her and the amazing team & staff. We were stress-free. I wish we could relive our favorite weekend. Huge thank you again and we hope you are showing others our favorite drink ;)

    3-Day Wedding Weekend Made Perfect by Jessi!

    Jessi with So Eventful was amazing! She was so calm, reassuring, and organized throughout our three-day wedding weekend. On top of that, she joined partway through the planning process and brought herself up to speed quickly and confidentially. There was never a concern whether we were in good hands or not. It was amazing how hard she worked from planning, to set up, and closeout. Everything went perfectly and we couldn't have done it without her and the So Eventful team. Jessi lead us through the weekend and took care of every detail - making what could have been exceptionally stressful into a total breeze.

    Cannot say thank you enough!

    Had the pleasure of working with Kristen Miller with So Eventful for almost two years before our wedding in July, and we have nothing but great things to say. Exceptionally professional, organized, timely, FUN, and overall just a really down to earth great person who genuinely wants to make sure your wedding is everything you want it to be. It's more than just a job for her. She actually cares and takes the time to get to know you and your partner. She helped provide structure and guidance where we needed it with vendors, but also was always there for support when things got a bit stressful. Kristen basically planned our wedding twice since we pushed our original date back a year due to COVID. She made planning a wedding a second time smooth, seamless, and as low-stress as possible. Could not imagine having to plan a wedding without her help. And we were one of those couples who initially did not want a wedding planner. So, so, so worth it! 100% would recommend her to anyone considering working with Kristen in the future! Big thank you to Kristen for an AMAZING wedding day! So glad you were a part of it.

    Meghan M is the best !

    We were very fortunate to have worked with Meghan as our month of wedding planner this fall. Like many couples, we had postponed our wedding twice due to Covid and Meghan was there through the whole process working with our venue / various vendors to set new dates and renegotiated contracts. Meghan is very detailed, organized and knowledgeable, but most importantly she is friendly and personable. It’s always a plus working with someone you like :) . Meghan knew exactly what she is doing. She asks the right questions and made many suggestions so that our day would flow smoothly. On the day of our wedding, I didn’t have a single thing to worry about . Meghan handled everything, made the timeline and coordinated that time line with all our vendors. I often hear stories of how stressful wedding planning can be and I honestly have to say I didn’t feel any stress throughout the whole process because we had Meghan! I knew we were in good hands so thank you Meghan again for your hard work. Hopefully we weren’t too difficult to work with with our last minute changes and wedding items you had to place 😂

    Perfect vineyard wedding

    I could not have done it without Taylor. I mean, I had the absolutely insane idea of planning a wedding in 6 weeks and Taylor held my hand through it all, constantly making me feel like everything was going to be okay. And it was more than okay, it was the perfect vineyard wedding! Taylor is not only incredibly talented but she gets things done, she is creative, organized, friendly and a great communicator. I highly recommend So Eventful for all of your wine country events!

    Meghan did an amazing job! 100% Stress-free

    It wasn't easy to plan a wedding, let alone postponing for Covid and then having a change in wedding planner. But it doesn't matter if Meghan Magnasco is your wedding planner. You are in VERY good hands. We cannot say enough good things about Meghan. She was so on point, very helpful and efficient throughout the planning process. I pride myself on my attention to details and organizational skill but Meghan is the real master. On the day of the wedding, she handled everything so seamlessly and I was 100% stress-free, knowing that she has it all under control. The comfort we had working with someone so experienced and chill was irreplaceable. We have her to thank for making sure the big day went so flawlessly! Literally everything was executed perfectly and on schedule with zero hiccup and we were not stressed for a second. Highly recommend Meghan for any and all events!

    Incredible Attention to Detail

    Jennifer (JJ) made sure that our event was still amazing despite the many changes we needed to make due to COVID. Her attention to detail and genuine caring nature ensured us that our special day would be stress-free and perfect! Jennifer thinks of everything you thought you needed and more!     Seamless and Stress Free!

    Jennifer Verdon made everything so wonderful. I knew I could trust her to make my wedding everything we had discussed. Every last detail of my wedding was carefully planned, and executed. On the day of my wedding, I did not have to worry about anything except getting ready, enjoying my girls, and getting ready to marry my best friend. I highly recommend Jennifer for any and all events.

    A pleasure to work with. So immensely helpful

    When our son and fiancee asked if they might have their wedding at our home, my husband and I were thrilled. Having organized a few large gatherings I thought “ no problem”. Well, someone whispered in my ear “wedding planner.” I looked into it and found “So Eventful” in Healdsburg and we met Briana.

    What can I say? Briana planned the wedding perfectly. She was always accessible and we came to depend on her. Philip and Jackie were so very pleased with all that she did for them, and us. Her tireless attention to the many details was impressive and so very much appreciated. - Always anticipating the next step and making sure nothing was overlooked, she worked with the florist, caterers, furniture rentals, Fancy Flush, and other vendors so they slipped in seamlessly the day before and the day of the wedding. She organized the shuttles from the hotels, and the shuttles from the drop off point at the bottom of the hill to the house.

    Briana was there for the rehearsal telling us what to do and what not to do. On the wedding day she was unflappable as we watched the overcast sky. The sun came out as the wedding party prepared to walk from the house to the ceremony site. (Probably not Briana’s doing) She made sure that the 135 guests moved from the ceremony site to the terrace for appetizers and then to the petanque court for dinner, without a hitch. She made sure nobody missed a cue. Then finally back to the terrace for cake, dessert and dancing.

    There was nothing she did not know about planning a wedding. A pleasure to work with. Thanks to Briana the bride and groom, I and everybody included in the wedding, had a perfectly wonderful day.

    I can't imagine getting married without So Eventful

    We can't say enough good things about JJ, our wedding planner from So Eventful! JJ was exceptionally organized, delightful to work with, and extremely effective. JJ exceeded all expectations of what a wedding planner can do.

    Our venue was a remote family property with no electricity or water, and a guest list of 150 people. JJ helped us to manage the logistics during the planning process (rental numbers, tent layout, caterer coordination, etc), and handled the day-of activities seamlessly.

    JJ had planning calls with us for months before our wedding, and learned about our vision for the event. As we identified challenges JJ was always there with a solution.

    The comfort we had working with someone so skilled was irreplaceable. It helped me relax leading up to the wedding, and on the day of. I can't imagine what our wedding day would have been like without JJ!

    My husband and I were married in Lodi on 9/28/19 and Jennifer Verdon was our day of coordinator through So Eventful! She was AMAZING! We have her to thank for making sure the day went flawlessly! She worked with our vendors prior to the wedding and made sure they had a timeline and any questions answered. She rarely reached out to me for day of questions unless it was necessary. The day of the wedding I was stress free and was able to savor so many more moments knowing all the details were being handled. Using So Eventful was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and I am so grateful for to look back on our wedding as the BEST day of our lives.

    Jennifer was literally the BEST!

    AMAZING! Jennifer Madru planned our wedding on the Sonoma Coast this weekend - was absolutely couldn't have done it without her. She was there for every step of the planning process, meticulously thinking through all of the details. At first we thought that So Eventful was a little expensive, but having Jennifer on our team was worth every single penny. I wish I had another event to plan, so I could work with her again :).

    They did amazing job with our wedding!

    Our wedding venue in wine country recommended So Eventful, we ended up working with Briana and she was amazing! She was so easy to work with and talk to. She kept us on track despite our busy life schedules and helped put together a perfect day! Briana was especially good at helping us work through seemingly small but important details, and alerting us to things we never would of thought of. On the big day she was there for everything we needed and kept everything running smoothly as can be. I'd highly recommend her and the so eventful staff!

    Jennifer Maudru - I could not have asked for a better planner to share my special day with

    I am beyond grateful for Jennifer Maudru with So Eventful. Jennifer was very professional, and went over and beyond expectations. Jennifer was helpful in providing guidance and recommendations for vendors time frames and was an ideal partner in helping my vision come to life. Jennifer created an epic time line and event schedule for my wedding and all of the fun events and parties that we offered to my bridal party and guests. Being from out of state, and planning from afar Jennifer was my trusted eyes in ears. She was always prompt in responding to questions and needs.
    Jennifer traveled to our venue before hand, and provided us with pictures and recommendations for décor, banquet event orders and floor plans for our events. Jennifer was always friendly and willing to lend a helping hand. She helped to house our decorations that where shipped before hand and was there to assist with our needs throughout the course of our events. I love how she engaged with my bridesmaids and was there point of contact for needs and questions.
    I can not sing Jennifer's praises enough. It has been a month since my wedding now... Jennifer has reached out on a few items that she has helped with after our event. I am so excited to see her communication come through. I wish I had a reason to continue planning and communicating with Jennifer. I hope our paths will cross again. She is absolutely wonderful and I couldn't have asked for a better person to share my special day with!

    So Eventful -- Great Weddings Planners!

    We used Briana from So Eventful to help plan our wedding held on 12/30/18 in Healdsburg, CA. I was worried that our small, 28-person, back-yard wedding would be something too small for them to be interested in. Quite the contrary, as Briana said she loved putting together intimate events so of course we were thrilled. We live in Minneapolis, so Briana literally had to be our eyes and ears on the ground. We didn't even meet each other until the day before our wedding, yet I felt like I had known her forever. We had talked on the phone and communicated through email, and Briana was able to handle everything with minimal guidance and was incredibly responsive. In addition to helping plan every detail, her biggest value-add was being there during any and all vendor set up and being there very early on the wedding day to take care of everything, which was a HUGE stress relief for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day because of the attention to detail and great work by Briana. Thank you!!

    Working with Samantha let us fully enjoy our wedding day!

    If you’re looking for someone to keep you sane and get things done — I cannot speak more highly of Samantha Paull! Here’s a mini rant that doesn’t even cover all of the reasons we loved working with Samantha:

    Last June we were putting together a 300+ Indian wedding and decided to go with a venue that was like a blank slate. It was a barn and vineyard combination and we chose to bring our own catering, stock our own bar and figure out lighting and decoration on our own. On top of that we wanted to make sure we had a fusion ceremony that was Indian as well as “American” so we wrote our own ceremony.

    Samantha was unbelievably helpful. I’m a designer, so I had a lot of elaborate visions — but I also had no experience in event planning. Samantha was able to keep up with all of my racing thoughts while still keeping me grounded and relatively on budget. She was able to recommend vendors that best suited what we needed. We even had to coordinate shuttles from the parking lot to the venue and she was able to help us find the best rate as well as keep things smooth on the day of the wedding.

    Though we hired her to be our ‘day of planner’ — Samantha was much more than that. I honestly don’t think we could have had such an amazing day without her. We felt so at ease and prepared before the wedding that when the day actually came around we were able to completely detach from logistics and enjoy the day. She was able to make sure all of the pieces of the Indian ceremony ran smoothly and that the mandap structure was beautiful and ready to go. She gracefully handled logistics between the rentals, lighting, draping, caterer, live music and most importantly family. Everyone was so relaxed and we all were able to just ENJOY.

    The day of all the tiny details of things I had DIY made were magically in place without needing me at all— from hanging lights, to programs, to balloon garlands to even cupcake stands I had made. On top of that, there were so many wonderful personal touches she just did— like she had our favorite cocktail and some appetizers brought to us while we were changing between the ceremony and reception. And during the reception she made sure we had time to eat and enjoy some time to ourselves… and she stayed until late in the night to make sure everyone was safely on shuttles.

    On top of ALL of that she was just such a joy to work with. I honestly miss chatting with her and bouncing ideas off of her!

    We Couldn't Have Done It Without Them

    To say that our wedding wouldn't have happened without Sam Paull and So Eventful is to not do them justice. She was amazing throughout the entire process. We both live in the UK so a wedding in California was always going to be difficult to organise. Or so we thought.

    Sam was always available to talk or Facetime with us and made us feel assured and comfortable from moment one. She was on top of all the information and always had answers to all our questions. She was friendly and warm which is exactly what you want.

    Our wedding was difficult because we lost our first venue in the fires in 2017 so things had to change, including the date. She co ordinated all the changes perfectly and meant our stress was kept to a minimum. On the day she was perfection. Everything was where it was meant to be, when it was meant to be there and in exactly the place we planned. You saw Sam occasionally and she made sure everyone was where they were meant to be at the right time but it was like all the best service, she was there when you needed her but was entirely unobtrusive.

    There was one moment that sums Sam up. During the meal Aly and I were going around the tables saying thank you. After a while she quietly came up to us and said 'guys you should go and eat now. Everyone is fine and if you don't have some food now you won't get a chance.' The fact she knew to do that then shows her professionalism as well as the rapport she had built with us over the months.

    So if you are thinking of using Sam and So Eventful we can thoroughly recommend them. It was easily the best money we spent during our entire wedding. We can't thank them enough.

    The day of will be executed flawlessly and it will all come together perfectly.

    As someone who is as organized and detail oriented as I am, you can’t really get much choosier or bossier than me :) so I will preface my review as such. Honestly, I choose so eventful because of their expertise, strong relationship with vendors, and ability to execute day of. In addition, our wedding was 20 minutes north of healdsburg, so having someone Local like so eventful means you are getting quality vendors and they know what to ask for. I came in with a few specifics of what I wanted and Kristen really helped me make it a reality. We had to make difficult decisions day off with a power outage and rain and the wedding still was absolutely incredible. I can attest a lot of that was because of Kristen taking all my details and making it real, regardless of the circumstances. For planning up until the event: For those who require guidance on venues, they can provide that to you. For those who are not as organized, there are so many checklists they provide to you to get you ready for the big day. For me, that was comforting because I wanted to be on top of schedule and making all the best decisions i could, timely. I would highly recommend so eventful and Kristen to anyone getting married in the SF Bay Area.

    Meghan made my dream wedding come to life!

    So happy that I went with Meghan M. at So Eventful- I can confidently say that there is no way my wedding would have been as seamless, stress free, and beautiful if it weren't for Meghan. My wedding was at a private residence, which comes with lots of challenges and things to think about that regular venues wouldn't require. Meghan knew exactly what to do and guided me through each step so that we were on the same page throughout the whole process. On the morning of my wedding, rain unexpectedly popped up, and Meghan calmly guided me through my options for moving my outdoor ceremony & cocktail hour 4 hours before we were supposed to start. I trusted her completely and she turned my wedding into more than I could have ever imagined. Thank you SO much Meghan, I already miss working with you!

    We worked with Jennifer Maudru for our wedding at the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens and cannot say enough good things about her. If you have the chance to bring her on for your event, don't miss it. Weddings are about a million little details as well as the big picture, and whatever it was Jennifer kept us on track and on target, was always kind, thoughtful and responsive, and acted as our champion while interacting with our vendors.

    The wedding passed off smashingly, in large part thanks to Jennifer, and I'll always remember that somewhere around 8 or 9pm she came to check on us, saw that our glasses were empty, and personally went to fetch some wine for us. Just lovely.

    We had the absolute pleasure of working with wedding coordinator Jennifer Maudru for our son's wedding on 8/18/18. Our son became engaged in July of 2017, set a wedding date in August of 2018 and in October of 2017, we lost everything in the Tubbs Fire in Sonoma County. We were going through so much, I knew I needed help with wedding planning. When I reached out to Jennifer, she was the kindest, calmest, most reassuring person I have ever met. She put me at ease and let me know that she would help us make this special day everything we envisioned it to be. When she said the words, "I want you to be a guest at your own event," I cried. Jennifer made herself available to us at all times. The fact that she was so responsive to all of our calls and emails made our confidence grow. She reached out and offered to do whatever she could to take things off of our plate. Jennifer is extremely detail oriented and professional. She is well respected in the event-planning business, so it made working with different vendors very easy because they had worked together before. She kept our budget in mind and helped us keep on track in all ways. She has so much knowledge and wonderful ideas. She listened to everything we said and took the ball and ran with it. We had 160 guests. The day of the wedding was the BEST DAY EVER! Jennifer had prepared a timeline and kept to it. Everything flowed perfectly. If there were any "hiccups," Jennifer took care of it all. I would not have changed one thing! If you are planning an important event, call Jennifer. We will never forget all of the hard work she did for us and got us through this process will very low stress. Thank you, Jennifer.     I had the pleasure of working with SoEventful the past year for our wedding day on 8/18/18.

    Where to start- the ownership. SoEventful is a small, family owned business that started organically. They are very professional from the start. The tag line “be a guest at your own event” is exactly how we felt. They make the wedding planning process a breeze. When I heard other brides stressing and freaking out, I could never relate because everything was handled for us. I had trust and faith every step of the way that Marisa and her team was planning our wedding with OUR vision in mind.

    They take ideas you randomly find, put their twist on it, and make your dreams become reality. They assisted in selecting the best fit vendors for US. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this experience was, I wasn’t very excited for this part of the process.

    Now, the day of. Our day of planner was running around doing a million things, yet had a calm demeanor the entire time. This was important for me because I am naturally an anxious person (so you can imagine me about to walk down an aisle with 100+ people staring at me).

    And guess what? WE STARTED ON TIME! I was told during cocktail hour we were actually ahead of schedule. NO JOKE, I thought this was impossible?! Not with SoEventful. And this meant more party time at the end of the night!

    Our experience with wedding planner Jessica Kerns at So Eventful was absolutely fantastic!! She is extremely experienced, has a wonderful preferred vendor list full of very talented professionals, and is an excellent problem solver and people manager. Jessica helped us deal with a hard-to-communicate-with wedding venue, (that we picked before we hired Jessica), and was also instrumental in securing a venue for our welcome dinner that clearly wouldn't have happened without her connections. She is well known and highly respected within her industry which is extremely helpful during the planning process when working with vendors and end results. Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be- so beautiful and well-orchestrated, all of our guests had a lovely time!     Kristen is literally the best. We got married in September 2017 at my husband’s parent’s estate in Sonoma and we could not have pulled it off without her. We are based in Brooklyn and my in-laws house was being built as we planned (and I may be a little type A) so I was nervous about planning the wedding from afar. But, from the moment we spoke with her on the phone 2 years before the big day until the minute we left our wedding, we knew that everything was going to happen (and happen beautifully) because she was in charge. All the times that could have ended up in fights between my (now) husband and I ended up being a non-issue because “Kristen’s on it.” Not only did she juggle some crazy logistics (e.g., no buses would come up the road to the house), she had immaculate taste in decor and food, and an eye for space like nothing I’ve ever seen. While we were planning the wedding, my in-laws home was being built, so every site visit was complemented by blueprints and lots of imagination, yet Kristen was able to map out the event and ensure everything fit seamlessly. As if that wasn’t enough, the wedding went off without a hitch and she even hit the dance floor with us at the end of the night. Kristen - we <3 you!

    Kristen blew me away! I'm a Wedding DJ and had the pleasure of working with her in Sept '17. First, she surprised me with her friendliness. Then she impressed me with her ability to make a huge endeavor feel easeful. Later, she shocked me by dancing with the crowd and dancing with me behind the DJ booth! She dealt with the electrical challenges of the venue like a champion and she stayed until we were totally broken down and turned the lights off for the venue. She was so helpful that she actually retrieved something I forgot and got it back to me. The bride, groom and family loved her and I'm sure will be recommending her as well. She's a total pro and someone you'd just want to hang out with. Hire her.

    We worked with Kristen Miller for our wedding and she was amazing! Even though we live in New York she was our eyes and ears on the ground. She kept us on track for everything with extreme attention to detail and handled all vendor communication. Kristen has a great personality and is easy to work with. Additionally she has a huge network with connections to all the vendors we worked with in the CA area and is familiar with many venues in Sonoma / Napa.

    On the wedding day she was extremely organized and went above and beyond positioning my wife's dress to make sure everything looked perfect when she walked out. Kristen also handled many of the small decorations on the day of the wedding. After the wedding she stepped in to handle all the post wedding services and even shipped our rental clothing back.

    Kristen really took the burden off our shoulders for the wedding planning process and helped us through what could have been a really stressful time. She made it fun and easy with her great organizational skills and patience with us when we ran behind. We will definitely recommend her to any friends or family who are having a wedding in the area.

    One of the best things we did for our wedding was hire Meghan Magnasco at So Eventful for day of coordination. People always try to tell you how chaotic and fast paced your wedding day is, but it's hard to truly comprehend that until you live it. The last thing the bride and groom need to worry about is whether the last shuttle has arrived, if the cake is melting from the 103 degree heat, if the guest book is missing, if you've signed your marriage license, etc...You want to focus on being with your loved ones and staying as present as possible in every single moment. Meghan made that happen.     We used Jennifer Maudru from So Eventful as our day-of wedding coordinator. Jennifer delivered the perfect wedding for us. She was friendly, thoughtful, professional, and capable. She understood perfectly what we wanted and made it happen, from the wedding rehearsal to the wedding itself, from arranging table decorations, to herding guests, to managing the vendors. We were able to focus 100% on the event and enjoy ourselves while she took care of things behind the scenes. We couldn't have asked for better. We can't emphasize enough how impressed we were with Jennifer, and how grateful we were to have her as our wedding coordinator. It's too bad we won't need another wedding, because we'd love to work with her again! We would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone. Give that woman a raise!

    We worked with Meghan at So Eventful which was an absolute pleasure. She responded to all my emails and made me feel calm and helped with all my little details. She provided insight and had a great amount of knowledge and expertise. She asked me questions, making sure she had all the information she needed to perform her job perfectly and she did. She was so easy to work with and I felt like I knew her for years. The day of my wedding she took over and helped set up all my decorations and it looked beautiful.     Our wedding day was pretty much perfect, and we owe that to Kristen Miller. We initially did not plan to use a wedding planner, but after we finished making the fun decisions (like food and cake), we found that we did not have the time that it took to deal with everything else. Kristen stepped in and made our vision a reality. No detail was overlooked. She was responsive, detail-oriented, and fun to work with. And with all of her oversight and contacts, she practically paid for herself. Truly the best money that we spent!

    Our coordinator was Kristen Miller, and she was FANTASTIC. My (now) husband and I are OCD planners with everything we do, and Kristen matched our level of OCD and thought of all the little details we hadn't considered. She is organized, detail-oriented, and very fast on email - all super important qualities in a wedding coordinator.

    Wedding coordination is not cheap, and while we initially experienced a case of sticker shock, we were pleased with the service provided. We only did day-of coordination ($2000), which was cheaper than some of the other coordinators in the area that we considered (but yes, still substantial amount of money), however Kristen went above and beyond to ensure that all went smoothly - especially when it came to having a contingency plan for rain (and it stormed like no other the morning of our wedding!)

    Thank you So Eventful, and particularly Kristen, for making our day run as smoothly as it did!

    Even If you are trying to keep a tight budget, do not skip on having a wedding planner, at least on the day of. It worth every penny. If you are looking for true professionals So Eventful is who you need. Having Marissa and her team on my wedding day made it a truly magical and smooth day.

    So Eventful and Jennifer Maudru were on top of everything. I worked as part of the team for Cesar and Laurette's wedding at the Meritage Resort. Being part of the team, requires constant communication and trust that both the photographer and myself (video) are always kept up to date on the timeline so we are sure to capture the special moments during the day. Jennifer did just that. Everything ran so smooth, I didn't realize until later in the day they had to make a run to Target to pick up dress pants for the son of the couple... right before the ceremony!     Our experience with So Eventful was incredible. We felt taken care of from the minute we hired them.

    Ashley was our assigned planner, and if she is a testament to the caliber of professionalism So Eventful holds their staff to, then you can feel confident with anyone you work with!

    Ashley is the most organized, professional and level headed person I have ever met! She made planning our wedding fun, organized and as minimal stress as planning a wedding can be. We got married at Chalk Hill in Healdsburg, which is a stunning location (highly recommend!), but you need to bring everything on site, from tables and chairs to bathrooms and power cords. There are tons of details that go into that, 85% of which I was never privy to because she took care of it! She is also so familiar with all the vendors in the area, and she can guide you in the right direction for your wedding once she has a sense of your vision. This chick knows how to pull off a kick ass wedding!

    To give her even more credit, we are working through some wrap up details with one of our vendors still, and even though we were married 3 months ago, she is still 100% by our side helping us through it. Part of me is happy we still have an excuse to text each other and keep in touch :).

    We loved our experience with So Eventful, and would recommend them again and again!

    We had the pleasure of using So Eventful for wedding planning services for our October wedding in Wine Country. We live out of state so having someone help us locally was a must. We came across So Eventful after EXTENSIVE research and conversations with countless other planners (I am extremely Type A) and used them first for an event scouting trip. It was a great opportunity for us to get a feel for someone who would eventually become our #1 point of contact for all things wedding. We met Kristen Miller and from that first meeting, never looked back! Kristen was AMAZING and we cannot say enough wonderful things about her work.

    We did a custom package with Kristen, that consisted of the venue scouting, wedding planning and full day of services. Kristen went above and beyond! She presented us with so many venue options and really listened to what we were looking for (which as most brides know can change from day to day!) In the end, she helped us land our dream venue in Santa Rosa and planned what will go down as the best day ever. She spent countless hours/days working with me via email/phone/FaceTime which was so important for an out of state bride. She took our very specific ideas about the style of wedding we were hoping for and nailed it to a T. Kristen introduced us to simply wonderful vendors across the area, and gave us so many options to choose from. We would have been happy with any of the vendors which speaks to her contacts she has. Leading up to the wedding, she was 100% available whenever we had a question/concern/change of idea and made the entire process so smooth.

    On the day of, she kept everyone on schedule (!!!!) and my husband and I were calm as a cucumber because of her. She is simply an amazing wedding planner and our day was so great because of her help. I would absolutely recommend her to any bride looking for a wedding planner in Wine Country.     Jennifer Maudru was beyond exceptional! We had a somewhat stressful two weeks leading up to our big day with a possible rain storm in the area. Jennifer sent us daily weather updates, arranged backup locations, and made sure everyone was informed of both plans flawlessly. There is not one minute of our wedding we would have changed and largely that is because of Jennifer's diligence, attention to detail, and calm demeanor. She truly did not miss a beat. Everyone prepared us that something "wouldn't go to plan" and to try to move on and enjoy the day. After reflecting on the event, we couldn't think of a single thing that wasn't in place. Most importantly, Jennifer made sure that we enjoyed our day. She checked in with us at the perfect moments, made sure everyone was on schedule without rushing anyone, and even made sure we ate! She is a blessing and we are forever grateful for Jennifer making sure our wedding was perfect!

    We got married 07/23/2015 at the Meritage Resort in Napa Ca. Vineyard wedding at Napa is definitely a dream come true for both of us; having a wedding at the Meritage however was a little tricky being that there was no easy way up to the vineyard deck where we had the ceremony. The vineyard deck sits on the top of the hill surrounded with vineyards. Jennifer was AMAZING!!! We enjoyed our wedding because of her wonderful work. Having Jennifer as our planner was the best investment. The day we had our first meeting she designed the whole layout and described how beautiful and organize our wedding wound be like. She was good at incorporating our ideas and at the same time suggested some better ones. She have done many weddings at this particular location, so that kept us at ease even more. She is very creative and knows her stuff. We never thought we could relax and truly enjoy our wedding day. Her assistant Monica was absolutely top of the line. We had a near disaster with my sons suit pants and Monica went to the nearby store and bought, out of her pocket, a suit pants for my son and manage to make it back minutes before the ceremony. We were very appreciative of that. Jennifer personify cool, calm and collective; this kind of personality kept us at ease knowing that her and Monica were putting out their best effort in making sure that everything goes perfect. Words can't express how happy and thankful we are. Jennifer Maudru you are a real pro... we love you! If we had to, we would do it all over again!

    Jennifer Maudru was our planner and all I can say is that she was wonderful to work with. She was there every step of the process and eased all my fears and doubts about everything. A wedding is a very huge beast and Jennifer was able to see the larger picture and didn't let anything slip through the cracks. She was very communicative and quick to respond to all of my emails.     Kaela of So Eventful was our day-of wedding coordinator. From the very first phone interview, I could tell that we were in capable hands, and that she would remain friendly and professional even under pressure. She delivered in every way, from all the preparations beforehand, coordinating with vendors for the timeline, and especially on the day-of. Our shuttles ended up arriving an hour late, so everything on the timeline had to be moved up. She did this for us seamlessly – the guests didn’t notice at all that things were moving at a faster pace! She really made it possible for me to enjoy the entire wedding day to the fullest. My attention was on spending quality time with my friends and family, not the organization and coordination of the event itself.

    Jennifer at So Eventful was the best! We could not have had the successful wedding we did without her help and input. She organized the rehearsal and all the vendors on the Big Day and so much more. The entire wedding was a success from the processional to the tossing of the bouquet.
    And the time Jennifer spent with me, mother of the bride, walking me through my role too. Who thinks about the cake platter! i didn't, just assumed the cake came with one, thankfully she told me what to provide from cake platter to the gratuities to all our fabulous vendors.
    i have to say, she thinks on her feet and her hard work made my daughter's wedding the huge success it was.
    You can hire the best florist, the best baker, buy the fanciest gown, but your day will be fun and enjoyable with someone in your corner keeping it all together for you like Jennifer at So Eventful.

    Monica did day-of coordination for my sister's wedding ( was the MOH) this past June and she did an amazing job from day 1! Not only is she sweet as can be, she is proactive, calm, and professional. Throughout the planning process she was very accommodating and helpful.     Monica is everything and more you could ever want in a wedding coordinator. She is kind, helpful, innovative, quick on her feet and thinks of EVERYTHING! When I started wedding planning I knew I would be a very hands-on bride and might not need a day-of coordinator, but having been through the process I would recommend EVERYONE get at least a day-of coordinator. Throughout the day she made sure everyone and everything were where they needed to be and on time. She made recommendations throughout the day and even brought many of her own helpful supplies to make the day run perfectly. When a small hiccup came up she made sure to see through the problem without me even finding out until it had been resolved!

    My husband and I are so happy to have had Monica’s help on the best day of our lives. We will never be able to thank her enough!

    Kristen was my ‘day of coordinator,' but she was so much more than that. She guided me as we toured my venue bringing up new possibilities for event locations and giving me realistic estimates for rentals, etc. She was quick to respond to my emails months before my 'day of’ and took all my worries away so that I could truly enjoy the day. This coming from a control freak!
    I would recommend her to family or friends, because she is the type of person who can get along with everyone. Especially anyone thinking of using Dawn Ranch Lodge as their venue, you must hire Kristen. No one knows that venue better than she does - after all she was their staff wedding coordinator!

    Things inevitably go wrong right before your wedding-- I didn't believe it either, but they do, and they did. Luckily, we had hired Marisa from So Eventful. Not only did Marisa keep her cool when a vendor canceled (for unforeseen circumstances), and when the forecast showed rain for our outdoor wedding, but she handled everything and made us feel relaxed. She found solutions almost immediately, when something would come up. She was there during the whole wedding process and was not only professional, but also fun. We loved working with Marisa and would recommend her to anyone!

My daughter's wedding was just beautiful, everything we hoped for and more, and I attribute much of its success to Monica.She has so many terrific skills that make her a dream come true wedding planner: superb communication and organization skills, great contact and follow up with vendors, a friendly, warm personality, and a terrific ability for problem solving. She went out of her way to help my sister figure out how to show her movie at the wedding and when I forgot the wine, drove to pick it up. She was very sensitive to some tricky family issues, and she coordinated the various vendors beautifully. She gently nudged to get one of the vendors there earlier than the vendor wanted to be there-- with no extra cost to me. She also got us last minute heaters when it turned out the day was cooler than we'd expected for an out door wedding and dinner. Knowing Monica was in charge, my daughter (and her finance and the wedding party) had a fabulous, stress free wedding day, from the time she woke up to her 4:30 wedding. And I had a stress free day, too. Whenever I'd get anxious ,I just reminded myself that we were in Monica's hands-- thank goodness! I really cannot sing her praises enough. I've already recommended her to friends. Thank you So Eventful, and thank you Monica!

    I contacted Marisa at So Eventful to inquire about hiring a "day of" coordinator for my sons rehearsal dinner and welcome party. Considering I live in Texas and my event was in Healdsburg I needed, as well as wanted to work with someone local to the area and who would have great attention to detail, as I am extremely detailed oriented myself! Marisa recommended I speak with Alison Weese and after our initial, lengthy conversation I knew she was the perfect person for me to work with. We hit it off right away and she immediately understood the vision I had for Friday night as it wasn't a typical rehearsal dinner I was hosting. With the welcome party following dinner we had approximately 250 family and friends in town to celebrate with us. Full bar, dessert and cheese stations as well as live music were all a part of what turned out to be a perfect evening in every way. Alison was such an integral part of every aspect and I am extremely appreciative of all her efforts and recommend her most highly!

    Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!!! Jessica at So Eventful is a star. She is extremely organized and just seems to know exactly what you want, from decor to layout, timing, small details, you name it she has it covered. She was so easy to talk to and work with we could not have asked for better service. It made the whole day stress free, we could relax and enjoy ourselves as we just knew she had everything totally covered, and she did!!! If you are finding it difficult to decide on a wedding planner I assure you your search is over....go with So Eventful you won't be disappointed and your big day will be stress free for you both, and you can enjoy every minute of it.

    I am a full time wedding photographer in Sonoma, Napa and San Francisco and I have been working with Kristen Miller from So Eventful for two full seasons now and I couldn't say enough wonderful things about her! I have worked with dozens of planners and nobody brings as positive of an attitude as Kristen does! She is quick on her feet, a fantastic problem solver, doesn't get frazzled and is always smiling while still being professional through and through!     We had Jessica Kerns as our wedding event coordinator and she did an absolutely fantastic job!!!! She was a pleasure to work with! She was very organized the day off and super responsive the whole time leading up to the wedding! All of the details at our wedding looked amazing and I know we have her to thank for much of it!!     So Eventful’s Jessica Kerns is the person you want on your wedding day. We brought her on as a day of coordinator and she and her team (Kaela Herrera, Jax Spence and Monica Stickley) made our wedding run flawlessly. I was a very particular bride and Jessica ensured everything was absolutely perfect; even better than I could have imagined. Many of our 312 guests have remarked that it was the most flawlessly executed wedding that they have ever been to… it would not have been that way without Jessica and her team. When one of my bridesmaids’ zippers ripped out of the dress 30 minutes before the ceremony, Jessica whipped out a needle and perfectly matching thread and sewed my friend back in just in time to walk down the aisle. She performed little miracles time and time again and was worth every penny. She truly made our special day a dream and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

    I have to say that So Eventful saved my life. My wedding planner Jessica Kearns was just absolutely amazing. Our wedding was in Napa and we live in Los Angeles so being far away I felt at a disadvantage however Jessica could not have made it more easy and perfect!! She responded to my emails within 10 minutes I swear. She literally went above and beyond on our wedding day. The whole day was flawless and she made it so FUN!! I can't say thank you enough. My entire family and friends were in awe of her and how beautiful the wedding turned out and I owe a lot of that to Jessica. Thank you!!

    If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, think no further, So Eventful and one of their amazing coordinators, Ashley Mauritson create an AMAZING experience for any couple. I did not have to lift a finger. From invitations, to menu planning, vendor arrangements, welcome bags, hair and make-up, anything you could possibly think of from the day you start planning until even the days after, she took care of it. We wanted to tour wine country on Monday AFTER our wedding, and even then she lined up and amazing day for us!

    Everything was executed exactly how she told me it would be and it was all beautiful, seamless, and magical. I planned our wedding for 200+ guests in Sonoma, all the way from Florida and it was honestly the easiest party I've ever planned, thanks to Ashley Mauritson. All of my guests are still talking about how wonderful our wedding was and I am still amazed by how perfect it all was. She made planning a breeze and I cannot say one negative thing about our wedding weekend and can only praise Ashley over and over for making everything during our 10 month planning session an absolute pleasure. When your mom says "I felt like a guest at my own daughter's wedding, I didn't have to do a thing but enjoy myself" and your dad says "We could have never done this without her" you know that you chose the right person! She created a wedding 200+ people will never forget. She also created a wedding that my husband and I will be in awe of forever.

    Monica Stickley from So Eventful was my planner and I can not praise her enough. When I first decided to get married in Napa, I was worried about being so far away (I live in LA) I knew I needed a planner, I called a couple of different planners and they were not eager to help. When Monica called me back, I knew in seconds she was my girl. The entire time, her goal was to make my event special. I always felt like a priority. My Future husband called her our "wedding quarterback." Not only is Monica the nicest person I've ever met, she always went above and beyond.

    Here are a couple examples: Day before my wedding, my sister's dress did not arrive from Rent the Runway, Monica took it upon herself to drive to Nordstrom (over an hour away) to get her a dress. She recommend all my vendors, from cake to flowers and every suggestion was perfect. The actual event was flawless, she got my vision and made the venue look even better than I could have ever imagine. Monica was worth the cost, knowing I didn't have to worry about the slightest detail, she always had it covered.

    We worked with Ashley in planning our wedding, and I cannot say enough about her. My wife was overseas for much of the planning process, and was only able to meet sporadically with Ashley to plan things, yet Ashley bent over backwards to accommodate our schedule. She gave us excellent recommendations for vendors, and always provided several options for us to choose from. Not only that, when we had trouble getting in touch with the band, Ashley stepped up and took care of things. During the wedding itself, we neglected to plan for how we would store the gifts and then bring them home, but Ashley had everything taken care of before we even realized our mistake! Her professionalism, kindness, preparedness, and availability were all of the highest quality. I would give Ashley the highest recommendation possible.

    Jessica at So-Eventful did an amazing job coordinating our recent private estate wedding in Tomales, CA. Almost nothing existed onsite aside from a dusty barn and she helped us turn it into a wonderful event that our friends and family still can't stop raving about. Throughout the process Jessica had many helpful recommendations and exuded poise, composure, and good humor dealing with crises both before and during the wedding.     I have nothing but praise for So Eventful! Early on in wedding planning process several friends advised hiring a day-of coordinator. Given our small wedding and tight budget, I brushed off those suggestions. And then my anxiety took over, and my fiance and I decided a day-of coordinator was more than worth the cost! Marisa worked closely with me up front to customize a package that worked for our needs - we had planned our entire wedding, we just needed someone to execute everything day-of.

    Meghan was our day-of coordinator, and she was amazing. I was just so thankful to have her, but seeing her in action during our wedding validated the value in having her. Instead of running around like a crazy person the day before and day of my wedding, I was able to enjoy time with friends and relax a little before the main event! I couldn't have done that without Meghan.

    No matter how good you are at planning or type a you are about your wedding, it really is impossible to do it all - especially during the week of your wedding. You want to be able to enjoy yourself, your significant other and your guests. Do yourself a favor and hire So Eventful!

    We were absolutely blessed to work with Jessica Kerns from So-Eventful for our wedding at The Meritage Resort in Napa! She has tons of experience working with our venue and was able to provide a customized package just for us.
    I did most of my planning from across the country and Jessica was far and beyond accommodating when I had vendor questions or concerns. I told her in the beginning that we wanted to feel like guests at our own wedding and have the weekend be a relaxing getaway for us as well as our guests, and goodness did she make it so!!!
    Literally every single thing you can think of was taken care of without me having to worry! There were definitely a few moments on the big day that I had "what about this? what about that?" thoughts, and Jessica's response was always "I've already taken care of it!" with a smile on her face. In some weird wedding day hiccup, I lost my wedding shoes, of all things, and Jessica showed up in the bridal suite with a few new options for me to choose from, all taken care of without me having to stress or worry about a thing. Totally a get it done and make it happen girl! I also have the highest respect for her; she was able to keep our touchy family members, the bridal party, and groomsmen on point with a cool head and a sense of humor!
    Truly a no-worries and no-nonsense planner who goes above and beyond for her clients to assure they are relaxed, stress-free, and have the perfect time of their lives! I could go on forever about her excellent insight for details, planning and coordination.
    She is AMAZING and I highly, highly, highly recommend Jessica and So-Eventful for your wedding!

I have to say the best thing I did during the wedding planning process was hiring So Eventful for a full coordination - they truly are the best in Northern California, especially if you're having a Wine Country wedding like I did. Marisa and her team are well-established in the area, they know EVERYONE from vendors to site planners. If you have a vision, they will make it come to life. If you are still working on your final vision, they will know exactly what and where to recommend and will work with you to figure it out, every step of the way.

    For my wedding at Solage in Calistoga, Marisa and her team paid attention to every single detail. Marisa accompanied me on site visits, helped me pick a venue, secured room blocks, handled EVERYTHING with the vendors, and worked with me to determine the vibe I wanted for my wedding (which wasn't easy, I had lots of ideas!). Every moment of my wedding was clearly thought-out, from the timeline to the ceremony musician to the cocktail table decor to the lighting. Everything was beautiful and taken care of, exactly what you want on your wedding day!

    Marisa is reliable, smart, organized and creative - I didn't have to worry about a thing and if I had a question, she was always very quick to either call me back or respond to my email. She's always on it. I can honestly say, I wouldn't change one thing about my wedding - my vision came to life and I could not have done it without the help of Marisa and her team.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE JESSICA KERNS from So Eventful! When my fiance and I met her at Starbucks in Petaluma before our wedding, we knew immediately that we had to have her coordinate our wedding. She was bubbly, upbeat, smart as a whip and really knew her stuff. I didn't look or interview any other coordinators! Since we were getting married at The Meritage in Napa, she has done SO many weddings there- I knew that she knew the ins and outs of the venue, the venue coordinators, etc. I already had most of my vendors chosen and didn't need a ton of help finding vendors so Jessica helped us choose the package that best fit our needs. She is a WEALTH of knowledge and had a ton of good suggestions for us when we needed them. When I had a problem with the first photographer/videographer that we hired, and needed to break the contract- Jessica seriously took care of it. Her services were basically paid for just in the amount of money that she was able to get back for us from that horrible vendor!
    The girl seriously sleeps with her phone on loud next to her- she is ALWAYS available to talk, text and email, even when you are being a crazy bridezilla. She has the ability to calm you down, talk you out of horrible choices, and has the best eye for detail. Like I said I already had so much chosen already but Jessica really helped us put it all together, She collected every single one of our contracts, contacted our vendors separately to touch base, and the day went smoothly without a hitch. If something went wrong, I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT IT!! Which is the way it should be at your own wedding. So Eventful's slogan really is true-be a guest at your own event!
    If you are looking for a wedding coordinator (which you should be), look no further and hire Jessica Kerns!

    Having seen Marisa of So-Eventful in action before at the weddings of our friends' daughters, she was who we encouraged our daughter to contract with for her wedding planner soon after engaged. Marisa was available from start to finish. Our daughter built a "vision board" via google docs which gave Marisa (& us, the parents of the bride) clear direction of what they wanted their day to be like. She works with ease, confidence, patience, & professionalism. If something goes astray anywhere in the planning process or on the day of, her team is quick to intervene so that all are at ease on the wedding day & can concentrate solely on the celebration, ceremony, dinner, & dancing, dancing, dancing.
    If you are planning a wedding in the North Bay, Marisa is your go to person.

    My husband and I are so thankful for Monica S. of So Eventful! After initially meeting Monica over coffee at Oxbow Market, we knew she was the perfect fit for us - sweet, upbeat, calm, and organized. We asked her to be our day-of coordinator and she not only delivered, she gave us more than we expected!

    Right off the bat, her job was made challenging by the fact that we are a busy east coast couple. She was always charming and warm in her communications and thank goodness for her timely reminders, emails, and phonecalls. Our destination wedding of 60 guests at Farmstead in St. Helena simply would not have happened without her 'atta girls!

    She served as a great resource for the Napa Valley area and helped my sisters (read: maids of honor) coordinate a bridal brunch the week of our wedding and a classic car rental for our wedding getaway.

    Monica's experience and good taste shined in the days and weeks leading up to our wedding. She went the extra mile the week of our wedding to get our decor finalized for us. She never hesitated. Once she had my approval, she just made it happen.

    The day of our wedding was flawless! The timeline she put together was perfect. What's more, she understood our vision and took care of romantic details like getting the florist to add leftover flowers to our chair signs. Thanks to Monica and Monica alone, we had sparklers for a beautiful photo-op sparkler exit.

    We worked with Ashley Mauritson to plan our wedding, and couldn't have been more pleased with the job she did. We got married at my parents home, so we had to bring in all outside rentals etc... She made it so, so easy. The first half of our engagement we were living in Germany, but Ashley made it so easy to continue the planning while we were abroad. We did the "partial coordination" package, and it was by far the best money we spent on the wedding. Every vendor she recommended did exceptional work, and the day of I wasn't worried or stressed at all.. without Ashley it wouldn't have been possible. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for help with their big day. She's amazing.

    Pilar Mustafa of So Eventful coordinated our new year's eve wedding in northern California and was nothing short of amazing. Above and beyond what I could have hoped for, and I cannot recommend her enough. Responsive, smart, communicative, like an invisible hand guiding the wedding, and making sure everything came together perfectly and smoothly.

    Not only was Pilar invaluable as far as her input and experience, but it allowed us both to relax, feel taken care of, and like we were guests at our own wedding. Not having to follow up on anything, check on anything, confirm anything was being done, was priceless.

    Pilar is organized, smart, on-the-ball, fun and a joy to spend time with. The first thing she did when I called her was to ask about my boyfriend and I, how we met, who we are, etc. She took such care in learning about who we were and what kind of wedding we wanted. We hired her for her day-of services, but she made herself available to us throughout the planning process, made her own site visit without us to coordinate with the hotel, and did not miss a detail.

    Our hotel was great, but they weren't as on-the-ball as we would have liked and if it wasn't for Pilar a lot of things would have fallen through the cracks. She kept the entire two-day event moving smoothly and on track. But you never felt "handled" or rushed or micro managed. She is laid back and relaxing, and really allowed us not to be stressed at all throughout the wedding.

    We only had a 70 person wedding, and all the events were on the same site, but it wouldn't have come together if it wasn't for Pilar. There are so many things she knew from having done this before, that I would have never thought of. We got so many compliments from people about Pilar.

    This was maybe the best money we spent on the wedding. If you can get Pilar, do it. You will not regret it.

    From the first time I emailed So Eventful and Marisa responded, I knew they were the ones I wanted to help coordinate my wedding. Jennifer Verdon was the local coordinator I mostly worked with and there are not enough stars to rate how amazing she is. Her punctuality and organization skills were a HUGE hit for me since I am an organized freak. She understood my vision and although I have a horrible time letting go, she executed it perfectly. Not only is she an amazing planner, she became a good friend of mine during the process and I felt completely at ease knowing the was at the steering wheel which allowed me to enjoy not only the days leading up to my wedding, but made our wedding day SO much fun! Although not everything went perfect, which is not Jennifer’s fault but some of our vendors; she was a true advocate on behalf of us and made the day perfect anyways. I would recommend So Eventful, specifically Jennifer or Marisa to coordinate any event. Thank you so much for making our Wedding day, The Best Day Ever!
