The absolute best!
My now husband and I are so incredibly thankful we chose Shannon to capture our wedding day, and our engagement shoot beforehand. Shannon made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, we had SO much fun with her at our engagement shoot that my husband even remarked how excited he was to see her again on our wedding day! Our wedding day was captured perfectly. Shannon is so organized, timely, and beyond flexible. She truly listens to you and does everything to capture your photos exactly how you describe. We’re already looking for a reason to set up a shoot with her again! We couldn’t recommend SMS Photo more, and are SO glad we hired her. -

The perfect wedding photographer!
I heard of SMS photo through my sister and I knew Shannon would deliver amazing, romantic wedding day photos. She took the time to meet us and was professional and upfront on her expectations as well as using her experience to give recommendations on design, concept and planning. We felt even more at ease after our engagement photos session and were impressed with the quick turnaround in delivery of photos. The day of our wedding Shannon was on time and was able to jump in and help guide us through our wedding day schedule without us having to stress or worry about timing. We had about 150 guests and she was not only able to focus on us and all of our moments but also capture how everyone else at the wedding enjoyed our wedding, which as a bride is so amazing to look back on. I would highly recommend using her services. -

Light and Airy and Everything in Between!
A friend of mine referred me to Shannon to do my wedding photos and once I looked on her Instagram page, I knew I HAD to have her! Her pictures were exactly what I was hoping for: light and airy with poses that were not so "staged" and more natural. When my husband and I first met Shannon we booked on the spot. Not only are her photos captivating, but so is Shannon's personality. During our engagement shoot, Shannon made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and I knew this was a great way of knowing how our wedding day was going to be. Once we saw our engagement photos, my jaw DROPPED! I couldn't imagine what our wedding day photos would be like. I was totally blown away once I saw the pictures from our wedding day! I received SO many compliments on how our pictures came out that I have already told a few of my engaged friends to book with Shannon. We have pictures that will last us a lifetime that completely captured the essence and love of the day. -

Shannon has an eye like no other! She is a creative and very talented photographer! She comes prepared for everything and anything, my dress ripped at my wedding and she whipped out a sewing kit to give to my mom!! She made me very relaxed and comfortable throughout my whole day! Highly recommend her, you won’t be disappointed! -

Not only do you feel totally comfortable with her, she even helps to wrinkle out the awkward photos (like kissing in front of a camera) by being super goofy and making you laugh and look more natural. I work as a bridal hairstylist (Do's & Dye by Julie) and often work with Shannon so I already knew how amazing she would be but now that I've received my photos back from my September wedding, I am totally blown away. Her photography style is whimsical and light and was a perfect fit for my boho themed wedding. She was with us all day long: in the hotel as I did my own hair and all of my bridal party's, catching cute behind the scenes shots, to our first look all the way through to some hysterical and amazing dancing pictures at the end of the night. I can't express how talented, affordable and enjoyable she is to work with. I highly recommend you get in touch with her for your wedding asap!
