    Everyone needs Grace in their life!

    Working with grace was one of the greatest gifts of our entire wedding experience. Working with her is a non-negotiable. Our day wouldn’t have been the same without her. She is knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, and genuinely becomes a friend first. She is someone who reminds you to breathe, be present, and actually enjoy the moments as they come. As a planner myself, I’m used to being the one managing every detail, but with her there, I didn’t have to touch a thing. I knew every vendor was taken care of, every detail handled, and everything would get done exactly as it should. She doesn’t sweat the small stuff, keeps an amazing attitude, and brings a calm confidence that instantly puts you at ease. She makes the entire day feel light and effortless—like you’re floating on a cloud with your best friend watching your back. She is a forever friend, and I will recommend her over and over again to anyone who wants a wedding day that feels joyful, seamless, and completely supported.

    We cannot recommend Grace enough! From start to finish, she made our wedding weekend feel completely effortless. Not only did she handle our wedding day flawlessly, but she also supported us with our welcome event—and both felt seamless because of her. She anticipated every detail, kept everything on track, and made sure we could just enjoy ourselves without worrying about a thing. Our guests kept raving about how smooth and organized everything felt, which is all thanks to her. She truly went above and beyond and made the entire experience stress-free. We are so grateful!

    Amazing full service planner!

    We used Grace as a full service planner for our Indian-Mexican wedding at Roche Harbor. She helped plan and organize a welcome dinner, Hindu ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and chapel wedding.

    She helped find and negotiate contracts with all our vendors, worked closely with the venue, and was an absolute savior on the day of!

    I can't recommend Grace enough. You can't go wrong with her

    Go for grace!

    If you’re looking for a coordinator who will go above and beyond to calm your nerves and ensure everything runs flawlessly, Grace is your person! She’s incredibly personable and you’ll feel like you’ve known her forever. She brings a wealth of industry experience, from catering to audio, that makes her uniquely skilled at managing vendors seamlessly. It was clear our other vendors loved working with her too.

    For our rehearsal dinner, hosted at a private home for 115 guests, Grace handled every detail. She spent an estimated 10+ hours on-site in the days leading up planning layouts, coordinating rentals, troubleshooting logistics, and delivered a seamless event. On top of that, she navigated the complexity of working with vendors who primarily spoke Chinese, without missing a beat.

    On our wedding day, Seattle threw us a rainy curveball, but Grace turned it into the best possible version of the day. She somehow knew our vision just as well as we did, despite running multiple wedding at a time - I don't know how she keeps it all straight and with such calm, but she does! Trust me, the last thing you want on your wedding day is to be the one coordinating. Hiring Grace was hands down the BEST money we spent.

    We worked with Grace for over a year to plan our wedding, and we can confidently say she’s an absolute gem.     Grace was the best wedding investment and a must-have!

    Grace was hands down the best decision we made while planning our wedding. When we started the process we oftentimes felt treated like a number. As two working professionals that typically work long hours, it was difficult to find time to chat with them and they always led with their “package” offerings. When we reached out to Grace she was kind, straightforward, and down-to-earth. Her approach is humanizing and honestly it was so refreshing. We vibed and she treated us like people, not a product. Her go-with-the-flow hybrid working style was exactly what we needed. She made time to meet with us in the evenings. Her communication skills are top notch. Discussing topics on an as-needed basis and scaling communication up/down really made the process efficient. She responds in reasonable timeframes and never leaves a question unanswered. Her vendor management skills are world class and having most of that process hidden behind the curtain was relieving. She helped with vendor recommendation, gave honest feedback based on her invaluable experience in the industry, and knows how to handle all social situations. Grace asks the right questions at the right times with minimal churn. She protected us at every decision point and constantly put us first. In addition to the wedding she helped plan our cultural ceremony with family members and only told us what we needed to know without all the drama. The amount of care she put into her work made it easy to trust her with everything and it was so worth it. Go with Grace, you won’t regret it.

    Highly recommend Grace and Smiling Rose

    We booked Grace as our wedding coordinator and it was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Grace went above and beyond our expectations - even attending a catering tasting and a rental consultation. She suggested vendors that met our price points and reviewed and provided feedback on all our vendor contracts which put our minds at ease and made sure that we were covering all our bases. Her communication was outstanding and her sense of humor was perfect for when things got stressful. During the wedding weekend, Grace easily handled all questions/concerns from immediate family members (so we didn't have to) and our wedding day was completely stress free for us. She also has a great inventory of decor items which she lent to us for the wedding. I highly recommend Grace and her team.

    Highly recommend!!!

    Grace was the day-of-coordinator for our wedding in East Lake, and we're so glad we picked her!
    In the weeks leading to the wedding she made sure we were thinking about all the small logistic details and talking to her made us feel confident that we were on track (and removed a lot of planning-induced anxiety).
    And the day of the wedding we didn't have to talk to any vendor. We were able to really enjoy the wedding reception, which is a big win for us.

    Best event planner ever

    We hired Grace as our day-of-coordinator for our wedding and it was by far the best decision we made while planning. She was so much more than a day-of, being attentive and available throughout all of the planning process. She even came to the venue with us earlier this year to help us figure out how to configure the space and answered all of my frantic texts with such patience and grace (pun intended?) when I felt anxious with certain vendors and set up details. Day of, she delivered exactly what we requested - which was to show up and leave our wedding without worry while bringing to life the design I had in mind to perfection. After many horror stories from friends having to do more than they bargained for during their wedding (tear down, set up, etc.), Grace allowed us to have a perfect day by taking care of all of the behind the scenes set up and tear down. She came to us only when absolutely necessary and had everything perfectly in place with her team and our vendors otherwise. Another great perk of working with Grace is her inventory of items! My venue was a blank slate and Grace's inventory being part of the cost of working with her allowed us to save on a bundle of miscellaneous items that would cost us more/be more of a pain to get rid of otherwise. We cannot say more good things about Grace, and frankly a review alone just doesn't justify our appreciation of her and our team for making our wedding the best it could possibly be. DO NOT HESITATE to hire Grace for any of your event needs - she is the BEST, and we feel so lucky to have gotten it right with her as our coordinator.

    Made the day easy & relaxing for this Type-A Bride

    Grace is an amazing coordinator and helped make our day wonderful and easy. A few things had not gone quite to plan, but no one noticed (including me!) thanks to Grace, her team, and her experience. I had no clue until she informed me the next day when she was dropping off our decor items. She ensured the day ran smoothly for us and our guests. Worth every penny to melt the stress away and handle all the craziness so you can enjoy the moment, which already goes by too quickly. Apologies Grace for taking so long to write this review!

    Hiring Grace was the best wedding investment we made!

    There is absolutely no way our wedding would have turned out as amazing as it did without Grace! We interviewed a few day-of-coordinators but knew immediately we wanted to work with Grace. Her creativity, organization, patience, and knowledge, is truly unmatched. I'm not exaggerating: Grace knows everything there is to know about the wedding industry and planning a wedding. She answered every single one of our questions and had sound advice on everything. Even though we hired her as a day-of-coordinator, she went way beyond that and was honestly part-planner / part-coordinator. She held monthly calls way before our actual wedding date, came to our food tasting and coordinated our choices with the caterer, traveled to a rental warehouse with us to pick out tablesettings, handled some insane family drama (including giving my sweet but very stressed mother her personal phone number), and bought, printed, and wrapped our party favors (at a bulk discount!) – all before the actual big day. During our rehearsal and wedding, Grace was organized and kept everyone on track, while still being funny and kind. She really did everything, from coordinating vendor arrival and setup, to making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time, to ensuring we actually ate food and enjoyed ourselves. All I had to worry about was showing up and having a good time. Plus, my other vendors commented on how thorough her timeline and communication was and how it included some buffer so we weren't rushing from event to event. Grace even brought her own decorations and a bubble machine for our big exit. After the reception, we went to an after party and Grace and her team packed up all of our stuff really well and dropped it off at our apartment – on top of returning other vendor rentals. Hiring Grace and her team was the BEST investment we made for our wedding and I cannot recommend her highly enough!!

    Grace is the best!

    Grace is truly incredible! I hired her late in the game, planning my own wedding until I got really stuck. She handled everything that I knew I couldn't and more. She is talented, organized, highly knowledgable and incredibly personable, kind, fun, and awesome. She had worked with so many of our vendors in the past and clearly has a vast wealth of experience. It was helpful to have someone to hold my hand through process and keep an eye out for stuff I hadn't even thought about. I tend to get anxious and overly detailed oriented. Grace was able to let me relax and enjoy the planning and especially the day itself. On the day of the wedding, in addition to coordinating everything, she also made herself available to answer questions from us/our friends/family/guests and that helped us A TON. One of the biggest things for me was that she handled the set up and break down of the event. She also tracked down a 12 -person round table in the week leading up to the wedding, so last minute, and got it to the venue because my mom had to have a certain table arrangement and the venue didn't have that specific table. That was huge for my family. The list goes on and on and on. She makes things happen. I can't thank her enough for everything she did to make our wedding weekend a wonderful experience for all.     Organized, communicative, and fun

    Grace is an awesome wedding coordinator. She handled ALL the details and I trusted her to manage all the behind the scenes work for the wedding. We got married at a venue where everything had to be brought in (tent, chairs, tables, catering, toilets, water, lighting, electrical, etc.) - and Grace managed all the minutiae beautifully. She also was fun to work with and made the process light hearted, reminding us to enjoy the ride. Thanks Grace for everything you did to make our wedding weekend a dream come true!

    Everything was perfect, thanks to Grace!

    Grace pulled it off! All the credit for our amazing wedding goes to Grace. We had gotten to the point in our wedding planning where we weren’t sure how to proceed, and working with Grace got us over the finish line. Grace is incredibly responsive and filled with ideas. As someone who finds it hard to let go and tends to project manage everything, I felt so reassured working with Grace that she would take care of it. She took on communications with our vendors (at some points, needing to be more persuasive than others!) and our venue - plus her and Erin’s help day of just running the show and making sure all of our food, drinks, decor, people got to where they needed to be at the right time, made it so easy to just show up and enjoy the day.

    She also took care of many of our decorations, with her inventory of wedding decor that was so helpful for the two of us, who had little interest in crafting or decorations but wanted things to look nice.

    Long story short:
    I’d highly recommend working with Grace if you have the opportunity - she is so lovely to work with and a consummate professional who has really seen and navigated any possible situation that might come up! You will be in the best of hands with Grace.

    Wedding must-have!!

    We cannot recommend Grace enough! She's so much more than a day-of coordinator - helping us through any questions that we had during the wedding planning process, coordinating day-of logistics, and helping our wedding weekend run seamlessly. Her team was approachable through the full process and we heard great feedback from family/guests as well.

    Happy with everything!

    We needed a day of coordinator due to our venue but also because I wanted to hand it over and be able to enjoy my wedding, Grace was super helpful during the planning process, attending our meetings with us, references, coordinating signs and just being a sounding board for all our little questions, whats normal, would this be weird etc. She was so easy to work with, day of we had Erin in charge and she kept things on schedule or gave us flexibility when we needed it. Everything went well and we're so happy with it all. Highly recommend, totally worth it.

    Grace is the best doc in seattle!

    Working with Grace was the BEST decision we made in our wedding planning. My husband and I can't recommend her enough to all the future wedding throwers!! Seriously, five stars are not enough to describe how amazing Grace is!! We had two weddings to plan, one in Korea (Nov 2021) and one in Seattle (Dec 2021). You can probably already sense how crazy and overwhelmed we were with all the wedding planning, especially in the covid-era. We first found Grace through a recommendation from our DJ. From the very first time we spoke with her, we knew we've found THE ONE. She is super down-to-earth, fun, organized, professional, and caring! Although we hired her as a day-of-coordinator, she reached out to us two months before the wedding, checking in and making sure we had everything in order for the big day. She was always available via email to answer our questions. Even when one of our vendors had to cancel on us last minute and we were doomed to do a lot of decorations ourselves, Grace helped to make sure I was stress-free on the day of (and the days leading up to it) and put together the most beautiful wedding I could ever dream of! Smiling Rose Event Planning has their own awesome docors, like hurricanes, votives, frames, easels, which couples can rent for free (what?!?!), which honestly saved our lives and our bank account! She was super easygoing, always with a smile on her face. Everyone at our wedding was impressed by Grace and Stacey (Grace's assistant). Even when I forgot to order sparklers for the sparkler going-away photos (which I was super sad about on the day of), Grace was able to talk with the venue staff to locate enough sparklers for us to use! Stacey was also amazing and so nice!! Without these two wonderful ladies, my wedding was probably not possible. Thank you so so much! We highly recommend you work with them! You won't regret it!!

    Could not have pulled it off without her

    Planning a wedding is incredibly intimidating in general, but add in COVID, a not-so-easy to get to destination during massive ferry cancelations, and dicey weather and you get a situation where having a planner can mean the difference between a perfect day and a disaster. Grace made that difference for us. Every detail she oversaw was flawless. From gorgeously pulling off a last minute site change (from a muddy garden to a dramatic fireplace-lit courtyard) to making sure as much of our cake as possible got saved (my biggest priority) Grace made it all happen. She thinks of EVERYTHING and makes herself available for all those details you simply cannot deal with both before and on your wedding day - from transporting all the decor to remembering to print out your vows to having electrolytes on hand. She even helped me ship off my bouquet for preservation the day after. I have no idea how she does it all - while staying so organized, calm and friendly. I think she must have superpowers. Just hire her. I cannot stress this enough. You'd be out of your mind to try and get married without her.

    Smiling Rose is the absolute best!

    Andy and I hit the absolute jackpot when our venue recommended working with Grace at Smiling Rose! Our wedding was at Dockside at Duke's on Lake Union October 2nd, and it wouldn't have been the event it ended up being without the amazing help by Grace! We worked with Grace via email coordinating many wedding details that I sure wouldn't have been able to wrap my head around at that stage. She has this amazing ability to quickly address a million big and little wedding details in a fun, positive way! She is extremely productive, responsive and I would absolutely recommend her for any event! The actual day of and the rehearsal we worked with Stacey at Smiling Rose and my goodness. I can't say enough how much I appreciated Stacey! She coordinated all the vendors, did all the decorations, picked up the flowers pre-wedding, corraled the groomsmen (quite the task!), communicated with the wedding party impeccably, did the little things (like checking in with those giving toasts 'how they are doing' my Dad was really appreciative of that), helped with making sure all of our items were ready to be packed up before heading out, and she just had a tremendous wonderful attitude. Our day of just wouldn't have been the same without Smiling Rose and as I mentioned, I would absolutely recommend them and hopefully will work with them again soon for another type of event!

    Best decision I made for my wedding - Smiling Rose!

    If I could give even more stars I would!!

    Grace was highly recommended to me by a friend and wow, was my friend right. She has a ton of experience, stays calm no matter what is thrown at her, is drama free, fun to work with and has great taste and judgment.

    Leading up to the wedding, Grace was easy to get a hold of and answered any question I had. She had great suggestions and always offered to help whenever she could. She really respected our budget and helped us get the most for our money, never guilting us into spending more.

    The day of the wedding she was as fun to have around as my bridesmaids (although also had an ability to be in the background when necessary!). She handled everything, including effortlessly navigating tricky family dynamics. She and her team did a beautiful job with my florals and making sure my décor was exactly how I wanted -- they really listened!

    I am so grateful to Grace and in awe of her talents.

    I highly highly recommend working with Smiling Rose Event Planning! Grace was a lifesaver in the weeks leading up to my wedding by handling communication with other vendors, creating packing lists and timelines, among many other things! She was there to answer my questions and reduce my stress! On the day of the wedding, she knew exactly what needed to be done and helped coordinate my friends and family who helped set up. She quickly solved any problems that came up during the actual event, and the best part was that I never knew there were any problems to begin with! She is communicative, organized, easy to work with, and has a great sense of humor! My friends, family, and other vendors all thought so as well!

    Would throw another wedding just to work with Grace again

    I worked with Grace to coordinate my wedding Sept 2021 at The Foundry by Herban Feast. The Foundry recommended her (she was a former employee) and I am so glad I had the chance to work with her and her team!! I worked with Grace up until the day of the wedding, then her coordinator Erin on the day of the wedding. Both were on top of it, professional, and fun to be around when celebrating such a fun occasion! Grace is so organized, puts you at ease especially when handling vendor contracts and negotiations, and throughout any fires she is calm and collected. She also makes an effort to make you feel special and like your wedding day matters. I know it never happens, but my wedding day was flawlessly executed and I felt so comfortable knowing Smiling Rose had everything under control.

    She helped select and negotiate with vendors, provided a day of wedding day timeline that she kept up to date with the latest information, provided items like hurricane candles from her own inventory, helped us coordinate our rehearsal dinner, and I could go on.

    Grace made such an impression that one of my wedding guests wants to use Smiling Rose for her upcoming wedding. I would recommend Grace and her team to anyone. They’ve got your back!

    Hands down the best!

    Our experience with Grace & Smiling Rose Event Planning was AMAZING! We really cannot say enough good things about her! Her attention to detail made everything run smoothly, even when I-90 was shut down and it took us 4 hours longer than expected to get to our rehearsal dinner. She’s got the kind of personality that gets along with everyone, and was easily able to manage all of our vendors, guests, and us with ease, while making everyone feel relaxed. She even stayed late on our wedding night to ensure we were able to close out with every last vendor and transition smoothly to the after party. We would recommend her to anyone, and hire her again in a heartbeat!

    Absolutely wonderful!

    I almost chose not to hire a day of coordinator, but I am SO GLAD that we hired Grace! We absolutely would NOT have had the wedding we had without her help and guidance. She made the day run incredibly smoothly. She thought of all of the little details that we hadn't thought about. When I saw that the wrong color napkins had been placed on our reception tables, she was able to work her magic and by the time of the ceremony, we had the right napkins. She's the perfect balance of friendly/fun but also gets shit done. She really thought of so many things (down to having paper straws to put in the water bottles she brought for me so I wouldn't mess up my lipstick). So many of my bridesmaids and family commented on how amazing she was - one of my bridesmaids isn't even in a relationship and has already said she want's to hire Grace whenever she gets married! I would absolutely recommend Grace and Smiling Rose for anyone who wants to be able to fully enjoy their wedding day.

    An essential addition to your big day!!

    I don't even know where to start in writing this review except to say - you NEED Grace as your day-of coordinator. She remained very in touch throughout the planning process and was happy to jump in on all of our vendor meetings leading up to the big day. She is sweet, high-energy, extremely organized and on top of absolutely every detail. Our big day went off without a hitch. Grace ensured that all of our vendors were aware of plans and timelines, directed our bridal party and families throughout the evening and kept everyone on schedule. She is a must-have!

    Best money we spent on our wedding!

    Short & to the point review…
    Grace and Smiling Rose Event Planning & Production is honesty THE BEST MONEY we spent on our entire wedding. If you only want to read a one paragraph review - Grace is organized, a blast to work with, an incredible project manager, and I would recommend her and her team to anyone for any event. Our wedding party/family were in awe of her hard work and ability to hammer out details and get things done. Given the opportunity again, we would hire her in a heartbeat - 10/5 stars.

    My husband and I are both very type A; detail oriented, organized, typical “planners”. We were on the fence about hiring a coordinator as we thought we could handle it ourselves, but we finally decided to pull the trigger based on advice from other married couples. We found Smiling Rose via our venue, Roche Harbor Resort, as a preferred vendor. We decided to go with her "day of coordination" option. Grace's services went FAR beyond "day of" - she jumped in immediately, got on a first-name basis with all of our vendors (talking with each of them multiple times leading up to the wedding), and handled every tiny detail that we could possibly think of (with an incredible attitude) for the entire wedding weekend. We, along with our guests, were absolutely in awe of Grace, her work ethic, and her ability to make it all happen.

    We quickly learned that our event was in very good hands, and it felt like a breath of fresh air. We stopped stressing/worrying about the details and were able to put our trust in Grace right off the bat.

    We leaned on Grace for a lot of things – set up/tear down, running errands, keeping guests comfortable in the record heat, managing our vendors and their travel to San Juan Island, the list goes on. She even set up our entire Sunday brunch at a private residence the morning after the wedding (floral arrangements, décor, picking up food/ice, creating beautiful food platters – she literally did the entire thing).

    We asked Grace for advice along the way (how do you think we should set this space up?, what’s the right timeline for this…?, how much should we be tipping?) and she was incredibly helpful, selfless, honest, and sincere.

    We were able to truly enjoy our entire wedding weekend without a moment of stress, and we have Grace to thank for that. She is one of the hardest workers we've ever encountered. She is an outstanding project manager and can be a tough cookie - which is exactly what we didn't know we needed. She was prepared for anything and everything (even carries an emergency kit - she had fans for my bridesmaids and I, heel stoppers for the girls with stilettos who were nervous about sinking into the grass, snacks for the other vendors... the list goes on).

    Again, 10/5 stars – highly recommend Grace to anyone and everyone!!!

    Thank goodness for Grace!

    I felt super comfortable with Grace from the initial phone call. She is warm, friendly, and caring, which are definite musts for a wedding coordinator.

    She is also extremely organized, detailed, and level-headed, which really helped me leading up to the wedding, especially with all our last-minute changes due to Covid. Although I booked her as a day-of coordinator, her package really includes so much more, and we were in contact pretty much throughout the whole planning process. It was so reassuring to know I had someone who could handle all the small details that I was trying to corral in my head.

    On the day of the wedding, I was able to let go and know that everything was taken care of! There were a few moments when I remembered something that needed doing, but Grace had already done it! She took care of set-up, being the point of contact for the other vendors, organizing/cueing our wedding party (with no rehearsal), playing the music, transitioning for our cake cutting and champagne toast, clean-up, and probably many more things I didn't notice behind the scenes. We were able to completely relax and enjoy our wedding, thanks to Grace!

    I wouldn't hesitate to have Grace coordinate a future event!

    Super on top of everything and an amazing person!

    I cannot say enough great things about Grace. My husband and I had a simple vision for our wedding: have fun, make our guests feel welcome, and be stress-free. Grace listened to what we wanted and performed way above expectations! Her attention to detail blew us away. She gave us a thorough timeline leading up to the wedding so we had clear expectations about which decision needed to be made when. She is a great communicator, and took all the vendors off my hands. Any time we needed a suggestion or felt stuck, Grace helped us move forward. She handled our rehearsal dinner (setup AND cleanup), ceremony and reception. She was recommended to me by my maid of honor who was married two years ago and my husband and I feel extremely lucky that Grace was able to help with our wedding! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a planner who really listens, is experienced and truly cares that the day will go the way YOU want it.

    Grace is amazing!

    If I could give an extra star I would! Grace helped us navigate the crazy world of wedding vendors and always had amazing advice for best practices and how to turn conceptual ideas into something really special. Honestly, she blew us away with how flawlessly all the details came together! As the bride, I was able to go into the wedding day and not even have a concern or thought about how things were going at the venue - I had so much confidence and faith in Grace and she killed it! In addition, she made the whole process FUN, which to me is as good as it gets. I would recommend Grace to anyone for event planning - we are still getting compliments from guests about how great the day was and that is in large part due to her efforts to get us across the finish line!

    Grace and Erin with Smiling Rose were the best to work with. Grace, who owns Smiling Rose, was very organized from day one. I never had an issue getting ahold of Grace and her responses were always quick. She was a great soundboard throughout the planning process and provided great advice. One of the best things she did was completely own the rehearsal. Our officiant was my husband’s father who had never officiated a ceremony before. Needless to say we were all rookies. Grace took over and ran the entire group through the ceremony flow, which was the biggest help! Our families were so impressed! She also has décor you can borrow for your big day. We ended up borrowing a lot for the welcome party we hosted the night before our wedding. This was a great perk of working with Grace. Erin was whom we had for our actual day. We received multiple compliments on Erin from our guests at how wonderful she was on the big day. She was so sweet and handled everything flawlessly. My husband and I always knew where we had to be and what we had to be doing. Grace and Erin worked hand-in-hand up to our big day and they were the perfect duo. I would recommend Smiling Rose to any bride or groom! Worth every penny!

    Grace truly is the biggest asset that you can have on your wedding team. I had Grace for my day-of wedding coordinator and I cannot say enough nice things. I am a rather organized bride and Grace put me to shame. She is so organized and due to her extensive industry knowledge, she thinks of things that would have never even crossed my mind. My day went off without a hitch because of how incredible Grace is. She is cool under pressure, a talented communicator and all around amazing to be around. Her energy is exactly what I needed for my wedding and she meticulously managed endless details and vendors. I could not have had my wedding day without Grace, she was the most valuable person to have by my side. You will not find someone as dedicated, thoughtful and all around talented as Grace. I was beyond impressed with her and her team. I highly recommend her to anyone that wants a flawless wedding.

    Do you need a team that is going to be there when you need them,and when you didn't realize you'd need them? Take care of all the details, and the ones you hadn't thought of yet, so you know need to worry? And make sure that you are having the time of you life (along with your partner, mom, siblings and all of your guests)? Then hire Grace and her team at Smiling Rose. They came in and knocked our socks off. And did it with a fun and relax air about them. Having Smiling Rose as a part of my wedding was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

    Highly recommend using Grace as your wedding coordinator. Cannot believe the impact she had - not only on the end result, but on the whole process. Her expertise, connections in the industry, and positive energy gave us the confidence to relax and enjoy the days leading up to the wedding, and more importantly, allowed us to focus our attention on each other during our big day - every little detail was handled for us (and handled exceptionally well).     In our initial meeting, Grace asked questions about details that hadn’t even occurred to me yet and made sure that she totally understood who we are as a couple and what we were looking for to create our perfect wedding. She got me so excited about all of the possibilities and then took it upon herself to make them all come true. Her services were especially invaluable the day of our wedding as she made sure everything went off without a hitch. The venue was so beautifully decorated, guests were taken care of, the ceremony went exactly as planned. Grace truly went above and beyond what I had expected in a wedding planner and I honestly don’t know what would have happened had it not been for her. Any problems that arose were taken care of before I even heard about them and I was able to be totally present and enjoy the day. We were able to leave the ceremony and have everything that was left behind totally taken care of. Our wedding was so stress-free and beautiful, I can’t thank Smiling Rose Planning enough for all of their hard work and the part they played in such a special day.

    Grace is a beautiful & rare hybrid of creative and realistic. Her catering background has attributed to an excellent eye for detail, and (at the risk of sounding like a broken record) I can't say enough how much her realism enhances her events in the long run. She plans beautiful events, but also events that just *WORK* which is huge. While she's a master at "making-it-work" -- an important skill in the events industry -- I think she's super great at her job because she plans things in a way that make sense.

    Her diligence and dedication to her clients is another huge motivating factor for us in recommending Grace. She's fun and funny, but also extremely client-focused and it shows through in the creative details she incorporates into her events. (Please note, I was not a bride but a vendor partner. The date provided was solely so I could leave this lovely lady a review.)

    One of the best wedding decisions we made

    Grace and Stacy are absolute rock stars! They took my vision and made it into reality. My husband and I both agree that after our venue, having Grace as our coordinator was the best money spent in our wedding budget. She was able to accommodate everything we wanted in our schedule, and when it was the day of the wedding I didn’t have to worry about a thing because I knew everything was in the best possible hands. She rolled with any pop-up so smoothly it’s obvious she has a contingency plan for anything. I was juggling last minute guest count adjustments and she passed the information along to catering, adjusted seating, and got back to me in under FIVE minutes. Her organization is off the charts, and she uses Google Drive to make it even easier. Schedules, VIPs, vendor details, it’s all safe in one space. I could add info about the wedding, vendors, and other details knowing she would see it.

    If there is ONE must-have vendor out there for every wedding, it’s Grace and her team.

    Thank you for making our wedding day unforgettable! We won’t be able to think of the day without thinking of you.

    The best money we spent for our wedding

    Hiring Grace and her team was the best money we spent on our wedding. Grace went above and beyond as our day of coordinator and made our wedding so stress free. As someone who is a control freak it was so perfect for me to have someone i could trust to take over and it allowed me to relax and have the best time ever. Grace is intuitive, has a great attention to detail, works her butt off, and is an absolute pleasure to work with. I would recommend hiring her 1000 percent!     Grace is the reason our wedding was as beautiful as it was. She is also the reason we had a stress-free and smooth wedding day. She was supposed to be our month of/day of coordinator, but she was so much more than that. We asked her to do so many tasks that were technically not specified in our contract (like figuring out babysitting options for guests with children, researching the best deals for a hotel suite for us the night before and night of the wedding, finding reasonable hotel blocks and other accommodation for our guests, and researching rehearsal dinner venues). She simply told us "yes, I can take care of that, no problem."

    In addition to all the extra help she provided, she was incredible in the days leading up to our wedding. We decided to DIY our decor (driftwood with succulents/moss for centerpieces/cake table decor and hurricane vases filled with water and white orchids with clear beads at the bottom for our centerpieces/aisle decor), which definitely made more work for Grace. I had become quite the control-freak during our nine months of planning, but had to hand off everything to her to set up/decorate as she saw fit because I would not have time the day of the wedding. She did a better job decorating our space than I ever could have done. Not only is she a fabulous coordinator/decorator, she also provided decor items for free as part of her services. All of our hurricane vases and votive candles holders (plus floating candles and votive candles) were provided by Grace. Grace also picked up our cake from our vendor (since they did not deliver to Vashon Island where our wedding was located) and made sure it was kept cool until our ceremony started.

    She was completely calm throughout our planning and wedding day, even when we had hiccups (like us losing our marriage certificate). Honestly, I would have been a basket-case at our wedding without Grace. She is a gem, and we can't thank her enough for everything she did for us.
