    I spoke with four day-of planners before deciding on Six Twenty Events for my wedding. After chatting with Stephanie (the owner) just once my now-husband and I knew she was the one for us. She did not disappoint! Stephanie is experienced, reliable, bright, and pleasant. My wedding and reception had a lot of moving parts with quite a few vendors (valet, car service, cake, caterer, tents, alcohol delivery, flowers, venue, ceremony musicians, reception musicians, etc). She maintained communications with all of them during the final month. Having planned the entire wedding on my own up, handing off the reigns on the day-of made me a bit nervous, but my wedding ran beautifully all thanks to Stephanie and her team. I recommend her services fully and entirely - you won't be disappointed!

    We hired Stephanie for Day Of Wedding services, but she went above and beyond and did much more. She visited our venue more than once, delivered our welcome gifts to hotels, brought other things to the venue, ran interference with vendors, including helping with what could've been a serious problem with a hotel our family and friends were at. She exudes and demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude. She was very organized. She and her crew did a great job at the wedding itself. Her fee is very reasonable. We would definitely recommend her for any event you are considering.

    Stephanie did such an amazing job to make sure our wedding went off without a hitch. I decided to move, start a new teaching job, and get married all within 2 months of each other and having Stephanie was such a big help. I would have been pulling my hair out if it was not for Stephanie. I felt so comfortable putting my wedding in her hands. She came over to my house (pretty far from her in DC) to go over all the details and emailed me daily the week before the wedding as we tried to decide what was going to happen with the impending hurricane that may or may not happen on Saturday :) (It didn't happen luckily!) She communicated with all my vendors when we were making rainy day decisions so I can enjoy my time with all my out of town guests. It was so nice to have her and have peace of mind when enjoying my big day!

    Where do we start? Elena and I were really nervous to hire a "day of" wedding coordinator - solely because of the fear of not really knowing the person prior to hiring. We feel soooo lucky that we found Stephanie! Stephanie had a few plans to choose from - we chose the "month of" wedding coordinator plan. When we met her at Starbucks for our initial meeting, Elena and I picked her out among all the other "Starbuckers" because she looked very organized, professional, but also approachable. We interviewed two wedding coordinators from Thumbtack and really liked both of them. Ultimately, we hired Stephanie. She was absolutely excellent! Stephanie coordinated with all of our vendors starting one month before the wedding. That was such a relief! She delivered our welcome bags to the hotel for us, met us and vendors at the venue a month before the wedding to go over the plan, and very professionally inserted her suggestions and took charge as needed. Most notably, on our wedding day, with just 1 hour available for setup at the venue (a VA winery), she and her crew setup all of our decorations, seating charts, cornhole, ladder ball game and much more. She just seemed to have everything together and Elena and I felt so very relieved to have her part of the day. I should also add that somehow Stephanie was able to manage our very excited and helpful family members during the setup process. Strange thing is, we didn't see much of Stephanie during the wedding - she was working all the behind the scenes and everything was flawless. She didn't have many questions for us during the wedding.. she just handled everything. We had so much fun at our own wedding and with our family and friends. Thank you Stephanie and your crew for taking away the stress on the wedding day and letting us truly enjoy ourselves. I don't think we would have had such a carefree time without you guys.     Stephanie Moran was awesome! She was so easy to work with and had great advice during my planning! I was able to reach out to her anytime and she always responded right away. My wedding day was FANTASTIC, I didn't have to worry about a thing Stephanie and her team did an amazing job they took care of everything and it was perfect !

    My Husband and I couldn’t have been happier with our decision to not only bring on a coordinator to help leading up to our Wedding, but to specifically work with Stephanie and her team at Six-Twenty Events. We were ideally looking for a day-of coordinator, but decided to move forward with Stephanie with more of a month-of and somebody to consult with throughout. From the moment we had our first meeting I felt at ease. Stephanie was my go-to throughout our wedding planning process on all things related to etiquette, somebody to bounce ideas off of, coordination and more. In the weeks leading up to our Wedding, Stephanie really took over a lot of the coordination with our vendors and ensured everything was seamless on our big day. The day-of, Stephanie and her team were totally on top of things and if anything went wrong, we had no idea. We even forgot to have milk for our two young ring bearers and she sent somebody to head down the street to get something as to avoid a meltdown. Her teams willingness to do whatever it took to make our day special from the most minor to the most important details did not go unnoticed. Multiple guests and our parents even called out how sweet Stephanie and her team were and saw the value in having Six-Twenty Events there throughout the day. I would definitely recommend Six-Twenty Events to all future brides and anybody looking to plan a seamless event!

    Stephanie coordinated the Grand Opening for our first DC Office. She was spectacular. Stephanie covered all of the details, big and small, thinking of so many things I never would have. She took care of working with the caterer, bartenders, valet parking, baked good, rentals, and décor. It all was seamless and I didn't have to worry about a thing! I highly recommend Six-Twenty Events. Top notch all the way.

    Stephanie and her team at Six-Twenty worked as my wedding planner. Even at our first site meeting, her attention to detail, taking notes and asking questions - she was a consummate professional. She helped me manage my details perfectly. On the day of the wedding, she arrived early with team, and worked tirelessly to set up, manage vendors, decorate the site beautifully and then direct everyone prior to the ceremony. During the ceremony she and her staff paid attention to details and were constantly (and quietly) on the move, making certain everything went as planned. She even noticed when our cakes began "melting" a bit and was quick to get them into a fridge until we needed them. And as our day ended, she made sure everything was taken care of, and she thought of things that I did not! I would HIGHLY recommend her, as you are going to be in great hands on your big day!

    Stephanie was extremely professional and on-top of our planning. Even though she was only our "day-of" coordinator, we felt that she went above and beyond her role to help us feel prepared for the event.

    One of the best decisions while planning our daughters wedding was to hire Stephanie Moran/ Six-Twenty Events! Stephanie has a great personality and high sense of responsibility. Her organizational skills far exceeded our expectations! She had a solution for every problem/concern and had the expertise necessary to guarantee a smooth and trouble-free flow of the wedding ceremony and celebration. For me - the mother of the bride - she made it possible to enjoy the wedding of my daughter and never worry once!
    Thank you Stephanie! You are worth a million but your fees are actually very reasonable.
    Now, I am looking forward to hiring you again for the baby shower - soon to be :)

    Stephanie helped me hosts a client party in my home. She approached the party with creativity and helped to make it really special. She took care of all of the day-of details and most if not all of the leading up to event details. It freed me up to do what I was supposed to do - host the party. I will use her again and again! Hire her!

    Stephanie is wonderful! She is organized, reliable, detail oriented and friendly. Stephanie goes above and beyond to put out fires that you'll never even know started on you wedding day. If you want everything to go smoothly you can count on her! Then, just sit back and enjoy.

    Six-Twenty Events, specifically Stephanie Moran, my Day of Coordinator made my wedding day even more perfect than I ever could have dreamed. My tablescapes and decor were exactly as I envisioned, even though Stephanie had only ever seen a photograph of a mock up I had done a few days before the wedding. When it came time to moving my guests from the cocktail hour to the reception, Stephanie was tactful, but managed to get the group moved to the reception room and seated in a timely fashion. She kept the entire flow of the day running seamlessly and if there were any issues, I did not find out about it. In addition, Stephanie removed and packed all of our items from the reception venue and, as requested, locked them all neatly in our car at the hotel at the end of the evening. The day after the wedding, Stephanie returned my rented cake stand to our bakery, nearly 30 miles away from our venue.

    Stephanie went so far above and beyond what I would expect of a DOC. For one, I had hired a DOC who cancelled on me about a month prior to my wedding, and Stephanie stepped in and took on the challenge with very little time to prepare. Second, at our initial meeting, I was nearly 45 minutes late, and she patiently waited for me, at a compromise to her own personal schedule. Third, I found out late in the evening that one of my guests had overindulged in alcohol. Initially Stephanie went out of her way to call a cab, when the cab didn't show up after a period of time, she drove my guest back to the hotel and promptly returned to the reception. I didn't even know she had gone. Lastly, I had multiple guests at my wedding tell me how helpful she was to them throughout the evening and how sweet and kind she was to everyone.

    Overall, I would definitely recommend Six-Twenty Events to anyone in the Washington DC Metro area. Stephanie's professionalism is outstanding. I will most definitely use Six-Twenty Events again in the future for my next big soiree.
