BEST Wedding Hair & Makeup!

I booked Singar Studio for my wedding and I loved Leena! She is incredibly talented at hair and makeup and truly made me feel like a princess. To begin with, she very graciously moved dates with us two times because we rescheduled our wedding weekend due to the pandemic. She really took the time to understand what I wanted for all of my looks. During the wedding weekend, Leena and her team were meticulous with my bridal mehndi and I was blown away by the extensive designs she created for me on my hands, arms, feet - it was stunning! I have never felt so gorgeous as I did at each of my wedding events -she really puts in the effort to make every unique "look" come to life just like I wanted. She put together complex bridal hair styles, beautiful makeup, and helped with the dupata draping as well. Her team also did my mother, sister, and mother in law hair and makeup and mehndi. She is sweet and kind, and she felt like part of the family while doing all of my events. I would 100% recommend her for your wedding events!

Talented makeup artist providing glamorous looks!

I had a very special opportunity to have Leena from Singar Studio as my makeup artist, not once but twice! We had originally planned our big wedding for 2020, but like many other brides we had to postpone our big day to 2021. We still had an intimate backyard wedding on our original day for which she created two different styles, one for our Indian wedding and one for our evening celebration. She captured in the best way possible all the ideas and pictures I shared during our trial and made the perfect look for me! She really made me feel like a princess bride! She also created a beautiful bridal Mehendi inspired by peacocks, it was elegant without being overly elaborate. We later had the opportunity to celebrate our bid wedding with our family and friends at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines on May of 2021. This was a glamorous wedding combining both my Latin culture and my husband’s Indian culture and Leena was able to blend both styles and cultures together with a hot Latina look for our Latin wedding and night celebration and a sparkly gold and silver look for our wedding reception! I hope to have the opportunity to work with Leena and her team again, she is both talented and a kind soul!

Leena is the BEST. I am fortunate to have her as a part of Most Awaited Moments of my life. Leena did my Bridal Mehendi along with Guest Mehendi, Guest Makeovers, South Indian Bridal Makeovers for my Bridal Ceremony, Wedding and Reception. She suggested me the best makeup and hairstyles for all my events on the Day I went for my Trial and she did her best to replicate that on me. The most memorable thing was my Reception Makeover, Leena actually asked me for atleast 2 Hours for Makeover, even though I couldn't give her enough time, he did her best to make me look pretty and eye catchy in 45 min. I am so happy and will choose Singar Studio for any of my upcoming events.

I highly recommend Singar Studio to all brides who are specially looking for a perfect makeover.

Leena and her co-artist Were amazingly talented. She did my make up, hair, and mehndi. She also did my mom and sisters full service. She is very flexible, approachable, and works very well with feedback. She explains everything beforehand and make sure we are both happy. She did my sister’s wedding and we had her pleasure of working with her again for my wedding. I would definitely recommend her to all my friends and family.

Leena did my bridal henna, guest henna, garba/sangeet makeover, wedding ceremony and reception makeover. I don't know much about hair/makeup but since my trial, she gave great recommendations and answered all of my questions. During the weekend, Leena was so amazing!! She took my choices into consideration and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my looks. She solved any issues quickly and efficiently. I had my makeup done with Leena for two events of my marriage and the outcome was absolutely stunning! I am new to the area and Tushar really helped to accommodate me within their already booked schedule for the holiday season. He was very helpful and took care of managing everything on a timely manner. His communication via text/ call and assistance really helped!

Leena is very engaging and does a beautiful job doing her work. What I had envisioned she made into reality and I couldnt be more than happy to have gotten so blessed with my results! She provided me with the bold bride look I was desiring for both days, even though one was traditional and the other modern. She took her time perfecting my hair/makeup and I never felt rushed. She adjusted my jewelry and did draping of my clothes so effortlessly, that I felt very comfortable going into the hall with confidence. Even though I had not gotten a trial done, I trusted her on my special occasion as I have heard she is the best in the Austin area. I would definitely recommend others to her as she works with her heart <3.

I had contacted Leena a week before my wedding and even with her busy schedule, was able to accommodate not just mine, but also my family members with their make-up and mehndi requests. Leena is an amazing make-up and mehndi artist, par excellence. She's very professional to work with and has reasonable prices. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any bride that needs customized make-up according to their specific bridal look. Wedding planning can be stressful sometimes, but if you get a chance to hire Leena as your make-up/mehndi artist, I'd say that's one less thing to worry about because she will do a spectacular job.

I cannot express in words how fantastic and amazing Leena is! She is so accommodating, patient, kind, genuine...the list goes on! When I first contacted her I knew I wanted her to be a part of my big day and she was very helpful and did a trial on me the same day I met her. We were always in communication and she responded to my questions and concerns very quickly.
We did another trial a few weeks before my wedding day, and she made sure I was comfortable with the look and hairstyles we decided on and if I didn't like something or wanted to change it she started over and made sure I was happy. She was with me for my mehendi (which was absolutely beautiful), sangeet night, wedding day, and reception. All of my looks for these events were stunning and I felt like a queen.

Not only did she take care of me, but she provided amazing looks for my mom and sister. They were both extremely happy and impressed with the outcome. I couldn't have been happier.

On another note, Singar Studio has a very unique and elegant jewelry collection. I purchased my bridal set from them and received so many compliments. Leena does a wonderful job in helping select the jewelry for you - she takes time in matching it with your outfit and putting it on you to get an idea of the whole look. Everyone was impressed with how intricate and detailed the jewelry set looked. It is very beautiful and I highly recommend purchasing jewelry here! I will definitely purchase from them in the future!

I highly recommend Singar Studio to all brides. Leena is truly the best and she will take care of you on your big day. I am so happy I had the privilege to have her there with me on my special day. Thank you so much Leena!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars because Leena was absolutely amazing to work with! I truly LOVED every moment I spent with her from my bridal mehndi through all 3 of my bridal makeovers for Garba, Wedding and Reception. Planning a destination wedding in the Caribbean from California, I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to do a trial or even meet Leena in advance. I took a leap of faith based on her portfolio and all of the glowing reviews and I couldn’t have been any happier when I finally did meet her – she is so incredibly talented and sweet.

Everyone raved about her mehndi saying it was the best they’d ever seen and I received so many compliments on each of my different looks – I even had strangers stop to ask if they could take photos with me :) Leena is so meticulous in her craft, it truly is a work of art. Ms. Leena Bajaj is an absolute makeup and hair GENIUS! Planning a destination wedding can be very stressful, especially for a girl who has to rely SOLELY on internet reviews and pictures for her hair and makeup artist. I took a huge risk in signing a contract with Singar Studios without any personal references or a trial - and it was the best decision I could have made! Tushar was the first and last person I consulted with, and I immediately felt at ease after just one phone call. This husband and wife manager/artist duo is truly commendable with the seamless way they handle their business and ensure their clients' happiness. All of my friends who were with me while getting ready (who would normally expect an anxious, nervous bridezilla) kept commenting on how calm I was, and I can hands down say it was solely because Leena was there. Leena did a phenomenal job at both my mehendi and rukhsati events! I had gone to her last year for my nikkah makeup and she did such a wonderful job that I only had one person in mind for my shadi reception! I went with the bridal package with hennah, mehendi makeup, and shaadi/rukhsati makeup. My mehendi was absolutely gorgeous and the color was perfect! My makeup for both days was exactly as I had dreamed it would be. I received many compliments thanks to Leena!

Thank you so much for an amazing weekend!!! I'm *still* getting compliments on my mehndi (which, almost three weeks later, still hasn't completely worn off my palms!) and have you to thank for it!!!

Tushar, the planning process was a long one for us (literally, as we were engaged for almost 3 years before the wedding!), but you were always so understanding of the random requests we had and willing to accommodate us and work with our schedules, and we thank you so much for your understanding and flexibility!

Leena, I don't have enough words to express how grateful I am (as our both of our moms and my bhabhi) for everything you did for us! Literally everyone who sees our pictures wants to know who did my hair and makeup (and especially mehndi--the glitter was a huge hit, even with our guests from India, as literally no one had ever seen anything like it!) You were so easy to work with, and I loved that I could show you my outfit and tell you what I liked, and you could then design an entire look that was so much more than I could have ever dreamed of! I loved the way my hair/makeup for all the events looked as you were doing it, but didn't realize how much more beautiful it would turn out in the pictures!!! Leena is absolutely amazing! She did my mehendi, makeup, and hair for 5 events over the course of my wedding weekend, as well as the same for my mom and sister. She was available from day 1 to answer any questions and concerns I had. she took the time to fly out to my home for a trial as I was unable to come to her. The trial was incredibly helpful as I got to finally meet her and learn what a kind, warm-hearted, comforting person she is. She spent hours helping me choose my hairstyles and fashion my outfits and jewelry in unique and stylish ways. She completely transformed all three of us to look flawless and glamorous at the wedding and we still haven't stopped receiving compliments on our hair, makeup, and mehendi. Leena provided hair, makeup, and mehndi services for my destination wedding in Cancun. Leena did an absolutely amazing job with my henna, hair, and makeup for my wedding. There are not enough words to say how wonderful is Leena! From day one she was very professional, straight forward, welcoming and understanding. We had talked on the first day about all her services...i wanted to make sure that she did contouring, bright lips and hairstyle with natural hair! SHE DOES IT ALLL!!!!! She keeps up with new/modern make up looks!
Leena did Makeup, Jewelry setting, sari setting and Make up trial. She was well prepared for her make up trial and we tried two differnt looks for each event. I had two completely different eye colors for my wedding and reception and Leena did an amazing job with both of them.
I got so many compliments about my make up on the day of my wedding and in pictures too. I looked picture perfect:)
she is very punctuate as well. She was on time to all my events and kept me on time too! I had plenty of time to do pictures and take all my calls.
She is very friendly and kind. Got along with all my bridesmaids and helped me relax before the wedding!!!!

I love the fact that Leena is a one stop shop, Leena does bridal makeup, hair and dress up. This was very important for me, because the last thing I as a bride wanted was to be running from one place to the next on my wedding day. On my wedding day I pretty much walked out of the shower and into Leena place and she took care of the rest. Leena is very professional and has a lot of experience in putting a bride together. Honestly speaking when I saw Leena rates for the first time I felt they were a bit pricy; However when I saw all that Leena puts into preparing a bride, from top to bottom and with such quality , I felt that she may not charge enough. The service she provides is phenomenal!! Her quality is never compromised! She took her time and did her best and them some to give me the exact look I wanted for my very special day! I also loved my mehndi design! I picked out the design online and was a bit worried, because, you know things always look way better in pictures. I have to say that my Mehndi design came out even better then the design I picked. Not only did Leena incorporate designs that I wanted, she also has other fabulous and up to date ideas! She knows them all, Arabic, Traditional, I mean you name it! Leena was at all my functions in full spirit as if it was her sister getting married! It never felt like she was an outsider even when she was doing my Mehndi the night before we had so much fun, we had girlfriends over, we had the music playing, we were eating. It was exactly how a Shadi wala house should be! The Indian wedding environment. It was due to Leena’s outgoing and easy going nature that we were able to create a very fun welcoming, traditional Indian environment. I loved it!!!! It still amazes me that Leena is such a professional that she can do make up and Mehndi wearing sari or even shalwar suit. My makeup and mehndi was Picture Perfect! Exactly the way I imagined it would be. I can’t believe my hair can look that good w/o a flat iron. Leena took the time to see how my hair works in its most natural state and from there she suggested ideas on what would work best! I like that because no one ever understand my hair. Leena is a very sweet natured person. She really goes out of her way to assist the bride and is very accommodating. I also noticed that she made several personal sacrifices; you just don’t find service like that any where anymore. I mean on my wedding day she realized that I didn’t have any jewelry on my left hand during my reception so she literally took off her karda from her arm and put it on mine. I was speechless. I won’t have been happier and more satisfied anywhere else!
I love the fact that Leena stays very updated on current styles and fashions. She herself has exceptional taste in clothes and jewelry! She notices and therefore concentrates on details and I love that about her! She is a perfectionist! She is fun, inviting and very friendly and great at everything she does! Many bridal make up artists make you look like someone completely different. Leena makes you look like a more perfected version of what you actually look like.

She did my wedding make up after a bridal trial where we discussed everything I liked and didn't like. Unlike most Indian brides, I only got one "look" for the whole day. I showed her both outfits and sets of jewelry and she found a way to make a look that would go with both outfits and last all day. She even suggested an eye shadow I could buy to put on myself after she left that would be a simple way to add something different to my evening look.

Her team also did my bridesmaids and mother's hair, and a few of their makeups. They were efficient and finished ahead of schedule! Everyone looked so beautiful.

I can't say enough good words about Leena ! She took care of me for my Mehndi and Shaddi and I felt like a princess ! She listened to exactly what I wanted and what I envisioned. She truly cares about her brides and takes the time to listen. Both days were different looks and I felt like I was in the right hands with her. Tushar is also very responsive and there's no one else I'd want to work with for my wedding other then Leena in Austin !

Leena and her crew are absolutely INCREDIBLE. We used Leena for all 4 of my events (Hindu ceremony, Sangeet, Sikh Ceremony & Reception) + for my mehndi. During my wedding week, Leena did everything she could to make me feel comfortable -- she made me feel at ease throughout the entire week (and let me sleep while getting ready at 4:30am each morning!). She listened to every idea I had in mind for each of my looks and elevated those ideas to the next level. Her work was flawless! Also- we arranged for my entire bridal party to get hair/makeup/draping done and they all looked absolutely stunning. We ALL loved working with Leena - she's the best MUA out there! I was searching for Desi bridal makeup artists a week before my event (a Pakistani Walima held on June 4, 2011) and Leena was flexible enough to fit me in her schedule with such little advance notice! Leena's price for her services were higher compared to other artists that I contacted in the area, but I truly believe she was worth every penny. I made appointments with other artists prior to contacting Leena, but after I talked to her, I cancelled those appointments. I was very comfortable with Leena and I noticed her professionalism as soon as I talked to her on the phone to make an appointment. She let me see her a few days before the event for a trial session (very important!) so that she could see my wedding outfit and come up with a few choices of makeup looks she thinks will suit me. She did my makeup in the trial session and let me choose which look I was most comfortable with and thought looked the best on me (blue and silver color scheme to go with my lehenga). She also showed me some hairstyles and let me choose which one I liked the most. I chose a long curly ponytail extension which was awesome (nobody could tell that it was not my hair)! As far as her makeup skills, I would rank her very high compared to other artists I have come across. I especially noticed that she blended my eyeshadow very well and chose and applied foundation that basically transformed the way my skin looks. The quality of her makeup products itself is also very excellent. I already had my mehndi done from my shaadi/rukhsati day, or else I would have gotten that done from her too! I can not emphasize enough how relaxing it was to work with Leena. She communicates very well and answers all of your questions, so you know exactly what to expect in the whole process of using her services up to the wedding day. She was also nice enough to recommend some people for me to go to for facial treatments and threading before my wedding day. The day of my event, she came to my location (also very important!) on time, and fully prepared to get me ready! She applied my makeup, styled my hair, and pinned up my dupatta and helped me put on my jewelry. She finished getting me ready well ahead of time (if I remember correctly, it took about 2.5 hrs), but not too quickly. She was able to take lots of pictures of me with her camera and I was able to make my entrance to my event on time! My husband was also very impressed with the finished look. At my event, I received several compliments on my makeup and hair from the ladies, and I gave Leena Bajaj's name to everyone who asked!
Overall, the most memorable thing for me working with Leena was how relaxing, stress-free, and professional the experience was. These things really helped create a positive wedding experience for me!

Amazing, Multi-Talented

Leena and her co-artist were great. They did my Mehendi, hair, make-up and saree draping. I had a couple of friends who needed mehendi and saree draping at the last minute and she was flexible and accommodating. I would definitely recommend her to all my friends and family.

Leena Bajaj has done my hair/makeup/mendhi a total of three times. During my sister, sister in law, and my own wedding! I have been please each and every time with all of the services. I always tell Leena to do whatever she wants with my hair and make up... I trust her that much with her work! She has never failed to impress me. As I was figuring out which vendors to choose for my wedding makeup/hair I stumbled across Leena's Singar Studio page and just fell in love with her abilities. She does it all, and that's exactly what I wanted. Instead of getting two or three different people to do my hair, makeup, mehndi, jewelry and of course (my biggest concern) dupatta draping! I got it all done by one person! And she's amazing at it! I love the quality of her makeup and her variety of each makeup look. She is very talented and you will not regret doing business with her. She is a very sweet and patient person, I have never seen someone work so hard and actually still keep a smile on their face. I remember that she had told me she had two brides booked on the same weekend and I was one of them. She said she was traveling from Dallas to Austin back to back days because the other bride also needed to get her mehndi done. Even after spending hours and hours on both of us she still managed to keep her cool and not panic. I got so many compliments on my mehndi and my wedding look. She did a tremendous job and she deserves to get credit for it. I can't wait to go back to Austin and keep in touch with her. She's an amazing and talented artist.

Singar Studios has got amazing collection of jewelry for any occasion. I purchased my bridal jewelry set from them and everyone complimented my jewelry. Their jewelry has got fine details which I loved it. There is no doubt that I am going to buy jewelry from them in future as well. Leena does a good job in recommending the right one for you and takes time to make sure it goes well with yourself and the outfit.
Makeup:
Leena is a real professional and I can say that she loves whatever she does. She pays lot of attention to detail. She ensures that her clients are confident with the makeup she provides and changes the style till the person is confident to carry it. She does a great job in selecting the right makeup. And she does not settle anything less than perfect. I definitely recommend her service to any bride out there looking for makeup service. She makes her own henna and it amazing. Leena, you did a great job for my sister's sangeet. We had a lot of non-Indians who loved the fact that you tailored your services to what they were most familiar. The bride's mehndhi was brilliant and the glitter dust you used was glamorous. I had not seen that before. The results lasted a while so we could tell you used great stuff. Great how you worked with the party so it was a hit.

Our daughter Amulya got married in Dec. We went with Singar Studio for Bridal package- Makeup, Hairstyles (for 3 events) and Bridal mehndi. We also got a guest package to get makeup for groom's mom, sister, bride's sister and me. Tushar dealt with me on package purchase details- he was prompt and professional. Leena (his wife) did trial bridal makeup in July..and worked with the bride to pick the right colors and hairstyle choices. She is very friendly and gave many useful makeup tips to us. Leena is creative and artistic... very talented. It's fun to watch her work on the bride- passionate artist at play. Leena was supposed to be doing Amulya's makeup/hair in Dec on the wedding day but had to go to India to attend to family matters. She scheduled an other makeup trial for the bride in Nov and transitioned all the information to an artist who works in her studio. She made us feel comfortable with the change. She even went over and beyond to schedule some time (in her busy travel schedule) to show the bride an elegant way to drape the saree she selected for the reception. Leena sent two artists to work with us for the 3 events (Sangeet, Wedding, Reception).. Aguis and Alajandra- both professional and easy to work with. They worked on the Bride (and the Moms or/and Sisters) in the bridal suite. They showed up on time and completed the work (makeup and hair styles) in scheduled time. They effectively managed time- working together on one person or simultaneously on two. We (Moms and the bride) had fun in the bridal suite- cracking up at times and distracting the artists. They stayed patient throughout and completed their work. They were both good. We enjoyed the process of getting our makeup/hair done (it is the first time for all of us). Bride looked beautiful (she is young- I think she would have looked beautiful with or without makeup) and she enjoyed all the fuss about her looks and about getting pampered. We missed Leena at the event.

Good but pricy

Leena is an amazing makeup and Henna artist. She was recommended by our wedding planner and my daughter loved the two looks she gave her for the wedding and reception. She is good with what she does and we loved it.
Though ,few things left a bad taste in my mouth .
Her packages are very expensive and on top of that she charges 100's of dollar for local travel for each visit for her and her artist which really adds up. My suggestion would be to lower that charge for local travel from $100 to $35 as it does not cost that much for local travel .
Other thing that concerned me was paying same amount for retouch for another look on the same day, she should charge less for retouch not for full makeup as it requires less effort.
Leena was flexible as i needed to update the package coz of Covid many guests were not able to make it and she did let me do that which was much appreciated but then she took off the discount she gave in the original contract and added more travel fee on top of that which we didn't feel good about but had no other option as we had signed the contract.
I would surely recommend Leena but would like them to know of the things above before they sign the contract.
