So much yum!

We got a small cake to cut and mini cupcakes for our wedding. Everything was delicious and we received so many compliments from all of our guests. We did a lot of extra taste testing prior to the wedding, which was so much fun! We will definitely be going back on a regular basis, everything there is delicious.

Simple and Delicious

I knew after I bought a cake from this bakery for a birthday that they would be my bakery for my wedding! I can say they are truly amazing and absolutely delicious. They forgot to add my cake topper before I picked but drove it to my venue and set it up for me after they had already closed! The design was simple and absolutely what I wanted!

A godsend in the form of CAKE!

This company was a godsend for us. We were unfortunately affected by Cupcake Jones going out of business - we weren't' given our deposit back or given any information prior to their closure, but Simply Sweets saved the day! They took over our order from Cupcake Jones (applied our original deposit as a store credit to their bakery) and worked with us to get a cake and cupcakes made and set up for our wedding! We worked directly with Jen and she was so kind. We really enjoyed her energy and eye for design. We hadn't even considered a cake when we first thought of our desserts, and she walked us through designing one! She took all our input into consideration and really personalized it for us. It came out better than we could have ever asked for!

I ordered my cupcakes from here for my wedding this past August and were seriously so good. They have SO many flavor options and fun seasonal ones too! I got so many compliments on how good they were from my guests. They were easy to work with and prices were very reasonable for the quality of the cupcakes! Highly Recommend.

Delicious and great customer service!! We have always loved the cupcakes from here so we decided to have our wedding cake and cupcakes made here. They were perfect and delivered just on time!! The service was excellent!

I'm so glad we chose Simply Sweets for our wedding! Their flavor choices made it difficult for us, but they were all so amazing, we couldn't go wrong! We ended up selecting 4 cupcake flavors (all with different decorations) and. 6" grooms cake for the cake cutting. Everything was delivered on time and set up perfectly day of.

Simply sweets did an amazing job with our wedding cake! Jen and all of her staff were always friendly. Our cake looked beautiful and tasted wonderful! Jen even stepped in to help save the day when we had a mishap with our cake flowers and other floral arrangements. We will be using Simply Sweets for all of our cake needs in the future!

Jen and her staff are absolutely amazing! We went to Jen to have a wedding cake and cupcakes made and it was amazing from start to finish! She worked with us on making the cupcakes with our little touches. Our wedding cake was to die for, caramel zebra with buttercream frosting, OH MY YUM! Everybody at the wedding loved the cupcakes and they even worked with me to make a special one for our junior bridesmaids birthday which was the same day of our wedding! Ethan and I can't thank Jen and the simply sweets staff enough and will be using them for years to come!

We knew we wanted to use a local baker for our wedding. When we consulted with simply sweets it was an amazing match. It's like they knew exactly what we wanted and how to make it uniquely ours. Even better they were super helpful at ccomisating our gluten free guests. Our gluten free guests said they were some of the best they have ever had.

We had them do the cake and cupcakes for our wedding and they did an AMAZING job at everything, it's nearly 5 years later and people STILL talk about how beautiful the cake was and how good the cupcakes were!

Simply Sweets was the first bakery we looked into for our wedding cake and we knew right away we wanted our cake to come from here. Jen was very friendly and really created a cake that fit my vision to tie into our peacock wedding theme. We went with love potion as the flavor and it was so delicious! I highly recommend Simply Sweets not only for your wedding cake but for their delicious treats as well!

Jen and her team were awesome when selecting the cake we wanted. My fiancé went to pick up the cake the day before our wedding and they didn't have it finished but said they would have it all ready by the next morning and it was and looked and tasted amazing! The cake was super moist and the topper is exactly what we pictured. We got many compliments on it!

I used Simply Sweets for my small wedding cake and cupcakes for my reception. I didnt really have a design in mind when I ordered so I gave them free reign to make something beautiful. I loved it! The flavors were great too. I would definitely recommend.

My cake was beautiful, easy to order, right within my budget and skillfully made. The ladies at the shop were very helpful with drawing up different designs for me to look at and were very flexible for pick up times. They had everything ready to go on time just as they had said and the cake was delicious! Highly recommend them for any occasion!

We counted our lucky stars many times over that we decided to order the cake for our 50th wedding anniversary from "Simply Sweets"
When I first met with Jen at "Simply Sweets" she immediately started drawing the design on paper as I was explaining to her what type of cake we wanted. And she was so helpful with advice, color combinations and ideas of her own.
Being an artist myself I was impressed with her talent and upon leaving, was convinced that we would get a very nice cake.
But when my husband and I arrived at the venue with our guests we found that the cake surpassed our wildest expectations.
It was the most beautiful and awesome four tier wedding cake we ever saw. I almost cried while I was standing in front of it, looking at this masterpiece of gold, ivory, glitter and perfection.
Everyone asked us, who made this spectacular cake? And the cake was the most photographed item at our celebration.
Not only was the cake beautiful it was also very, very delicious. We ordered the Boston Cream cake and everyone loved it.

Jen was awesome to work with. We appreciated her straightforwardness and getting us to think about other options that might work better than some of our original ideas. She even made other vendor recommendations that we used and were very happy with. We loved the cake flavors and the generous samples that were provided. Everyone at the shop was friendly and helpful and it was one of our favorite vendor experiences. The final product was beautiful, delicious, and exactly what we wanted!

They make everything so simple from the very start with figuring out what kind of cake you want from all there choises, to the day of the wedding. They work with you if you change your mind. Jen and her team absolutely knocked it out of the park with my cake! The visual presentation was exactly what I imagined and the taste was absolute PERFECTION! I'm still getting phone calls weeks later about the quality of the cake! I cannot say enough about this place! They are also VERY affordable! I sometimes have a bigger eye than I should but working with Jen I was able to come in a few hundred under my original budget! I will most certainly be a repeat customer!! THANK YOU :)

Simply sweets baked goods are the best sweets I've ever eaten, even my dad insisted that we go with them as a vendor after tasting their delicious cupcakes. It seems to be a concerns us, as two engaged friends have already ask where we got our cupcakes from. After meeting with this vendor to create our cake, I've been back several times to pick up a dozen cupcakes or so, I don't mind making the drive because the reward is great! Simply Sweets was very flexible, when I wanted to make some changes close to the wedding date, they accommodated me without hesitation. I am so happy they did our cake, they have earned a loyal customer in me.

I got married on June 23, 2012 and I choose Simply Sweets by Jen to design my Peacock themed wedding cake and cupcakes. I had so much fun going in and sitting down with Jen’s assistants to come up with ideas for my cake and sample all the different flavors of her cupcake selections.
On the day of my wedding when I saw my much anticipated cake and cupcakes I was breathless. Jen and her crew did an AMAZING job!! The cake/cupcakes were far better than I had ever imagined. All my guests commented on the beauty of the cake/cupcakes and how YUMMY the cupcakes tasted. I had over 8 different flavors of cupcakes. I choose the “Princess” flavor for our cake and it was mouth watering. I seriously ate half of the cake and can’t wait to our first year anniversary to eat the other half..LOL. If you do not want to be disappointment with the taste or presentation of the cake then choose Simply Sweets!!!

The Simply Sweets shop is so cute in the Vancouver Mall and I am really excited for Jen and her business. The cake and cupcakes she did for our wedding were delicious and looked awesome! I am not a creative person at all so it was nice to give her an idea of what we had in mind and then her to organize and put something together for us. It turned out just the way we wanted!

Simply Sweets is one of the best cakes and cupcakes in the area; the taste is amazing. Jen is so creative and easy to work with. I found a picture of a cake that I liked; Jen was able to take that idea and make it even better. I never had to worry about how my cake would turn out; I knew it would be perfect.

We were blown away by how incredible our cake was. The photographer even commented on it and said it looked like one of those Italian sculptures. And he has probably seen hundreds of cakes. The best part is that it was so delicious! She uses marshmallow fondant that is to die for and her flavors are fabulous! Love, love, love this baker!

I have worked with Simply Sweets a lot because I am a wedding and event planner. I decided to go with them for my wedding because they always do a fantastic job on cakes. They not only look amazing but taste delicious as well. Tasha has always been so helpful. I got to taste 4 different cakes which was nice because I was indecisive. You did have to put a down deposit before you could do a cake tasting though. I ended up showing them a picture of what I had wanted and they created it exactly as shown. I was very happy with my experience. Thank you!!

At our first meeting with Jen, we were unsure of what we wanted. We had some ideas and pictures from Pinterest but no idea of what we wanted. Jen Took our ideas and ran with them. She designed a beautiful cake and also incorporated a stamp we used on our invitations. We went a little less traditional and had a smaller cake with cookies, brownies and cupcakes for a sweets table. Jen offered suggestions for quantities and also incorporated our design throughout the cupcakes. Many favors to choose from and each flavor is unique and delicious! Delivery and set up to Portland was much appreciated! Great to work with and would highly recommend to anyone!

Simply Sweets has the most amazing cupcakes and cakes. I ordered 150 cupcakes and 1 wedding cake. You are able to pick up to 6 different cake flavors however I opted for 4. I was married on 8/17/12, which was a very hot day around 90 degrees. Ahead of time I asked them if they could bring the cupcakes and cake as close to the wedding start time as possible because I didn't want the butter cream to melt. They did deliver them as late in the day as they could, and it all worked out just find. They not only delivered the cupcakes for an extra $25 but they also set them up on the cupcake stand I created. I personally didn’t have any interaction with them on the wedding day, my wedding coordinator took care of it all. I did like how they left a box to put the wedding cake back in after the reception was over. However I did ask if they supply boxes for left over cupcakes ahead of time and they told me they did. But there wasn’t any. So we had to use our favor boxes to take the cupcakes home. The cupcakes and cake I believe are the best cakes I have had in SW Washington. I have already recommended you to a few of my friends that are getting married next summer.

We got a small topper cake and three flavors of cupcakes for our wedding and our guests. We were very pleased with the cake and cupcakes that the bakers provided for the wedding day. I would have wanted the vendors to deliver, however the fee was a bit higher than I would have expected. However, the pricing for the actual cakes and cupcakes was relatively reasonable. If you're looking for a more inexpensive option, go with the cupcakes! They are just as delicious!

Our consultation was wonderful, and they drew up exactly what we wanted. Afterward, they sent us home with their top 6 flavors in cupcake form. We were able to sit down with the family and eat the scrumptious sweets together so that we all had input. Throughout the entire process, the girls were very professional and helpful. Thanks for helping make our day beautiful!

Excellent service from beginning to end. The cakes were beautiful and delicious. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Jenn was amazing. She was able to fit my husband and I in on a walk in appointment which was SO lucky. She was patient and kind even when I had no idea what I wanted in my cake. She really helped with the vision of the cake too which was nice since I really had no clue what I wanted. The day of the wedding I had no idea what to expect and when I saw the cake I was so happy at how beautiful it really was. My only negative was how expensive the cake was for how simple our design was. But I would definitely go back and get more cakes from her company.

Our cake and cupcakes were perfect! They were beautiful, tasty, and we didn't have ANY left over after the wedding! They delivered and were very reasonably priced. The cake and cupcakes were super moist and the fondant was actually good. We are bummed that people ate our top layer of cake, but this gives us just one more excuse to order another cake from here.

Simply Sweets gave us lots of options for flavors and designed a beautiful and delicious cake for us with minimal input from us. We were not sure exactly how we wanted it to look but the colors, they basically designed the cake having been given the colors and theme of our wedding and it turned out perfect. They did this all on relatively short notice when other bakeries had so much restrictions on design and time frame.

We ordered cupcakes for our wedding and they were so delicious and pretty. They delivered them to our venue and set everything up for us.

I crave the cup cakes ever now again so yummy!!!

Delicious and Beautiful fondant cakes. We had different flavors for each tier and had guests telling us they tried each one and couldn't decide which one they liked best. Everyone in the shop was friendly, and we never had any problems with setting up consults, or the delivery or anything like that. I love that you can try the cupcakes in all the flavors before you decide. They aren't great about responding to emails, so I would recommend calling or going in.
Additionally, I had Jen make a surprise groom's cake. I asked her to make a replica of my husband's computer, and she did a fantastic job just going off pictures. He was amazed at it and loved it.

Jen of Simply Sweets did a wonderful job on my wedding cake. I detailed for one of her assistants exactly what I wanted and she even gave me a few ideas. The cake turned out good but I heard from some of my guests that it was a bit on the dry side. I tried a bit and thought it was just fine. I was so happy that she was able to do the Strawberry Vanilla cake, it's my favorite of their cupcakes. Thank you Jen for such a great cake!

The cakes at simply sweets are absolutely delicious! We have three flavor and all of them were a hit! Everyone who had cake came up to us to let us know how good it was! It was easy to initially meet with with the bakers, but when I came in again to make sure everything was going good the baker was very stressed I could tell. I sent them of photo of how I wanted my cake to look (which I originally showed them) and unfortunately they didn't do what I had asked, but the cake still looked very nice and close to what I was wanting. Just a tad frustrating when you give them the photo and they can't make it identical. But again the cake was awesome and looked good!

Really nice

Simply Sweets is the kind of small bakery that instantly makes you feel happy the moment you walk in. The whole place smells like warm sugar and fresh pastries, and everything in the display case looks like it was made with so much care.
Their treats are honestly amazing — soft, fresh, and full of flavor. The cupcakes are perfectly fluffy, the cookies are chewy and delicious, and every dessert tastes homemade in the best way. You can tell they really love what they do.
The staff is super friendly, and the shop has such a cozy, welcoming vibe. It’s the perfect place to grab a treat for yourself or bring home something sweet to share.
If you want baked goods that are beautiful, delicious, and made with love, Simply Sweets is the spot!

I had cupcakes and a small two-tiered cake for my wedding cake. Everyone said the cupcakes were delicious. The delivery was made on time and the decorations were pretty alright.

Disappointment is an understatement .

I was thoroughly disappointed with the cake, which was undoubtedly the worst I've ever had. Unfortunately, it was served on my wedding day, a day I will always remember. The cake was overly sweet and dry, and the flavors did not match my original request. As none of our guests enjoyed it, we had the entire cake left over. Although the design was beautiful, I was saddened that the flavor and taste did not meet expectations. Having been repeat customers for various events, we had hoped they would make it right by offering some incentive for the mistake as the cake was very expensive 1 k, However, the owners' pride took precedence, and we will not be doing business with them again. It is unfortunate that they did not acknowledge the significance of their mistake on such a special day. They lost some good customers

11.16.17 left us hanging @ door, seen us and walked out back door after saying we could come down. Don't want to do business with you anymore.. We were going to order our wedding cake and they knew that. Apparently customers are not Valued.

I would recommend anyone thinking about ordering cake or cup cakes from here... DON'T DO IT!! I ordered a wedding cake and cupcakes for my guests at my wedding. They were two hours late delivering my cake. My wedding was at TWO. They got there at FOUR. I told Jen myself numerous times the location and time if my wedding and for some reason she "had no knowledge of this". She full well knew the date and didn't even think to call when she said she had no time or location?? Really?? How unprofessional. When the cake finally arrived, one of her employees arrived to my wedding in shorts, tank top and flip flops. To my wedding!!! UNACCEPTABLE! My mom informed her she was very late and she was very rude to my mom. Than getting to my reception she handed the cake and cupcakes off to my caterer than left! What? So what did I pay them for? And not to mention my wedding cake was dry. Also, there was barely any frosting on the cupcakes not to mention any frosting that was on the cupcakes were melted. I was not impressed at all. This wasn't anything me or my fiancé wanted. I called her the next day. I told her she should give me a full refund due to her not delivering on time or delivering the promises that were made. She told me she couldn't do that. That's ridiculous! If you don't deliver the promises that were made you should give your customers a complete refund. I told her that the frosting melted. She told me "that's what happens when you choose butter cream frosting." How the hell am I supposed to know that? And shouldn't you have a cooler in your delivery car?? She did tell me she does have more training to do with her employees. So i'm the one to suffer when you should have trained your employees in the first place?! She only gave me 109 dollars out of 330 dollars paid. She's very rude and unprofessional .
