Working with Kate for the past year and a half was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she was incredibly organized, kept us on track with every deadline, and made what could have been an overwhelming process feel completely manageable.
Not only is she amazing at what she does, but she also has a calming presence. Whenever I felt stressed or overwhelmed, Kate knew exactly how to reassure me and remind me that everything would come together—and it absolutely did.
She even traveled to Mexico for our wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly, and having her there was invaluable. We had a few unexpected curveballs along the way, but Kate handled every challenge with professionalism, grace, and determination. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure our day was absolutely perfect, and because of her, we were able to truly enjoy every moment without worrying about the details.
I cannot recommend Kate enough. She is worth every single penny and then some. If you're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making your wedding everything you've dreamed of, Kate is the person you want by your side. We are so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding unforgettable. -

Kate was amazing!! I did the day of coordinator package and I got so much more support than I anticipated. She also offers planning services and I can only imagine how incredible she is with that. Kate and I had regular communication leading up to the wedding and she provided helpful resources that helped guide my next steps along the way. She worked with all of my vendors and created a timeline for us, which as far as I know, we stuck to. I didn’t have to do anything on my wedding day except enjoy the moments. Kate was extremely supportive throughout the night with little things too like having some socks for me since I forgot them for my change of shoes and fixing my bustle when it got messed up. She also stayed at the venue after we left to make sure all of our decor was gathered for us to get the next day. In my opinion, Kate went above and beyond for us and I highly recommend her for your event! -

Working with Kate was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From start to finish, she was absolutely amazing. She stayed on top of every detail, big and small, and made the entire process feel seamless. On my wedding day, she brought such a sense of calm and confidence—any time someone had a question for me, I felt completely at ease saying, “Ask Kate.” I trusted her fully, and she delivered beyond expectations.
Leading up to the wedding, Kate was a true pleasure to work with: prompt, organized, thoughtful, and always one step ahead. She genuinely cared about our vision and made sure every aspect was carried out beautifully.
Even if your venue provides a “day-of coordinator,” I can’t recommend hiring someone like Kate enough. She already knew our preferences, had built relationships with our vendors, and was completely focused on our experience and our families’ needs. Anyone would be lucky to work with her. We are so grateful for everything she did to make our day perfect. -

Enlisting Simply Sapphire Events was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. From the moment Kate stepped in as our day-of coordinator, she brought a level of organization, calm, and professionalism that truly allowed me to enjoy every moment of our day. My only regret is not hiring her sooner in the planning process.
Leading up to the wedding, Kate was responsive, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in understanding our vision. She reviewed our timelines, vendor list, and all our contracts. We had several planning meetings leading up to our wedding day. During our meetings, Kate brought so many things to my attention that I would have never considered on my own. She was able to fine tune all our event details in a way only someone with exceptional experience and talent can do.
On our wedding day, Kate handled everything seamlessly. From managing vendors to troubleshooting any and all issues, Kate ensured the entire event flowed effortlessly. She kept us perfectly on schedule without making us feel rushed, and somehow managed to be everywhere at once while still remaining warm and supportive. Our other vendors, families, and wedding party even commented on how amazing Kate was to work with throughout the night.
Because of Kate, we were able to fully soak in our ceremony, enjoy our reception, and truly remain present. She removed all the extra stress and allowed us to simply celebrate. We are SO grateful and would recommend Kate to any couple looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and exceptional day-of coordinator. Kate helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect. -

I don't even know where to start. Kate was nothing short of amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process! From meeting with her on monthly video calls more than a year before our wedding to having her present on our actual wedding day, I truly don't think I could have done it without her! Planning a destination wedding sounded so stressful and I had no clue where to even begin. Kate guided me through every single step along the way, relieving most of the wedding planning stress a bride may feel! We had monthly planning or check-in meetings and she was always available to answer any and all questions I had. The best decision I made was flying her down for the wedding for a few days. She was there to help with EVERYTHING and went the extra mile to make sure myself and my guests were happy and accommodated- I cannot thank her enough! She was so amazing and made sure the entire day ran smoothly by coordinating with the resort staff and all of my guests. Kate was so professional, transparent, honest, helpful and compassionate at every single meeting we had via video call or in-person. I will recommend her to any person that wants to plan a destination wedding. She is filled so much knowledge and has a lot of experience with destination weddings at so many different locations! I was very hesitant on getting a Wedding Planner as I thought that it was easy enough for me to do myself. My sister-in-law who had Kate for her wedding, suggested her as she was very pleased with how Kate helped her out. So eventually I gave into the thought and we hired simply Sapphire. Well, Kate literally saved me this entire wedding process. She was helpful. She was quick to respond. She was on top of everything and she was genuinely a good and nice person. She made the entire process easy, including wedding day! Everything went so smooth because of Kate! Even to the point where I told my husband now that I am truly sad that our meetings with Kate are over! I will recommend her to anyone and everyone! We love you, Kate -

Kate Anderson of Simply Sapphire Events was a CRUCIAL and amazing asset to our wedding day. She was so helpful, responsive, and had great insight and advice for any questions I had. She made wedding planning a breeze and really took any stress away! I would not hesitate to book her for all of your planning needs. As someone who had a destination wedding RUN to book her services. She has close relationships with the vendors and where it would take you a month for a reply she gets one in a few days if not same day. Especially if you haven't been to the resort, she has been to most several times and really understands the layout, knows the staff/vendors, how things run etc. We paid to also have her on site for the wedding and it was worth every penny. On your wedding day you there is so much going on so to have her there fielding questions, dealing with vendors, etc. made my day run so smoothly and allowed me to be in the moment. I was guilty of underestimating things at times "oh that won't be too hard, oh I can handle that" and quickly realized that was not the case. So having her there was imperative to my day running smoothly. And even if it was something I could have handled why not have someone there to take away the work and let you relax and enjoy the day? (Side note- during hair/makeup she would take pictures and show the girls and ensure they really liked their looks. If she could tell you were just being nice or were too shy to say anything she ensured the staff got it right! I loved that and so did my bridesmaids!) Multiple bridesmaids and guests asked about her services at my wedding because they saw in real time how organized, professional, and on the ball she was. Truly the best money we spent on our wedding! If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner why have yourself spread thin and be stressed on the most important day of your life? Book her asap!! -

Kate is the best! I loved planning my engagement party and wedding with her. Now that it is all over I miss talking to her every week lol. I highly recommend Kate and her crew! She helped us plan a wedding in 7 weeks which is a definite challenge. The whole time, Kate had a positive "we got this" attitude which really helped us stay calm. Kate is an excellent negotiator! Her skills in this area will likely save you much more than her fee. She will pay close attention to your budget and get the best deals. Also, I appreciated her direct and clear communication style. My wedding was mostly DIY, so what I was looking for was someone who can help me in the few weeks leading up to; into the entire day of wedding. Making sure to keep me on check with my vendors and their to do lists, not to mention my own to do lists. Making sure the decorations that I made, and purchased, were going to be placed and executed exactly how I envisioned, and making sure any details that needed to be addressed on the day of can be taken care of by someone else, so that I can relax and really soak in the day. In other words, sort of duplicate myself. Kate!!!! You did that!!!! You and your assistant were soooooo amazing!!! Down to every detail (THE CAKE FLOWERS 😍)!!! And kept me and everything right in line so that things can run smoothly. And if anything went wrong, I still don’t know… I am sooooo but sooo grateful that we were able to hire you!!!! Will definitely keep you in mind for any future events! Love you girl!!! -

I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner for my destination wedding. Kate's knowledge of the resort as well as her attention to detail was unmatched. Adding Kate to our vendor team was a great decision and I am so glad that we did. I had most of the big wedding items planned and all of the other vendors hired before adding Kate to our team. But in the months leading up to the wedding, there are so many little details and tasks to do that I felt like I was getting lost in them. Which is why we got Kate and she was so great to have. She had a schedule of tasks for us to follow and helped with our wedding day timeline, which I was dreading putting together. Also, having her with me the day of the wedding was one of the best things that happened that day. I knew that if there were any issues that Kate would be there to handle them so that we could enjoy the wedding. The wedding day goes by so fast and I think that if we didn't have Kate there it would not have gone as smoothly or been as enjoyable as it really was. If you're on the fence about hiring at least a day of coordinator just do it. It is worth way more than the cost. Kate is someone who is there for you and your ideas and will support you on one of the most important days of your life. You want to be able to enjoy the day and be able to be present in the moments, not off dealing with some issue. I recommend Kate 100 percent! I am so glad we hired her and you will be too! -

We decided to get married at a friends estate - the location was perfect, but we had to bring EVERYTHING in order to turn it into an actual wedding and this was on top of already challenging logistics. I really don't know how we would have done it without Kate! The property was undergoing renovations right up until the morning of the wedding, so things were changing constantly throughout the process. Kate was the PERFECT combination - She had the agility and "go with the flow" needed to keep us calm and help us navigate the changes, (especially with vendors), while also providing us with the structure, timelines, budgets, etc that we needed to keep everything on track.
We also worked with 2 of her day-of coordinators - Erin and Kaylee. They were also incredible! There was so much day of setting up, and they really took my vision and turned it into a reality.
Kate always made time for my now husband and I....and we always felt like we were being made a priority. Would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a planner and looking for a seamless wedding day! :)

Kate was recommended to me by Travelsmith's in Pt. Pleasant as I was beginning to plan my destination wedding. I live in Mississippi but wanted to use people from NJ for the planning because they would be more understanding of my expectations (weddings in Mississippi are MUCH different than up north). Throw in the fact that COVID-19 happened right in the middle of our planning and I was adamant about not changing my date (August 2), this planning might have been a little more tricky. However, Kate handled everything so well. She clearly had long lists of everything that could possibly go into a wedding and we were able to go through everything and narrow it down to exactly what I wanted. From there, Kate worked closely with the wedding coordinators at the resort (El Dorado Royale) and made sure that our day was perfect. I was so concerned about our guestlist dropping from 45-50 people to only 18 but the space we were able to arrange was perfect. The décor was exactly what I imagined. Kate was able to negotiate with the on-site wedding coordinators to get us exactly what we wanted. We were able to put together the perfect event just by speaking over the phone. Kate uses technology very well to keep everything well organized. I consider myself to have high-expectations but I am also very laid back. Kate understood my personality and we got along perfectly! -

Thank you so much for being there for us from start to finish, being so patient, keeping us calm and putting up with our worried phone calls, questions and all the changes that were made. Thanks for being our wedding planner and we sincerely appreciate and can’t thank you enough for all of your hard work and dedication throughout our wedding planning and ultimately the big day on October 30th as we celebrated our special day with families and friends. Best Decision We Made!!
Simply Sapphire, and specifically Kate, did an amazing job working with us during the preparation and on the day of our wedding on Oct 6th in Long Valley, NJ. We NEVER could have done it without her. If you are trying to decide if you need a wedding planner, you need a wedding planner, and if you choose Kate, you will not be disappointed!
Many of our guests told us at the wedding and afterwards that not only was our wedding beautiful and very fun, but also that it was the first wedding they had ever been to where nothing at all went wrong. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding, spend time with our guests and truly celebrate while Kate took care of the details on our wedding day. Kate made the preparation for the wedding manageable and comfortable, pushing us when we needed to hurry up and get things done and giving us time when we needed it. Despite the fact that we had a destination wedding on a very limited timetable (2.5 months) and an unexpected death of a family member right before the wedding, we were able to get everything done and have a beautiful day. Kate never batted an eye at any of our requests, and made a lot of very helpful suggestions that we ended up using, helped us find all of our vendors and guided us through the entire process. We could not be happier with Simply Sapphire and with Kate!

Kate is certainly is one of those Wedding & Event Coordinators that simply goes out of her way to make sure all the details are covered. After thoroughly researching and making several calls, I made the decision to hire Kate as my day of coordinator. In simple terms, she was a God sent at our wedding. Let me start from the beginning....
My wedding was on August 31st at The Manor, West Orange NJ. I sent Kate all the correspondences I had with different vendors via email. She was ALWAYS available for any of my questions via phone, Facetime or email. She made me feel sane when I felt like I was spiraling down a rabbit hole that is wedding planning. She guided me through getting my way with the vendors. She made sure I was not being bullied by them. She created VERY VERY organized documents detailing the wedding timeline, vendor lists, things to do etc. For a Type A personality like mine that was something that eased my anxiety SO MUCH!!!
A month or so before the wedding, she took charge of the entire process. She called all the vendors and coordinated all the details herself. I literally did not have to lift a finger. For example: I had two different caterers at my wedding (American food and Indian Fusion food) and she took charge of making sure that the two caterers had a clear line of communication between each other.
Now for the wedding day ..... I was the least stressed out Bride ever to walk down the aisle. I am not exaggerating at all. Kate arrived early morning and she started by pouring champagne for me and the bridesmaids. She was so gracious enough to not let any of the bridesmaids lift a finger. She travelled between the hotel and the venue itself to transfer all my things. She coordinated with the groom and the groomsmen to make sure they were running on time. No one EVER bothered me with ANY trouble shooting questions AT ALL. I was just in my own little world enjoying my day and no one asked me any unnecessary questions! How awesome is that??? This was all thanks to Kate.
After the ceremony, the reception flowed flawlessly. Kate ensured that we took pictures with everyone we listed. She even ensured that there was time for me and my husband to grab food during the cocktail hour which was very important to us.
During the reception, all different aspects just flowed together seamlessly. People still talk about our wedding and say it was the wedding of the century. I honestly believe that the night unfolded the way it did thanks to Kate. Several people asked about her and complimented her work. A few of my friends are definitely going to hire her for their own wedding.
Simple things like making sure I was hydrated, had dinner, got to dance, got to hug my brother after his speech about me ...they meant a lot to me. Above all...she was nice enough to pack all my things from the bridal suite at the venue to transport them safely and neatly back to my hotel room. I never had to worry about anything.
She's so nice, professional and her positive energy is something I feel very blessed to have had the pleasure of working with. She did not make me feel like i was just some client for financial gain at all. She truly loves what she does and takes pride in her work. It's rare to find people who put their 110% into their tasks but Kate truly embodies this.
Trust me..do yourself a favor and hire her. This will definitely be the smartest decision you make during your wedding planning. -

I was engaged and married within 6 months. Yes, that’s right - I only had 6 months to plan and execute a wedding. I could not have done it without Simply Sapphire Events. Kate was beyond organized with my wedding budget and “to-do” lists. She somehow managed to get my husband to hold up his end of the wedding responsibilities - which is no easy feat. Every detail was taken care of which allowed me to sit back and truly enjoy my wedding day. I even ran into my caterer last week and he said “your wedding coordinator was fantastic, she was really on top of everything!" There is a lot of debate on whether or not you need a wedding coordinator to pull of the wedding of your dreams - trust me when I tell you...you don’t need just any wedding coordinator - you need Kate! -

Was great, she called us (vendor) weeks before the wedding of one of our couples, to make sure we (photo booth team) were on the same page as everyone else. She told us where to unload, and have our set-up space ready upon our arrival on the day of the wedding. She answered fast to all of our questions and even help our bride to find the best prop for their couple photo at the photo booth. I could see how much she care and wanted everything to be beautiful for their special day.

It is so hard for me to even try to put into words how amazing Kate is but will give it my best try! We can honestly say that our wedding would not have happened without Kate. From the first day that we spoke, she has been a true advocate for us and such an absolute pleasure to work with. She always goes beyond above and beyond and has her eye on every single detail. We worked with Kate for our Indian fusion event in June as our day-of coordinator – though she is much more than a day-of coordinator! She did a great job of learning the Indian traditions and helped make sure every detail was executed exactly how we wanted. Given the fusion aspect of our wedding, our event was on the more complicated side and Kate did an incredible job of navigating that and managing our vendors – a few who were difficult to manage. During the week of the wedding, Kate was instrumental in making sure everyone knew where they needed to be and what needed to be done. As traditional Indian weddings are, we started festivities a few days before the big day and because I knew Kate had everything handled, was able to truly enjoy the fun and family without worrying about the details for the wedding day. On the day of, we had a major issue with a vendor, and Kate was there bright and early to help figure out next steps. Throughout the day, she continued to advocate for us and make sure our event went flawlessly. Our entire family, wedding party, and even guests have been raving about how wonderful Kate is and we would – and have! - recommend her without hesitation. -

Kate Anderson is an absolutely phenomenal wedding coordinator. Kate provides a level of service that no one else can. I had my destination wedding in Dec 2018 in Mexico with TravelSmiths and was so blessed to have Kate there helping plan and make the most perfect time lines for EVERYTHING. I would not have been on time for my own wedding if I had used the suggested make up and hair schedule provided by the resort wedding coordinator. She is truly incredible. The first conversation I had with Kate, I knew she was a MUST HAVE for the planning process. Her attention to detail is like none other. She is able to ask all the right questions to accomplish you as the wedding couple's ultimate DREAM Destination Wedding. I can not rave about Kate enough, as she put my mind at ease throughout every single encounter. I made the mistake of not having Kate travel with us for our destination wedding. This would have been the only decision my husband and I would have done differently regarding my big day since Kate took care of the rest. I needed Kate by my side that day to make sure all of my needs as the bride were met. My onsite resort provided coordinator did NOT provide the same service that Kate does. Kate is beautifully directive and can accomplish what the three resort provided day of coordinators could not. From day one, I absolutely adored Kate and was so thankful my husband and I chose her. She ensures that YOU as the Bride and Groom's voice is heard, noted, and acted upon with NO STRESS to you. I promise you NEED Kate for the entire wedding process!!! We had never been to the resort we got married at and we knew we needed a liaison with the planners in Mexico. Kate did an amazing job planning all of the details I wouldn’t have even thought of! Even the day of the wedding she was texting and responsive from a country away! Kate simply impressed me when I had the pleasure of officiating a November 2019 wedding planned by Simply Sapphire Events. Kate and I established our relationship prior to the event and communication could not have been better. Our bride broke her foot two weeks prior, so our ceremony required some alterations to make her more comfortable. Kate handled the pivot with same ease she handled everything about the event. When a guest needed medication during the cocktail hour Kate had it delivered from a local drug store.
