Sle is the dream team!
I had my wedding at Nella Terra Cellars where I worked closely with Lindsay from simply lovely events as well as Tannya for support!
Lindsay is amazing and made our wedding day perfect! With every wedding there will always be some type of issue that arrives and with the bumps we faced, it was as if SLE worked magic and made everything better.
Leading up to the wedding, Lindsay was so thorough and detailed and made sure to cover everything I did not know even needed to be covered - from placing our custome table numbers (also giving advice on what to use in case of strong winds), lighting our candles, tying the rose petal cones to the chairs, and tons of reception layout drafts. She asked many questions to make sure she understood what we were envisioning and had the most detailed notes I had ever seen! At the same time, she continued answering my 1000000 questions with lots of reassurance that everything will be more than OKAY. Even when we got scammed by a vendor, she was so empathetic and assisted us in what actions to take and other vendors we can look into!
You can tell Lindsay is so passionate about her job and it shows with how loving and understanding she is towards the bride and groom, everyone that was a part of the wedding as well as our guests! Even my guests called out how organized and perfect everything looked - it was as if nothing at all went wrong.
Lastly, I was also one of the brides who wasn't as organized towards the end of the process and started to be indecisive.. Lindsay was a hero and all my last minute wants/changes and requests were all answered and executed with excellence.
So if you are looking for a dream team to coordinate your wedding and give you so much love, support , guidance and patience.. Work with Simply lovely events. You will not regret it at all! -

Book them!
We can't say enough good things about Tannya and her team. We hired her about a year and a half before our wedding for the partial planning package, and she was truly a dream to work with. As a Type A bride who asks a million questions, second-guesses decisions, and loves all the little details, I felt completely supported by Tannya. She was always kind, patient, and professional — offering thoughtful advice, budget-saving ideas, and genuine care throughout the process. What really stood out was how well she got to know us as a couple and what mattered most to us. At our final walkthrough, I remember meeting with the venue coordinator and being so impressed that before I could even voice a concern, Tannya already had — it was like she read my mind! On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant went above and beyond in ways I hadn’t even thought of — holding my veil, grabbing my fiancé’s phone, tracking down family members, holding my bouquet at times — just quietly taking care of all the little things. She’s incredibly detail-oriented, and I respect and appreciate that so much. It made a world of difference in helping me stay calm and present throughout the day. She was also incredibly responsive from start to finish, and I truly felt like we were in the best hands. Tannya is a true pro and such a calming, capable presence. We’re so grateful for her and the Simply Lovely team! Also side note - when you book with her, you will get access to Aisle Planner which is a wedding-planning software and OMG I loved it. I would check it daily on my list of things to do. Helped so much! -

Love love love!
We worked primarily with Tannya as our wedding coordinator and also had the help of Lindsay on the rehearsal and day-of for our October wedding at Nella Terra Cellars. I cannot rave about them and thank them enough! Tannya was so helpful providing us with recommendations and planning tools that made the process so much smoother. Simply Lovely’s relationship with Nella Terra and our caterer (On the Vine) is probably one of the most helpful aspects as their communication and teamwork is fine-tuned to perfection. On the day-of, both Tannya and Lindsay were absolutely amazing. I (bride) planned majority of our wedding, so a big fear of mine was not being able to enjoy the day fully and being worried about little details getting done, but Tannya and Lindsay handled everything to where I barely heard about any little hiccup that occurred and for that I’m so deeply grateful! Our wedding was so beautiful and memorable and a lot of that was because of Simply Lovely Events!!-

The absolute BEST wedding coordinators!!
Tannya and the Simply Lovely Events team made my wedding day absolutely incredible. I could not have asked for a better coordinator for our special day. Being a busy medical student, Tannya brought my wedding vision to life all while working with my crazy schedule. She understood my time constraints and was able to plan all the details efficiently. We've heard of couple stories where they are not able to enjoy due to stress or being tired from planning -- but we did not experience any of this during our wedding! She made our day flawlessly seamless due to her attention to detail.
What I appreciated the most was her very intentional planning - she ensured that my husband and I had special moments alone, along with a lot of time with our guests (all while staying on schedule!!!). I would highly, highly recommend the Simply Lovely Events team to everyone and anyone planning a wedding!!-

Working with Simply Lovely Events was an absolute pleasure, and Lindsay truly made our wedding experience unforgettable. From the very beginning, Lindsay was incredibly helpful, offering insightful guidance and support that made the planning process so much smoother.
On the day of the event, Lindsay was a constant source of reassurance and assistance, not just for me but for my mom as well. Thank you Simply Lovely!
The Simply Lovely Events team is "simply" the best team around. Tannya, Lindsay, and team are a well-oiled machine for planning any wedding at Nella Terra Cellars. From the get-go, Tannya was organized and proactive reaching out to us in the months leading up to the wedding, and answered all of our questions, no matter how big or small. She was also great at listening and giving guidance, validating our wedding decisions while also sharing best practices/suggestions. It was reassuring to know we had Tannya on our team, and she would go to bat for us to make the day a success.
On the day of the wedding, Lindsay was our lead coordinator, and ran the show flawlessly with (another) Lindsay and April. She kept my husband and I happy, fed (very important), and fully present in our special day. We had other guests / bridal party members debrief us afterwards that they also loved interacting with the Simply Lovely team. We hope we have a chance in the future to be guests of a Simply Lovely wedding, so we can have the experience from the other side! :) -

Tannya is amazing!
Tannya and her team did a wonderful job taking care of us during the wedding planning process as well as on the day of. The tools she provided allowed us to put together a vision for our big day that was easy to share with vendors and track our progress along the way. Tannya also ensured that there was time for me (the bride) to eat on my big day and that our more specific wishes were granted as well. Hire SLE now!
This is an overdue review, but worth noting nonetheless. Lindsay was the best wedding coordinator I could've possibly imagined. Months leading up to our event, she was ready for every virtual meeting and made sure to cover all the points we needed to address within the allotted time. She always sent us notes/action items immediately after our sessions. She made the process so easy and seamless. I've repeatedly recommended Simply Lovely Events and Lindsay to all my friends.
The first time I met her in person was during our wedding day. She was just as charming and lovable in person as on Zoom. She kept us on track the whole day but never rushed my husband and me. Things naturally went wrong throughout the day, but our guests would've never known.
Our friends and family have often told us that it was the best wedding they've been to. A considerable part of that was all thanks to Lindsay and her team. Stop looking and hire them already! :) -

The Dream Team!
We truly had the best experience working with Lindsay and the Simply Lovely team! My husband and I got married at Nella Terra in August 2022 and we are so grateful to this wonderful team for helping to bring our dream wedding to life. From the start, Lindsay was very helpful in answering our many questions and working out the details of our day. She was organized, prompt with communication, and gave great advice when we were looking for a professional opinion. In the few months leading up to our wedding day, we were thoroughly impressed with the detailed wedding day timeline Lindsay created and the way she communicated necessary information to the rest of the vendors so that everyone was dialed in. When the wedding day came, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. My husband and I got to be present and enjoy every moment throughout our day. I kept telling myself not everything will go as planned, but it truly did! Many of our guests commented on the flow of our day and how smoothly everything went - we owe it all to Lindsay and Olivia’s hard work and expertise. We cannot recommend this dream team enough! -

You should hire Simply Lovely!
I can 100% say that the best thing we did for our wedding was hiring Simply Lovely Events!! We got married in July 2022 at Nella Terra Cellars, and Tannya and her team made the planning process and day-of so incredible for us.
We live across the country, so we knew communicating with vendors would be difficult with the time difference, and because both of us were very busy with our careers, the process of planning a wedding seemed extremely overwhelming.
The Simply Lovely team listened to our wants and needs for our wedding day, helped us stay on our planning schedule, and provided tons of options and ideas to create our dream wedding. We wanted a look to our wedding that we hadn't really seen, and Tannya and her team made it happen for us.
During the week of and wedding day, the entire team kept everything running smoothly from start to finish and made sure we weren't stressing and didn't have to focus on timing and running the show. It also took a big weight off of our families and friends in the bridal party, since they knew they were there to enjoy the wedding and that the team had everything under control.
It was such a magical day and our guests went out of their way to tell us it was a beautiful and amazing wedding, and I can truly say that it would not have been what it was without the assistance of Simply Lovely Events. We highly recommend working with the entire team. -

Hands down, the best!
Simply Lovely Events is hands down absolutely incredible to work with! I won't lie, I am a very organized person and we were a little reluctant about having to hire a wedding planner for our wedding at Nella Terra, but I am so glad we did! I was so wrong, there are so many details, deadlines to meet, questions to answer to keep you on track that this wedding could not have been pulled off without Simply Lovely's help, especially without Lindsay! She continued to keep me on track and ask me questions I had not even thought of about the timeline or the way we wanted the day of the wedding to go. I can't rave about Tannya and Lindsay enough. They helped keep me on track, calm and confident that we would have an incredible wedding and we had the most magical evening. A great team to work with for your wedding
We really enjoyed working with the Simply Lovely Events team for our wedding at Nella Terra Cellars. Their industry expertise and attention to detail were extremely helpful, as was their calm presence in all of our meetings and on the day of. We were both very busy with work leading up to the wedding, and Olivia helped us stay on track by making planning checklists so we didn’t forget anything. Their help creating the timeline made the day run smoothly, and everything was exactly how we’d imagined when we showed up for the cocktail hour and reception.

Wedding planning made easy
Lindsay and Olivia made our day absolutely perfect! I wasn't excited about wedding planning at all and the team made for such an easy process for us. Leading up to the wedding day, Lindsay was so great at helping us with creative ideas, last minute changes we wanted to make, and making everything we wanted work with the timeline. On the wedding day, there was nothing that went wrong at all - Lindsay and Olivia kept everything moving and super organized. We were able to completely enjoy the night and our wedding was so relaxing because they were working with all the little details behind the scenes. Our guests are still commenting on how organized and well-run the event was and it's really all thanks to Lindsay and her team! -

Our wedding would not have been possible without Lindsay and Olivia who are so easy to work with and always had a smile. Our parents loved them too. They work with our ideas and try to make accommodations to the last minute. They made sure that we are on schedule with the whole planning process. They brought wonderful ideas that worked around us. Dreams came to reality
Lindsay and her team are amazing! If you don't think you'll need a wedding planner- think again. This wedding planning team truly brought our dream wedding to life at Nella Terra- while alleviating so much stress off our plate. We primarily worked with Lindsay, and she created a thoughtful timeline for us. Wedding planning from beginning to end was so EASY because of Lindsay. Lindsay, and the rest of the Simply Lovely team were responsive, resourceful and attentive to all the details that were important to us. Amazing Experience!
Lindsay and team were so helpful on our special day and throughout the entire planning process. Great wedding planner and designer
Words cannot express our gratitude for Tannya and her team. We got connected to Tannya through our original venue (Nella Terra), then covid hit and we couldn’t move forward with this venue. For a short amount of time (6 months to be exact!), Tannya worked with me and my now husband to find a new venue.
If you are a Bride looking for a wedding planner, Tannya is the right person to help plan and design your wedding. As a bride planning her wedding during covid, there are a lot of uncertainties and changes. It gave me relief that she responds to my inquiries/questions as soon as she can. My inside joke with her is “When do you sleep?”, this woman even replies after midnight!
I love that when you use her service, the Aisle Planner website comes free of use. It made planning easier, especially when we would have phone meetings, it’s a great tool to visualize the layout of the venue, create a color palette theme, place in guest information, and many more.
The Simply Lovely Team is absolutely AMAZING! Our wedding day went on smoothly and came out beautiful because of them.

Lindsay was a key part of making my wedding stress free!
Our venue required us to book Simply Lovely Events for coordination I believe we booked the Essentials package which starts communication 3 months leading up to your event.
We primarily worked with Lindsay and she was amazing!!! My husband and I agree that her personality is perfect for wedding planning when things where chaotic or stressful the warmth and tone in her voice instantly calmed you down and anything you needed she would figure it out (like us forgetting the flower girl crowns in a fridge in the bridal suite and her getting it for u), making sure we were fed appetizers since we couldn't make it to cocktail hour, and helping us with last minute logistics leading up to the wedding). It's hard to trust the little details with just anyone but Lindsay was beyond organized and fun to work with!
They use a tool called Aisle Planner and as a person who is obsessed with note taking and creating Google sheets this tool was a dream! It had our ceremony, cocktail, reception layouts. It was so easy to come up with table assignments or plan out where decor would be. It also was an organization tool allowing us to upload our vendors contracts, payment due dates, and budgets.
At the end of the night they made sure that we had all of our items back from the wedding packed in the car we got everything back and they packed it up nicely in the boxes we provided! Even threw in dessert so we had late night snacks. -

The BEST Coordinator! : Kind, Organized, Professional and Fun
Have you ever heard of a wedding day going completely according to schedule?! Well, we experienced that first hand working with Lindsay and Simply Lovely Events!!
We got married at Nella Terra Cellars and although Simply Lovely Events was a required vendor, we could not have been more grateful to work with Lindsay. From the first call, she was excited, kind, and flexible in everything we had to do. Any time I had a question, Lindsay was always quick to respond. She truly made the wedding planning process a breeze and fun! I also found their Aisle Planner Tool extremely helpful to track budget, planning action items, guest lists, and seating arrangements.
On the rehearsal day, we met with Lindsay's teammate Olivia who made sure we had all of our inventory and helped the entire bridal party understand their roles and responsibilities for the ceremony.
We are so grateful to Lindsay and Olivia for helping make our wedding the most perfect day. We would highly recommend working with Lindsay and Simply Lovely Events to anyone planning a wedding! -

Love Simply Lovely Events!
I'm so grateful I had Simply Lovely Events at our wedding. From the beginning of the planning process to the big day, Lindsay and her team created an incredible experience. They did an excellent job keeping us on track while also providing emotional support for our worries and anxieties. Trust on the big day, you're going to get the celebrity treatment. Everything ran on time, and Simply Lovely Events was nothing but kind and gentle to our family and friends. Our best man had a spot on his tux from a shaving accident, and the team saved the day! My wedding day was a dream, and I credit Simply Lovely Events for helping us achieve that. -

Truly Amazing!
We worked with Lindsay to plan our wedding and she was incredible. I couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator or nicer person to work with in general. I asked her a million questions and she was always quick to respond and never made me feel as if I was asking too much or being a bother. She’s extremely friendly and efficient and gives great advice. She also didn’t mind to create different reception plans so I could see different layouts before selecting the one I wanted. She was very flexible with us and our crazy schedules when planning meetings. Very personable. Lindsay definitely made us feel special on our wedding day and made sure we were stress free and taken care of when it came to making sure we got some appetizers and a cocktail as well as getting my sandals for me when I needed them. Lindsay is An absolute sweetheart and I couldn’t have done it without her! -

Amazing wedding planning / coordinating team!
Tannya and team are SO fun to work with — they helped plan and coordinate our wedding ceremony and reception at Nella Terra. We had to postpone twice due to COVID, and they were able to provide us with invaluable advice and resources to help with guest and vendor communication. We met with them a few times in the months leading up to our wedding to align on relevant details and logistics, and they were able to handle everything from decorating to guest management on the day of — which meant we were free to enjoy our special day!! We are sooo so grateful for their help, as their attention to detail and hard work enabled us to spend more time with our loved ones and less time worrying! Simply Lovely!
We booked our wedding at Nella Terra Cellars, and Simply Lovely Events was a required vendor. Although we initially did not think it was necessary to have a wedding coordinator, my husband and I are so glad we did. Lindsay Brys was our main event coordinator, and we had such a good feeling about her from the very first meeting.
Our original June 2020 wedding date ended up being postponed due to Covid-19. It wasn’t until about 2 months before our June 2021 wedding date that we found out our event was going to happen.
Lindsay was soon in touch with us again. She worked with us on our wedding day timeline, accounting for every detail, and shared the final version with our vendors.
The aisle planner software program made it easier to manage our guest list and plan the seating arrangements for our reception.
Aisle Planner also allowed us to enter our wedding decor inventory list. We met with Olivia, our other coordinator, the day before our wedding to go over every single item on our inventory list. It was beyond helpful that we could leave all of our decor onsite, and Lindsay and Olivia ensured everything was set up just as we had envisioned. Olivia ran our rehearsal so smoothly and she is so pleasant to work with.
The timeline turned out to be extremely helpful, just as Lindsay had told us. Our coordinators really kept us, our wedding party, family and guests, and our vendors all on track. Lindsay and Olivia made an amazing team, and took such great care of us on our our wedding. We would highly recommend Simply Lovely Events to any future bride and groom!

Highly recommend Lindsay from Simply Lovely
Lindsay from Simply Lovely Events deserves all the stars in the world. We booked our venue (Nella Terra) and were required by the venue to hire Simply Lovely as a coordinator. To be completely honest, I was not too thrilled by this requirement when I booked. However, after going through the experience with Lindsay, I can confidently say it was well worth every penny we spent. There is not one single complaint I have with her or this company. We had to reschedule our wedding, which happened to be before our first meeting with Lindsay. She reached out again to us a few months prior to the rescheduled wedding. After that initial meeting, I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders that the vision I had for the wedding was going to come true. Lindsay is organized, encouraging, knowledgeable and most of all caring for her clients. From this point on, there was another 2-3 meetings I believe even though the package was for day of coordination! During that entire period, Lindsay was readily available for all questions and concerns and answered back in a timely manner. She knows exactly what she is doing and if she doesn’t have the answer, she finds it and gets back to you as soon as possible. She assists with the coordination of the vendors, layouts for the ceremony, reception and cocktail hour, timeline sheet, your inventory and much more. On the rehearsal and day of the wedding, she and her team assisted with the set up of all items and made the day run as smooth as can be! She is such a kindhearted soul and you can tell she really cares to make your event perfect. Her teammate the day of was amazing as well. We cannot thank Lindsay enough and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone having a wedding! -

True Professionals
We worked with Lindsay from Simply Lovely as a required vendor for our wedding at Nella Terra this past June for their Lovely Day (final 3 months) package. As both of us are perfectionists and planners, I thought we would not need a professional planner. Wow, were we so glad to be proven wrong! In the last 3 months leading up to the wedding, my partner and I felt reassured that we were checking off all the items on our to-do list that we both did or did not anticipate. As the days got closer to the event, so many little questions and to-dos popped up to which we went to Lindsay for a timely and helpful answer or solution. And seriously, timely responses are everything to an anxious bride. Lindsay was extremely professional and had a wonderful positive energy working whenever we communicated. In the last couple of weeks of high wedding stress and several issues we ran into with last minute changes, Lindsay helped us navigate it swiftly. She was also key to getting a hold of our venue or answering some questions relating to them since they were quite slow at responding (meaning added anxiety and stress). The wedding rehearsal, prep, set up, and day itself ran so smoothly thanks to both Lindsay and her assistant Olivia who was also so pleasant and a joy to work with. I had a lot of personal decor requiring TLC (plants and lights and photo frames) which by Lindsay's suggestions all were set up smoothly without a hitch. During the reception, my husband and I didn’t have to worry about going hungry or going without a drink because the team constantly attended to our needs, meaning we were always smiling and just simply enjoying our day. They were seriously such stealthy ninjas running the show perfectly from the background. We could not imagine having celebrated our special day successfully without your team. Thank you for streamlining the planning process and ironing out any issues that cropped up swiftly and with a smile. -

Lindsay hands down is the absolute best!! I am so happy that Simply lovely was a preferred vendor with Nella Terra, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. We booked Simply Lovely Events as they were a required vendor for our venue, Nella Terra Cellars. I am so happy they were required because Lindsay and team were THE BEST! My mom and I are super planners, so during the initial planning phase, we were skeptical that we would need a coordinator to help us. As planning got more detailed, we could see that having Lindsay there to help us was invaluable and we could not have done it without her. She was so organized with every detail, kept me informed and prepared with every step of the planning process, and made sure our wedding day flowed so easily. I had a minor crisis about our reception timeline a week before our wedding and felt so bad about asking her to change it, especially since she had already sent it out to all the vendors, but she didn't even blink an eye and made the changes immediately! Our Experience: My wife and I got married at Nella Terra Cellars and could not be happier our experience with our wedding planner Lindsay Brys. Like many couples, we had to manage the logistical nightmares of canceling, rescheduling, and moving dates throughout 2020 before finally landing on May 2021. Lindsay: full time wedding planner (part time counselor) is an angel in disguise. We can say with absolute confidence: our wedding would not have run through as smoothly or as beautifully as it did without Lindsay and the SLE team. From napkin folds to the processional orders, we cannot emphasize enough what a luxury it is to have someone who is able to walk us through the hundreds of decisions around planning a wedding. Beyond her remarkable attention to detail is Lindsay's humanity. Lindsay was a constant source of calm and positivity. You certainly feel that she had a vested, borderline tenacious interest in seeing our special day through. Her energy was felt. Her positivity appreciated. Needless to say, if you are considering a wedding planner (and even if you're not), we cannot express enough how much we recommend Simply Lovely Events.
Practical Note: We loved the app you used to help plan our wedding. It was beyond helpful to have all of our checklists, contracts, schedules, seating charts, etc. all in one place to manage. I/we had a zoom walkthrough with our bridal party a few days before the wedding and everyone's jaws were dropped around how organized 'we' were but we know who the true mastermind was. It really is those who orchestrate behind the scenes that are the real heroes. -

Couldn’t have done it without them!
This is a long overdue review but I needed to finally write it :)
We got married at Nella Terra in Sunol and Simply Lovely Events was the partnered coordinator we had to use, and there were no complaints at all! Tannya was so patient and answered all questions with tons of details to make us feel at ease with the planning process. The software they used for event planning was so user friendly and helped us stay organized and up to date on tasks to be done leading up to the big day. It was also helpful with keeping our guestlist and table arrangements organized! Every phone or in-person meeting was pleasant and she always quickly responded to emails, and there were a lottt of emails.
We met Lindsay during the final walk through and rehearsal and she was also phenomenal! We could not have been more satisfied with the outcome of the wedding day. I provided votives, picture frames, signage, etc and expected the final result to look a certain way, but on the day of, everything was prettier than I ever imagined! It was so beautiful to see their professional vision come to life and exceed my expectations.
Throughout the wedding day, they were efficient in keeping up with the busy timeline, allowing extra buffer time if something ran really late, but never running too late to throw the schedule off. They were always calm and checked on us periodically to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of throughout the night which we appreciated a ton.
We can’t recommend them more!! Overall so pleased with our experience with Nella Terra and Simply Lovely Events. -

Like many other couples, the wedding we had initially planned for could not happen due to COVID. We opted for a very, very small intimate ceremony at our original venue, Nella Terra. Amazing Experience Working With Simply Lovely Events
Simply Lovely Events made our wedding day absolutely perfect and better than we even imagined it could be! Unfortunately, my husband and I were forced to reschedule our big wedding day like many other couples due to Covid 19. Although we both decided our big celebration could wait, we knew our actual marriage could not so we moved forward with a small intimate ceremony on our originally scheduled date in June of 2020. From the moment of our initial phone interview with Tannya to working hours on end with Lindsay, we felt the supported by Simply Lovely Events. Working predominately with Lindsay we learned she was exceptionally organized, prompt to reply to emails or phone calls, and, arguably most important, you can tell she truly loves her job. Lindsay put my husband and me at complete ease throughout the whole process. As a planner myself, she gracefully handled the onslaught of emails, questions and requests I sent to her weekly. Magical Experience
My husband and I chose Simply Lovely Events (SLE) for our wedding and we were extremely satisfied with our choice. We selected the Custom Lovely Day + Partial Planning and Design package. It included 2 lovely day assistants on the day of the wedding and full design assistance. The type of wedding we envisioned was a rustic glam affair. We had a general vision of what we wanted for our wedding day with many of our vendors pre-selected before we decided to choose SLE. I was open to new ideas, but I already had an ideas embedded in my mind (just to give you an understanding of what type of bride I was). We believe the price for her packages are incomparable! From 4 differently priced wedding consults, including one from a luxury wedding planner (with rates above >$10K), Tannya’s initial consult was the most impressive and blew us away. At the time, she introduced us to a website called Aisle Planner - which was an incredibly useful tool to keep us organized throughout the process. My husband thought it set her apart from the others. They are a preferred vendor by Nella Terra for great reason - her team is extremely knowledgeable of the property, experienced, and work well with Nella Terra staff. Having a planner/day of coordinator that has a great relationship with the venue is highly recommended. We cannot stress this enough! Tannya and her team were our advocates when we had questions/concerns about our wedding, which we thought was extremely valuable. She knew the rules and regulations of our venue like the back of her hand. Her knowledge of the venue played a huge role in the decorations, spacing, and seating charts. Tannya had great recommendations for florists, rental companies, and custom made signage/pieces that fit our budget and style. I also really liked how she didn’t impose any of her ideas on us and incorporated all our ideas. She had great suggestions and didn’t make me feel obligated to choose them if, at times, I wanted to choose another option. By the final month, Tannya had a 3” binder of an accumulation of everything we had planned from the beginning. It was absolutely impressive. On our wedding day, Tannya and her team executed the day beautifully. Walking into our reception was like walking into a fairy tale. We are still in disbelief that it was actually our own wedding - it was truly everything I dreamed of and so much more. During the reception, we recalled a time where we were particularly stressed. By now, Tannya knew us very well and could tell by the looks of our faces that we were worried about something. Our friend had forgotten a guitar at the hotel that we wanted to use for the reception. Because we thought it was too late, we kept the disappointment to ourselves without thinking of telling SLE about it. Tannya immediately could tell something was wrong and approached us right away. We told her that we forgot the guitar we needed for the reception. She sent one of her “runners” to grab the guitar at the hotel (15 minutes away) and shifted the timeline around to allot for them to return. We were able to use our guitar! From the timeline, to the ceremony, and the reception - everything went flawlessly. Overall, I highly recommend Simply Lovely Events to anyone planning a wedding. Tannya and her team will do their absolute best to make sure you will have the best day of your lives!-

Tannya was the best wedding planner!
We got married at Nella Terra in Sunol, CA and Simply Lovely Events was a required vendor for event coordination. I truly understand why they chose Simply Lovely Events, because Tannya is amazing and "simply lovely" (cheesy, but I had to). Tannya is extremely professional, kind, speedy responder, and everything you need in an event coordinator. She goes through every little detail and makes sure all the i's have been dotted and t's crossed. Throughout the whole process, Tanya was always there to respond to my emails (super quickly) and provide any guidance or solutions. If she was out of town, she made sure to let you know and also make sure someone else on her staff responds to emails. I had a lot of last minute changes to the seating chart, and Tannya was extremely patient and quick at making those changes.
On the day of our wedding, I had Tannya and Angela there to support me. They graciously helped me bustle my dress (and they were so fast at it, even though they've never done my dress before!), since I wanted to let my bridal party and mom mingle with guests during cocktail hour. They kept a calm demeanor during the whole day, which is what you want in wedding coordinators.
I really wanted to have appetizers set aside for me and my husband to enjoy, since we were doing pictures during cocktail hour, and Tannya made sure to get three of each appetizers for us to enjoy. :) I also appreciate Tannya and Angela getting us refills of our alcoholic beverages during the reception, since we did not have time to go to the bars ourselves.
I did not think we needed a wedding coordinator, but looking back, it's definitely a necessity (we had 156 guests). I'm so happy to have had Tannya and Angela at our wedding, and I would highly recommend them! -

I am so grateful for Tannya and her team! From day one, Tannya was so sweet and patient. She understood what I wanted and what my style was right away. I always felt like she supported me and was on my team.
At one point, I started to feel overwhelmed with wedding planning and I will always appreciate what she did for me. She started sending me weekly emails with 3 tasks I had to get done. I felt so much better after that!
Tannya gave me some great vendor recommendations and helped facilitate our major meetings (mock up, final walk through, etc.). She was always so thorough in her emails and quick to reply. I felt like I can really depend on her and she made me feel at ease.

Tannya and Angela are the DREAM team. I knew I was in great hands with SLE from the moment I signed on. Tannya gave me vendor references after looking at my style board and discussing what look and vibe I wanted for the big day. The vendors she referred elevated my wedding to the next level. I cannot possibly speak highly enough of working with Tannya as my wedding coordinator. My day would not have been as enjoyable for me or my mother if it were not for her presence and impeccable organization from beginning to end. From our initial meetings to discuss layouts, timelines, vendors, etc. Tannya made the process wildly simple, understood everything I wanted to accomplish, and ran with every idea I had. She was very familiar with our venue, which was invaluable to me during planning, and resulted in a lot of mistakes I would have made on my own being avoided.
My other vendors adored working with Tannya as well- everyone was on the same page, had all of the information they needed, and was easily able to keep to our timeline from beginning to end.
Tannya did it all- she helped me make the right decisions, she kept me organized, she ensured nothing fell through the cracks, she kept me calm before and during the wedding day, and she even helped me manage some family drama with the in-laws (way above & beyond the call of duty!).
Every bride should be so lucky to be blessed with someone like Tannya for their perfect day. The best money I spent out of any other vendor! -

Tannya was AMAZING throughout my entire wedding planning process! I purchased the Lovely Day package, but I felt that Tannya offered even more than I asked for. She did monthly check-ins with me for an entire year. She happily attended some vendor meetings with me and gave me very valuable advice. Whenever I was stressed about anything wedding related, Tannya was available through text/email and she always knew exactly what to do/say to provide me with solutions. I appreciated how organized Tannya is. She planned my wedding day timeline down to the minute and she ensured that all of my vendors knew exactly what to do on the day of my wedding. All of my bridal party said that I was probably the calmest bride they've ever seen, and I think that was all thanks to Tannya and her team! They made sure that my wedding followed the timeline and everything played out beautifully. I highly recommend Simply Lovely Events to all couples! -

There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am to Tannya for everything she did to help me through my wedding process. She is so kind and down to earth and brought me down to calmness whenever I felt overwhelmed; she is always available to her brides, and so professional and on point with everything. Her experience gives her the ability to offer suggestions and give you lots of advice which we can all use going through such an overwhelming process! I seriously have no clue how I wouldn’t have got through it without her. I would highly recommend Tannya to anyone planning a wedding!!!! -

Simply Lovely Events is a life saver! If I can give advice to any couple that is planning a wedding, please consider hiring an event planner! I wish I had from the on-set :) I was married on October 1, 2017 and besides marrying my husband, hiring a wedding planner was the best thing that happened to us.
Tannya DeMeyer from Simply Lovely Events is a breath of fresh air! She is pleasant, organized, a sweetheart, has a strong team & so easy to work with. She has all the right ideas, strong relationships with other vendors and will never veer you in the wrong direction. -

For me, wedding planning felt very intimidating – I didn’t know where to start much less worry about every detail! I was also faced with planning my wedding from many states away, so I was in a bit of a personal panic when I found Tannya. Once she came into the wedding planning picture, all of the planning-related stress went away thanks to her expertise. She did a great job managing and connecting me to the process despite the challenges of planning long distance.
Tannya is a pro. It is evident she has positive relationships with many vendors and was always able to point me in the right direction for décor, floral, photographer, etc. Tannya knows what questions to ask and how to answer them if you’re not sure. She makes sure you stay on a good planning timeline without applying pressure. She has wonderful creativity and loves to find ways to bring your ideas and wedding-day dreams to life.
I often say that if anything went wrong on my wedding day, I have no idea – and I can genuinely say that was thanks to Tannya handling everything so flawlessly. Hiring her was the best wedding budget decision we made – I cannot recommend her enough!

Simply Lovely Events was a required vendor as part of our wedding venue. We opted for the Essentials package which focused on support for the 3 months leading up to the wedding and day of coordination. While the cost was on the higher side for planning/coordination services, they provided thorough coverage according to the plans and made it as low stress a process as possible.
I had the pleasure of working with Lindsay for our special day and she did an amazing job making it the day the best of our lives. Throughout the process she was a great communicator with reminders, thorough follow-ups, and fast response times. She considered our styles and preferences from our meetings and with questionnaires that helped create a layout that we loved. On top of that she was always helping us adjust as things inevitably changed. The down-to-the-minute timeline and planning made the day go seamlessly with us often being slightly ahead of schedule despite the many activities we squeezed in. On the wedding day I truly did not worry about a thing as Lindsay had it covered, and she regularly checked in on us for any needs. Overall, it was a great experience.

Got the job done but room for improvement
We worked mainly with Angela and Tannya at Simply Lovely events as part of the contract with signed with Nella Terra Cellars as they have an exclusive partnership with the venue.
I thought Simply Lovely Events did a competent job overall. I hope this review is taken constructively because I think they are good people who are trying to run a small business satisfying the needs of many different clients but I feel I need to be honest about the issues I experienced that prevent me from giving them more stars, even though I would like to.
Cost - the cheapest package I chose was still pretty expensive given that it was actually more for day of coordination services vs. actual support around planning and communication with vendors. I wish there was a cheaper option for just day of coordination. There were also other add on costs that I didn't experience with any of my other vendors - ex: 3% processing fee if you pay with credit card. Even though they state this in the contract, you may not remember with all of the different payments you have to issue. I also was charged an additional $50 since my photographer needed an extra 1/2 hour of time to shoot getting ready shots and they said they needed to be present. It's a small amount but it was something that kind of bothered me given how expensive the package already was.
Attention to detail - unfortunately my experience was that I felt like there was a lack of attention to details during the planning phase and I felt I had to be pro-active making sure they were correct. Most of the conversations around wedding coordination and timeline were initiated by me vs. other way around. They did fulfill their requirements for 3 planning meetings as part of the package but to be honest, most of the real work happens outside of those meetings and are left up to you to figure out and then communicate to them. Because of their partnership with Nella Terra I did feel at times they were trying to fulfill Nella Terra's requirements more than mine -ex: constant reminders for me to have my external vendors attach signed code of conduct form and proof of insurance. I actually wasn't clear that they wouldn't be helping with that when I initially signed the contract and that their communication with vendors would be limited to just sending out the agreed timeline and handling day of coordination details.
I think their handling of the day of coordination was really great. I truly appreciated both Angela and MacKenzie for all of their hard work that day and told them so afterwards. There is so much going on that day that I really didn't have bandwidth to think about anything and having them there was absolutely vital. One thing I would suggest future brides to clarify beforehand is who is responsible making sure the florist delivers all of the items to the bridal party on time (bouquets, boutonnières, flower crown etc). We had an issue with our florist not delivering the items as expected but it wasn't noticed until our first look by our photographer and therefore some of the items were missed in our getting ready shots. I think this is an area Simply Lovely could help out with as part of the day of coordination services. I want to be clear there are many other things they did do that day (ex: help light candles, setup the favors at each table, do all the coordination with shuttle and rest of Nella Terra and catering staff, help me unbutton my bustle etc.) and I think they did an awesome job. Even when unexpected things happened -ex: missing boutonnières they kept their calm. I can't tell you how appreciative I was of MacKenzie for running to get my Dad's boutonnière right before we were scheduled to walk down the aisle. It was seriously nerve-wracking but I was so glad they were there to help out.
The challenge of writing an honest review for your wedding vendors is that it is an incredibly personal day and all of these people were helping make it possible. -
