The most magical make-up artist you could ever dream of!

Jessica is truly magical, there’s no two ways about it. I spent a year and a half planning a wedding from across the country, and was somehow fortunate enough to snag Simply Elegant for myself and my bridesmaids.

Jessica always communicated promptly, and was even kind enough to find time for a rather last minute makeup trial when I suddenly had dates for a final visit to our venue. Her home studio was beautiful; the trial helped me lock in exactly what I was looking for; and she brought every ounce of fun and professionalism from her private studio to the accommodations we were getting ready in.

She arrived right on time for the big day, and immediately got to work setting up the perfect workspace for herself and the wedding party — finding the best light and area to set up in a sea of getting-ready chaos.

More than anything, what truly stuck out about Jessica’s work, is her ability to enhance her client’s natural features. I wanted to look like my best self, and she absolutely blew me away. Not only for me, but for my wonderful bridesmaids! She listened careful to each of their requests, made sure she knew exactly what sort of look they were comfortable with, and nailed it from the get go.

She works efficiently but does not rush, has a gentle touch, and a fantastic personality. She immediately worked out a schedule with my hair vendor to make sure they used their time efficiently, and finished right on time, which brought some sorely needed peace of mind to a hectic day. Jessica knocked my wedding day make-up needs out of the park, and I couldn’t have possibly chosen better! I will always be beyond thankful I chose Simply Elegant for my big day, and you will be, too!

The best makeup artist!!!!

Jessica was so amazing on my wedding day! Me and my bridesmaids makeup came out incredible! She did a soft glam look for us and it was flawless and lasted all day in 97 degree heat!!!! Not only was the makeup beautiful but she was an absolute pleasure to have on my wedding day! She was so sweet and kind and so easy to work with!! Jessica made my wedding day amazing!

Jessica and her assistant America did the makeup for my whole bridal party (11 ladies in total)! Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous.
Jessica was beyond amazing for my trial and wedding day. I had a few last minute changes and she was extremely accommodating. She went above and beyond to ensure all of my wedding party was happy with their makeup and took her time to really make that happen. I was fortunate enough to have Jessica attend my wedding so she was there for any last minute touch ups. Highly recommend Jessica!

LOVED my make up!

Jessica is one of the absolute best in the biz! I first met her at my brother's wedding and loved my make up! When it was time to choose a make up artist for my wedding I remembered her but also wanted to look around. Without know it was her business, I came upon her website and loved her work! When I went to contact her is when I realized she had been the make up artist at my brother's wedding!

She made the whole process seamless! I didn't have a clue on how I wanted my make up and she was able to make me feel like a princess on my special day! she came right to the venue and coordinated with my hair stylist in order to get myself and my bridal party ready. everyone who had make up done looked flawless and gorgeous!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Jessica. Her work is quality and will be contacting her the next time I need my make up done!

Beautiful Wedding Makeup!

Jessica did an amazing job for myself, my 6 bridesmaids, and my mother on my wedding day! At the trial, Jessica listened to what I wanted my makeup to look like, as well as gave me helpful tips and ideas! I absolutely loved my makeup and the individual lashes she did for me on my wedding day. Jessica was very easy to talk to! Thank you SO much Jessica for everything!

Jessica was amazing to work with. It was easy to communicate with her through email for the time leading up to the wedding. I had two trials with her over the span of a year, and she was very accommodating with wanting to try new looks until I was totally satisfied. She also did makeup for 7 of my bridesmaids. Her price is very reasonable. She offers airbrush foundation and individual lashes, which every elegant bride will want. Her personal attitude is cheerful, and bubbly, while her work ethic is strong, talented, and committed. All my ladies and I looked fabulous thanks to Jessica, and I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Jessica and America did an amazing job doing all the make up for my 9 bridesmaids, mother, mother in law and myself. I am not a person who wears any make up besides masacara on occasions. Jessica listened to my requests and was able to really enhance my features without making me feel like I had too much on. All of the wedding party enjoyed chatting with them. The timing for everyone worked out well and we all are happy customers!

I have received more compliments on my makeup from my wedding day than I ever could imagine! Jessica came highly recommended by my hair stylist. From the second I reached out to Jessica about makeup, I was put at ease and felt totally comfortable with her and the entire process. Jessica worked one on one with me to set up a trial visit and gently and lovingly took me from an excited bride who NEVER wore makeup to a confident wife who wears makeup daily...I even get lashes put on monthly with Jessica now! And I LOVE it! The day of my wedding she arrived, on site, early with EVERYTHING she needed and more...down to her own lighting to ensure for a successful experience. Her kindness and compassion put not only me, the bride, at ease but all of my wedding party as well. She helped me to feel so beautiful on my wedding day! After the wedding I met with Jessica to learn more about the basics of makeup. We had a good laugh at the fact that I didn't even own makeup! Jessica taught me how to apply makeup and even went so far as to create a list of supplies she recommended for my personal needs....right down to which brushes are used for which makeup. We scheduled another appointment for Jessica to teach me how to use the makeup I purchased I currently am a client of hers for eyelash extensions. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day that I wanted to continue to learn more and work with Jessica to continue that feeling of confidence with makeup and lashes. Being a makeup artist myself, and not getting married local to where I live, I was nervous that I didn't have a good referral in the NY area. I reached out to numerous artists and wasn't all that excited about them. I came across Jessica's page and LOVED her work! She then sent me her pricing list which was perfect for my bridesmaids. Her work was flawless and everyone loved her. I also had her do my eyelash extensions in her home studio, two days before the wedding. She is very quick and precise with her work. Her home studio is gorgeous, and she was so friendly and fun to work with. I would hands down refer her to anyone that gets married in the NY area! Thank you Jessica!!!

I found Simply Elegant Beauty after searching makeup artists online. I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup so I was looking for very natural styles. After checking out the website I knew Jessica would be a perfect fit. We spoke on the phone about my usual beauty routine and set up a trial. She listened to everything I wanted and totally delivered. Jessica is super sweet and clearly knows what she is doing. On my wedding day my makeup was done perfectly. It looked exactly how it looked at the trial and I couldn’t have been happier. In addition to my makeup looking great, it lasted all day and night. I would recommend Jessica to anyone looking to have makeup done for any occasion!

Jessica is so talented and loves what she does... which is exactly the reason why I knew she would be perfect to help my bridesmaids and I look our best on my special day. She works with you to find your best look, and will do whatever she can to make you comfortable and fabulous at the same time! Jessica was awesome! I had contacted and she was very prompt in returning my messages! It just so happened that the night before my trial she got engaged herself! She messaged me and asked if it was possible to reschedule and of course i said yes! She immediately ensured that she was available reschedule my trial whenever worked best for me! When I did get to meet her in person she was so apologetic for rescheduling, I actually felt bad that she was worried about my trial the night she was engaged!!! She ended up not charging me for the trial at all. She is such a genuinely nice person aaaand i absolutely loved the way she did my makeup! I booked her right away! She actually was also booked by my now sister-in-law who was married a month before me. So I got another chance to work with her and I loved my makeup both at my sister-in-law's wedding and my own! She also had suggested the lash extensions! OMG...they were amazing! She literally does them one lash at a time! Her studio is super cute and makes you feel super comfortable! Jessica was simply amazing. From the moment I emailed her I knew she was the one that I wanted to do my make-up for the best day of my life. She made time with me to talk on the phone to get a better idea of what I wanted. I had 6 bridesmaids, 2 mom's, and myself. Every single one of us looked stunning and Jessica made time for everyone, even an unexpected bridesmaid. Jessica is welcoming and totally listens to what you are looking for, along with giving her expert direction. Jessica scheduled two make-up trials with me and even had my hair stylist come to the second one so that I could see everything put together and it was awesome. She is probably one of the kindest people I have ever met and I am so happy with everything she did for me and my friends and family on this special day. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. Jessica is a gifted artist. She is amazing with her color palette for faces. My trial makeup in the spring was perfect! My skin tanned of course by summer and she was quick to adapt the perfect shades on my wedding day. Her work is impeccable and she has such patience for us crazy brides! Love her! Jessica came recommended through another vendor she was able to meet with me for an initial consultation and explain the whole process i've never had professional make up and really wasn't sure what to expect . So we scheduled a trial two months before my wedding and it was stunning I couldn't believe how a natural and beautiful it really looked! The big day finally came and Jessica was able to duplicate exactly what she had done in my trial my make up stayed looking amazing all night! Jessica did my makeup for a professional photoshoot I had done and my makeup looked FLAWLESS and my pictures came out amazing! Jessica is so incredibly sweet, professional, and patient! If you want the right person to do your make-up, hire Jessica! I cannot say enough great things about her and her work! From the first day I contacted her I knew that she would be great to work with. She was punctual for the trial as well as early for the wedding! She did make up for myself along with 4 bridesmaids and my mother and everyone looked flawless! Everyone had specific (also, picky) requests as far as how they wanted to look (natural, glamorous, bold eyes etc) and she accommodated all of them. We all got eyelashes and they were beautiful too. Everyone in the bridal party raved about how much they loved her, and we got endless compliments from guests on our makeup! The short and sweet of it is: If you want someone professional, friendly, efficient and reasonably priced to do your makeup, contact Jessica NOW! There is so much pressure when looking for vendors, but I promise, you won't regret hiring Jessica!

I met Jessica at a bridal show, where I luckily won a free make up trial. Jessica was very easy to get in contact with and flexible with her time to schedule the free trial. After viewing her work, she completely won me over. On my wedding day she arrived on time and super early to make sure everyone was ready on time. All of my girls, my mom, and myself all looked flawless. she make us all look natural but enhanced our natural beauty. We all looked perfect!! couldn't of been happier. I completely recommend her to anyone and everyone that needs make up for any occasion.

I couldn't be any happier with the services that Jessica and Simply Elegant Beauty provided for me and my bridesmaids. Working with Jessica was such a great experience! She has done my make up several times now. I would highly recommend her to anyone and to any bride looking to feel beautiful from the inside out. I highly recommend Jessica for any bride planning their wedding! I got married this past June, and I was extremely happy with my makeup! I literally felt like cinderella on my wedding day!!! Jessica was excellent. I do not have a negative word to say about the service I received from her leading up to and on my wedding day in July 2014. She was incredibly responsive, well priced considering how talented she is, and very accomodating to my schedule. My makeup (and that of my 10 bridesmaids and mother) was the perfect balance of dramatic, pretty and natural. She tailored the makeup to each girls' preferences and skin tone. She is a very sweet person to boot! One of my bridesmaids later used her for her own wedding in July 2015 and we again had a great experience. Thanks Jessica!

My new husband and I were married last night and I couldn't wait any longer to say that Jessica is absolutely amazing. From the moment I met her at the trial, I knew I had to book her for my wedding. To start, Jessica's calm and gentle personality made everything so easy and so relaxing! She is so professional, organized, knowledgable and talented that I was impressed with her from the start. My girls, my mom and I all got our makeup done by Jessica and I have to say that everyone looked amazing. Everyone looked like themselves but more enhanced and more elegant! It was very important to me that I looked like myself on my wedding day and Jessica heard that and made that happen. Jessica and Simply Elegant Beauty are simply the best! She uses fantastic products, which right off the bat I loved! She understands your skin type, tone and colors that will go well or not. She genuinely wants you to look and feel beautiful.

I had worked with her for one of my best friend’s weddings last July and when I got engaged I KNEW that I had to call her to see if she was available for my wedding. Both times I worked with her she did an absolutely fantastic job with everyone’s make up! The first wedding that I was in had 12 bridesmaids and every single one of them was very happy with their make up – which is no small feat especially with a bunch of NYC girls.

When I worked with her for my wedding she once again absolutely knocked it out of the park. Everyone absolutely loved their make up, especially me. My bridesmaids were not used to wearing a ton of make up so she made them just look like the most naturally beautiful version of themselves which was perfect. She did my mother and mother in laws make up – which is also very difficult because they have no idea what they want and she did such an excellent job – I have never seen my mother look so beautiful! As for my makeup, she worked with me at the trial and then we took a little different route for the wedding, which I was absolutely pleased with! I felt beautiful and the best version of myself all day – which is all you can ask for. As for her demeanor Jessica is so sweet and friendly that you feel like your chatting with your best friend while getting your make up done so it makes you feel at ease on your wedding day! I absolutely recommend her for weddings – and actually was talking to her and were going to work together on some facials and getting my skin cleared up! Love love loved working with her!

Jessica did an amazing job on my make-up. Jessica really listened to what I wanted my make-up to look like that day--the trial was great, she was really patient and made sure I was happy with everything. Honestly, the day of make-up came out better than I could have ever imagined. Jessica understood that I wanted a more natural look, not only did she succeed--she surpassed--I felt like I looked like myself--but the best version! Jessica also did my mom's makeup. There was not a trial with my mom so she had to figure it out the day of---and on top of things my mom had a mark on her eye that somehow needed to be covered. Jessica again surpassed what we could imagined. Not only was my mom happy with the makeup and looked flawless, you could not tell she had a mark on her eye with it all looking natural.

I honestly could not say enough good things about Jessica--not only did she do a great job, she was so sweet and overall just amazing to work with on my special day!!!

Jessica did an amazing job on my makeup. We did a trial and tried a few different things and she was great about retrying things until we found what I wanted for my eyes. My makeup was flawless and was exactly what I wanted. It was natural but able to photograph well, it also did not make me feel like I had a ton of makeup on. It felt natural and looked amazing. She also did my mom's makeup and it looked great. I highly recommend working with Jessica for your wedding or any other special event.

Jessica did an awesome job on the make up for me and my girls. I did a trial but then changed the look completely the day of the wedding but it was still prefect. She also was only planning on doing 3 people and I think she ended up with 4 or 5 but that didn't phase her at all. I would definitely use her again for other events!

Jessica was easy to book for my wedding. She arrived on time and completed the make-up for my 7 bridesmaids, with her assistant, on time. The girls looked natural and beautiful. I would definitely recommend her to my friends.
