We used Silversilke for our wedding planning and Jeanette was amazing! She recommended great vendors and when our dj cancelled last minute she helped us confirm another one right away. On the wedding day her assistant stayed with me the whole time and she was honestly amazing. She was always fixing my hair and dress with out me even asking and making sure I had everything I needed. I also appreciate how special she made me and my family feel. We would highly recommend her! -

Jeanette was our day of coordinator for a 64 person wedding in Rio Grande. She provided services that supported day of logistics, timeline and MC. Communication day of with family members and wedding party was helpful to ensure that we had the day we wanted free of dramas. The wedding was supposed to be outdoors but with inclement weather Jeanette pivoted and supported vendor coordination inside. I would recommend her for day of coordination! -

We were so blessed to have Jeannette be our wedding planner for our August 2025 wedding at El Conquistador Resort. She came highly recommended by the venue and lived up to our expectations. I was at the end of my pregnancy when planning my destination wedding. I hired all the vendors then realized, how will I enjoy my wedding day and be carefree!?! I called Jeanette and immediately clicked with her organizational and professional skills. She planned everything down to every detail. Rehearsal, helped me with setting up entertainment and even party favors. She made sure everything was absolutely perfect and we were so thankful to have her. Thank you so much! -

Wow! I didn’t know what hiring a planner and coordinator would entail of, but it’s a must have when planning a wedding and nothing can be better than Jeanette and her team. We first worked with her in 2019, as we approached our 2020 wedding. We all know what happened and Jeanette helped us sadly cancel all of our plans (after helping book them!). 2 years later we called her back, ready to plan the reception of our dreams on my husbands home island. She and her team made us feel supported and protected from the chaos that leads up to the big day. She was calm when maybe I wasn’t :) and truly cared for us like we were her own family. We love Jeanette and wish we could have an event every year just to work with her. She’s organized, resourceful, calm yet assertive and just a lovely person inside and out. Thank you for making our dreams come true! And helping us navigate not 1 but 2 weddings. We love you! -

We contacted Silversilke just before the pandemic, and had to change our wedding date 3 times. Our wonderful wedding planner always helped us with everything, and supported us during this period. Jeanette's knowledge in the world of weddings is immense, she is very responsible and cares about every detail. I don't know how we would have managed this process, which ended in a dream wedding, without her. 100% recommendable. -

There are not enough great things I could say about Jeanette and her abilities. We met her in 2019 and immediately fell in love with her personality and passion for weddings. She was wonderful with trying to find us vendors that met our needs and budget and even scheduled meetings with us during our trips to Puerto Rico. We all know 2020 brought a huge challenge for the wedding business but Jeanette owned it with grace and promptness. She was in constant communication with our vendors and assured us frequently that all was still set for our postponement. We ended up getting married a whole year and eight months later and the wedding was more than I could have ever envisioned. Jeanette was just a dream that day. She ensured all my guests knew where to go and what time to be there. If anyone ever has any doubts in hiring a coordinator for their wedding, especially if it is a destination wedding like mine, DO IT and hire Jeannette!! She will forever be a part of our family and a close friend of ours. Looking forward to sharing a cafecito with you again, Jeannette! -

Jeanette and her assistant made our wedding day perfect! Jeanette is such a kind person and was always willing to help me. She listened to my many panic attacks. My wedding was originally planned for 2020 but due to the pandemic we had to postpone and that was extremely stressful ( for her and I). Jeanette tried her best to accommodate all of our request, rain or sunshine she was there. Her assistant was also super sweet and helpful. She honestly worked so hard and I appreciate her so much she made our wedding day go so smoothly! -

Highly Recommended!!!
Jeanette helped us plan our 2 day wedding ceremony including our Nigerian traditional wedding, our church wedding and our wedding reception. She was absolutely AMAZING!!! My husband and I do not live in PR so we needed someone to help plan a destination wedding for about 180 people and Jeannette exceeded our expectations. She was our hands and feet in PR helping us line up all the vendors that we needed for our big days. All her vendor recommendations were excellent. Our wedding day was PERFECT and we would not change a thing. All our guests raved about how organized our wedding was and it was all because of Jeanette. Our Nigerian traditional wedging was the first one she had done but she was so excited to quickly learn about our culture and made sure she did not miss a thing during our wedding day. Our church service and reception was also flawless. She was patient and went above and beyond for us and we truly appreciated all her efforts. We highly recommend Jeannette to plan your wedding! In fact, we recommended her to our friend who is getting married in San Juan next year and our friend is so grateful for us. Thank you for an amazing day Jeannette! We are so grateful. Highly recommend to anyone getting married in Puerto Rico. -

We used Jeanette as our day-of-wedding coordinator and both her and her assistant were the absolute best! Planning a destination wedding is stressful and I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet Jeanette a couple months prior to the wedding while visiting Puerto Rico. I immediately knew that she would be the perfect fit to ensure our wedding day was as stress-free as possible! Jeanette was always available for quick e-mails as questions came up during the process and was with us the entire day of the wedding for her “day-of” wedding coordination services. As I am someone who likes to be in control, I had full faith that Jeanette would carry out our vision for the day and was able to let her handle the timeline and ensuring everything went smooth. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we could not have done it without Jeanette and her team!! There is not a single thing I would change about our wedding day, and that was largely due to the help we got from Jeanette - from ensuring everything was in the proper spot, that all the vendors arrived and knew where to be when, and keeping our day on schedule to the timeline, we could not have asked for better service!! Highly recommend – if you’re questioning if you need a coordinator, the answer is yes! It makes the entire day go so smooth and allows you to have fun! Thank you so much! -

Best Day Ever
My husband and I got married on the 23rd of December 2018. We've been working with Jeanette since June of 2017. She has helped us grandly every step of the way. Jeanette was the best!! Rebecca Sent on 06/03/2018We hired Jeanette to help us plan our destination wedding in Puerto Rico in part because we had no local connections and very little knowledge of the area or options. We could not have been happier with our decision. She was our eyes and ears on the ground throughout the process of scheduling our first wedding date in October, which had to be rescheduled due to Hurricane Maria, and rescheduling everything a second time for our wedding last weekend. Despite all the challenges she experienced after the storm, Jeanette was there for us throughout the process as soon as she got back on her feet, providing invaluable advice, guidance and access to her wide group of local connections. Her personality radiates warmth and humor, and she kept us sane and calm in the face of every challenge. Our friends and family all commented on how we seemed to be the happiest couple they'd ever seen at a wedding- we have Jeanette to thank for making that possible.
When you're planning a destination wedding on an island where you don't really know what to expect, there's some degree of trust you have to place in your wedding planner. We were so smart to trust Jeanette, and couldn't thank her more for planning every detail that made our dream wedding weekend possible. -

It took me some time to write this review because every time I started to, I would get sad about the disappointment.
I hired Jeanette last year in 2020 before Covid hit. My initial wedding date was supposed to be in June 2020 and like many weddings, it was postponed several times. My wedding just happened on June 25, 2021 in San Juan Puerto Rico.
According to many communications between Jeanette and I, she was supposed to arrive at my hotel where the reception was going to be at 1 PM. At 1:45 she still hadn’t shown up so I had to reach out to her and she ended up arriving around 3 PM. My main reason for hiring a coordinator for the day was to help set up centerpieces/place cards, and any last minute things that needed to happen, that way my friends and family did not have to do it. I explicitly asked her if this is what she could mainly help me with and she agreed. Unfortunately, because Jeanette was late, my friends and family had to do the very things I had hired her to do. The amount of times I had to leave the bridal suite to take care of something was ridiculous, and I should have been enjoying the day getting ready. Had Jeanette been there she could have been the person who took care of those things. By the time she arrived, I was getting dressed and all the stressful things were done.
Once we were at the ceremony location she wanted my bridesmaids to do something completely different than what we had practiced the day before at the dress rehearsal. Now being that Jeanette was only hired to be a day of coordinator she was not obligated to be at the dress rehearsal; but I believe it could have helped had she come. But because she was not and she arrived late she seemed flustered and wanted my bridesmaids to do something completely different than what we had practiced. My bridesmaids stated to me that Jeanette was very rude to them, and didn’t seem to direct my family where they were supposed to go. The first two rows of my ceremony seats were completely empty even though I had told Jeanette that I wanted my family to sit there and to make sure they sat there.
Once we arrived at the reception, my photographer took the pictures of us inside the reception salon and then we were told by one of Jeanette’s assistants, (Angelica, Michele, and Dennisse), who were very sweet and very nice, to sit in a room while my guests were ushered in. We sat in that room with the photographers for at least 30 minutes with no word as to why my guests we’re not being ushered into the salon and it pushed back our timeline by 30 minutes. I did not see Jeanette that whole entire time. Her assistants were taking great care of us but they weren’t in charge so they had no idea as to why we waited. I spoke to my guests and they told me that they were waiting to be let in and no one let them in.
Throughout the whole night I had to seek out Jeanette to continue the timeline, which is pretty much what I did not want to do. I wanted to give that responsibility to someone else so that way I could just enjoy the day. But I was constantly thinking about who and what and when, and it shouldn’t have been me.
Before I wrote this review I did reach out to Jeanette a couple of days after the wedding to see if there could be any resolution between the two of us. And unfortunately, she didn’t agree that she fell short on her services that she had promised. She stated that because my father, my mother, and I said thank you that means that we were OK with the job that she did not complete. However, we’re from the south and we say thank you during an event and we handle business the next day. Because the very last thing I wanted to do was get into business on my wedding night during my reception when I’m trying to have a good time with my family and friends.
In my honest opinion, I hope that if you hire Jeanette as your day of coordinator that she does a better job for you than she did for me and that you are not let down. Because at the end of the day I was let down by her lack of services. Per her contract you must pay your remaining balance a month before your date, which perhaps once someone is paid it doesn’t matter what they do.

I went with Silversilke for the full wedding planning, although I probably could’ve just done the day of coordination. I already had some vendors chosen prior but Jeanette led me to some other greats vendors too. Communication was sometimes hit or miss. I wouldn’t hear back for a few days and would have to follow up constantly. Wish communication was better throughout the process. She set up vendor meetings when I went to the island but was a bit late for them. The day of wedding went smoothly thanks to Jeanette and her assistant. Unfortunately, I was very surprised to hear from my maid of honor/sister later on that she wasn’t very friendly and nice to my family so that was upsetting to hear and wish I had known sooner. I’m upset she made them uncomfortable and I would hope she never does that again.
