Best Day Of My Life!

I was planning my wedding under extenuating circumstances and everything had to be done in 2 months. Nancy was an absolute gem to work with. She was extremely responsive, took on all of my chaotic questions and requests with patience and understanding, and I felt like she was genuinely invested in making sure I had the best day ever. I was so pleased with the quality of the service and how seamlessly my day went. I cannot recommend this venue enough!

I HAD THE BEST WEDDING I COULD EVER IMAGINE!! Through all of the late night email and the payment extension Nancy was more than helpful and accommodating. The staff day of was so helpful and nice. The food was amazing and the space was beautiful!! I will recommend this venue to everyone! Thank you Nancy so much for all your help on our special day! We will never forget this day❤️

Our Perfect Wedding

My husband and I got married at the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront on 10/12/23 and everything about this place was phenomenal . The atmosphere is beautiful , the rooms are recently renovated , the food was ABSOLUTELY delicious and most of all Nancy was beyond amazing . For starters , my husband and I initially booked with another venue . It wasn’t until the end of July that we found this place and decided to book with them . With only a little over two months to do everything Nancy was wonderful the entire time . She was very responsive , professional , kind and supportive . The list can go on and on about her . She even upgraded our room for the two nights which we were very grateful for . We had an amazing time . We couldn’t think of having our wedding anywhere else . All of the previous reviews about this place and Nancy are 100% true . If you’re looking for a venue please book here . You won’t regret it

Amazing - You Won’t Regret It

Nancy was so professional, helpful, attentive, detail oriented and so much more! Any details we forgot she made sure we included. The staff at the hotel, valet, restaurant and catering were amazing! 3 weeks later my guests are still talking about the food at the event but specifically the; salmon, balsamic chicken, risotto and lemon cake.

Great Renovated Venue

If you are looking for an Oceanfront place to host your Virginia Beach wedding, you found it! I am a professional DJ and I work a few wedding events here as well as birthday parties every year and already have some lined up for next year. Before this year is over, I wanted to take the time and share with all review readers how grateful I am for the opportunity to be able to collaborate with such a great venue and the talented team that makes magic happen every time I am there. They communicate well with vendors, everything is always clean and looks amazing, and the layout options are awesome. They surely go above and beyond for their clients to have the best time ever. Outstanding

Nancy and the Sheraton staff were super friendly and accommodating even though there were multiple events going on concurrently. We had a room block reserved and brunch and it was delightful.

We planned our wedding in less than 2 months. And couldn't have done it without Nancy. She took care of all the details at the Sheraton with no hassle. And was a wonderful resource finding other wedding vendors. Including an amazing band! I would highly recommend Nancy.

McMoore Wedding

Wanted to take a moment to review the staff behind our wedding on September 17, 2022 @ the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel.

From the start, this was a well planned and well executed event. The event coordinator (don't know official title), Nancy Rosen was beyond spectacular. She help guide and assist through every detail. Not only did she knock it out of the park planning and executing, but during the event, she kept magically appearing at my side whenever I was looking something. Amazing timing.
The entire staff was equally as spectacular.

David Hooper, Banquet Manager, helped us sort through and select the food we wanted served. We especially enjoy the tasting beforehand where we got to sample from 6 equally tasty dishes to choose from. All of guests commented on how they loved the meal and the deserts.

Janelle, bartender, was friendly and engaging the entire event. I didn't know the bride and groom got "head of the line" privileges at the bar, but she made sure my wife and I were promptly served.

Jenny, Ben, and Patrice were truly wonderful throughout the entire event. They were polite, attentive, and more importantly, they help corral our 8 grandchildren (ages 3 - 11) during the ceremony, during dinner, and on the dance floor. Honestly, they could have easily passed for nannies with the care and attention they showed our grandchildren.

We are so thrilled with how every little detailed turned out.

One suggestion: Put a Venmo QR code for guest to scan and tip the bartender and setup/service staff. The staff did an outstanding job, but many of the guests did not have cash and were unable to leave a gratuity.

The venue price for my daughter's wedding was reasonable, the food and service were absolutely amazing which resulted in forever memories that will never be forgotten. The Sheraton was PERFECT for our wedding

Nancy (or Nance-pants as she became lovingly known) absolutely worked her butt off to make our wedding weekend absolute perfection. We had all of our over 120 guests at the Sheraton for the entire weekend, and Nancy made it all seem effortless. We spent countless hours on the phone getting things coordinated, and she was so wonderful and flexible with everything we wanted to do! I felt so so lucky to have Nancy and the whole Sheraton team as a true partner for our wedding - so much so that I now call her a friend! If you're looking for a wedding block in Virginia Beach - look no further. Truly and genuinely, we and our guests were so happy with the Sheraton! The Best Day Of Our Lives

Where do I begin? From our first initial meeting with Nancy to taking a walkthrough of the ballroom and ceremony space, to meeting the chef on our first visit, we were SOLD. Nancy's personality met my mom's personality instantly and I knew we were in good hands. Nancy is the absolute BEST!! Our wedding was an EPIC event, our family and friends had a blast, it was truly AMAZING. We are so grateful for Nancy's attentiveness, first class service, expertise and all around friendliness. Nancy was on top of everything, I mean everything. She took our day (weekend) and expectations under her wing and super exceeded our expectations. We spoke literally each month and as our wedding got closer, we were speaking/emailing daily. Nancy had everything in place, speaking and working with our vendors, hotel accommodations, ceremony and ballroom space. I'm telling you everything. Nancy has become a dear friend to our family through this great experience and we will definitely be back in the future. Best Day Ever!!!

Nancy helped Trevor and I from the beginning of our planning (we had three months to plan a whole wedding), to food tasting, to last minute changes, until the day of event -all the way to end of reception she was there for us. Our wedding was truly amazing thanks to Nancy’s professionalism and awesomeness- all plans were put into place, the food and drinks were amazing, and we felt like we are very well taken care of! Nothing short of amazing

We had to switch our venue a week before the wedding due to issues with our other venue. We frantically searched for a new venue and when we called the Sheraton Nancy was so helpful! She told us it was no problem at all to work it out. She threw the whole thing together in a week and the night was outstanding! We had a great time, the food was delicious, and the service was awesome! Nancy is seriously a wedding whisperer and I would absolutely recommend having your wedding here!

Nancy Rosen is AMAZING!

Met Nancy in 2018 as my now hubby and I toured four venues in VB, with the Sheraton being one of four. Nancy has always remained professional, responsive and kind. Even as we all encountered uncharted territories with COVID, her unwavering commitment to her brides (and grooms) remained. Celebrated my big day on July 24, 2021 (rescheduled from June 20, 2020), and everything was perfect!

Perfect wedding - Nancy is the best

This has been such a hard year to plan a receptions. Nancy stood by us every step of the way. She planned a beautiful, safe event. The entire team was professional. David, Jennie, and Lien were so helpful. Our bartenders, Victor and Chelsea, always had smiles. But again, most of all, we have to give kudos to Nancy Rosen. Her calmness and creativity in the midst of pandemic wedding season was amazing. Everyone from wedding party to guests to parents, raved about the venue and overall night. Beautiful venue but staff made it perfect.

Best day ever

We knew from the very minute we met Nancy Rosen, we wanted to have our wedding here. Nancy is so upbeat, fun, caring, and passionate about helping you have your wedding of your dreams. Even in the middle of a pandemic, Nancy was right there with us and in constant touch. Our day was absolutely magical and was everything we dreamed of. The food was superb and our guest were raving about it for days. The staff at the Sheraton were so helpful and very professional and knew how to make you feel special. Sheraton hit a home run!

Nancy R with the Sheraton took care of every detail, handled last minute governor mandates, helped us have a beautiful covid safe wedding - guests raved about the food, how pretty the setting was and how much fun it was. No detail was spared- the decor, lighting, food, servers, bartenders, everything was perfect! They even cleaned up and stored items til we came the next day! A perfect day!!

What Would We Have Done Without Nancy Rosen In Our Corner?

The 3rd time's the charm! And what would we have done to pull off the perfect wedding without Nancy Rosen? We researched every wedding venue option we could in the Hampton Roads area. In the end, we wanted to hold the ceremony and reception at the same venue and our daughter and her fiancé fell in love with holding it at a Virginia Beach oceanfront venue that would offer dining and entertainment options for out of town guests. The Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel provided a beautiful and cost-effective venue option. We planned for approximately 200 guests for the initial wedding date. After two postponements due to Covid, we reduced the number to 100+. Nancy and the sales staff were supportive and helpful as our plans evolved. The final layout of the ceremony ballroom, the cocktail area, and the dinner reception were perfect. We are still receiving compliments on the of food. Guests were amazed by the amount of food on their plates when they arrived, but they were truly blown away and enjoyed every bite of their yummy steak and chicken. Nancy’s experience as an independent wedding planner just adds to her depth of knowledge and innovative style. She helped us to plan a beautiful wedding for our daughter and her fiancé but allowed us to manage the costs. She was quick to answer questions and offer suggestions, all with my daughter and her fiancé’s vision in mind. She has worked with pretty much all the vendors in the area, so she was helpful in the selection process as the bride shared her vision for each one. Her insights on how to accomplish the perfect look and feel of the event to make it a special day without the overspending is a gift. We all celebrated Katie & Anthony’s marriage and a special day they will never forget. Thank you, Nancy!

Nancy is excellent and accommodating! I've worked with her on corporate events of over 200 people and also with her on my daughter's rehearsal dinner, which was for 18 people due to COVID restrictions. Amazing!

WOW! I don’t even know where to begin, we were originally supposed to be married May 9, 2020 but had to postpone because of Covid. Our new date was August 29, 2020.

From day one back in 2019, Nancy Rosen made sure we had everything we needed from a detailed spreadsheet of prices, food choices, set up, etc. Nancy worked with us to make our dream come true! Having to postpone our original date left us very upset and worried, but Nancy & Amanda made sure everything was ready to go for our new date. Nancy is absolutely amazing, she was always happy, energetic, positive no matter what the situation and made this experience unforgettable. Nancy answered all of my MANY emails always timely and happy to help.

The Sheraton exceeded all of my expectations, and our wedding was a night we will never forget.

Superb wedding reception

Nancy Rosen and her staff went above and beyond what we expected for our wedding resception. The arrangement of tables, the dance floor, and the hors d'oeuvers were all perfect. The food was cooked and served to perfection. No detail was left to chance. We will recommend Nancy Rosen and the Sheraton staff to all of our friends.

It’s All About The Wedding Coordinator

Any venue on the beach is going to be beautiful, and we looked at quite a few, but what really struck us the most was our wedding coordinator, Nancy Rosen. Her warm and sweet personality is what sealed the deal for us because we immediately felt like we were in good hands, and we knew she was going to take care of us and help us through the planning process. She was so attentive to our needs, responsive, helpful in so many ways, and she and I communicated so much through this process that she wasn’t just our coordinator, she became our friend and part of our family. My family loved Nancy, and she made such an impression with all of us. On our wedding day, everything went flawlessly, and it was because Nancy and her team of people were working behind the scenes making sure everything was perfect. Because of the relationship we established with her, we will most definitely be back once a year to see our friend Nancy, and to stay at the Sheraton to remember our perfect day. The entire staff at the Sheraton, from the front desk staff to the people that helped setup our wedding, was so incredibly helpful, patient, and kind and I am so grateful to them all for making our day the most amazing day of our lives.

Hurricane Wedding!

I cannot express enough how great the Sheraton was hosting our guests for our wedding! A year of planning and a hurricane was expected that weekend! Nancy was so helpful, even though the Sheraton was booked, she found a way to fit us in the hotel restaurant if needed. The weather ended up being beautiful, but the way the hotel helped ease our minds along the way makes it feel like a home away from home!

If you want a beautiful, stress free wedding and amazing food... book your wedding at the Sheraton

Nancy helped a lot, as well as the wedding coordination team to make a stress free, beautiful wedding. The food was AMAZING. It was extremely affordable for a wedding, if you’re worried about budget. We were worried we would never be able to afford the wedding of our dreams and the Sheraton made it perfect! I would recommend this venue to everyone. We had about 50 guests and we had the room with an ocean view for the ceremony and reception. It was gorgeous.

Amazing place to hold a reception for a wedding.

Everything turned out amazing. The views for the reception is right on the beach. The Wedding specialist Nancy Rosen was a huge help to us for planning every little detail to our perfect day. The chefs did a fantastic job with all of our Hors d’oeuvres, 3 different entrees, ice cream sundae & cookie bar, & post reception munches. The best part is free valet parking for all wedding attendees, which was helpful since the wedding was the day after 4th of July. Just a wonderful experience overall. No complaints.

The total package!!!

We had our wedding at the Sheraton this moneybags and it was everything we’d hoped for plus more! Nancy was a joy to work with and always had quick reply’s with questions or concerns. Our experience at the Sheraton Virginia Beach was awesome. My fiance and I looked at different venues in Va beach, the Sheraton offered the best value for an affordable price comparing to others. We were already sold by the view in the Ocean Grand Foyer. Miss Nacy was extremely helpful with her knowledge in local vendors and her extended work experience with weddings. We took her advice on our wedding cake and we couldn't be more grateful. She was very valuable since we are not local from VA beach. Food at the Sheraton was exquisite!!! Every guest complimented our plated dinner, not only they were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions they went above and beyond with the Hors-d'oeuvres. Miss Nancy and the Sheraton made the wedding decoration so easy, they will include centerpieces, linens, candles, napkins, and much more, it was so convenient, especially if you are coming out of town! The hotel offers many amenities to keep guest busy and entertained, rooms are clean and they have a professional staff always available. Look no further guys you will not regret having your wedding at the Sheraton!

Beautiful Oceanfront Venue

I got married at the Sheraton on November 11th 2018. From the day that we came to look at the venue, Nancy Rosen, made us feel completely at home. We planned out a long-distance wedding and she made it feel all so easy! Out of the 10 venues we looked at while in VA beach, this was the only one we felt comfortable with! Nancy was always available or gave us a call back in a timely manner. The view from the gala is beautiful, i loved being able to see the ocean during my ceremony. Food was phenomenal - we customized one our our entree's and it was perfectly made. Staff was great! Thank you so much to the team at the Sheraton!

Superb Value for A Beautiful Venue

The Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel was everything I could have hoped for in a venue for our wedding. So much bang for your buck. In the months of planning before the wedding, Nancy and her team ensured all the details were in order and always followed up on details I had forgotten about. They were open minded and flexible when listening to my requests to make our wedding more “us” and personal. We were very pleased with how helpful and friendly all the hotel staff were that weekend, they all made sure we were taken care of and went above and beyond. I never once thought about the timeline of the day, Nancy was there making sure everything was going as planned. And it did! Right before the ceremony I went to get my vail and got separated from the bridal party and one of the front desk associates took me to a route to get to the ceremony space unseen. They all truly went above and beyond. We were very well taken care of.

All our guests had a great time, making a weekend out of the event staying in the oceanfront hotel rooms. It was so nice to have everyone we loved in one place all weekend, it ensured we had time to truly talk and visit with everyone. The beds were soft, the rooms spacious and clean. Plus, an oceanfront room can’t be beat. Since it was October, out of peak season, the beach was almost clear of tourists, creating a more relaxing and peaceful time at the beach. Everything being in one place was SO convenient AND saved money. My husband and I both rented a large suite to get ready in, these were perfect. Large enough for my eight bridesmaids, the hair and make-up crew, and friends stopping in.

The space where we held the ceremony, the Grand Ocean Foyer, was stunning. Guests faced the large ocean view windows and sat in long angled rows. It was a unique ceremony space, reflecting the uniqueness we were looking to have at our ceremony and wedding.   We rented another ballroom for the cocktail hour and guest enjoyed themselves while we finished up taking pictures. Our bridal party went downstairs to the Fusion Restaurant, a visually pleasing space with a private section in the back to enjoy cocktail hour. It was a great time to relax after the nerves of the day and be with close friends before the reception. We rented the Grand Ocean Ballroom to host the reception. It was a blank canvas for us, and Nancy and her team allowed us to make it our own. They allowed me to hang an installation from the ceiling. We chose to use the hotel group for catering, and it was the best decision we could have made. The food was so good. A majority of our guests came to us after the weekend, telling us how much they loved the food and had never had “wedding food” like that. We had access to glass centerpiece vases for flowers and saved so much money using theses. The hotel also provided the table cloths and chair covers, saving us money on the rentals. They set up the ballroom and broke it down. We did not have to even think about these things. It was wonderful. We were able to have the wedding of our dreams for so much less.

Couldn't be a better fit!

Nancy was wonderful to work with. She listened to what was important to us and worked with us to make it a win-win for both sides. We had majority of our guests traveling from out of state and wanted a venue that could have affordable rooms for the guests and a ceremony and reception space. We wanted it to be easy and convenient for our guests so they didn't have to find their way around a town they weren't familiar with. I HIGHLY recommend this venue!

Strongly Recommend this Hotel for your Wedding and guests

I strongly recommend the Sheraton Hotel in Virginia Beach as a destination location for your wedding party and guests. I had the pleasure to work with Nancy Rosen, in event planning who made our weekend special. Here is a copy of the note I sent to their organization to recognize their incredible contribution to a fabulous wedding weekend.

"I wanted to take a few minutes to recognize the associates of the hotel for making both our stay and events so fabulous. The Friday night event and drinks at the Fusion bar far exceeded our expectations. I may not have all the right names but I'll try. Rose, Arlene, Jessica, Rahal and several other members of your team went above and beyond to make the party a fantastic success. I am sure Jaime's friends will be talking about the dessert bar and the fabulous drinks Rose made us for a long time. Definitely a highlight of the weekend.

The Sunday morning buffet was executed flawlessly by Rahal, Arlene, Monica, and I think Jenny. They buffet was set up early and ready to go before the first guest arrived. The guests had attentive, friendly, and fast service for anything they needed. The buffet was always full and looked inviting. Kudo's to your managment for hiring great staff and the kitchen on their precise execution and attention to detail. The centerpieces, the table settings, and the view from Ocean banquet room created an amazing atmosphere and lasting memory.

Kenyana in group bookings, working along with Nancy, did all they could do to make sure our stay was top notch. Nancy was especially helpful in planning, coordinating, and advising us on how best to keep our guests satisfied during their stay and at each event. She made a significant impact on our wedding celebration even thought the wedding was at another hotel. The Sheraton was the hotel of choice for 90% of our guests, Nancy made their experience at the Sheraton the best it could be. I cannot express how much we appreciate her help and advice. Every recommendation you made was spot on

Ben, Kenyana, and Courtney were very helpful at the desk in solving a few logistical issues at check in. Everything was taken care of with true professionalism and showed how much they care about the experience of your guests and the hotels strong reputation..

Calls to guest services, like extra towels were taken care of immediately.

The excellence of your staff and the care they showed us each and every time we asked a question or needed something was fantastic. It is their actions that would allow me to strongly recommend your hotel to others and of course make it my destination of choice anytime I visit Virginia Beach.

After looking at several other hotels for our out of town wedding guests, we found that the Sheraton provided the best value, location, and views. Our guests loved staying there and several liked it so much, they extended their stay.

Nancy was great to work with! She gave us the impression that she really cared and wanted our event to go off without a hitch! The food was delicious, the staff at the reception were very accommodating and the venue was gorgeous. We also held a brunch the morning after in the foyer, and we loved it! We compared a few other places, that were comparable location-wise and service-wise and for what we could get for the price at the Sheraton, it was a no-brainer. We're so glad we chose Nancy and The Sheraton! My only caution is that the surcharges (taxes, fees, etc.) start to add up and we were a little caught off guard with them in the end.

This was the best experience we had. Even though our wedding didn't go according to plan with the weather, Nancy was able to accommodate us indoors with a beautiful view! We really felt that she genuinely cared about our wants and ideal wedding vision. She checked in on us and our guests several times even on the day of and also accommodated when we had a few bump come up with planning. We will gladly refer our friends and family to use the Sheraton for their happy day!

Thank you to Nancy Rosen and the Sheraton for an absolutely amazing wedding reception. Nancy worked within our budget, provided outstanding communication throughout the six month process, and made several suggestions to make sure our reception would be perfect. Nancy was onsite the afternoon before our reception and also checked in several times throughout the evening to make sure everything was as expected. 5 star service all the way--great servers, fun bartender, absolutely delicious food--really, we could not have asked for anything more. Nancy is a true gem and we are both sooooooo incredibly happy we chose the Sheraton for our reception venue!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience celebrating our wedding ceremony at the Sheraton Oceanfront in August 2017. Nancy was excellent coordinanting the details, setting the tables, the food was exquisite and the view from the ceremony room facing the ocean is a memory for a lifetime. Sheraton and Nancy Rosen highly recommended.

Our wedding went off without a hitch. Loved the location, the food, and the staff. They are so easy to work with. Nancy helped make the details as low stress as possible. I could not recommend them enough. Absolutely wonderful!

Nancy, the event coordinator, is awesome. Through all of my relentless emails, sometimes multiple times throughout the day, she was there every step of the way to help ease my mind. The location is beautiful and perfect for a May wedding, as we did not have to worry about the unpredictable weather but had the flexibility to be outside if possible for all of our guests. We are still hearing from our guests about how perfect everything was and what a great time they had with the location!

The Sheraton was amazing. The staff made sure that the entire wedding was perfect. Nancy and Charalese are the stars of the vendor. They can made anything happen and were even there to listen my bridal rants!!!!

I was a frantic bride to be when I walked into the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel. In Dec 2016, the decision to get married in March 2017 was easy because we were going to the justice of the peace. That changed in Feb. All of a sudden we had a long list of people coming to see us get married and we decided it was best to do an actual ceremony/reception. I had went to numerous vendors and no one was willing to work with me and my 30 day window. I came to the Sheraton without an appointment. But I was giving the best welcome. I dont remember the young lady's name but she provided me with all the info needed and I immediately felt a sense of relief that I was close to securing a vendor. When I met with Nancy Rosen, she was absolutely phenomenal. She treated me and my friends as if we had known each other for years. She kept me in the loop of all the details. She was present the day of the wedding and assisted with making sure the event was a success. Everyone at the Sheraton was amazing. The staff assisted with everything and they knew my name when I would come visit. The chef was great. Everyone is still talking about how good the food was. The price was well within my budget. All my pictures came out so beautiful thanks to the location. We had our wedding in the grand foyer with the beautiful windows. I'm still speechless at how beautifully everything came out. I can't thank the Sheraton and their staff enough. I highly recommend! 5 stars just for the experience.

My husband and I recently got married, and the Sheraton was the perfect venue for our ceremony and reception! The ceremony space on the second floor has a breathtaking view of the oceanfront that allowed us to have a beautiful ceremony as well as gorgeous first look and bridal party photos. The cocktail and reception spaces were lovely as well and more than large enough to accommodate our close to 200 guests. Our guests had nothing but kind words to say about the food, drinks, and entire hotel staff.

We absolutely loved working with Nancy and her staff. She went above and beyond to help us plan every step of the way. She took meticulous notes throughout the process to make sure every detail was accounted for the day of the wedding. It is more than apparent that she truly enjoys her work due to the enthusiasm and dedication she consistently had while working with us. The Sheraton's quality of service, professionalism, and accommodations exceeded our expectations and we truly cannot thank Nancy and the Sheraton staff enough for making our day so special!

Every member of this venue were fantastic. My wedding was beautiful. I had individuals at every turn helping the night to be an absolute success. Nancy and Joslyn are just great people and they did everything within their power to make my night as special as it could have been. I received compliment on top of compliment for everything from those in attendance and their were over 170 people who enjoyed the evening with us. I would suggest this venue to anyone as the view is unsurpassable (be careful with lighting for the ceremony for your photographers as this could prove to be an issue if they are not prepared). The food was absolutely fantastic and the flow of the evening was perfect. This is a high-end hotel so you will be paying a premium but the rooms were wonderful. I cannot say enough about the location and the people who helped turn this into a spectacular evening for everyone!

Love the people and would very HIGHLY recommend to anyone who wants top-notch customer service!

We looked at many places for my daughter's wedding before visiting Sheraton Oceanfront. From the moment we sat down with Nancy, we knew this was the place we will be having our event. Nancy is the ultimate professional. There is nothing that I can write that will adequately describe Nancy. She is a very nice, kind, knowledgeable, detail oriented and funny person who loves her job. Nancy will devote 100% attention to you whether you are talking to her on the phone or in her office. Nancy has infinite patience and will listen to you for hours even when you don't know what you are talking about. Nancy will call to talk and make sure everything is going well or to let you know of something interesting she saw that you may want to consider or just to say hi. She has a very calming effect on people and keeps reassuring you that everything will work out well. She made the planning process a lot more easier for us because she was always there for us. On the day of the wedding, she was awesome, every single detail was carried out as planned and the bride and all the bridesmaids fell in love with her and couldn't say enough good things about her. Thank you Nancy, you were God sent.

Sheraton Ocean front is a fantastic place to hold any event. The view is breathtaking, the halls are so spacious and nice and the hotel staff are so professional. From the moment you walk into the hotel, the entire staff try to make you feel at home. Our special thanks to the chef and the kitchen staff, the front desk, Nancy's assistants, event manager, valet team, the bar tenders, housekeepers and all the entire hotel staff. Everyone did a fantastic job, our guests were very impressed and we really had fun. I will definitely recommend Sheraton Ocean to anyone looking for an event space, you will love it, and I would definitely use them again in the future. Thanks Sheraton and thanks Nancy.

You will not find a more beautiful beachfront location in the area for your wedding/reception than the Sheraton to take advantage of the incredible oceanfront views.(Believe me, we looked). On top of that, Nancy is a real pro, and had been a wedding planner for years before she took the position here so you are in good hands., She is an absolute joy to work with and her wisdom, professionalism, and true desire to assist you in having the wedding of your dreams come to life is off the charts. All the staff was very helpful and friendly the day of. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We had our daughter's wedding and reception at the Sheraton & it was a magical day! The food was wonderful, the service was perfect & our coordinator there, Nancy, was amazing! Nancy Rosen and the staff at the Sheraton were absolutely the best and made our wedding weekend special.
The rooms: Each room was extremely spacious, clean, and perfectly accommodated the needs for all our guests.
Staff: From the expeditious valet service to the friendly faces at the front desk and pool bar, the level of service you will experience at the Sheraton is top-tier. The valet and bell service staff helped us with carrying flowers, food, drinks, and pretty much anything that would help us relax for a few minutes. Despite being the hottest day of the year, the valet team made sure that our cars would all arrive at the same time. They knew people were not familiar with the area, and wanted to make sure that no one was left behind.

Front Desk: The front desk at the Sheraton are the friendliest, funniest, and the most professional group of people we’ve encountered in a really long time. For example, when our wedding transportation services failed to show up, Jada (forgot her last name), was able to coordinate with One Transportation cab company to ensure that the entire bridal party would be transported. Jada was able to help us avoid a major wedding logistics disaster and she did with such poise and a friendly face.

Nancy Rosen: Nancy is one of those people that you can’t help to hug every time you see her. She has one of those personalities that leave you feeling calm and well taken care of. When you have so many simultaneous activities ongoing, having Nancy oversee all the Sheraton requirements made our lives a whole lot easier. Her coordination with the Brunch made the morning as special as the actual wedding. The beach view from the 2nd floor really is nothing short of stylish and classy. She even made sure that our guests with dietary restrictions were taken care of and had sufficient options. Nancy was always quick to respond to any questions or special requests, and without her help, our wedding would have not been successful.

The Sheraton was the PERFECT place to hold my wedding! My now husband and I both love the beach so we knew that we wanted to be near the water but I didn't want to be outside. The giant windows that overlooked the beach during our ceremony was the perfect compromise. We still got the views without all the wind and heat. And we were right there to be able to take awesome pictures with my bridal party. The reception was amazing as well. I got so many compliments on how good the food was, which we all know can be hit or miss (mostly miss) at weddings. The wait staff was so attentive as well. They made sure that my husband and I always had what we needed at all times and were so pleasant every time. At one point I saw one of the bartenders dancing along to the music which i loved! Nancy was great to work with as well! She made us feel at ease from our first meeting and made our process so much easier. If you want a venue that has a great location with great views, good food, good atmosphere and great service this is your place! And lets be honest who doesn't want all this?? Do yourself a favor and call Nancy to set up a consult!

I can honestly say that virginia weddings by primo events is Simply the Best!!! My daughter recently got married this May 2014 and everyone continues to compliment me on what an amazing wedding she had. The sheraton looks gorgeous with the new reno and food was terrific.

I knew because of my busy work schedule that I would need help as the Sheraton does not include weddings on the beach and any vendors in their catering packages . Like any concerned mother of the bride I did some research on the Knot and came across virginia weddings and they responded quickly to all my phone calls and emails, What sets them apart from other people is that they are extremely organized, have a great network of vendors, competitively priced,

Over the past several months my daughter and I were working with with Ron Form and his vendirs. We valued their opinions and knew we can easily call on them. Since day 1 they were extremely supportive, always listened and never tried to "take over" or go a different direction. Our photographer, Shawn Femia took the most incredible photos and was a darling to work with. we love her! Joan and Michele at the event rentals place did a wonderful job setting up the hoopah and decorated the chairs for our ceremony on the beach. Mr. Mcgee the marriage officiant made the ceremony so much fun. "you may kiss yooor bride" love this ending.
Thanks to all these wonderful people who exceeded every expectation flawlessly.

The Sheraton is a beautiful hotel with a gorgeous view of the VA Beach oceanfront in the foyer where my wedding was held. Nancy Rosen, the coordinator for the hotel is fantastic! The entire staff was fabulous!
It was such a pleasure working with Bernadette M. Smith and Nancy Rosen. They helped make all my daughter's dreams come true. We had a destination wedding and they made everything run smoothly so we did not have to worry about a thing.
We felt it was a very elegant wedding and the food and service were fantastic. We very much enjoyed our week at the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel.
We all plan on going back for a stay at the one year anniversary!!

I had the pleasure of working with Bernadette Smith who was representing The Sheraton. She was truly amazing and very good at her job. She was always in constant contact was always free to set up a meeting with me so we could talk details. My wedding was impeccable. The chef served us entrees that were to die for! The cocktails were delicious. The reception room was perfect for our guests and fit our budget. It really was the ceremony room that sold me. It took my breathe away. I looked at venues in Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Virginia beach and I never saw a venue with such a beautiful ceremony area.

-Food was delicious!
-Reception room was beautiful!
-Ceremony area is what sold me!
-Book them if you want a Beautiful wedding!

The Sheraton at Va Beach Oceanfront was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding! The staff was so attentive to our needs, as well as the needs of our guests. They worked well with all of my vendors to provide us a memorable day.The food was amazing. Thanks to everyone who helped make our day perfect, esp Duane, Rita, and Dave.

I had my own vision for the wedding. Had unique requests for food and beverage, brought in a bunch of DIY items and was worried if my vision would be able to be explained (I am no party planner :) ). Nancy, Rohan, Monica, and the entire staff listened to me and my now-husband from the start and put together the most beautiful venue we could have imagined! Our guests raved about the wonderful food, set up, and service. We only wish we took to-go boxes for after the wedding! ;)

We absolutely LOVED this venue for our wedding!!! We both love the beach, and really wanted a waterfront view. The view from the windows are simply gorgeous! The ballroom was roomy and had a great atmosphere. Nancy was super helpful and amazing!

Our Happy Guests Loved their Sheraton Stay!

All of our wedding party guests were extremely happy with their Sheraton stay. The hotel is so beautiful and new inside. The food is great and the Mellow Mushroom nextdoor was perfect. Only one of our guests had an issue and because of this discomfort the hotel comped her entire stay.

Personable and well planned

Nancy was a wonderful host for my daughter’s wedding reception. She was warm and personable and was willing to work with our budget. Organized and well planned, the event was beautiful and fun. The food is fantastic! Three cheers for the chef. Thank you, Nancy, for a wonderful memory.

We were married at the Sheraton on July 15 and the day was truly everything I dreamed it to be. Nancy made the whole wedding process much easier with her suggestions, attention to detail, and her personality! I loved working with Nancy, and when the day finally came our guests were blown away by the ceremony and reception space, and by the food! The wedding package (and view on the second floor) was the main reason we chose to go with the Sheraton - the Sheraton includes so much in their packages that we thought they were the best choice and "bang for our buck". My only suggestion would be to please have the kitchen staff box up the bride and groom's meals if they don't get a chance to eat. I was too busy to eat so I never got to enjoy my meal, but everyone else loved the food, especially the late night soft pretzels! Thank you, Nancy, for being one of my favorite vendors to work with during my wedding planning process!

The Sheraton is the only ocean-view venue in Virginia Beach that can accommodate more than 200 guests from what we were able to find. We worked with Nancy Rosen, who is absolutely incredible, and she went above and beyond to make our wedding a successful event. She is exceptionally friendly, professional, and patient, and she made sure that all of the details for our event were taken care of after we had a number of issues with the previous person in her position. I would strongly recommend to anyone thinking about having their event at the Sheraton to work directly with Nancy. The supporting staff for the event were organized and efficient, and made sure that the event went smoothly. Overall, I would recommend the Sheraton for having one's wedding or social event.

Last Minute Savior

When our original wedding venue cancelled on us 5 months before our wedding date during the busiest wedding season ever, I thought we were toast. Nancy and the Sheraton really helped us with the last minute changes. The views are pretty, the food is great, and I think the new renovations are going to make future weddings even better.

We held our daughter's wedding at the Sheraton VB and it was wonderful thanks to Primo Events and Mr. Ron Form. We live in Dallas and vacationed in Virginia Beach last year for the first time. My daughter really wanted to get married on the beach and had no knowledge of the area. We found Primo Events who basically has a slew of venues and vendors and help folks with their wedding. Ron Form found us the venue and provided amazing vendors. He coordinated a beautiful beach ceremony and our wedding pictures came out amazing. Shawn Femia was our photographer and she is extremely creative and alot of fun. The wedding was so much easier as Primo took care of all the details and the level of service and the and well worth the cost. The food at the sheraton was superb...honestly can't say enough about our fabulous experience. Thanks to Primo Events and the Sheraton hotel.

The Sheraton is a great place for a wedding!

We loved having our wedding at the Sheraton! The staff was very professional and courteous. The venue is gorgeous and the wedding package was a steal for an oceanfront wedding. Nancy was great to work with, responded promptly to our questions, and made sure every detail was perfect!

When it came to our wedding this summer, we knew we wanted a beach wedding but could be covered if it decided to rain. We also knew we had to lock in a venue fast since we planned the whole thing in 6 months. The Sheraton was our solution. The beach view ended up being perfect because it gave the feel we wanted, allowed everyone to be heard unlike if we did it outside, and kept guests from sweating like crazy from the heat. The staff proved to be accommodating and helpful in making correct changes even on the day of. We need to give a big thank you to the bell hop service. They busted their butts helping us get unloaded and to all of our rooms. To give an idea, we had about 50 in total at our wedding and had more than enough space in the smaller conference rooms for the reception. It felt intimate but roomy at the same time which was key since we had one guest in a wheelchair. Also, it was a smooth day once we got to the ceremony since we planned on setting up and decorating with our own team. We recommend this venue for any couple looking at a minimum budget of $10000 for their wedding. The Sheraton covers your venue, food, and beverages.

Nancy was wonderful to work with. The venue was beautiful, we loved the cocktail space with the windows overlooking the beach. We had to stay on top of their rooms controller as our guests were receiving conflicting information on room availability, but it all worked out in the end. We had the best day!

The venue was beautiful! When I was in the process of planning my wedding, the catering manager was very responsive and friendly. The day of my wedding, she kept telling me that I needed to rush through pictures with my bridal party, because my guests were getting bored and restless (we were gone for 15 minutes). The food was excellent, but the room was hot and a few of my guests said there was on odor. I understood that there was a night wedding, but she made me feel like I had to rush everything and I was not able to enjoy taking in my wedding because we had to keep things moving.

I am so sorry you felt this way, we were just following the timeline that was mutually agreed upon. The DJ was ready to announce the cake cutting and we waited almost 30 minutes, the planner was looking for you. It was fine with us, we just didn't know you had left. You were contracted through to the end of your reception and to my knowledge were not told you had to leave early? You looked amazing and your guests seemed to be having a fantastic time. Again, sorry that you felt this way.
