Shelly was the best wedding photographer any couple could ask for! She had such a calming presence with us both, while also ensuring all the photos we wanted were captured throughout the day. She was extremely professional during the entire process from initial meeting all the way to the final gallery. Her turn around time was incredibly fast, we had friends who were married months before us that still didn't have their photos by the time we did. My family and friends still talk about how good of a job she did every time they see us. Highly recommend for any and all couples, we will definitely be calling her again for future family photos :) -

Shelly is amazing. She made us feel comfortable from the time we met at our consultation throughout the entire wedding planning process, and wedding itself. Shelly was extremely helpful and worked with me knowing that I couldn't meet due to my crazy work schedule and instead scheduled phone calls with me to answer my questions and keep me organized. Shelly felt like a longtime friend since the beginning. Her and her team are amazing. Our pictures are absolutely stunning as well. One of my favorite memories of our wedding day was working with Shelly and her team. We had so much fun. I can't thank you all enough. Xoxoxo. -

Engagement and Wedding Photos
Shelly was absolutely amazing from the minute we inquired with her through our wedding! Shelly provided us with so much information and put all of our worries at ease. Not only was she an incredible photographer, she assisted us with our whole wedding experience from providing us with vendor recommendations to assisting with creating our timeline for the wedding day. Shelly has an incredible personality and knows how to make you laugh to get those amazing candid pictures. Shelly truly listens to what you want in your pictures and captures just that. I have received nothing but compliments on our pictures and I will cherish them forever! I am so happy we chose Shelly as our photographer and I would HIGHLY recommend that you do as well :)! She is amazing! -

My fiancé coordinated the whole experience as a surprise, and I cherish the photos we received from Shelly. She did a wonderful job coordinating the timing, location, and details of the proposal with my fiancé. We received the photos very quickly, and they turned out beautifully. Thank you, Shelly! -

Kirsten Sent on 02/02/2018I am someone who takes lots of photos, but never prints or does anything with them. Knowing the person that I am, I was having a hard time buying into the "You must invest in a good photographer" or the "photos will be your only memories after the day is over". Well you guys as much as I hate to admit it, it's true. When I first met with Shelly three things popped into my head- She really listened to what I wanted, her passion comes through in her work, and I wanted to be her friend. I knew I could trust her to capture not only the day’s events, but the love Matt and I have for one another and this great city. Our pictures are filled with head tilts, smirks, skyscrapers, and moments I will never forget because Shelly captured them. I can honestly say I am able to relive the day thanks to Shelly, and the emotions I feel with every flip of our pictures can attest to that. So, yes I’d recommend anyone to work with Shelly. Invest in her because she will invest in you tenfold. She will take your 9pm phone call 3 days before your wedding because you are freaking out about your first look location, or help you plan your engagement route to ensure that she captures your two greatest loves (Chicago & your future husband) because she took the time to listen to how important it was to you. There is a lot of talent out there, but trust me when I say on this special day you want a photographer who will be there just for you. Someone who is just as anxious and excited as you are to be married. You want someone like Shelly.
