I am the mother of the bride and I want to happily tell you how wonderful Shelby was to work with. We used her Month of planner package, but she is more than generous with her time. We had several organizing calls prior to the month of the wedding. She really listens to the bride and groom about what is important to them for the timeline and vibe of the wedding. She kept us on track vendors and working on timeline. But she truly shines at the actual event. She always made everyone feel calm and prepared. I felt like she remembered every detail and had everything at her fingertips that we needed throughout the event. She has the perfect touch for making the decor look just the way you hoped it would look..just magical. But as the mother of the bride, my favorite thing she did was packing up all the candles, decor etc. The last thing you want to do after celebrating all night is clean up and when I saw how perfectly packed up everything was, I wanted to cry tears of joy. Shelby is so likable and so good at what she does, she feels like a best friend. She has incredible attention to detail like catching wrong dates on vendor contracts. I always felt like she was one step ahead of our needs. For example, just when I thought about preparing for my daughter's grand exit, Shelby was waiting there with all the bagged rose petals already. She is also really thoughtful and took pictures and video of special moments and shared them with us immediately after the wedding. She is absolutely one of the best decisions you can make! Book Shelby today!!! -

BOOK SHELBY, you won't regret it!
Shelby is the person you want in charge of your wedding day!! From the second we booked her services, she was nothing short of helpful and sweet while navigating the wedding planning process. Her organization is NEXT LEVEL, the google document she created was top tier, and the communication between her and us, and her and our vendors was incredible. Our wedding day was a dream and Shelby played such a huge role in making that happen. She was on top of everything, from being a problem solver to a decision maker and everything in between! I truly cannot recommend her enough if you are a bride to be! 10000/10 book with Shelby!! -

Shelby is a wonderful coordinator and any couple would be lucky to work with her! I am so glad I stumbled upon her services back in November of 2022- a year out from our November 2023 wedding! We booked her for month-of coordination but our conversations began quite a while before that month mark.
I am a firm believer that a day-of coordinator is absolutely worth it- even if the venue comes with an on-site coordinator (which ours did and she was lovely too!) but I'd hire Shelby again a thousand times over. Don't ask your friends or family to handle those day-of logistics and do yourself a favor and do not do it yourself! The event is so, so worth professional support! We were able to be fully present all morning and evening. We didn't need to worry about the arrival of vendors, setting up tables, or cleaning any of it up!
Shelby is communicative, and thoughtful, and works to educate her couples throughout the process. She gave us great advice and tips and made the months, weeks, and days leading up to the event stress-free. I am a control freak through and through- and I am so, so glad we worked with Shelby! I'd recommend her to anyone who will listen. -

Where to begin?! We hired Shelby as our full-time wedding planner (1.5 year-long wedding planning process). Her communication, organization, and professionalism were unmatched. She always responded to every text/email in a timely manner, helped us make hard decisions, and her organizational skills were out of this world! I showed off her detailed document tracking everything wedding-related to everyone I know. Not only did she execute the wedding of my dreams, but because of her, I was able to sit back and relax on my actual wedding day. If I have any advice to any new bride, hire Shelby to be your wedding planner! -

If you need a coordinator/planner, hire Shelby right now! She helped us in so many ways throughout our wedding planning process and went above and beyond her month of coordinator duties. She was so attentive to details and helped us stay on track leading up to and throughout our wedding weekend. She kept us informed on our wedding day, but also handled any last minute details so we could be present and enjoy our day. She was very responsive and answered every question we had. I completely trusted her and knew she had the experience and talent to help us pull off our dream wedding after our first phone call. She truly became a friend throughout the process and I am so grateful we found her! -

Working with Shelby Lynn Events was hands down one of the BEST decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. Shelby is exactly what you hope to find in a wedding planner/coordinator. She is incredibly skilled at what she does, but just as important for what we were looking for, she is also kind, communicative, and takes the time to really listen to what her couples need/want out of their big day. She never made us feel silly for not knowing how any of this wild wedding industry worked which I greatly appreciated and she always had great recommendations on how to bring our vision to life! She is absolutely who you want standing in your corner for any unexpected situation a wedding may throw your way (in our case a hurricane!) and if you are looking for a planner or coordinator for your big day we can't recommend her services enough. -

Shelby was such a joy to work with. She is very organized, communicative, and made the wedding planning experience smooth AND enjoyable! She was always calm even if things got hectic and really helped not only me, but my mom be calm through the process. Her communication is clear and she was always the first to reach out when she or a vendor had a question that needed to be addressed. On our wedding day, she was really just part of the family in the best way. I highly recommend having Shelby to work with for all your planning and coordination needs! -

Shelby is a pro, period. Shelby is so down-to-earth, friendly, always professional, responsive, and organized. I was grateful that someone else recommended her to me because I am a true procrastinator - yes, even for my own wedding. I booked with Shelby about 9 or 10 months in advance of our wedding, and we worked in the first couple of months to secure our most important vendors. She had a very comprehensive shared document that we went over in every call. She recommended some of our other vendors (who were also wonderful), she reminded us about deadlines for final details, she set up calls with our vendors at intervals where they were needed, and she made sure all payments due were on our radar in advance. On our wedding day, I couldn't even tell you all the things she took care of because she just... took care of them. She enabled everything to go off without a hitch and I couldn't be more grateful that I decided to go with Shelby. -

We found Shelby through extensive Knot and Facebook vendor research, and are SO glad we did. Shelby went above and beyond in our six months working together. She was prompt to check-in, even when we didn't have scheduled meeting times, and was always available when we had questions or needed support! I can't imagine our wedding day going as smoothly as it did without her! From timelines, runthroughs, planning, setting up arch decor, gathering heards of people together, and helping with our day of errands - Shelby was so kind, professional, and helpful. We loved working with her, and love her personality! I'm so grateful that we not only made a wonderful vendor connection but also, a friend. Thank you for everything, Shelby! You're amazing and so good at your job. Congrats on 3 years of this beautiful business you're growing business! -

Originally, I tried to plan my wedding by myself but after a number of issues with my venue my mom convinced me to hire a coordinator. The moment I brought Shelby on board things started falling into place. She knew the questions to ask that I hadn't even thought of. She helped straighten out the issues I was having with my venue and went to bat for me multiple times to get the services we had paid for from our vendors. If you want somebody who will be in your corner every step of the way, then hire Shelby. She was always so quick to respond to every email, text, phone call. She went above and beyond her duties to make sure everything was how we wanted it. Our wedding day was an absolute dream and Shelby and her team handled everything flawlessly! Not to mention Shelby was also my florist and brought my romantic/timeless vibe to life. I would not have been able to have the wedding of my dreams if it wasn't for Shelby! -

Shelby was simply amazing! She was so attentive and listened to every little detail. She made each of my ideas come to life on our wedding day. When I got overwhelmed, she was right there asking how she could step in to help. She kept me on track with vendors, making decisions, and always full of helpful suggestions. Shelby Lynn Events was phenomenal! Shelby is compassionate, hard working, extremely talented and creative. Look nowhere else when searching for your wedding coordinator because Shelby has everything you’ll need! I couldn’t imagine our wedding without her. She’s organized and made my wedding day the best day of my life. I didn’t have to worry because she handled everything perfectly and professionally.

Shelby is who you need to make your day as special as possible! She assisted us with our wedding planning, and day-of coordination. She was very organized and on top of it all! Not only did she execute the details and schedule to perfection, she arranged our flowers, helped with the food arrangement, and went above and beyond in every way! We know our day would not have gone as smoothly had she not been an integral part of it! We so appreciate Shelby and her skills!
