  Justin & Minhtam’s Wedding - 3/26/2022

  Shawn O'Donnell's American Grill and Irish Pub catered our wedding in the spring of 2022, and we couldn’t of been happier with our experience. Kristen served as our point for the catering, but also acted as our coordinator for the wedding itself. She was AMAZING!
  
  We had bounced around searching for caterers, and by the time we reached Shawn O'Donnell's it was a no brainer. We flew up from Los Angeles to taste test, and every option from their appetizers to the main course was perfect (the salmon was especially delicious).   Shawn O'Donnell's American Grill and Irish Pub catered our wedding in the spring of 2022, and we couldn’t of been happier with our experience. Kristen served as our point for the catering, but also acted as our coordinator for the wedding itself. She was AMAZING!
  
  We had bounced around searching for caterers, and by the time we reached Shawn O'Donnell's it was a no brainer. Also, the company was very flexible with my wife’s family bringing in a few food options to better serve the diverse appetites of our guests. On the day of the wedding, everyone of Kristen’s staff showcased positive attitudes and great smiles. They all were extremely professional.
  
  Kristen herself was again, simply amazing. She quarterbacked communication with all the vendors, and already had a pleasant relationship with the venue itself (Rosehill Community Center). Her diligence, attention to detail, and overall positive demeanor was the reason our wedding was a dream come true.

  Exceeded all our expectations

  We hired Shawn O'Donnell's to do catering and bar for our brunch wedding in August 2021. We were extremely happy with how everything came together. Kristen was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond for us on many occasions. We had some very specific requests, like sourcing pastries from a specific bakery we love in Ballard, and having fresh berries from a particular farm, they were able to take care of it all. When we procrastinated on our wine picks until the last minute and some of our picks were out of stock, Kristen provided some excellent suggestions on which wines to substitute that match the flavor profile of the ones we selected.   Delicious!

  We hired Shawn O'Donnell's to cater our wedding, and were very pleased with our experience with them! Kristen was very flexible to work with and we were able to add on ideas we had that weren't on the menu as well. On the day of they took care of all set up and clean up and the staff was very professional and great to work with. We had buffet style food and didn't run out of anything. We got several compliments from our guests on how good the food tasted - especially the mac & cheese!

  Above and Beyond

  My daughter's wedding landed on February 9th 2019 during the Pacific Northwest snowpocalypse. They were on time in spite of 13 inches of snow. Proof of commitment to our event came in the form of Shaun O'Donnell himself driving the catering staff to the hall to make sure they arrived safely. Taylor and Quinn were flexible, helpful, friendly and efficient. At no time did whatever pressure they were feeling become part of my stress. The food was delicious and plentiful. They cleared used plates quickly so that our guests could put their elbows on the tables and enjoy visiting. I hired them to clean dishes at the end of the event for a very reasonable fee and they worked... Read more

  Want to thank Kristen and her amazing team that catered our wedding. She is so nice and flexible. The food was amazing and I got a lot of compliments on the bbq brisket. Loved working with you guys and would do it again in a heart beat.

Leading up to our event Kristen was so helpful and awesome. She answered all of my questions and concerns and helped to take SO much stress off of my shoulders. When the week arrived for our reception there was a big storm predicted and I was very worried about being able to have the food if the power went out. Kristen felt like the calm voice that soothed my insane anxiety when I emailed her with my concerns. She was reassuring and confident and had a plan for if there was no power. I never had to worry if she was going to cancel, or not be able to serve. When the night of our event arrived I showed up and Kristen and her team had everything set up beautifully. One of her assistants was going around to all of our tables and lighting about 100 tea lights for us. I was not expecting that! They helped to clean up after the meal was over and served the cake for us as well. All things I wasn't expecting her and her team to do. I felt they went above and beyond to make it a smooth, classy, and beautiful experience. The food was fantastic. We got so many compliments on the menu and the quality of the food. I even had someone call me afterwards to say thank you for having a vegetarian option. There was so much food, and it was presented so nicely. I was so proud to have that as part of our event. During the event there was an incident that happened that was very upsetting to me, and it sort of caused the night to go sideways. The venue had a private kitchen that Kristen and her team were working in, that my friends and family and I sort of took over here and there while I drank away my embarrassment and disappointment.   Don't be fooled by the name....we had outstanding food catered by Shawn O'Donnell's for my daughters wedding. This crew knows what they are doing and do it extremely well. Family run business and they take their job serious. I had numerous guests at the wedding tell me the food was outstanding and I have to agree! Thank you Shawn O and crew!

  Everyone at O'Donnell's was so great to work with!! We received rave reviews on how good the food was. Everyone had water, cake, champagne, etc. exactly when they needed it. The staff was professional and the catering manager was a treat to work with. I didn't have to stress about anything along the way. The value for the service was better than anything I found by far!!
