  Amazing Planner!!

  We just had our daughter's wedding on Bald Head Island. Shauna is nothing short of fantastic. She helped us with vendor choices, had great ideas, and does it all with patience and professionalism. She kept us on our timeline leading up to the wedding and was incredible on the wedding day. I honestly cannot say enough about Shauna. We are so thankful we found her!

  Hire Shauna!!!

  We seriously can't thank Shauna enough for everything she did to help make our wedding on Bald Head go so smoothly. She's a freaking rockstar! I felt that the space between check in times, to do list, and calls that we had before the wedding were perfect for what needed to be done beforehand. She was always super easy to get a hold of, answered questions timely, and were super nice and helpful. One of the best parts of the wedding day was being able to spend the day with my mom/girls getting ready, taking photos, and not worrying about what was going on at the site because I knew she would have it handled. The timeline she created was so helpful for all of us to make sure everyone knew where they needed to be and when, and not having to stress about that made the day so much easier and more special. This is by far one of the best parts of having you Shauna on our team.

  Shauna and her team make wedding planning look like a breeze! They provide a completely bespoke experience, tailored to your every wedding whim, with ease.
  
  As every client has said: Shauna is a very calm and clear communicator (budget, logistics, design, schedule), an events expert (vendors, timeline, flow), a gifted planner (extremely organized, detail oriented, great foresight, highly adaptive) and a great listener.
  
  We planned our wedding entirely remote from across the country and she kept us on track every step of the way to make our day exactly what he hoped: design details, guest correspondence, event menus, and everything logistics-related.
  
  When it began pouring during our ceremony rehearsal and when the rehearsal dinner venue’s sprinklers started right before the event — Shauna was as cool as a cucumber and adapted quickly to ensure both hiccups were minor and didn’t affect our special weekend.

  Work with Shauna!

  Shauna was incredible to work with leading up to our wedding and on the day of. She is incredibly organized with a ton of connections and resources in the wedding planning market. She was always open to brainstorming with us how to bring in personal touches to our ceremony and decor. She is easy going and relaxed which reduced a lot of anxiety leading up to the weekend of!

  The BEST wedding planner!

  Shauna is INCREDIBLE! She made our wedding beyond what we ever could have hoped for in every way, and it was a wedding our guests have all said they’ll remember as being very special. She made sure everything went off without a hitch and was flexible, coming up with creative solutions whenever we needed. She came up with a genius spot for our ceremony that was very unique and private, the decor was gorgeous, and the way the reception flowed even with some minor time changes was ideal. Both of us had no worries throughout the night because we knew she had it under control! All vendors that she recommended were excellent as well.
  
  She was also very available leading up to wedding the day, keeping me on track and calm and helping me make decisions. Truly can't recommend her enough!

  Trust me, you need her!

  Our wedding was an absolute DREAM & we 100% have Shauna to thank for that! After our first wedding was canceled due to a hurricane, we knew we couldn't plan a second wedding without help.
  
  From our first phone call, I knew she was the one. Not only did she know Bald Head Island like the back of her hand, she was the perfect combo of straight shooter & heart. She truly cared about our needs throughout the entire process.
  
  Then the pandemic hit & we had to postpone our second attempt at a wedding. We were so impressed at the proactivity & speed Shauna took action to pivot. We had our new wedding date & all our vendors rescheduled within a week of our nation's shut down orders! All her vendor recommendations fit our personality and vision for the day perfectly.
  
  Although we had to make some sacrifices & changes to our initial plan for our wedding, she did everything she could & more to make it happen given the pandemics orders. it was the wedding we were meant to have & it was executed flawlessly.   Shauna is amazing!

  Shauna is kind, organized and so extremely helpful. I got married in September and our plans had to change multiple times due to COVID. She managed everything for me and made the stress of changing plans multiple times so much easier to handle. I couldn’t have done it without her!

  Bald Head Island Wedding Expert

  No one knows Bald Head Island better than Shauna. She recommended the BEST vendors and had a great relationship with all of them (she even helped us get better rates with some)! We got married in August during COVID-19, and I fully believe our wedding would not have been possible without Shauna. She did an amazing job communicating with my vendors, getting all of our reception details (tent, lights, flowers, etc.) to the island, and coordinating logistics on our wedding day. I cannot imagine planning a wedding on Bald Head without her - her years of experience working in events on the Island and her relationships with vendors were a life saver!

  Shauna was incredible! My now husband and I live in Oregon and our wedding was at my parents' house in Wrightsville Beach. Planning was going to be a nightmare from such a long distance, but Shauna made everything work so smoothly. She had a list of vendors she trusted, responded by email promptly and scheduled conference phone calls regularly, and had great advice during the planning process. On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect! Shauna and her team made the whole evening work seamlessly. She thought of everything, even making sure the caterers saved us a plate of food and that we ate before being swarmed by our guests. I would recommend Shauna over and over again. She is organized, patient, and a delight to work with!

  Our daughter’s wedding was April 27, 2019 on Bald Head Island. It was truly the most perfect day and evening due to Shauna’s expertise and guidance! She is truly the best from start to finish with every little detail. When my daughter and I needed suggestions, she was right there with all of her help and many options to choose from.   Bald Head Island Wedding

  Shauna is amazing!! We originally sought out Shauna to assist with our wedding on Bald Head Island. Having had worked on the island, she is extremely knowledgeable about the ends and outs of a wedding on BHI. When Hurricane Florence damaged the island and caused us to move our wedding to Raleigh at the last minute, Shauna took charge of taking care of all of our vendors, etc on Bald Head and even traveled to Raleigh to assist in our new wedding there. We could not have managed the last minute change without her and she was a lifesaver in taking the stress off of myself (the Bride) and my mother. Her dedication to her business is apparent and in every step of the process we felt we could trust her 100% with our special day.

We cannot talk about her and compliment her enough! Shauna was like a fairy godmother who came into our lives and made the whole wedding process from start to finish seamless, fun, and wonderful. We did not think we would ever be able to have our dream wedding on Bald Head Island, a place that is very dear to us, but Shauna made it happen! Our wedding was initially scheduled for October, however we had to reschedule due to Hurricane Florence. Shauna was a life saver and handled everything with our vendors and made the whole postponement so easy on us.   Excellent Wedding Planner

  Shauna was the perfect wedding planner! My husband and I had a destination wedding and we weren't familiar with any of the local vendors, Shauna made the perfect recommendations for our florist, DJ, officiant and bakery. We would have been lost without her guidance. She was very quick to respond to communication and was always ready to help when issues came up. She kept us on track to meet all of our deadlines and was great to work with. Shauna has an easy going personality and really listens to what the couple has to say. I would absolutely recommend anyone getting married in the Wilmington, NC area, use her as your wedding planner, you won't regret it!

  Five Stars is NOT enough

  My daughter's wedding was to be an island wedding. However, Hurricane Florence ruined that. We had four days notice to move the wedding to our home town. Shauna's home town was flooded from Florence. Despite being away from home for a week after Hurricane Florence, Shauna worked diligently to help move my daughter's wedding and she worked the wedding (having never been home to check on her own home). The Wedding and Reception went so smoothly and beautifully, you would have thought it had been planned for nine months instead of four days. Throughout the whole year of planning and the last very challenging week, Shauna was there to make everything perfect. Five Stars is NOT enough for her!!!!

  We love Shauna and know you will too!

  Shauna was a lifesaver. Quite literally.  We were planning to get married on Bald Head Island, NC. However, the weekend before our wedding, Hurricane Florence slammed into Bald Head Island, closing our venue and vendors.  Needless to say, 5 days before the wedding we had to frantically come up with a backup plan. We had to plan an entirely new wedding. Seriously, an entirely new wedding. She was with us every single step of the way, supporting us and making arrangements.  She brought a sense of peace and security to our entire wedding weekend experience when everything around us was hectic.  Shauna’s organization and leadership is truly unmatched. I credit her with the flawless wedding day. The day of the wedding you would have never known it was a backup plan because Shauna made sure the day was distraction free and absolutely beautiful. Additionally, rather than going back to check on her home after the storm, she chose to meet us in our new location to plan the new wedding, which speaks volumes to who she is and how she cares for her clients. We felt unbelievably cared for and heard by her.
   
  Not only was Shauna amazing during the time of distress and tragedy when we realized the day we had planned together for 10 months wasn’t going to happen, she was incredible during the entire process.  From constant communication, creative design ideas, organizing our wedding parties, coordinating wedding weekend plans/timeline, and on-and-on, Shauna was truly an INCREDIBLE wedding planner. Any vendor we mentioned Shauna’s name too, could not say enough amazing things about her.  We would hire Shauna 1,000 times over again and would suggest that you do the same. We love Shauna.

  Shauna is amazing!

  Shauna is an amazing wedding planner! We couldnt have done it without her. We got married on Bald Head Island, and she tied the whole event together, and was always one step ahead. Its rare to be able to find someone that you can fully trust to get everything done (especially something as personal as a wedding). Shauna is the person you want on the job, she nailed it. Would highly recommend her services.

  Made my wedding experience stress-free

  Shauna was the saving grace in my wedding! I started planning my wedding in November 2017 and didn’t originally intend to have a wedding planner. Everything was coming together- I had a vision and vendors and a budget, but I still felt like something was missing. I “met” with two other planners before finding Shauna and they only offered phone calls instead of meeting in person and I felt like they were selling me on their services the whole time. When I setup a meeting with Shauna we met over coffee and she asked me tons of questions about my day that I hadn’t even thought about. She started giving me recommendations and was basically helping me before a contract had even been discussed. I immediately felt comfortable with her and even though I chose her “day-of” coordinator package she went above and beyond for me all of the days leading up to my wedding. When I say that my wedding day went off without a hitch it’s not an exaggeration- I would highly recommend Shauna Loves Planning to anyone who asks!
