My bridal hair and makeup was beautiful and made me feel confident throughout the night. Sharon perfectly captured the natural look I wanted on my wedding day as well as a smokey look for a boudoir shoot. Sharon and her team are amazing! Professional and punctual. We did not have to worry once about not being on schedule. She takes the time to listen to what you want and delivers just that. Sharon was amazing to work with! I gave her a bit of free reign when it came to the make up since I am not great at it in my everyday life and she nailed it! Beautiful and dazzling hair and makeup that stayed all night!
I highly recommend Sharon and her team for wedding hair and makeup! After having a great experience with her as a bridesmaid for a friend's wedding, I booked Sharon in advance for the Mehendi/Sangeet night of our Indian wedding and we had so much fun planning a colorful look! She made the trial easy and she listened to all my requests, wishes, and concerns and came up with a look that was so creative and gorgeous! She was very kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. On the day of, we worked with Sharon and Kaitlyn and they were truly the dream team. They were both extremely flexible and created a calming and fun presence for the women in my family as we got ready! I was very nervous about my hair and makeup lasting because it was a very hot day out and my hair tends to get so frizzy! But I didn't have anything to worry about. I was so happy with how the look turned out and overjoyed at how well everything stayed put the entire day and night! They also did an excellent job with my hair pieces and jewelry placement. Left Everyone Feeling Gorgeous
I got married a few weeks ago and chose Sharon and her team for makeup. She was recommended to me by a friend who got married last year. I cannot recommend Sharon and her team enough! I had a 6 bridesmaids and some family members who also wanted their makeup done. Sharon and the other makeup artist listened to what myself and each person was looking for in their makeup. Every one of my girls felt absolutely beautiful and their makeup fit them perfectly. I was also overjoyed with my makeup and felt gorgeous. My makeup lasted throughout the night…including some tears and dancing.
Sharon was also extremely accommodating and timely. Sharon allowed me to swap out some people who decided not to do makeup with other people and because she was so ahead of schedule, even allowed an extra family member to have their makeup done as well as adding a little sparkle to my flower girl (who was so excited to feel like a princess).

I‘ve never felt more beautiful and like a princess before in my life!!
I recently got married in November and I am still in awe of how beautiful Sharon and her team made myself and all of the other beautiful ladies I love feel so gorgeous. Not only were they SO fast getting all the girls, the moms, and I’s makeup done it was FLAWLESS. My makeup lasted through hours of happy tears and dancing like a party animal. She even brought a speaker and played an awesome playlist which was a great addition since throughout wedding planning I forgot music for getting ready time 😅 Sharon made me feel so special and cared for from our trial run, in between, and especially on the big day. Amazing wedding makeup and hair stylist!
I recently had my wedding in November and we hired Sharon and her team to do hair and makeup for a rather large wedding party, plus a couple of moms and a flower girl. It was an absolute dream to work with Sharon and her team! Sharon did my makeup personally and she made me look like AMAZING, it was everything I wanted and more! All of my bridesmaids were SO HAPPY with the services, everybody loved the way their stylist did their hair and makeup. Sharon is absolutely amazing. I've known and worked with her in the years past and I didn't even have to think twice about who I would ask to be a part of my special day. She is calm and collected, professional, and is there to get the job done. She is the perfect energy for a bride that is trying to manage those nerves leading up to that big moment.

Sharon is fantastic! She is timely, responsive and just an overall good human! I got married a couple weekends ago and hired Sharon to do my makeup for a daytime wedding. I don't know much about makeup but I did know the *look* I wanted. On the day of, I showed Sharon a single inspiration photo and let her get to work. Sharon has a way of somehow knowing what works for your skin tone & vibe you're going for (I hadn't even done a trial!) She worked quickly & efficiently but you could tell she's truly an expert - AND a sweet, funny person who made the session fun! It felt like magic when I opened my eyes - I remember that 'whoa' moment of that natural, glowy look that captured *exactly* what I was going for. I can't count the number of compliments I got during the day. I'd highly recommend Sharon, she's the best!

Sharon was amazing! We live in Nebraska and our wedding was in thr Austin, TX area. Looking at her portfolio, it was clear that she caters to her clients and adapts to many different styles. I knew Sharon would be great immediately because of her responsiveness. She thoroughly addressed any questions I had prior to making the contract official and I feel that is sadly a trait lacking in many people these days.
Getting close to the day of the wedding, I had a minor change in plans for location of getting ready. Granted, it was only one block away from my original plans, but I was still very pleased and grateful for Sharon's flexibility. For my hair and makeup, she listened to the few preferences I had, but I really let use her creativity to help determine final looks. She helped me feel very beautiful and my husband could not have been happier.
I normally like to do my own hair and makeup for all kinds of events. With that said, I would 100% put my faith and trust in Sharon again.

Just wow! So happy we went with Sharon Marie makeup.
Sharon and her associate, Kaitlyn, did all the hair and make up for my daughter's Nov. 2022 wedding, and also for the rehearsal dinner, and a bridal "dry-run". All 3 times she knocked it out of the ball parrk; a makeup and hair home run. All the bridesmaids, Mom's and the Bride looking stunning, but not unrecognizable. Sharon does great eyes, lashes, foundation skin tone match, and so much more! I realize there's many artists to choose from, but we are so happy we selected Sharon Marie's services. Sharon was amazing! I gave her a couple makeup photographs that I wanted recreated and she did it flawlessly. I opted for the airbrush foundation that came out picture perfect. I also provided her with an idea for hair that she ran with and created on the spot to match our vintage theme. Sharon is absolutely amazing!! Let me start by saying her communication is great. I reached out to multiple hair/makeup artists and got no response for days/weeks. She responded same day and continued to do that until my event day. She did my hair and makeup for my 20 year vow renewal. I spent a lot of time looking for a hair/makeup artist because I have naturally curly hair, and I wanted to find someone that knew how to work with natural curls, rather than trying to convince me to straighten it. Let me tell you.....Sharon is a hair whisperer!! I have never had my hair/curls look this good in all of my life! She asked me to add whatever products I normally would and dry it so that the curls were ready for her to work with. She then used a curling iron to enhance some of the areas that didn't have curls that were super defined or areas that lacked volume. Honestly, watching the process happen amazed me! She knew how to work with the curls, rather than forcing the curls where she wanted them to go. The end product was more than I could have imagined and I got so many compliments! As for the makeup, I don't wear makeup often and when I do, it's very minimal. She did not force me to wear a ton of makeup that I wasn't comfortable with, she simply enhanced my features. When it came time for adding lashes, I was hesitant so she tried out a set and I didn't love how long and heavy they were so she switched them without hesitation and the new ones she applied were so light and looked so natural that I really loved them! I would recommend Sharon 1000%, if you are still searching for someone, she is your person, you will not be dissapointed!

I had a small, intimate wedding with no bridesmaids- so it was difficult to source a makeup artist during peak wedding season that would only be doing makeup for 2 or 3 people. Sharon is a wonderful makeup artist! She's very talented and I felt completely confident in her skills for my special day. Not only did she do my makeup for my wedding, but she did the makeup for my engagement party and bridal portraits. She even did the makeup for many of the women in my bridal party. She also handled the hiring and scheduling of additional hair and makeup artists when we needed it, so I didn't have to worry about it. What a relief! What stood out to me the most is Sharon's ability to tackle hyperpigmentation head on! I have melasma (dark spots) across several areas of my face that leaves me a little insecure at times and on my special day, I wanted my skin to look flawless. She's such a pro and experienced makeup artist. She knew exactly what color correction to apply to counter-act the dark spots to make my skin look glowing! You wouldn't even know they existed! I also love her lipstick application. She applied several different shades to my lips, creating this great custom color to perfectly compliment my makeup and the lipstick will stay on all night long!

After looking at her portfolio, I contacted Sharon about her hair and makeup services for my wedding. She was extremely responsive, easy to communicate with and made me feel at ease. I sent her a few pictures of what I wanted and we set up a makeup trial. She NAILED it. I don't say this lightly, because I always hate the way I look after getting my makeup done.
The morning of my wedding, Sharon was on time and ready to go! She's so easy to talk to and helped get rid of some of my wedding morning jitters. Not surprisingly, Sharon NAILED it again. I felt beautiful. If you're on the fence, go with Sharon.. you won't regret it!

Sharon did my makeup, as well as some of my bridesmaids' makeup, for my wedding. She did an excellent job; she was efficient and I felt beautiful. Furthermore, I felt the price was extremely fair. Additionally, I planned my wedding from Korea and thus never met with Sharon to do a trial run. Out the gate - Sharon was kind, responsive, professional, and reliable. She was extremely prompt in responses, and we were able to set up services right away (something that was unexpectedly difficult with other vendors). Very quickly Sharon is someone who puts me at ease, even from the first conversation. This was my overall experience with her. This is really important, especially on big days like our engagement shoot and the wedding day. On my wedding day especially, as people flew around us and asked me questions, she was a steady and sweet presence which helped ground me in the moment and what I especially appreciated.
On her hair and makeup services specifically - wow wow wow! I could tell my husband was super into how she transformed me into her signature look, "natural glam". I say transform, but a more accurate way of saying it is that I felt like what she did was enhance how I looked. I usually hate getting makeup done because I feel like it doesn't look like me. She helped me still feel like my authentic self on a day where it is really important to feel present.

Cannot rave about Sharon enough!! After cancelling our wedding due to COVID we decided to use some of the credits for a celebration 6 months later with our friends and family. Booking a hair/makeup person within a 3 month time period was proving to be impossible as everyone I had contacted was completely booked. Sharon said she would be happy to do it if we could coordinate a time that would not conflict with a wedding she was scheduled to work. So that’s what we did! She came to my house before the other event and did my hair and makeup beautifully! Cannot thank her enough. She is professional, kind, and very talented! Even made a few edits during the appointment to ensure I was happy with the end results! Hair and makeup lasted ALL DAY LONG 8am to midnight. 5 stars!!

Sharon did a fabulous job on my, my partner's, and my wedding party's wedding day makeup and hair! She made me, my partner, and my small wedding party look and feel amazing! Before I found her, I received a quote from another makeup artist that was way more expensive and required twice as long to complete one full hair and makeup service, one gender-neutral makeup service, and two hairstyling services. Sharon completed all that in a short amount of time and with great skill! She graciously traveled to my home for my wedding day makeup trial and arrived early at the venue on the day of the wedding. I highly recommend Sharon Marie Makeup! She communicated quickly and thoroughly, starting with the trial. She was very flexible with me because I lived out of town and had to travel in for the trial. She took my concerns and requests and gave me a perfect look, even at the trial! On the actual wedding day we had some issues with the venue not being open when it should have. Not only was Sharon willing to pivot and go to plan B with no hesitation, she also helped my bridal party reach out to the venue and coordinator to resolve the problem. Great MakeUp Artist and So Fun to Work With!!
Sharon is so talented and such a pleasure to work with! I hired her to be my makeup artist for my wedding. I was reading an article in The Knot Texas magazine and saw a spread about a bride who's makeup was absolutely stunning, and found Sharon was the MUA for it. I contacted her that morning, and she responded that same day ready to send me pricing estimates and talk about what I was envisioning for my look and my big day. I had talked to a few MUAs that week, and Sharon was the most flexible and treated me like she was already working for me before I hired her. She was also extremely understanding with working out a payment plan and adding services when my wedding party was constantly changing due to covid. We had to postpone our wedding originally in May of 2020 to December, and she was on board with us every step of the way when we postponed, and when we started to plan the details after deciding not to postpone the wedding again. She was quick to respond to communications and always on time and prepared. My makeup lasted all day/night, and it was exactly what I asked her for. Highly recommend!!

Sharon is a hair and makeup pro! Due to the pandemic, we had a minimony with immediate family on our original wedding day in June 2020, and finally had our big wedding celebration with the rest of our family and friends in July 2021. One of the silver linings of this is that I got to have my hair and makeup done by Sharon twice. Both times I wore a hair comb -- it easily stayed in the updo, and I was convinced the weight of it would fall out of my naturally straight hair when it was down, but Sharon had it placed in well that it stayed put all night! She and her assistant Kaitlyn also did my mom, mother-in-law and aunt’s makeup, and they all looked so beautiful and were excited about how it all turned out. Sharon is also just the sweetest, most fun gal, and it’s a joy to sit and chat with her while she works her magic. She makes you feel like the most beautiful person on the planet -- book her and you’ll feel that way too!
JUNE 6 MINIMONY REVIEW
Sharon immediately stood out from all the hair and makeup artists I was looking at as I was planning our wedding day. She was quick to respond to my inquiry and was genuinely interested in our day and what I was looking for. I loved her work I’d seen online, so I booked a trial with her.
I spent two hours with her as she worked on my hair and makeup and it was like hanging out and catching up with a good friend -- she makes you feel that at ease! I showed her some ideas I had for hair and makeup and she took them and personalized them to what would work best for my skin and hair. She did a fantastic job making the makeup look done-up and special yet natural, and even did my hair both down and up since I was torn with how I wanted it. She checked to make sure I was happy with the look and had no problem with making a few adjustments to the look based on feedback. After the appointment I met up with my fiancé for dinner and that night he went on and on about how beautiful I looked. He’s not one to usually comment on hair and makeup, so I knew Sharon’s work made a big impression!
Sharon was fantastic with communication -- she may have been the quickest of all our vendors to respond to emails! As COVID-19 became more serious in the states and restrictions were placed on gatherings, we started re-evaluating our wedding plans as our original date was 6/6/2020. Ultimately, we decided to still get married on our date with only immediate family present and reschedule our big celebration to a later, safer date for the rest of our family and friends to join us. It was a tough decision that not only affected us but also our vendors. Sharon was so accommodating and encouraging through our replanning and rescheduling. While she was not available for our rescheduled date, she recommended a trusted colleague to be there for it, and she agreed to just do my hair and makeup on our replanned original date.
Sharon showed up early and got right to work on my hair and makeup and finished a little early as well. When she gave me the mirror, I literally teared up -- I’m just okay at doing makeup and can never do anything with my stick-straight hair, so to see myself with a full face of flawless makeup and a gorgeous up-do made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. I’d literally never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day, and it’s in large part thanks to Sharon’s talent and years of experience working hard at what she does. She is truly the best!

I used Sharon for my wedding on 2/20/20. When we met at my Bridal trial, we hit it off immediately! She is so personable, easy to talk to, and an incredible makeup artist! My bridal party looked gorgeous. I had a large group of girls, so she brought a colleague of hers, Amy, who was also so sweet and amazing. We had a great time getting ready with her and my bridal party loved her. I highly recommend Sharon for any makeup artist needs. She will make you feel and look incredible for your special day. Sharon in Amazing!
Sharon was AMAZING to have be a part of our wedding day. I did a makeup trial with her a few weeks before my wedding as well as full bridal makeup on the day of. At my trial, she was so good at looking at pictures I had of bridal makeup I liked and making suggestions to create something that would personally fit me the best and my style. She is so much fun to have around and all of my family and bridesmaids loved having her too. She did makeup for a wide range of ages and everyone who got it done LOVED it and it stayed on all night! Throughout the whole process from when we started working together to the day of, she was always very responsive and helped me answer any questions I had and fast. She is truly on your team and wants you to have the best day ever! She does everything in her power to make that happen. I would recommend her to everyone- she's WONDERFUL!

AMAZING talented Woman with a beautiful soul
I booked my appt. from out of state with a last minute reservation on a Sunday guys for a destination wedding in Austin Texas, She didn’t even hesitate to say yes!! She came to meet me on the coldest morning, set up in my cottage and fixed my hair and makeup for my wedding. Do you want someone willing to get up at the crack of dawn to do your makeup and many others? Sharon is definitely your girl. She does amazing work has amazing music taste and is just an overall amazing person! I’m so sad I moved to Colorado because I would 100% use Sharon for every makeup need ever!!! When it came time to walk down the aisle with a months notice- Sharon was my first call! This was my third time working with her- and every time she delivers beyond expectations. I first used her as a bridesmaid for my best friends wedding and loved the work she did. When my baby sister got married I knew Sharon HAD TO be the one who did her and the entire bridal parties make up. What a great experience1
Sharon was willing to be at our venue at 6:30 on a Sunday morning to do makeup for five bridesmaids, plus family members. We all looked glorious! Very natural, not over done. She listened to everyone's specifications, made everyone happy but all looked cohesive when it was time for photos.

The dynamic duo
Sharon and Rachel are THE DUO for wedding hair and makeup! They both are so efficient, precise, and just straight amazing. I did not do a trial because I had so much confidence in both of them and did they deliver. Sharon's makeup stayed on the WHOLE day/night and I honestly have never looked better.
Rachel got my hair inspo and executed it so flawlessly, I couldn't believe it. I recommend this amazing duo for weddings, events, anything to look your best.

Sharon did the makeup for me and 8 other women on my wedding day and did an amazing job! Everyone loved their makeup and she worked very efficiently, getting everyone done on time. Sharon also hooked me up with a great hair stylist, Kaitlyn Drury, at the last minute when my original hair stylist fell through. I loved both my hair and makeup on my wedding day and felt like the best version of myself. Both women really listened to what I wanted, but also appropriately contributed their professional opinions. I cannot recommend Sharon Marie Makeup enough!

My hair stylist referred me to Sharon to handle my wedding day makeup, and I quickly booked her. My stylist was then unable to do my hair on the wedding day, so I added hair to the services. And let me just tell you.... WOWOW! Sharon knows her business. She nailed the look I was going for with only one picture! On the wedding day, she was so attentive and personable. Not only did she make me look 10 years younger, she made my 18 year old daughter look more beautiful than I have ever seen her. She is so patient and she really listens! SHARON IS A MAKEUP GODDESS. She will make you look like the best version of yourself. If you need guidance, she will give you guidance. If you know exactly what you want, she will give you exactly what you want. From start to finish I knew I had picked the right artist. At our trial, I got to know her sweet and funny personality. She encouraged any feedback and I felt comfortable giving it to her (I tweaked my lip color). On my wedding day, my lip color was PERFECT. She arrived ahead of schedule and set up her station to get all of my girls and me done in a timely fashion. I will never forget how safe I felt in her chair. I trusted her to make me look like the bride I envisioned and she knocked it out of the park. My Hispanic mother is impressed by none, except Sharon. Sharon loves what she does and she excels at it. Super talented & just a really sweet person
I knew about Sharon because she did hair & makeup for my cousin's wedding in 2017 - who had all great things to say. I decided to book Sharon because of her SUPER QUICK response to my inquiry and how important it was for her to answer any and all questions I had. I used my trial hair & makeup for my bridal portraits (8.30.18) - which was FLAWLESS. My wedding day (10.20.18) turned out even more amazing. I felt soooo beautiful!!! Sharon was a perfect fit for myself and my wedding party. I could not be more pleased with her services. Everyone was glowing and beautiful all night. She took what they wanted for hair and makeup and made it EVEN BETTER!!! I love that she is professional, quick, and makes you feel so comfortable all at the same time! She is accommodating and understanding as well. I had a large wedding party and Sharon worked from 9a-3p nonstop and didn't skip a beat! She even had time to fit in an extra person for makeup. I booked her early in the year and she responded to my emails, texts, and calls super fast every time I had a question or needed to make a change. I'm looking forward to more events where I can call her up and get my makeup done again!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Sharon. I had had a very unpleasant experience with another Austin base MUA and reach out to Sharon after seeing some of her work. I was first introduced to Sharon when she was hired for my sister’s wedding almost 2 years ago. Since then I have used her on multiple occasions when I needed professional makeup and most recently used her for my own wedding. She is a TOP NOTCH makeup artist. What I like about Sharon is that she listens to you when you talk about your skin concerns or problem areas and also takes into account how you like your makeup. Both my trial makeup and actual wedding day makeup looked amazing and stayed on all night (despite the humidity since it rained the whole time and we were under a tent outside)!
