Book This Team!
Working with Shannon and her team was the absolute best wedding decision we could have made. We worked with her on the design & planning of our wedding, and truly feel so fortunate to have been able to work with her. Shannon is extremely talented, understanding, responsive, sweet; I could go on. She never made me feel like I was a burden during wedding planning when my mom & I were both emailing multiple questions a day. I truly let Shannon's talent & expertise take the lead and my wedding turned out better than I could have ever imagined. She would listen to my feedback, follow up with more vendors if need be, and always worked within our budget. The month leading up, we began working with Michelle who is an absolute gem & rockstar. So sweet, composed, professional, and also so talented at what she does. She has a way to orchestrate a 30+ person wedding party and make it look easy. I trusted her 1000% with my wedding day and for good reason. She was amazing! Overall, Shannon, Michelle, and Chris are a dynamic trio who are truly invaluable and you should absolutely hire this team! -

The best ever. We hired the Shannon Wellington team to be our month of & onsite planners and we could not be more thankful that we did. The moment we were a month out, Chris was so communicative and reached out right away to find time to chat! He spent SO much time with me going over every single vendor and detail which made me feel so at ease. I kept saying on our call "you are making me feel so much better" and it really was true! As an event planner myself who is super detail oriented and for lack of better words, "controlling", it is hard to imagine how overwhelming it can be on your wedding day until you are there. From the moment our day started until the moment the night was over, my husband and i, families and both bridal parties just felt calm and were able to enjoy every single moment and that is totally because Michelle & Chris were onsite with us. They kept the timeline moving and made sure that every single detail was perfect. They made it so perfect that one of my bridesmaids booked them for her wedding right after! They are INCREDIBLE - everyone deserves to have a Michelle & Chris with them on their wedding day!!!! -

The Dream Team
If there was an option to be rated more than 5 stars there is no doubt in my mind that Shannon and her team would be. From our first phone call I just knew that Shannon was “it”. Everything she said on our initial consult put me at ease and felt in line with how I was envisioning our wedding day. I am the type of person who makes lists and more lists and has a hard time not having their hand in everything.. let me tell you- for me to be able to just give full creative control to Shannon is a true testament to her brilliance. I have never been so comfortable and trusting of someone’s creative expertise before- Shannon and I discussed our style inspiration (I may have even made her an entire packet detailing every design aspect I could think of) and from there she took the reigns and worked with florist (who was out of this world amazing) rentals, linen, stationary, you name it to create on of the most magical and breathtaking sights- not even to mention the florals, linens and signage for the night before as well. Leading up to the wedding I was so calm (also a testament to Shannon and her team as I often joke that I don’t have an off switch and am always “going going going”) anytime anyone asked if I needed anything I had nothing because they were handling every little detail down to what straws we had for the signature cocktail.
Day of was a breeze- Chris was my life line and I have no idea what I would have done without him. He was so calm and collected - our bridesmaids and groomsmen all commented to us about how much of an asset he was. He was pulling out sewing kits before the ceremony to fixed a popped button off one of the tuxedos, he was reassuring me when I was scared we were running behind getting ready that we had buffer time and all would be okay (we did and it was), every time I had to move I would just feel half my body weight of dress go away and Chris was there carrying my entire train (which wasn’t light) and keeping my veil from flying away or getting caught on something. He brought water to our whole bridal party and families during our photos outside, was in charge of some rogue boutonnières that we almost forgot at the house before the first look (the only reason we didn’t is because of Chris) and so much more.
Shannon and her team kept the whole day on schedule so well- cocktail hour was exactly one hour, everything happened when it was supposed to, and Shannon even helped my husband and I sneak away to take it all in before we got sunset photos and the reception started. The entire weekend start to finish was amazing because of Shannon and her team. So many guests came up to us to tell us how the Welcome Bags were amazing and had the most delicious cookies and popcorn, the Welcome Dinner the night before the wedding was beautiful- we had florals linens and signage to hint at the wedding vibe and I think it was done so perfectly. I have had guests tell me that wedding day looked like a fairy tale. Shannon had basically created a garden/forest indoors and it was completely and utterly breathtaking.
I can’t even sum up how amazing this team is- I would do it all over again a million times just to get to work with them again. They were truly my wedding dream team. -

Michelle was incredibly helpful in providing vendor recommendations and offering valuable advice leading up to our special day. Where to even start? I really don't think the words thank you correctly encapsulate how grateful I am for all that you and your incredible team, did to make my wedding an absolute dream on 5/14/22.
From the moment we started planning oh so many years ago, you just got it. You took every fleeting thought or idea I had and made it 10x better. You knew how important the details, florals, and decor were to me and you absolutely blew every expectation that I had out of the water. It was truly perfection, better than anything I thought possible. As I told Michelle, I will never forget that feeling of seeing the tent for the first time. It was the most surreal feeling to see all of our sketches, emails, texts and meetings come to fruition in one absolutely perfect vision.
Michelle and Chris were my absolute angels, bringing me calm when at so many points I wanted to cry from frustration when things just didn't seem to want to go smoothly that day. I knew I was going to have a hard time letting go of the control as it proved so, but they kept on making sure I was doing my best to enjoy being in the moment. I know this was no easy task.
Marty is still on cloud 9 and has repeated over and over to anyone and everyone he talks to that it was hands down the best day of his life. The compliments have just been overflowing from all of our family, friends, and guests that it was the most incredible wedding they ever attended.
I just know how hard you and the whole team worked to make this come together and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for putting your all into my wedding, I felt every ounce of your effort and so so appreciate you treating this wedding as if it was your very own.
You will forever be my favorite wedding planner and dear friend. It was an absolute honor to work with you for my wedding!

Shannon and team make your bridal dreams come true!!!
Shannon and her team made my wedding dreams come to life! I truly could not have imagined a more perfect day. We hired Shannon's team in early 2020 and ended up postponing our wedding a year due to the pandemic, and Shannon's team was extremely helpful and flexible. What started as a few pins on pinterest became the most visually stunning event I have ever seen in my life- I'll never have enough words to thank Shannon for her creative genius! Not a single detail went unnoticed! Her creativity is unmatched! And beyond that, Michelle was the most organized and calm person I have ever met. She coached me, my now husband, and family through the whole day, making sure everyone was comfortable and EVERY SINGLE need was met. In the time leading up to the wedding, she answered me and my moms 100s of questions as we started to get nervous for our day, and coordinated all of the logistics for our MANY vendors. I didn't notice one negative thing happen all day- the team was amazing! If you want to be able to sit back, relax, and truly enjoy your wedding planning process and big day, you have to hire Shannon and her team! I'm still in tears thinking about how perfect it was, and how kind and selfless Shannon, Michelle, and Chris were- they really do make dreams come true! -

It has been less than two days since our wedding, but I cannot let another day pass by without shouting from the rooftops about Shannon and her incredible team!
We hired Shannon Wellington Weddings back in late 2020 for full-service wedding planning and design, and let me tell you - this team is BEST IN CLASS. Period. There is no one better. Shannon is undeniably always a step ahead of the rest. I was blown away by her ability to so seamlessly identify trendy vs timeless over the almost 2 years we spent planning our big day. It’s tough to overstate her impeccable eye for design, from identifying the perfect textured table linens to the way each individual item sits in your photographer’s flat lay detail shots (which Shannon lays out herself, btw!).
Michelle and Chris are also absolutely INCREDIBLE. Michelle is so unbelievably helpful throughout the entire planning process - she manages every single logistic so effortlessly, and both Michelle and Chris are so cool, calm, and collected at all times. We had a big transportation fiasco with guests stuck on shuttles on their way to our ceremony, which put the day a bit behind schedule. Shannon, Michelle, and Chris never wavered and made everything as smooth as possible, down to having our string quartet play well beyond their allotted time to entertain guests during the long wait (which I hadn’t even thought of, but heard from guests afterwards how fabulous it was!). If we had anyone else on our team, I truly think the transportation issues would’ve sabotaged the day, but Shannon’s team was SO in control of the situation that we didn’t even blink an eye or even really think much about it!
I would be remiss not to add that if you’re looking for a wedding planner to inundate you with daily emails, updates, and questions on every minuscule detail - this team ain’t it. They are the best of the best, and like all professionals at the very top of their field, the biggest reward comes when you fully and completely trust them and the process. If I knew how to plan a wedding or had a super specific vision down to what I wanted my napkins to look like, I would’ve done it myself. Share the big picture for the day, then stay open to ideas and let Shannon and her team work their magic. As just one of MANY examples, Shannon asked if she could arrange a “surprise” for us at our reception. We didn’t hesitate for a moment, and it was truly one of the most stunning areas of the entire event: a Palm Springs-inspired lounge complete with bright seating, chic swan floaties, glowing orbs, and of course, frozé and piña coladas on tap. We got sooooo many compliments from our guests, and like all things Shannon does, no one had ever seen it before.
I know I’m leaving out so much here, but it really is difficult to convey how special this team is. RUN to book her!!! -

The Bigley Wedding at The Lakehouse Inn
Shannon, Michelle & their team were absolutely fantastic in every aspect of the planning process and were worth every penny we spent on them. It’s almost difficult to really put into words how much they did for us. From the very beginning, they connected us with only the best vendors – who were all fantastic in their own rights. They set a schedule and a budget specific to us and followed up with us at every step of the way. They helped coordinate all the vendors and made sure everything was set weeks before the big day. Michelle even helped us find a fabulous rehearsal dinner location that set the tone for the whole experience. If we needed anything at all Michelle was there to answer any questions and to coordinate any odds and ends. Then there was the actual design. Shannon created something we only thought possible in magazines. Not only did members of the venue staff say it was the most gorgeous they’ve ever seen their facility both for the ceremony as well as the reception, but countless guests remarked to us that this was the most spectacular and picturesque wedding they had ever attended. We truly could not have been happier with Shannon, Michelle and their whole team and could not recommend them enough. If you want your wedding experience to be more or less stress free as well as something you and your guests will be talking about for years to come HIRE THE SHANNON WELLINGTON TEAM!! There are simply not enough good things to say about Shannon Wellington Weddings and Events. I originally contracted Shannon and team for the weekend package but when COVID we had to postpone the wedding one time and then completely change the venue of our wedding to my parents´ house. I asked Shannon and team to upgrade our contract and use them full time. BEST DECISION EVER. Michelle was a dream to work with. She is so responsive and professional on top of extremely talented and fantastic at what she does. The day of the wedding I felt completely at ease knowing that Michelle was in charge. Shannon Wellington Weddings and Events is worth every cent. Book them now! -

We made a last minute decision to have our wedding at my parents' house instead of our original venue. I have always dreamed of having a perfect wedding that is not only beautiful but also a true reflection of US as a couple. I knew without a doubt that having it at my parents' was going to be able to fulfill my vision in more ways than a traditional venue ever could.
...HOWEVER, I. WAS. STRESSED.
As soon as I met Shannon and Michelle, I knew without a doubt that they were going to make my day perfect. And I cannot describe how much they exceeded all of my expectations. I still cannot believe how happy and CALM I felt on the day of. I woke up on my wedding day, looked out the window and saw it was raining. I just shrugged it off and moved on without a care in the world. I knew that by having Michelle by my side, my day was going to be filled with sunshine regardless of the weather forecast.
Michelle took care of EVERYTHING. From getting special eyedrops due to my allergic reaction to lash extensions to coordinating the dreaded rain "plan B", to holding my dress in the mud for our first look, she truly did it all.
Michelle also took an immense amount of time to plan our hair and makeup schedule and facilitated deliveries and pickups for all vendors.
The most impressive part of our experience working with SWW was their ability to keep my mother CALM. This is something I could have never imagined...but they made it happen and did a damn good job of making her happy. By consistently checking in on her and filling her in on the information that she did (or did not ) need to know in order to make the day go smoothly. I still am in complete awe and indescribably grateful because I was able to truly enjoy the day with my mother and that is something that is incredibly priceless to me.
My favorite part about working with Michelle and SWW was not their top-quality service, but it was the personal relationships that I was able to build with the team. Michelle worked so incredibly hard to make our day perfect and she did it with such a beautiful, genuine smile that filled my heart with such joy and confidence. I will never be able to thank them enough for making such a huge impact on the best day of my life.

Superb! 5++ Pure talent, professionalism and care. We initially hired SWW for month of coordinating for the June 2020 wedding of our daughter. Then Covid19 hit and all of the plans were in flux. Once it was decided that an August 2020 wedding would take place at our home, ceremony and reception for 150 persons, Shannon Wellington weddings became our full service planner. Shannon's team with Michelle Bowes at the lead were incredible not only as expert wedding coordinators, but as supportive and caring people during a very unusual and difficult time. SWW pulled together an amazing event under extreme circumstances. Our wedding weekend was a huge success thanks to SWW.

Shannon made my dreams a reality!
Words cannot express my gratitude for Shannon and her team. My wedding was something out of a magazine! Shannon took my vision and worked her magic to create a masterpiece. I am extremely detail oriented and a bit of a perfectionist so at first I was apprehensive about hiring a planner. I was worried that a planner would not fully understand my vision leading to disappointment. I could not have been more wrong! Hiring Shannon was the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning process. From the beginning Shannon listened closely to my thoughts and ideas providing much needed support, guidance and recommendations. She was always honest and never pushy. Shannon used her expertise and network of top notch vendors to create a unique design plan all within our budget. While Shannon and her team worked on multiple weddings throughout the year, she was always available and made me feel like my wedding was her priority. Shannon and her team (shout out to Erin who stayed by my side all night) helped me remain calm and stress-free on the big day because they handled everything! Shannon went above and beyond for us and for this we will always be grateful. -

YOU WILL NOT MEET ANYONE MORE ORGANIZED! I found Shannon on the knot in the beginning stages of wedding planning to find out she had a large following and quickly set up a phone appointment because obviously she books up quick! After a 15 minute intro call she had already made me more than convinced she was the perfect person to help us plan our big day! Nothing was overwhelming in the process and the recaps she will set up with you will ease all your wedding stress! For two people who work over 60 hours a week (my husband and I both) were truely SO lucky to have Shannon and her team. I mean from helping the rehearsal dinner logistics to shoving last minute pomegranates in her truck for table decor just for that extra little detail you needed she really has it all down! And to make you feel stress free in the process? She makes me want to get married again! -

I don’t even know where to begin! Shannon and her team are absolutely exceptional! They are incredibly talented, creative, and passionate about what they do. They are the total package! We hired Shannon with seven months left to planning our wedding. Our florist, Sue Davis from Fresh Designs Florist, highly recommended Shannon. From the moment I met Shannon, I knew she was exactly what I… I mean “we” needed! :) She really listened to what I was saying and took my vision to a whole new level!
Shannon has been in the wedding planning business for many years and let me tell you it shows! She is so knowledgeable about the entire process and she is one of the most hardworking, professional and creative individuals that I have ever known. I am not very organized and get easily frazzled/stressed out, but Shannon was attentive, calming and reliable throughout the entire process, which allowed me to relax. I always felt confident and reassured that she and her team had everything under control. I trusted Shannon so much with my vision that I had her pick out options for the flower girl dress and the color scheme for my bridal party. The color scheme was amazing and the girls received endless compliments on the colors/dresses. Shannon met with us multiple times throughout those seven months. She always kept us aware of each task that had to be completed and when it needed to be completed by. Can we also talk about her wedding software program?! A wedding organization heaven! It was straightforward and organized all of our wedding priorities down to the day of. I also really appreciated that Shannon wanted to make sure that each wedding she planned was original and fit each couples style. She is so creative that every time I met with her and her team, she had a new and wonderful idea. She is the one that put the Prosecco truck on the map and my wedding was the guinea pig!
The day of our wedding, everything came together seamlessly. Shannon and her team had everything under control so we could relax and enjoy our day. It took a village to create such an incredible and memorable weekend. Shannon made sure all of the vendors knew what they were doing that day in order to transform our venue into an absolute dream come true. The venue looked so beautiful, it brought me to tears!
Last, but not least, I have to give a big shout out to Shannon’s amazing team, Michelle and Erin! Shannon had two weddings on the same day as ours. She left us in such great hands with her trusted associates, Michelle and Erin! They were so professional, calming, organized, and so much fun to be around. They did a phenomenal job and made sure the day ran smoothly and on time. Michelle was our on-site coordinator and Erin was by my side throughout the day. They were so attentive, kind, helpful, and anticipated any and every need we had throughout the day. We want to give a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to Shannon, Michelle and Erin for truly making our whole wedding experience from start to finish the most unforgettable and wonderful experience. We couldn’t recommend a more perfect and talented team than these three women. You all are the best!
