Right after I got engaged, one of the first vendors I called was Shannon. She was my sisters month-of planner and I remember how amazing she was and knew I wanted her to be apart of my special day. I did her month-of planning service. However, she does so much more than just a month-of. She helped with vendor recommendations, advice, and when some crisis's arose, she jumped right in to help. She listens to what you want and really cares to make your day special. She is so aware of detail, which is so important in a wedding!! I know my day would not have been the same without her and I can't thank her enough. I was so calm the day of my wedding and was really able to just enjoy myself. I trusted her completely and that is rare and so valuable in a planner, and person. -

Coming from the groom's perspective I highly recommend investing in a wedding planner/designer because it will take off so much of the stress of planning the biggest party you've ever thrown. Seriously, there are a lot of questions like "what color napkins do you like" and "wow catering is expensive, should we just elope?" but Shannon is there to help you answer all the questions, find budget friendly options and most importantly help your bride answer that first question - which otherwise you might get asked 100 times if you don't hire a planner. ;) Shannon's wedding design is nationally recognized in publications, her professionalism is first class and her wedding coordination is a must considering how smooth/fun she makes the entire experience. The amount of time and energy she puts into the DIY designs (see our table board pic), vision board (your bride will know what that is) and your day exceeds any cost she could charge you - such a value. If you want a happy wife and happy life, hire Shannon Rose Events and then sit back and enjoy the best, biggest party of your life.

Lauren Sent on 08/16/2016The first time I met with Shannon to discuss her wedding planning services I was very impressed. She was SUPER organized and very detail-oriented—a huge relief to this very overwhelmed teacher! Shannon and I went through a very detailed timeline of the wedding day. She provided great insight into what works and what doesn’t. She sent us “homework” to finalize the parts of the ceremony and reception that we still weren’t sure about at the time of the meeting and recommended vendors. This was such a great way to keep my husband and I on track and not miss any of the details. At our final meeting, Shannon and I did a walk through of our reception venue. She created a floor plan that helped us maximize the floor space as well as our budget for flowers and décor. Between meetings, Shannon and I were in constant communication via email, phone, and text. Our wedding ceremony and reception went perfectly! They worked SO well within the parameters of our wedding ceremony venue coordinator despite a lot of differences, and kept everyone calm and everything flowing. They took care of EVERYTHING (room and décor set up, clean up, pacing, music) and NOTHING changed their smiling faces! I can’t tell you how many times my husband has raved about her or how many compliments I received on how well the ceremony and reception went. We were able to thoroughly enjoy our wedding day because of Shannon and her team. I completely forgot to mention how beautiful our bouquets and floral arrangements were… Of course, Shannon designed them!
