Ryan Sent on 12/22/2017Shannon was extremely easy to work with throughout the whole process, between all of the planning leading up to the wedding as well as on our wedding day. With having some many items to think about for the big day and being stressed out, having Shannon as our photographer made our lives so much easier. We were stress free when it came to our photos and coordinating everyone day of. She was great with us from start to finish, incorporating all of our visions. Our photos came out amazing with a very good turnaround time! You can tell she loves what she does and that made the experience even better. I would recommend Shannon to anyone looking for a great photographer!

The best around, hands down.
Words can't even describe home much we LOVE Shannon and her work. When we were looking for our wedding photographer, personality was extremely important to us and let me tell you, Shannon has an amazing one. She is kind and sweet but knows how to take charge and always has your best interests at heart. From our first Skype meeting, Owen and I knew she was the one. Our engagement shoot was beyond amazing - she captured us perfectly and was able to use tons of natural light. I instantly felt comfortable with her. Shannon was there every step of the way as we planned our wedding (and I will be honest - i texted/emailed/frantically called a ton of times and she was always there to talk me through everything). On the day of, Shannon and Charlie seriously made the day run so so so smoothly while still making sure we got all of the shots we requested. The ones I have seen so far are INCREDIBLE and I am so excited to see more and relive the big day all over again. Do yourself a favor and snatch Shannon up to photograph any of your big life events - I can guarantee you will be happy you did. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she fit right in with our crazy family and one of my favorite memories of my wedding is taking a minute to dance with her - I truly feel she was a guest who happened to also have a camera. Shannon does great work and this is only the beginning for her! -

Before we got married, the best photo ever taken of my wife and I was by Shannon when we were guests at a friend’s wedding. It was an amazing - and quite telling - realization. If Shannon can capture a beautiful, personal photo of us when all we were to her were two random guests dancing, there’s no telling what she can do when it’s actually our wedding day! It’s no surprise that from our engagement shoot, all through our wedding ceremony and reception, Shannon continued to create stunning shot after stunning shot. As a vendor/partner, she is a breeze to work with, leading up to the event and during it; she’s as organized, detail-oriented, and focused on flow as a wedding planner. When she is shooting, she makes you feel relaxed and strikes the perfect balance between being jovial and keeping everyone on schedule. It is just so fun to get your photo taken by Shannon! Hiring her (and her husband Charlie as a second shooter) is essential and ensures that no moment - however small - goes uncaptured. The fact that they can do all this while being gentle, careful, and feeling like genuine friends is why they are special. -

I cannot emphasize enough how talented Shannon is! On our "getting to know you" zoom meeting, she made us laugh with her fun and outgoing personality and asked tons of questions (most of which we didn't have the answers to)- which ultimately was super helpful because she helped us create our day-of timeline for the wedding and planned all of our family photos to make sure we got pictures with everyone! Shannon is so organized and experienced, which was very helpful for my husband and I because we haven't attended many weddings.
Our first experience working with Shannon was at our engagement photoshoot. We instantly felt so comfortable with Shannon due to her jokes and silly ways of getting us to laugh with each other. The pictures were gorgeous, featuring a beautiful sunset on a mountaintop!
For our wedding day, we opted to add Shannon's husband Charlie to take pictures as well. This was such a good decision because while I was getting pictures with my bridesmaids, Charlie was taking our details shots. And during our first look, Charlie was able to capture my face, while Shannon captured my husbands. They make a very great team and our guests loved interacting with them! All of the photos are stunning and I couldn't have asked for a better day! Thanks Shannon and Charlie! -

From the initial meeting that we had; we knew Shannon was going to be our photographer for the wedding. She went above and beyond before any contracts were drawn. She helped us create a timeline for the wedding, explaining to us how these events usually unfold, and we utilized that same timeline to create our final schedule.
Onto the wedding day itself, we do not think it could have gone better. Shannon and her husband Charlie added to the ambiance in the bridal and groomsmen suites capturing moments we will cherish. Their efficiency to get through immediate and extended family photos was amazing, giving us more time to ourselves. Shannon’s Spanish skills also made her perfect for us as she was able to communicate in our family’s preferred language increasing her efficiency and making everyone comfortable to take great pictures.
Shannon also delivered the entirety of the wedding photos barely a week after the event and we could not be happier with the quality of the photos. We thank you Shannon & Charlie and hope this review can help anyone make an informed decision for their wedding.

Working with Shannon was amazing. She was responsive, organized, and hilarious. We ended up wanting the reschedule our engagement photoshoot because the foliage wasn't ready and it wasn't an issue finding a new time with her. On our wedding day she was timely and helped guide us through the day. It was so helpful to have her with us. She even went to get my sweater for me when it got cold and I didn't even ask. My husband hates getting his picture taken but Shannon worked her magic and our engagement and wedding photos came out fantastic! We are SO happy with the pictures and were very excited to share them. I highly recommend her!!! -

If you are looking for someone to not only capture your day perfectly, but also someone you can rely on to make sure your day goes smoothly and stress free, Shannon is absolutely who you should go with. From our first meeting with Shannon, we knew that she was the person we wanted with us on our big day. Shannon is a joy to be around and makes you feel 100% comfortable when taking your shots. She even includes an engagement shoot in her wedding packages so you can comfortable with her and the various poses she will put you in on your big day.
Not even 24 hours after our day, Shannon provided us with incredible sneak peaks and also got back our full album to us in a timely manner. Our wedding album captures our day perfectly. Shannon got every angle, captured not only fantastic portraits but many candids, and even got on the floor while we were dancing to capture so many fun shots! She handled family dynamics and the timeline of the day with ease and was a huge reason why I had a smile on my face the whole day! I highly recommend Shannon, she is 100% the type of person that you want with you on your wedding day!

We hired Shannon to shoot our wedding in the Berkshires and were incredibly happy with the experience. We would definitely recommend her services!
Shannon was a pleasure to work with from our first call together up through the actual wedding day. She’s friendly, a truly skilled people person (she quickly learned all the names of our family members), and clearly sees herself as part of your team on your wedding day (I didn’t take her up on it, but she even gamely offered to help hold my train in the bathroom). She was an incredibly positive presence and really helped put us and our families at ease.
Perhaps most importantly, Shannon captured truly beautiful candid and staged photos in both color and black-and-white. She also took lovely photos of the setting, including the ceremony site, reception tent, and other decor. For our couple photos, she shot us in several locations and permutations (standing still v. walking, looking at each other v. looking at the camera, etc). I found it difficult to know ahead of time which shots of us I would want, and I’m now happy to have so many different photos of us to choose from.
We opted to add Shannon’s husband, Charlie -- who is also a photographer -- for a flat rate. While it’s tough to tell exactly what Shannon v. Charlie captured, it felt like great value. My sense is that together they were able to capture many more candid moments of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception than Shannon could have captured just on her own (particularly because we went with only a 5.5-hour package, as opposed to an 8-hour package). I expect that adding Charlie would be even greater value if you want getting ready photos for each spouse.
There are a few things I would recommend keeping in mind if you hire Shannon: She shoots a lot of weddings so it’s worth reminding her of the specific shots you want a few days before the wedding (e.g., we had emailed a month before and asked if she could take a photo of each table at the reception, but this ended up falling through the cracks). Also, don’t be afraid to speak up if you have preferences that deviate from how she typically shoots (e.g., we had reservations about doing traditional “first look” photos, but ultimately went along with Shannon’s suggestions. As a result, the “first look” photos look a bit forced -- but I’m sure that if we had spoken up ahead of time, Shannon would have adapted). -

I cannot say enough about how happy my husband and I are that we hired Shannon as our photographer. We have had so much fun with her, every step of the way. Not only are her pictures beyond gorgeous, but she is an exceptional professional. Like many, we had to shift our wedding plans this year because of Covid. Shannon worked with us to capture the most important moments of our day, and use her time with us most effectively.
We were blessed with beyond gorgeous sunshine, but this meant shifting where we took photos because of shadows and people. Shannon was quick to communicate with us and our bridal party so we all knew what was happening. She remained calm, even when we were a little behind, and helped calm my nerves immensely. We also hired a second photographer (her husband Charlie) who so graciously walked around our venue trying to locate my Dad who got a little lost. Shannon and Charlie make an incredible team, and it truly makes a difference having both of them. Charlie was able to fix/focus on little details, so Shannon could get as many shots as possible (and believe me she did).
We wanted sunset photos and had a few ideas where to take them, Shannon and Charlie drove ahead to scope out the lighting so we didn’t have to rush around. Taking photos with her was so fun and felt natural because we were just laughing the whole time. Many members of our family and bridal party also noted how much they loved her personality! As I said earlier, her pictures are incredible. She shared a few sneak peaks and I could not stop looking at them. Shannon also did a great job of communicating her editing timeline and getting them back to us as soon as possible. We got them just over a month later, which is so fast! We got photo gifts for everyone for Christmas, and they were a big hit. We truly cannot thank Shannon (and Charlie) for everything that they did, and these beautiful photos we will treasure forever.

Amazing experience
Shannon was so prepared, yet was also so flexible, she listened to all my family’s crazy photo requests but always had Cody and I in priority. She made Cody and I comfortable which made picture taking smooth and fun! Multiple guests and family members approached me to tell me how she really was great at what she did. We also had her husband come which was so helpful. I definitely recommend getting her and her husband because together they make a great team! She also got the photos back to us quickly and took so many amazing pictures! Overall, we had an amazing experience with her. -

We are so glad we hired Shannon to be our wedding photographer! She was easy to communicate with, organized, and so fun to work with. She had no problem herding our families into place for group photos, made it through our shot list, and seamlessly worked the reception to capture great candids of just about every guest. One of the best parts of our wedding was definitely Shannon and Charlie! From the very first moment we met with Shannon she was a ray of sunshine, so happy, and made you feel very comfortable. My husband and I are one of those awkward people that do not feel comfortable getting our pictures taken and Shannon was able to bring the best out in us and even managed to make us look good! Not only were Shannon and Charlie our photographer but they also helped in many more ways like setting up and making sure people were in the right place. After the wedding was over our family kept telling us how much they loved our photographer and they made our day so much easier. -

Absolutely loved working with Shannon!
I highly recommend Shannon to be your wedding photographer! She did an absolutely amazing job, both with our engagement photos and wedding day! From detail shots to portraits, the photos came out so beautiful. She was extremely nice and you could tell that she cares about her clients and ensuring that their day is memorable! With COVID-19 and all of the regulations, Shannon took the time to make sure that we were comfortable and safe, and she took all of the necessary precautions when photographing our day. Shannon was very professional, and she really captured the most beautiful moments on our wedding day. Our families have told us how wonderful she was and were very impressed with her photography. From our first meeting to the day our photos were ready, working with Shannon was easy and fun. We had a very small wedding, and Shannon was able to provide us with a custom package to fit our needs and budget. She was always quick to respond with any questions we had, and her online portal made communication and payments even easier.
On the day of the wedding, Shannon went WAY above and beyond by helping me get into my dress (it was a bit more than she anticipated 😂). She also was amazing at keeping track of time to make sure things flowed smoothly. Throughout the ceremony and reception, she was friendly, extremely patient, and professional but we never felt like she was “in the way.” She has such a great personality that she felt more like a friend and guest than a vendor.
The final product was amazing. I was astounded by the sheer volume of photos that she took. It literally took over an hour just to look through them all. And they were all so lovely. She captured moments we never would have thought of. I look at my photos often, and realize I always have a big smile on my face each time. Thank you so much, Shannon! -

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Shannon for both our wedding and engagement photos! Shannon is incredibly responsive, flexible, and super fun to be around. She always made us feel comfortable and relaxed, which ultimately made for very natural and beautiful photos. The photos capture different sides of us – romantic, silly, nervous, excited – and they feel like a true representation of our day. Beyond expectations!
Working with Shannon has been nothing short of a joy and a privilege! She is truly a skilled photographer and the quality of her work speaks for itself in the images she crafts. Our wedding photos are absolutely breathtaking and capture the love of that day perfectly.
More than that, she just is a kind and funny human being that is a pleasure to work with! After our wedding, we literally had several different family members ask us how we knew Shannon, asking "Is she a friend of yours? I felt like I knew her!" because that's just the kind of person Shannon is. She made everyone so comfortable and our pictures came out that much better because it was like hanging out with a friend. Shannon went above her role and helped direct the flow of our wedding and made sure that it was as stress free as possible. The level of professionalism, heart, and humor that she brings to her work makes it inevitable that we will work with her again in rhe future. -

Shannon was amazing. She helped us come up with a schedule and a photo list that hit all of our goals and let us enjoy the day. She absolutely killed it with the pictures. I cannot wait to get the rest back. She had a sneak peak of 28 pictures available to us two days after the wedding! Shannon really took care of me. She took my veil and bouquet right after pictures so I could join the cocktail hour. I have a huge family and she got all of our pictures done so fast! We hired her husband Charlie to be the second shooter and he was also great! The two of them got so many pictures of the night, candids and posed shots. One of my guests told me the next day that Shannon took her cell phone to take her and her husband's picture so they would have them right away. I have never heard of a photographer doing that. It was so thoughtful! We loved having Shannon and Charlie at our wedding and highly recommend them! -

Shannon is amazing! Not only did she come through for us last minute when COVID changed our wedding plans but SHE WAS A ROCKSTAR. I had so many people compliment me on my choice of a photographer! Shannon is the kind of photographer that you want there on your big day: she is present but not overwhelming; she's engaged but not pushy; she's not afraid to tell your grandparents what to do and where to stand but she's so dang sweet. Wedding Photos
Shannon and her husband, who acted as a second shooter, photographed our wedding this past June. In addition to providing us with beautiful photographs, Shannon was also incredibly friendly and organized. There was a bit of confusion surrounding the contract early on in the process, but Shannon was always quick to communicate and eager to get things straightened out. About a week before the wedding, we walked through the day together and she drew up a timeline to help make sure we would be able to fit in all of the photo ops we wanted. Our pictures were ready between 7-8 weeks later and a couple have already made their way into frames on our mantel. Overall, we were very happy to have had Shannon help capture the day for us. -

Shannon is truly AMAZING at what she does. Her photography captured the "story" of our day so well - it's been a joy looking through our photos and seeing so many little moments we didn't realize were happening all arounds us! And aside from the gorgeous photography, she also managed to (1) learn ALL the names of our extended friends and family (!?!!!) to help direct everyone very kindly and efficiently, including small and inquisitive children, (2) helped keep us on schedule, (3) helped my maid of honor bustle my gown, and (4) provided recommendations and affirmations during some unexpected last minute changes! Plus, we are SO grateful we got to work with her equally talented and kind husband Charlie, too! We (and our families and guests) absolutely loved working with Shannon and Charlie and would not hesitate to hire them again!!! -

Best photog for best day
Shannon shot our wedding this past Saturday (6/9) and to be honest, five stars doesn’t even cover how thrilled I was to have her and Charlie there. Shannon took the most beautiful, romantic, delicate pictures of myself and my husband. She was also my extra set of hands, a coordinator, director, and my advocate making sure everything went off without a hitch. We have been married for half a year now and I still look at my wedding photos at least once a week (understatement). We are so grateful for Shannon and Charlie and the high quality photos they have given us to remember our wedding day with. Best decision! -

Shannon is truly a gem, she found the perfect balance between being professional and warm. She put our group at ease, and knew exactly how to make us, our family members and our friends feel comfortable and joyful, resulting in beautifully composed yet very natural portraits. This continued through our ceremony and reception, where she magically got incredible shots without being intrusive. Shannon is truly talented and gets amazing results, I cannot recommend her enough!
