So wonderful!

Jessica was amazing in helping get the day prepared! The was super responsive to all of our emails. She accommodated our needs beyond expectations! The day was perfect! Thank you! We only had our ceremony there but it was so perfect! Would be beautiful for both ceremony and reception as well!

Beyond ~ 5 Stars

I can not recommend Shangri-La enough! Cindy is an amazing and generous Event Coordinator! My sons wedding was there 2-15-20. This venue is BEYOND GORGEOUS! Bridal suite, the restaurant all organic foods, etc. They over accommodated what we needed, above & beyond. I would give them 5+ star rating.

Thank you so much Cindy & Shangri-La staff. I am very pleased to say I was the day of coordinator for a wedding on 2/1/2020. It was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are kept up so nicely, all staff is helpful and friendly. There was a lot of communication back and forth between myself and the venue manager, Cindy. She was really great! I can’t wait to do more weddings here! If you are looking for a venue with charm, class and natural beauty - Shangri La is the place.

Hidden Gem of a Venue

We loved having our wedding at Shangri-La Springs. Growing up in Southwest Florida I feel like this is a hidden gem that not many know about. About two months after we signed with Shangri-La Springs management changed, but we were in great hands with Cindy. She was flexible with us and answered all of our questions. She helped to ensure that our wedding day was beautiful and just what we envisioned.

Beautiful wedding

My husband and I just got married this past weekend and...WOW. It was truly a dream come true! Everything was absolutely perfect - from the venue itself to the staff who helped. Cindy was beyond awesome the entire wedding planning process and was very accommodating. Shangri-La Springs is overall a GORGEOUS venue and I highly recommend booking your wedding here!

AMAZING Experience!

We had our wedding at Shangri La Springs in January and it was perfect! We really fell in love with the beauty of the venue when we visited! The staff was amazing, they were very responsive and made sure everything was ready to go prior to the day. We met about 3 weeks before and went over everything and made sure we were all set! On the day off we had more people than expected and as soon as I found out Jane had already handled it! All staff was friendly and welcoming! Some of our guests have lived here for many years and had no idea we had such a "hidden gem" in Bonita Springs! The day was better than I had imagined and I know everything went so well because of our amazing vendors!!

Stunning venue and incredible staff

The Shangri-la is a GEM of a venue in Southwest Florida. The property is incredibly beautiful and well kept. Zawi and the team are professional, kind, and everything you need when planning a dream wedding. We felt so lucky during the planning process to be working with such wonderful people. Our wedding day was fun, beautiful, memorable, and smooth thanks to the Shangri-la.

Beautiful venue!

Zawi and Lee thank you for all did to make Courtney and Isaac's wedding day perfect! Even the weather cooperated. The property could not have looked more beautiful during the ceremony and then at night under the twinkle lights and stars...just stunning. The wedding was the perfect mix of sophistication and nature's beauty! And an awesome party! The Shangri La is the perfect place to celebrate, loved it!

Flawless in every way

Shangri-La can not be experienced from a far. You have to be there to feel the love. You have to meet the people that make the grounds that much more amazing. Jane and Zawi and Justin went above and beyond for our wedding and we are so grateful to have met them. Bobby and I had to switch our wedding to this location at the last minute due to the red tide.. it was no easy feat with short notice but Jane and Zawi were as excited as we were from the start and helped us through every detail. We loved going there in preparation because they felt like friends and by the time the wedding was over I had laughed and cried with them- more than once. All I wanted was to get married in front of the tree.. at the start of the would be ceremony the sky opened up and it POURED!!!! They knew how important that location was to us and they went above and beyond to make it happen. They through tarps over the chairs, they moved all the decor.. we waited an hour and then they wiped every chair in preparation for the ceremony I dreamt of and because of them it was perfect! Zawi said she loves Shangri-La after the rain and said it makes all the colors pop. I thought she was just trying to make me feel better about the torrential downpour- but she was right. We got some awesome pictures - and a rainbow!!!!!! Zawi and Jane make that place 100 times more special - and it is ridiculously special already!! I love everything about Shangri-La! And i love everything about the spirit of those two ladies! I would really like to keep this place a secret because that is part of why i think it’s so incredible- but it deserves to be explored.. This will always be my favorite place!!!

185 guests attended my wedding in April. The ceremony and reception were held at Shangri la. All was beautiful and went perfectly. Zawi and her staff did an excellent job coordinating with my vendors and making my special day perfect!

Shangri La was the location of countless dates when my husband and I were still dating. After months of enjoying the grounds as a part of dating life, Shangri La was also the location of our engagement. My husband and I didn't even discuss another venue, we knew the magic of Shangri La had to be a part of our magical day. Working with Zawi was a dream come true. She made sure everything was taken care of and the day ran so smoothly.

Zawi
Thank you and your staff for making our Wedfest not only one of the best experiences for me and Odie, but
still the talk of the town. Everything was just perfect. We are hoping that we can have our one year anniversary
party there as well!

Heading back north for the Holidays, but when I get back in January I expect that Odie and I will make every effort
to attend some of the scheduled events there.

I absolutely loved Shangri La Springs!! My guests had such a fun time walking around the grounds. We got married under the giant Mysore Tree and it provided shade and a sense of peace while we were saying our vows. The outdoor courtyard by the pool provided an amazing dance floor with a gorgeous backdrop. My photographer loved it because there was so many spots to do photos and got to spend more time with guests because we didn't have to travel elsewhere for pictures. It really is everything you could want in a venue. The bridal party got ready on site so the photographer didn't have to go to two different spots and everyone could relax in the spa and just hang out. The spa even has a hidden courtyard that you can go and hang out in for lunch. The boys got ready in the presidential suite and just talked and spent time together. The staff was so kind helping people find the ceremony site and welcoming them in. I really loved working with Zawi and the girls in the gift shop. I couldn't have asked for a better venue. If your looking for the venue that has literally everything you could ask for, this is it.

I LOVE THE SHANGRI-LA SPRINGS! One week before my wedding I had to move my outdoor venue due to severe weather forecasts to a new venue, but I wanted something with an outdoor feel (like my old venue) but also had an indoor back up plan. I was so stressed and nervous that I wouldn't like Shangri-La, but when I walked onto their property with the guide of my wedding planner (CocoLuna Events) and caterer (Artichoke and Company) I felt an enormous relief fall onto me and I felt easy for the first time in the weeks leading up to my wedding. The staff was AMAZING, and so caring, and so nice, and so polite. I just couldn't believe how soothing the location, their staff and the overall feel of the venue made me feel. I would say moving our venue to Shangri-La Springs was a blessing in disguise! It really made our wedding day super special to be in such a gorgeous setting.

We were able to use the Spa area to get ready, and my girls were able to use the Sauna and showers before getting ready, and I ordered my husband and I massages before we got married. It was such a wonderful and relaxing day for everyone. The weather did not keep us down!

If you can get married at the Shangri-La - DO IT!

Shangri La Springs - A Hidden Gem

We attended a wedding at Shangri La years ago, so when it was time to look for our own wedding venue, we knew Shangri La would be perfect. If you’re into nature or you’re looking for an old, historic hidden gem- this venue is an absolute dream. The setting is gorgeous and the property has several different areas and options to choose from. We had our reception at the back of the property at the gazebo, cocktail hour at the mermaid fountain, and our reception in the courtyard. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical venue!

Beautiful summer wedding

After two postponements we finally hosted our wedding at Shangri-La in July 2022. Tracy was wonderful to work with and so patient with us. Our guests stayed onsite at the hotel which was very convenient and made the event feel extra personal. The grounds are immaculate and provided a beautiful backdrop for our wedding. We had the ceremony and reception indoors so we didn’t have to worry about rain or heat. But, if I had one critique it would be that the Octagon Room does not have adequate air conditioning for an event and remained hot throughout the evening.

Had a beautiful ceremony and reception at Shangri-La! Zawi was available by email when needed and did her best to get back in a timely manner. Most venues include rooms to get ready in and the whole facility in the fee, however, we were told that additional parties could have been going on at the same time. Thankfully that was not the case so we had the place to ourselves. All in all we had a perfect day and I am so excited to get our photos as the grounds are beautiful! Thank you!

Gorgeous Venue

Excellent location for outdoor or indoor wedding. The grounds are beautiful. If the weather doesn’t cooperate then you have 2 inside options to fall back on.

Overall, I would recommend this venue to someone else. The staff was nice, and it photographed beautifully! However, I would caution them to be prepared for some slow communication. Especially if you aren't using a wedding planner. There were a number of stressful mistakes the office apologized for on their end. However, the end result was wonderful; if you don't mind spending a little extra time communicating I'd say it's an affordable option!

Beautiful but staff changed.

Unfortunately Cindy and Jessica no longer work here so they do not coordinate weddings here. Unfortunately, service went downhill. The grounds and buildings are beautiful but new event coordination is poor.

TERRIBLE people to work with! Communication TERRIBLE! Professionalism TERRIBLE! If you like over paying for things then this is the place for you! You will get better service from a Hotel venue! We had to supply our own garbage cans of all things, and didn't know it until the wedding was underway! They double booked the venue. Let the other party drink our booze and eat our deserts! The preferred caterer said it was OKAY, I have witnesses to all of this. Go to Shangri-La face book page to read the whole experience from my kids review. Save yourself a lot of stress stay away from this venue!
