  Impeccable!

  Ellen truly took our vision and went ABOVE AND BEYOND on executing an amazing wedding and event through postponement and a global pandemic! I had so much fun "creating" an even with Ellen that truly left an impression on our guests. I was hopeful I'd be able to find a wedding planner that would be able to envision exactly what I had in mind, and Ellen was just that! I cannot recommend her enough!

  Ellen and her team were amazing throughout the entire planning process. Ellen's experience and knowledge helped us to make the best decisions possible and in turn create the most magical night of our lives. No detailed was spared. We could not have done this without the help of her and her team. We were able to enjoy every minute of the day/night without worrying about the details.

  Ellen is Amazing!

  We hired Ellen to help us plan our October 2019 wedding. We knew she was the 'one' to help because she did my sister's wedding 10 years ago. Her experience and knowledge of the industry, vendors and recommendations on how we could make our day the best day it could be was exactly what we needed from someone. When it came to the "day of", we literally had no hiccups along the way (or at least I wasn't made aware of anything). This wouldn't have been possible without Ellen's help! She's the best in the biz!

  Perfect Wedding Day

  Ellen was a wonderful "day-of coordinator" for my daughter's wedding. She started designing a detailed time-line of the wedding day weeks in advance. This greatly helped the couple to stay organized and to not leave decisions to the last minute. The wedding day was truly perfect because of this schedule and our knowing Ellen was there to help if any issues occurred. It also allowed the couple, and her mom and dad, to have fun instead of having to worry about the many details on the wedding day. Give yourself a huge gift and make Ellen the first vendor you hire to help plan your wedding.

  Spectacular!!

  Our wedding was every brides dream thanks to Ellen and her team! I wish I could relive this day every year and can’t thank ShaFox for all the coordination and planning that went into making our day so special. It was everything and more that we wanted!

  The absolute best in the business!

  We had the pleasure of working with Melissa & Emily on our "surprise wedding" last December and we couldn't have been happier with the process and the end result! They executed our vision flawlessly and recruited the best vendors for our special day! Melissa kept in contact regularly up until our wedding date (she even came to our tasting!) and was solely ours for the day before & day of our wedding. As someone who works within the industry, I work alongside a lot of wedding planners - but, the ShaFox team is the best in the business! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

  Stress Free Wedding Day

  They provided day of coordination services for my wedding on 9/15/18. They were fantastic to work with up until the day of the wedding. If Melissa or Emily were not available Ellen was always there to answer any questions. We had a brunch wedding so were they not only there the morning if they came the night before to get some things set up. Melissa and Emily took all the stress out of my the day of, exactly what I needed! I cannot recommend them enough for any planning or coordinating services! They helped make my wedding day perfect and I cannot thank them enough.

  Ellen and her right hand man (Lady) Melissa are amazing. My now husband and I originally interviewed a few wedding planners and coordinators in town and Ellen was immediately my first choice. She handled everything we needed in a timely manner and let my husband and I make decisions we both really wanted.   We were extremely pleased with how Ellen listened to and understood the feel of the experience we wanted to have for the wedding and reception. She directed us to the vendors that could get it done, and took care of all of the details, which allowed us to enjoy the day of celebration with family and friends.   Ellen and her team were seriously a god-send. I was left in a lurch after letting our original planner go. She stepped in 4 months before our 500 person Indian wedding and seamlessly fixed all the errors, arranged everything we had overlooked, and added an element of joy and comfort to what had become a very stressful situation. She has great relationships with numerous vendors, and got along well with the vendors we brought in from out of town. She is knowledgeable but most importantly, kind and understanding. My entire family felt at ease with her. We consider her a friend and recommend her very highly.

  When it comes to professional wedding planners in Louisville, you truly can't do better than Ellen and her team! Brides, do yourself a favor and write that check and hire Ellen. You won't be disappointed and wow, is she worth it! I am admittedly sort of a worrier and I only wish I had learned to trust her earlier in the process of our planning because she totally came through for us on everything, and then some....and we have pretty high expectations. She did 90% of the heavy lifting of planning our wedding so that we could enjoy our engagement and our special day! Nothing makes me more sad than to see a bride the day before (or even worse, the day of!) her wedding who is fretting over decorations, chairs, hotel guests, etc. You should be enjoying your day and your guests! No one likes a cranky and stressed out bride and groom. Show up to your reception and be surprised because Ellen has handled it all. The weather on the day of our wedding turned unusually cold and Ellen called to say she thought we might need heaters for the barn reception. Can you imagine the day before your wedding, trying to hunt down large heaters and coordinate all that? You should be visiting with your guests! Ellen handled it and our reception was just perfectly cozy when we arrived. Oh and take her advice when she advises you on proper etiquette. She is the Queen of etiquette when it comes to weddings....how to address envelopes, proper timing of the event, and how to graciously reply to the pesky family member that RSVP's for 10, when you only invited 2. Ellen is a planner, a therapist, a cheerleader and now we are lucky to call her a friend. Best wishes!

  I wasn’t from Louisville, and really needed someone to take over the entire event. Ellen was there from the first decision to the last. When a decision was made, she ran with it and took care of all the details. My day was perfect from beginning to end, ran on schedule and was beautiful! I didn’t worry for 1 minute.

  Ellen and her team helped us bring my daughter's "modern vintage, rustic chic" vision for her fall wedding at an outdoor/barn venue to life! We didn't know where to begin. During the interview/planning process, Ellen and her team shared many ideas and vendor suggestions that were "spot on" for our needs and budget...caterer, flowers, printed products, live music, DJ, chairs, photographer, videographer. We were not inundated with options. Her vast experience enabled her to hone in on my daughter's vision as she presented us with ideas that we developed and loved. She guided us through the planning process, keeping us on her "tried and true" schedule which helped minimize our stress and feelings of being overwhelmed at times. During the last two weeks prior to the wedding, we were checking things off the list with a great sense of assurance that all our plans were running smoothly. From our perspective, the wedding day was perfect! Burying that big bottle of bourbon, upside down thirty days out, delivered a perfect weather day! Ellen and her team thought of everything! We were well cared for! It was a delight and relief to be in such capable hands which enabled us to "live and love" the wedding day.

  Ellen and her team helped us bring my daughter's "modern vintage, rustic chic" vision for her fall wedding at an outdoor/barn venue to life! We didn't know where to begin. During the interview/planning process, Ellen and her team shared many ideas and vendor suggestions that were "spot on" for our needs and budget...caterer, flowers, printed products, live music, DJ, chairs, photographer, videographer. We were not inundated with options. Her vast experience enabled her to hone in on my daughter's vision as she presented us with ideas that we developed and loved. She guided us through the planning process, keeping us on her "tried and true" schedule which helped minimize our stress and feelings of being overwhelmed at times. During the last two weeks prior to the wedding, we were checking things off the list with a great sense of assurance that all our plans were running smoothly. From our perspective, the wedding day was perfect! Burying that big bottle of bourbon, upside down thirty days out, delivered a perfect weather day! Ellen and her team thought of everything! We were well cared for! It was a delight and relief to be in such capable hands which enabled us to "live and love" the wedding day.

  Did an excellent job!

  We hired Ellen for the month before our wedding and she and her team (Melissa and Emily and also Angela for printing) were absolutely amazing! They assisted with invitations/printing, coordinated a timeline for us and helped make sure that we secured our final payments, etc. We were all able to have a smooth transitioning day and did not have to stress about a thing. If there were any hiccups, we didn't know about them whatsoever because Melissa and Emily were on it before it even got to us. So grateful to have these ladies as part of our wedding family. We were extremely satisfied by their services!

  Ellen has a gift for making your vision into a reality- everything about our wedding day was absolutely perfect! I also can't say enough good things about the vendors that she has relationships with--- we asked her to connect us with a recommendation for florals, cake, and my dress alteration- so happy with how all three turned out.
  
  I did give her 4 stars instead of 5 on responsiveness and flexibility. She is in very high demand during both wedding and holiday season (for very good reason!!), so there may be compromise involved in aligning her schedule with yours. That being said, when she is devoting her time and attention to your event, everything is handled with the utmost organization and attention to detail.
