The best jeweler around
Shopping for an engagement ring can be incredibly intimidating. You’re preparing to spend a lot of money on something that you hope your significant other will like. You’re typically talking with salespeople who are trying to downplay the price tag and upsell you on differences unnoticeable to the visual eye. All the while, they’re trying every trick in the book to rush you to a decision.
Fortunately for me, I found myself in Serjeo’s shop in downtown Boston. He was the first jeweler to talk to me like a person and not just a customer. I wanted to make sure I was choosing the right things, so I took a while to shop around, do my research, and decide on the setting and the diamond. I went to his shop multiple times and emailed him back and forth for feedback and advice. He listened to me, understood what I was looking for (and my budget), and helped me create the perfect ring for my bride-to-be.
She was thrilled with the ring, and I was thrilled with the process of creating it. Serjeo went beyond making me feel comfortable, he made me feel like a friend. I am not typically one to be “loyal” to any store or brand, but I can confidently say that I have “my jeweler,” whom I have already gone back to for our wedding rings.

Serjeo is amazing! His craftsmanship is top notch. When my husband and I were looking at engagement rings, we really wanted to also find that jeweler that we could go to for years to come. We knew we found him when we met Serjeo for the first time. He's very friendly; works with you on not only budget but the look your aiming for; he's professional; and he really goes out of his way to teach you about diamonds and metal types. I feel like I've not only found a great jeweler, but also made a new friend.Serjeo is amazing! His craftsmanship is top notch. Bless Serjeo.
Professional. Friendly. Genuine.
Less than a week after I got my engagement ring sized by another jeweler, I had a bride-to-be's nightmare: a diamond had popped out! I was devastated, convinced it was my fault, and found Serjeo's business through Yelp to get it repaired.
First off, he is such a wonderful guy. He not only was genuinely interested in my story, but he was able to clearly explain why the diamond fell out in the first place. When the last jeweler resized it, he didn't tighten the prongs around the stones -- so when Serjeo touched the larger diamond, it moved! (And I wanted to throw up). He replaced the missing diamond and fixed the rest of them.
Honestly, my ring repaired by Serjeo looks better than it did in the box!
I had to wait a week for an appointment, but it was worth it -- I had my ring back on my hand in two days! And it cost much less than I anticipated. For engagement rings you want the best care, because they're so sentimental, and he gets that. He IS that.
10 out of 10 Chelseas recommend, I've already been raving to my friends. I plan on returning for my fiancee's and my wedding bands, and definitely for any repairs I'll need in the future (but I'm confident that this ring is safe for good!)Bless Serjeo.

We found Serjeo through yelp.com, and we are so lucky we did. Serjeo has played such an important role in our engagement and getting married. He books out pretty far in advance, so don't expect to get an appointment within a few days...THIS MEANS HE IS THAT GOOD!!! He only works by appointment so call or email. That is because he takes the time to sit down with you, get to know you, talk to you about what you envision and what you want. Then, with his years of experience and expertise, he creates something beautiful that exceeds your highest expectations.
Serjeo was able to take the stone fro my mother-in-law's engagement ring and create a gorgeous new engagement ring for me. My husband and I had looked at rings, and liked elements of many different rings, but Serjeo took the best of everything and created something so unique; nobody will ever have a ring just like mine, and that makes it even more special. Fast forward a year and we wanted to set a gem stone that my father had collected into my mother-in-law's engagement ring, have it cleaned and resized, and gift it back to her for Mother's day...Serjeo was able to do this for us within about a week or so and it turned out so beautifully.
THEN, he created a wedding band which goes perfectly with my engagement ring, and he included design details from the engagement ring into the wedding band. He has such a keen attention to detail.
Finally, he cleans, polishes, and treats your jewelry with rhodium as needed for life.

Serjeo is fantastic. He was willing to put up with all of my crazy requests and concern about making sure that the ring was perfect. Fortunately, his great reviews are well founded as the engagement ring was absolutely perfect. We also really enjoyed designing our wedding bands together. When it came to my engagement ring, I was incredibly picky. I spent hours looking at pictures and trying to figure out what I wanted. My friend recommended Serjeo. Upon our first meeting, we were highly impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. On top of that, he was one of the nicest people we have ever met.
After asking me a few questions, he was able to put together the most beautiful and unique engagement ring. It brought tears to my eyes. I was thrilled to finally wear it once my husband proposed.
When it was time to make our wedding bands, we instantly knew who to go to. Serjeo did not disappoint. He created beautiful bands that fit us as a couple. Squeezed us in to a busy season to get our wedding bands made to match an antique engagement ring. Did a fabulous job in a short amount of time and ultimately the price to us was only slightly more than purchasing from a "box store." Serjeo and his staff were extremely helpful and my now husband designed a spectacular non-traditional ring with his help. It's so beautiful! We were so satisfied we came back for our wedding bands that are so sparkly and amazing. Serjeo's work is wonderful. He worked with my Fiancé in designing my wonderful engagement ring, and was really great at listening to all my concerns when it came to our coordinating wedding bands. Seeing that I wasn't convinced with his suggestion (which of course turned out to be correct) and with infinite patience, he made my band stepwise so that I could see what each variation would look like in order to be more confident in the final product. My fiance had my engagement ring made by Serjeo, and I came to him to have a custom wedding band made. The rings are gorgeous-- I receive so many compliments on them, and his work is really flawless. He is easy to schedule an appointment with and he offers free ring cleanings, which is something I will definitely take advantage of a few times a year.
The only downside of our experience with Serjeo is that I felt my wedding band was a little expensive... I didn't feel as though I had many options in my desired price range. Serjeo is really wonderful. He helped my husband create my engagement ring, so I will always feel very grateful to him since I love my diamond! For our wedding rings, we went back to Serjeo who my husband knew pretty well, but I was just getting to meet. We were designing out own rings and Serjeo assured us that he would have them done a few weeks before our wedding so we could come in and make sure that they were what we wanted. With the summer rush of weddings, Serjeo was running very behind, even though we came to see him 5 months before our wedding. We also had to email several times to get an answer as to when they would finally be finished. Our wedding bands weren't ready until the morning before our wedding. Luckily, mine is gorgeous and both are exactly what we wanted. The craftsmanship on both are absolutely incredible. I really just wish that we had been able to be more actively involved and that they were ready when he stated they would be. Honestly though, we will still go back to Serjeo for our jewelry needs because he really does do an excellent job. I highly recommend avoiding Saturday appointments if at all possible - we went in a couple of times on a Saturday, and we waited close to a half an hour (at least) past our appointment time. We spent more time sitting on the couch on those days than we did in the office. Also, we met with Serjeo in May to discuss our wedding bands, and we were told multiple times that we'd have them by mid-September at the latest. When mid-September came and there was no word, we contacted them and were offered an appointment the week of our wedding. Since my husband's ring didn't fit when he'd tried it on the month before and all I'd seen was the wax model, we found that unacceptable.
