It’s honestly emotional writing this review because Simon and Sarah, the husband-and-wife team behind Seed & Spring Creative, captured our wedding day in a way that was beyond anything I could have ever imagined.
When I first started researching photographers and videographers, I had a very specific vision in mind. I wanted photos that felt warm, emotional, and cozy — true fall tones, not the bright and airy look that’s so common right now. I can’t even remember exactly how I found Seed & Spring — probably through a Facebook group or Instagram rabbit hole — but I’m so glad I did. Their aesthetic was exactly what I’d been searching for, and I loved that they were a husband-and-wife duo running their own small business. The story behind their name, rooted in their Christian faith, really resonated with me and my husband as well.
From the first meeting, Simon and Sarah were friendly, chill, and incredibly informative. They stayed that way through every step of the process. Simon shared examples of his past wedding films, and we were instantly drawn to his cinematic storytelling — it truly felt like watching a movie, and that’s exactly the kind of emotional storytelling we wanted.
Our package included an engagement session, and Sarah went above and beyond helping us prepare — from choosing the right location and outfits to thoughtfully reviewing my inspiration photos. That shoot turned out to be a turning point for us. Taking professional photos can be so awkward, especially since my husband isn’t a fan of being in front of the camera, but Sarah and Simon made it feel completely natural. They didn’t ignore the awkwardness — they laughed through it with us. Their humor and lightness turned what could have been uncomfortable into something genuinely fun. By the end of the session, they felt like friends, not vendors. The fact that they even treated us to dinner afterward just showed how much they care about connection, not just contracts.
Leading up to the wedding, their communication was flawless. They answered every question, accommodated special requests, and were sensitive to family dynamics — which meant a lot.
On the wedding day, they arrived early, kept everything on schedule, and handled the chaos with complete grace. Sarah struck that perfect balance between kindness and assertiveness — she managed the group shots efficiently without ever feeling pushy. Simon was like a ninja — everywhere at once, but never in the way. We honestly couldn’t believe how much he captured without us even realizing he was there.
Then came the photos and videos. Our preview photos arrived less than 24 hours after the wedding, and we were absolutely blown away. They looked like something out of a magazine — yet still felt so us. The teaser video was just as incredible. The music Simon chose fit our personalities perfectly, and everyone who saw it commented on how accurately it captured the mood and energy of our day.
More than anything else, Simon and Sarah managed to capture our personalities and those of the people we love. The candid moments, the laughter, the little in-between glances — they got it all. Their ability to read the room and capture genuine emotion is something rare and so special.
Simon and Sarah aren’t just talented; they’re genuinely good people. They brought calm energy, professionalism, and heart to one of the most important days of our lives. Their blend of warmth, confidence, and artistry made us feel completely cared for from start to finish.
We would hire them a million times over — and recommend them to anyone who wants their wedding captured with both beauty and heart.

Sarah and Simon were incredible from start to finish. We booked this dynamic duo for our engagement session and wedding day. They were easily one of the best vendor decisions we made! Our engagement pictures turned out amazing, which was a serious accomplishment since both of us are a bit camera-shy/awkward. Sarah made sure that no awkwardness came through in our photos, which was a serious accomplishment. Communication was great throughout the process. On the day of our wedding, Sarah and Simon showed up on time and were very professional despite some quirky characters in our family. During the ceremony and reception, I often forgot they were even there, yet the video and photos captured every important moment. They made a real effort to understand our vision, and more importantly, the vibe of our wedding and us as a couple. Overall, they captured it perfectly. To any of my friends getting married or engaged in Maine, I always recommend Seed & Spring. -

Megan and I know Simon and Sarah from our church, back when they were still living in Massachusetts. Simon and I used to play on the same worship band. During our conversations, I mentioned that I loved photography and hoped to get into wedding photography someday to help capture special moments for couples on their big day. As time went on, I had the opportunity to work with Simon and Sarah at a few weddings.
When I started planning our engagement, I instantly knew how much it would mean if Simon and Sarah could take our engagement photos and capture our wedding day. On the day of the proposal, they made everything feel so seamless. We began with what felt like a casual photoshoot, slowly working our way toward the waterfront, with the sea and the Portland Head Light in the background. They kept everything so calm and natural, never giving away a hint that a proposal was about to happen, all while helping pull off an incredible surprise.
When we received our engagement photos, we were over the moon. We loved the warmth and coziness they captured in early December. From that moment until our wedding in June 2025, those photos filled us with excitement about how our wedding would look. Throughout our engagement shoot and on the day of the wedding, Simon and Sarah supported us with preparations and helped us find the perfect locations for photos. My wife and I haven’t had much experience being professionally photographed, but they made everything so easy and helped us feel completely natural. They turned all our awkwardness into moments full of laughter and fun. When we received our sneak peek photos and video teaser, we were stunned by how perfectly they captured our day through their lens.
What stayed with us most was how beautifully Simon and Sarah told the story of our day. They didn’t just take photos — they noticed the moments we didn’t even realize were happening. The way our families laughed together, the little glances Megan and I shared, the joy on our friends’ faces — they preserved it all with such intention and care. Their presence was calm, reassuring, and genuinely uplifting. You can feel their kindness in the way they work. Instead of posing us into something unnatural, they created an atmosphere where we could simply be ourselves, and the results show it. Simon and Sarah didn’t just photograph our wedding — they poured their heart and talent into every moment. Their calm guidance and creative eye made us feel supported in ways we’ll never forget. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better team to preserve our day.

Sarah and Simon Stock are a great team. They were both so kind and calm at my daughter’s 8/23/25 wedding at Mills Falls by the Lake. They dealt with so many bridal party and family photos with calm professionalism. Our photos came out beautifully and we could not be happier. -

We were absolutely thrilled with both our wedding photographer and videographer, Sarah and Simon. From the very first meeting, to our amazing engagement photos, we knew they were the perfect fit for us, and they truly exceeded our expectations on our big day!
They took the time to really understand our vision and the specific moments we wanted captured. On the wedding day, they were professional, unobtrusive, and incredibly friendly, making us feel completely at ease. The candid shots they captured were beautiful, full of emotion, and really told the story of our day. We also loved the way they handled the posed group shots—efficient and fun, but still relaxed and natural. The quality of the photos is stunning, and we’re so grateful for how they captured both the small details and big moments. We’ve received so many compliments on our wedding album!
We couldn’t have asked for a better team. They were not only incredibly skilled at capturing every key moment, but they also had a knack for making the video feel cinematic without being over-the-top. The highlight video they created is absolutely breathtaking — it made us feel we were right back at the wedding. The editing was seamless, and the music choices were spot on, really enhancing the emotions of the day. The video truly included all the important moments from vows, speeches, our first dance, and parent dances. We’ve enjoyed reliving those memories through their lens. The drone shots were a beautiful addition, giving us a stunning aerial perspective of the venue.
Both Sarah and Simon went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. They worked seamlessly together and were so flexible, which made everything feel coordinated and smooth. Communication was always clear, and they made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. We couldn’t be happier with the final results and would recommend them to anyone looking for top-tier photography and videography services. They captured our day perfectly, and we’ll treasure these memories for years to come.

The Dream Team!
Sarah, Simon, and the Seed & Spring crew are truly the dream team! From our initial inquiry, to our engagement shoot, the meetings and emails leading up to our big day, and of course the footage they captured on our wedding day, they were incredible through it all. Photography and videography were super important to us, and after attending a friends’ wedding and seeing how great Sarah and Simon did, we knew we needed to book them. They’re professional, communicative and responsive, easy to work with, talented, and made us feel so comfortable. We can’t recommend them enough! 10/10 experience! :) -

We stumbled upon Seed & Spring by luck and chance. We were scrolling through videographers and their work and noticed a posted video of a couple that my wife and I went to college with. We thought what a small world, connected with that couple, and immediately reached out to Simon and Sarah. There was something beautifully cinematic about their wedding videos. One of my must-haves for the wedding was to have great videography. Being a film nerd, I really wanted our day to be documented in a way that honored our story and who we were. From our first meeting with Simon and Sarah, we knew immediately we wanted to book them. They were so down to Earth, kind, and extremely passionate about the work they do (just go look at their Vimeo page.) We wanted a video that really told a story, and wasn't just "the highlights" of the day. They even went so far as to ask us for personal videos and clips to edit into the video to further tell our story. They also used a song that our friend wrote and recorded for us, which is a highlight of the video. On top of all of this, when we asked if the video could be a little longer than they normally edit, they said yes without hesitation, and at no extra charge. The filming was superb and the editing is even better. When me wife and I sat down for the first time to watch the video, our jaws were on the floor with how exceptional the editing was. They seamlessly packed a 10-year love story into one video. They stayed the entirety of the reception, all the way to the final minute. We had a "Private Last Dance" with just the two of us, after all the guests cleared out. I jokingly looked at Simon and said "what are you still doing here?!" not realizing we had them for the entire night. They captured our private last dance when we didn't think we would have footage of it, and we'll thank them endlessly for providing this for us. On top of all of this, they also provided all raw footage of the ceremony, dances, and reception. Infinity thanks to Simon and Sarah for being the best of the best. I am so glad we came across them when we did. -

Exceeded our expectations!
Wedding Wonder exceeded our expectations! We hired Simon and Sarah for our wedding photographer and videography. Their pricing was extremely reasonable and what we were given is absolutely priceless! Their work is stunning and they were amazing to work with. They were calm cool and collected on our big day and I was so confident in them that they were capturing all of our special moments- which they did! I cannot say enough amazing things about Simon and Sara as our wedding videographer and photographer. My husband and I are camera shy people and get awkward and tense being photographed, much less recorded, so I could not believe how amazing the photos and highlight reel came out. Seriously, I woke up the next morning like omg I can’t imagine any of that came out good (because of me) and was immediately relieved when we got our sneak peek back the next day. That was absolutely thanks to Sara coaching us on how to pose. I was never left with a “wtf do I do with my hands” moment. Also, we got everything back SO quickly (within 4 weeks).
PHOTOGRAPHY: It’s hard to take everything in on your wedding day because there is so much going on and from the photos I could not believe how stunning the day and our surroundings really were. Sara did an amazing job capturing moments between my husband and I as well as with our loved ones, which was very important to us. I loved how she got photos of our guests partying too! It was wonderful to look back on that and see everyone having a good time.
VIDEOGRAPHY: I seriously can’t believe how the video came out. Simon created something so truly personal to us. The beginning of the video was so intimate, romantic and beautiful with voice overs from our vows and officiant. BTW the voice overs were SO clear. I’ve seen videos where the audio quality is trash and the quality was just amazingggg. The second part of the video I can only describe as a early 00s pop punk love song music video. It was so fun and so us. I sent the video to those who weren’t able to make it and the responses were all the same “WOW that was beautiful and I feel like I was actually there.” He also captured our guests partying too and it just makes me feel like I am reliving the day over and over again.
The last thing I will say is Sara was truly a blessing to have on our wedding day. Inevitably things are going to go off schedule (even if you are as Type A as me) and I kid you not the few times that happened Sara was right there absolutely cool calm and collected with 3 different options of what we could do. I deferred to her judgment every time and would do it all over again.

Sara and Simon were absolutely wonderful . We hired them for decor and videography and every single detail was beyond our wildest dreams- had we not previously signed with photography we would have had them do our whole day! Sara perfectly captured our vision and made sure all of the details were perfect. We are still receiving compliments on how stunning the decor was! And as far as the video, we received a teaser within a few days and our official video in two weeks and it has been one of the best things we have received. To be able to relive our day in a way that feels so authentic and to have it back so soon is such a treasure. We cannot recommend them enough!!! -

We hired Wedding Wonder (Simon and Sarah) as our wedding videographers. They were simply AMAZING to work with, both in advance and on the day of. They were always super responsive and listened to the vision we had for our video. We were originally hesitant about spending money on a video, but Wedding Wonder offered affordable options and made our decision easier. Now, looking back, we can't imagine not having our day captured on video. Sarah and Simon perfectly recorded every special moment of our day and every time we share the video with our family and friends there are lots of happy tears and laughter. Amazing photographer alert!
Sarah and Simon are nothing short of amazing! They made the whole process of getting our pictures taken seamless and even picked up on a few of the small details that I did not! One thing that I believe stood out is that they had many method's of capturing pictures that were natural and fun without looking to "pose-y". The turn around time was very quick and the pictures came out with beautiful quality. They were very responsive to my million questions and even went the extra mile by helping me with getting my pictures in a different format many weeks post-wedding. Thank you guys so much!

We were on the fence about whether or not to spend the extra money for a videographer. However, choosing Wedding Wonder was truly one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding! Sarah and Simon were so easy to work with throughout the entire process. They were very responsive, flexible, and receptive to our vision of the video, with the final product exceeding all of our expectations! We feel that Wedding Wonder was truly able to capture all the joy and silliness of our relationship, which also was reflected in our wedding day. They did such a beautiful job of overlaying the vows and toasts with a mixture of shots from throughout the day. We are so happy with our highlight video and with the raw footage of our ceremony, first dance, and toasts so we can relive our wedding over and over again! -

Sarah and Simon, the team behind Wedding Wonder, are incredible. My husband and I took a shot with a smaller business with better prices and we are so glad we did. Sarah and Simon completely exceeded our expectations for service, and for our wedding photos. They met with us a couple times before the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page, and they were incredibly organized. On the day of, that helped so much. Our photos are just....out of this world. We are so happy with them. And we got them back SO quickly. We were shocked, with nearly 1000 photos (though I'm sure the number itself varies depending on the event)! Sarah especially had this awesome energy and had us do funny things that yielded such fun photos! Simon and Sarah both captured such special moments and we had some unique things at our wedding that we wanted them to capture! I hoop-dance and do other flow art things and they captured my "performances" so well. Everyone is raving about them. We can't wait to get them printed and hung up. We will treasure them forever. Seriously, do not look any further. These are your people! -

From the moment I got engaged, I knew I wanted a video of the wedding, my fiance was not so convinced and was very much against the idea. We were engaged for 1.5 years and it was only 2 weeks before the wedding that I finally had him on board. I was nervous that we wouldn't find anyone in time but Simon and Sarah answered my email right away and promptly had a zoom call with us to finalize the details. The biggest thing my finance wanted was to not know he was being videoed and Simon did just that. He was a ninja, never in the way but always getting the shots. He was professional, showed up on time, and made sure he checked in with us when needed but otherwise was just shooting everything little thing he could. Halfway through the wedding my finance turned to me and say I am so glad we got video! We were both even more excited when we saw the final video and it took us back to that very special day including moments we didn't see originally! We love that we now have this to look back on whenever we want and can share with our future children. I highly recommend Wedding Wonder! -

I had the pleasure of using Sarah as a photographer at my bachelorette party! I asked her to take photos of my girls and I to help capture my bachelorette weekend! We are so lucky to have worked with Simon and Sarah for our wedding videography! They were flexible and thoughtful throughout the day despite several last minute changes, and they were somehow able to capture so many wonderful moments throughout the day while maintaining a subtle presence. They accommodated our music requests for our trailer and even sent us some extra footage!
