My family has been vacationing and visiting see canyon fruit ranch for many years. It was always a dream to be married here and it definitely lived up to the expectation. Absolutely beautiful venue and great customer service. If you get a coordinator through them, I highly recommend Elaine! She helped our day run absolutely smoothly! -

We were so grateful for the staff at See Canyon Fruit Ranch. Everything from planning ahead, touring the grounds, meeting with Elaine the wedding coordinator, preparing and decorating the venue, to the beautiful wedding and reception was PERFECT! The sunken Garden was the perfect setting, and with birds chirping pleasantly throughout the ceremony we felt we were in a fairy tale!
We used the upper area for appetizers while the staff transformed the lower garden into the reception area. Haute Skillet was our caterer, and Farmermaid Flowers did the bride's bouquet and provided all the flowers. We highly recommend this venue and staff for the wonderful setting and service! -

Wonderful Venue with Amazing People
We knew as soon as we stepped out of our car nearly 3 years ago that this was the perfect spot to host our family and friends. Paul and the Kenny family were the most accommodating and welcoming hosts and made communication and replanning due to COVID an absolute breeze. The venue is stunning and secluded in the best way with the SOFTEST lawn I've ever set foot on. We took advantage of the amazing orchards and gifted apples and pears to our guests as our wedding fell in the middle of the harvest. Lastly, if you have the wonderful opportunity to work with Elaine, take it. She made all of our wedding visions come to life and did it with a smile and the most positive attitude even when life threw us curve balls up until the last day. We adore her and hope we can work with her again in the future. -

We were so blessed to be married at See Canyon Fruit Ranch last August. The journey to that day was fraught with challenges due to COVID-19 restrictions, however, Johnny Kenny and the wonderful team at SCFR worked with us every step of the way.
When wedding receptions were banned and we knew we couldn’t have our big celebration at See Canyon, we debated whether to scrap doing our ceremony there too. We are so thankful we didn’t. See Canyon is an ethereal, serene place that spoke to my husband and me the moment we set foot on the grounds. It feels a little like Hawaii but also like the Eastern Sierra and very much like San Luis County. Being married under that stunning arch was a dream come true and our guests were blown away by the beautiful, lush setting. I will always treasure looking out from where I stood during the ceremony at our small collection of loved ones, beneath the cathedral of trees that encircle the property.
We are so grateful Johnny and the Kennys were willing to work with us and come to a compromise on pricing and services when we ultimately decided to hold a small post-ceremony gathering at a private residence instead of at See Canyon. This venue has a decades-long, stellar reputation in SLO County and we did not want to risk tarnishing that by having a disallowed event. Thank goodness the First Amendment protects wedding ceremonies!
If you are on the fence about having a wedding during COVID-19 but love the idea of being married at See Canyon, please at least have a conversation with Johnny and the Kennys about what is possible. If you move forward with booking SCFR, I know you have a gorgeous wedding ceremony and a fantastic experience. Thank you to the Kennys for making our dream day a reality. -

Jordan Sent on 09/13/2018The first great decision my husband and I made was choosing See Canyon Fruit Ranch as our venue. I saw pictures online of the ranch and thought it looked like the perfect low key venue. When you arrive you see a rustic and cute ranch with an awesome apple barn for tastings (my family loved indulging in the wonderful apples and nuts). There is also a brand new bar area, three nice new bathrooms, and an adorable bridal suite as well. When you make your way past the charming and picturesque structures, you find a lush garden at the bottom of a green lawn hill, overflowing with ferns and flowers with an altar tucked into some beautiful oak trees. It is seriously amazing. You get a beautiful secret garden and a rustic ranch all in one venue! There are also surrounding orchards that make for beautiful sunset photos. Further, the ranch offers their amazing home-grown treats for favors to be gifted to guests as an extra touch if you chose! The Kenny family is super accommodating and friendly and really make you and your guests feel at home. They store your leftovers for you in their fridge and make it super easy for vendors to drop off and pick up decor/alcohol/flowers ext. without difficulty. They also help set up and break down the event in such an efficient fashion that no time is wasted while guests are moving from one area to the next. They also have tables, chairs, ivory umbrellas, and heaters at the venue which cuts down on rental expenses. The dance floor was the big hit of the night. It is super spacious with pretty lighting and ample seating, the guests loved it! Hannah Kenny, the venue coordinator also provided a comprehensive vendor list which we used to hire all of our vendors. This worked out great as all the vendors knew one another which made for a well-coordinated event! Hannah was so patient with us and our out of state planning. She made us feel at home right from the start. We are so grateful to her and her family for hosting us at their beautiful home. -

Hannah and her family were incredible people to work with. My husband and I got engaged less than 100 days prior to the wedding date we decided on. Their flexibility with price, guest count, planning, managing the venue and vendors, timing and scheduling, etc. made the hectic three months of wedding planning so much easier. They are very laid back and helpful and really made us feel so very loved. They have so many people hosting events and weddings at the Ranch, we were surprised to feel cared for as a unique couple with a unique vision for our wedding.
It was stress-free! They were always calm, responsive, flexible, joyful... once we decided on the venue they worked with us for everything to fall into place.
We loved the dance floor, the garden, and we also loved taking photos in the apple orchard! Very romantic! If you would like a serene, gorgeous, romantic venue on the Central Coast we would highly recommend working with Hannah and her family.

User2251839 Sent on 08/01/2015See Canyon Fruit Ranch is a beautiful place for a wedding. My daughter was married there and there were about 80 guests. The setting is ideal for an outdoor ceremony. The staff was fast and efficient. Susie gave wonderful suggestions for vendors. We utilized many of her suggestions and were very pleased with event. -

This place definitely deserves a second look and a visit! Perfect for those looking for a rustic outdoor wedding.
PROs: The greenery is unmatched. The place is practical/functional for the entire wedding day (ceremony, cocktail reception) and is reasonably priced compared with the other venues we were looking at. The venue comes with foldable white plastic chairs and round tables, wine barrel bar tables, white umbrellas and has two bathrooms and ample parking space. There's a large deck in the lower lawn that acts as the dance floor. A bridal suite is available for storage, bridal pictures etc.
Potential CONs: The place only allows beer, wine, champagne (no hard alcoholic beverages) and has a stoppage time by 8pm. There's a storefront opened to the pubic during the fall season and with only a handful of camping lots. We did not have any issues with the customers. Everyone was respectable. -

I would recommend this venue to anyone, in a heartbeat.
See Canyon had been my dream wedding venue ever since I first laid eyes on it, at probably 9 years old. I fell in love with the gardens, and how peaceful and magical the place felt. Getting married here was quite literally a dream come true, and it was everything my husband and I could have asked for and more. Elaine, our coordinator, was incredible and helped SO MUCH with making sure the day was run smoothly, and everyone - wedding party and guests alike - had a great time. Everyone at See Canyon are so lovely, kind and helpful. We can't recommend them more. Thank you, See Canyon!

My fiancé and I had such a hard time finding an affordable outdoor venue that suited out needs. When we found See Canyon, we were both so happy--it was everything we wanted in a place. We were looking for the enchantment and beauty of a forest venue without having to travel far from home or spend over budget. The family who runs the farm is so friendly and highly accommodating. We're so looking forward to our big day there!
