Working with the people at Sedona Beauty Team was a great experience. Liz was very responsive to emails and the entire process was seamless. Gretchen was incredible and she was so personable. We used SBT for our daughter's wedding and could not have been more pleased! Shawna & Ally were amazing hairstylists - they created different styles & visions based on everyone's photos & ideas. Everything from spectacular up-do's to individually curling & enhancing naturally curly hairstyles. Wedding hair and makeup
This February I had my bridal hair and makeup completed by Shawna and Charity. Shawna did my sister's hair as well. They both did an amazing job and it was just what I wanted! My hair and make up lasted all day and my hair even stayed in place after two off road rides! First of all, I will start by saying that SBT was probably the easiest and best vendor that I worked with when planning my wedding. They were timely organized had a great communication and everyone I had communicated with or met was genuinely a nice person. A brides DREAM!
I am genuinely blown away by the end result of both my hair, and make up. If you saw my before an actual after pictures you would understand :) As a bride coming from Ohio to have my wedding in Sedona, I was a little worried about not having a hair and make up trial until the day before my wedding. However, my hair and make up trial was absolutely amazing. Both Charity, who did my make up, and Anna who did my hair, absolutely nailed my vision on the first try. Come wedding day, I couldn’t have even imagined but my hair and make was even better than the trial!! Not only are Charity and Anna extremely talented, but they were also very sweet, accommodating, individuals who we all enjoyed sharing our morning with (also they definitely stayed on my timeline which is important to every bride!) All of my bridesmaids, my mother-in-law, and my mom looked absolutely stunning and everyone raved ans complemented both Charity and Anna’s work all day long.
If you’re considering SBT for your wedding day -or really any event at all - I could not recommend them more. I almost want to cry writing this review because everything was so perfect. Clearly, I have mentioned their talent, but just as importantly, Liz runs an extremely organized and professional business which I admire in this industry!

What a fabulous team we got to work with. We connected via Instagram, beauty of social media! We live in Florida and really worried about our hair and make up being perfect for our special day since we did not do a trial!!!! Sedona Beauty Team paired us with such talented, patient and devoted individuals, Maryssa and Alyssa. They communicated prior to our special day and really outdid themselves. My favorite part, my make up stood on ALL night AND my hair. Having curly hair, I was so nervous but it all came out great. I would recommend this team to anyone.

Perfect Experience with Charity and Gretchen!
I got married in November 2022 and absolutely loved Charity and Gretchen from the SBT! They were wonderful to work with and all of my bridesmaids and I looked and felt gorgeous on my Wedding Day. My hair and make up came out perfect and was exactly how I envisioned it. All four of my bridesmaids loved their hair and make up as well and kept mentioning throughout the day how beautiful they feel and how the experience with the SBT was probably the best experience all of them had with a hair and make up team (I AGREE!). We all loved spending the entire morning with them and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. SBT Will make you feel beautiful!
I got married on 10/22/2021 after several date changes due to COVID and Sedona Beauty Team was fantastic every step of the way. Originally scheduled for April 2020 they were extremely understanding and accommodating when I needed to change the date for my husband and I’s wedding less than a month from the day. At the trials and on the day of, they continued to be extremely accommodating, kind, and are excellent at what they do! Gretchen and Sarah made up the team for my wedding day and they made me and the girls with me feel beautiful. They can accommodate several hair and skin types. I had a bridesmaid with sensitive, easy to react skin and Sarah was quick to provide alternatives that would be gentle and Gretchen had no trouble creating beautiful styles for the variety of hair types in our group. Our hair and makeup stayed PERFECT all night and I’m sure would have lasted through the next day if we hadn’t washed up at the end of the night. They are truly the best and I can’t recommend them enough!

The Sedona Beauty Team were absolute rock stars for my bridal hair & makeup session. Liz was easy to communicate with & quick to respond. Kara worked wonders with my notoriously-hard-to-curl hair and Celeste was so excited to do my more natural makeup look and she nailed it!
Both Kara and Celeste were timely and efficient and wonderful people to work with. They definitely brought the hype as the first big parts of my wedding day and I was orders of magnitude more excited when they left than when they arrived.

The Best in Sedona!
I loved Sedona Beauty Team! I had a large party (11 hair and makeups total) and they got all of us done AHEAD of schedule, which I have never seen happen for a wedding. All of the girls were so fun to have in the house, were complete professionals, and listened and gave each girl exactly what they were looking for. We all received so many compliments.
I should also mention the wind was gusting at almost 30 mph on the wedding day and we took a lot of outdoor pictures...all of our hair/makeup remained completely intact!

Between me and my bridal party, SBT made everything so simple the day of. I normally don't wear much make up and Charity of SBT was able to make me feel absolutely stunning and confident without feeling like it was too much. While Gretchen of SBT did my hair that lasted literally ALL night. I was able to hike to take after ceremony pictures and dance the night away afterwards with no touch ups. We used SBT for our intimate wedding during COVID. They were very flexible and easy to work with. With the closures and stay at home orders we were unsure if we could go forward with the wedding. SBT was very easy to work with during this and gave me peace of mind knowing no matter what happened they would be flexible. We were fortunate that due to our small guest count we were able to go forward with our wedding. Alyssa and Celeste made us feel completely comfortable in the middle of a pandemic. Some of our guests were very concerned with Coronavirus but they made it very safe, wearing masks the entire time and taking extra cleaning measures. On top of being great to work with, they made my dream hair and makeup come to life. Thank you for helping make my wedding day perfect.

Liz has such a FABULOUS team of makeup and hair designers!! Feeling and looking my best on my wedding day was a top priority. Being able to have my bridal party feel pampered leading up to the big celebration was also crucial. Liz, Sarah, and Alyssa did not disappoint. They listened during the hair and makeup trial, we got valuable feedback, and they were so great at helping all of us feel relaxed and have a great time as we got ready the morning of my wedding.

I researched beauty offerings in and around the Sedona area for longer than I care to admit! I had makeup done for myself, mother of the bride and mother of the groom (no bridal party). I truly loved everything that Charity (makeup) and Gretchen (hair) did. I had looked over their Instagram account and requested Charity because every makeup pic I had loved, she was the artist behind it! Liz (owner) was able to fill my request that Charity be booked for wedding makeup that day. Both Charity and Gretchen listened to what we asked for and provided us with more than we could have ever hoped! Sedona beauty team was perfection! As someone who works as a professional in the customer service industry, I have to say that Liz and her team went above and beyond from the second I inquired about booking hair and makeup services. Liz emailed me back promptly to book my trials, and from that moment my wedding day dreams came true. Charity did my make up and Alyssa did my hair, and I have never felt more beautiful. I reached out to Sedona Beauty Team in regards to doing my hair and makeup for my Sedona elopement. I quickly got a response from Liz, and officially booked them. I ended up having Gretchen as my hair stylist and Celeste as my make up artist. Both women took my vision and made it a reality. Plus they were both VERY kind and fun to chat with leading up to my ceremony. I would absolutely 100% book them again if I had to do it over. Thank you Sedona Beauty Team!

Wonderful experience!
I used Sedona Beauty Team for my wedding makeup and they were wonderful! They were very responsive, which helped since we planned our Sedona wedding from another state. I appreciated that they come to us on the wedding day, which relieved a lot of day-of stress! My makeup artist, Rocio, was very accommodating and was able to fit in my makeup trial the week of the wedding. Rocio made my bridesmaid and myself look and feel beautiful! My bridesmaid, who isn’t used to wearing any makeup, loved her look and she looked fabulous! I loved my dewy skin and berry lips, and my makeup wore well throughout the day.

I'm so happy!
Lindsay and Gretchen listened to exactly what I wanted and made me feel so beautiful. They are incredibly skilled and also brought a wonderful energy to the pre-ceremony "getting ready" phase of the day. Gretchen gave my hair pretty waves and helped me decide how to wear my rhinestone headband. Lindsay asked questions I hadn't thought to clarify that helped ensure a makeup style that I loved (e.g. shimmer vs. matte). My hair and makeup stayed in place even with happy tears. Liz was also a great communicator throughout the planning process and had me send samples of the look I was going for. I appreciate this team so much!

I got married in December and am so thankful for Lindsey and Charity! Charity did my makeup, and made me feel so beautiful and natural- she nailed the exact look I was going for! Lindsey did my hair and it turned out perfectly volumized and curled, just as I was visioning! Your wedding day is the day every woman wants to feel their absolute prettiest, and Lindsey and Charity did just that! Cannot thank them enough! We had a destination wedding and I arranged everything from the UK. All I had to go on was reviews and pictures on Instagram and for hair and make-up, Sedona Beauty Team always came out on top. Liz was quick at responding to my emails and the arrangements were handled efficiently. On the day, Gretchen (hair) and Charity (make-up) worked magic on 5 ladies in the bridal party. I have to thank Charity in particular for my make-up. I opted for a more natural look and she was fantastic in achieving it. She brought something out in my eyes that I have never been able to achieve-I wish I had paid more attention so I could replicate the look!

They Were Fantastic!
Sedona Beauty Team was fantastic! I had Charity and Dani for my October 20th Flagstaff wedding. I went into my trial wanting half up half down for my hair and Dani suggested a different style and I loved it. It was perfect. Charity did a fantastic job with my makeup. The makeup was exactly what I wanted; more dramatic than normal every day, but I still looked like me. They also did a great job on my bridesmaids, my moms, and my little flower girl. My mom had never had her hair and makeup done and she loved it. It was really special. Thank you so much for everything!

What a fantastic team!! They took such good care of me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day! They came to us and were so professional and kind. I looked so beautiful I could have died when I looked in the mirror. Please use them, they were such a delight. I do also recommend doing a hair and make-up trial before hand, it really helped us have our plan ready on the day of, and helped everything run really smoothly!

This talented team of stylists will not disappoint! We worked with the Sedona Beauty Team for our engagement photos last September and then again for our wedding this fall. With both experiences, we were so impressed with their professionalism, talent, and attention to detail. Liz Margin is extremely organized, and so responsive to questions, requests, and last minute changes! On the day of our wedding, we worked with Priscilla, Chastity, and Shaina. Everyone these ladies touched looked amazing - light and natural, yet so glamorous. They use high quality products and really take their time. At my hair and makeup trials, Priscilla and Chastity went the extra mile to get the look exactly right, cutting no corners, and making sure everything was exactly as I envisioned. I felt so beautiful at my wedding, and it would not have been the same without them. We highly recommend their services to anyone planning a Sedona wedding!

Sedona Beauty Team did an amazing job for my wedding day. We had two hair stylists and one make-up artist at our hotel room for my seven bridesmaids, flower girl, my mother, and myself. And Sedona Beauty team did an amazing job on everyone! I had Marnie for my hair and Charity for my make-up and they did such an amazing job. I don't wear make-up at all and I was so worried that I wouldn't look like myself but Charity did an amazing job bringing out my natural beauty and enhancing it, while keeping me looking like me! Marnie did an absolutely wonderful job with my hair and was able to create the exact look that I wanted. All of my bridesmaids' hair looked wonderful and the beauty team did such a wonderful job! If you can book Sedona Beauty Team make sure you do because you can't go wrong! Liz is absolutely amazing! I can't even begin to tell you how many emails I sent her about adding services or asking questions and she was always so prompt! I'm convinced she can pull off any look you want whether it be hair or makeup. I had my heart set on this super detailed and complicated up-do for my wedding and Lindsay and Liz were so patient and worked with me during the entire process. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it and looked so perfect for my wedding day! I didn't even have to tell Lindsay what I had in mind for makeup, she just did her thing and made me look gorgeous! I also have to mention that Gretchen & Marnie did a beautiful job with hair and makeup for my family members. I am very particular about my hair & have actually been that crazy bridesmaid that has taken her hair out at weddings before, so I was nervous about having anyone do my hair on my wedding day. But Lindsay just totally got me. I did a trial and she nailed it immediately. And on my wedding day - WOW!! I wasn't going to get my makeup done, but opted to at the last minute and I am SO GLAD I did. Lindsay made me look & feel more beautiful than I ever have before. She's also the nicest person ever. I highly highly recommend you book her.
Work with Liz to get things set up - she's the best. I had the girls in the wedding go back & forth quite a few times on if they were going to get their hair done or not, and she was so easy going every time I made a switch. They were awesome!

Lindsay from Sedona Beauty Team was so awesome to work with and made me feel (and look!) so beautiful on my engagement photo and wedding day. I don’t wear a lot of makeup or do anything fancy to my hair and so I let her take the lead on most of it and she did such a great job of making me look great, but still look like me. I also had Marnie and Gretchen on my wedding day for my bridesmaids and they did such a good job on all of them too! I had an amazing experience. I unexpectedly needed a hair and makeup artist the day before my wedding, yes normally very stressful experience as my friend could not make it who was in this role. I got married back on May 6th in Sedona and the Sedona Beauty Team was amazing to work with! Including moms and grandmothers, there were 14 of us getting hair and makeup done, so I was a little nervous about the scheduling, but Liz was so responsive to my emails and worked through numerous revisions to the schedule with me. The fabulous Gretchen, Kate, Priscilla and Rocio all showed up on time and even finished AHEAD of schedule. This made for a completely stress-free morning of pampering with my favorite girls! The fact that this team travels to you the day of your wedding is amazing. They care about how you want to look and work with your hair and skin type to bring out your natural beauty. While they need to apply the make up heavy for photos, it still looks very natural and doesn't feel heavy at all. Nicole was my make up artist, and she was fantastic! All of my bridesmaids raved about her, and I absolutely loved my make up! Marnie and Priscilla did the hair for me, my bridesmaids, flower girls, and greeters. They were very flexible with the different hair types and styles. Marnie did my hair, and during the trial it was beautiful but did not stay very long. The day of was completely different. We tried a similar style which came out gorgeous! All of my bridal party felt very pampered and beautiful for the big day!

I've never felt more beautiful in my life. Liz and Lindsey were both a dream to work with and Lindsey made me feel more beautiful than I ever have in my whole life. I was so fearful of looking not like myself or like a drag queen, but it was the complete opposite. I've NEVER felt better. My hair and makeup both lasted well into the next day too! It was amazing and I will be using them again for special occasions, although I wish Lindsey could get me ready everyday lol thank you ladies so much.

Liz made it so easy to coordinate the hair and makeup for my special day. Tirelessly sending and responding to countless emails, checking in and following up, to make sure everything was set for the wedding date. This really put me at ease, knowing that everything would be in place when we arrived in Arizona. In my opinion, she really went above and beyond. The process was simple and seamless.
I was especially grateful for having Lindsey take care of me on my big day. She is so sweet and personable and made me feel completely at ease. I had my wedding hair done by Nicole for Sedona Beauty Team, and she did an absolutely beautiful job! I was VERY particular about how I wanted my hair to look as I had never had my hair professionally done before, and she worked with my ideas and created a look that I loved so much. Nicole is so talented and imaginative, I saw pictures of some other brides she did that same weekend and their hair styles were equally stunning! I can't recommend her highly enough :)

We had our wedding in Sedona on the 61st anniversary of my in-laws wedding, so we wanted to incorporate something from their wedding into ours. I had the honor of wearing her original crown headpiece that she wore on her wedding day. I was nervous about how I was going to do my hair for our big day with the headpiece, but Allison did a phenomenal job incorporating the headpiece and what I had envisioned. She also did a great job with both my daughter's hair. Rocio did our make-up and it lasted all day without any touchups. I hated to take it off at the end of the day, it looked that good!

Liz was my artist and Gretchen was my stylist for my wedding day, and they both knew exactly what I wanted even when I changed my mind the day of. My wedding was a destination wedding in Sedona. I booked the Sedona beauty team and so glad I did. I didn't have a trial run but I sent pictures of make up and hair via email. I really didn't know how it would turn out but I tried not to stress. The Sedona Beauty Team exceeded my expectations! Hair looked just like the picture and make up looked amazing! She made me look younger and did some contouring on my face to enhance my features. All while retaining a natural yet classy look. I received numerous compliments and felt so beautiful on my special day!

Liz Margin and her team and Sedona Beauty Team were fantastic. She is extremely skilled and made me feel and look beautiful. I can't tell you how many compliments I received at the wedding telling me how amazing my hair and makeup looked. She also listened to my wants and needs and made me look exactly as I wanted to. The other great part about Liz is that she's really fun to hang out with! She's nice and positive and has good vibes. She was prompt at returning emails, very professional and easy to work with on the business side. Contracts were clear and easy to understand. I highly, highly recommend her.

They are truly a most talented group of women and if you are getting married in the Sedona area there is just no one else who can compare to their established and evident talent. Liz and her team really listen to the look you are trying to go for and continue working until you are completely satisfied. I hired Sedona Beauty Team to do the hair and makeup for my sister's wedding! The team did both my hair and my sister's hair the day of the wedding! Prior to the wedding, The team did a trial a few weeks before the wedding. The day of the wedding my sister was very unhappy with her hair. The team was amazing and fixed it for her. They were very professional and amazing to work with.

Sedona beauty team did such an amazing job! Liz and her team are so nice, accommodating, and I could not believe how amazing I looked on my big day thanks to them. They were worth absolutely every penny I paid. I very strongly recommend them to everyone. It was also so nice to have someone come to my venue. That was a huge weight off my shoulders.

This review is way overdue! I got married in September 2014, I loved working with Liz and her team! She is professional responsive. She helped me pick out the hairstyle and make up that would last all day and they helped me stick to my budget. I live in Chicago and I planned my wedding myself, (so it was a little stressful at times) we started makeup and hair at 10am, I was taking pictures all afternoon and then reception and dancing after the ceremony - My hair and makeup was flawless all day, my family could not believe that I had been running around all day without a touch up!!
I did my homework when I was picking my vendors, I couldn't have been happier with Sedona beauty Team.

Planned an elopement with my fiancé all the way from Michigan to Sedona! Hired Sedona Beauty Team (Liz and Alison) to do my hair and make-up. Liz who I mostly talk to through email was fast in all her responses! As soon as I met them I felt at ease! My makeup and hair were amazing! They are very friendly and helpful! Liz also helped me with my corset which was very kind of her! Highly recommended!!!

Sedona Beauty Team did an amazing job for my wedding. I didn't have to touch anything up other than a little lipstick after dinner. I wanted a glamorous look for my big day, and glamorous is exactly what I got. Liz took little steps along the way so I could get exactly what I was hoping for. I was impressed with Liz's portfolio prior to working with her. We came from out of town, so there was not a trial, yet both Liz and Marcy exceeded my expectations and I felt amazingly beautiful on my wedding day.
I highly recommend Liz Margin and the Sedona Beauty Team. It was a stress-free and fun experience. Liz also applied my daughter and my mother's makeup and all three of us were more than satisfied with her work. Liz is a true artist!

Sedona Beauty Team was fabulous, everyone was in love with their hair and make up and they did it efficiently and effectively. It was so smooth we had time to enjoy wine and take pictures. I could not be happier with the experience I had with them.
The are not cheap but well worth the money if you are looking for professionalism and results that people will be blown away by. Speaking of blown away, our wedding day was outside and had 25-30MPH wind gusts and the hair held up and in no way looked plastic or fake due to tons of hairspray. They had a challenge and 100% nailed it.
Love this vendor.

I could not have asked for a better experience with Liz and Lindsay. I am so glad I did a trial months before the wedding. It made everything go smooth on my wedding day. They are so easy to work with and make you feel so comfortable. They are the perfect duo to make you feel beautiful on your wedding day. My pictures turned out better than I ever could have imagined! Planning a wedding from 1000+ miles away was hard enough, let alone the stress of making sure as the bride I looked beautiful! It was a treasure to find and hire Liz and Lindsey with the Sedona Beauty Team. I chose to have them both Liz and Lindsey come to my hotel suite to beautify my bridesmaids and myself on the day of our wedding. What a great choice! The months leading up to our wedding I sent both Liz and Lindsey multiple emails with photos of what I was looking for on my wedding day, in addition they each provided suggestions and comments for my bridesmaids and what would withstand the AZ heat. The day before my wedding I had a one-on-one session with Lindsey to have her do a trial run of the up-do that I wanted. She came fully prepared and actually did my hair like she would for my wedding, not just a kind of, sort of, up-do – with full curls and hairspray! I had so much tension lifted and ease after the trial run by seeing my hair, loving it and finding out how awesome Lindsey was personally and skills wise. If you are debating a trial run with your stylists I would HIGHLY recommend you spend the time and money. Your wedding day will be much more enjoyable, not to mention your stylist has a less pressured time to get what you want exactly right. On the day of our wedding, both Lindsey and Liz were early, came prepared with all their tools, and tricks. They both had worked together before and you can tell. They coordinated with each other, worked together to determine who needed to get beautiful first versus last and brought a lot of laughs with them! My bridesmaids and I were laughing all morning, made new friends in Lindsey and Liz and looked absolutely gorgeous! I am so happy with my wedding day look, and of course the photos almost two years later now. I would hire both Lindsey and Liz again in a heartbeat, and probably would hire each of them even more if I lived in AZ! You will not regret the decision to hire the Sedona Beauty Team for your wedding.

Liz and Marcy were amazing! Not only did they do a fabulous job but we had a great time throughout the whole process. Marcy was really great at working with me until I absolutely love my hair! A few day after the trial Liz texted to pass some new ideas by me that she thought would look better which was extremely thoughtful. I would highly recommend them!

I did the trial run before the big day for both hair and makeup. I had the pleasure of getting Marissa for makeup and Kara for hair. They were both very patient with me because I have 0 experience in both fields. On the day of my wedding Marissa stayed after my hair was done to touch up my makeup again, and Kara helped me steam my dress a little so that it didn’t ruin my makeup. I adore both of these ladies! The only room for improvement I could give would be a little better communication when being contacted. But I understand how busy they all must be.

We Love Gretchen and Charity!
My bridal party, mom, and I had such a great time working with Gretchen and Charity for my wedding! They are so down to earth and willing to listen to concerns and suggestions to make sure you not only look beautiful but feel beautiful! A few issues we had: There was some issue with communication. I am unsure if this was on my end. I would occasionally send emails for updates and would not get a response until I sent a follow up email. I will say though, all my questions were eventually answered. I paid for a small tattoo coverup. I had sent a picture of my tattoo twice, once on my own and once through my wedding planner. Ultimately, I think in the rush of things, we all forgot to cover up my tattoo for the wedding. We ended up having the photographer help, just because I couldn't reach it. Overall, we would definitely work with SBT again!
UPDATE, 6/15/2021: Liz quickly and personally contacted me and apologized for the missing tattoo coverup. She did refund me for this service, which I greatly appreciated!

I am so happy with my choice for my wedding makeup and hair! Alyssa was my stylist and Charity was my makeup artist; they both did an amazing job and were so friendly! I would recommend doing a trial run (I was unable to do this due to COVID) and having them come to you for your special day. I do not usually wear makeup or extensively style my hair, and so I was unsure exactly what I wanted. I showed photos of styles I liked to my team and they transformed me!! The bridal look was even better than I could have imagined! My hair and makeup lasted all day without touch-ups, even with a hike up cathedral rock and back. They were very experienced, kind, and professional and I would recommend them to anyone! Definitely the best crew :)

I recently was married in Sedona on August 19th and I loved the Sedona Beauty Team! I have never had my makeup done before and was worried I wouldn't look like myself. However, that was not the case at all. Lindsay was super fun to work with and made me look beautiful. She listened to my requests and made me feel comfortable. My makeup lasted all night and I absolutely loved it. Thank you so much!
