Never been so happy with my makeup!

I am already thinking of the next occasion where I can work with Sharon again. She is truly so talented! I was nervous before meeting her, as I’ve had experiences where I’ve asked for natural makeup and walked away with a heavy look. But Sharon is a true master of her craft. She asked questions, listened, and offered guidance. I’ve never been so happy with my makeup!! I felt like the best version of myself, and it shows in all our pictures. Sharon is also extremely organized. She uses separate brushes for every person and leaves you with a little kit that includes your lip color to reapply. I would highly recommend Sharon. My 2 bridesmaids, mom, and husband’s mom also loved their makeup. I only wish I could replicate what she does!

Perfect Looks to Last a LIFETIME from SB Beauty!

If there is anything that I can say about Sharon, it is that her skill, consideration and creative sensitivity in rendering your hair and makeup for your bridal look is PURE ALCHEMY. I reached out to Sharon in mid-January, a mere month before my elopement ceremony on Lunar New Year on February 12. With COVID and the unpredictability and difficulty of organizing a wedding, I was so lucky to have found her through a Google search. Onboarding and securing my time/appointment with her was seamless and quick, and she made me feel secure and at home with her each step of the way leading up to our appointment, by personally reaching out with a phone call to gather details about the vision I wanted to create for my wedding. She remained very communicative and engaged in helping me craft a look for myself during the weeks leading up to the wedding.

On the day of the event, she was very dependable, and showed up early to the site and on time for our appointment. I was absolutely blown away with her ability to tastefully translate a concept to my face: I had wanted a glamorous aesthetic for my makeup, but also told her that I wanted to have the makeup to look lighter than the rather dramatic reference images I shared with her, if possible. When she was done applying my make up, I not only looked glamorous, but I still felt and looked like myself! Makeup was natural and fresh, but held a bit of tasteful drama--a perfect reconciliation of opposites!

Sharon is very quick in learning about personal skin type, and was able to match tones and colors to my face decisively and impeccably. Her cleaning and social distancing protocol is also very rigorous: she was careful in double masking, and she used new and clean brushes to apply product to my face. I was also astounded by her ability to style hair and also creatively work with free form hair pieces--I had bought some straight pearl pins for my hair, and she secured them very well, strategically and carefully designing such a lovely arrangement that could endure a whole day's worth of movement and running around.

Sharon's care for her clients is exceptional. Knowing that I was quite nervous in the morning for our big event, she was so kind in taking my mind off of the stress. Just a little while later, and the time that she took to prepare me for my big day flew by. She is an absolute gem, excellent conversationalist, and brilliant hair and makeup artist. I am blessed and lucky to have had the opportunity to work with her, and know where to go and who to reach out to if I ever need anything else! Thank you Sharon for all of your kindness, professionalism and artistry! You are the best of the best!

Thank You Sharon!!

Sharon was amazing to work with on my wedding day. Not only did she do a wonderful job on my hair and makeup, but she brought such calm and joy to the day! I felt so pampered and special.

Makeup: I don't wear a lot of make up in my every day life. For my wedding, I wanted to have a natural, subtle look. Sharon interpreted that perfectly and made me feel "made up" without making me feel like a different person.

Hair: I have a shag haircut which I love, but which I fully recognize doesn't always lend itself to updos. Sharon was able to give me the sleek, refined updo without a shellac of hairspray and painful pins :) She also was able to incorporate some last minute, kind of heavy, hair accessories that I truly never thought my hair could handle :)

In short - highly recommend! Loved my experience!

Beautiful Hair and Makeup!

I hired Sharon to do my hair and makeup for my outdoor elopement. She responded to my email immediately and when we talked about the wedding she had great ideas like hiring a photographer even though it was a small elopement (so happy I have those pictures). Sharon was completely professional and gave me the most beautiful makeup and hair! It was an updo that took advantage of my natural curl and looked great even though I have shorter hair. I’ve never felt comfortable in an updo until she did it because it was elegant and natural. She gave me a bold red lip and a cateye, which I requested, and I truly felt like a princess and ready for my big day! I wore the makeup all day, and it felt light, which says a lot considering I don’t usually wear much make up. My lashes were even easy to take off!

Hire Sharon if you want to look like a superstar and receive that level of service!

Lucky Find!

I worked with SB Beauty for my recent mini wedding and I could not rave about Sharon enough! She was professional, understanding and really understood exactly what it was I was looking for on my wedding day. She provided make up services herself and coordinated a hair professional as well. If you have ever gotten your make up or hair done professionally before you know how big of a risk it can be. Sharon takes all the worries out of this process. Everyone felt and looked their absolute best! Her pricing was fair and her responsiveness was incredible. I felt connected throughout the whole process, it was a true collaboration! Of note, her cleaning protocol due to COVID was outstanding. She had separate brushes, used alcohol frequently to clean surfaces and instruments and washed her hands constantly!

A stellar and supportive experience from start to finish!

Sharon helped me via video conference to do my wedding day makeup, due to Covid. We had a pre- wedding consultation and discussed makeup options, from which she sent me a list of products. Our video consultation on the day of was professional, supportive, fun, and perfect for my micro-wedding look! Sharon and one of her stylists did hair and makeup for my wedding. Sharon is a true professional and we had an incredible experience. Book Sharon NOW! Just do it, seriously. Sharon was absolutely incredible to work with—not only did she make me look and feel like the most beautiful version of myself, but I want to be her friend! She is grounded, funny, calming and made me so at ease I felt I’d known her for years. Most importantly, though, she is an expert at her craft. Sharon did makeup for my mom, sister and me and I don’t think any of us have ever looked better! Sharon gave me great advice about skincare and pointed me in the right direction to buy hair extensions for my big day—every step of the way she had my back and delivered. Patrina, who did our hair, was so sweet and also totally nailed her job. My big bouncy curls held up all night (they never do!) and my sometimes picky little sister loved her updo. Run, don’t walk, to work with Sharon and her team!

Sharon is amazing!

Sharon is the best! I had her do makeup for myself and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. Her calming energy was amazing and the girls looked awesome and I seriously loved my makeup! Somehow it looked perfect up until 3am when I finally made it to sleep after a crazy amount of dancing!

SB Beauty all the way!

I hired Sharon Becker to do makeup for my wedding day. There were 11 women total including me, my mom and 9 bridesmaids. She brought another person with her. Not only was the makeup gorgeous on all the ladies, but Sharon and her team member were very efficient, attentive and professional. As the bride, I received so many compliments on my makeup, that it looked so natural and beautiful. I do not wear much makeup in general and Sharon understood that immediately during my makeup trial. I looked like myself while still having the right amount of makeup on for photos and enough to last me through 5 hours of partying! Finally, Sharon is honest, fun and super experienced. I loved having her there with me on my wedding day.

One word: Flawless.

Sharon is the absolute best. She's hilarious, organized, and most of all - makes you look like a g-damn movie star.

I did two separate trials with Sharon and her team for hair and makeup, and she was totally understanding (and patient!) as I figured out the look I wanted.

That paid off on wedding day, when Sharon and her army of stylists came in and made up myself and TWELVE others. It was a marathon of a morning, and they were champions. Not to mention, Sharon had three weddings that weekend and brought the energy and enthusiasm to every one.

Sharon knows how to match the look you're going for - whether it's super done up or more natural. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup and would use SB Beauty again in a heartbeat.

Sharon is remarkable! I have worked with her for years in a business setting where she does my make up for Live TV. Then, when it came time for my wedding, there was no one else I would call on but her. She is wildly talented, controls the emotions of the day and can make everyone look and feel their very best. She knows how to accentuate everyone’s features to make them shine. And, she knocked out nine people all with ease, grace and professionalism. Sharon & Rachel were amazing

I hired Sharon for beauty services for myself and my wedding party recently. Sharon did makeup and was accompanied by Rachel, who worked on hair. Both were totally fantastic! Sharon managed to make everyone feel gorgeous - from my mother and mother-in-law to my makeup-averse sister. I made some changes from my trial to my day-of look and they were taken totally in stride. Rachel gave me a pinterest-worthy mermaid braid that I got endless compliments on! Their services were more expensive than some other vendors I spoke with, but 100% worth it.

Sharon and her team are simply the best!

The SB Beauty team provided make-up and hair for myself, my cousin, my mother/mother-in-law and sister-in-laws. I didn't have a bridal party, just some family and friends in the room getting ready with me. I wanted a calm, stress free, and very laid back vibe. Sharon and Abbi completely delivered! They were flexible when the hotel forgot to bring up the makeup chair and mirrors and helped keep the whole morning completely relaxed! More importantly, I couldn’t have been happier with my makeup and hair, and I know everyone else was equally satisfied. Sharon has a wonderful eye for color, respectfully listens to your requests, and moves throughout the getting-ready period of the day with a stress-free attitude. Sharon was able to make me feel gorgeous and bridal, without feeling over done -- truly myself on my best day! My hair was equally perfect thanks to Abbi! The texture she was able to create with knotted fishtail braids made my dark brown hair look interesting and also elegant. I would highly recommend Sharon and her team – she’s worth every penny.

Most amazing makeup artist

From my trial, to my shower, to rehearsal dinner and ultimately wedding, Sharon was beyond amazing to work with. As someone who rarely wears makeup, it was important to me that my makeup artist for my wedding could make me look like the best version of myself and not like I was wearing a lot of makeup...and Sharon made me look and feel my best.

Sharon also worked her magic on my 3 sisters and Mom and was able to keep our nervous energy at bay throughout the day with her calming energy. If you are looking for a makeup artist for your big day or a special occasion, look no further, Sharon is simply the best.

Sharon is a complete rock star! From the moment I met her, I knew she had the right vibe to make the day fun and stress free! Sharon was amazing. I had a HUGE pimple the day of my wedding, and she somehow made it invisible. Magic! She knew exactly what I was looking for when I said I was looking for a natural look. She really made everyone look stunning! My one comment is that the trial was at her apartment, which was dark and made it a little difficult to see how the makeup really looked. That said, I completely trusted her, and there were no surprises the day-of. I was really happy with how it turned out :)

I am into my make up and seriously fussy and I was blown away by how good it looked and lasted all day and night. Hair also was perfection! Couldn't have been happier. Sharon is also such a nice person and settled my nerves so well, it felt like having a friend there with me getting ready. 10/10!

Sharon did my hair and make -up for our elopement in New York in October 2017. Planning the day from Ireland has its stresses but Sharon was so obliging and professional. She created exactly what I wanted for my hair and make-up and it worked perfectly with my dress. She even managed to hide my jet-lag!

Sharon is the best. Hands down, the best, most professional wedding vendor I worked with. She makes you feel comfortable right away, and really takes the time to get to know you and what you're looking for. She will also be the firs to be honest with you and tell you when something doesn't look good. She is super responsive to emails/calls/texts, and will even go as far as talk you off the ledge and give you wedding-planner type of advise when she hears the stress in your voice. My makeup looked flawless all through the day and night, and I received many compliments about how natural and "un-madeup" I looked all through the night. I'd strongly recommend Sharon to anyone looking for a highly professional, organized, stress-free, punctual, and high-quality makeup experience.

Sharon Becker & her team of incredible hair & makeup artists are SO TALENTED, PROFESSIONAL, and WONDERFUL! I had my hair trial for my wedding a few months before the wedding & wasn't thrilled with the style I'd chosen once I saw how I looked in the style. Without any hesitation, Sharon rescheduled me for a 2nd trial & I was *much* happier.

On my wedding day, her hair & makeup artists showed up on time & ready to work their magic on my maid of honor, best friend, niece, and I. We were *infinitely* thrilled with how we all looked. I looked 100% better than I could've ever imagined! They were so loving & sweet to work with & shared in our excitement that day.

I was *so* caught up in the magic of our wedding that that I didn't touch up my makeup (with the exception of my lipstick) ONCE ALL NIGHT & remained looking as fresh & lovely as I did earlier that day.

Working with Sharon and her artist, Myken for my wedding was such a wonderful choice! They were so wonderful to work with! Sharon worked around my schedule for a trial and Myken could not have been sweeter! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! My mom and sister also got their make up down, and honestly they never looked better! It wasn't cakey or dark, but somehow looked so natural and lasted all day! I would highly recommend them!

Sharon was amazing! She worked with me to figure out a package that was in our budget, and dealt with some last minute schedule changes with aplomb. She met my mother at the hotel suite to start her makeup while the bridal party and I were out getting our hair done, and kept my mother entertained and calm and not bothering me :) She did a wonderful job with the makeup, and then went above and beyond in helping our wedding party out when our wedding planner was no where to be found. We had arranged to have to her stay with us for a couple hours during pre-wedding photos, and she kept everyone's makeup looking flawless in in 85-90 degree NYC summer weather. She also stepped in and helped coordinate everyone getting into limos and getting moving in a timely fashion, and even fixed a couple flyaways on the bridesmaids hair dos. I really can't recommend Sharon enough!

I am usually self conscious about being the center of attention, however, with Sharon B by my side, I felt like a Queen the entire time. During a seemingly stressful day of getting ready, I felt at complete ease with Sharon and her team. It felt like I was hanging out with a great friend as she transformed me to be my best self for the best day of my life. I will use Sharon for ANY event I ever have in my future. She truly understands how to capture everyone's beauty and make us all feel like stars. My wedding day would not have been the same without her by my side. I am grateful for Sharon for her incredible talent, her warm and authentic personality, and her hilarious sense of humor. DO NOT GO ELSEWHERE. SB Beauty is what you need to be your best self!!!

Sharon was the best!!! She went above and beyond, and helped all the maids and moms look gorgeous! She uses good make-up, clean supplies, and if you don't like something, (she asks) she does it again! She's fun to talk to, punctual, has the airbrush gun (highly recommend if you are the bride!) She was very accommodating, listened really well to what everyone wanted, doesn't upcharge for fake lashes, and gave everyone a lipstick touchup kit of the color they were wearing. She traveled to get to us, got along great with the hair ladies, is very talented and funny! I definitely recommend SB Beauty if you are getting married in the tri-state area!!!

Sharon was incredible! We all looked amazing, she was friendly, flexible, and fabulous! She was on time, very professional and very fun! I would highly recommend! Working with Sharon and her hair stylist was a dream come true. Upon arriving Sharon made my family and I feel completely at home (in our bridal suite:-). She also seamlessly worked with my two other bridesmaid while effortlessly making sure everyone stayed on time. Our trial was such a blast as well, we really had time to play around with some different looks and then on the wedding day it was a total breeze. She is a true artist and so personable which is a rare combination to find.

As someone in the wedding industry I only wanted "the best" because I have worked with many different make up artists and Sharon Becker is really the tops! She and I had so much fun crafting a rocker bride look with classical elements as my husband and I also have a rock band. I wish I could get married again so I can work with her but I'm sure I'll figure out another time to have the amazing Sharon Becker make me look my best!

I should preface this by saying that I have never, in my life, liked how I looked with professional makeup. I never felt I looked like myself, and as I was searching for makeup artists for my wedding, I was so nervous about finding the right person. Those feelings completely subsided the moment I met Sharon Becker. From our initial email and phone conversations, to my trial with her in NYC, to my actual wedding day in the Hamptons, she was a true pleasure to work with. Not only is she hilarious, she is genuinely kind and patient and a blast to be around. She and Pearl made my bridesmaids and I look and feel like the absolute best version of ourselves, and I am so lucky to have met her. You will seriously be in the best hands with Sharon.

I have nothing but praise for Sharon. She was fantastic beforehand and even more importantly, on the day! Sharon came recommended by my wedding planner and I was so happy with her. I was booking from overseas to do my hair and makeup for our elopement so being able to see Sharon's work on Instagram really helped me to see what to expect and give me reassurance that she was super talented. Even being overseas it was easy, we exchanged emails, ideas through pinterest and had a skype session to settle the final details a couple of days beforehand where Sharon gave me all her wisdom and advice to looking my best for the big day! On the day she showed up on time, was friendly and helpful but also efficient. She was very adaptable and just a joy to be around. She contributed to the happy excited feeling of the day. She was finished within the time that she said and even gave me extra lipstick for touching up later on. I asked Sharon to make me look like a glamorous hollywood star - and she gave me just that. I couldn't be happier and am so pleased that I booked Sharon. I would highly recommend her.

Sharon was absolutely fantastic. I don't like to wear too much makeup and was very wary of the powdery/overly done look. Sharon listened to all my cues and made sure I looked dewey and natural for the big day. She applied enough to make sure the pictures looked stunning but not so much that I didn't feel like myself. I'd recommend her to anyone.

Sharon is the best of the best. Her quality is top notch and she has an amazing personality that not only I loved, but my entire bridal party and family. She listens to what you want, but at the same time gives guidance if asked. Sharon Becker is truly a gem in this industry! I was so worried about finding a make-up artist who would understand I wanted to look like the best version of myself without looking like I was caked in cosmetics. From my first phone call, through my trial run, and on my wedding day, Sharon and her hair stylist, Maysoon, were thoughtful, funny, and so very considerate! I felt so comfortable and beautiful in my make-up and hair. I received so many compliments about how I looked so beautiful and questions about how my make-up artist was able to make create a style that was very natural, but wedding worthy. I was the bride who had not spent her entire childhood planning her dream wedding. Other vendors were a piece of cake through connections I already had, but makeup was not one of them. I have combination skin and various allergies and I was nervous.

I turned to a friend who was married at the same venue. SB Beauty was recommended and as soon as I met Sharon I knew why. She's classy, has a sense of humor and has a personality that can calm anyone down (she did my mom's make-up too). She gives great advice about pre wedding prep as well as day of.

Our wedding was supposed to be on January 23rd and was postponed until the 24th at the last minute because of a blizzard. I'm still so blown away by how supportive Sharon was the day(s) of our wedding. Sharon's zen played a huge role in keeping me calm when I was told the wedding was on hold (after hours of getting ready) and it meant so much she did everything possible to be there the second day. Not to mention, she touched up all of my bridesmaids out of the goodness of her heart even though it really wasn't part of our plan for the second day. Sharon's kindness and talent are reminders that the most important thing when choosing a vendor is that they will support you when all else fails!

Sharon is the best! During my trial she listened to all of my concerns and comments and created a perfect black tie wedding look. Sharon will ensure you look incredible in photos and in person (no caked on makeup). On my wedding day she was amazing, she spent so much time with each of my bridesmaids and myself ensuring we were all happy with our makeup. Sharon even gave each of us a little bag of makeup to take with us for touch ups!

Maysoon worked with Sharon as the hairstylist - she is just as incredible as Sharon! Maysoon spent so much time with all of us ensuring everyone was happy with their hair, she also spent extra time giving my Mom a beautiful blow out. Both Sharon and Maysoon were such a joy to spend the day with, both are extremely professional and will ensure you look fantastic whilst also having a wonderful time. I can't say enough about Sharon -- she literally made my wedding day. I'm not someone who feels comfortable being the center of attention and I was so not looking forward to a day where everyone would be focusing on me and my appearance. After meeting with Sharon the first time, she single-handedly changed the way I felt about my wedding day. I had a first trial for hair and makeup with someone else and the experience left me dreading the wedding day even more and feeling like I couldn't communicate what would make me feel most comfortable and beautiful. I was afraid I wouldn't find a person that would just get it. Then I met Sharon. After about 5 minutes with her, I began to shake some of that dreadful feeling about the wedding and by the time I left, I was full on excited and feeling confident and amazing. Sharon just got it.

On my wedding day, there wasn't one person who didn't comment on my hair and makeup -- not in the obligatory way either -- people were incredibly impressed with the skill involved in my hairstyle and many asked for the name and number of the person who did it. I will always know what an enormous part that Sharon played on my wedding day. It wasn't just hair and makeup -- she made me feel and look the best I've ever felt and looked, and that allowed me to have by far the best day of my life. Again, I can't recommend her enough.

Sharon is amazing! Anyone who works with her on their wedding day will not be disappointed. She is very professional and will work with your schedule. She is also very prompt and the whole wedding party was finished ahead of schedule. My make-up came out amazing and I got non stop compliments all night. I had to be ready by 3:00 to start pictures and the wedding did not start until after 7:00. By 1:00 am when the wedding was over my make-up still looked perfect. I do not even remember retouching it once. I could not believe how well and how long it stayed on through the whole day and all of the dancing! Sharon is very talented and it was a pleasure to work with her.

Sharon Becker coordinated all the day-of beauty care for myself and my bridal party. From the first time I met Sharon, at my makeup trial, she was friendly and easy to talk to. It was also very obvious that she is excellent at make up!! I love love loved my make up after my trial!! She then recommended 2 people for hair and brought an assistant for make up, who were all very talented and fun! My bridesmaids felt that Sharon did an excellent job making sure each person, individually, was happy with the way their hair and make up looked. She also makes little touch up kits for each person with their specific lip color. Sharon stayed until after the ceremony for touch-ups and was super calming to have around and was always present for a touch-up for myself, my bridesmaids, my MOH, and the mothers of the bride and groom. She was a true pleasure to work with!!

I cannot say enough about Sharon and her team. After a handful of wedding trials gone wrong, Sharon turned it all around. She is funny, professional and knows her way with makeup. I wanted a classic natural look, I did not want to look like I was wearing makeup, just a better version of myself. Sharon executed this to a T, and my makeup stayed on all night, even through a LOT of dancing. If you want to look your best on your wedding day, I highly suggest giving Sharon a call!!

I'm lucky in that I work within the wedding industry, so have had my face painted by many, many bridal makeup artists. And being extremely picky with my beauty look, when I began planning my own wedding, there was only one person who I trusted to do my wedding makeup and, lucky for me, Sharon was available.

The experience working with her went beyond her amazing artistry. She was flexible for setting the trial date, she calmed me the morning-of, she chatted with my bridesmaids as she was applying their looks (because silence while you're getting your makeup done can be awkward) and our makeup lasted the entire night. It was just an extremely pleasant experience from start to finish. Oh and bonus, I never felt prettier. I couldn't recommend her enough!

Sharon Becker did a wonderful job doing hair and makeup for me and my mother. She away totally chill, came to my hotel and worked her magic. The make up lasted the entire night and I've never looked better. And my loose updo was amazing. She was wonderful with my mother who usually wears Birkenstocks and no make up and is shy about getting "done up." Sharon made her feel at ease and made her look natural, very much herself but also totally beautiful.

I had my makeup trial with Sandra after a friend recommended her to me. I booked her instantly before the trail was even over. Sandra listened to exactly what I wanted and offered suggestions based on my features and eye color. Even if I wanted something adjusted, Sandra happily showed different options. The day of my wedding I had 11 people getting makeup done. Sandra was amazing and completed everyone’s makeup with the help of her sister, Christina. Every single person loved the way her makeup looked. The makeup lasted all day, even though my wedding was July 31 and we had pictures outside. I felt and looked beautiful on my wedding day and I have Sandra to thank for contributing to that!

I met Sharon from SB Beauty a few years ago on a photo-shoot. We had a great connection from the start. A few years forward I found myself planning my wedding. I didn’t have a date, a venue, I didn’t even have a dress. But I had my awesome MUA confirmed (we didn’t know the exact date but we knew it would be in May 2015).
In three words: “Sharon is fantastic!” Not only she is professional and so very good at what she does, she is energetic, fun and the sweetest! We scheduled a test for both my hair and makeup at her studio. Oh boy!! We had so much fun! First, she took the time to listen exactly what I wanted. It was a great process to work together and create what it turned out to be my final look. It was so comforting to know she was there for me. She listened!! I knew it was important for her to know what I wanted, she looked thoroughly at the inspirational pictures I had. She took the time to get to know me and my style better as well. She made sure I felt comfortable and beautiful! The whole process was perfect! Sharon used only very good products and she knew what she was doing with all those brushes! I was impressed.
On the wedding day, everything went super smoothly! We started early enough so my mother and I where all happy and done right on time with no stress at all! I felt like a princess. Before she left, she gave me a kit to do some touch ups on my make up during the party.
If you are a Bride, you need Sharon on your big day! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

If you are looking for a makeup artist for your wedding, stop looking right now and call Sandra Baldini! We attended a wedding last July and thought everyone's makeup was terrific so my daughter (the bride just married 5/15/15) contacted Sandra on their recommendation. I can't say how pleased everyone was. After my daughter and I went for a trial there was no doubt we made the right choice. Sandra is personable, experienced and certainly knows her business. She did everything we asked. The day of the wedding she came to our home exactly at the appointed time with her sister (an artist and also a makeup pro), set up her equipment and went right to work. There were eight of us including the bride, bridal party and me (mother of the bride.) We all looked stunning and before she left she asked each of us if we needed a "touch up." She has the talent of bringing out the best features in each person. As a matter of fact, one of my daughter's friends who is getting married booked her to do her wedding this summer. So, I recommend Sandra without reservation. My only advice is to call her soon because she books up fast and well in advance....and rightly so, she was great!

I took a look at her work on her website and emailed her for information and costs. She responded to enquiries promptly and made things very simple with payments through PayPal.

On the day she put me at complete ease by mocking my Yorkshire accent haha, and did a good job of distracting me from wedding day nerves. Although the cost was quite pricey at $385 (however this in comparison to UK stylists) the make up was flawless, very natural looking and lasted all day needing no touch ups. I was thrilled with the finish product and had many many comments about my look ?.

Sharon did the make up for my wedding and it was really a pleasure working with her. She not only did a wonderful job with my face (the make up lasted all night and photographed beautifully), but she was also really pleasant to be around on the day of my wedding. Working with Sharon was an absolute pleasure! She was a calming force- an energy much needed on your wedding day! She put me at ease and really delivered the look that I was looking for. The makeup lasted over 10 hours- pre ceremony and post reception. And most importantly, I didn't look and feel like a "clown." The makeup was clean, elegant and flawless. From the very beginning Sharon was amazing to work with. She was flexible, friendly, reasonably priced and did an outstanding job with our makeup. She made my grandmother look and feel incredible, she called down to the front desk for us to get more champagne glasses, just totally above and beyond. After the trial there were a few things I wanted changed and she made the changes even better than I could imagine. I would highly recommend using SB Beauty.

Sandra was amazing. My makeup stayed put all day long. I did not even have to touch it up. To put this into perspective, I got married on one of the most humid days in mid-July. People still talk about my makeup and I got married over 2 years ago!

I never look right in makeup, I usually end up looking like a raccoon. I went to Sandra for a trial, and when my then fiancé said he liked it, I knew I had to book her! My makeup came out flawless the day of my wedding, it was outside and very warm and it stayed the entire night. When I went to remove it, it was as if it was just applied! I'm usually shiny, but despite the humidity, my face was matte all night. My maid of honor wanted a more simple look, and her makeup was stunning! Sandra is the best, hands down!

Sandra did my makeup and everyone in my bridal party. She is beyond talented and made me feel like a princess on my wedding day. She has such a great personality and was such a pleasure to deal with on one of the most emotional days of my life. When I first met with her, I told her I wanted to book her for the whole day so my makeup would stay perfect. She told me that it was unnecessary to do it, because the makeup would last all day. To me that was a big deal, she could have easily made a lot more money off of me but did not take advantage. My makeup lasted all day, even through all the tears of joy. I love Sandra and the work that she does!!

Sandra is amazing. Her funny and outgoing personality put me at ease on my wedding day while she did my makeup and my makeup came out beautiful! It lasted all day and didn't smudge at all (even though my eye make always smudges, that day it was perfect!) my wedding was in 2010 and I still use Sandra for all my big events. Sharon Becker was a godsend at my wedding! I had my original makeup artist cancel on me three days before my wedding due to unforeseen circumstances. I posted my predicament on Facebook and got numerous recommendations. But two key people who I admire and have great taste recommended Sharon. I wrote to her and she responded immediately. She never made me feel bad about having to find someone so close to my event, she was sweet, charming, courteous, and super intelligent. I appreciated that because we chatted and became instant friends. Her makeup is unbelievable! She made me look and feel beautiful. I did modeling in the past and do TV all the time so I get my makeup done frequently. I've never met anyone who has the discerning eye and technical handwork that Sharon has. She is stupendous! I recommend her without any reservation, she is one of those people who was born to do this and her work shows this with flying colors!

I feel so fortunate to have found and worked with Sharon on my wedding day! From the moment I met her, I felt so comfortable that I was in great hands -- I didn't have to think about it a moment more, Sharon would make me look & feel beautiful! She was able to articulate what I wanted, even though I wasn't (at all) able to articulate it! And, for someone I spent a considerable amount of time with on the day of my wedding, she was such a pleasure to chat with. Fun, calm, and just lovely.
Sharon and and an assistant also did makeup for my mother, mother-in-law and bridesmaids. Everyone looked and felt gorgeous!

Sharon is a rock star. I am not much of a makeup person in my day-to-day life, so I was a bit hesitant to have my face done for my wedding - I was nervous about looking too "done," especially given that our celebration was a small, intimate outdoor gathering at a winery and nothing huge and glamorous.

When I expressed my concerns to Sharon, she put me totally at ease. She assured me that I would still look like myself, and she truly delivered on this promise. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. The products she chose were amazing - incredibly lightweight, but with amazing staying power through the whole evening, lasting through my tears and dancing and having cake smeared on my face with only a few re-applications of lipstick needed. Best of all, when I look at my wedding photos, I don't see makeup - I see me.

Sharon also did makeup for my mother, mother-in-law and sister-in-law, and everyone looked and felt gorgeous. And beyond her talent with a makeup brush, Sharon is just one of those people you want to have around you on your wedding day. She exudes calm and has a wonderful sense of humor.

I truly can't recommend Sharon enough. No matter what your look, she will help you be the most gorgeous version of yourself.

Sharon was a joy to work with from the first connection to the end. She made everything very easy, comfortable and fun. Sharon done my hair and make up for my elopement wedding. She was very responsive to my emails and arrived as agreed on the day. Straight away she made me feel relaxed, listened to what I wanted and done a fabulous job. Both hair and make up lasted perfectly, looked as good going to bed that evening as when Sharon had done it that morning. Sharon is excellent at what she does and I would highly recommend her for both hair and make up. Coming from abroad to get married meant I had to trust online recommendations and I had seen her mentioned in several forums, I don't normally comment online but Sharon really is fab and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her.

Sharon is fantastic! I had tried someone who was a bit cheaper before, but I was not happy with how I felt. Sharon is so talented and a true professional. I looked and felt so beautiful on my big day. More than just the results of her work, Sharon is so lovely to work with. She is flexible, positive, personable and really listens to your concerns and talks you through what she is planning to do so you are always comfortable and involved. This is a big contrast to some other makeup and hair people who treat you like you are their palette - not a person.

Moreover, Sharon took on makeup for my maid of honor and hair for another bridesmaid on late notice (one day of!). She changed around her schedule to accommodate. So awesome.

Sharon did a fantastic job with my makeup! I initially met her at a Scratch Weddings showcase, and I could tell she really understood me as a person and what I was looking for with my makeup. The trial at her home studio was a blast and I loved the look.
On the day of the wedding Sharon did makeup for me, my mom, my sister, my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law and we all looked beautiful. They all commented on how personable and fun Sharon was to work with. My makeup was soft but also glamorous and it didn't feel heavy, which was important to me since it was a hot day and I'm not used to wearing makeup. I also loved the fake lashes.
Everyone kept telling me how pretty I looked, and I can tell from my photobooth pictures that the look was flawless.

I was coming from N. Ireland to get married in New York. I had seen Sharon mentioned on Trip Advisor and and she was also recommended by my hotel. It was just my other half and me. it was lovely to have someone so genuine and kind to help me get ready for the wedding. Sharon was great to work with and I was very pleased with the results. As our wedding was away from home i knew the photos would be scrutenised and everyone commented how natural my make-up was and that more importantly i looked like me. You are definnitely in good hands!

I was extremely happy with the makeup and hair by Sharon. I requested that my hair be an updo with soft curls and my makeup be natural for my big day (I shared some pinterest photos upon her great suggestion since my request was really vague), and my mum was after a natural look as well. Sharon did an amazing job on us both and the look held during the day and through to the night.

Sharon was great at communicating by email before my wedding day and it was lovely to have her at my apartment in the morning. She seems to be a genuinely happy person and made my mum and I feel relaxed and beautiful - thanks!

Sharon is an absolute delight to work with and a marvel at both hair and makeup! I was planning my wedding from 3000 miles away and had to choose most of my vendors off the internet and from over the phone. I really liked her work online and just from speaking to her on the phone, I could tell she was both professional and quick to understand what I was going for. I didn't have time for a trial since I only flew in for the wedding, so I just had some images to work from on the day of. I don't usually wear much makeup, so she gave me really soft, flawless skin and the accents in the eyes and lips that I requested. It was like being a photoshopped version of me!

On the day - she has such an easy-going, cheerful attitude that it really calmed my nerves. On top of that, she was completely right about the timeline of the prep (thank goodness I trusted her). She made my mom, future-sister in law and I all look stunning. We all wanted different looks (some up, some down) and had different skin, hair - but she managed to make all of us happy. I was completely blown away by her work. She even stepped up and helped when their was a dress fiasco at the very last minute.

I am so incredibly grateful I found Sharon - she really saved the big day! I can't recommend her enough!

Sharon was recommended to me by my wedding photographer, so I knew she must be good. At my trial, Sharon really listened to what I want as my wedding look, and tried different options to make sure that it was perfect. And on my wedding day, Sharon completed my makeup seamlessly and beautifully. I felt like the glamorous bride I always wanted to be. Sharon also did the makeup for my mom and bridesmaids, and really brought out their individual beauty in their looks. Not only did we look gorgeous in the beginning of our day, our makeup was still flawless at the end of the night after taking pictures in the summer son, and dancing the entire reception. Sharon was amazing! She was a recommendation from my photographer and after viewing her website I loved her work. Since I was planning my NYC wedding from Los Angeles I booked her without a trial. I knew from talking with her on the phone that she was going to be a great fit and that she would capture the look I wanted! Let me tell you I was not disappointed, I looked AMAZING and so did my maid of honor and mom!!!!

Sharon did a great job of staying in touch with me in the months leading up to my wedding. We did a trial a few days before and she replicated the look perfectly on the big day! Not only did I look amazing in person but the makeup photographed beautifully as well!!

Sharon provided me with an excellent experience and made myself, my maid of honor and my mom feel and look beautiful. She is not only a talented hair and makeup artist but an awesome person! We all had a blast getting ready with her! I also had the pleasure of having her assistant Kemmi stay with me during my bridal party/ family photos and through the ceremony for touch ups and a hair transformation! She was also amazing and did a great job keeping me looking fresh while walking around NYC in August!

SB Beauty was the perfect choice for makeup and beauty for this New York City girl getting married in New Jersey at The Park Savoy, Florham Park, NJ. Sharon Becker (the SB of SB Beauty) is talented, wonderful to work with and made me feel like a million bucks on my wedding day.

I knew of Sharon's work before solidifying her as my bridal makeup artist. We had a great consultation, in which we tried looks and she was incredibly helpful in giving advice, feedback on some ideas I had and made up a look that was dead-on to what I was looking for too. Sharon was also incredibly responsive to emails before the consultation, and thereafter. She knows how to play up features and what colors will look best in photos (and in real life too!). Sharon also suggested I set up a Pinterest board with makeup looks, hair looks and wedding looks I was going for so that she could also set the makeup vibe to the right style of the day. What a great idea!

On the actual "big day" I knew I had nothing to worry about, I was in great hands. Sharon was early to the venue (thank you!) and was there to greet us with smiles on her face to begin our prep work. Sharon worked on my sister (bridesmaid, 26 yrs old) and soon to be sister-in-law (bridesmaid, 15 years old) and created looks that they LOVED. Both bridesmaids said they wish that they had Sharon getting them ready every day. All of our looks lasted well into the evening.

Sharon also offered a few touch-ups on the mothers and left me behind lipstick and gloss to use throughout the night.

Every step of the process with Sharon was enjoyable, easy, comfortable, professional and on top of all of that, fun too! People seriously told me how great my skin and coloring looked, I have Sharon to thank for that. Highly recommended.
