Ridiculously Thorough Hospitality
We hired Sawatdee to cater our wedding and were absolutely blown away by the quality of their service. From the beginning, Cyndy helped us work out *every* single detail, which is saying a lot because we had an exhaustive amount of questions and requests. She was always responsive, available, and helpful. The cocktail hour spread was so beautifully laid out. They printed a menu for our guests and brought extra spices and sauces on the side for the buffet dinner. They even cut our wedding cake for us. The staff were so efficient and it was awesome seeing them have a good time at our wedding. To top it off, the food at our wedding was the best we've ever had from Sawatdee - guests, even including our grandmothers and my great grandmother, went out of their way to rave to us about how much they loved the food. We ate the leftovers at work for lunch for a week and made me feel emotional every time. I can't recommend Sawatdee enough if you are looking for something other than dry Italian chicken or steak for your event catering. You won't regret it, and your guests won't either! -

The entire team at Sawatdee was awesome to work with- Cyndy was awesome to work with. We had a fair amount of dietary restrictions and requirements and Cyndy made sure that every single one of our guests was accommodated and taken care of. The entire team was very timely, cleanly, and handled the entire meal service with ease. We got some many complements on our food from all our guests! Would certainly recommend, especially if you are already a fan of Sawatdee! -

My husband and I hosted a small wedding celebration for our daughter. The space was perfect for our party of 15 people, but more could easily be accommodated. Our family has loved Sawatdee for years and the private room at the Washington location seemed perfect for what we wanted. The manager, Cyndy, was great. Easy to communicate with, responded to questions etc quickly, flexible- we wavered between having the wedding in the Sawatdee space and an outdoor location and she was fine with either (we ended up having the wedding in a park and then going to the restaurant for the reception.) We had left candles and flower arrangements for the table earlier in the day and they set it up for us. And there is a huge floral mural on the wall that really makes the space lovely. Our appetizers and preselected bottles of wine were ready when we arrived so we could immediately toast the bride and groom and have a little social time. We then individually ordered off the menu and everyone (even the picky eaters in the party who were unfamiliar with Thai food) loved their dishes. It was easy for the guests that wanted something other than wine to order from the bar. The service was fast and the server was wonderful. We couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. My daughter said it was "magical". -

Cyndy at her team at Sawatdee were outstanding to work with and we could not have asked for a better caterer to trust with the dinner service at our wedding. Cyndy put in so much work before the day, meeting with our venue coordinator to discuss the logistics of the space and even having one on one conversations with our guests who had specific dietary restrictions. She is extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. On our wedding day, the buffet was beautiful and full of some of the best Thai food we've ever had. All of the food was clearly marked with what common allergens it contained, so rest assured that any of your guests with dietary restrictions will know exactly what they can eat. Dinner service through the buffet was quick and smooth, and the Sawatdee team was out immediately after clearing plates. Many of our guests said the food at our wedding was the best wedding food they'd ever had. Beyond the delicious food and efficient staff, the best part for me as a bride about working with Sawatdee was knowing that I was leaving a huge part of our evening in confident, competent hands. We could not recommend Sawatdee any more! -

We absolutely LOVED working with Cyndy and Sawatdee. The food was so yummy and unique. Our guests loved having something other than plain chicken and potatoes. Cyndy was so lovely and easy to work with and all the servers were professional, kind, and efficient. Cyndy made the whole process easy, from deciding which dishes to choose to getting all the logistics figured out. I'm so glad we went with them for the wedding and will definitely choose them again for future events! -

I truly cannot speak more highly of Sawatdee catering. The food was so good, most of our guests got seconds and thirds! The kids, the oldies - literally everyone was so pleased with the taste and quality of the meal. We felt Thai food fit our personalities and taste, and everyone said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. We also did a coffee and tea service which was a hit. Food is such a big part of a wedding, I am so, so, so thrilled that we chose Sawatdee. -

Delicious Food!
Would 100% recommended Sawatdee for your wedding! Cyndy was so flexible and responsive to all of my questions throughout the whole process. We decided to go with a family style meal and so glad we did! Our guests loved everything from the siracha & chili oil on the table to receiving take home boxes for leftover food! The chicken red curry was definitely a fan fav! Their team did a wonderful job and made our day go smoothly!

Great place for large rehearsal dinner
We and our 67 guests LOVED sawatdee. They did a wonderful job of setting up the party room and expanded the space to accommodate our large group. We went with the two entrees/two appetizer Buffett and two drink tickets per guest We were able to add our own table decorations. Food was hot. Service was top notch. Would highly recommend this place! -

My husband and I grew up in Thailand together, so we really wanted to have Thai food as our wedding catering. We were working with a tighter budget and an even tighter timeline, but Cyndy from Sawatdee was the easiest caterer to work with. Cyndy and her team exceeded our expectations and we received countless compliments on the food during our wedding.
The food was incredibly delicious and looked stunning during the event, and the onsite service was incredible as well - the servers made sure that the heaters were ready and that everything was prepared and ready to go.
We also worked closely with Cyndy throughout the wedding planning process, and she was flexible, responsive, professional, and all-around was wonderful to work with.
If you want AMAZING Thai food for your wedding catering, then Sawatdee is definitely the way to go!! -

The food we got from Sawatdee at our wedding was some of the best Thai food we've had, and was very fresh and flavorful. It surpassed our expectations and there was plenty of food for everyone on a reasonable budget. Guests were all very happy with it.
Only con, was sometimes communication leading up to the event took a bit, but it was all well within time for the event. -
