Sasha is an amazing photographer, full stop.
I imagine that when most folks are selecting their wedding vendors, they start with maybe the venue, then get into catering, etc. Finding a photographer is perhaps finding someone who fits in with everyone else's schedule. For us, it was the opposite. We found Sasha and her work and made everything work with her availability because she was the one collaborator we felt we couldn't do without, and she did not disappoint.
If you are thinking of hiring Sasha you should know she has a no BS attitude. Sasha was there to make things awesome and was incredibly direct on what needed to happen for that to work. For us, this was a perfect match, making all of our work together more enjoyable and lower stress. That is not to say Sasha was no fun. Quite the opposite! We laughed through every touchpoint with her and had a great time.
None of that has yet spoken to the actual photography. Suffice it to say, Sasha simply did awesome work. When I compare the quality of photos we received to those of others we have looked through, there is just no contest. While Sasha's rates are nowhere close to the lowest we saw, the quality of her work was simply unmatched.
I can not recommend Sasha highly enough. -

I heard of Sasha's work from a coworker and her style of photos were exactly what we were looking for. My now-husband is a photographer and was super picky in choosing someone; so this means Sasha was THE BEST. She's so fun, she's talented, made us feel comfortable and look our best, and our pictures were better than what we could've hoped for. Sasha did our amazing engagement shots at Twin Falls where it was snowy and amongst the beautiful green trees. She shot our wedding by herself and was calm, fun, and just an amazing person to work with. All my friends and family rave about my wedding photos and I can't stop looking at them. The pictures capture the candid moments and are artistic without being crazy air brushed or too moody and dramatic. I was super surprised looking through the pictures that she was EVERYWHERE - she captured moments that I forgot, beautiful family moments, and the crazy dance moves. I highly recommend working with Sasha for anything as she captured our wedding day (the best day ever) and we get to re-live it through the pictures. -

Sasha is truly an artist-- capturing the big moments as well as the small to tell an authentic, lively, and emotional story about her clients. My partner and I chose to go with her for our wedding photography as well as doing an engagement shoot with her. We were so impressed with her past work and what we saw in our engagement shoot that we considered her our insurance policy for the wedding-- no matter what happened, we knew Sasha would make it look good!
Sasha truly went above and beyond. She gave us more than we paid for in both service level and photos delivered. She captured everything we could dream of. All the important stuff as well as the small details that create a full picture of an event... the food, the candid moments of guests mingling, a family member's face responding to the ceremony, epic dance party moves, or a kid doing something cute off on their own. Her editing and light treatment give photos an editorial quality, resulting in an authentic but elevated feeling.
On top of all that, Sasha is the most fun to be around. Her personality is buoyant. She laughs a lot and cheers other people up around her. We are so grateful she was with us through some of life's most meaningful moments. -

My husband and I hired Sasha as our wedding and engagement photographer. As someone in a creative field myself, I am super picky when it comes to photography - so Photographer was one of (if not THE) most important things on my list for the wedding day. When I started researching wedding photographers, I was drawn to Sasha's work immediately and knew she was going to be my top choice. When she was available for our wedding date it was really a no-brainer. She gets all the classic wedding and engagement shots but makes them entirely her own, and what you get is beautifully crafted and curated images that are so authentic to who you are and uniquely told by Sasha. Her framing, angle usage, and editing are all incredible. One of my favorite things about Sasha's work is that you can identify it by the style; hiring an artist with their own point of view and creative voice was super important to me so we didn't end up with cookie cutter images that would age poorly and fall into whatever the trending photo traps are of the time. She did not disappoint.
Sasha is incredibly professional in the way she runs her business, but also casual and down to earth which makes her super easy to work with. She was very prepared for the day-of with her photo list and gave great advice on how we could change around our day-of timeline to accommodate all the pictures I wanted to get. She was always communicative in the preparation leading up to the wedding which helped it go that much smoother, and the day of she was super focused on getting all the shots and melted into the background most of the time, then commanded the group other times when we needed it. She never distracted from the big moments and captured so many raw emotional interactions.
My husband and I are not the most natural in front the camera, but she coached us and laughed through it with us and you would honestly never know looking at our pictures. I love each and every photo she has taken of us. When we look back on our wedding day and think about what we might do differently if we could go back, photography is one area we have absolutely no regrets about. We would hire her again and again! And plan to for future photo needs :)
I cannot praise Sasha highly enough - these photos are going to be cherished for a lifetime and we are so grateful Sasha was apart of our wedding day. -

My fiance and I instantly fell in love with Sasha's work, and are so grateful to have had her capture our wedding day/elopement. We knew right away that her style fit the kind of vibes we wanted in our photos. Her ability to authentically connect with people also helped me feel very comfortable and at ease in front of the camera, and she's great at capturing the little fleeting moments that you want to remember.
Aside from her clearly phenomenal eye for photography, she impressed me most with how well she's able to roll with the punches and remain graceful and poised under pressure which - believe me when I tell you - the part of your wedding no one tells you about is how things don't go as planned!
Sasha even made our experience in the crazy, torrential downpour of Seattle rain fun. At one point, I'd mentioned humming Taylor Swift - "Today was a Fairytale" in my head and without skipping a beat, she pulled it up on her phone so that I could feel like I was living my real life fairy tale.
We truly could not thank Sasha enough for being the one we could depend on most to ensure we had everything we needed and a fantastic experience we will never forget. -

Sasha was lovely to work with! Planning a wedding in Covid time was not easy, though, with her grace and ease, we managed to have a fun and wonderful wedding in the middle of the pandemic. She was punctual, paid attention to capturing details, displayed a great deal of professionalism and enthusiasm. On top of that, her work showcases amazing technical skills and artistic taste. Highly recommend Sasha as your wedding photographer!

I don't know where to start! We were completely blown away by Sasha's work and are so in love with the photos. We chose Sasha to do our engagement photoshoot because we liked how she was able to capture the uniqueness of each couple. After we got our pictures back, we knew that she was a shoe in for our wedding day as well!
Although our wedding was significantly altered by COVID, Sasha rolled with the punches and was flexible up until the last minute. She beautifully captured every special moment of our day from the emotional intimate moments, to the happy celebration.
Sasha allows the natural organic moments to happen but also is not afraid to provide guidance to get the perfect shot. She does a really nice job of making you feel comfortable so you don't get that cheesy, staged engagement/wedding photo look.
Over the day she took on so many more roles beyond the normal call of duty and was a photographer, a friend, makeup artist, and even stood in as a driver when our car was late! She was one of the best decisions we made and highly recommend her for others - you will not be disappointed. We had more stunning photos in our first look than some people get for their entire wedding! -

We honestly couldn't have asked for a better engagement and elopement/wedding photographer than Sasha. She is not only extremely talented, professional, punctual and skilled at her craft, but she is also a kind, thoughtful, empathetic and caring human being. She captures authentic moments and cares for her clients, which shows through in her photography. Wherever she's sent the final photos back to us, we've honestly teared up because of how beautifully she's been able to capture our love. We know we'll be working with her for years to come because she's honestly the best. -

Sasha was amazing to work with for our February 2020 wedding photos! We returned from honeymoon just in time for COVID craziness, but having so many beautiful pictures to look at that captured the emotions of our day has kept us in the afterglow of our wedding. My husband and I are grateful that Sasha was able to catch so many moments and candid pictures! We also chose to do an adventure engagement shoot with Sasha before our wedding and had a really good time hiking down to some falls where she took the most incredible pictures of us. Sasha is so easy and fun to work with, as well as an artist of a photographer. We can't wait have to opportunity to work with her again! -

Sasha totally blew us away in capturing our wedding day. Really, the thing we cared most when looking for a photographer was ensuring we'd have pictures we absolutely cherished, and we DEFINITELY got that, but we got so much more. Sasha met with us and got to know us, and acted as a coordinator at times too--helping us decide on a schedule, and making sure that the flow of the day made sense, and that photo time wasn't chaotic. She is truly an expert in not only photography, but weddings, and she makes it clear that she is there along the whole planning process to help you through. On the day of the wedding I truly felt like a friend was capturing the day for us. I couldn't wait for her to show up! Oh, and my friends have literally told me they are jealous of my photos. And I would be too if I were them. ;) Sasha will be me and my husbands photographer for life. -

We absolutely loved working with Sasha and loved how our photos turned out. Our package included an hour engagement session and 7 hours on wedding day. Sasha met with us before we agreed to work together and we could tell right away how passionate she is about photography. The engagement session allowed us to get some practice for wedding day - I highly recommend it! Sasha went out of her way to make our wedding day so incredibly special. She was flexible, easy to work with and prompt. She went out of her way as photographer to fix my dress, hair and keep me calm. Hire this fantastic lady!
Sasha was recommended to us by a good friend who was familiar with the style of photography we like. We love candid photos, especially laughing ones, and those are easy to get when your photographer is truly a joy to be around. Sasha is so wonderful, and I'm happy we got to know her a little bit outside of photography as well as working with her on our wedding day! She knows exactly what to say to make you comfortable (multiple times on our wedding day she told me to pause and take a deep breath) and I loved that she even reminded me before reading the love letter my husband wrote me to just ignore the cameras and let myself really feel that moment. Things go by in a flash day of, and Sasha helped me be present in the moment. The images we got back were stunning, and I can't believe that I somehow have to choose a subset of them to display in our house (if I did all of them I think I would actually end up wallpapering the entire inside of our house)
From one stressed out bride to another, Sasha made day of so easy, because I knew that I could just let her do her thing and it would be amazing. She kept asking me if I would be ok shooting in a particular location and I think I told her "you could tell me to get in that lake and I would, because I trust it would come out beautifully" haha
tldr: hire her and have the time of your life! -

Sasha was one of maybe 10 wedding photographers I had reached out to, and was the first of the photographers I had met with after making my short list given pricing and availability. After our first meeting with Sasha and my then-fiancé, I immediately cancelled the other meetings and booked her on the spot. I have never been so confident in a decision in my life, and spoiler alert! My gut decision was dead on.
Sasha is incredible - her work speaks for itself. But beyond her talents (which really, are amazing!!), she is very well organized, and her personality is so wonderful. My husband is one of those "pictures steal my soul" types, who didn't like photos because they had never had good photos taken of them. But Sasha was able to pull him right out of his shell, she's just so personable and funny and you can't help but wish she was your best friend, because she's so great.
She shot our engagement photos and they were gorgeous! We relied on her to pick shoot location (she provided lots of options and support by asking us questions about preferences, and answering all question we had about the process), and it was honestly such a fun experience. We used our photos for Save the Dates, and they came out amazing!
Fast forward to pre-wedding, she will reach out and ask tons of questions about what the day will be like, what you want out of photos, such as if you want specific shots, or an emphasis on getting ready, or more dancing candids, etc. She has an entire day of timeline to help plan out exactly what should be going on at what time during the day, which is EXTREMELY helpful, especially if you don't have a planner/coordinator!
Day of the wedding, Sasha was her usual fun and energetic self, keeping us laughing throughout the whole process. She helped keep us on schedule, got every single portrait we had asked for, and if we had any last minute ideas she accommodated them. She also had fun on-the-spot inspirational moments and would pose us per a vision she had in her mind. And holy hell, I only have my sneak peeks back right now, but I am absolutely IN LOVE with our photos. Everything I could have asked for and more. She was able to capture us being us. The photos feel so real and so genuine to who we are, and the love my husband and I have for each other, our families, and our friends is so tangible just by looking at these photos.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Sasha to be your wedding photographer. Choosing her to be my wedding photographer was the easiest decision I made in the planning process, and probably also the best decision I made. I admire her and her work, and if you hire her, she is going to blow your mind! -

Working with Sasha was the best investment we made towards our wedding! All the photos turned out magical and she captured some of the best and most beautiful moments. All my family members and friends loved how the photos turned out and there was so much attention to detail and hard work that went into them. Sasha is hands down the best and most artistic photographer I ever had the pleasure to work with. It's really difficult to capture group photos, and make everyone look on point but she did it and made the group photos look more natural and less posed in the process due to her artistic direction. -

Where do I even begin? We love Sasha. We discovered Sasha Reiko Photography just through internet searching, and we found out later that she was booked to do a family friend's wedding as well. It's obvious from her portfolio that Sasha is an incredible photographer. She knows her shot and how to make her subjects look their best, but still themselves. Her photography is just beautiful. Apart from her wonderful work product, Sasha is also incredibly easy to work with as a vendor. She was transparent in her cost and her provided services. She was super responsive to the many exchanged texts and emails. She was also wonderful about recommending other vendors and helpful do/don't tips from shoe wear to wedding timeline and everything in between! The day of the wedding, she was such a calming force for what is inevitably a stressful situation. She put us at ease during photos and really made us feel in the moment. She was discreet during the ceremony and the reception. After the wedding, we got a sneak preview within a week or so of some great shots from our night! We absolutely loved working with Sasha for our wedding (I honestly can't gush enough about her), and we would absolutely recommend her to others! -

She has such a bubbly personality. Taking photos can be awkward sometimes and she makes you feel comfortable.
Engagement photos: I really wanted them at Diablo Lake. She suggested other places due to possibility of weather issues but I was stubborn and had to have them there. Sasha was such a trooper making the long drive out there! We wanted our dogs to be part of some of the photos. Pets are unpredictable in regards of how they'll act. Our dogs did put up a fuss at times but Sasha was really patient. The photos came out so much better than I could have expected!
Wedding: We wanted the same photographer to do our wedding photos just because engagement photos is like getting to know each other before the big day. We can't imagine anyone else doing them but Sasha! Again, she was patient with everything that went on. We really enjoyed working with her and can't wait to see the rest of our wedding photos!
Boudoir Session: I was really nervous going into it. I'm comfortable in my skin but not comfortable trying to look sexy. Sasha was so funny during the session. She would actually pose first to show me how to do it which made me feel so much better and more confident. The pictures turned out amazing, the session wasn't intimidating at all and turned out really fun, and my husband loves the boudoir album as his wedding gift from me!
We definitely recommend her for photography needs! -

Something interesting besides "This is a wedding, aren't these people and this setting beautiful?" I wasn't disappointed - in fact the opposite. The photos of our special day are stunning and I still almost a year later find myself looking at them and getting sucked back in to our magical evening. Sasha was worth every penny and more!

My wife and I hired her to shoot our engagement photos in Kirkland and we had such a great time with her that we decided to ask her if she'd be willing to shoot our wedding in Texas. Sasha is incredibly laid back which helped put my wife and I at ease and kept everything fun! She toughed out a whole day of shooting for our wedding and not once complained about the hot weather or hectic schedule! She had great shooting ideas and always made us feel like she was doing her best to capture every moment. I suppose one of the best things was that It didn't even feel like we had a stranger shooting our wedding but rather just another one of our friends! The photos she took looked absolutely AMAZING! Every little moment and emotion was captured through photos of laughter, happiness and excitement!! We would absolutely recommend Sasha for any kind of shoot. We know it can get a little confusing and stressful when looking for photographers and you always find yourself asking, "Which website has more honest reviews? Do you judge a photographer's website by its layout or do you just have to meet them in person?" Allow us to let you know that Sasha is as good as photographer as any out there and better. Her photographs and personality make her one in a million!
