From the very first conversation, we knew we were in good hands, but Sarah from Sarah Jay Photography still managed to exceed every expectation.
Sarah was punctual, organized, and incredibly flexible throughout our entire wedding day. And when I say flexible, I truly mean it. Between timeline shifts, last-minute changes (outdoors to indoors due to hurricane winds and rain in the middle of the desert in Las Vegas), and a little bit of family craziness (because what wedding doesn’t have some?), she handled everything with calm confidence and total professionalism. Not once did she seem flustered, she just adapted and kept the day flowing.
And then there’s her work… absolutely magical. The way she captures light, movement, and emotion is unreal. Every photo feels alive. She somehow caught the big, dramatic moments and the tiny, intimate ones in between, the looks, the laughs, the happy tears, all of it. When we got our sneak peeks back, we were completely blown away.
My husband calls her a “wizard,” and honestly, that feels accurate. There were moments I barely remember her being there, yet she captured them perfectly. She has this incredible ability to blend into the background while still somehow being everywhere at once. She also joined in the fun when the DJ played the wobble and cupid shuffle.
If you’re looking for a photographer who is talented beyond words, steady under pressure, flexible with whatever the day throws at you, and delivers truly breathtaking images, this is your person. When wedding costs can feel out of control, her pricing was extremely reasonable. We are so grateful for her and will treasure these photos forever! -

10/10, captured the best day of my life flawlessly!
Sarah is an incredible professional to work with. After her quick responses and a lovely phone chat, I knew she’d bring it and boy, did she! She captured our elopement day as we got ready, around the hotel, casino and outside shots and every single one came out stunning. We are shy people in front of the camera but she directed us with kindness and turned us into models for our big day! She knew exactly what we were going for just off of a few inspo pics. Location, timing of day, people/pups that we wanted included, she captured it all flawlessly. I am so grateful for her effort and professionalism…and will now go back to staring at all my beautiful wedding pics that I just can’t get enough of! -

Vegas, baby!
We loved working with Sarah! I had 1 week to find a photographer for a surprise bow renewal and Sarah Jay saved the day and did not disappoint! She was so easy to work with and very responsive! Our photos I will cherish a lifetime and I was so happy to meet her! She delivered sneek peeks so fast and the gallery super fast! You will be so happy to have her at your event! -

Sarah photographed our elopement and picking her was the best thing about our day! She knew exactly how to style us and where to go to get the perfect Vegas wedding look we were after. Sarah moved quick and captured every shot we wanted and so much more. Sarah is so warm and we and our wedding party felt so comfortable in her presence. She made the photoshoot so fun and we LOVE our wedding photos. Sarah gave us heaps of other recommendations for other vendors which were amazing and was so clear and great communicating with us. Would recommend Sarah to everyone! -

We highly recommend Sarah!
She made us feel so comfortable when posing us, and we had the best time with her. Our sneak peek photos are to die for.
She also hopped in and did a line dance with us, which I absolutely loved.
She focused on getting the best candid shots, and family shots.
I’d say she is worth every penny, and more.

Sarah Jay is absolutely amazing! I wanted a photographer who gave a ton of direction and could corral a group or crowd; and Sarah exceeded my expectations. The number of times wedding guests came up to me and told me “wow your photographer is amazing” were too many to count. She was organized, fun, and got extraordinary photos back to us incredibly quickly. Other than my husband, she was the best wedding decision I made 😊 -

Sarah is amazing
Sarah is a true artist! Our pictures are beautiful. She is amazing at what she does, truly. She had so many great ideas and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. From posed photos to candids, which are my favorite, she was great at it all. I knew she was gonna be great from our first email. She's so helpful, listens to what you want and don't want, has an eye for detail. ALL OF IT! What's even better, she sent us a gallery of sneak peeks the very next day already edited! Makes me so excited to see the rest of what she captured!!
Our friends and family loved her too!! Means a lot to have someone be so outgoing, helpful, and talented when it comes to such a huge part of your big day!!!

Sarah was awesome! I am so glad that I picked her as our wedding photographer. Our sneak peeks for both engagement shoot and wedding day were gorgeous! Sarah made us feel so comfortable and completely guided us thru the whole thing. She knew exactly what we wanted and I didn’t even have to tell her. I literally felt like she was a part of the family on my wedding night — getting down with us as the line dancing came on. Definitely recommend her for your events! You won’t regret it! -

Sarah creates magic!
Wedding photography was something me and my husband were really concerned about. Neither one of us pose well and we tend to look really awkward. Sarah put us at ease through the whole planning process and we felt like she really understood our vision of how to capture our wedding day. She was so much fun to work with and had us laughing and relaxed the entire time. She has captured our most special moments on our wedding day and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone who is looking for a true professional to create a custom photography experience. -

Absolutely the best photographer!
Sarah was the BEST photographer! She was so communicative, friendly, and down to earth. She really listened to all of our wants and made them happen. She's great at posing you, so don't worry if you don't feel naturally photogenic - she will make you look amazing in every shot! We now have a beautiful engagement shoot and unbelievable pictures of our wedding. Sarah really captured our memories, and I can't recommend her highly enough. -

She's the BEST!
Sarah really is the best! We eloped in Vegas and I was open to ideas on where to shoot. I threw out the red rocks and she had the perfect place to shoot. Our pictures turned our beautiful. I love that she sent EDITED sneak peek photos the next day. I can not say enough good things about her and her photography skills! She's the way to go if you're getting married in Vegas! -

Sarah was incredible to work with! We had a fun bridal session on the strip, and she knew the coolest locations to go to. This was so helpful, since we aren't from Las Vegas. She is an experienced photographer and it shows. I would recommend Sarah for your wedding in Vegas EVERY TIME! -

Wedding Wire asked me to rate Sarah based on 5 things, and I'm a data kinda girl, so I wanted to provide context for all my ratings:
Quality of service: If you look at Sarah's albums, you can see the amazing quality and composition of the photos. But what you can't see is the experience in the moment. Sarah will make you feel so comfortable. She will show you the ropes and how to pose, but she'll also ask "is there any pose that you've seen that we haven't done, but you want to do?" I know everyone has seen at least one breathtaking photo where you think "I'd LOVE to get a picture like that". The fact that Sarah asks this during the session just shows how much she wants you to end up with pictures that you love. Fortunately, she already has a great arsenal of poses, so you'll end up with the gram-worthy photos whether you have inspiration pictures or not. I also just want to mention that Sarah gave me sneak peeks for my engagement, boudoir, and wedding and then gave me the option to have other photos in the albums edited. We didn't need a single engagement photo edited. Why? Because she was in my head or something and she managed to edit all of the pictures in the album that were my favorite, so we didn't need any other pictures edited. Same thing happened with the boudoir shoot - she proactively edited the photos that ended up being my favorite.
Responsiveness: From the very beginning, Sarah never left me hanging. Even at the engagement shoot, she texted me "I'm parking". It's the little things like that that just start to build your trust in someone. Within 5 hours of our photoshoot, I already had previews. This girl is a freaking workhorse. Once again, just book her and you'll see for yourself.
Professionalism: Sarah is a professional through and through. She's been a veteran in the industry and comes from a family of wedding professionals (at least, I think we talked about that?). She's so good at holding the balance between being professional and making you feel like a friend in front of the camera. If you are working with a photographer that's all business and not personable, your pictures are going to show it. Is one chunk of your hair hanging awkwardly over your shoulder all non-committal? Sarah's got your back. We had so many good laughs during our shoots, leading to the most amazing candid pictures that really captured our personality. But then we also got such timeless photos that are classic and beautiful. Get you a photographer who can do both. Get you Sarah.
Value: I love a vendor who is transparent with their pricing because then I'm not wasting my time (or the vendor's time) communicating with someone who is completely out of my budget. Sarah's website listed all the package options so I knew exactly what I was in for when I booked her. Sarah's pricing is like TVs on Black Friday - you aren't getting what you paid for - you're getting well BEYOND what you paid for. Booking a photographer for a major life event can be scary and when I first booked Sarah, her prices were so reasonable and were so far below the quality of the photos in her gallery that I was honestly a little concerned that I was being catfished and was only looking at the handful of photos from each album that were best. Once I got my engagement album, I immediately knew that I had nothing to worry about. If you book Sarah, be sure you have a house with a lot of wall space because you are going to fall in love with at least 50% of your albums and narrowing it down to just a few is going to be TOUGH work.
Flexibility: Here's a perfect example of how flexible Sarah is - about a month before our wedding I decided I wanted to turn our rehearsal dinner into a surprise wedding. So all our guests would arrive thinking it's a rehearsal but then we'd flip the script and let them know it's the real thing. I didn't want to do it without a photographer so if Sarah wasn't available, we were going to scrap the plan. I figured it was a longshot, but I reached out to her, let her know the situation and she was totally on board. Not only that, she let us split our contract hours between Friday and Saturday. Sarah easily could've said "No, sorry. You'll need to book a separate session" and that would've been 100% reasonable because we had a contract and it did not include 2 days of shooting. But instead, she went with the flow (and PS - she was coming back from vacation that day, so she DEFINITELY could've held firm on declining my request). Sarah is the reason we were able to pull off my dream surprise wedding and that's not an exaggeration.
I'm usually really bad about posting reviews, but man, Sarah was just so good to us, I had to share my experience and I told myself that I needed to do everything in my power to convince even just one other couple to book her because I know they won't regret it. If it's not obvious by now, I'm mildly obsessed with Sarah and it's because she's just so real, easy to talk to and hang out with for hours. And on top of that, she's a rockstar photographer and gave us the most incredible memories. It's so rare to come across someone who can capture feelings in a photo and Sarah can do it. If you want a photographer to just take your pictures and be done with you - fine, I'm sure they're out there, but if you want a real relationship with a photographer, someone who becomes invested in you as a couple, and someone who will give you photos that elicit an actual emotion, Sarah is your girl. -

Sarah was great! She was really funny which made our engagement shoot fly by. She even picked us up and dropped us off. We had just met her but she quickly felt like an old friend. I can’t put into words how happy I was with my overall experience with Sarah. Not only were the pictures absolutely beautiful, she was able to capture the little moments and details that I didn’t get to experience on the big day. And now I get to treasure them for a lifetime. I did quite a bit of research on photographers before making my selection and let me tell you, you don’t need go with the budget busting photographers you see up and down this list on WeddingWire to get your dream wedding photos. I picked Sarah for her amazing eye and detailed shots. I’m so glad I did. She was amazing and super flexible! We originally had a big wedding later this year, but we moved it up and Sarah was 100% on broad! Great at communicating and quick. And when we finally met it was like we became instant friends! We did back the bridal shot and the wedding. And she was amazing!! The pictures are breathtaking! I will 1000% recommend her!!! Creative, talented, efficient , and an absolute pleasure to work with!
Sarah was such an amazing photographer to work with. She captured our big day beautifully! We’ve gotten compliments everyday since our wedding (7/25) saying how awesome she was to work with and how much they loved our final pictures.
We did our engagement session with Sarah back in March, at The 7 Magic Mountains in LV. My husband, at the time, had never worked with a photographer and was nervous about our pictures. Sarah coached us through the whole thing and by the end he told me he couldn’t wait to work with her again at the wedding!
Our engagement photos were so beautiful I knew our wedding day pictures would be incredible- and I wasn’t disappointed!
At the wedding, Sarah went above and beyond to make sure I got all the pictures I wanted. She made an extra stop at the men’s house to get “getting ready” pictures of all the guys for me- She was an absolute champ at the neon museum handling the head and being super efficient so no one was uncomfortable in the July heat.
The photos that she shared are gorgeous and she photos she captured radiate nothing but joy and love. From the photos of my husband and me, to the photos of all of our family and friends- she got amazing photos that will last a lifetime and I can’t wait to show off for years to come.
Sarah was my top choice for a wedding photographer and she made our day even more special.

Sarah was amazing! She did our engagement and wedding photos. Sarah is very experienced, efficient and pays attention to the DETAILS (down to a ring turned on a finger). My husband does not enjoy taking photos and she made it easy and painless. He even likes how looks in them. She has a playful approach to her photography which I think make the most beautiful candid photos. I love all of the pictures, especially the golden hour shots she took, breathtaking!
