Sandpearl is EXACTLY what I was looking for for my dream wedding!

We recently had our wedding at the Sandpearl Resort and the experience was amazing from start to finish. All the way from the planning a year and a half out to the big day everyone involved accommodated every request. Mark Boyer and Kaci Sheehan were present every step of the way and very responsive to all our phone calls and emails. They went above and beyond to assist us with our every request and visit, ranging from randomly showing up to measure chairs, see rooms, change dance floor dimensions, and plan ballroom layout. They ensured the day went smoothly and without a hitch, worked with our coordinator and vendors, and worked with us through the unique situation that was the pandemic. I would also like to mention all the staff, from the valets to the greeters and behind the scenes staff that made our experience phenominal. Every one of them made us feel special and like we were their top priority. It’s impossible to mention everyone by name but they absolutely deserve recognition. The food was amazing, and the chefs and banquet staff were able to accommodate every dietary consideration. They did a wonderful job during the ceremony (it was on the beach) keeping crowds quiet and diverting beachgoers around the event. Everything was set up on time and exactly the way they said it would be. The only minor hiccup we had was a confusion on our bride and groom suite being given to a family member. However, they resolved the issue quickly and professionally. It did not detract from our experience at all. The Sandpearl resort is such a beautiful resort and they made our wedding an amazing, wonderful, and unforgettable experience.

Beautiful venue. Excellent staff.

Sandpearl was an excellent choice for our wedding. The beauty of the hotel is magnificent. We considered a few other locations for our wedding but nothing else seemed to compare to the Sandpearl. Our wedding went flawlessly due to the coordination of the Sandpearl's wedding coordinator Erin Burke. Erin worked with our wedding planner to coordinate all the details. Everything from ease of parking for our guests to the setup of the food was provided as promised. The location on the beach also made it possible for us to have the most beautiful pictures and video to remember our wedding day.
If you're looking for a beach wedding that is exquisite and elegant with amazing food and superb views of the beach, we highly recommend Sandpearl.

Out of this world

WOW! I can not say enough good things about the Sandpearl. We wanted a venue on the beach that could handle out 150 person guest list with ease. The Sandpearl was not only able to accommodate us, they went above and beyond for us. Before we even booked with the Sandpearl, I tour the beach spaces, lawn spaces and reception place with Alexis and she was super sweet and personable from the very beginning. In my past life I was an event coordinator so I had a lot of questions, but she answered them all with ease. The venue sold itself, but Alexis was definitely a plus! With countless back and forth emails to make our weekend everything we wanted and more, she handled us with the upmost professionalism.

When we finally arrived for our wedding weekend we were greeted with so much joy and help from every employee. From pulling into valet with two loaded cars taking 3 bell carts to get us to our room, to a free breakfast on the last day we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice with the Sandpearl. We had our rehearsal dinner there too which was so great that everyone could enjoy the resort Friday and Saturday.

We had multiple guests staying at the hotel and using all of the amenities. Both restaurants were amazing, the catering and banquet staff were great and we got tons of compliments on the food, "best wedding food ever". I could go on and on about how much we adored this venue and Alexis for making our wedding weekend perfect but I will spare you.

BOOK THE SANDPEARL FOR YOUR WEDDING!! 100 / 10 would recommend.

Beautiful Venue and Great Wedding Catering Team

To all engaged couples out there l looking at Clearwater: YOU MUST consider the Sandpearl as your venue!

The first and most important selling point for us was the food and beverage. The Sandpearl provides the food and bar services, so we didn't feel pressure to have to shop around for outside food-and-beverage vendors. Also, the quality of the food is completely worth the price. When we did our menu tasting, we were blown away, and our guests also LOVED the Sandpearl's food on our menu. Seriously, your guests will be raving about how good the food is at your wedding. Also, I love how they put little blackberries in the champagne flutes - it was a gorgeous touch.

Alexis Weisner was our contact for our wedding and we are SO appreciative to her. She was so patient with our questions regarding the financial details! Alexis and the Sandpearl team also had delicious amenities waiting for us once we returned to our suite, like Prosecco and chocolate-covered-strawberries. It was an elegant and meaningful gesture. Alexis also went out of her way to meet us on the rehearsal day, and help deliver champagne to the bridal suite on the day-of.

Finally, the location of the Sandpearl is amazing. There's tons of Air BnBs and other affordable hotels all within walking distance if you have guests who don't want to stay on property; however, for those guests who do decide to stay on property, they will have the time of their lives. The pool is fabulous, the beach is so close, and it's great for all ages, which was good for us because we had a lot of kids at the wedding. I recommend renting out a cabana if possible, as they have big TVs, which was great for the sports-fans in our family.

We also want to shout out Jeff and Victor on the catering team who were really awesome during the reception. They made sure the food was coming out on time, and that us as the married couple actually got to eat!

We also recommend booking the Gulf Suite 100. We're SO happy we did this because all the ladies could get ready very near the ceremony space on the Gulf Lawn; it's just a hop-skip-and-a-jump! It was also a great space for the hair and makeup team to get the girls ready. Alexis also suggested we have a light breakfast and lunch delivered to the room and that was SUCH a good idea; I'm so glad we took her advice.

I can't go on enough about the Sandpearl. You will not be disappointed.

Great Experience

We had our wedding at the Sandpearl 5/6/22 and it turned out better than we could have imagined. The wedding ceremony was on the beach and the reception on the gulf lawn- both were beautiful. McKenzie was a pleasure to work with. She was always prompt and accommodating with her responses. The food was amazing, the bartenders were great, and Maria from food and beverages was over the top, phenomenal!
Overall everything was very seamless and I would definitely recommend this venue!

Picture Perfect Wedding

We just got married on January 15, 2022 and let me just say this is truly the best venue in the Tampa/Clearwater area. From the initial conversation with McKenzie and Diana they were so helpful and responsive and anything you needed they were able to help get an answer for it.

The wedding day itself was truly amazing the wait staff in the reception was hands down the best service we have seen anywhere. Special shout out to Maria and Hugo you guys did an outstanding job.

If you want a picture perfect wedding I would recommend having it at the Sandpearl. Thank you guys again for making our dreams come true!

Perfect all inclusive dream wedding venue

My husband and I live in Tampa Bay and decided we wanted to get married on the beach however we did not want the ceremony to be on the sand & we still wanted to have an elegant, traditional wedding. Sandpearl made that happen! We got married on the gulf lawn looking out to the beach/ocean and then had a reception in the Hunter ballroom. The food was absolutely amazing our whole experience with the staff was incredible - they really went above and beyond especially during a pandemic they met all our needs and made sure to address all our concerns and still make it the perfect wedding day!!
We also stayed at the resort for a few days after for our minimoon since we could not travel internationally and it was so amazing going to the spa and eating at Caretta’s. A few shout outs to Jim Jenkins who was our main contact and who sent us a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries on our wedding night as well as Chef “Bubbles”or Champagne who made the food absolutely perfect! ( so many compliments esp about the short rib!) a few servers that we loved Maria and Taz!! it’s a great venue and vacation experience even living close by, we will definitely be back!!

Absolutely incredible

I can’t say enough about how amazing our wedding was at The Sandpearl Resort. From beginning to end, our wedding consultant Jennifer Guidry was absolutely perfect. The weekend of the wedding went so smooth. You hear stories of how things go wrong at peoples weddings, well not with us! The staff was incredible, the set up was exactly what we wanted. Our guests were RAVING about how it was the best wedding food they ever had. All of our vendors even commented on the ease of the day. My husband and I have already said we will be back to Sandpearl for our anniversary! It is now a very special place to our hearts. If you are looking to get married in Clearwater, look no further than the Sandpearl Resort and Jennifer. You won’t be disappointed. It truly was the best day of our lives!

Absolutely Perfect

We got married at the Sandpearl and it was so beautiful and everything was done so seamlessly thanks to Katherine King and the staff. Every detail was taken care of and Katherine even came to my hotel room while getting ready to make sure everything was going good. The hotel sent chocolate covered strawberries Friday when I checked in and even Saturday night after the wedding we came back to a bottle of champagne and more chocolate covered strawberries by Katherine. I had a guest or two show up even though they sent their RSVP as decline and Katherine ensured they had a place and meal. Guests raved about the service from the staff and the food! Every meal was served hot. Nothing went wrong with our wedding and I attribute this to Katherine. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

A Perfect Wedding

Our daughter was married at the Sandpearl and, from the initial visit, through the planning stages, to day of the wedding, it was a pleasure. Jennifer G. was incredibly knowledgeable, flexible and willing to make helpful and practical suggestions, which we appreciated. She inspired full confidence and was easily accessible to answer our questions. The wedding was absolutely awesome - a beautiful setting, fabulous food, friendly and attentive staff, great relationship with the band, photographer, and other vendors. If we had to sum up our wedding experience at the Sandpearl in one word, it would have to be..."Perfect"!

Dream Beach Wedding

I’ll admit, I was skeptical about getting married at the Sandpearl because of the price, but we fell in love with it and decided to get married there anyway. The team at the Sandpearl did not disappoint! Everything was incredible. Jennifer, the catering manager, was pleasant and easy to work with. She made sure everything was done according to our plan and offered helpful tips when we needed help deciding things. The whole team did a wonderful job!

The most beautiful place ever!

I had my son and daughter in law’s wedding at the Sandpearl Resort on April 27, 2019. It was the most beautiful wedding I have ever attended. My family from New York were in awe over the wedding. The views were breathtaking. We had the ceremony on the beach and the cocktail hour on the Gulf Lawn overlooking the water. The reception was in the Hunter Ballroom which was gorgeous. The staff at the resort were exceptional. From management staff to room service staff. They attended to your every need and were so kind. The hotel is beautiful and the minute you are greeted at the front door you feel like your in paradise. We actually had a wedding weekend, Friday night Rehearsal Dinner on the beach, Saturday the wedding and Sunday morning farewell brunch. None of this could be done with the help, knowledge and expertise from the Catering Manager Jennifer Guidry. Her attention to detail is phenomenal. She is so knowledgeable and the sweetest kindest person I have ever met. She went above and beyond for myself and the wedding couple. She helped with the food choices and made suggestions. The food...OMG people are still talking about it. A shout out to Chef! Everything was so delicious! Jennifer has the patience of a saint. I know at times I drove her nuts! LOL Jennifer is a very special person that touched my heart and she will always be there. I will never forgot how special she helped made the day. Thank you again Jennifer.

Best day ever

Our big day at the Sandpearl was PERFECT! Leading up to it, Jennifer was so responsive to my many emails and provided great advice and insight. The entire weekend, my husband, family and guests received the best service. The day of, everything went off without one issue! All that time planning really paid off with the help of Jennifer and her well trained staff. I can’t recommend the Sandpearl more! Our wedding day was the best day ever thanks to this wonderful venue and the people who work there!

Absolutely Amazing

We got married here May of 2019 and had our wedding on the gulf lawn and the reception in the Hunter Ballroom. The entire staff at the SandPearl was amazing. Most of our planning was done though Jennifer Guidry with the SandPearl and she was super on the ball, helpful, and just a pleasure to work with. May 11, 2019 Sandpearl Wedding was just Spectacular!

The Sandpearl was amazing from start to finish in making my daughter's wedding perfect in every way. Jennifer Guidry was a delight to work with and made sure everything ran smoothly. We had the wedding, cocktail hour, and reception all outdoors. Dancing in the sand under the stars, following a spectacular sunset, was just magical! A million thanks to Jennifer and the entire Sandpearl staff. I would highly recommend the Sandpearl Resort.

Most amazing wedding stay

My (new) husband and I recently had our wedding at the Sandpearl and I could not recommend it enough. All of our guests raved about their stay and our friends have already started talking about a return trip. Jennifer Guidry was our hotel/wedding coordinator. She was a dream and treated us like royalty - especially on our wedding day. The service is amazing across all parts of the hotel from the mimosa station when you check in, to the beautiful rooms and super comfy beds, to the incredible pool, friendly staff, and delicious food. We would do it over a million times, our stay and the day was just so special.

Beyond Great!

I highly recommend the Sandpearl Resort! Jennifer and company did an amazing job of accommodating to all of our needs to really put together our dream wedding. So many of our guests complimented how beautiful the resort is and how amazing the food was. We will be returning to the Sandpearl as guests in the future.

Our experience: Perfect

I can't thank you enough for all that the staff at the Sandpearl and especially Jennifer Guidry, who has done so much for us leading up to the wedding and during our wedding. From the champagne offered in the lobby, to the cabana pool service, to the INCREDIBLE food during our wedding, I can't say how perfect everything went! Our (out of town) guests have told us they will even consider flying back and staying at the Sandpearl because of their professionalism, amazing service, and eagerness to make everyone happy!!! Definitely recommend them and Jennifer!!!

Exceptional

I got married at the Sandpearl last weekend and all I can say is WOW !! The Sandpearl really exceeded our expectations ! We worked with Cheyanne from the beginning to end and we could not thank her enough ! She made sure everything was perfect for our special day ! She was beyond professional and made sure all food came out in a timely matter ! My guests after even said Cheyanne was on point with everything all day ! We could not thank her enough and the Sandpearl for making us have the most wonderful wedding day ! It was truly a dream come true!!

Not only is the sandpearl's ground breathtaking, but their staff is truely amazing! The Sandpearl Resort exceeded every single expectation for our dream destination wedding. From beginning to end, from the tasting and stay after the wedding, everything was flawless and fantastic. Our site tour roughly 6 months before the wedding was everything and more, and truly blew every other venue we had previously seen out of the water. The staff at the resort made us extremely comfortable choosing them as our wedding venue. In the months leading up to our big day, the staff at the Sandpearl: Emily, Jennifer, Kristin, and Danielle, all helped plan the perfect destination wedding weekend. The wedding planning staff was available at all times to answer any type of question or concern, and were very accomodating with specific requests and demands that a destination wedding can have. Once at the hotel for our wedding weekend, the entire hotel staff was friendly, gracious, and pleasant to meet the wedding party and friends who would be spending the long weekend at the hotel. Our friends and family raved about the overall demeanor of all of the staff and beauty of the hotel facilities. Our guests were also extremely impressed with the luxurious accommodations, delicious food and drinks provided site wide, and just the ease of how every thing went from the beginning to the end of their stay. The Sandpearl was the PERFECT wedding location for us!! We wanted a beach wedding, but still formal and classy and the Sandpearl delivered. The resort was amazing and the rooms were great. The customer service all weekend was wonderful. Debbie and her team did a fantastic job!!! She made sure everything went smoothly and on time. She really made me feel special and took care of all the behind the scenes details for me. The food was incredible. All our guests were very impressed with the venue, the service, and the food. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour on the Gulf Lawn with the beach behind us and the reception in the ballroom. The view was exactly what we wanted. THANK YOU soon much for everything, we can't wait to come back and visit one day!

Besides the fact that The Sandpearl Resort is the #1 Resort & Spa in Florida, it's truly breath taking. Our coordinator for the resort, Emily Olivieri, was fantastic! She truly helped me every step of the way through the months of planning and was very responsive when I needed her. The wedding ceremony & reception was a fairy tale and they set everything up as requested. I would highly recommend the venue for your wedding, it's was everything I wanted and more. Thank you to the staff at the Sandpearl and to my coordinator, Emily, you all really helped create a wonderful memory for my husband and I. I cannot thank you enough.

Debbie made my wedding day an absolute dream come true! She listened to everything I wanted and made it happen. My husband and I were engaged at The Sandpearl a year to the date before our wedding and I knew then that I wouldn't be getting married anywhere else. The resort is beautiful without being "stuffy" and the entire staff is more than friendly and ready to go above and beyond for their guests. We are so thankful for everything they did to make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect!

Sandpearl Resort was such an amazing spot for our beach wedding! My husband was actually iffy about getting married about on a beach, because it's not as private as an indoor venue, but the venue at the Sandpearl made him change his mind. It's on a secluded part of the beach, and yes other people can see you (it is a beach after all), but it gives you the privacy that a lot of other venues don't have, because it is on the side of the resort and not smack dab in the middle. The hotel is gorgeous! All of our guests were stunned. We had our reception in the smallest of the ballrooms (we had an intimate wedding of 45), and it was the perfect amount of space for dancing, socializing, and eating! It made our wedding feel very elegant, but still very simple and intimate like we wanted. Emily was the person we worked with at Sandpearl, and she was fantastic. She always got back to me quickly when I had questions, and made sure that we were in control and happy throughout the whole process, from our initial meeting to the tasting to the big day. She made us feel like 2 people she really cared about, and not just people getting married there. I honestly couldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere else. The first time we walked in we felt so welcomed and struck buy how beautiful everything is, we just had that feeling that Sandpearl was the place where we'd get married. This was an amazing place to get married, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful beach venue that's unforgettable!

Our wedding weekend was a DREAM!!!!!! Having it at The Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach was a true treat for us and our guests. The team at Sandpearl handled every detail for us from the check-in, pool services, wedding ceremony, reception and the farewell brunch on Sunday. They made everyone of my guests feel welcomed and truly special. From Debbie to Shelly at the front desk and of course the amazing team at the pool... everyone is so friendly ALL THE TIME!!!!

Working with the event team of Emily, Rubin and Katie was a true delight. They helped me pull together my dream wedding and make sure we made it memorable in every way possible. All my guests commented on the food at all our events. It was AMAZING... our cocktail hour, to our reception and ended with our Farewell Brunch. TOP NOTCH in everyday. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone's wedding or just a get get away weekend. We are already planning our 1st anniversary trip back to the Sandpearl.

I had my wedding about two weeks ago at the Sandpearl Resort with Debbie as my catering manager. Debbie was amazing!! She made sure that everything was perfect and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The resort is the most beautiful resort I have ever stayed at, and all of my family would agree. My husband and I left the day after the wedding for our honeymoon in Antigua, and wished we would have stayed there. The entire staff is very professional and will treat you like gold. Our guests cant get over how amazing the food was for the rehearsal, and also the wedding reception. I highly recommend the Sandpearl and ask for Debbie!!!!

The Sandpearl Resort is an amazing place to have a wedding. It is absolutely beautiful! I got married outside on the Gulf Lawn and it was perfect. No detail for our wedding / reception went overlooked. If something went wrong we have no idea. They are a well oiled machine there and have the whole wedding process down pat. The food was spectacular! All of our guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. If you are looking for a place to have a wedding in the Clearwater area, The Sandpearl is it, nobody does it better!

We chose the Sandpearl Resort as our venue for our destination wedding and worked with Michele Johnson. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our decision. It was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony was on the pool lawn in front of the waterfall, the cocktail hour was on the outdoor balcony, and the reception was in the Harbor Ballroom. Michele did a great job in corresponding with us (as well as my parents) in the months and weeks up to the wedding. She then went above and beyond on the day of the rehearsal and the day of the wedding to make sure everything got done and ran smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about her and the Sandpearl staff. To give a couple examples of how they went above and beyond…my moms shoes were misplaced during the reception and one of the service staff went around the ballroom looking under tables until she found my mom’s shoes. In addition, I lost the six pence that my dad placed in my shoe when we went out on the beach for photos after the ceremony. Michele knew this meant a lot to me and she and her staff continued to look for this in the days and weeks after the wedding. While it seems nearly impossible that it would have been found, I received an email from her just the other day. They had found it and she had it ready to send back to me. Bottom line—not only did they provide great service before the wedding and on the weekend of the wedding—but they continued to provide amazing service even in the weeks after the wedding (even had the six pence not been found, I appreciated the fact that they notified their staff and continued to watch out for it)! Michele, her staff, and the Sandpearl were amazing to work with. And our family and friends agreed with us and thought the venue was absolutely beautiful.

My wedding and reception at the Sandpearl Resort were an absolute dream. I could never thank Debbie Glancy and Jennifer Guidry enough for everything they did to make my day perfect. I cannot begin to imagine the work that these two amazing women did behind the scenes over the 6 months of planning to create the day that I will forever be so grateful for.

From the moment we first called to inquire about having our wedding at the Sandpearl, Debbie and Jennifer have been kind, helpful, responsive and flexible. Not one single thing that we asked for was ever a problem. These two ladies are go getters, and they know how to make things happen.

The beach at the Sandpearl cannot be topped. It is a gorgeous, clean, scenic beach for a wedding. We loved having our feet in the white floury sand for the big moment. Our reception was in the Harbor Ballroom, and it was just perfect. The room was stunning. The food was absolutely delicious, and every moment went smoothly.

I will forever have the most perfect memories of my wedding at the Sandpearl, and now we know where we will be celebrating our anniversaries too!

I couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else but at Sandpearl. Debbie Glancy was our catering manager and she was amazing...awesome communication skills, honest opinion about vendor options, and was even better the actual wedding day. We were lucky that we had awesome weather on our wedding day and was able to use the pool lawn for our cocktail hour. Our guests complimented us on the never-ending supply of food, the friendly bartenders and wait-staff. If there was a glitch, neither me, my mom, or our guests knew about it. Only wish I could do the day over. Highly recommended reception site. Best hotel on Clearwater Beach by far!!

Not only did the wedding day go off without a hitch (Thanks to Debbie, other hotel staff, and our excellent vendors), but our stay and our guest's stay at the resort couldn't have been more perfect. When I first got engaged my first choice for my wedding venue was the Sandpearl Resort. It was everything that I had dreamed of. I wanted something that was right by the beach but not on the sand. The Gulf Lawn was the perfect location. My husband and I worked with Michele Johnson, the Director of Catering and Conference Services. Michele and her team are phenomenal to say the least. No matter how big or small my questions or requests were Michele was able to answer them and exceeded my expectations. Michele was so easy to work with! She is very accommodating, easy to get in touch with, and very professional. The staff at the Sandpearl made myself, my husband, and all of my guests feel like celebrities. From the time I pulled into valet, until the time I left there was no aspect that I was unpleased with. The service at the Sandpearl is impeccable! We held our rehearsal dinner on the Gulf Lawn and North Beach. Our ceremony was on the Gulf Lawn, cocktail hour was in the Hunter Ballroom Foyer, and our reception was in the Hunter Ballroom. We were married on a Friday and were able to enjoy the resort with our family and friends (many of whom were from out of town) the entire weekend. I had many guests say it was the best wedding they have ever been to. It was the best day of my life and I have Michele and the staff at the Sandpearl to thank for that. Thank you so much! We cannot wait to come back!

We chose the Sandpearl based on the reviews and also having seen it a few times whilst staying in Clearwater beach, when we visited last year to view it we knew we wanted our wedding there. I planned my wedding from the UK, speaking to the sandpearl by email or phone. Our wedding on 28th May 2014 was only a small intimate one, 21 of us in total and it was the day we wished for in every way. Our wedding planner Skyler was excellent, and knew exactly how I wanted everything. We had a beach ceremony, cocktail hour on the balcony and then a meal in the private dining room which is off the restaurant. It was all perfect, decorated beautifully and the food was amazing! Everyone was so impressed with the venue and staff.

I would definately recommend the Sandpearl it is absolutely beautiful and the staff can't do enough for you. I had such a great day, and wasn't worried or stressed about anything at all.

AHHHH! i just had my wedding at The Sandpearl Resort on May 10th and it was hands down one of the best days of my life. I cannot wait to go back for my first anniversary. :) Michele was my site coordinator and she was awesome. She got back to me in a timely manner, would ease my worries about wedding details, and on the big day (and leading up to it) she worked with my day of coordinator to finalize all details....and she did this all while working another wedding on that same day!!!
The Resort staff was all super friendly. George, my captain, helped bustle my dress when i couldnt find my MOH and he kept the guests moving to where we all needed to be. the food was all sooo sooo soo good, i'm glad they had a wonderful tasting for us (come hungry) bc i did not get to eat enough on my big day!- more bc of my dress and i think i was too nervous or excited to eat? (never thought i would say that!). The service really is top notch. I am so glad my sister found this venue for me!!!

I got married at the Sandpearl Resort on 9/8/2013 and I had an AMAZING experience. I worked with Michele Johnson and she went above and beyond to make our experience special. Everything was of the highest quality and Michele's follow up and attention to detail is unmatched. I hired a day of coordinator for my wedding day who did not do a great job but Michele stepped right up and did the day of coordinator's job without a complaint. She made sure everything flowed seamlessly and even wiped the sand off my feet after my husband and I finished taking our wedding pictures on the beach. All of the staff at the Sandpearl especially George & Michele went out of their way to create an amazing experience for our guests. Our wedding had many international guests flying in from Canada, China, Jamaica and all over the world and the Sandpearl did not disappoint. Many of the guest commented on how great the overall experience was and that this was the BEST wedding they have ever attended. In fact, many of the guest said they would definiteIy come back to the Sandpearl for a vacation. I initially thought the Sandpearl was a bit pricey but it was WORTH EVERY PENNY. If you want quality, service and an overall amazing wedding experience go with the Sandpearl you won't regret it !

The Sandpearl is the PERFECT venue for your wedding. We were married on December 21, 2013 at the Sandpearl Hotel. We planned our wedding from Chicago, and the Sandpearl made it so easy for us to plan our wedding from a distance. Michele Johnson and her team are excellent—they worked with us on the menu, were flexible when we wanted to make a last minute change to the ceremony site, and treated us and our guests with such excellent client service. We are still hearing from our guests on how much they loved the food, the venue, and everyone at the Sandpearl. I felt like we had a great team supporting us every step of the wedding planning process, and we can’t wait to return to the Sandpearl again as a married couple.

Michele Johnson is the best catering manager. She became my friend and advisor and to this day I stay in touch with her whenever we're headed to Clearwater Beach. After our tasting with wine pairings I mixed and matched from 2 banquet menus to create just what my husband and I wanted. The pricing was wonderfu and Michele worked with mel. I omitted a soup course and got the filet mignon in on budget. We selected a formal sit-down full service dinner and an open bar for 5 hours.

Immediately post ceremony we had a cocktail hour with butlered hors d'ouevres featuring sushi, grilled scallops, chilled jumbo shrimp and other notable delicacies. Following that we were ushered into the terraced banquet room overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
Sandpearl's unique banquet salad was wrapped within lengths of thin cucumber, fashioning a "bowl" type of containment for the baby field greens and two fresh dressings were offered by servers. Following the salad was a lemon sorbet palate cleanser. Entrees had been preselected by guests to include either filet mignon or Gulf grouper, piped spiced potatoes and bundles of asparagus tied with a red pepper ribbon. Sauces included citrus buerre blanc and cabernet mushroom. Portions were hearty appetite, full-sized and cooked to perfection. The plating was exquisite and people reflected they felt appreciated by the quality and "class" of the food, beverages and service. Wedding cake followed the dinner and then everyone danced the night away. My husband and I always relish our romantic dinners at the Sandpearl Resort's exquisite restaurant overlooking the beach. They are a better value for the money and provide uupscale service compared to all other venues where I inquired. Thank you Michele and Sandpearl for the best time of our lives.

We were very pleased with our decision to have our wedding at the Sandpearl Resort. The facilities, staff and overall experience are top notch. We toured many venues in Clearwater and Sanibel Island, and when we toured Sandpearl it was an easy decision. From the minute we walked into Sandpearl and set foot on the beach, we knew this is where we wanted to get married. The Sandpearl Resort and in particular their wedding coordinator Debbie Glancy did an amazing job for our wedding reception and cocktail hour. Debbie was a pleasure to work with - she was very patient with our requests and always offered her expert advice. From the food tasting to the big day, Debbie was awesome. She was incredibly organized and was easily able to accommodate for all of my crazy requests to make our wedding reception perfect and personal. I highly recommend the Sandpearl and Debbie. We had our destination wedding on 10/27/12 at the Sandpearl Resort and it was exceptional! We chose this hotel solely based on pictures and after talking to Michelle Johnson she made me feel like everything will be taken care of. I am a very picky and detailed person and Michele was very accommodating and patient with me.

My original room was the Cove room but after my final guest count she realized we wouldn't fit in there so she was gracious enough to move us to the Harbor ballroom. Despite the several emails with questions and suggestions and even when i didn't get it she was still patient and pleasant :-) Michele, i really appreciate you and you are the BEST.

The service from the Sandpearl staff was also great and the food during the reception was simply outstanding. I'm originally from Ghana and i want to thank the Chef for customizing my menu by adding a side dish from my culture - all my guests raved about the food! Although I couldn't eat on our wedding day due to excitement i was lucky i had tasted the food during the food tasting a couple of days before the wedding so I knew what they were talking about. Wish i had told the captain to have my food sent to our suite :-) Even with our cocktail hr being moved from the balcony to inside due to winds from Hurricane Sandy, it didn't change how i felt about the day.

Up to date my guests continue to talk about the wedding as the best they have attended. It wasn't just a wedding it was a family weekend away for them. Most have expressed going back just to visit.

I will recommend the Sandpearl to any couple who is looking to have an elegant, stress free wedding - although expensive it is worth every penny!

We worked with Michele Johnson at the Sandpearl and she was WONDERFUL!!! She made the entire process so easy and our wedding day was perfect!! The entire staff of the Sandpearl were wonderful and we've received rave reviews from our family and friends that attended that it was one of, if not the best wedding they've ever been to!! Right on Clearwater Beach, it is not an average hotel, but a vacation spot for anyone. Two words: Michele Johnson. She worked with us on every request/question we had and came through without any complaints. We are very picky when it comes to details and Michele recognized those details and catered to every one of them! Thanks again Michele!

We chose the Sandpearl for our destination wedding on 10/19/12...and it was fabulous! We chose not to hire an outside wedding coordinator; however, Michelle Johnson, our Sandpearl wedding coordinator, had it all together. From ordering the green runners to calming my Dad down and showing him the "holding room" really exists...her services were outstanding! We opted for a simple rehearsal dinner on the beach with S'mores, a beach ceremony and a reception in the Cove Room. We really felt that everything was perfect! Our guests had such a good time while staying at the Sandpearl, and we've received many compliments including how scrumptious the food was at the reception. The service from the staff at the Sandpearl was also outstanding. Please share our gratitude with them, especially with Andrew (the main bartender) and our captain at the reception. We couldn't have asked for anything better. I would truly recommend the Sandpearl for a wedding ceremony/reception!

There are absolutely no words for how amazing the Sandpearl was for my wedding on July 22, 2012. Upon arrival there were a few hiccups, when I mentioned them to Debbie, my catering manager, she went out of her way to make sure I was completely happy. We were able to customized our menu to exactly what we wanted. Everyone has said how wonderful the food was as well as the venue. Most of my guests stayed at the hotel and we all enjoyed the pool, restaurant, and beach. The food was fantastic for every meal. It rained on our wedding day and our wedding had to be moved inside. We were using the Cove room for the reception. That is where the wedding took place. It was still amazing!!! We had a great view of the ocean and beach without the humidity and rain! it was a very intimate affiar and the room looked gorgeous. Our guest enjoyed a cocktail hour outside the Cove room while we took pictures and then everyone was shocked how great the room looked for dinner in such a quick turn around time. The room was a great size for our wedding party (49 people) and everyone felt comfortable. The price was very similar to other hotels in the area for what we wanted. But the attention to detail and little things really set the Sandpearl apart. Debbie even had us upgraded to Suite 100. When we arrived we had sandwiches, champaigne, and other goodies. Not to mention there were rose petals everywhere! I loved the Sandpearl and cannot thank them enough for such an amazing day!

There are several beautiful resorts that line the gulf coast of Florida that would make a nice venue for a wedding, much less a beach wedding. I was looking for exceptional, and I found it at the SANDPEARL RESORT! The service was second to none, the accommodations elegantly comfortable, the food tantalizing, and the setting was totally amazing! The staff went above and beyond their service excellence making sure that our guest were comfortable, happy and wanting for nothing. Management was at hand to oversee that every detail was smoothly executed with poise and elegance, ready to eradicate even the smallest issue that might arise. My guest, 200+, all exclaimed nothing but true pleasure from their stay, and many are already planning a trip back in the near furure. As for my beach wedding... BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!

This is the place to get married on the beach. This was a destination wedding for us, so we had never met our catering manager until a few days before the wedding. We worked with Michelle and she was fantastic. We talked on the phone and emailed...she's very down to business and straightforward...which is what we loved. There was not a question as to what the cost of things would be...etc. They gave us a list of preferred vendors (use that list!) who were awesome. Also, everything was so convenient to the location...for us and all our guests. ALL of the staff were amazing....bartendars, waitstaff...everyone. If you are looking to go with the cheapest place...don't look here. It's not the cheapest place, but it was SO worth every cent. If we had to do it all over again, we'd still choose the Sandpearl. We can't wait to go back and visit!

Also, there was another wedding going on the same day as mine, but it was never an issue. They kept everything/everyone very seperate from the other wedding.

Being a bride from Canada and getting married in Florida proved to be much easier than I first thought...mostly because of Jessica Gillespie, the most amazing wedding coordinator at the Sandpearl Resort. Jessica assisted myself and my family in each and every step along the way. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at the Sandpearl and all 3 events were fabulous! Debbie Glancy was our wedding coordinator for the day, she went above and beyond our expectations. Everything was extremely organized and on time. The food was spectacular, hotel staff were professional, accommodating and courteous. They helped provide centerpieces and decor for the cocktail hour and reception which helped a lot! I can't say one negative comment about our whole experience at the Sandpearl. I highly recommend having your wedding there.

Debbie made our wedding day perfect and most of all our planning was done over the phone and by email. She had the day entirely under control and we had nothing to worry about. I am so happy we had our reception at the Sand Pearl Resort. Everything was absolutely perfect! We could not have asked for better weather and Debbie (wedding coordinator) made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was absolutely amazing and we received numerous comments about it. We had our cocktail reception on the gulf lawn and then our formal reception in the Hunter ballroom. It really seemed like a 5 star wedding. Then we stayed 2 nights in the Gulfside Suite which was private. It was a perfect place for all my bridesmaids to stay the first night and get ready on our wedding day. We had our hair and makeup vendors come there so we did not even need to leave the room. My husband and I reserved a 2 bedroom gulffront suite for him and his Groomsmen to stay and get ready which worked out perfectly. Then we enjoyed our wedding night together in the huge suite and woke up with an amazing view of the ocean! I would definiately recommend the Sand Pearl if you are looking for the PERFECT reception for your guests.

We just got married on Feb 27, 2011 at the Sandpearl Resort. We worked with Lora Lee and Michele and had an amazing experience. The entire staff at the resort were extremely helpful and accommodating. We planned our wedding from Wisconsin without ever seeing the resort or meeting with Michele or Lora Lee in person, which was a bit scary. Lora Lee was so great in getting back to us promptly and answering all of our million questions! When we finally got to the resort and met with everyone in person we couldn't believe how beautiful the resort was in person. It exceeded our expectations by far. We were also fortunate to be the only wedding at the Sandpearl that day so were provided with an upgraded outdoor cocktail hour on the lawn which was amazing for our Wisconsin guests! Michele and Lora Lee did an amazing Job setting up all of the decorations that we had for the ceremony. They were very detailed and communicated all changes with us. The Sandpearl staff goes above and beyond to make your wedding unbelievable. Two different staff members ran to CVS for us throughout our evening. This is something they did not need to do but they were happy to do it. From the hotel ambassador to the servers and bartender, the staff at the Sandpearl was fantastic. I recommend this venue to anyone looking to have an amazing and unforgettable wedding, for both you and your guests!

I was married on 10-10-10 at the Sandpearl Resort. I had Debbie as my catering manager and she was just amazing!! She made sure my day was everything I could have dreamed of and more!! The Sandpearl is the most beautiful Resort I have ever been to, not to mention how wonderful the staff is. Everyone at this resort will treat you as well as your guest like gold!! The Sandpearl was amazing! They were so accomodating and even worked with us on price. We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception, and they were so amazing to take care of details and take care of the wedding party. Upon arrival for a tour they offer you champange, from that point on I was hooked.

The Sandpearl Resort is on Clearwater Beach, Florida and is an awesome location for a wedding. The whole staff is very accommodating and service oriented - very friendly, too. Your guests will have a great time. This is a 4 star location, so while expensive, you get what you pay for. It was a great wedding experience except for the rain out on the beach. I wish I would have insisted on going out to the beach when the rain stopped because the back up location was a bust - we were suppose to be in a section of the ballroom with high ceilings and a beautifully draped window as the back up. Instead we ended up in a section of the ballroom that was a closed in box with no decor whatsoever. (Be sure your contract is specific and doesn't leave the ballroom choice up to the hotel). Since the beauty of the beach was suppose to be our backdrop, we did not have flowers, an archway, etc. My advice to you would be to plan to have something such as these items for a backdrop as part of your backup plan OR INSIST ON GETTING YOUR WAY! (which I did not, so I take some of the responsibility). All of this aside, the reception was wonderful. The dinner food was delicious and the pre-reception cocktail hour was raved about. Everyone said this was one of the best weddings they have been to. We highly recommend this place. I am sure it will be one of the top beach location choices, if it is not already. You will probably need to book early. The Catering Manager was a wonderful person to work with. We were so glad The Sandpearl found her as our first experience with their prior Catering Manager left a bad impression.

Amazing! We are from Chicago and were looking for a location to host our destination wedding.. from the minute we stepped into the Sandpearl Resort we were impressed! Jennifer Guidry and Kristin Bolduc were absolutely amazing! Not only were they our event coordinators but they were also our wedding planners! We used all their recommendations for vendors.. from musicians and dj services to video/photography and a salon! We couldn't have asked for a better location or better service for our "big day".... HIGHLY RECOMMEND this team and resort to anyone looking for a top notch resort in the Clearwater Beach, FL area. We hope to be back very soon! ( 4.9.. just because nobody is perfect.. haha)

Sandpearl did an excellent job getting us in last minute for our wedding. Everything was arranged beautifully and they were willing to go above and beyond for us. The Sandpearl is THE place to have your destination wedding. We were only able to visit Clearwater twice during our planning - on the first trip we selected the Sandpearl and on the second we did our tasting. Everything else was done over the phone and via email. Debbie was extremely responsive and made me confident that every last detail would be completed. The food was superb, we got so many complements on the food and the service. The captain of the team even made sure we got appetizers and drinks since we were away taking pictures during our cocktail hour. It was wonderful. Debbie Glancy and her team made all of our guests feel welcome and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding experience was exceptional. Without hesitation I would have my wedding here - you will not regret it!!

We were married May 4th at the Sandpearl on the gulf lawn. Everything was absolutely amazing! Everyone there was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We worked with Debbie and she was great. Obviously there are a lot of weddings at the Sandpearl so I definitely recommend hiring a wedding planner as well to help out if you plan to have a big wedding. We had Suite 100 on the beach for the weekend and let me tell you how convenient this was, definitely worth the money! We used this room for the bridal party to get ready the day of the wedding and as a common area to mingle/meet up. The staff at the sandpearl is great and they took great care of my husband and I during the entire weekend and attended to us all night during the reception. This is a beautiful place that I highly recommend! We cant wait to go back next year for our anniversary! :)

We worked with Michele and she was absolutely wonderful! We had an idea of how our wedding was supposed to be and the SandPearl and Michele and her team greatly exceeded it! We asked a lot of her, and she came through with flying colors. Without her our wedding would not have gone so smoothly and turned out so beautifully. Michele Johnson at the Sandpearl helped us every step of the way including the day of when our limo was a no show and we had to call taxi cabs to drive us to the church. The grounds were amazingly beautiful, staff is polished, & the food was delicious!! Customized my own menu and the head chef made sure it was exactly how I wanted it - even brought up all of my personal items to the room at the end of the night. They left us sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries, and champagne in the room which was a great extra touch .... You do not have to worry about a thing if you chose this venue.

We had our ceremony and reception at The Sandpearl. I grew up on the beach and knew this is where we had to have our wedding. I didn’t want to deal with the elements, so we got married in a portion of the Hunter Ballroom. Our cocktail hour was on the Gulf Lawn followed by the reception in the entire Hunter Ballroom. The event went wonderfully and the staff at The Sandpearl is amazing. They were always checking to ensure we had everything we needed. The food is top notch – we had a catered breakfast the day of which was wonderful and all our guests loved our hors d'oeuvres and our main course. We had a crepe station and a breakfast sandwich late night snack as well…all amazing! Pricing at The Sandpearl is not cheap – but you get what you pay for. The location and atmosphere is fantastic and the guests are wowed from the second they walk in the door. One piece of advice – review your contracts and push for the exact wedding you want. They might try to push back a little – but in the end it is worth it – you’ll get the exact wedding and event you always dreamed of. I know we did!

We were married at the Sandpearl on January 14, 2012. Our coordinator Debbie Glancy was so great, and she worked with us for almost 2 years planning the wedding of our dreams! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. If you are looking for an incredible beach venue in the St. Pete/Clearwater area, this is the best of the best! Yes, the cost is on the expensive side, but you will not be disappointed on your wedding day! We loved the Sandpearl so much, we even postponed our wedding an extra year to be able to increase our budget.

The staff was amazing and managed to cover every detail. For all of you brides-to-be, you won't have that worrying feeling that something might not be done right, or you've forgotten something. It was wonderful to not feel that extra stress, and be able to completely enjoy our wedding! I felt like there was always a staff member cleaning or tidying up our reception area. We also loved our food! It was very flavorful and had alot of variety.

Our ceremony was held outdoors on the Gulf Lawn, and the reception was in the Hunter Ballroom. The ballroom itself is beautiful, yet neutral, so it is easy to incorporate your colors and decor. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for that dream location on the beach!

Quick Suggestions:
If your budget is a concern, be flexible and consider the off-season months when they are not as busy.
Use their preferred vendor recommendations if possible! Most of them know each other and frequently work together, making the entire process go smoothly.
Get the boneless short ribs! They are sooooo good!

We had a wonderful...dare I say perfect....wedding at the Sandpearl. The contact person Tanya Clark was friendly, professional and responsive. We live out of state so this was a true 'destination' wedding for us with 95% of our 103 guest coming in from out of state as well. Tanya was great and did everything she could to make sure we had the best wedding possible. The Sandpearl is an exclusive but popular resort so if you are getting married during peak calendar time....be prepared for a very crowded hotel. Fortunately, our event was held 2 weeks after Easter so the spring break crowd had died down a bit. Tanya is a very busy person so she has limited contact with you until about 6 weeks prior to the event...but she is very responsive to email and phone calls. The 2 weeks prior to the event....she was in constant contact and was very clear and concise with her information. The day of the event she was always around with her clipboard and her smile keeping us on schedule. The entire staff at the Sandpearl was excellent. They atttended to my every need promptly and politely and always wanted to do more!! The resort is absolutely beautiful and if you want to get married on a beach....this is the place to go!

The most beautiful hotel/resort. The awesome setting made for the best wedding weekend ever! My only complaints are: the towel lady by the pool must have asked us if we were actually guests of the hotel a hundred times (apparently we were having too much fun), and the back up room we booked in case of rain (and it did rain) was not the room we ended up in. For a brand new resort they exceeded my expectations and my new husband and I plan on going there for a weekend every year for our anniversary- and our friends all plan on joining us! I couldn't not have picked a better place to get married!

Our wedding was lovely and all of our guests were extremely impressed! The food and service at our reception were outstanding. The staff executed our ceremony perfectly on the day of the wedding. Overall, the staff was easy to work with and I would recommend this venue to anyone that is looking for an elegant beach wedding!

Beautiful resort! A little on the pricey side, but high in quality. This is a very classy, elegant, and even breathtaking venue. We had our ceremony on the beach and reception upstairs. Debbie Glancey went above and beyond to accomodate us. Food was superior! The only complaint was the excessive charges of the valet parking...it was a little overboard. Other than that, I must say my wedding was more than I could have ever dreamed or hoped for!

Beautiful venue and delicious food. The per person price is up there but it actually is pretty all inclusive. Although there were other weddings that day and that weekend, I did not really notice them. The hotel booked up fast so let your guests know in advance. The on-beach suite was booked, so we stayed in the tower bridal suite and it was still amazing, lots of space and great views.

The Sandpearl was the perfect venue for our wedding - 4 diamond resort so you definitely won't get a deal but it was WELL worth it. Incredible views, we were treated so well, everyone said it was the best wedding they had been to in years!

Loved, LOVED, LOVED the venue and the ceremony and food was great. The only downfall, the hotel had our credit card on file and there were charges that were not approved and it took MONTHS to a credit back and weeks to get a response. I was very, very disappointed. The charges were in the hundreds too. :(
