Samara is THE BEST!!! We can’t say enough good things about her. She is exactly the type of person you want by your side when planning a wedding. She truly listened to us, she’s the calm in the storm and incredibly organized. She goes above and beyond with anything you task her with. She kept us on track with our to-do list, she connected us with amazing vendors, worked closely with our venue, and handled last-minute surprises with confidence. Having her there throughout the process allowed us to really enjoy all the special moments with no stress. Not many people can say they truly became friends with their wedding planner. We’re genuinely sad to not have our regular check ins. We cannot recommend her enough!! Book Samara ASAP! -

The Best Thing You Could Do
Where could I even begin with Samara and Just as Planned? First of all, if you are on the fence or toying with the idea needing planner, you do and you need Samara. Even stellar venues, attentive and involved on-site day of coordinators, dedicated friends, and knowledgeable family cant compare. No matter how hard and long you prepare to even the smallest detail, having Samara will not only give you the priceless piece of mind but she is also insurance for one of the biggest and best days of your life. You spend so much of your time, energy, and money for this one day, why wouldn’t you want to solidify that everything goes according to your vision and plan? That’s what she does. While she can’t control the weather or stop your crazy uncle from falling on the dance floor, she can just about do everything under the sun. We went with Samara for one of her less involved packages and one of the things I just kept saying was, “I wish I found you sooner, I wish I involved you sooner” and it’s so true because I would have gone the extra miles right then and there if I found her at the beginning. I originally took a lot of the planning on myself because I had a specific plan I thought I could execute on my own because I didn’t trust anyone and I had worked a lot of events with my mom. Especially since I had an out of state wedding, I truly wish I found her at the beginning of it all. I’m telling you from the first conversation with Samara it was effortless. She goes the extra mile just because she values this day just as much as you do. She cares about every detail. She thinks about things you would have never even considered. She reviews every contract. She talks to people you don’t want to. One of the most important things you don’t consider in this process is decision fatigue—especially towards the end. She takes that pain away, and she keeps your mission and vision at the forefront all the way through. When every other vendor shows up and does their thing and gets to showcase it, she’s the one making sure all of them are doing the job you paid them for in the way you need it done. She fills in the cracks and is somehow everywhere the whole time. She is the one silently orchestrating the chaos she doesn’t let you see. She’s the one fluffing your dress right before you walk down the aisle and making sure your husband to be is wearing his boutonnière for the first look. I could go on forever and exhaust the amount of characters I’m allowed on a review. Simply put, she’s one of the best decisions you could make. I implore you to take the leap and trust, she is worth it because you both are worth it and deserve the best day you could possibly have. -

Samara flawlessly made our vision come to life and we could not have done it without her! She was responsive, patient, had great ideas and kept us on track over the course of our planning year. Our venue was not traditional and required a significant amount of coordination. We had 13+ vendors and Samara perfectly handled everything without missing a beat. We would highly recommend her to be part of your wedding planning and weekend!! -

Thank god for Samara!! That is all I can say!! Samara worked with me, my mother, and my now husband to make our wedding day the best day ever. I honestly do not know what I would have done without her, she is so detail orientated, has amazing connections with other industry vendors, and was a person to who I was able to vent throughout the stressful wedding planning process. I am so sad our wedding is over because that means no more monthly/weekly chats. I highly recommend Samara Josephine Events to any couple planning their dream wedding! I had a rustic glam DIY vibe in mind; simple, but intimate, elegant, and personal. Samara made executing our vision fun and stress-free. She was the perfect partner for us, keeping us on track and laughing throughout the process. Samara was truly the best planner we could have asked for. She thought of everything and was always available to discuss details or ease our minds about bumps in the planning process. On the day of, she helped everyone stay on task, she organized our wedding party, and coordinated with our vendor team. She did all of this while staying incredibly calm and professional, which was a huge plus. Overall, I would recommend Samara to everyone because she is a wonderful planner and is great to work with. -

Incredible planner
Samara made the entire planning process organized, less stressful, and helped us stick to our budget. We had monthly check ins via zoom/FaceTime and she kept us on track. On our big day, my husband and I felt stress free and everything went seamlessly. Samara handled coordinating deliveries/vendor arrival times, and set up/ break down. It was so nice to be able to enjoy ourselves the night and day after the wedding and not worry about breaking everything down. Many of our vendors commented on how organized Samara was. I can’t recommend her enough and truly don’t think I would have had such an amazing day without her.

Samara was AMAZING!!! She truly went above and beyond our expectations and for that we are eternally grateful. She is a logistics master and we SO appreciate how expertly she coordinated with all of our vendors (especially the ones who were ghosting us!). The regular check-ins were so great for our planning and piece of mind and helped us go into the wedding day with confidence and way less stress. Her setup of the venue and calm presence during the wedding saved our lives! Samara met us at the venue the day before the wedding and spent all day (and probably most of the night!) setting up all of our rentals- and we rented EVERYTHING. The barn looked absolutely STUNNING- her design instincts are on point! It was like walking into a fairytale wedding. I know she handled all of the bumps in the road beautifully because we never heard anything about them! It was so amazing not having to worry about setup or breakdown at the venue. We were really able to enjoy the moment as well as the days leading up to and following the wedding. Not only is Samara great at her job but she is truly a delight to work with. Everyone that met her commented on how sweet she was and what a great job she did. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. Don't get married without her! -

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience
Such an incredible experience. Samara made our wedding completely stress free. Everything was executed perfectly. She listened to my concerns and made me feel cared for throughout the entire process. She was there from beginning to end and then after! Her professionalism, ability to coordinate chaos and artistic vision made everything go so smoothly. If there’s anyone you want by your side for ANYTHING; she is the MVP. -

Samara is amazing. We initially weren't planning on hiring a coordinator, but our venue required it and boy did she deliver! She kept us on track with planning, and took things off our plate when things got crazy. She handled all those little annoying details that you just don't want to deal with. She was always so enthusiastic, kind and responsive. Then on the day of the wedding she was like an invisible magician, everywhere and nowhere all at once, making sure the entire day ran smoothly, directing people in the sweetest way, keeping us on our timeline, all the things. Our family raved about how helpful she was. I highly recommend her and will send any friends and family getting married her way in the future. She was a joy to work with. -

Where do I begin! I have been working with Samara for the last year and a half. Samara is far beyond her years. She is smart, quick thinking and creative. Samara always had an answer to my questions. She is extremely organized, detailed oriented, so calm and collected!! The Unsung Hero of the Day
Samara is a rockstar. She was the glue to our wedding. She had every detailed cover. She was the perfect coordinator to work with. Samara’s preparation and organization allowed for us to sit back, relax and just enjoy our wedding. She was always two steps ahead and has a great feel and vision.
