Salvatore’s was an exceptional wedding venue. Marco, Brandon, Cameron, and the rest of the staff were helpful and communicative from planning our tour to making last-minute changes the week before our wedding. We chose the Sunday microwedding package, which was perfect for the size of wedding we wanted to have. The venue itself is gorgeous and is already well-decorated. The patio was perfect for our ceremony, the lobby was a gorgeous entrance for our guests, and the bar and dining room had the perfect ambience. The food was delicious; we chose the rigatoni bolognese, chicken Vesuvio, and tortellini casalinga – all were fantastic. We were also impressed by the wait staff, all of whom were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout the evening. We would absolutely recommend Salvatore’s to other couples planning their weddings.

Where do I even begin? Finding Salvatore’s was the beginning of everything coming together for our wedding, which is especially important because we wanted to get married within a year of engagement! It truly is a hidden gem.
The TL;DR – my wife and I were so happy with how everything went, that I am writing this extremely long review because I have no idea how to concisely express our satisfaction, or how to choose highlights without leaving out pieces that were essential to making the best day of our lives.
The thing that drew us in to Salvatore’s was the appealing package for micro weddings (50 people or less). We had almost given up on finding a venue in Chicago that could reasonably accommodate our wishes for the right venue space for a wedding. It seemed like we were going to have to choose between getting married somewhere else (inconvenient to friends and relatives) and getting married at a restaurant that didn’t truly feel like a reception venue. But then there was Salvatore’s!

As soon as we saw the pictures of this gorgeous and classy venue, we knew we had to schedule a tour. And things only went up from there. The team is excellent with customer service, and we knew from how they treated us on the tour that we had found a place where our guests would feel right at home. Thanks to their experience with weddings, they were able to point out considerations that we hadn’t even thought of in making our decisions.
Just as we thought we couldn’t be more impressed…the tasting blew our minds. We had the opportunity to try a WIDE variety of their samplings, and each one of them was either “pretty good” or “incredible”. This was fun because we were able to bring my wife’s parents (for a small fee).
We had about four months between picking Salvatore’s and the wedding. Their communication throughout that time was consistent. I went back and forth with them so many times and they never seemed annoyed or irritated. Emails were always answered within 24 hours, and if something was urgent, it was only a phone call away. We really appreciated their flexibility with add-ons. Initially we went with the base package, but we ended up adding a few extra guests (I think the final count was 56 instead of 50), some extra time for the bar to stay open late, and a signature cocktail.

Fast forward to the day of. Everything went off perfectly. We were able to visit the venue a few times in the weeks leading up to the wedding to visualize and plan. They allowed vendors (and a few helpers) to arrive early for set up. Our guests loved the champagne greeting and cocktail hour. AGAIN, THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE. For part of cocktail hour, they had an unused room for my wife and I (and close family) to decompress and enjoy appetizers before getting introduced for the reception.

Dinner was incredible too, and it was one of the things that our guests complimented us on the most. THE TORTELLINI. I couldn’t get enough of the tortellini, it’s easily one of my favorite meals of all time. The tiramisu offered is also amazing. We had a wedding cake too, but the tiramisu is so good that you could probably get away with that being the only dessert.

What else. The piano is such a great touch for cocktail hour (and later for holding dessert). The sound system is good and can be heard through the whole venue, and easy to adjust (I was free to get up and adjust during dinner as I saw fit). The space for dancing was perfect for 50 people. The bartenders were great, they made all of the drinks very well, but I especially appreciated the care they put into our signature cocktail. We spent weeks thinking about the recipe for it, and they made it just as well as we did on our own (even including some garnishments). Also, they had batteries for the remote control for my projector.

I could go on and on and on. This is it, everyone. This is the place where you should have your wedding if you want your guests to have the best classy Chicago experience.

The day turned out amazing - staff was wonderful and the day went off without a hitch! Definitely recommend - very reliable and helpful throughout the entire process! Never had to track them down and answer my 1000 questions!

We cannot say enough about Salvatore's after a splendid wedding weekend over the Memorial Day holiday -- kicking off the summer wedding season for many, for family a memorable time because as parents of the bride, THE wedding we hosted with our daughter and her fiance. Salvatore's is a beautiful venue, but working with wedding planner Erin and everyone from Marcos and the team made the event picture perfect and run smoothly. Guests loved each aspect including raves for the food, the champagne welcome, and we were lucky to have an evening where we could also wander out to the terrace. It made the wedding elegant, classic yet trendy and fun at the same time and suited to any style! Thank you, Salvatore's and we hope to have some excuse -- any -- to host another event there!

I can't recommend Salvatore's enough for a wedding or event. The team is unbelievable, true professionals! The layout, food, drinks, and service surpassed all our expectations. We loved having separate rooms for different points in the evening. Erin, Marcos, and Cameron ensure everything was perfect down to every detail, we can't thank them enough!

I set out looking for an "Classic Chicago" venue. I wanted the dark wood walls and white tablecloths and chandeliers. I found Salvatore's and I loved it the moment I saw it. They made my wedding absolutely perfect. Everything is outstanding. The food, the venue setup, and the customer service is out of this world. Everyone I knew said it was the best wedding that they'd been to. Definitely a cut above your standard banquet hall venue. If you want a beautiful and elegant wedding, you have to book Salvatore's!

We held our wedding at Salvatore's and recommend them as highly as possible. First, Marco and Renata (the managers) were very nice and helpful to us from the first time we contacted them, throughout all the planning stages and the wedding itself. They are very well organized and walked us through everything we needed to do to put the event together. They were also always fast to respond and happy to offer advice on any question we posed. Second, the venue is beautiful both indoors and outdoors (with a covered terrace and garden view), and requires almost no additional decoration. Finally, the food options Salvatore's offers are some of the best we've had anywhere, which they managed to do while also retaining a relaxed atmosphere.
We also hired Erin, Salvatore's in-house wedding planner and coordinator, to help us with day-of coordination. Erin was instrumental to the ceremony and reception running smoothly, keeping everything on schedule and generally managing the entire evening. Overall, she did a marvelous job and we highly recommend her services along with Salvatore's!

My husband and I were originally supposed to get married on Captiva Island, FL, but Hurricane Ian wiped it out, leaving us with 3 weeks to replan our wedding for the same date, just in our home city. Marco was quick to respond to my inquiry and set up a time to meet with me right away. They had the date available and did everything they could do help me put it together in such a short time... and it turned out BEAUTIFULLY! No one would have ever guessed it was supposed to be in FL. The service was amazing, and the food was incredible. The space is a very cute old Chicago feel, and it has a nice outdoor patio/garden area so guests can get fresh air throughout the night. Marco was always quick to respond and did a great job at helping me make sure everything was covered. I would highly recommend Salvatore's and Marco for any of your event needs.

We had the most perfect wedding for 120 guests at Salvatore's. It was better than I could've imagined, and many guests told us it was best wedding they'd ever attended. We know this is in large part thanks to the beautiful intimate candlelit venue, charming location, flow of ceremony to cocktails to dancing, and an ideal atmosphere for a celebration. From start to finish, Marco and Renata guided us through the planning process and made it clear, easy, and fun. Marco and Renata are true professionals with years of experience in the biz. They were very communicative, quick to respond, and just an absolute pleasure to work with. I had specific visions for many decor elements and Marco made sure the details were all in place. During the wedding and following the ceremony, Renata and the rest of the Salvatore's staff were so warm and supportive, making sure I was fed and had water and had everything I needed. Renata also offered to print an afterparty sign during the reception so that guests could easily see the afterparty details. I cannot recommend the Salvatore's venue and team more. Salvatore's hosted the celebration of a lifetime for me and my now husband, our families, and friends, and I will be forever grateful to everyone who helped make our wedding day perfect.

If you are looking for the best venue in Chicago, Salvatore's is it. When my husband and I were looking at venues, we really wanted a venue that was responsive, had amazing food, and didn't require too much additional decor. The venue manager Marco and Renata were just amazing to work with. They were so responsive to my questions and overall so pleasant and professional to work with to create our special day. The food was delicious. We even had a vegan guest who traded desserts with his partner, because the tiramisu was that good. The venue itself is such a beautiful space for our reception for 170 guests. We wanted a much smaller ceremony and had that held on their gorgeous patio. The venue is truly a hidden gem tucked away on a quiet street in Lincoln Park. We loved our wedding and cannot recommend Salvatore's enough!

We absolutely loved getting married at Salvatore's and we'd choose it again ten more times. Starting from the discussion phase, Marco and Renata and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful at nailing down our requests. They worked with us to end up with a tenable situation that played to our vision. Though we had multiple demanding and competing interests, they helped settle them reasonably and effectively. Second, the food was just excellent. Quality and classic Italian food, and every guest complemented us after the fact for the choice. Third, it's just a gorgeous space. We're thrilled looking back at our photos because everything looked so elegant and classy. I cannot recommend it enough!

My wife and I recently got married at Salvatore’s (May 2022) and we could not have had a better experience! Everything was perfect – the venue, the staff, and the overall wedding package that Salvatore’s provides. Just a phenomenal experience.

First – the venue is absolutely beautiful! My wife and I barely had to bring any additional décor because the venue already had so much charm and character. We held both our ceremony and our reception at Salvatore’s. After the ceremony, our guests transitioned into the spacious cocktail room while the staff flipped the room to set up for dinner. It was so nice just transitioning from one portion of the night to the next without having to plan any logistics/travel. I think our guests really appreciated this as well. Salvatore’s has multiple rooms that you can utilize (including two separate rooms with big bars). They also have a great outdoor patio that our guest could get outside and get some fresh air.

From a pricing perspective – you cannot find a better value downtown Chicago. Everything is handled by the staff at Salvatore’s (food, drinks, valet, set up, etc.), we did not need to worry about bringing in any other vendors. From start to finish they orchestrated the party. The food and the drinks were also great (still thinking about the Tortellini!).
Finally – the staff was so great to work with! Marco and Renata always took time to answer any questions that we had (no matter if it was 18 months or two weeks before our wedding date). On our wedding day, the entire staff just wanted to make sure my wife and I were having a wonderful time. With all the planning that goes into one day, it’s great to have people reminding you and encouraging you to live in the moment!

We would highly recommend Salvatore’s for any wedding/rehearsal dinner or event! It will always hold a special place in our heart and we cannot thank the staff enough for giving us the experience we both wanted!

Wow! We cannot say enough about our experience with Salvatore’s! From the moment we stepped into the venue we were in love with the ambiance, with the history and with the vibe. It was made only better by the care and guidance we received from Marco & Renata in planning the wedding. They were patient and helpful from day one until we said our goodbyes at the end of then reception. Our guests raved about the food and the variety of drinks they were able to order from the open bar. The room flip from ceremony to reception was seamless and all of our vendors loved working with their team! Will recommend over and over again!

My husband and I could not have chosen a more perfect venue for our dream wedding. Salvatore’s is the best of the best! Renata and Marco are some of the nicest, most accommodating people you’ll ever meet. They were beyond helpful, patient, thoughtful, and selfless. Marco and Renata’s quick accommodations due to changes in our family’s health will never be forgotten. They even made sure to save us some appetizers and tiramisu! They made sure we had everything we needed, throughout our whole wedding planning journey and of course the day of! They were so responsive to our emails and phone calls. We found Salvatore's at the recommendation of a friend and were so happy with the experience. The venue is charming and the transitions from ceremony to cocktails to dinner to dancing were seamless. Marco and the staff were very responsive and easy to work with, the food was delicious... honestly, we wouldn't have changed a thing. Oh, and a shout out to Bopology, the band that made the evening complete!

We got married at Salvatore's in Fall 2021 (after rescheduling from Fall 2020). The venue itself has a very classic/vintage/timeless look to it with wood paneled walls; and they recently redid the bar. It felt like a wedding venue from a movie. Sherife (owner) and Marco (general manager) were great to work with, and Marco helped me last-minute with a sound system issue with the wedding band.

More importantly, the FOOD IS AWESOME. I've been to many expensive weddings where the food was Meh - just unremarkable or even a little gross. Salvatore's food is actually YUMMY. One of my guests commented that he'd "wished he'd been sitting alone at his table so that he could have gone to town on food." Sherife (the owner) is very involved. She selects good ingredients and many of her staff have been with her for decades.

The venue is so beautiful, intimate and classic. The staff too are so helpful that beyond our expectations. We were debating if we wanted the day of coordinator, and we didn't get one in the end, but the wedding turned out perfectly with Marco and Renata's professional and responsive coordination and assistances. We feel lucky that we picked the great venue and very thankful to all the staff.

My wife and I recently got married at Salvatore's and (I know I'm biased, but) it was was the best wedding I've ever been to. People kept commenting on how beautiful the space was, the food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were all so kind and helpful.

Back when we were first searching for a venue, Salvatore's was the clear choice. The moment we walked in, we fell in love with the ambiance. Marco was so helpful and professional throughout the process and went out of his way to make sure we had the wedding we dreamed of.

If I could give a sixth star, I would. Tens across the board. Anyone looking for a venue with personality and class shouldn't pass Salvatore's by.

We had originally planned our wedding to be June 13th of 2020 due the pandemic things got crazy as you can imagine and our wedding had to be postponed till May 8th 2021.

During this process there was a new owner and manager of the venue. Marco swopped right in to confirm every detail and made sure we constantly were both on the same page! This brought me A LOT of peace and ease to know how on top of it he was!

During the whole process before the wedding with the set up and where I wanted things he was patient, personable, and willing to help and offer suggestions!

Both Marco and the owner were amazing to work alongside with. They took all the stress off my shoulders especially on the actual wedding day, even the waiters were amazing and very on top of everything!

The food was out standing. The location of Salvatore's is perfect for a city wedding. It truly is a hidden gem and the inside is more beautiful!

We had a smaller dinner event here for roughly 40 people and could not be more pleased with the space/ staff/ services. Working with the coordinator, Marco, was easy-going and pleasant. He was able to find a solution to each of my needs given the event- podium for our speakers, curtains pulled at certain times to encourage the flow of our guests and ambiance. This space is clean with tons of character. The neighborhood is tucked right in to a quiet side street amidst a very popular Chicago area. I could not believe how private and cozy this place was. Professional and attentive staff and food options to please everyone at very reasonable rates. Thanks for a great event space and dinner.

We had our wedding reception at Salvatore's on 6/5/21. We had the best time! Throughout the planning process, Marco the GM was super responsive and helpful in answering our questions and requests. He is a pro! Our wedding tasting was fun - for our dishes, we chose penne with vodka sauce, tortellini, and chicken vesuvio - plus the tiramisu for dessert, yum! Our guests are raving about the delicious food, the great food/drink service, and how much they loved the venue. Salvatore's has timeless charm and plenty of space for our 100 guests. It was an awesome value and with all the food and drink served in-house, it streamlined the planning process significantly. We would highly recommend Salvatore's to any couple looking for their perfect wedding venue. 10 out of 10!

When we were looking for wedding venues back in 2019, our first stop was Salvatore’s. It’s a classic events place right in the heart of Lincoln Park in Chicago. We loved the place right away. We went to look at another venue just for the sake of checking another place but Salvatore’s had our hearts already the very first time we walked in. We booked them for May 17, 2020 but then Covid happened. We are just so happy that after a year of postponing our original wedding plans, we finally got married at Salvatore’s last weekend. We had both our ceremony and reception there. It was a little smaller and more intimate than what we had originally planned but we loved everything that Salvatore’s had done to make our wedding day a very special and memorable one. It was all we had ever imagined and so much more!

Salvatore's was the best! Marco, Reggie, and all the staff were amazing and attentive. They went above and beyond for our ceremony and it truly felt like we were working with friends. Marco was so communicative and responsive throughout the entire process, and so flexible.


They are processional and experienced and know exactly what they are doing to make the day so special, and are completely open to making nearly any vision you have work. For example, we discussed a floor layout, but once the tables were all set up, we decided that the shape would be too tight. Marco and Reggie were so accommodating and reorganized the room last minute to make it work.

We HIGHLY recommend Salvatore's if you are considering an absolutely beautiful venue, delicious food, and the friendliest staff and planners ever.

I am so happy with our decision to get married at Salvatores! Suzi and Lauran were SO patient with my (what felt like ) endless questions and answered everything so well! I didn't have a wedding planner and have never been involved in planning a wedding, so that was just so helpful, personally. Further, they helped lead the rehearsal (which would be a disaster without them) and made everything SO smooth on the actual day!! In between the ceremony and reception, the space was absolutely transformed and just beautiful. They used my decorations in ways that looked better than I had originally planned.

Other than how wonderful and helpful they were, the space itself is amazing. Its beautiful, classic, and intimate; exactly the vibe I was hoping for for my wedding. Honestly, once I saw the website, I stopped looking at other venues.

Third, of course, I have to comment on the price. The pricing was very clear from the first time we met. There were no surprises at the end or anything unexpected. As a bride, I have heard from friends about unexpected costs, so this was a HUGE plus! Additionally, the price is affordable for the location, and I am grateful to them for making this wedding possible in Lincoln Park for us.

Overall, definitely recommend the venue, food, and of course, Suzi and Lauran!

My husband and I held our wedding reception at Salvatore's this fall and I am still getting compliments about how fabulous our wedding was. It is an absolutely beautiful venue, with vintage charm that you really can't find anywhere else in the city. The coordinators at the venue, Suzi and Lauran were extremely professional, responsive, patient and so fun to work with. They really made sure they understood our vision and helped us every step of the way. I must have sent them 100 emails during the planning process and everything was always answered quickly. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, every dish was perfect and our guests raved about it all night - especially the vodka pasta and the tiramisu. I wish I could go back and eat there right now. The tasting was so fun - make sure you come hungry! The drinks and the service were outstanding - they were all so professional kind to all 200 of our guests. People were drinking martini's, manhattans and all kinds of specialty drinks (which are included in your package). The venue also had a super cute patio that made for the perfect getaway space during the evening - although the dance floor was the place to be! The garden is perfect for some intimate bride and groom shots as well. If you are considering a wedding in Chicago, don't wait - book Salvatores now, you won't regret it.

Would highly recommend! We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Salvatore’s and had such a great experience. The venue comes with two wedding planners that help answer all of your questions (and we asked a lot!). They were very patient and knowledgeable during the whole planning process, thank you Suzi and Lauran! Our guests could not stop raving about the food, I kid you not, numerous people said it was “the best food they’ve ever had a wedding”. The filet and tortellini were crowd favorites for sure. Also received a lot of compliments on the staff, who went above and beyond during dinner and great bartenders as well. Luckily, we had nice weather so many people got to utilize the nice patio space out back. Overall, this was an amazing venue with professional staff and service.

Picking Salvatore’s as our wedding reception venue was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process, and we couldn’t be happier that we did! Suzi and Lauran were amazing to work with! Their vendor recommendations were extremely helpful as well, and we enjoyed that they had great relationships with each one which made things easy for the big day. My husband and I had a wedding at Salvatore’s this summer. We highly recommend this venue! Suzi and Lauran were an absolute pleasure to work with - very responsive, patient, organized and helpful. They made the entire planning process easy for us. The venue itself is elegant, romantic and very spacious. There is an option to have dinner and dancing in separate rooms, which we loved as some of our guests could have a conversation while others had fun on the dance floor. There is also a gorgeous patio which is ideal for pictures. The food was absolutely delicious - we chose salmon, steak, chicken and pasta. Each entree was prepared perfectly. We got a lot of compliments on the food. Also, Salvatore’s tiramisu is out of this world! It was a perfect choice for us! Thank you, Suzi and Lauran, for an amazing experience!

Our decision to choose Salvatore’s as our wedding location was the best decision we have made ( aside from saying “I do!” of course). From beginning to end, Lauran and Suzi were very helpful in the planning process. They took the time to field our emails, phone calls and in person meetings to ensure we felt comfortable. On the day of they were instrumental in making sure the day went smoothly.

In addition to the amazing staff, Salvatore’s itself was a dream venue. After doing extensive research it because clear for the value they were providing, the price was unbeatable. We received amazing reviews from our guests who raved about the food and there was never a line to get the bar. I cannot imagine a better place to get married and I highly recommend to any couple looking in Chicago!

Having our reception at Salvatore’s was one of the best decisions we made in our entire planning process!

My husband and I were in an unusual situation, we live in TX but got married in Chicago. We had my parents go and view the space, and they fell in love instantly. They face timed us and we knew that was it, so they signed before we even saw it in person!

The layout of the space is perfectly different from most wedding venues you’ll find. Having the dance floor in a different room from the tables provided nice breaks for some of our older guests, or even those who just wanted a moment to step away from the party. The outdoor space is a nice addition to the already wonderful venue. The location is great, Lincoln Park is a fabulous place to get married- especially in the fall when the streets outside are STUNNING. Plus the valet parking made it extremely easy for our guests who drove.

Lauran and Suzi are wonderful to work with from the start. They always answered my (numerous) emails and questions promptly, and eased so many of my worries when it came to logistics, timing, food, whatever. Having Lauran there the day of the event as well put us at ease as we knew she’d keep things moving and under control. The rest of the staff is polite, fast, and we enjoyed working with every single person we interacted with.

The food... it's phenomenal. We had such a hard time deciding what options to pick because everything was so good. So many of our guests commented on how good everything was. Definitely recommend the tiramisu, we did that and had a small cake brought in from Sweet Mandy B's to cut. Not only was it delicious, but everything is sourced from Salvatore’s so you don’t have to worry about having ANYTHING, which was so crucial for us when it came to logistics. Both bars were very well stocked, and the bartenders were quick. As the bride, I didn't have to worry about a single thing not being done exactly the way we had asked or decided.

Overall I have nothing but good things to say about Salvatore’s. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants a little extra magic on their wedding day.

From the moment we first met with Suzi we felt a weight lift & excitement forming! Suzi graciously led us through the entire process and not once did we feel rushed, pushed or overwhelmed.

The venue is absolutely breathtaking. The layout superb. The menu choices were overwhelming. (All so good it was difficult to choose!)

The tasting was spectacular and the food did not disappoint!!! We were easily led through each and every detail of the wedding event, feeling that all will be well! And, even then, when the evening finally arrived, we were blown away by the effortless perfection as we witnessed our event unfold.

Suzi’s attention to detail is amazing! She handled the inevitable last minute changes with such grace and ease. Both her and Lauran continually kept us informed and even helped with non-venue suggestions! Suzi’s recommendations for florist, DJ, bakery, and all else were all absolutely wonderful!

Our guests were so impressed! Months after the event, they still talk about how beautiful it was and how delicious the food was!!! Suzi, Lauran and all the staff were as attentive at the wedding as they were throughout the planning process, which gave us the time to actually enjoy what we were there to celebrate!

Wedding planning is stressful! Salvatore's takes a huge chunk of planning stress off your shoulders. This venue is beautiful! Stunning, old-world Italian feel to the space. Plenty of room for our 145 guests to enjoy dinner and dancing. The food is top-notch! The staff is incredible. Suzi & Lauran are incredible and easy to work with. They met with us several times and ensured us we would be pleased. Be sure to put this on your list of venues to explore and book them for your event. You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I got married here in December and it was beyond all of our dreams! Working with Lauren was so easy and she welcomed and answered all of our questions. The day of went off without a hitch and they were able to work out all of my visions and work seamlessly with all of our vendors. And of course, the food was phenomenal as well! I wish I could do it all over again!!

The rooms are seriously beautiful on their own, but come alive when you add your own personal touches. The staff- There are honestly no words for amazing ​Suzi and Lauran ​were in the lead up and execution of our wedding​. They went above and beyond and thanks to them our ​wedding was everything we wanted; the set up was perfect, and it was so stress free and seamless - they are wonderful! ​The entire staff has such a reassuring presence, ​they have​ everything organized to perfection, and just did a remarkable​ job.​ The best part of this venue is that I didn't have to worry. I trusted their judgment on literally everything- Me not being a planner was completely overwhelmed with the details of planning the day- Salvatore's basically took the lead and allowed me to be as involved as much (or as little) as I wanted to be. They were available to answer our band's questions, show the venue to our photographer, and even made sure to order a local Kansas City beer for the groom. Oh and I forgot to mention- the food! Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food was.

Everything from ceremony start times, to coordinating the toasts, first dances, and cake cutting- They know what they are doing- and on your wedding day the last thing your want to worry about is the details. They will think of everything before you- make sure they know what you want and execute that vision flawlessly.

My husband and I LOVED having our wedding reception at Salvatore's! Suzi and Lauran are the absolute best. We had some last minute changes come up and they were so responsive and accommodating. We felt 100% certain that everything would run smoothly in their hands. Also, their vendor recommendations were spot-on. Our guests loved Salvatore's, too, and couldn't stop raving about the food (which is incredible - you have to do the tiramisu!), how beautiful the space is, and how seamlessly the whole evening went. We were able to plan our entire wedding start to finish in under 6 months thanks to Salvatore's. This historic venue is absolutely gorgeous and the service from their team was amazing. My husband and I knew that we wanted to get married in the city of Chicago and we are so happy we found Salvatore's! We fell in love with its classic beauty, old school Chicago vibe, and beautiful surroundings (the patio, courtyard, tree-lined street, and beautiful Lincoln Park neighborhood) and it was actually a reasonably-priced option in the city, especially compared to other choices out there. Oh, and all the food was DELICIOUS (get the cheesy tortellini and the tiramisu!), the dance floor was huge, and the service and bartenders were so amazing that none of our 155 guests ever had to wait for a drink (and the drinks, especially our specialty drinks, were delicious and the staff was so accommodating of our requests!). No waiting in lines at Salvatore's!

Suzi and Lauran were also awesome to work with! They were incredibly fast responding to emails and never seemed frustrated by all my questions. They were super accommodating with when we could drop off/pick-up our decor, let us visit the venue many times, accommodated food allergy requests, and so much more. Because of their help, we didn't feel we needed a day-of-coordinator (that said, if you're very nitpicky about things, I might get a day-of coordinator or at least be really specific with how you want things set up and to run on the day-of with Suzi and Lauran - they are super detail oriented and delivered on all our requests, but you have to provide them with those details!)

One big question I had when choosing Salvatore's was the layout. I knew I wanted a non-traditional wedding venue but was really worried about having the dinner in a separate room as the dancing. Turns out there was nothing to be worried about - because the dancing happened in a separate room (with tables for sitting and its own bar), the dance floor was packed all night. We had such a fun night.

One other thing to note - we had 155 people and the place felt perfectly full. I think it would be too tight if you expect more than 174 guests (don't forget, there's always drop-off from your original invite list). But this is something to keep in mind - if you have a 200 person wedding, this might not be the space for you!

I'm smiling so big just thinking about the amazing wedding day we had at Salvatore's thanks to Suzi, Lauran, and the amazing Salvatore's staff. I would recommend Salvatore's to others in a heartbeat!

My husband and I had our wedding at Salvatore’s on May 18, 2019. It’s a hidden gem in Lincoln Park and we are so happy we stumbled upon it! The venue is classic and elegant. It fit our 140 guests perfectly. The price is just incredible for a downtown Chicago wedding. We loved that we paid one price for everything and didn’t have to worry about upgrading so many details because everything that comes with Salvatore’s is top notch. Suzi and Lauran were amazing to work with! From the very beginning they are so helpful with every little detail and they truly know their stuff. Our favorite part by far was the food! My favorite part of wedding planning was easily the tasting. We did family style with caesar salad, two pastas and one chicken dish. Our guests still haven’t stopped talking about how delicious all of the food was and they were so happy they got to try a little bit of everything. I was so happy to hear that we got a wedding cake or tiramisu included too, but the tiramisu is hands down the best we’ve ever had! The service during dinner was exceptional. The bar selection was perfect and came with many options in beer, wine and liquors. The bartenders were outstanding and no one waited long for a drink. We loved having two bars with one removed from the dance floor for guests who needed a quick break from dancing too. Our wedding was an unforgettable night and we are so happy we had it at Salvatore’s!

We had our wedding here on December 30, 2018 and our best decision that we made was booking at Salvatore's. We worked with Lauran and she was simply the best. Salvatore's handles all of the details so you can enjoy your day. Lauran was so quick to respond, helped us navigate the struggles of planning a wedding and overall made us feel at ease throughout our entire process. We wouldn't have changed a thing and we recommend Salvatore's to all of our friends and family! Our guests had an amazing time thanks to Lauran and Salvatore's!

We looked at this location after a friend had mentioned about the quality of the location as well as the food. The second we walked in, we knew that it was for us. We had roughly 130 people and it was a perfect location for a small/medium sized wedding. The location is well kept, the staff is extremely flexible, friendly, and helpful, and the patio was a great bonus. For a city wedding, the price is something that can't be beat. The price includes appetizers, dinner, drinks, and your cake. The other bonus about this location is that there are 2 bars, which means the line is kept short. We are SO thankful that we picked Salvatore's to host our wedding and would do it all over again. The only down side is that we can't go to Salvatore's for a dinner date.....the food is truly that good!!!

I truly cannot say enough great things about this venue and their staff. Suzi and Lauran made our special day stress-free and it turned out to be the perfect. They seemed to anticipate every need before we even realized it ourselves from bustling my dress, to arranging the flowers, to answering questions from the guests, they were there to help. Our guests could not stop raving about the food and the atmosphere. If we had to do it all over again, there is no doubt that we would pick Salvatore's again.

Absolutely perfect wedding venue!!! We are from Colorado and worked with Lauran for our wedding. She is amazing! She kept in constant communication with us over the several months leading up to our wedding. Since we were out of state we had to ship special items to the venue and Lauran made sure to take care of them. She made sure everything was set up perfectly the day of. We can't even express how happy we are with Salvatore's and Lauran's service. Our guests (about 75) loved the food and the venue. It was perfect and we highly recommend!!!

After marrying my husband, choosing Salvatores for our reception venue was the best decision I have ever made! From the very first meeting, Suzi and Lauren were clear about everything. Having looked at other places it was a breath of fresh air to have everything laid out plain and simple. There were no hidden fees or charges that they snuck up on us later and suzi and lauren took the time throughout the entire wedding process to answer any questions we had. Now to the fun stuff! So yes, Salvatores was great about the business side of the wedding planning process but can we talk about how everything else at Salavtores is above and beyond perfect! The space at Salvatores is vintage chicago meets glamour. Its a beautiful venue inside and out! From the black and white tiles in the entryway to the two grand pianos. to how the space looks lit with candles, Salvatores is a hidden gem! It is located in the middle of lincoln park but being hidden on a side street gives you the seclusion you would want while still having a big city wedding. Now, the food...the food! If you choose Salvatores (which you should!) if you talk to anyone who has been at an event there, the first thing they will say to you is how good the food is! It is seriously soooo good! People remember what you feed them and I guarantee that everyone will love what Salvatores serves. They also accommodate gluten free, food allergies and vegetarians. The service is also impeccable. Everyone was so kind and accommodating to all our guest and no one went hungry or thirsty. Now the best part if you choose Salvatores, Suzi and Lauren! They are there for you to help calm down wedding planning nerves.They answered all our question quickly and they helped coordinate all our wedding day needs. They set up the room perfectly and Lauren the entire night made sure everything ran smoothly. We will never forget our wedding and Salvatores was such a huge part of that and we can never thank them enough!

My husband and I could not be happier that we chose Salvatore’s for our wedding. From the moment we walked into the venue, we knew we had found a beautiful and unique space that would be a perfect fit for our big day. By answering questions in a timely and professional manner, offering great recommendations, and all around being helpful and supportive, Suzi and Lauran were wonderful people to work with during the planning process. We always felt like we were in good hands, especially after meeting with them a few weeks before the wedding to go over final preparations. On the day of the wedding, we were confident that everything would be taken care of in regards to the vendors, meals, and decorations, and Suzi even helped bustle my dress during cocktail hour! After the celebration, all of our gifts were already packed up and we were able to leave with our guests to continue the party!

We also cannot say enough good things about the food – the meals were delicious with large portions, which kept our guests full for the entire evening. We ended up choosing Salvatore’s tiramisu over a standard wedding cake because we were blown away by how amazing it tasted. The children that attended were well taken care of in terms of easy food choices, being served before the adults, and given a cute ice scream sundae after the meal. And the bartenders worked hard all night to successfully attend to the needs of almost two hundred guests!

Between the vintage, Old Hollywood glamour ambiance, perfect location in the heart of Lincoln Park, unbelievable food that our guests are still raving about, and the ease of working with Suzi and Lauran, we would highly recommend Salvatore’s to anyone. Thank you for an unforgettable night!

Salvatore's is a great find for a city wedding. They take care of dinner, drink, cake, basic decor, table cards and more to help make the biggest decision of your wedding planning (choosing where to get married) as easy as possible. Not to mention, Lauran and Suzi are incredibly helpful coordinators who are very responsive throughout the wedding planning process and efficient the day of the event. We are so glad that we chose Salvatore's for our wedding venue. The venue is gorgeous, very unique. It is a large venue, but it felt so cozy with our guests. We got married almost two months ago and our guests are still raving about how beautiful Salvatore's is. We instantly fell in love when we saw it for the first time. One of the things we were trying to avoid in choosing a venue was a banquet hall. Salvatore's was nothing like this, and more so a large, classy Italian restaurant. We booked our wedding the day we saw Salvatore's. The food is outstanding as well! We did a tasting and had a very hard time choosing what to serve at our wedding because every dish was amazing. There is nothing I would have changed about our wedding, thanks to Salvatore's. Suzy and Lauran are the two ladies that were helping us through the process of planning and organizing our wedding. They are so wonderful and are very experienced in what they do. They gave us peace of mind in planning the biggest event of our lives. Lauran was there the night of our wedding and I know that she made the event run smoothly behind the scenes. Overall, I could not be happier with Salvatore's. I am advising anyone I know that is planning a wedding to go see Salvatore's. It was truly perfect and exceeded all of our expectations.

We had a modest budget but were impressed with how inclusive Salvatore's is and with options for Fri-Sun weddings, it made it easy to have the wedding we wanted at a price we could afford. This place is truly a hidden gem!

Throughout the whole year of planning, Suzi and Lauran were absolutely amazing and helped me with everything! They helped suggest and recommend vendors, and also just helped with any general wedding planning questions I had (as I was so clueless)! I could call or email them with random questions all the time and they were so responsive and so helpful! And they were very honest with their opinions and suggestions and were not trying to benefit in any advice they provided, which I definitely appreciated. They also basically were ‘day-of planners’ and were there from the morning of the wedding day until the end of the wedding, helping setup and make sure everything ran smoothly. I walked into the venue and my breathe was taken away at how perfect everything looked!
Not only were the venue itself and the planners amazing, but the food was SO good. Our guests could not stop raving about how delicious everything was (which is not something you typically hear at weddings). When we had our tasting- we tried everything off the menu, and it was the hardest decision to make because everything was so good!

We celebrated our wedding at Salvatore’s a couple months ago. If we had to go back in time and plan our wedding again from the beginning, we would choose Salvatore’s over and over again. The moment we stepped inside the venue, we knew it was the best spot to celebrate our special day. Every single thing about our reception was absolutely perfect, from the legitimately delicious food to the elegant set up to the exceptional service provided by Lauran and Suzi. They were so easy to work with, extremely responsive, and more than helpful during our entire wedding planning process. We received so many compliments on the stunning venue. If you are looking to get married in Chicago, you really cannot do better than Salvatore’s, and I promise you will not regret your decision!!

My husband and I (still getting used to saying that!) just got married at Salvatore's in mid-September 2017. It was a dream and our guests have been raving about the venue non-stop!

1) It's PERFECT to have your both your ceremony and reception in the same space. It's also classic, old-timey Chicago flare with a very intimate, romantic feel. We started at 5pm, and extended the contract so we wrapped up at 11:30pm. We had about 150 guests and it fit this number perfectly.
2) Suzi and Lauran. You must have trust in your wedding coordinators. These women have it! They were spot-on their recommendations, communication, and follow-through. Most emails were responded to within hours. They were honest and forthcoming about expenses and helpful in their suggestions for décor, linens, menu, etc. The wedding day they made sure everything ran smoothly and I noticed a few extra touches here and there. Such an asset to the owners!!
3) Salvatore's has an amazingly delicious menu. Their tomato vodka cream sauce pasta and penne ricotta were heavenly. Every guest was a part of the clean plate club! Make sure you arrive hungry to the dinner menu tasting. We also got the late-night snack of grilled cheese and sliders...if you're having an open bar, this comes in handy for all your guests ;)
4) Bar service was 100%. Champagne toast was flawless. Cocktails poured right and allll night. We did the premium open bar and many of guests ordered martinis, old fashions, etc. and the bartenders were pros.

We would get married at Salvatore's again in a heartbeat. Happy wedding planning!!

Salvatore's was hands down the perfect wedding venue for me and my husband. Suzi and Lauran, the wedding coordinators, are timely, professional, and extremely organized. The best part of working with Suzi and Lauran was how truly kind and caring they are. They genuinely cared about us having the perfect day! Their list of preferred vendors was fantastic and incredibly helpful. The day of the wedding I was able to relax and enjoy. I had nothing to worry about. The venue itself is gorgeous and unique. There was plenty of space without the typical ballroom feeling. It felt very intimate and didn't require much decorating. The food was amazing- my guests are still raving! If you're looking for a beautiful, no-stress wedding, Salvatore's is your venue.

We had our wedding at Salvatore's in May 2017, and I don't even know where to begin singing their praises!

We had a long, frustrating and exhausting wedding venue search, until we walked in to Salvatore's! It was honestly a breath of fresh air! We met with Suzi who walked us through everything, leaving no questions unanswered. After our tour, we could not stop beaming and before we even made it home, we emailed Suzi to reserve our date!

From there everything was smooth sailing! They responded to every email quickly and thoroughly, there was no guess work or surprises. At one point I even asked "this is too easy, whats the catch?!", well, there is NO CATCH!! They worked seamlessly with our other vendors too, which is a huge plus!

Finally our wedding day rolled around and I have never been more relaxed and comfortable. Normally I am pretty high-strung, type-A, but on the wedding day I left it all in Suzi and Lauran's hands and the day was smooth sailing! They really did make our day perfect and our guests still rave about the food, drinks and atmosphere!

Salvatore’s is the best wedding venue in Chicago (HANDS DOWN)!

I could NOT have been happier with Salvatore’s for our April 29th wedding! Suzi and Lauran were fabulous to work with! They were not only AMAZING on our wedding day – the entire wedding planning process, they were very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. It was POURING rain our entire wedding day – and they handled last minute adjustments to our schedule (due to the rain) with ease! They allowed our reception to start over an hour earlier and we moved our band from the outside to inside – They made me feel so much calmer knowing that the last minute adjustments were no big deal! SO accommodating!

We brought decorations for the venue and they knew exactly how to arrange everything to make the venue look so amazingly special for our day (the venue doesn’t need much – because it is so special as is)! They also did a great job coordinating with the all the vendors.

It is so nice to have a venue that can do it all (Food – Drinks – Venue). You don’t need rentals – they have tables – chairs – linens – wait staff – day of coordinators - ETC! The food was so delicious and they were accommodating to dietary restrictions some of our guests had. We upgraded some of our entrees due to the size of our wedding (125 guests). I recommend the upgraded dishes – because they are so delish! We also opted for the tiramisu – DO IT! You will never find a wedding cake as delicious as their homemade tiramisu.
This venue is really such a hidden gem! It is located in the heart of Lincoln Park – on an adorable tree lined street. The venue itself is so so special – two bars and three large (and different feeling) rooms. The flow of the whole venue just really works so well.

We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our July 9th wedding at Salvatore's! Suzi and Lauran were fabulous to work with! Throughout the wedding planning process, they were very responsive, accommodating, helpful and on top of everything. They also did a wonderful job preparing the venue for the wedding and coordinating with the all the vendors and setting everything up to ensure the wedding and reception went off without a hitch. Suzi, Lauran and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests were happy and taken care of at the wedding, including my elderly mother who they set up a ramp for to make it easier for her to get around in the venue. The food was outstanding; our guests are still raving about it! With its convenient location, character and charm, the venue was ideal for our small wedding. The patio was set up beautifully for our wedding, and the courtyard area was perfect for taking pictures following the ceremony. It was also great that we had also had access to the bar and two reception rooms. I would highly recommend Salvatore's as a wedding venue! I could not have been happier with my wedding here! I fell in love with Salvatore's when I saw the venue, and it's at a reasonable price for what you can get in downtown Chicago. Additionally the location is right off of clark street in Lincoln Park.
While I love the venue and the location, the team behind this place is just as amazing. My wedding isn't until 6/2018 and we're holding both our ceremony & reception at Salvatore's. We've done our tasting already and the food was AMAZING--the appetizers, pasta, and salmon options blew us away (we also tried two chicken entrees and they were ok). The service you get from the staff rivals the food.
I can't wait to get married here and report back on our experience--so far I give them three thumbs up!:)

Salvatore's was the most amazing venue and the best people! We had about 130 guests and that was the perfect size. Every detail was carried out to the T and the entire day was smooth with the help of Suzi and Lauren's expertise. Thank goodness for these two helping wrangle the wedding party and even helping me with little details that I forgot!! Also, I cannot say enough about how beautiful the venue was! It is an old classic Chicago vibe with lots of character and loved that we were not sharing the space with any other weddings. Plus, the food was fantastic and we received many compliments throughout the night. Everyone from the valet to the waiters/bartenders and of course, Suzi and Lauren, truly felt like a family and I felt that they also wanted this to be the best day for us. If I could give 6 stars I would, but you will not regret booking with Salvatore's!

Vickie was amazing!!!!! She was there for us every second of the way. Everyone was very kind and patient. I wouldnt have changed one thing. Our wedding was perfect. Again, Vickie was truly awesome. She treated me as family and gave me a warm welcome every time I saw her.

Salvatore's is by far is one of the best wedding venues in Chicago. My husband and I fell in love with the vintage and intimate atmosphere as soon as we layed eyes on this venue when we were searching for places in Chicago. We were planning the wedding from Houston and Suzi and Amanda made this process so easy. They were always willing to communicate with me and answered all my questions promptly down to the final days. The day of the wedding exceeding all of our expectations. Amanda and her crew helped set up all my decor, kept me up to date on everything without stressing me out, and made sure that my new husband and I were well taken care of the entire day. She even made our plates for us so we could enjoy the fantastic food. The brunch was amazing. The best French toast my husband and I have ever had! At the end of the wedding, she made sure all of our things were packed up! If anything went wrong, I didn't know about it. The day was absolutely perfect! If you are looking for a wedding venue, please. Check out Salvatore's. You will not be disappointed. Best day ever !!

Suzi & Amanda were extremely responsive to ALL my e-mails. Very professional. Beautiful venue, we loved all the different rooms available to the guests to relax and visit in without having to shout over the music. Food was spectacular. We gave our guests a choice of 4 entrees, all received rave reviews. Great value for the money as well. Awesome night!!

Our little Sunday brunch wedding at Salvatore's was truly awesome! I was sooo nervous about my mom and mother-in-law setting up the decor to my liking themselves but when they arrived at the venue, Amanda and Suzi took over and everything was exactly the way I had planned it, and so much of it was even better than I expected! They made my ideas even better! :-) I was also particularly impressed with Amanda's patience the day of. People were running her around, I had about a billion questions, and she maintained her happy and calm demeanor and was simply a pleasure to work with. She made sure we stayed on schedule every step of the way and everything went off without a hitch. The service staff were all on point, like seriously, my wedding there was perfect. PLUS, they are SO AFFORDABLE. You get so much for the value. Salvatore's is located in a prime location in Chicago and they're pricing is impressively cost effective. The only two gripes I have is that they charge for tastings and they wouldn't let us extend the time for our daytime wedding by an hour, even though there wasn't another event after ours and we were more than willing to pay extra...I hope they just do away with these rules in the future altogether. But outside of these very minor things, I cannot thank them enough for a great wedding and would absolutely recommend them, particularly for smaller, more intimate weddings!

Salvatore's was perfect! It was the exact atmosphere we were looking for...old supper club/restaurant/classic. Suzi and Amanda were fantastic, they were able to answer any question I had, they were pros! The night went off without a hitch and Suzi was hands on all night. I really appreciated them being so professional, but at the same time making me feel special. They've been through hundreds of weddings, but still understood this was my special day and treated it that way. Highly recommend Salvatore's!

I would recommend Salvatore's to everyone! It was intimate, the food was amazing and above all the staff was wonderful to work with! They made our wedding exceptional!

We wanted a wedding venue in the city that was full service and didn't require us to find our own caterer and service staff. We found Salvatore's after looking at several other restaurants and hotels and were so impressed with how much was included in our per person package for the price. We had also read some great reviews, and had a friend who got married here several years ago and spoke very highly of the experience. And we were not disappointed! Our wedding day could not have gone any better! We received so many compliments on the venue, the food, and the service. There were tons of passed appetizers during cocktail hour, and everyone was very impressed with dinner - we were even told by several people that the steak at our wedding was the best steak they'd had at any wedding ever.

Amanda & Suzi were amazing during the planning process, answering all of my questions quickly. The day of, I knew everything would be taken care of because they were so organized. Amanda even helped to bustle my dress at least 10 times during the reception.

I cannot recommend this venue enough. It was beautiful, so easy to deal with, and a great value for such a prime city location!

Best venue in Chicago! Amazing food and service. Couldn't have been happier with our wedding!

We recently hosted our daughter's wedding and reception at Salvatore's. We chose them because of all the positive reviews we read, the location, the menu options and the fact that they would help us set up the day of, given that I am from out of state. We were not disappointed on any count. The convenience of being able to have the ceremony and reception in one place with so many options was invaluable to us. Amanda and Suzi were so helpful with setting up our table décor and allowing us to retrieve our things the following morning. The food was absolutely fantastic. We wanted a true Italian feel so we went with the family style pastas and chicken. Yes it is all true about the tortellini and the farfalle with vodka sauce! Courses were served promptly and hot! The tableware was spotless. Wait staff was efficient and so pleasant!. We had caprese pops, smoked salmon on potato pancakes, stuffed mushrooms passed, with a platter of the best calamari ever, at a table in the middle of the room during cocktail hour. It just kept coming! Our price included delicious Tiramisu so that we eliminated the wedding cake and everyone was much happier! Salvatore's is in the event business, and they have mastered it..which is exactly what you want. We looked at other venue options but none compared to the value, service and quality of food and bar service. The location is charming and the interior needs absolutely nothing but beautiful flowers and on that note, if you can, I would recommend ordering from Costco's bulk flowers and doing them yourselves. We were then able to give the arrangements to the staff the next day. The best part of all, is the wonderful compliments we have received from all of our guests. We chose a Friday evening, to save some money, but also to allow guests, most from out of state, to have the entire weekend to enjoy the city. Thank you to Salvatore's for making this special life event nothing short of perfect! It was absolutely fantastic!

I had my wedding this past August at Salvatore’s and it was perfect. You know when people say, “Something always goes wrong on your big day and to not let it get to you.” Well I can honestly say that NOTHING went wrong! The venue itself is beautiful and completely fit the romantic look I was going for. I loved that there were different areas for guest to party in. I wasn’t interested in a banquet hall wedding where everyone is just in one large room so if you’re looking for something different this is definitely the place. The food was amazing, especially the baked salmon and tiramisu (the best I’ve ever had!). We opted out of serving wedding cake and instead served tiramisu to our guests and people raved it. Suzi and Amanda are a pleasure to work with and handled all my requests. When researching venues it was important that the coordinators where there to help and we didn’t need to hire an additional wedding/ event planner. They helped choose and ordered the linens, they set up all our extra decorations and even worked with me on a signature drink. Plus, they have an amazing vendor list, I used their recommended DJ and florist, which made my entire wedding planning a breeze! All in all, this place is a Chicago gem! I can definitely see myself planning other events here. (they do anniversary dinners, birthday parties, etc…)

My husband I recently hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at Salvatore's in May. I don't have enough nice things to say about Amanda and Suzi and the experience we had with them. Right away when we walked in for our appointment and after speaking with Suzi for a few minutes we knew this is where we wanted to host our wedding. The coordinators were super helpful and offered great ideas and were beyond flexible with our needs. One of the things we appreciated most about the venue was the lack of "hidden fees" they had. Everything was out in the open and clear to us what the cost would be. Another highlight without a doubt was the food! We still get compliments on the quality and freshness of the food! And their tiramisu is AMAZING! We opted for that instead of wedding cake and have zero regrets. I would absolutely recommend Salvatore's as a Chicago wedding venue!

We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at Salvatore's in July 2015. I could not have chosen a better location. We sought a venue that was beautiful, romantic, served excellent food, and that was cost-effective. We found all of those qualities in Salvatore's. Suzi and Amanda were very easy to work with and were very patient with a bride that asked a LOT of questions. They were very accommodating in all aspects and our wedding day seriously went off with out a hitch. All of our vendors complimented us on our venue. Salvatore's allowed us to host our dream wedding, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I cannot say enough great things about Salvatore's as our wedding venue. From day one, they made planning fun and easy. Any idea I came up with, they valued and made work for our big day. Suzi and Amanda are so great to work with and truly know how make the reception amazing. The food was amazing and people are still commenting on how it was the best wedding food they ever had. We had about 200 people and everyone was comfortable and had a blast. They really enjoyed the separate rooms (patio/dancing) so they could dance and still mingle as they wished. Salvatore's truly made our dream wedding come true and we are so, so grateful. Don't hesitate, book now!!!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Salvatore's in February, 2015, and were thrilled with our choice. The restaurant is beautiful and the perfect space for an intimate wedding ceremony and reception. The whole venue has a charming, old-school feel, and was such a warm and inviting atmosphere for the wedding. If you are looking for a site where you can have both your ceremony and reception, I would highly recommend Savlatore's. It was so easy to have the ceremony in the main room, followed by cocktail hour in the bar area while they converted the main room for dinner service (in less than 30 minutes). The whole process was incredibly smooth and efficient. Overall, choosing Salvatore's made our planning incredibly low maintenance, as the venue provided the perfect location for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, as well as a full food and drink package that included linens, tables, chairs, microphones/audio system, etc. Additionally, Amanda and Suzi, the venue coordinators, were very attentive to detail and easy to work with. They were always available when we needed to come in and see the space, and were very prompt and reliable about returning phonecalls or emails, or answering last minute questions. They were also invaluable on the day of the wedding, as they helped to ensure everything ran smoothly with all the vendors and set-up, and even assisted us in timing/orchestrating the ceremony (telling people when to start processing, etc). We had considered hiring a separate wedding planner, but it definitely was not necessary, as Amanda and Suzi were able to fill that role completely.
Finally, the food at Salvatore's is incomparable. Our guests are still raving about it. It really doesn't get any better when it comes to wedding food. We are so glad we chose Salvatore's for our wedding and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone!

Salvatore's was amazing! We worked primarily with Amanda, and she was able to help us with every need/want we had. If you're looking for an all-inclusive package, this is the spot! We didn't live in Chicago, so we wanted a venue where we could make as few pre-wedding trips as possible, and Salvatore's was perfect! The food was amazing, the servers were fast and kind, and the restaurant was beautiful. We didn't need any more decorations other than flowers for our wedding because the ambience was already wonderful.

I cannot say enough good things about working with Salvatore's for my wedding on 11/15/14. They made the entire process SO incredibly easy. I primarily worked with Amanda as our wedding coordinator, and I have to say she is simply the best. She saw us through the entire wedding planning process from the moment we chose Salvatore's (best idea we've ever had!) to the walk down the isle. She was always prepared with helpful suggestions, but never pushed us on our decisions. The space is beautiful - you really don't need much for decorations - they space really speaks for itself. The food is PHENOMENAL. We're about 2 weeks out from the day we got married and people are still talking about how great it was and inquiring about Salvatore's selling their vodka sauce. The day of the wedding everything went more smoothly than I could have imagined. The team at Salvatore's takes so much pride in what they do, and it is clear that they are extremely experienced in everything they do at the restaurant. If you are looking for a stress free planning process with great food and booze and an even more amazing staff... you'll regret any choice that isn't Salvatore's. Let them do what they do best and choose them for your wedding or event!!

As the mother of the bride, I found Salvatores professional, friendly and completely informed. Given that I do not live in the Chicago area, their clear, honest and prompt communication was a steady bridge to our wedding planning. There was an immediate response to all inquiries. When we were just looking and comparing venues, they quickly returned our phone calls. Once we selected Salvatores, they promptly scheduled a face-to-face review of an agreement. The agreement either included or assisted with most of the wedding and reception details. As we got closer to the wedding and specific questions concerning the agreement did arise, again, the Salvatores staff (Amanda) did respond quickly, clearly and always respectfully.

Many of our guests have commented on the Salvatores experience. The have shared that the food, appetizers and drinks were delicious and in abundance (I also agree). And they have consistently mentioned the beauty of the setting.

This venue transformed into timeless class. The grand piano in the entry distinctively welcomed our guest. Romantic lighting beamed through crystal in both dinning areas. The presence of wood trim, frames and furniture (oak, walnut and cherry) provided an abiding sense calm fortune. Acoustics were great. The staff severed with ease yet efficiency.

The over-all Salvatores wedding day experience made for story book, "happy ever after" wedding day memories. Thank you Salvatores.... and yes I highly recommend this venue.

I can not say enough good things about this venue! We had a blast at our wedding! The coordinators Amanda and Suzy were so helpful and got back to me with any questions almost immediately. The food was perfect and so was the service! My guests had wonderful things to say about everyone they interacted with at Salvatore's.

We had our wedding here back in June and it was simply amazing! I cannot praise the team at Salvatore's enough for executing the wedding of our dreams. Suzi and Amanda are a fantastic team to work with and they remembered every last detail of our day and overall event flow that we had in mind. The dinner service was impeccable as well as the food!!! They were quick, responsive and executed our 4 course meal in no time at all! We had so much fun, and our guests are STILL raving about it! Thank you so much for exceeding our expectations!!

Prep – They are extremely organized and experienced. They were prompt to respond to questions via email/phone in the time leading up to the wedding.

Wedding Ceremony/Cocktail Hour – The ceremony was completely set up how we wanted prior to us arriving at Salvatore’s. Suzi did a great job of getting everyone in place and giving directions to our bridal party. After the ceremony everyone moved into the west room for cocktail hour. The staff was immediately ready to pass drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Our guests loved the appetizers and the bartenders were quick with orders.

Dinner – During the cocktail hour, Salvatore’s staff did a wonderful job turning the ceremony area into the dining room. Each table was set up how we wanted. The food was delicious! We had many guests tell us how much they loved the food. The service was great. One of my fears was that dinner would take too long and cut into the reception time. Suzi ensured me that the staff would move it along and everything would be done in the budgeted amount of time. They definitely delivered!

Reception – The bartenders did a great job of making sure everyone got served. It was nice to have 2 bars to help cover everyone. The late night snacks were delicious! We had mini burgers, grilled cheese, and tator tots. Our guests loved it! Highly recommend going with this option.

After the wedding, the staff cleaned everything up and boxed up our decorations exactly how we delivered them. It was so easy for us!

We were beyond happy with our wedding and reception. They are extremely experienced and have a lot of wedding knowledge. We had so many guests compliment us on the venue, food, and service. Everything went smoothly and turned out perfect! We had such a wonderful day thanks to the Salvatore’s team!

My husband and I did an exhaustive search of wedding venues when we got engaged, we were looking for a smaller, unique, comfortable space that would inspire a romantic evening. Immediately when we walked in the door of Salvatore's, we fell in love with the place and when we met the staff, we knew it was our venue. The outside patio, where we had our ceremony, is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. And the two bar areas inside inspire a vintage feel and one is in a great room for dancing.

We mainly worked with Suzi but also with Amanda a bit. They were both amazing to work with and so accommodating. We wanted to do things a little custom, we had different ideas for the food and wanted to do a station set up. Suzi worked with us and the chef to bring our ideas to life and I couldn't have asked for anything better! She did a great job of taking what we wanted and making it work with what was in season and what the chef thought would be best. We also used some of their signature menu items, people are still raving about the veal pasta 

Throughout the whole planning process, Suzi and Amanda answered my never ending questions and helped me rain in my ideas to make everything come together and look beautiful. Everything turned out so perfectly the day of the wedding, the food was AMAZING day of and everything looked beautiful. Suzi was awesome at the wedding, totally on top of everything and made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing.

We would highly recommend Salvatore's to anyone looking for a smaller, unique venue. The space is beautiful and the staff is amazing to work with and it is honestly the best deal in the city.

My husband and I had to plan our wedding within a short period of time. Amanda and Suzi were wonderful to work with and couldn't have made things easier for us. The venue was perfect and they even helped us set up the center pieces which was a huge help as things were hectic :) the food was delicious and even my picky friends raved about it!! The location is beautiful as it also has a little garden adjacent to the restaurant it's perfect for pictures all in all it really was a perfect place and The staff was wonderful too thank you Salvatore's!! :)

We had our wedding at Salvatore's two weeks ago, and it was amazing. Amanda, Suzi (the event coordinators at Salvatore's) and the whole staff have made planning our wedding so easy and stress free. It was affordable too, which cannot be said about many venues in Chicago. They always responded to our emails right away, and didn't bat an eye when we wanted to include some unique traditions, like chopping wood and peeling a potato. One of the reasons we chose this venue was because they take care of absolutely everything: setting up, the food, the drinks, cleaning up afterwards. We had our ceremony there too. We could drop off all of our supplies during rehearsal (one day before the wedding) and then pick everything up the day after, so we didn't have to worry about transporting stuff on the wedding day. The venue itself is very beautiful and you need only minimal decorations for the tables. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the guests loved it. I get hungry just thinking about those stuffed mushrooms or their salmon. At first we thought to have a cake, but then we had their tiramisu during tasting and decided on the spot to have that instead. Salvitores was beyond wonderful. Our daughters wedding was so special. We had no worries from the moment we walked in the door, The wait staff is exceptional. Suzi is so lovely, handeled everything beautifully the night of. You will have no worries at all with Suzi. We dealt with Amanda through some of the planning, and she was wonderful too.
The restaurant is beautiful, wonderful atmosphere. All of our family and friends are telling us that is was the best wedding ever. If you want a special place, I would do it in a heartbeat. You walk in the door, and they take over.

Suzi and Amanda are the best! From the beginning stages of planning thru the actual event, they were always available to help. The food was excellent, service wonderful and the venue was amazing.

Salvatore's was the perfect venue for our wedding. Amanda was easy to reach throughout the entire process, which helped me stay organized, and she made me aware of any little details I may not have thought of. On the night of our event, I was blown away by the way the staff changed the rooms with ease, and the service was impeccable. All of my guests raved about food, service, venue, and location.
