  Salt Harbor is the BEST!

  We don't have enough good things to say about this team. For everything from the design of the space, the florals, working with our vendors with us, and the day of execution, our vision completely came to life. We have not stopped getting compliments about our day, and our guests saying it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. And Meaghan, our day-of director, was THE BEST. She kept us on schedule, the day flowing, and made sure we had everything we needed - and it was noticed by all of the guests and other vendors. I would work with this team over and over again if I could - we wouldn't change a thing!

  Salt Harbor is hands down the best Wedding Planners

  Salt harbor created a magnificent stunning wedding at Wrightsville Manor for my daughter and son-in-law in the most enjoyable stress-free professionally responsive way during a global pandemic. They made all my daughter's Pinterest, magazine, and original ideas come together perfectly and everything ran so smoothly on her big day.
  I really am at a loss of words to express how amazed, thrilled, and awestruck the couple and everyone was with all their creations and how it all came together so flawlessly. The gorgeous flowers, tables, lounge furniture, tent, lights, ceremony space and flowers, the cocktail hour, champagne wall, the neon light, "It was Always you", etc. were all exactly as the bride and groom envisioned them to be because the Salt Harbor team really listened and considered the couple's individual taste and used their expertise to make all the various wedding ideas come to fruition in a cohesive presentation.
  
  The entire planning process with Salt Harbor, from start to finish, was great too. They helped us navigate all the planning through a global pandemic and we were still able to enjoy the process and stay excited about our choices and watching everything come together. That was especially amazing considering the circumstances and the uncharted territory we all faced with planning a wedding within ever changing pandemic advisories. I cannot imagine what all the wedding vendors encountered and endured over the previous 18 months, but Salt Harbor listened, learned, and used their knowledge to create my daughter's dream wedding. When COVId came along and I had no idea what to do, or how to fix "it", I was especially glad we had Salt Harbor on our team. They gave very sound advice that enabled us to navigate through all the decisions and changes and helped us manage all the necessary adjustments to our pre-pandemic contracts. Thanks to science, guests willing to be vaccinated, Salt Harbor and Wrightsville Manor's coordination and pandemic policies, we were able to focus on making safe wise decisions for the wedding weekend and our guests.
  
  Salt Harbor was always quick to respond to our questions, offered many options in their replies to meet our needs and budget, and then worked to make our choices happen. The bride and groom absolutely loved everything and were awestruck when they had their first look at the venue before any guest arrived; One of many moments and memories they will always cherish from their wedding day.
  
  I also cannot say enough about Jordan, our "day of" coordinator from Salt Harbor. My goodness she was spot on over every little need we had during the rehearsal and wedding, before we even had them and smoothed out every single wrinkle with ease and confidence and without drama. I do not even know how many times she asked me if I needed anything, but it was a lot. The entire event ran so smoothly and transitioned from one point to another perfectly! From the rehearsal night to pre-wedding ceremony pictures, to the actual ceremony and getting all the guests, bridal party, a 2 year old ring bearer and puppy in place, to the cocktail hour, first dances, meal, speeches, cake cutting, reception non-stop party, couple send off and guest's safe transportation home, (be aware uber's are limited in Wrightsville currently and Jordan helped with that unexpected snafu as well) Everything just flowed like a well written script under her direction. She even sewed a button on the groom's Tux in less than 2 minutes.
  For the package we chose, Salt Harbor coordinated everything with the vendors as well, which was so worth it, especially with the pandemic. That is such a great part of what they offer their clients and one I highly recommend. We were so relaxed coming into wedding week knowing we literally did not have to do anything. People would ask me questions about how we did things and I would have to reply, I do not know, the planners took care of all that. Our role in this wedding plan was, point and click, and Salt Harbor made it happen.
  
  Salt Harbor's teamwork definitely made this wedding dream work, despite a pandemic. My daughter telling me the day after her wedding day, “ Mom, thank you so much, that was the best day of my life”, with tears running down her face, is one of those once in a lifetime Aaaaah moments we strive for as parents and a memory I will always cherish. Thank you Salt Harbor for being a very big part of that moment.

  I worked with Salt Harbor Designs for several months planning a destination wedding. I attended a friend’s wedding and loved Jennifer’s attention to detail and how effortlessly the events flowed. The local vendors were excited to collaborate with Salt Harbor Designs and everyone involved created an extraordinary celebration. Jennifer is willing to think outside of the box and create unique touches for a highly personal and exceptional experience. She created a one of a kind wedding invitation that created excitement for the upcoming festivities. She has an amazing ability to deliver what exists only in your imagination! If you can imagine it, Jennifer will deliver! She is open to all possibilities and can make your dream a reality! She has an amazing team of very talented people and an endless array of resources! And, if she can’t find it, she will build it! She is a truly gifted designer and true to her motto, “the story is found in the details”! The bride and groom’s 365 guests will forever be part of their story attending several wedding weekend events that were orchestrated to be festive, flavorful and fun! From our very first meeting with Jennifer, we were convinced that Salt Harbor was exactly what we were looking for in terms of design and coordination services. We immediately knew Jennifer was able to see our vision, and we immediately had confidence in her and the rest of the team's ability to help our dream come to life. Jennifer, Sara, and Anna were quick communicators and SO flexible and organized. They kept us calm and collected throughout the entire planning process. There are so many details that would have been overlooked by my husband and I if it was not for their expertise and experience. On the day of the wedding, they followed-through and went above and beyond anything we could have ever imagined. Sara kept us relaxed and on-schedule, while Jennifer worked to design our beautiful ceremony and reception space with florals and decor.   Salt Harbor Designs made our wedding day AMAZING! The staff is phenomenal! Jennifer designed the most beautiful flowers for our wedding and captured my vision perfectly with the design and details of my wedding venue. The mock table set up a few weeks before my wedding that Jennifer set up was such a great touch! She made sure that she was designing exactly what I wanted! Anna was so helpful during the entire planning process! She helped me through every decision that I needed help with and answered all of my questions quickly and effectively! She also helped me the morning of my wedding with last minute details! And Sara was the highlight of my wedding!! She has to be the best wedding coordinator in Wilmington. She made sure everything ran smoothly and perfectly! She thought of EVERYTHING!!! Things that I had not even thought about, Sara took care of. I am so very thankful for her!   My husband Paul & I hired Salt Harbor to plan our large destination wedding @ Figure 8 Island in November 2017. We both led busy lives in NYC and Jennifer and Ashley were phenomenal took charge of making sure every single element of the day was thoughtfully executed - we gave them full control of every wedding event(rehearsal dinner, welcome party, cocktails, wedding, reception, afterparty, Sunday brunch) and every event was better than the last. They planned every element to a tee and made the entire event the best weekend of our lives. Jennifer is incredibly creative and was able to take every little idea we had and make it a reality. The Salt Harbor team was also able to seamlessly work around last minute weather changes, in our case cold weather in November, and had additional tents and heaters brought in before we could even ask. Their relationship with local vendors + bands was exceptional and everyone was thrilled to be a part of our weekend. We had people fly in from all over the world and people are still talking about how fabulous the weekend was. We cannot rave enough about this team!

  Jen and her team at Salt Harbor are phenomenal! We could not have asked for a nicer or more professional team to work with! We planned our Wilmington, NC wedding from NYC so in person visits could only happen once or twice, but the email and phone communication was excellent! The week of our wedding was seamless and even though rain threatened our day, everything turned out PERFECT. Sara is an EXCELLENT day of coordinator and ran our day perfectly, I never once worried if things were going as planned! We continue to wish we could live our wedding day again, as it was gorgeous, beautiful, and stress free for us, the bride and groom. All of our guests could not stop ( and they still are telling us!) how beautiful the flowers and ceremony and reception set up were. Our wedding was intimate, romantic and truly US.   I have nothing but praise for Jennifer and the Salt Harbor team. We live in NYC, but we're planning our wedding in Wilmington and it was all a bit overwhelming until we found Salt Harbor. Jennifer covered details he hadn't even thought of. The design of everything from our invitations to the flowers was fantastic and the table settings were breathtaking. My husband and I agree that the best thing we did in terms of wedding planning was finding Salt Harbor!

  Salt Harbor Designs gave our daughter the wedding of her dreams! From the first day we met with Jennifer to the time when our daughter and her husband drove off after the reception, every detail was perfection. The flowers and decor for the wedding and reception were magnificent! I still have friends who comment on how beautiful and elegant the reception was that evening. Having the Day of Services was wonderful and took all the stress off of us so we could enjoy and celebrate this day! I would highly recommend Salt Harbor to anyone who wants a wedding that stands out with class and beauty.

  Jennifer was an incredible member of the team that made our wedding exactly as we had hoped. Her style and attention to detail is spot on. She was able to translate our ideas into a spectacular setting. Being from DC, planning remotely, had the chance of being very difficult, but Jennifer was a pro and able to put this together for us with few trips down. We can't reccomend her more for her style, work and professionalism.

  We had a garden themed wedding so the flowers were one of the most important aspects of the wedding decorations for us. As soon as we walked into the reception, we could smell the flowers. Everything was so beautiful! Jennifer delivered our vision perfectly. Everything was soft and elegant. Even some of our vendors were asking who our florist was so they could recommend her. I highly recommend Salt Harbor. They're worth every penny.

Our wedding design and florals were unique to who we are as a couple and represented us and our vision perfectly. I cannot tell you the difference an investment in day-of coordinating and wedding design will make to your experience as a bride. There was no stress, no arguments, no worrying! We were truly able to enjoy the process of being engaged and focus on what mattered most... our union with one another. Now five years into marriage, Salt Harbor remains one of the best decisions we have to look back on... thank you all at SHD for making our day so special.

  Jennifer Rose is AMAZING. Seriously amazing. I came to her with what I thought was an odd, very "Tiffany" vision and she blew me away with her execution of her design. She literally listened to every random detail and put them all together in a way that just looked perfectly Southern, Elegant, Summery, Playful and Me.
  
  It was perfect. From the biscuits and honey centerpieces to the lace and burlap, with accents of yellow and peachy orange flowers on farm style tables. It was incredible!

  Salt Harbor was amazing! I live in TN and they still managed to work with me on every detail and nailed the look I was going for. They were extremely reliable, professional, and prompt with responding to emails/phone calls. These girls are on top of their game and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

  I got married in Wilmington, NC on September 15, 2012 and Salt Harbor Designs was our event planner and also provided us with a director for our rehearsal and wedding/ceremony. I can not say enough great things about them! They were my saving grace throughout this whole planning process, especially since I live in California and was planning my wedding from there. When I was in NC they were always very willing to work with my schedule to make appointments to come in and meet with them. Jennifer was in charge of all the decor of our wedding including paper products and flowers and she is so awesome at what she does. I could give her an idea I had and she would make it into something even more amazing than what I had told her. Everything I asked of her she did and she did it amazingly! She really gets to know your personal style and makes your wedding about what you like. She was great about giving me opinions when I asked for them and helping me make decisions I was having trouble making. When I walked into my reception and looked around it brought tears to my eyes at how beautiful and absolutely perfect everything was. It was truly the wedding of my dreams thanks to Jennifer and Anna from Salt Harbor and I can't thank them enough!!! Sarah was our event director and she was just as awesome! She was very efficient and helpful. She made us an itenerary that was awesome! She was so easy to work with as well! By the end of everything I had the wedding I had always wanted and dreamed of and I felt like I had made friends as well!   I am so thankful for having Salt Harbor Designs participate in our wedding. It was AMAZING from the beginning to end of the day.
  
  Meeting Salt Harbor— I remember when I first started planning our wedding that I was feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to create an ‘as close to perfect as it gets’ day. This feeling was eased when 1st talking with Jen. Not only is she an artist(!), she is an efficient coordinator with a great team. I was confident my day would turn into a great scene after talking with her, and it did.
  
  The coordination— We planned our wedding from abroad since we live in Hong Kong but were getting married in Wilmington, which was a super challenge given the time zone difference. I wasn’t able to easily pop into a vendor’s shop to discuss details or make a phone call easily even. I relied on Salt Harbor to follow-up on many of my emails to vendors or answer my lists and lists of questions. Salt Harbor was easily accessible by phone and email with quick responses, so this eased my time zone challenge. During my 2 trips home to Wilmington during wedding planning, I leaned on Salt Harbor to pull together ‘power sessions’ for me where all vendors would come to their office in 1 day and sit down with us to run through the details as quick as we could before I had to leave town again.
  
  The day of coordination led by Sara L. was a necessity for us! Sara was on top of where everyone was supposed to be and when. We would have been lost without her and probably never even made it to cake cutting by the end of the night. She was an awesome addition to the day, and I trusted her, as well as the wedding party, because she was quick on her feet.
  
  The look— The Salt Harbor team turned our wedding into a dream-- with all the beautiful paper, flowers and elements of décor that expressed Will and I’s life together. I have been flooded with compliments from guests that our wedding was gorgeous. I have even received comments from those who typically never notice décor details that the scene was wonderful, especially on the jaw dropping tulip chandeliers. The details were a hit of the party and proved to be something to remember. The Salt Harbor team really added value by letting me bounce ideas off of them and actually topping all my ideas with wedding details that were even better than what I was imagining.
  
  Overall, Salt Harbor Team, you have been a pleasure to work with and have helped us create a memory that will last a lifetime!!

  Jennifer and her team are absolutely amazing at what they do but are also so pleasant to work with! They made the wedding process so much more enjoyable and took a lot of stress off of my mom and me. I highly recommend her services.

  Salt Harbor Designs is an amazing company! I love design and planning so it was hard to hire a team to do what I love to do, but DIY'ing a wedding in general is tough and I was planning from NYC, so Salt Harbor was a necessary vendor for us!
  The ladies at Salt Harbor have beautiful taste and great ideas and were so welcoming to my ideas as well. One of the best things about SHD was that with one vendor you get: paper goods, flowers, linens, candles, lanterns, signs, favors, design rentals, lighting, furniture rentals, etc... When putting together a wedding it can be overwhelming with the amount of people you need to be in contact with. With SHD you essentially get 10 companies in 1. Another benefit of that is everything within the space, design, colors, style all are cohesive because they have control of everything.
  The final product of my wedding was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted and more. I didn't want to leave the space it was so cozy and beautiful. People are still raving at how beautiful everything was.
  Jen, Anna and the rest of the team are wonderful to work with and I hope to have more events in the future to have the pleasure to work with them again.

  As soon as I got engaged, I knew I had to have Salt Harbor as my wedding planner and florist. What I didn't know was how much more than that Jennifer and her team would be come. Everyone is very friendly, genuine and professional. Jennifer was so reassuring from the very beginning that my dream wedding was possible with my budget and that our venue would work perfectly (we were a bit concerned about our guest list number and having both ceremony and reception there). Anna, their office coordinator (and more in my eyes!), was always on top of things and just a phone call or email away, and gave great advice as a recent bride herself. Jennifer is a true artist when it comes to flowers and decor. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! I was instantly in love with the rustic, casual feel of our wedding, that some how at the same time felt elegant. She completely got us and what we had envisioned our day to be. She is truly an expert! Laura, our wedding director, was simply amazing! She was right there at every moment I needed her, handle any issues that arose (which in the moment, I had NO clue about, as it should be, and did not hinder any fun!) and really helped to make sure our night was just as we had imagined, and honestly even more! I cannot thank Salt Harbor Designs enough for our beautiful wedding!

We kept stumbling across the most stunning wedding photos that all had one thing in common: Salt Harbor Designs. We quickly got on the phone with Jennifer and set up a meeting for the next time we'd be in NC (we live in DC). Jennifer, Lindsey and Anna made the entire wedding-planning process a total breeze. Long-distance wedding-planning could have been a total nightmare, but thanks to Salt Harbor, we were able to enjoy the entire process.   Salt Harbor and Harborside Designs provided some rental decor for our recent wedding. I fell in love with their design on their website and at the Courtyards & Cobblestones event in Wilmington. Their webpage is an excellent resource for design ideas if you are just needing a few items to rent, or if you need full design services. We only needed a few items and they were great to put together a quote for me on the several items we wanted to rent for our wedding reception. They delivered on time and promptly removed the items from the venue after our event. If you are looking for ideas for your wedding design, I encourage you to call them and check out their website.
