Chelsea was professional and very accommodating from the start. She stayed in contact with me right up to the day of my wedding, always reassuring and confident. She did a beautiful job on all our hair, from myself to my brides maids to my mom. Best hair and makeup team!

Chelsea and Angela are the dream team!!! I couldn't have asked for a better beauty team for my wedding day. They were amazing at my trial! On the day, they showed up on time and ready to go, were incredibly fun, kind and accommodating and wanted to make sure I loved everything. Chelsea was also sooo good with my 4 year old niece who generally doesn't like when people do her hair and didn't know how to describe what she wanted. Chelsea was so patient with her and redid her hair until she was happy with it. I highly recommend them for your wedding day. I would rebook them again and again! Thank you Chelsea and Angela!!!

Last Minute Connection!

After my hairstylist pulled out right before my wedding, someone suggested I reach out to Chelsea to see if she was available. I couldn't have lucked out more when she said she was! I really think everything happened for the best even though there was some stress around the situation.

Chelsea was an absolute pleasure to work with. She made me feel beautiful and helped talk through my vision with me, which helped us land on the perfect style! I feel so lucky to have sat in her chair and she brought the most fun energy to the morning when we were all getting ready. Her and the other hair professionals she brought with her listened to the girls needs and were super flexible if anyone had any changes they wanted. She even went beyond to move locations to do the mother's hairstyles after the bridal party was finished, since my mom has mobility issues.

If Chelsea and her team is available, I recommend you book her! You will be in the best hands.

Hair and makeup

Chelsea has been a lifelong friend, and I couldn't imagine having anyone else do my hair for my wedding. Chelsea and her team were absolutely amazing to work with and very easygoing about the whole experience. Chelsea and her team did an amazing job on everyones hair. The styles held all night and didn't lose shape. Heather did an amazing job with mine, and my bridesmaids make up and made us all feel amazing. I could not be happier that I was able to work with Chelsea and her team. I would highly recommend them to any bride.

The best!!!!!

Chelsea, Angela, and the rest of their team was absolutely incredible!!! From the trial, Chelsea and Angela were the absolute sweetest. I was definitely indecisive about what I wanted, but Chelsea and Angela were able to make any changes from the trial to the wedding day with ease to make me love the way I looked and feel like a queen. We had a total of 11 ladies to get ready with hair and makeup and they did such an amazing job. Every one of my girls looked absolutely beautiful and loved their hair and makeup. Hanging out with Chelsea, Angela, and the rest of her staff while getting ready was such a fun and relaxed part of our special day. Cannot recommend their team enough!

Wedding hair and makeup

Chelsea and her team were a pleasure to work with! They were able to deliver exactly what myself and my bridal party wanted for hair and makeup. They were also a lot of fun! End your search! This crew is amazing

Chelsea and Heather did my and my family's hair and makeup for my wedding this past weekend. They were an absolute dream. I didn't have the availability to arrange a trial so this was a small leap of faith, but Chelsea was happy to chat with me on the phone about ideas. They sorted out a good timeline for the morning and created a fun, relaxed atmosphere for our getting-ready party. My sisters, friends, and mother looked great with their hair and makeup, and still looked like themselves, just elevated a little. I wasn't sure exactly what to ask for my hair. I was thinking braided style, but messier. I hadn't seen a photo of exactly what I wanted. Chelsea was undeterred and knew exactly what I wanted, even though I didn't know myself. She took the time to match my natural curl pattern and put my hair in the most beautiful braid I'd ever seen. Heather was so much fun to talk to and absolutely crushed the makeup. She hid my stress-induced blemishes and made me feel beautiful. I still looked like myself, just my bridal version. I can't say enough good things about this team.

So talented, so much fun!

I hired Chelsea & Heather at Salon52 to do my wedding hair & makeup and I truly cannot say enough good things. They were extremely laid-back, so much fun to work with, and really knew what they were doing when it came to hair and makeup. I was pretty indecisive with what I wanted for my look and they were so incredibly patient as I came in for trial after trial, working through minor detail changes each time. They wouldn't stop until I was 110% in love with the look, and I can't thank them enough for that. It made all the difference to love my look, feel amazing, and be totally stress-free on my wedding day. Not only did they did they make me feel great, but they did an incredible job with both hair and makeup for my nine other girls! All the girls chose unique looks and were so happy with how they each came out. Many of them are now even using inspo pics of their hair & makeup from my wedding for other weddings/their own! We had so much fun hanging out with them all day too. They really helped minimize any stress and brought such a good vibe to the "getting ready" part of the day!

Best hair/makeup team!

Chelsea and her team stood by me through two postponements during the COVID pandemic. They were extremely flexible and kind, helpful, and answered every question I had. On the big day, Chelsea, Heather, Lindsay, and Angela got everyone's hair and makeup done in a timely manner (not an easy feat for 10 people!) and everyone looked amazing.
I appreciated that everyone looked natural and not too overdone. I was concerned about my skin and I also really appreciated Heather answering all my questions leading up to the big day and taking her time so I looked my best!

Chelsea and Heather are the dream team! I am a COVID bride who had to reschedule to July 2021. They were so accommodating during that crazy time and easily moved their services to my new date. These two are not only professional and talented but are so much fun to be around. They are easy-going and kind while making sure you and your loved ones look beautiful. Each of my bridesmaids were able to select their own hair and makeup styles and Chelsea and Heather made everyone look and feel like a rock star. They also went above and beyond when at the last minute they accommodated my grandmother, who is undergoing chemo, and did her hair and makeup. Chelsea also has a background in working with wigs and easily styled my grandmother’s wig. I HIGHLY recommend Salon 52 for your wedding!!!

Perfection

Chelsea does my hair on a regular basis. Two months before the wedding I through her a curve ball and said I wanted to be blonde and I needed to order extensions. She helped me through every step, got my hair to the color I desired, all while making sure it said healthy and strong. Chelsea and her team are skilled, professional and all around wonderful to work with. I changed my wedding date and despite the craziness of Covid, there was never a breakdown in communication and I was always confident and made to feel supported. The day of the wedding they made everyone feel beautiful and heard and everyone was beyond happy with the results.

Wedding perfection

Me and my family have used Salon 52 for 3 weddings now! I can’t compliment them enough!
They are beyond professional, flexible, and kind. My wedding date and number of girls to doll up changed multiple times because of covid. Chelsea checked in with my throughout the summer, sending her kind words of encouragement. She reassured me that anything we needed she would be there. Her sister Heather’s makeup work is flawless- even having to wear a mask my makeup still looked perfect all night. Highly recommend!!

Best decision ever!

I CANNOT say enough amazing things about the team at Salon52. Chelsea and Heather were beyond wonderful both at my trial and on the big day! My wedding date was originally set for July and they were extremely flexible and understanding when I had to postpone to October due to COVID. When I went for my trial I was welcomed with open arms and left looking like an absolute goddess. I could not wait for the big day to hang out with them again. They even hyped me up in a group chat we had leading up to the wedding. (Mind you I had only met these ladies one month before.) On the day of, they arrived on-time and quickly moved through the 10 of us making sure every last detail was perfect. The hair and makeup lasted all day and night. If you book them for your wedding you will have nothing to worry about besides looking fabulous and having the best time on your big day!

These ladies are artists 😍 we used Salon 52 for my big day and received so many compliments. From the moment I met Chelsea at my hair trial, I knew she was going to kill it on my wedding day. Highly Recommend!!

I had the most positive & amazing experience with Chelsea & her team! She did my hair for my 9/4 wedding as well as my bridal party’s. Given the limitations COVID presented, I was unable to have my hair trial with her prior to the wedding. This was very concerning to me because I could only show Chelsea the look I envisioned & hope for the best. Wow, did she deliver! For starters, every time I reached out to Chelsea via email she was so responsive & attentive to my concerns. I’ve never worn hair extensions before & my veil felt rather heavy so speaking to Chelsea beforehand gave me the reassurance I needed. Amazing! Can't wait to use for my big wedding!

Chelsea was amazing to work with from the start! She's very responsive and answers all of your questions. I had originally planned to use her services for me and all of my bridesmaids for my large wedding but had to postpone due to COVID. She was able to be flexible and still style my hair for my "microwedding" this August. Due to COVID we weren't able to have a trial, but after showing Chelsea a few different pictures she totally nailed what I wanted! This was even more impressive because I am not usually the best at communicating exactly what I want when it comes to hair and makeup. Chelsea worked amazingly with my hair type and was so personable the whole time. She also rearranged her schedule so that she could be there early enough to do my hair. Saved me from worst trial and rescued me with bridal beauty

I came to this salon very late in the wedding game due to a previous trial going horribly wrong (they have the pics lol) and they saved me...I was so traumatized from previous trial, that I wouldn’t look in the mirror until it was totally done...they were so great and fun that I was quickly forgetting my nervousness and when the work was done I was blown away...I couldn’t believe how they did exactly what I wanted...I looked amazing...like myself but elevated by ten whole other levels...couldn’t stop looking in the mirror. Obviously the wedding went even better for everyone!!!

My hair looked STUNNING!!

Best experience ever!

I want to start off with Chelsea herself. Chelsea is a beautiful woman, beautiful mother and beautiful soul. She listened to my concerns, gave me helpful recommendations, and just made sure that I would look my absolute best on my wedding day.
Not only did Chelsea & Johnna do my Bridal hair, but they also did 7 Bridesmaids, 1 MOB, 1 MOG, & my sister-in-law. Each girl had specific hair styles they wanted, and Chelsea & Johnna executed it so perfectly. It can be difficult to match a hairstyle on Pinterest, but they were able to do that while flattering everyone's head shape. Seriously.. everyone's hair looked STUNNING, including MINE! I have very thick, black hair ... and those curls were rock solid while still receiving that natural romantic look that I hoped for. I received so many compliments!! I felt like a BEAUTIFUL BRIDE on my wedding day.

Now for what the future brides want to hear:

Pricing: in this competitive market, unique and flawless is definitely reasonable. The quality definitely exceeds her price.

Flexibility: My Mom was so picky with her hair, especially because it is so short. My mom changed her hair style 2-3x, and not once did Chelsea give me or her a hard time. Chelsea wanted everyone to feel comfortable in their choice of hair, and never gave up on us until we felt beautiful. She took her time with each girl, and you were able to tell, because by the end of the night... our hair still looked flawless!

Punctuality: My bridal party & I got ready at The Grand Hotel. Chelsea & Johanna arrived to the dressing room on time, and made sure each girl had their hair done on schedule, so we were ready for our photographer. They NEVER rushed! Chelsea even stayed longer during my photo shoot to make sure my veil was on correctly, and gave my bridesmaids tips to keep the veil sturdy for the ceremony.

Obsessed - amazing!

I booked Chelsea after reading reviews and reaching out to a few different vendors in the area. Although I didn't get to meet her until 1-2 months before my wedding, I am SO thankful I found her. Not only is she an amazing hair stylist but she is also the most genuine and funny person.

When I went in for my hair trial, I showed her a few different photos of what kind of low bun I wanted and she explained the differences between the photos to help me distinguish what I was looking for. She told me which one I was going to end up wanting, but I was indecisive so she then went and tried every single style I showed her and took photos of each. Of course, her prediction from the start was right. She also suggested I added more volume to the front of my hair which I didn't want, but explained how each option would look in photos. Naturally, she was right on this one as well. In addition to the trial, she also took a look at my hair extensions (which I've been through the ringer with) to analyze how they had been done and made suggestions of what to do going forward.

While I was there for the trial, I had mentioned how my makeup artist bailed on me three weeks before the wedding. I had found someone else through a friend, but she wasn't being super responsive so I was a little nervous. Chelsea said she would reach out to a few contacts and ensure that someone would be available day of just in case.

Fast forward to day of, everyone was SO happy with their hair (I've been a bridesmaid several times and am typically not in love with what I end up with) - Chelsea made sure to listen to every detail of the bridesmaids requests and made sure everything was perfect before leaving. On top of this, she was just hilarious and friendly the entire time and made the morning of so much more enjoyable. I honestly wish I could've convinced her to stay and be a bridesmaid and lock her in as a forever friend lol. Overall, go with Chelsea for your big day!! Not only will you have fabulous hair, but you'll be so relaxed day of knowing you are in good hands with someone who truly has the brides best interest at heart.

Chelsea & Johnna I can't thank you both enough for being there for my girls and I on my wedding day! From the second I got engaged, I knew I wanted you ladies to take care of us and I'm so thankful you were available! Chelsea went out of her way to confirm our start time the day before, and her & Johnna arrived on time and ready to go! They worked so quickly and efficiently that they finished all 9 of us in about 4 hours. Not only are they quick, but their work is absolutely elegant and stunning. As the bride, I had a half up/half down vision and Chelsea completely nailed it! My bridal trial was 4 months prior to my wedding and she remembered EXACTLY what I wanted. Not only that, but she far exceeded my expectations and my hair came out even more beautiful than I could have ever wanted it to on my special day!! Chelsea and Lindsay were amazing with getting us ready for my wedding. They did my entire bridal party- and everyone loved how their hair came out! Chelsea was great with reaching out and keeping in touch leading up to the wedding. She was honest and helpful at my trial, and truly made everything feel so easy. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she reached out several times to check in and see if I needed anything. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. They were the best and I would 100% recommend them to others!

Great service, even greater hair-dos!

I had the opportunity to get my hair done by Johnna for my wedding and could not have been happier! I was able to get a hair trial months before the wedding and ended up changing my mind on the wedding day. Johnna did not even think twice - she did such an amazing job with the hair that I still look at pictures in awe! The bridesmaids also got their hair done by Johnna and she was able to give them exactly what they asked for and was so cool to hang with during the process. Will definitely go to Studio 52 for hair in the future, without a doubt!

Wedding Hair and Makeup

Chelsea, Johnna, Heather & Angela were incredible. The level of professionalism and calmness they brought on our wedding day was amazing. Hair & Makeup for 10 girls in 3 hours was incredible to watch. Each and every girl looked absolutely stunning and received compliment after compliment throughout the day. Lovely group of ladies!

Johnna and heather did our hair and make up for my wedding day and they were absolutely amazing to work with. They were both sweet and professional, and they took their time with every person in my wedding party. They made sure our hair and make up was exactly what we wanted. "A Stunning Bride" thanks to Heather and Lindsay!

I chose Salon 52 for my wedding day hair and makeup as they came highly recommended from other brides as well as other vendors. I can absolutely say it was one of the best decisions made in the planning process.
From the moment I met Heather and Lindsay I knew I was in good hands. Not only were they beautiful themselves, but when I turned around to finally look in the mirror at my trial appointment I was blown away. I loved the way I looked! That's not always easy for women to say lol. But I did! And I could actually see myself walking up to my husband for our "First Look" and knew he would think I looked beyond beautiful.
The day of the wedding Heather and Lindsay helped keep me calm and talked and joked so easily with my wedding party. They were so easy going and relate-able, it felt like old friends just hanging out.
Lindsay had assisted me in finding quality and affordable extensions for the big day that would blend with my hair color perfectly. I loved the extra volume and sexiness it added.
Heather suggested a color palette that would go with my skin tone and eyes and I trusted her completely. She absolutely has mastered her craft! She even stopped in to our reception to check on me since she was close by

Thank You Ladies!

We reached out to see if the ladies at Salon 52 were available to do our hair and makeup for our rehearsal dinner (on a Friday in September) six months before the date. We were lucky to learn that Angela could do our make-up, and Lindsay to do our hair. We were two brides, a maid of honor, one mother of the bride, and another mother of the bride for just make-up.

The second mother of the bride decided against the make-up two weeks before the date. Even though Salon 52’s contract does state that you can’t take anyone off the contract after the final headcount 90 days before the event, they generously agreed not to charge us. We really appreciated it.

On the day of the rehearsal, we were on a tight schedule. We had just gotten to the house we were staying at in the Hudson Valley when Angela and Lindsay arrived (early, which was great). Everything was a bit hectic, but they really changed the vibe. They were funny, warm, quick, and great at what they did, instantly calming all of us when we needed it. Not to mention, they listened to exactly what we wanted and delivered. We were thrilled with the results and with how great they were to work with during such a stressful time.

We absolutely would recommend Salon 52, especially Angela and Lindsay as a team since they are such good friends and communicated well together to keep things on task. Thanks for everything, ladies!

Amazing girls

The first vendor I booked when I was engaged was salon 52 . I knew I didn’t want anyone else doing my hair and makeup. Chelsea, Ang and Johnna were incredible!! Everything was seamless from booking to my trial to the day of. That morning the girls were professional while also making us all feel so comfortable, I felt like I just had my girlfriends over to hangout. My hair and makeup was flawless, I never felt so beautiful and confident as I did that day. My bridesmaids hair and makeup was spot on , each girl had a different style and look and these girls nailed. The day was perfect, I can’t thank them enough!!

Johnna is amazing!

Johnna was super efficient, and extremely friendly! She always does an amazing color job at the salon and she did an even better job with our wedding hair. We had 5 girls that needed to get done and she didn’t even need an assistant!! 10/10 would reccomend her services to anyone!!

Chelsea was absolutely amazing! She not only listened to exactly I wanted, but she worked SO fast the day of the wedding. Everyone who got her hair done by her in my wedding party raved about how much they loved their hair and how well it stayed in. She did my hair Friday morning, and it stayed all day, even through the heat during outdoor photos, all night, slept on it, and all day the next day. Magic! I couldn't recommend her more!! Chelsea & Lindsay were absolutely amazing to work with for my girl's and my hair for our wedding. During my trial Chelsea worked with me trying out an up & down style so were set for any kind of weather for my big day. I even drove back 2 hours to have Chelsea color my hair so it was perfect for the big day. They were extremely responsive to all of my crazy bride questions and concerns. I even added people the day before to get their hair done and they both had everyone ready in record time. I had over 15 girls getting their hair done ranging from my flower girl, to my grandma, from beautiful updos, to my insane mane down in beautiful thick curls. Everyone looked fantastic. Everyone's hair lasted through the night, looking just as amazing at the end as when we first finished. I cannot recommend them enough if you are considering them for your day! Thank you Chelsea & Lindsay!

Salon52 is amazing! I loved working with Chelsea, Heather, and team for my hair and makeup for my wedding this past June. They were quick to respond, professional and extremely flexible and accommodating-- they moved around appointments so that my trial could be on a day when I had another wedding to go to, and they were willing to squeeze in my aunt last minute on my wedding day when her hair appointment had fallen through. Chelsea and Heather really listened to what my bridesmaids and I wanted and everyone was super happy and looked so beautiful!! They went above and beyond and we had so much fun hanging with them all day :)

Chelsea and her team are incredibly talented and professional. They did myself and my bridesmaids hair and makeup for my May 2018 wedding and all of us have never felt more gorgeous. My trial was one and done– they absolutely nailed it. I came with photo inspiration and Chelsea and Angela brought my dream to life instantly. Thats saying a lot, because I usually like to do my own hair and makeup. My bridesmaids all said the same and have been asking for all of Salon 52's product recommendations ever since the wedding. Choosing my hairstylist for my wedding was one of my last tasks since I had no idea what I wanted. I had heard great things about Salon 52 and sent an inquiry. Chelsea responded quickly and was able to answer all of my questions. When I went in for my trial my MOH and I had a blast! Chelsea and Lindsay did a phenomenal job and gave us some great tips and suggestions.
On my wedding day Chelsea and Lindsay came right on time. They were so personal and professional! Everyone looked gorgeous and felt stunning and I can’t recommend Salon 52 enough!

OMG! This review is LONG overdue!!! Where do begin?!?! I wish I could give 100000 stars to Chelsea and her team!!! I booked them for my wedding on 12/8/17. Growing up as a professional Actress and Singer, it was hard for me to decide on a hairstylist for our wedding. I spent endless nights researching online. I came across Chelsea and Salon 52 and was immediately intrigued. When I went to my trial, I just KNEW Chelsea was EXACTLY what I was looking for. From the moment of my intial contact with the salon to meeting Chelsea in person, everyone was so warm and really made you feel comfortable. I showed Chelsea a few different pictures of what I liked and talked about what I didn't like. Well, she completely NAILED it on the very first trial!!! I could not wait to work with her on the wedding day!!! The wedding day came and she arrived and I just felt like I had known her my whole life! She was so wonderful, defintely put my nerves at ease and when I finally saw myself after my hair was done, happy would be an UNDERSTATEMENT!!! It was better than I could have ever imagines and exactly what I had dreamed of!!!! The team at Salon 52 is AMAZING!!!! I got married on July 2, 2017 at Red Maple Vineyard in West Park, NY. I had a pretty big bridal party (11 gals in total, plus my mom) and Chelsea and her team were so accommodating! They showed up bright and early on July 2 ready to rock! We had so much fun with them. My friends and family in the bridal party had their hair and make up done before professionally by others in the past, but everyone just kept saying how beautiful they all felt, and honestly everyone looked A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I was a crazy bride and totally changed my hairstyle that I had done with Chelsea weeks prior at our trial run, but she was up for the challenge on the morning of my big day! Chelsea did an amazing job making my bridal hair dreams come true! Flower crown and all! And Heather's make-up was perfection. I told her how I wanted to look, and she did it without hesitation or errors! The fake lashes are the best part of all! The other hair and make-up team that Chelsea and Heather brought along with them for my bridal brigade were excellent, too! Not one of my bridesmaids/matrons were unhappy and wanted something redone, it was perfection! Sarah is so easy to work with also and she's great at coordinating and planning everything perfectly for your big day to run smoothly. These girls are amazing, and I highly recommend them for your special event! You won't be disappointed :)

Salon 52 was the best choice for hair and makeup! chelsea did my hair and heather did my makeup. Chelsea is a magician with hair and listens to everything you want and makes it better! she was so reassuring and calming during a stressful day :). Heather is the absolute sweetest person ever! she is so fun and understood that i don't like to wear a lot of makeup but was able to make me glamorous enough for my wedding day! What can't I say about this team. Chelsea and Heather are gods (no really they are). From the first email to the last bobby pin, they were beyond amazing. My girls looked stunning and the entire staff made even the most elaborate of Pinterest hairstyles come to life. Even my 82 year old grandmother looked flawless. I didn't have stylists, I had a complete set of girlfriends hanging with me on my wedding day. They are priceless and I still would've paid double. I would get married again just to feel that beautiful. I can't say it enough but thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Lindsay and Angela from Salon 52 are amazing! They were booked when I originally reached out, but that original wedding ended up getting changed, so they proactively reached back out to me just as I was finalizing another option... it was fate! I've used the exact same reference photo when getting hair done as a bridesmaid for the last ~4 years, and not ONCE has it ever turned out as I hoped. Maybe it's because it was bridal hair instead of bridesmaid, but Lindsay perfected it on the first go at my trial! I was super impressed. I had also been a little nervous because my hair is pretty thin at spots, but she worked her magic to make it appear so full and natural (no extensions or anything needed!). They arrived right on time the morning of the wedding, and really helped us stick to our schedule so everyone could get ready and leave when we needed to - very important so we had plenty of time for pictures! Angela did a wonderful job with my makeup, it really felt natural and my eyes popped (loved the lashes!) We did regular makeup at my trial, but she used airbrush on my day-of, which could have thrown me off but I had no reason to be nervous because I knew I was in good hands! The airbrush really stayed put, it was just my own fault it just smudged a bit of makeup off my nose by the end of the night (it was colder than expected for our outdoor ceremony, so I had a bit of a runny nose, combined with some tears/sniffles of emotion!) My mother-in-law originally opted against having her hair done, but changed her mind ~3 weeks before the wedding - they were more than willing to add her in without any issues, which I appreciated last-minute. Thanks again, Lindsay and Angela! Can't wait to share our pictures once we get them back.

I picked this gem of a place for my bridal hair and makeup and I am so happy I did! I called back several times and added hair for my flower girl, then hair and make up for my sister also. They responded quickly and courteously and our hair and makeup were impeccable. It withstood crying, dancing, hugging, drinking, and carrying on until 4am! Where do I begin!? Chelsea and Heather made all of my wedding visions come true! I have never felt more beautiful than I did that day❤ they listened to me and delivered with perfection! You girls set the mood and had me and my girls on cloud 9. Chelsea and Heather were beyond perfection. Chelsea did my hair at my friends wedding last year and I knew I wanted her to do my wedding. I went in with a vague idea of what I wants and Chelsea helped me pinpoint the perfect look. She's a true artist. I have a lot of hair and it always ends up falling before the night it through, but Chelsea's style lasted all day.

I've had my makeup done a few times for weddings and this was by far the best. Heather has a way of making you feel natural and glamorous at the same time. The makeup didn't feel heavy as it has for me in the past with other makeup artists. Best of all, it stayed put. My makeup was done in the morning and lasted until my wedding was over at 1 am.

For anyone who is getting married, I'd recommend Chelsea and Heather 100%. They were the one thing I was sure about when I started planning my wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better team to be with me on the morning of my wedding.

The ladies of Salon 52 are absolutely amazing!!! I have been going to Chelsea for many years now for my hair cutting and styling needs so who else would I have chosen to be the stylist at my wedding?! From my trial to the actual wedding day she was nothing but sweet and accommodating. Not to get too much into her personal life here but on the day of my wedding she had something I would consider pretty important to attend. I thought at first "Oh no! What am I going to do?" We worked it out and she was just going to come a few hours later than planned. Wouldn't you know it this beautiful woman showed up hair styling tools in hand at the original time we had planned just to ensure myself and wedding party looked amazing on my wedding day! She put my feelings and needs before her own and I can not thank her enough for that. She did an amazing job on myself and all my girls. I have to say it was my most perfect day of my life thus far and I am so happy that Chelsea was a part of that. She really is an amazing person! I can not leave out Tara who also did an amazing job on our make-up! She is so fun to be around (they all are really) and did not stop until we all looked perfect! She even gave me some essentials to use after she left to stay looking beautiful all night long! I HIGHLY recommend these beautiful ladies for your wedding! Thanks again ladies! You rock! Xo

Angela did the makeup for my wedding a few weeks ago. She was amazing! She did makeup for 8 ladies, and every single one of them LOVED their look. Chelsea and Angela did an amazing job with the hair and makeup for my wedding. They communicated well during booking and setting up appointments and were sure to verify the number of services with me before their deadline. They took all of my feedback from the trial and did a really beautiful job on my hair and makeup - I received so many compliments and the pictures are really stunning! Everything stayed in place all evening even with lots of dancing. My bridesmaids and mothers also all looked beautiful and Chelsea and Angela were so versatile in their styling to ensure each of us got exactly what we wanted and that everyone's personality was captured. By no fault of their own, they were stuck behind a triathlon on the way to my wedding and so were a bit late, but had no problem getting everyone done in time and had set aside enough time to account for unexpected things. They also brought one other assistant to help with hair which moved the process along. All three of them were very sweet and laidback which made the process comfortable and fun. I would highly recommend them!

I am beyond happy that I hired Salon 52 for both hair and make up for my wedding! Chelsea, Angela, and Sarah are all super talented, professional, fun, down to Earth, and not pushy at all. I was unfamiliar with Salon 52 and hired them based on reviews but once I met them for my trial I knew I was in good hands. They patiently and honestly listened to all of my crazy questions, concerns, and ideas. Myself, my bridal party, and the moms all loved their hair and makeup! My photographer was impressed with their timing, no one felt rushed at all, the entire morning was relaxing and upbeat. I've never felt prettier in my life. I highly recommend Salon 52!

I wish I could give Chelsea and the team from Salon 52 more than 5 stars! My sister in law had used Salon 52 for her wedding day so I was familiar with them when I began looking for my wedding day. From the second I reached out to Salon 52 I knew I wanted to use them for my wedding! They were kind, courteous, and quick in responding to any inquiries I had. I decided to book a trial day with them and I was so glad i did! I brought my mom and my sister with me to the salon on the day of the trial. Chelsea and her team had decorated the door to say Happy Trial Day Brittany and waited on us the whole time! I had such a great time getting to know all the girls during that first day; they were all so fantastic. My hair on the trial day came out perfect and I was looking forward to the big day. I was getting married in the winter and my ceremony was early combine that with a large bridal party and I was nervous we wouldn't have enough time to get ready. Chelsea calmed all of my nervous and the day of went smoothly! Salon 52 showed up bright and early and quickly began getting my 9 bridesmaids, mother in law, and mom ready for the big day. Every single one of the bridesmaids loved their hair and make up! Everyone looked so pretty! I decided the morning of to change up my hair just a little. Chelsea listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond! I am notorious for hating my hair after getting it done almost always! So I was amazed at how much I loved my hair the day of my wedding. Not only was it perfect but i felt that Chelsea had truly listened and given me EXACTLY what i wanted! Salon 52 was so much fun to get ready with which made my wedding morning so fun and relaxing. I felt that they were genuinely excited to get us ready for my wedding instead of just doing their job. If you are still looking for or debating using Salon 52, I HIGHLY recommend them! I highly recommend the company. Chelsea and Sarah were our stylists for my wedding and they did an amazing job! We had our hair done early in the morning because I was doing a first look, and even with a windy day my hair was perfect all through the night. Chelsea and the team were amazing at executing my/my bridal party's hair and makeup on the day of my wedding. We got married in June 2017. Salon 52 was absolutely amazing from start to finish. They made my trial feel super important and spent the time figuring out what was best for me. I can not express how grateful I am for the fabulous service Chelsea and her team provided on my wedding day. We were ahead of schedule by over an hour and this included last minute add-ons. Her flexibility, professional and overall quality of work made by day stress free and i truly enjoyed my wedding morning. PLUS my hair was beautiful. My bridesmaids, mothers and flower girls raved about how easy, flexible and quick Chelsea was all night long. Chelsea, Angela, and Sarah did an AMAZING job getting my bridesmaids and I ready for my wedding in June!! First of all, the ladies of Salon 52 are all so sweet, funny, and easy-going, so they were a pleasure to work with. After my trial, I wanted to change my makeup look just a bit, and Angela was very responsive and understanding of my concerns. On my wedding day, I thought all of my ladies looked beautiful, and everyone was very happy with their hair and makeup. I was also extremely happy with my entire bridal look- everything came together just as I pictured it in my mind! I have been using Salon 52 for 4 years now. It was any easy decision to have them apart of the biggest day of my life. Laura from DKANY Salon, Poughkeepsie, NY did our hair and Angela from Salon 52 did our make up. They were both extremely flexible and great to work with. Every girl (including myself) was extremely pleased and stress-free the entire day. Both worked with us, listening to every detail each girl wanted. I felt the prettiest I have felt in a long time, and ready to take on the biggest day ever. Again, the easiest and BEST decision I made for my wedding day.

I LOVED the gals from Salon 52 PK! At the trial they made sure to try the styles that I was interested in, and provide recommendations for what would work best with my features. On the day of my wedding the girls did the hair and makeup for myself and 9 others, and everyone looked flawless, and better yet they all felt amazing! The girls did an amazing job tailoring their work to the specific styles of the client. They were able to keep excellent track of their pace, while making sure that every detail was done to perfection.

I had requested they use my extensions for my wedding look as I wanted a look that required more hair. Having had used clip in extensions in the past I was wary as some salons are not savvy in making sure they blend in or are securely placed. However, my hair was wonderful and lasted perfectly in place for two days. I have freckles and other members of my party have acne and the girls did an amazing job covering them up in beautiful and natural ways. The airbrushing was perfect and I would certainly do it again.

I would highly recommend these ladies to anyone no matter the occasion !

I found Salon 52 after two wedding hair trials with other vendors went wrong and I am so happy that I did! I had originally scheduled my trial and wedding with Lindsay. When Lindsay found out she was pregnant, she called me and offered to schedule a trial with Chelsea. Both girls are incredibly talented. Chelsea took her time during the trial to figure out exactly what I wanted. The day of the wedding she recreated the trial look to perfection.
Aside from their incredible talent, Chelsea and her team are easy to talk to and take the time to get to know their clients. The day of our wedding it was pouring and they brought a calm, positive vibe and a sense of humor which added to the day! I wholeheartedly recommend Salon 52!

The Studio 52 girls were AMAZING..so so wonderful to work with for my wedding. Chelsea and team were super responsive from before booking through the big day! I went for a trial and learned a lot about what I wanted for the wedding. Heather did our makeup and Lindsay did hair and they both are incredibly talented and flexible! My bridesmaids looked stunning and felt their best. Also telling was the fact that my mother, who is not used to wearing a bunch of makeup, looked amazing and felt very comfortable. I was in love with my bridal hair and makeup. Not only did my makeup stay looking fresh from noon to 1:30 AM - my hair (which loves to slip out of styles) stayed put in a low, side-swept updo through tons of pictures and hours of dancing and enthusiastic hugs from guests. I am so glad I found Studio 52. Hair and makeup can lead to a lot of wedding-day anxiety and instead Heather, Lindsay, and team made me and my girls feel relaxed and listened to. We had so much fun getting ready.

Chelsea and the women at Salon 52 are amazing. I couldn't have asked for more from my hair and makeup artists. We had a day wedding on 9/24/16 plus a first look with photography, which meant a VERY early morning. Chelsea and co. were more than professional throughout the whole morning , and I am so grateful that we were all ready to go by the time our trolley pulled up with plenty of time to spare.

My hair and makeup was perfect - exactly how we had planned it a few months earlier in our test run at the studio in Poughkeepsie. My bridesmaids were all very complimentary and we had a great time in our room before the ceremony.

I would highly recommend Salon 52 for all Hudson Valley weddings!

I want to thank Angela from Salon 52 for the incredible job she did on my makeup for my wedding!! I had been searching for ideas about what I wanted my makeup to look like but couldn't find anything that truly hit me. Angela took the time to ask me questions about what I liked, looked at my inspiration pictures, asked me about what my fiance liked and then worked her magic. I 100% trusted that what she was going to do would be exactly what I was looking for and I was right! Not only did she do my makeup...but she did my entire bridal party including both of the moms. as anyone planning a wedding knows, it is very stressful especially when it comes to planning venues, catererers, etc. The easiest decision for me was choosing Chelsea as my hair stylist. I had been to salon in the past, and seen her work on other brides and I knew her and her team were the only option. Besides being wonderful at her job, she is so sweet, and you can tell her main concern is making sure you feel beautiful on your big day. Chelsea and Tara came to my hotel to get me and 10 others ready and had us all looking beautiful in under 4 hours! I felt so comfortable with her from the beginning, which made it so easy to spend the morning of my wedding with her. If you live any where near the hudson valley and salon 52 is one of your options, I would highly recommend you give her a call!

I had Salon 52 do my hair and makeup along with my bridesmaids for my wedding back in September. They were AMAZING! My hair and makeup came out just as I had pictured it and was able to last through an entire night of dancing with friends and family as well as the 90% humidity that we had that day :) Chelsea and Heather are wonderful. They are super accommodating and very responsive. We were not from the area so a lot of our communication was via email and they were always very quick to get back to me. Not only did they do a great job, but they were just all around fun to be around. We had so much fun getting ready for the wedding! I am so glad that we hired them and I would recommend them to everyone! There is no need to look for another salon in the area, they were fantastic! Book them as soon as you can!

Where do I even begin...Lindsay and Chelsea are two of the most amazing people you will ever meet! Lindsay and Chelsea came to my wedding venue and did my hair and my bridesmaids and the mothers and everyone looked absolutely stunning! They have a friendly, relaxed energy and work together efficiently. I had difficulty relaying the makeup image that I wanted for my wedding day, but Ang and Chelsea worked patiently with me to make sure I was happy with the outcome, which I definitely was! I have been getting my hair done by Chelsea Harris for over 5 years. She is so good at what she does, that I travel 3 hours to get my hair, cut, colored and styled by her. I will not let anyone else touch my hair! So, when I got engaged, I immediately knew Chelsea and her "glam squad" would be doing my hair and makeup for the wedding day! Chelsea is extremely talented at what she does, along with all of the other girls that work in the salon. She can replicate any type of hair-style or up-do you so desire! She not only made myself look absolutely beautiful the day of my wedding but my entire bridal party as well! I received countless compliments on my hair and make-up! I have never felt as beautiful as I did the day of my wedding and I have Chelsea and her sister Heather to thank for! Chelsea and Heather are professional, flexible, accommodating and last but not least, great to work with! On one of the most important days of my life, I did not have to worry about my hair and makeup because I knew I was in good hands with Chelsea and Heather. I would highly recommend them to any future bride. You will truly be a "blushing bride" the day of your wedding if you decide to go with these girls!

Let me just say that Chelsea and Salon 52 were beyond amazing and talented!

I was SO nervous when looking for hair/makeup stylists for my wedding--I am super picky and can be a little difficult since I am used to doing my own hair and makeup. After finding Salon 52 on Instagram, i knew that I had to book a trial along with a few other stylists in the area.

When I got to the salon, I immediately felt so comfortable and welcomed. Within 3 minutes of talking to Chelsea, I knew that she was going to be who I decided to hire for my wedding. She is so talented and knows exactly what she is doing with your hair. More importantly, she wants nothing more than to make you happy on your wedding day.

The morning of my wedding, my girls and I had the best time with Chelsea getting ready and having our hair done. She and her assistant, who was also amazing, got me and my 8 girls ready with plenty of time to spare for pictures etc.! Everyone was so excited and happy with their looks. Don't hesitate in booking with Chelsea and Salon 52!

Chelsea and the girls were an absolute pleasure to work with! They made my wedding day and every day leading up to my wedding completely smooth and relaxing when there was so much stress with all my other wedding planning! Communication with Salon52 was always quick and they did everything in their power to accommodate our schedule and did my girls hair in awesome timing and we finished even earlier than anticipated :) our hair came out STUNNING and my hair and makeup were flawless. Salon52 is 5 stars and they deserve every penny for their amazing talent, hard work, and professionalism. They girls are hilarious and super chill to be around and made us all feel so comfortable the morning of my wedding. I couldn't thank Salon52 enough for making us all look so beautiful!! Stop looking at other hair salons and book them for your wedding :)

I wanted to thank the ladies at Salon 52 for doing an absolute amazing job on my wedding hair and my bridal party's hair on 7/3/16.....it lasted through photos and 4 hours of fun and dancing! I truly cannot thank you ladies enough, for stepping in last minute when my hair stylist dropped; I thought I had no one to do our hair. Your talents shined that day! We all received many many compliments! I will be using Salon 52 services in the future.
