What a Wonderful Day!
It was a pleasure working with Sally Oakley to make our wedding celebration day a seamless event. Sally was so instrumental with connecting with vendors, planning our day, and making our day worry free! We had the pleasure of working with Sally Oakley for our wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. As a Type-A bride with a lot of questions, I appreciated how prompt and thoughtful Sally was in responding to my many emails. Her expertise, organization, and calm presence allowed us to truly enjoy our wedding day without a single worry. If anything went wrong on the day, we certainly didn’t know about it—because Sally took care of everything behind the scenes with grace. Sally’s experience and professionalism were clear from the start, but what really set her apart was how warm and approachable she was. Calm Wedding Day
Thank you for helping our families wedding day be fantastic and one that everyone is still talking about! I am used to being in control but on this day Mandi allowed me to sit back and enjoy my daughter's wedding. Her guidance from the first time we spoke all the way through the evening was exceptional. I appreciated her allowing me to give my opinion but then letting me figure out that I could let go. Mandi has wonderful energy while still exuding a calmness that helped the bride and groom be able to enjoy every moment. Mandi is able to take charge while still being relaxed. Thank you for keeping the schedule on task and creating exactly what the bride and groom wanted, a night on the dance floor with their guests. We had a blast at the wedding because of Sally!!
As a mother of the bride, I would not have enjoyed myself if I did not have Sally. She took over and made sure all went well on a special day. She gave us great advice prior to the wedding—there were so many details I had not considered. But she really was priceless on the wedding day. She kept everyone on schedule, took care of details or any issues, and made the day go smoothly. And what is truly a testament to her skill, even my husband was impressed and would recommend her highly. Even though we got the lowest tiered of her services, she always gave 100 percent.
If you want to enjoy yourself on your child’s wedding day, hire Sally. -

Amazing wedding planner!
I highly recommend booking Sally to help with your wedding planning needs! Sally made me feel comfortable from our first meeting and was very communicative and willing to answer any questions (no matter how silly the question). She is very organized and professional and handled everything on our wedding day so we could truly enjoy our day. -

Incredible Wedding Planner!
We worked with Sally to plan our wedding from start to finish and she was absolutely incredible to work with! Sally's dedication, knowledge, organization, and responsiveness made the whole process for me so easy. She attended all the important vendor meetings, made sure we stayed on the timeline, and helped bring my vision to life. She never missed a detail and I am so incredibly thankful we worked with Sally. She is positive, upbeat, and always has a solution. Fabulous Planner
Sally Oakley planned our daughters wedding in June 2023. She quickly figured out my daughters vison, and helped us make all the necessary vendor contacts (we live in CT but the wedding was in NC). She gave us great advice on all aspects of the wedding, and led all the logistical arrangements. On the wedding weekend she ran the show flawlessly. That allowed all of us to fully enjoy the weekend. Sally is a fun person to work with and the ultimate professional. She is the best event planner we have ever used (we have used many). -

A superhero!
Mandi + Sally Oakley were incredible and helped the wedding go off without a hitch. Mandi dealt with anything that popped up with guests or other vendors quickly, calmly and professionally, and included small details that helped us savor the little moments (like having champagne and appetizers ready for me and my husband so we could take a moment and celebrate with each other before going into the reception). I'd 100% recommend working with her! -

Amazing Day-of-Coordinator
Mandi, with Sally Oakley Weddings & Events, was the day-of-coordinator for our wedding at the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, and we are so thankful for her help and her hard work!
Mandi was super easy to work with, easy to reach, and she was able to answer any question that we had. A couple months before our wedding, she helped us nail down details for how our wedding day would flow, and she created a detailed timeline for our day to keep everyone organized. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Mandi really took everything off of our plate, and she organized all of our vendors. She also ran our rehearsal and made sure everyone knew what to do for our ceremony!
On the day of our wedding, Mandi worked with our venue coordinator at the Inn to oversee set up and make sure everything ran smoothly so that my husband and I could focus on each other and our guests. She was also super calm and professional when we made a last minute switch in ceremony locations due to weather! We were genuinely impressed at how quickly and efficiently everyone was able to pivot!
We loved working with Mandi, and she really made our wedding day so wonderful and memorable. -

We worked with Sally to plan our wedding and she was absolutely terrific! Sally's knowledge, organization, and responsiveness made the planning process as stress free as it could be. She made sure to prioritize all that was important to us, and ensured that everything happened on schedule (e.g., vendor selection, tastings, etc.). On the weekend of the wedding, Sally took care of every little detail which allowed us to enjoy time with our guests to the fullest. Would highly recommend Sally to any and all. -

Beautiful Baby Shower
We had our first grandchild's baby shower at The Umstead with Mandi Degnan, from Sally Oakley, in charge of everything. We know nothing about party planning but did have a few ideas that we weren't quite sure how to plan out but Mandi reassured us that we were in good hands. Her attention to detail was simply amazing! From the directional/seating chart boards, name place cards, picture taking area with balloons and greenery, the flowers were beautiful, the food and service were outstanding, and the entire process was so simple knowing Mandi was in charge. We were beyond thrilled with the way everything turned out!-

The best- look no further
I am beyond thankful for Sally Oakley Planning- in particular with our planner Kathy. We were a postponed wedding from COVID and Kathy made sure to help and comfort us along the process. Kathy is so kind and so knowledgeable. She has worked in multiple services throughout the wedding industry (rentals/ catering/ planning), which made it so helpful for vendor recommendations and relations.
Kathy is extremely quick to respond to emails and really helpful with the knowledge she brings. I was planning the wedding from another state, so she was always willing to do things by zoom/ help me with things that were local.
Kathy was so organized on the day of the wedding! I was really grateful because she only came to ask me two questions the entire day. It made things less stressful and she really just took care of everything.
Kathy is an amazing person and planner, and our day went so smoothly thanks to her! I would highly recommend her! -

Hands down the best investment for our wedding@
We had Kathy as our wedding planner and she TRULY went above and beyond. I cannot imagine having this day without her there through it all. She was a gem to work with from the initial stages of planning, through reviewing contracts and coordinating with vendors- she was phenomenal. If you are deciding between whether or not to hire a planner, or deciding between planners/ coordinators- you cannot go wrong with Sally Oakley Weddings & Events- specifically Kathy. She was a true professional who was clearly respected in the industry and knew it inside and out. Hiring her was the best use of our money for our wedding, and we cannot recommend her enough. As the bride, she made my wedding day easy and there was never a time I was wondering what I needed to do, or where I needed to be. The best decision we could have made! -

Kathy was fabulous to work with!! Imagine your dream wedding without all the stress and that's what you'll get with Kathy! She is very attentive, experienced in the industry, and fun to work with! We live out of state so needless to say we were worried about planning from afar. I expected to feel very stressed but I never really did which I fully attribute to Kathy. I could relax the whole time knowing that she was keeping everything on track and had it handled. She made our wedding vision come to a reality and I cannot tell you how many compliments we received from our guests! We are forever grateful and cannot recommend her enough!! -

Sally was absolutely incredible from the first moment we booked her! Although we only booked her for the day of planning services, she offered her advice and guidance throughout our planning process. She met with me and my venue coordinator several times, and managed the coordination and communication with vendors. Sally had a calming and confident presence throughout our wedding weekend, which settled any of my nerves. She seemed to be everywhere all the time, and resolved any problems before I was even aware of them. I would recommend Sally (or any of team) to anyone looking for planning services! She was by far my best and most helpful vendor. -

Can’t say enough good things!
I used Sally and her team as my day-of coordinator and couldn’t have been in better hands! Sally was so supportive, helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process whenever I had a question, but I could not have done my wedding day without her! It’s so nice to have the peace of mind that she is following up with all of the vendors and making sure everything and everyone is on time and that I didn’t have to focus or spend time doing that on my wedding day. She was super helpful with providing the timeline for my wedding day and helping me figure out when vendors needed to arrive, when we needed to be dressed, when photos needed to begin, etc. Her experience and expertise is so evident and she was always such a calming presence. As a wedding planner myself, I knew Sally was the perfect planner for our big day!

My New Best Friend
I thought I was such an organized person that I didn’t need a wedding planner or day of coordinator. I could not have been more wrong! Due to Covid, our original plan of 100-120 guests was downsized to 10 people. The week of the wedding, my brother and his family got Covid and we had to cancel.
As we contacted all of our vendors, we were so worried that our family would get very sick. Kathy took the time to call and check on how we were doing - emotionally - and assured us that she’d be there when the time was right. We rescheduled, and as luck would have it, a family member was gravely ill and we had to cancel again, this time two weeks before our second wedding date.
We finally made it down the aisle in March of 2022 with 70 guests and Kathy was beyond amazing. She kept a sense of humor about all of our crazy changes and she never hesitated to help and always gave suggestions when I asked. Kathy was able to think of details we never would have thought of, and the day of our wedding went off without a hitch, or so we thought. Kathy and Amanda did such a phenomenal job the day of our wedding that we didn’t even know that one of our guests had a severe allergic reaction during the reception.
I had texted Kathy the day after the wedding to thank her for everything and she asked if we could talk. I got so worried that someone was rude to her, but she assured me she was okay and told me about my friend getting sick. I had no idea because those that knew swore to keep it a secret so I wouldn’t get worried and potentially leave my reception to help her. Kathy took the time to drive my friend to her hotel and made the hotel check on her throughout the night. That kind of thing is not written in a contract; she is just a good soul who went out of her way to help someone. Although the wedding was better than we could have ever imagined, I’m sad it’s over because I don’t have my chats with Kathy anymore. She is pure professionalism and grace and she has the absolute perfect personality to handle anyone’s nerves or anxiety.
Do yourself a favor and contact Sally Oakley Wedding and Events. It is worth every single penny. You’ll sleep better, knowing they have your back. -

Couldn't have done it without them!
We had the best experience working with Sally Oakley! From the beginning, they looked over vendor contracts and offered recommendations when asked. We met with Mandi a month or so before the wedding to go over details and I remember feeling so much more at ease knowing that she was on our team and would be handling a lot of contact with vendors moving forward. She created a timeline for us and gathered all information that we could possibly need. As a type A person I absolutely loved it. The day of the wedding she was at the venue working with vendors who were dropping everything off and made sure it was all running smoothly. I couldn't have asked for a more cheerful, calming, and organized coordinator. We love Mandi and are so glad we ended up working with Sally Oakley. -

Amazing work!
Sally did an exceptional job helping us plan for our wedding. The week of the event, I was not feeling overwhelmed because Sally handled all of the leadup and timelining communications with our vendors. One of my best decisions
Sally was a life saver for this mother of the bride and I highly recommend her. She kept us organized every step of the way and helped me focus on the important things while assuring me that some of the things I was stressing about would take care of themselves. She knows all the area venues and vendors. If something goes wrong she knows how to respond. She coordinates everything down to smallest details. We were in very good hands with Sally. -

Our coordinator Mandi was incredible to work with! She was available anytime, day or night, by phone or text to answer my questions or help me adjust to changes as they came. She was also willing to attend any and all vendor appointments with me, and had excellent advice and recommendations on how to make the day personal for me, my fiance, and our families. Sally Oakley is perfection. She has an impeccable, professional relationship with all her vendors which is invaluable to the bride, groom and families. Every issue that arose was handled by her with ease leaving all feeling relieved not frustrated. My daughter and I actually missed our conversations and other communications with Sally after the wedding. Both my daughter and myself were out of state and we absolutely could not have done this without Sally steering all things. My daughter had the wedding she wanted but Sally made it all possible. We worked with Kathy Swope and she is amazing. Super attentive and professional. She made this day so amazing so that we could focus on the wedding not the logistics. My only note for the future is that the to go dinner for the bride and groom did not get into the exit car and unfortunately did not make it to the hotel. Other than that, everything was perfect! Absolutely Worth It!
I can't say enough positive things about Sally Oakley Weddings & Events! Although my husband and I only booked day-of coordination, we got so much more than that. I'm admittedly particular about how I want things done and I was not let down by the service.
I worked with Kathy Swope for almost two years due to a pandemic postponement. She always made herself available to answer questions by phone or email and helped with so many aspects of wedding planning that I was oblivious to. Kathy would also check in with me periodically just to make sure there was nothing I needed from her. Cut to our wedding day - Kathy was the MVP. Apparently there were a few hiccups leading up to the ceremony but Kathy made sure I was none the wiser. She made sure everything was handled and in order before our ceremony began and made sure we stayed on schedule the entire evening. Kathy could not have been more helpful from the day we signed our contract to the moment we walked out of our venue. Thanks to Kathy, I was able to enjoy my wedding and did not have to think about a single detail the entire day! -

HIGHLY Recommend Sally As A Wedding Planner!
I can't say enough good things about Sally! Our wedding was originally scheduled for April 2020 until the COVID-19 pandemic hit and all of our plans had to change. She helped us navigate postponing our wedding and then helped us replan a small celebration a few months later, which turned out to be perfect. Not only is Sally extremely organized, but she is very communicative and responsive which I really appreciated during such a stressful time. Her years of experience in the wedding industry is so evident, and she made us feel so much more at ease on our big day. All we had to do was sit back and soak it all in while she handled all the details and logistics. Beyond that, she is such a sweet person and is extremely easy to work with. Hiring Sally was the best decision we could have made for our wedding planning process. We had Sally as our month-of wedding planner and was such a relief to have her when the wedding rolled around. It was such a joy that neither of our mothers were running around the day of the wedding, they got to sit back relax and enjoy the day. Which by the way, the day went absolutely flawlessly!!! Sally is truly amazing!
We got married at the Carolina Inn in June and they introduced me to Sally and her team. I met Sally fairly early in the planning process and in one minute I immediately felt her warmth and kindness and knowledge and felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. As we led up to the day itself, Sally always reached out at the perfect time and I knew that all of the fine details were going to be taken care of. She's so organized and has a soothing way about her that makes you feel like everything is going to be okay. As simple as that sounds, it's so important when it comes to your (my!) own wedding! Our rehearsal was handled perfectly and I went to sleep at night with a sense of peace, just not worried about the big day.
On the day of, everyone involved in the wedding knew where they had to be and when and Sally and her team somehow made it so easy and fun! I didn't receive one text or phone call from a vendor asking where they needed to be or when. I almost feel guilty because I feel like I didn't do anything. When it was my time to head towards my groom, Sally personally got me from my room while her team corralled everyone else, and as I mentioned, there was something so soothing about having her walk with me towards the aisle. I think a lot of brides don't even realize how nervous they are, but a lot of that went away just by having her there by my side.
One more thing to add - I will always appreciate what might seem like the littler things but something took another level of stress away... wedding gifts, my veil, guest book, change of shoes, cake stand, etc. miraculously disappeared towards the end of the night and were placed as promised in my room. It was amazing, and such a personal touch.
Thank you Sally and team for making our day so special and unbelievably seamless. We don't know how you did it, and Rob and I are forever grateful.-

We hired Sally as our day of coordinator primarily because our venue required us to have one. That being said, I’d hire her again and again. She was fantastic and took all the stress out of the wedding week. Even though we only hired her for her coordinator services, she really went above and beyond to help us throughout the planning process as well, answering any questions I had and even reaching out to vendors for me well before day-of. She kept me calm on the wedding day and checked in regularly to make sure I knew what to do next. Kathy worked with us and was absolutely wonderful. She was patient, kind and reassuring. She made the process much less stressful. She was always quick to respond to my emails and there were plenty. Do yourself a favor a hire Kathy!
Kathy was our day-of coordinator from Sally Oakley - but honestly she was so much more than that! Right away we felt completely comfortable with Kathy and much more at ease about the planning process. The first (of many) great things about Kathy, was that she still booked us a year out from our wedding even for day-of services. Other planners we spoke with said they would only book coordination clients 3-6 months out from the wedding date in order to remain available to potential full service clients. Even though we initially hired Kathy for coordination services, we ultimately added additional services where we felt we needed the most help. Kathy helped us with budgeting, floor plans, picking out linens and table settings, and was a GREAT resource for referrals! We're both young professionals and Kathy always made herself available around our schedule and really helped to make the planning process as stress free as possible. When it came to the wedding day, Kathy's organization and calm presence really allowed us to focus on enjoying the day with our friends and family rather than worry about how everything was getting set up or running. Even the bridal party was complimenting us on how awesome Kathy was! The next day, when we realized that the officiant didn't signed our marriage license, Kathy came to our house, picked it up, and drove to the next city over to the officiant's church so that we wouldn't have to worry about it as we packed and left for our honeymoon. Truly some of the best money we spent on our wedding! Thank you, Kathy!! -

The best in Raleigh area
Sally is wonderful at what she does and I am positive that my wedding would not have been nearly as stress-free and beautiful without her. Although there were a few hiccups on the day of, she adapted and made things so perfect that I didn't even notice. In fact, some of her last minute changes may have been more beautiful than what I had planned myself. We did a lot of DIY elements, and she was super flexible about these and with helping clear then out of the venue afterwards. On the day of, she was expertly behind the scenes making things run smoothly, but was amazing at staying out of the way. She is so friendly, so talented, and so organized. The best money I spent was hiring her! -

Kathy is the BEST!
We worked with Kathy Swope of Sally Oakley for our wedding on November 17th and were absolutely amazed with her knowledge, calm demeanor, and her abilities. We absolutely LOVED working with Kathy over the past six months. She is incredibly prompt with responses and has an amazing network of contacts for all of your possible wedding needs. The Smoak/McCall Wedding
Working with Sally & her team was absolutely amazing. She took care of contacting & coordinating with all the vendors which was a huge weight off our shoulders. She was always flexible and available to answer even the smallest and I'm sure tedious questions. She didn't ever show any worries or concerns about anything and was definitely honest when we needed her opinion. She was never over bearing and didn't take over the event but more supported it. From the response time, organization, timelines, coordination, etc. there's definitely a reason everyone told me she was the best and it was true she couldn't have been more perfect! Our big day went off without a hitch and we credit a huge portion of that to Salley! -

Wonderful planner
Kathy Swope was our day-of planner for our wedding. She did an excellent job at every step of the way. Kathy is kind, patient, and so easy to work with. As we were going through the planning process, she was quick to respond to emails, attentive to details, and always organized. What was more, she helped coordinate a last-minute change of reception venue in the midst of a hurricane coming to our area. We were so appreciative of all her help to help our vendors and officiants shift gears. She was instrumental to helping make our wedding a beautiful, special day. -

Sally was wonderful to work with both leading up to and on the day of our wedding! I loved that she had done a lot of weddings at my venue before and therefore knew the space and options really well. I also appreciated how she respected that I had a pretty specific vision of what I wanted from the beginning but was there along the way to recommend vendors that I was still deciding on, to "gut check" various proposals, and to keep me on-schedule with my planning. She was consistently pleasant to be around, helpful, and responsive to my numerous questions via email. I would absolutely recommend her! -

For starters, she recommended a line up of top-notch vendors who allowed our wedding day to go seamlessly. She helped calm my nerves when I was fretting and prompted me to think about key details well in advance, which made everything to come together without last-minute stress or drama. Sally and her team went above and beyond for my wedding!! I first contacted Sally in a panic, as I hired another Raleigh wedding planner for the first 4 months of my engagement. The previous wedding planner took my deposit and disconnected her phone. Needless to say, Sally swooped in and saved the day. She called me back within the hour of my panicked phone call and booked our wedding.
Sally made my childhood dreams come true. I always wanted to get married at my childhood home/ farm. My father, who was initially skeptical of ANY wedding planner, was beyond delighted with Sally and her team. In his words, “Sally earned and is worth EVERY penny.”
Sally not only stayed in close contact with me, but with my groom, vendors, and bridesmaids. My husband and I were over the moon with how beautiful our wedding day was, as well as how much Sally did in preparation for our wedding.-

We chose Sally as our wedding coordinator after several people said she was the best wedding coordinator in North Carolina. They were not wrong! Sally is an extremely professional wedding planner that helped us for MONTHS even though we had signed up for her 'Day Of' package. She answered all of our questions, reached out to all of our vendors, and worked with them on our timeline. Many of our vendors told us they had preferred Sally as coordinator as well. I highly recommend Kathy from Sally Oakley events. She provided day-of services for my daughter's wedding, but oh so much more. She was quick to respond to all of our e-mails for advice throughout the wedding planning process. She provided great recommendations about things that are worthwhile and things that are just not necessary. The bride was reluctant to do a Sparkler Exit and Kathy convinced her it would be worth doing. Kathy choreographed the Sparkler exit, it went flawlessly and we got some fantastic pictures from it. The best part was the day of the wedding we did not worry about a thing. We just enjoyed every minute of the reception and all the wedding guests. Kathy was invisible, yet she took care of everything. She recommended that the bridal party arrive 30 mins before the reception for drinks and appetizers and just to relax in the beautifully decorated venue. What a great suggestion that was! Everything went smoothly for a simply magical night. -

We hired Sally as a day of coordinator for our October 2017 wedding. She gave us great suggestions for vendors and helped to make the planning process seamless. The timeline meeting was incredibly helpful and really put our minds at ease. It rained the day of our wedding and we had to make a last minute decision to bring the ceremony inside. Sally made this a stress-free and easy decision. In addition is an extremely warm and lovely person and we loved working with her. I worked with Kathy White Swope, one of the lead planners, and she was absolutely amazing! From the moment I sat down with her for our initial meeting to the very end of my wedding day, she provided me with everything I needed for my day to be successful, and for my stress levels to drop tremendously! She gave me excellent advice when I wasn't sure which linens to go with, she set me up with an amazing florist, and she was awesome about making sure all vendors arrived when and where they were supposed to! She gave me (and the bridal party) excellent direction during the rehearsal, and throughout the entire wedding day, and she created an impeccable timeline to make sure the day ran smoothly. Hands down the best wedding planning decision we made was having Sally and Victoria for our month-of wedding planners. Leading up to the big day they gave us wonderful vendor recommendations, saved us from unnecessary expenses with planning tips, and gave invaluable advice on herding 100 people throughout the weekend. At our big pre-wedding meeting they helped us go from "oh my goodness how will this ever go smoothly?1" to "I am so excited for this amazing event!" and made the last few weeks before the wedding a happy time instead of a stressful race. And when the actually wedding arrived, they made it go off like clockwork without my husband and I ever having to worry about a thing. Victoria was with us at the rehearsal and the wedding and she went above and beyond several times, finding my parents who were lost on the way to the rehearsal, tracking down a laptop left at the rehearsal dinner, and working with Sally to ensure that the baker got all of her materials back after the wedding when my husband and I had left town and our venue contact went MIA. Truly an amazing team and the nicest people to boot. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to actually enjoy their own wedding! -

Kathy was our day of coordinator for our wedding on Saturday, 9/9/17. Kathy was truly a pleasure to work with! We loved every interaction with her! Her passion for weddings and working with us was evident from the moment we met her. She was incredibly helpful during planning--to our wedding day. Words can't describe how thankful we are to have worked with her. She made our dream wedding a reality. ❤️ It was absolutely amazing!
She and her assistant, Cassie did an awesome job ensuring everything was perfect on the big day!! Wow!! Dream team!

We were fortunate enough to have Sally herself as our planner, though I'm sure the rest of her team is just as lovely. The package we chose was for month-of coordination and some design planning services, which was very much needed since we live across the country and were unable to be around much leading up to the wedding. We were in excellent hands though with Sally and our wedding proceeded without a hitch. We chose her because we felt like she had the perfect type-A personality to keep all our vendors organized and manage our own expectations, all with smile and sense of professionalism. And that is exactly what she accomplished! Sally was phenomenal and I wound recommend her to another bride in a heartbeat. Thank you for helping make our day so wonderful! -

Sally was our wedding planner for almost a year and I HIGHLY recommend her services. She listened to our ideas and made them happen in a way that surpassed any dream we had ever had about how we wanted our big day to play out. She is creative and knows exactly which vendors to line up to meet your needs and wans. She is very detail oriented and on our day-of kept everything smoothly on track. From hair and makeup to food to cake to music to photography to décor to helping us plan the ceremony to end-of-the-evening sparklers, Sally got it all done perfectly. We still have guests tell us how wonderful, fun and creative they found our whole event and that is in large part to Sally's hard work. We could not have done it without her and I assure you that even if you think you can, hiring Sally will only make your special day all that more amazing and stress free! -

I highly recommend Sally Oakley and her team to coordinate your wedding! Sally and Kelsey worked on my daughter's wedding. Megan's wedding was May 27, 2017 at Prestonwood Country Club. They truly took care of everything! The day was perfect! It was everything Megan dreamed it would be. -

Kathy Swope was such a key to making my wedding day so perfect - she was attentive, proactive, thorough, and empathetic. I can't imagine a better wedding planner. From the get-go she had a plan to note all of our wishes, and then worked to carry them out; she offered her availability by mail/phone/person. She went above and beyond during the wedding day by keeping all the separate moving parts cohesive and running smoothly. Most importantly, she was just SO NICE and genuinely cared about the day and the wedding - she even helped pass out wedding favors at the end, and worked with the photographers in helping set up certain shots. I am absolutely certain I could NOT have had such a wonderful wedding with Kathy being there every step along the way. THANK YOU SO MUCH KATHY!!! -

Working with Sally and her team was one of the best decisions/expenditures of our wedding. We did a lot of planning ourselves, and had help from the Duke Chapel coordinator, but even still, Sally, Victoria, and Kelsey were indispensable in helping us plan from out of town. Although we decided to hire a "same-day" coordinator, rather than full planning services, Sally always made us feel like we were a top priority - responding to questions, emails and phone calls incredibly quickly. She provided thoughtful and budget-conscious suggestions and helped out when we were having trouble with non-responsive vendors. And her suggestion for renting a box at the Durham Bulls game for the rehearsal dinner was a huge hit - and totally fit us as a couple. Victoria's and Kelsey's help the night of was invaluable - and unobtrusive. We could tell that they did a lot behind the scenes allowing us to enjoy the evening without worrying about all the minor details. We've since been to two weddings since our own (all in one month!) and at each, when something went wrong, Andrew would say "They should have hired A Victoria." Or "They really needed A Victoria to help with that." or "If they'd had A Victoria, that wouldn't have happened." We cannot thank you enough for all of your help, advice, and support. -
