  Simply the Best

  Sabin and Melissa were the photographers at my best friend's wedding and my then fiance and I immediately knew they would be the only people we would ever hire for our own wedding. In addition to being the sweetest people you will ever meet they go above and beyond to make sure they get the best shots. They make the whole process relaxed and fun and have an eye for the most stunning photos. Hire them immediately! You will have the best wedding pictures ever taken. Honestly, the worst part about our wedding being over is we don't get to see Sabin and Melissa anymore!

  The absolute best!

  Sabin and Melissa are absolutely amazing! From the first time we talked, we knew we were going to have a great experience. They put both of us at ease from the very first picture (we were so nervous!) and were able to truly capture the best moments. Everyone raves about how beautiful all of our pictures are - each is an absolute work of art! I truly cherish each photo and can't thank them enough for their talent. In looking through the photos to attach to this review, I could have used them all - only putting a few was very difficult. Thank you!!!

  Phenomenal Photographers

  Photography - Sabin Gratz
  I don't even know where to begin, Sabin and his wife Melissa are phenomenal. We not only had them shoot our wedding day, but also our engagement photos. From initial contact, I knew Sabin was the photographer I wanted. He always had great communication and took time to explain the process of how everything works and gave so many ideas and went above and beyond to provide his service. We went to Vermont for our engagement shoot on a very, very cold winter day which didn't stop Sabin from laying and crawling around on the ground to get the perfect photos. And let me tell you, it was COLD, he must have been frozen! But he was professional and enthusiastic the entire time. He and Melissa were amazing to work with and made us feel so comfortable in an awkward situation as my husband and I don't often stand around to get our pictures taken!! Melissa was also a great dog caretaker when we left our dogs in the car for some solo shots!
  Fast forward to our wedding day, Sabin sent a detailed schedule of how to accomplish everything we wanted photographed - getting ready, venue, first look, bridal party photos, family photos, couple portraits, etc… For someone like me, who loves to have a plan in order, I was super relieved to see the schedule, but he also assured me we did not need to stick to the schedule and could roll with the punches if need be...which also made me relieved.
  My guests also raved about them the next day - they were always there to capture the moment, but never in the way. Sabin and Melissa are both extremely personable and charismatic and somehow managed the perfect amount of interactions with our guests making everyone comfortable and pleased to be around them. They fit in just perfectly. Sabin & Melissa also set up the best picture I never knew I wanted...our wedding rings with gummy bears - my husband's absolute favorite candy (and kind of an obsession) and other candy from our candy buffet. It is an extraordinary picture that really gives such a personal touch to who my husband and I are with a nod to our celebration.
  I cannot wait to see the wedding day photos as our engagement photos were incredible, I know these will be as well. I HIGHLY recommend Sabin and Melissa as photographers for any event you may have. They're wonderful. ♥️

  Great Experience and Wonderful Photos!

  We hired Sabin for our wedding last May and I was extremely happy with our experience and the results. My husband and I spoke with several photographers and we knew we wanted to go with Sabin immediately after speaking on the phone. What I appreciated most was his perfect balance of very professional and very personable.
  
  Sabin and his wife, Melissa, worked our wedding and I was amazed at their energy and how they worked tirelessly to get the best shots. We also appreciated how they both had vision for the moments/scenes to capture but also made sure to get any group shots or any photos that we wanted. They have great attention to detail and clearly have a lot of experience with making the photography part of the wedding run smoothly. They are also not intrusive, even when it came to more private moments.
  
  Sabin feels strongly about meeting the couples beforehand - in this case we met twice - and I think it made all the difference with how comfortable we felt day-of. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting with Sabin and Melissa; not only are they great photographers but they are kind and lovely people. And of course - the photos are terrific! We have a beautiful portfolio of varied shots from our wedding day and memories that we will cherish forever.

  Second time working with Sabin, Always perfect!

  We met Sabin 2 years ago at my sister's wedding and couldn't get over how fun and unobtrusive he and his team was. But once we got the photos back, we knew we had to work with Sabin for our own nuptials as they were the most stunning wedding pictures we had ever seen.
  
  Sabin, Melissa, and Ben were so fun and easy to work with. Sabin made sure to really understand the types of photos we wanted, and even came to Brooklyn a few days early to walk through the Botanic Garden with us and see what was in bloom to plan our shots.
  
  So many of our bridal party members told us how much they loved the photography team. I know as we have other future celebrations, we will always look to Sabin and Melissa to see if there is another chance to work with them.

  Great experience with Sabin Gratz Photography

  We absolutely love our wedding photos and could not be happier with our experience. Sabin and Melissa took the time to get to know us, what wanted, and the oh so crucial the timing of those photos within our wedding day itinerary. Their suggestions and guidance really allowed for our wedding memories to be captured perfectly. It rained on our wedding day, but that wasn't a problem for this group. They came well prepared with elegant white umbrella's which kept us dry while outside and made for some of the best photo's of all. We trusted them every step of the way, and they delivered 10x our expectations. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying later than scheduled to capture some last minute special moments at our reception. Start to finish we were so happy we chose this photographer! Thank you Sabin, Melissa, and Ben

  OK, Sabin, Melissa, and Emily KILLED it with their photos - the best compliment I can give them is they are making it impossible for us to shortlist which ones to frame because Sabin has such a knack for capturing the right moment and the human spirit.
  
  Full disclosure - my husband and I hate LOVE photography but do NOT like being the subjects in front of the camera. Sabin and Melissa did such a wonderful job capturing us, our crazy Indian families, Vermont and our Indian wedding in such an authentic way. Looking back at the photos is really helping us relive every moment of laughter, tears, and pure joy! You can find lots of photographers who are talented, professional, and at a great value - but Sabin did such an amazing job really capturing US and who we are. From day one - where I think we spent over an hour on the phone just chatting, to our pre-wedding chat so he could get to know us as a couple, to him capturing us in the fields of Vermont for a brief escape from the craziness of our wedding day - they were amazing. They were so kind, helpful, down to earth - that Melissa even offered me her own shoes while my feet were aching from a day in heels! So kind, so great - and don't underestimate the value of multiple photographers - allowed for angles, candid moments of our guests, that are simply priceless! :)

  Sabin has been fantastic to work with so far - we fell in love with his photography style, and met with him and Melissa. They're both very personable and fun, in addition to being professional, which is incredibly important to me since they'll be around for the entire wedding. Thankfully, they've been very accommodating and flexible as far as scheduling goes.

  Sabin Gratz is a photographer who probably doesn't need this review because his photographs speak for themselves. When looking into several different photography options, his photos so clearly stood out from the others--aside from just catching beautiful details and candids, the photos just had this extra ethereal, glowing quality. At the event, I hardly noticed him and his team (2 other photographers, one of whom is his wife) but they captured everything. For the wedding party and family photos, he was efficient, put everyone at ease, and made everybody laugh (which made for better photos). We received our photos in a very easy-to-use, beautiful online gallery. Booking Sabin for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made!

  Not sure my words can do any justice to the positive experience we had working with Sabin and Melissa. We were planning our Vermont wedding from afar and with that, comes the need to really get to know and trust your "vendors" (I have a hard time using that word because they are more like friends to me now, honestly). Sabin and Melissa were so interested in getting to know me and my fiance and working with us every step of the way to understand our vision for the day, our hopes and wishes and our dynamics (between us as a couple, our families, our wedding party, etc.). They wanted to meet with us face to face each time we made a trip to VT so that they could really get to know us & learn what we're all about. Sabin explained that the bride and groom actually end up spending probably the most time with their photographers on the big day compared to anyone else and because of that, it's so important to feel comfortable around them. I cannot stress enough how true & vital this is.
  I could go on and on about my experience them, but the last thing I will highlight is their approach to how to handle a rainy wedding day. No one wants rain on their wedding day and despite the fact that Vermont had one of the most beautiful summers I'd seen in a long time, we definitely got rain and lots of it. Sabin was SO communicative leading up to that day, talking through our options and our approach and most importantly, assuring me that we would be okay no matter what. When you get to know and trust someone as well as we did leading up to the wedding day, when your photographer tells you that everything will be okay no matter what, just listen and trust them. Sabin and Melissa seriously made me at ease and I did not doubt them even 1% that the photos would turn out beautifully and ALL the crazy logistics that go with planning around rain would work out okay.
  You are in the best hands ever. Just trust the process and let them do the work. They are true professionals!!!!!

He and his team went above and beyond in so many ways, it is genuinely difficult to put into words. They were always accessible for consultation via phone, met with us when we were in Vermont, and went out of their way to meet us at the venue to have an informal walk through to make sure all of our needs would be met on our wedding day.   Wow! What can we say...Sabin and his team were incredible. They started out a year in advance getting to know us and making sure they understood the vision we had for our wedding. They are super friendly, funny, and kind. On the wedding day, they were super professional and amazing with all of the guests (and our dog.) I knew while they were taking the photos that they were going to be amazing, and when we got our gallery, we were even more blown away. They captured our special day PERFECTLY. Not only were the pictures the tone we wanted, but they were technically impeccable. These photos are something that we will cherish forever. We would recommend Sabin's services time and time again.

  Sabin, Melissa, and their assistant did the photography for our wedding this past May. Through the planning process, Sabin was super organized and even created a photography schedule to give to our families and wedding party. His advanced planning made it so that our very busy wedding day was relatively stress-free. When my bridesmaids and I walked into the room after hair and makeup on the big day, Sabin and Melissa had transformed a boring, poorly lit room into a beautiful naturally lit space, all with slight adjustments of the window shudders. From that moment, I knew we were in good hands.
  
  Sabin and Melissa worked efficiently and made our families and wedding parties feel very comfortable during the more ‘staged’ group shots. Later, Sabin and Melissa took my husband and I to a farm with breathtaking views to photograph the two of us. After a long day, their energy and enthusiasm for what they were doing helped capture those perfect shots. Similarly, during the ceremony and the reception, they were very present without being intrusive in any way.
  
  We recently received our photos from the wedding, and every shot is beautiful. We are so excited to share them with friends and to order an album. Sabin and Melissa make a great team and we would definitely recommend their services!

He fit right in with my family and friends, and everyone felt he wasn't overbearing or annoying. He gave us the right amount of direction while still making us feel completely at ease. There were 3 shooters at my wedding, and I really feel there was a perfect amount of coverage without getting in the way of anything. I would HIGHLY recommend using Sabin for your wedding!
