I couldn’t put into words how wonderful Steve was in writing our vows, working with our budget and just his receptivity to everything we pictured for our wedding ceremony. Every detail was exactly as we pictured it…if not more. He was kind and even went to the store the DAY OF and bought something that I had forgotten for the ceremony and brought it with him and then travelled 3 hours to make it to us. Highly recommend. -

Steven was an amazing man to work with for our wedding. He tailored everything from start to finish perfectly to make our wedding feel just like 'us'. Even though we aren't religious, he still made the wedding magical, with a touch of humor and history of the land we were married on. Steven is great with communication and was very helpful with working within our smaller budget. Thank you so much for your time and professionalism! You made our special day more special than it ever could have been. -

Such a beautiful human!
Steven both officiated and was the day-of coordinator for our wedding. He was kind, helpful, and open to all suggestions we made. He paid attention to detail and really made our wedding day easy. We highly recommend him! -

Outstanding custom officiation and day of coordination. Steven and Brittney were so lovely and an absolute godsend when things went wrong at my venue. They handled the crisis and kept the event rolling, I didn't even know until after the wedding. Incredible. -

Wedding Planner
Steven helped us from the initial planning stages to last minute game time decisions before the ceremony. We were married during the height of COVID restrictions and decided to get married in our backyard with only immediate family in attendance. (The remainder of our guests attended via zoom.) Well the morning of our wedding it began to rain and with less than an hour to go, I decided our entire ceremony needed to be indoors. Without missing a beat, he went right to action. Our entire living room was transformed and the lighting was amazing. With our limited flowers and decorations plus creatively rearranging our furniture, our guests didn’t even realize that was our setting. He was responsible for our music and recording the wedding in addition to handling the Livestream. Steven incorporated two cameras to capture some truly beautiful moments. We have that entire day captured in a video that we will cherish forever. He was so dedicated to helping create an experience tailored for us. There was no pressure to conform to rules or traditions that weren’t our style. We trust him and know that couldn’t have done this without him! -

Perfect, friendly, easy to work with
Steven, our officiant, was available via phone, email, and in person. Steven offered us a custom ceremony and helped us add in parts that represented "us". Steven and Jessica helped create a beautiful wedding march to our processional song, which they timed perfectly. On our wedding day we knew exactly what to do because Steven and Jessica had set everything up and practiced with us the night before. Our wedding went so smoothly - with perfect sound, light, food, service, and people. Steven even performed a special champagne toast with sabering of the champagne bottle! Our guests had nothing but wonderful remarks as well. As if our rehearsal dinner and wedding day weren't perfect enough, the next day we opened all of our cards and gifts and Steven’s staff had slipped in a card with their well wishes (needless to say I cried). I would highly recommend S.J.York Productions to anybody looking for a perfect wedding with friendly, easy to work with staff. Also, if you are looking for an officiant, I would recommend Steven as he is professional, well spoken, well dressed, and is willing to work with whatever your views and wishes are. THANK YOU!
