Top notch professional!
Sharon was phenomenal to work with! She asked a lot of questions and invited a lot of feedback. She took all the feedback from the consultation and created the perfect look for me, a person who doesn't normally wear makeup. -

Nothing but Amazing!
As soon as I met Sharon, I knew that I would enjoy having her as my MUA at my wedding. I was able to use her for our Engagement Session first, and she did an outstanding job. My makeup was flawless, and everyone loved seeing me all dolled up for my engagement photoshoot. The month of my wedding, I did a trial with Sharon to figure out what I wanted for my big day, and Sharon was great at listening to my request and vision. On the day of my wedding, Sharon worked so hard to make sure that my makeup and my Maid of Honor looked fabulous. She made me feel so comfortable on the day of my wedding while in the Bridal Suite. We looked beautiful and received nothing but compliments. I am so glad she was able to stay after our ceremony for touchups which I genuinely needed since I cried so hard during my vows! She is very professional, a master at makeup and she has such a loving spirit! I will undoubtedly be using Sharon for all of my professional makeup needs going forward. -

I can't say enough about Sharon. I asked for bold eyes, neutral lips and Kardashian-level contours, and she delivered! She answered all my questions and made me feel beyond comfortable! OMG! Not sure where to start! Sharon is simply the best! From the moment we met at my trial for my wedding, we hit it off. For me, having good energy and vibes is soooo important. She was very professional and so very talented. She listened and executed to perfection. The day of the wedding, she was on time and ready and waiting for me and my matron of honor. We laughed and giggled and honestly it felt like she was one of my very best friends.
Sharon is a talented artist.... she will not disappoint. Her reputation is A1 and it’s well deserved. -

As a bride-to-be from the Washington D.C. area searching for a bridal makeup artist (MUA) in the Triangle area, one could imagine my level of anxiety to find the right MUA. My first encounter with Sharon was for my engagement photos! I was so impressed with the level and quality of service that I actually switched MUA vendors and booked Sharon for my wedding too. Best decision ever! Sharon and her assistant, Sammy Jo provided MUA services to my entire bridal party and mother-in-law for a total of 7 ladies. She was prompt, professional, and most of all confident! She even rushed to Duke Gardens on a 90+ degree day and freshened me up before my first look! Talk about over the top service!! She created a stunning bridal look for my girls and I and everyone was flawless! My only regret is that she doesn't live closer to me but she's definitely my MUA whenever I'm in the Triangle area. -

Without question Sharon will be my forever MUA of choice whenever I'm in NC! I've had several appointments with her and she never disappoints. She's easy to work with and educates you on what's she's doing or how to achieve the look. I always receive great comments on my makeup and I'm quick to say SHARON did it! She is hands down the BEST and without hesitation I would always recommend her. By now she's more like a friend and she already knows I'm coming to her next year for NCCU's homecoming! -

Sharon did my makeup for both my bridal portraits and my wedding and she is absolutely incredible! My makeup stayed on so well, especially throughout the wedding day. Not only does she do an amazing job, but she is such a joy to be around and so funny! It meant so much she was able to come to my house the day of the wedding and do my makeup (and it was one less place I had to go that day). First of all Sharon is such a sweet, kind and professional person. She is extremely talented at makeup artistry and was able to customize my look from just one consultation and several pictures sent over email over the months leading up to the wedding. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Sharon at a wedding earlier this year and so when it came time to find my own makeup artist for our wedding, she was the first person I called! I was beyond happy with her! She is so sweet and easy to talk to! She knows her makeup and made me feel like a queen on my wedding day!!! I didn't want to wash it off!! :-(

I only had my make-up done professionally once before my wedding day, at my sister's wedding in Santa Barbabra, CA. Her make-up artist worked on TV and movie stars, but she made me up in a way that I didn't look like me...Not with Sharon! Sharon made me look awesome without making me look like someone else! I love looking at my wedding pictures--and I have never liked looking at myself in pictures! Sharon listened to my suggestions about what I wanted and accommodated several requests from me and my wedding party on the day of the wedding. -

Sharon was such a blessing on my wedding day. From our initial consultation, I knew that I would be in good hands on my wedding day. I have a pretty big birthmark on my neck and back that Sharon expertly covered, with no transfer! My small bridal party all had their makeup applied by Sharon and she made us all feel and look like stars! She is so sweet and felt like she was a part of the family by the time we headed to the church. She is a truly talented artist. -

Sharon and her team were so great! I first received a consultation from Tracie a couple of weeks prior to my wedding and really liked how she completed my makeup. I did not want to look overdone and she made me look natural but a better version of myself! For my wedding day, Tracie and her assistant Sybil both came to hotel where I was staying with bridesmaids and family. Both Tracie and Sybil were amazing, sweet am professional! They kept me calm on that day and completed about 9 ladies. Each lady looked fabulous and everyone was very happy how their makeup had turned out! We really enjoyed using Sharon and her team's services and would highly recommend to any bride or anyone looking to get makeup done for an event. -

Sharon did an amazing job on my make-up. She can truly handle any type of make-up whether it be a more soft look to a more exotic look. She did a wonderful job with my dramatic Pakistani style make-up. The eyes were outstanding. My wedding dress color changed between the trial and wedding day and she handled the change without any problems. She went above and beyond and even helped put on my head scarf. I used Sharon for makeup for myself and bridesmaids for my wedding. I met Sharon a few months before our wedding as a had a trial with her. She is so friendly and easy to get along with. It was very important for me to have natural looking makeup where I did not look overdone- Sharon did not disappoint. At the trial there were a few things I wanted to change and Sharon did so perfectly. The day before our wedding Sharon had an unexpected emergency and needed to alter our plan for the day. She was there early to set up, but brought an assistant to do the makeup of my bridesmaids. Her assistant was awesome! Friendly, talented, and obviously willing to help. Sharon was able to do my makeup before she had to go, and she did a fantastic job, even better than I could have imagined. She was calm, friendly, and did not make me feel rushed (despite the fact she had to get on the road). Her prices were very reasonable and competitive with other make up artists. It was absolutely wonderful to work with Sharon and I would not hesitate to recommend her or use her services again! -

There are not enough kind words to describe Sharon. I first worked with her a few years ago and after meeting with her I knew that one day when I get married I have no doubt I want her to do my makeup. After getting engaged and picking a wedding date, Sharon was the only person I contacted and wanted to do my makeup. She was so flexible with me and did both my wedding and reception make up. She did exactly what I wanted and was so prompt on my wedding day. Through all the craziness and stress I was feeling Sharon make it go away. She is so sweet and genuine that her calming personality put an ease on my wedding day. The makeup was absolutely perfect and I had so many compliments throughout the day and evening. I wanted my makeup to look natural for the wedding and a little heavier for the reception and that is exactly what she did. I found S. Davis Makeup Artistry, LLC while searching the Internet for a makeup artist in the Raleigh - Durham area. I live in Chicago. I was blown away by the fantastic job Sharon did for my cousin's wedding. We hired her to do the makeup for the bridal party. Sharon has such a beautiful spirit and she was truly a pleasure to work with. She was professional, on time and everyone's make up looked great. Sharon provided great make up suggestions for the bridal party in light of the various colors and outfits the bridal party planned to wear --this was an African wedding with bright colors and a few clothing changes. I cannot speak more highly of Sharon Davis and her team. They made my wedding a DREAM! Sharon is PHENOMENAL to work with! She rearranged her entire schedule and brought on two assistants to do my make-up and that of my bridal party.
I was able to do an initial consultation in addition to my bridal portraits with Sharon so by the time my wedding day came we were so comfortable with one another, and she knocked it out of the park, I couldn't believe how good I looked; I looked like another person!

Sharon has a very special gift. She is an amazing make-up artist. My Mom and I just fell in love with Sharon. I hired Sharon to do my make-up for my bridal portrait shoot and my wedding day. She also did my mother’s make-up and brought an assistant to do make-up for my mother-in-law and bridesmaids. I was looking for a make-up artist who was very personable and who could provide me with a very natural look on my big day. I’ve had my make-up professionally done before but Sharon is the first artist I’ve had who found the right balance of applying just enough make-up for me to look gorgeous in my photos but also making sure I still looked like myself. It was very important to me for my husband to recognize me when I walked down the aisle. He even complimented how great my make-up looked on my wedding day.
Sharon is also very professional, on time, and listens to her clients. I honestly felt like I knew Sharon for years. She is dedicated to making sure her brides look best at all times on their wedding day. I was so impressed when I walked out of the Duke Chapel and Sharon was right there to touch-up my make-up. She wanted to touch me up before I took photos after the wedding. I didn’t even request this. Sharon just wanted to be there for me and that meant a lot. She also made time in her schedule to touch-up my make-up prior to me entering my wedding reception.
I highly recommend Sharon for professional make-up services. She is a pleasure to work with and you will not be disappointed. My only wish is she lived in Maryland so I could use her services even more. When I return to North Carolina for future events, she will be my make-up artist of choice. -Tonya -

This was the first time I had someone professional do my makeup and it was fabulous! I felt like a celebrity! Sharon is very talented and I would recommend her to anyone. My guests were in awe as I walked down the aisle. She definitely completed the look for me. If there were more stars to give I would! The airbrushing is great. It does not feel heavy on your face. Our wedding was outside and I was a little worried because of the heat but my makeup did not budge. I must be honest, I fell asleep with it on and when I woke up it was still there lol! I felt like a super model, which is the ONLY way to feel on your wedding day. Throughout my wedding process, Sharon was extremely easy to contact and arrange meetings with. Sharon also airbrushed out a rather large tattoo on my right shoulder, and all my friends and close family members commented on how amazing it looked. My husband was even surprised! S. Davis did an absolutely amazing job for my wedding. My wedding party was extremely happy with the results. After the ceremony the first thing my husband said to me was wow your makeup looks so good, and this is coming from someone who likes when I don’t have makeup on. He could not stop staring at me and the pictures from the photographer are flawless. If you are looking for a make-up artist, you will not be disappointed with S.Davis. -

I had the pleasure of working with Sharon Davis at S. Davis Makeup Artistry, LLC for my May 14, 2011 wedding. I was very pleased with her service. It's rare to give a vendor ALL 5's, but Sharon certainly received them! Her work was OUTSTANDING! She was great to work with.. wonderful personality, very flexible, and her makeup services were supreme! All of the bridesmaids walked down the aisle feeling like goddesses.. I would definitely check with Sharon before any other makeup vendors for your big day! -

I was not big on makeup until I experienced S.Davis. Sharon is the best in the business! Not only did she create the natural but flawless look I wanted for my wedding she also made my bridemaids beautiful as well. We felt so beautiful we could not stay out of the mirrors! Ms. Davis was incredible! The trial makeup was beautiful. I made comments to her about little things that I wanted to change in person. Later after looking at pictures I sent a few more observations by email. Ms. Davis carefully noted all my comments and created an amazing wedding day look for me. While my makeup was being done, my mother said, "She's not even done yet and you look beautiful!" I got so many comments about how stunning I looked during my wedding.
Ms. Davis is extremely professional. She arrived early and set up her equipment quickly. She just as quickly removed her equipment and cleaned up after my appointment was done. She is very personable and fun to work with. I was especially impressed by her website's portfolio display of women of all colors. Finding a makeup artist who can create looks for people of various ethnic backgrounds is very important to me. It was so nice to look and say, "Hey she has worked on someone who looks just like me!"
I would recommend Ms. Davis to anyone who wants a professional, affordable, personable, and extremely talented makeup artist! You will not be disappointed! -

Sharon did an excellent job on my makeup for my wedding. I booked her almost 7 months before my wedding, and her communication up until the date of the wedding was wonderful. Anytime I emailed her, I received an almost immediate response. On the day of the wedding, Sharon was so polite and had a great attitude, which really made her a pleasure to work with. She's trustworthy and flexible. Not to mention, she made my makeup look great!! I wish I could've had her by my side all day. She gave me a natural glow with a bit of glam...I loved it! -

I must say "I TRULY ENJOYED WORKING WITH SHARON"!!! She is so professional yet so friendly, I felt like she was a friend of mine who I had just asked to do my makeup for my wedding. Sharon has a great personality which makes it a pleasure to be around her.
Her skills are AMAZING!!! She knows what she is doing when it comes to that airbrush gun and just overall applying makeup. She did my makeup for my engagement pictures, my rehearsal dinner and of course for my wedding (with touch-ups after) and I never felt like I had on a ton of makeup, I felt FLAWLESS!!!
I really appreciated all that she did for me. I only had a week at home over the Christmas Holidays (from Europe) and trying to work with the photographers schedule, Sharon's schedule plus ours to get our engagement pictures taken. Sharon was willing to figure out a way to make this happen. She was willing to adjust her schedule and get my makeup done for this special day and I really do THANK HER for that!
Sharon is GREAT at her job and her contact info will remain in my phone as a friend as well as for anytime I have somewhere special to go as my "GO TO BEAUTIFIER"!!! Trust me you will be so happy you booked with her, you will love her! -

I absolutely enjoyed working with Sharon, she was extremely professional and her work is magnificent. She was on time for every appointment and I was completely satisfied with my make-up each and every time. I received many compliments on the day of my wedding and my make-up is flawless in all of my photos, even hours after the wedding ceremony. The touch up kit she provided was extremely useful and I still use the products well after the day they were given to me. She is truly a miracle worker and you will feel transformed on your special day. She is incredibly calm and knowledgeable. She can take even the most indecisive person (me!), delve into what they may what, and give them exactly what they imagined. She is very efficient, professional, and talented. She responded quickly to any e-mails or phone calls and was incredibly flexible with my tight timeline and poor scheduling.
I will certain use her again for ANY of my make up needs. She is genuinely a kind person who brings her joy to your occasion. -

I loved it!! I am still getting compliments on my make up. Sharon was early and set-up at the requested time, very professional, pleasant and easy to work with, well equipped with many products for everyone's skin tone (of which there were several) in my bridal party, and executed my make-up perfectly. Sharon also was able to cater to the wishes of the vast array of ages within my bridal party which spanned ages 19 through 69. I has pleased from start to finish and could not recommend her enough! -

I love Sharon Davis!! She does amazing work and she's great to work with! I was so nervous about my hair and makeup up until the day of the wedding. Every single one of my bridesmaids loved their makeup! We all enjoyed her company! She went above and beyond to fix issues that arose that day. She even stayed to touch up my makeup after the ceremony. My hair stylist left without finishing my hair and Sharon stepped in to fix my hair. She is unbelievably patient and understanding and puts her customers needs first! I've never experienced such excellent service and it would be a great honor to refer to anyone! -
