    We chose Rustic Star photophraphy to shoot our wedding this last September and couldn't have been any happier with our choice! From the very beginning Anita was quick to respond, flexible with our plans and so much fun to work with! If you are looking for an experienced photographer who is full of energy and passionate in what she does, you've found her! - My biggest advice for engaged couples is to pay a little more for the photography( you truly get what you pay for) after the wedding is all said and done, the pictures and memories will be the only thing you get to keep from that special day!

    Anita was so fun and creative. We didn't have lot of time to prepare and she was so flexible and has so many fabulous ideas that we would have thought of. The quality of our pictures are amazing. rustic Star is fabulous andI will recommend them to everyone I know.

    I am so in love with my wedding photos from Rustic Star Photography! They really captured the feel of the day and immortalized so many beautiful moments and details that we were too swept up to linger on and fully appreciate at the time. The candid shots are so rich and romantic and the group shots of the wedding party are so fun and creative without feeling at all contrived. They also did a photo booth for us where they perfectly captured the essence of each and every one of crazy wonderful guests. They had fantastic ideas for poses and pictures and were also wide open for anything we suggested. I have ONE HUGE REGRET: and that's that we didn't use their videography services!!! Don't make that mistake too!!! Take it from me, you WILL want a video of your service and your vows! We have wonderful beautiful photographs but I'd give anything to hear the vows! I would recommend Rustic Star to anybody for any occasion. They know exactly how to make you look and feel like your most beautiful genuine self and bring everyone together to create and commemorate some of the most important moments in life. Can't wait for our next big event!

    Anita is a talented, unique photographer. Her work has a special touch that I haven't found with any other! She is fun, spontaneous, and knows how to really capture beautiful memories to last a lifetime! I would recommend Rustic Star Photography if you are seeking professionalism and quality portraits!

    I love Anita with rustic star! Our engagement photos and wedding photos are amazing! She took extra time to make sure we had everything planned perfect before the wedding day. Everything was breeze the day of the weeding thanks to her and her team. I loved our Photo Booth, it is a MUST have at any wedding and the video she made for us, is beautiful!! :)

    We absoultley LOVED working with Anita! My husband and I live in San Diego so my parents originally met her first. They of course loved her from the beginning! We had talked on the phone several time before finally meeting. She was was so helpful, fun and energetic! She made you feel right at home and comfortable; which is important when taking pictures. She is so creative and I still love seeing all of her work. She was very patient with my husbands rowdy friends and seemed to have fun and fit right in. After your wedding is said and done you have memories and your pictures that last a life time. She captured everything perfectly andt was such a joy to work with! We highly recommend rustic star!

    I cannot say enough good things about Anita and Rustic Star Photography. She is the most talented, artistic, enthusiastic and fun photographer around! I enjoyed everything from our consultation and planning of the pictures, to her being at my wedding capturing our moments and then her sitting down with us showing us all the amazing pictures she took of our special day. There isn't a moment she didn't capture! I recommend her to all my friends. Thanks again Anita for being so AMAZING!

    Rustic Star did an absolutely wonderful job at our wedding. Anita helped us coordinate the whole day and our pictures turned out exquisite! Her knowledge of photography and fun hearted nature made everyone comfortable and eager to take pictures. She was able to get a wonderful picture of a special moment between my grandmother and I during the wedding that I cherish as a few months later my grandmother's dementia took over. She worked with us and gave us different options to fit our budget. I was so thankful to have such an awesome photographer because the day went by so fast that it is great to have gorgeous pictures to look back at and remember our special day!

    Anita is an amazing person as well as photographer!! My wedding was one of her first, and she totally rocked it! She did our engagement pictures and then did our son's newborn pictures almost 2 years ago!! She has great style and creativity

    Anita and Lindsey at Rustic Star photography were amazing beyond words! They showed up, never seeing the venue before, and immediately laid out a plan. My hair and makeup were running late, so they took the initiative to start getting detail shots, and then we all reconvened once I was done. It was 19 degrees out, but they braved the cold and got the most amazing outdoor photos. She knew just how to position us, and just the right ques so she got the most photos in the least amount of time since it was FREEZING. She was so flexible with her schedule and so upbeat and positive. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her!

    My husband and I chose Anita for our wedding because a coworker of mine had used her for his wedding and his pictures were amazing. I checked out her site and called her and emailed her multiple times and always got a super fast response. She was super easy to work with and helped me figure out what kind of pictures I wanted and our time frame, and our budget. She was very helpful. During our wedding her and her assistant took pictures throughout the day and we even had a photo booth as well. Everything was perfect. She said we would get the pictures back pretty soon within a month or so, it ended up being around 3 months later which is still pretty fast for wedding photography. We got a thumb drive with all the pictures and I was able to make a beautiful wedding book that I am so proud to show off all our wonderful photos and moments because of Anita.

    I can't say enough about Anita, and what she has meant to me and my family. Rustic Star was on my radar long before we needed her. Friends had used her, and her pictures spoke to me. Not only does Anita's style stand out, but the quality of her work, along with the professionalism and commitment to each of her projects puts her in the same arena with some of the best. I have worked with other professional photographers, but Anita is the one that I will always go back to again and again. I have worked with Anita on several occasions so I have seen first hand how she can put everyone at ease, nervous couples as well as babies and small children alike. She turned out to be the great friend that I hadn't met yet.

    Rustic Star did an amazing job with our wedding photos! I wanted a rustic themed wedding (it was held in a lodge), and Anita captured all of our little rustic pieces/touches we made for our wedding. I love love love our wedding photos, and have had so many compliments!!!!

    I chose to work with Anita at Rustic Star because I had a number of friends and co-workers who had used her for their weddings, family photos, newborn photos etc . She seemed to have a fantastic way of capturing the spontaneous moments when people were exposing unfiltered emotion - and the pictures were beautiful. She also seemed to be most inclined toward the slightly country, rustic-charm style, which was perfect for my wedding. We went with Rustic Star for engagement photos, a boudoir portfolio I made for my husband as a wedding night gift, as well as the actual wedding day photos....she even coordinated my make-up artist for me! The cost was really reasonable considering the amount of time taken in each session and the number of photos we received. I have a ton of beautiful photos I am really proud to have on my walls at home. Anita has a unique personality with a ton of energy and huge smile. She makes people feel at ease during what can be a really stressful time. Given the chance in the future, I would totally choose to work with her again.

    I just LOVED the photos that Anita created for us. They are so unique and so US! Our photos took quite a while to be created, but they were so worth the wait. Thank you thank you for perfectly capturing our day!

    Rustic Star does take beautiful pictures, but our experience and end result were somewhat disappointing. While we did get some gorgeous photos that we cherish, many requested shots were not taken, and our photo "must have" list was never even opened (the Google doc I sent had been last opened by me :( Unfortunately there are no getting ready shots with either the guys/girls/parents,an important part of the day that we didn't realized would be missed, and quite a few others that we very much wanted of specific details. We felt like we were often given the shaft compared to other couples. With so much money at stake, it is unexceptable to not capture certain moments/details that only happen once, and that are requested, especially with 2-3 photographers on hand. The lack of responsiveness throughout planning (our engagement session was done 3 months later then requested do to lack of response) and important details of the day missing, we find it hard to recommend.
