    We had the wedding of our dreams because of Rachael!

    Working with Rachael as our month-of wedding coordinator was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding. Planning a wedding can be so stressful--there are so man decisions to make, tons of vendors to wrangle, and tons of logistics to go over. Even before month-of coordination kicked off, Rachael made the planning process as easy as possible by providing resources, guidance, and connections.

    During month of, I can't imagine going through the process without her-Her expertise, organizational skills, industry knowledge, and calming presence are amazing.

    The end result was that we had the wedding of our dreams, and were actually able to be present and enjoy it--On the day of our wedding, my husband and I spent our time connecting with our guests, eating delicious food, dancing, and connecting with each other, without having to worry about anything else (besides getting dressed!) because we knew Rachael was taking care of everything.

    We'd work Rachael again in a heartbeat, and you should work with her too!

    Best decision we made!

    Planning a wedding can be stressful. Planning a wedding in six months? Even more so. Enter Rachael Silard and her company Ruby + Rose. The thing I remember most clearly upon entering Rachael's office on Union St. was a sense of calm (the Sofia Rosé she offered us didn't hurt either). Little did I know at the time just how indispensable Rachael would come to be.

    My wife dragged/took me to a lot of weddings in the years leading up to our nuptials and I came to the realization that no matter the size or cost of the wedding, the devil was in the details. From the flowers, to the food, to the invitations, to the seating arrangements... she was with us every step of the way.

    I've come to understand that a wedding is much like a symphony and without a conductor it can easily go off the rails. Ruby + Rose made sure everything ran smoothly, even on an accelerated timeline, in the months that led up to the wedding. There’s always going to be a minimum of one or two mishaps during the planning of a wedding but I can honestly say that with Rachael conducting we were never at a loss for what to do.

    On the big day we were so at ease that we both were actually able to relax and concentrate on what mattered. And what more could a couple tying the knot ask for?

    Everything you're looking for

    We love Rachael! She was the month-of-coordinator for our SF wedding, and was instrumental in making the day absolutely perfect. She is super organized and thorough, to the point that she was able to catch mistakes from some of our other vendors. She has a great relationship with so many different people in the industry, and her experience working with so many venues, including ours, meant she was always thinking 5 steps ahead. We actually ended up adding some ad-hoc design consultation to our contract because of her great eye.

    She also has a great communication style, and took every measure to make sure my mother, who was heavily involved in the wedding, felt included. I'm sure the family dynamic is challenging to navigate, but it always felt really natural with Rachael.

    On the day of the wedding, she handled everything with grace and speed. If there were any issues, we didn't know about them because of how professional she and her team were. She kept us and our families calm and happy the whole night.

    Hiring Rachael and her team for month of and day of coordination was worth every penny! Rachael is everything you want and need from a coordinator - she's organized, thoughtful, quick to respond, knowledgeable, patient, and has a great eye for pulling the last minute details together beautifully. From our first meeting all the way until we said goodbye at the end of the night, it was evident that she sincerely wanted us to have the best day of our lives. Her confidence in the small details put both of our minds at ease, and the day went beautifully smoothly because of her efforts. We give her our highest recommendation!

    Rachael and her team are professional, responsible, knowledgeable, considerate, detail-oriented and fun to work with! As the mother of the bride, I knew there were a lot of details to tackle, but couldn't even imagined some of the details that Rachael pointed out and took care of. She really was amazing - all while making things relaxed and fun. Her skills were invaluable. She went beyond the call of duty in finding the perfect flowers, place settings, tables and other accessories. The large wedding weekend (wedding was nearly 180) went off without a hitch. Rachael handled volumes of details behind the scenes for several months. The venue was large and spread out but she had a finger on the pulse and her headset in constant communication with her team. The timing of the events were flawless. Rachael is an excellent communicator and has a talent for solving dilemmas and making all parties happy that are involved in the decision making. My daughter and her husband's wedding was a special day for the whole family and one we will always cherish. We are very thankful to Rachael and "Ruby & Rose" for their role in making it a "perfect day".

    Hiring Rachael for full planning was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. What initially caught our eye about Rachel was her beautiful aesthetic but it was her professionalism, organization, punctuality, and friendly demeanor that sold us on working with her.

    We chose the full planning package because my husband and I are very busy and we were overwhelmed with all of the choices we had to make - we needed someone to guide us through the process. Rachel's ability to break up the planning into manageable chunks stopped us from feeling overwhelmed or stressed, which in itself made working with her worth every penny.

    Our wedding day was a dream. Rachael not only turned our vision into reality but also made the day run incredibly smoothly. Our guests were blown away by the attention to detail and we heard so many people say it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Whenever anyone asks what my number one tip is in planning a wedding, my answer is always "Hire Rachael!"

    Hiring Ruby & Rose for our month-of coordination was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! By the time we started working together, we had hired pretty much all of our wedding vendors, but Rachael was so clutch in wrangling all of the vendors to make sure they were all on the same page for the wedding. Rachael was so incredibly organized; she was quick to respond to all emails, created a timeline for the day down to the minute, and guided all of our important wedding decisions with the help of her handy Google documents. During our venue walk-through, Rachael showed her experience and knowledge when she brought up ideas, concerns, and questions that we never would have considered.

    On the wedding day itself, Rachael monitored all of the vendors closely to make sure every detail was perfect. She was such a calming presence and made sure to connect with key contacts in our wedding party so that we didn’t have any stress and we could truly enjoy our day. She answered questions from our parents and guests, kept us on track with the timeline for the day, and easily dealt with any unexpected issues that came up. She was even sweet enough to sneak me a dirty martini since she knew I wasn’t going to get a moment to steal away to the bar myself.

    Rachael was such an incredible pleasure to work with. My husband and I would both highly recommend hiring Ruby & Rose for your wedding day!

    Highest recommendation for Rachael from Ruby & Rose

    Collaborating with Rachael as our month-of-coordinator and creative planner was THE best decision my husband and I could have made for our big day. From our first meeting to the day of the wedding, Rachael's professionalism, organizational skills, and keen-eye for creative ideas helped bring our dream wedding to life. Me and my husband had most of our major vendors picked out by the time we started working together, but in the end she seamlessly brought all of the vendors and planning together keeping us stress-free throughout the whole process. We did not have to lift a finger on the day of the wedding thanks to her. We held our 145 person wedding at Barndiva Restaurant in Healdsburg and she was able to keep all vendors and guests aligned down to the minute of the wedding day schedule. This was VERY crucial to me and my husband as half of our bridal party and immediate family got stuck in the hotel elevator for an hour before the ceremony. Even after the fact, Rachael was still able to effortlessly manage enough time for the first look, bridal party, and family photos. The ceremony even started on time after-all! I cannot stress how wonderful Rachael was to work with as she is patient, kind, and truly a master of her craft who always goes above and beyond. You would be in very good hands working with her. Thank you Rachael for everything!!!

    Rachael was our month-of and day-of coordinator and provided exceptional support & execution from the first day I reached out to her. We planned our San Francisco wedding remotely from Europe & another state with only a few trips to the city ibefore the wedding and were able to rely on Rachael for a lot of great on-the-ground details. For example, she guided us on vendors she had worked with well before, which also made the day-of run smoothly where she knew most of our vendors. She answered questions promptly & effectively throughout our planning process. Most of all, we appreciated that she was very detail-oriented to make sure everything was in order going into the day. In the last month, her steady hand proved invaluable to help us handle last minute decisions and details that came up. Rachael's coordination of vendors & timeline allowed for flexibility & changes where we wanted or needed to allow for a great experience on the day - we were able to enjoy our wedding day fully knowing Rachael had the entire wedding team under control. She truly went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was everything we had hoped and that we could truly be present.     We just recently got married in October 2017 at Holman Ranch in Carmel Valley. Rachael did our partial planning + design, and truly went above and beyond to make the day perfect.
    About 8 months in to planning our wedding, I realized that even though I had a lot of amazing vendors locked down and quite a lot completed on list of things to do, I really needed help with the actual event execution because I did not want to be under too much stress leading up to the wedding, I didn't want any stress the wedding weekend, and most importantly, I did not want ANY stress on the wedding day. This is why and how I found Rachael.
    Rachael was recommended to me through a few reliable sources, and across the board they raved about how organized, calm, well-connected, and put together she is. This was exactly the experience that we had with her, and I am so happy we were able to work with her.
    Throughout our entire 5-6 months of working together, Rachael was incredibly organized, held us accountable to decisions we needed to make and held us to timelines we needed to hit (we needed those reminders haha!!!), offered us sound advice, had incredible vendor recommendations, beautiful taste, worked within our budget, helped plan a wedding with non-traditional elements, was flexible when we brought up somewhat out-of-the-ordinary party ideas, was always available to answer quick questions, and most importantly, took complete control the day of so we could enjoy our wedding without any worries.
    I can honestly say that I spent the entire wedding weekend without any worries or stress, and I was able to relax and enjoy the BEAUTIFUL wedding day that Rachael helped plan and execute. Thank you!

    I hired Rachael as a month of coordinator for my wedding in September and I don’t know what I would have done without her! I originally had started wedding planning on my own after my engagement but soon realized I needed to hire someone to take care of all the extra details leading up to/day of the wedding that I wouldn’t be able to handle myself.
    Rachael has impeccable attention to detail and when she discovered that the florist I hired (and set up contract with before I hired her) to build a floral arch for the ceremony wasn’t providing the arch (!) she didn’t skip a beat. She already had a backup plan ready to go and found a great arch we could rent last minute. And this was 4 days before the wedding! Thank goodness I had Rachel checking on all those little details! It was so nice to have such a helpful coordinator like Rachel helping me during the most stressful months leading up to the wedding. She’s composed, organized, and was always available to answer all my random wedding questions. I highly recommend her to any bride who wants to be able to find some time to relax while going through the chaos of wedding planning.

    My husband and I were planning a surprise wedding and Rachael was our savior! The wedding was a surprise not only to our friends, but our families as well, so there were several details to coordinate on our own--in secrecy! Hello, stress!

    Enter Rachael, who was our month-of coordinator. We worked with Rachael for 2-3 months in total because we had a very brief engagement, but she took great care of us from the day we first reached out. She is superbly organized and detail-oriented, which is something we desperately needed because our wedding was pretty unconventional. There are so many details we could've missed, but Rachael covered them all. Not only that, but our vendors raved about how proactive and communicative she was the entire time.

    We couldn't be more grateful and we really could not have pulled off our wedding without her. She listened to all of our ideas and offered helpful tips and suggestions so that we could have the perfect day. By the time the big day came, we didn't have to do a single thing except show up, get hitched, and have an amazing time. If I could, I would re-live the day over and over again, but instead I will give her as glowing of a review and as high of a recommendation as is possible so that other couples have a chance to work with her and have the most perfect wedding ever.     Rachael was absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and it absolutely couldn't had happened without Rachael's help--she was completely instrumental in making it a success. From the start, she had extremely great communication skills, and guided us through the many questions and things to consider for a wedding. I felt so comfortable on my day knowing all the details (small and large) were in Rachael's hands--and everything went perfectly! A true professional, Rachel has a real passion for making wedding dreams come to life. She also has excellent taste and is so knowledgeable about etiquette, traditions, and all the best practices of weddings. She's the real deal! I could not give a more glowing recommendation.

    Rachael is incredible! I cannot say enough great things about her, and the overall experience we had with Ruby & Rose. My husband and I got married in the Bay Area last May 2017. We knew we wanted to plan much of it ourselves, and we decided to work with Rachael for day-of planning. She provided us with SO much beyond that. I had a good feeling in our initial meeting. She is an ultimate professional, while warm and friendly. She put our minds at ease about various questions/problems and was responsive well before the wedding. The weekend of ran smoothly, thanks to Rachael and her team. She kept our family, friends and guests organized and made sure we had some quiet time (and food).     My husband and I connected with Rachael about a year before our wedding to provide Month-of wedding planning services. After a few phone conversations with other wedding planners I was very discouraged and didn't think we would find anyone - then I met Rachael! She had (has) such a friendly, engaging and passionate personality and I knew right away with her guidance our wedding would be perfect.

    Although we hired Rachael specifically for Month-of planning, she was available for questions, recommendations, vendor contract review, etc. during the entire year leading up to our wedding. She was incredibly responsive and helpful. When it came time to transfer all vendor-related responsibility, communication and coordination over to Rachael the transition went incredibly smooth and my stress level decreased significantly! :)

    On our wedding day Rachael took care of everything without direction - which showed that she listened to exactly what we wanted / envisioned - and the day was absolutely beautiful and so much fun! After the wedding Rachael followed up with the venue to settle a few minor AV / lighting issues we had during the reception and made sure we received a credit from the venue for the inconvenience on our final payment ...it's the little things.

    We have continued to stay in contact since the wedding and she even sent recommendations for our honeymoon trip next month. Awesome, awesome, awesome and so thankful for her hard work on our wedding!!

    Ruby & Rose was a godsend when it came to planning our wedding! We hired Rachael for month-of coordination services but she remained incredibly accessible throughout the entire planning process, well beyond her official start, helping with everything from vendor referrals to design decisions.

    For context, we got married at a somewhat remote property in Gualala (Mendocino Country) surrounded by fifty of our closest family and friends. All events took place on the property which was convenient but required quite a bit of set-up and herding of guests. Also, because of the venue/location, there were a number of constraints working against us that Rachael was able to navigate seamlessly (i.e. no commercial kitchen, power requirements, quiet hours, etc).

    Everything went off perfectly! It was our happiest day! And when the reception ended we were pleasantly surprised when Rachael ducked by the after party to let us know that everything had been broken down and returned to our room so we wouldn’t have to worry about it in the morning. She even had enough foresight to tuck away a copy of our dinner menu and our place cards as special keepsakes.

    I wholeheartedly recommend Rachael as a planner and a friend! Her communication skills are impeccable, her attention to detail is on point and her personality is as sweet as they come.

    Rachael was incredible! I have a tendency to overthink things & have a penchant for perfection. Those can be recipes for disaster when planning something as big & personal as your wedding. Fortunately for us, we had hired a complete rockstar who kept decisions moving, details in order & most importantly made sure everyone - even us – had fun!

    While we had initially hired Rachael as our month-of coordinator, she was consistently available for questions and recommendations. With her help, we assembled a super vendor squad!

    After attending a meeting w/ a vendor, Rachael also proved that she really understood our style and the experience we wanted for our guests. We asked her to help navigate design elements & she mobilized quickly, scheduling meetings & coordinating vendors.

    As the wedding approached, I became increasingly overwhelmed as more details & decisions emerged. Rachael eased my anxieties knowing the right questions to ask & simplifying processes. She was responsive and assembled every detail from our vendors, easily working through conflicts and overlooked details. You can find checklists, templates & vendor profiles online but there is no substitute for having someone you trust cut through the clutter and reduce the decisions that you have to make.

    On the wedding day, our bridal party knew exactly where to be and when. Rachael’s timelines were perfect & she checked in throughout the am. The wedding day moved so quickly, but b/c of Rachael, my fiancée & I had nothing to do but enjoy the time with friends & family. While we were having fun & getting married, Rachael spent the day at the venue coordinating almost a dozen vendors & making sure all of our design pieces were executed perfectly. She fielded our last minute requests easily and dealt with a few snafus with grace & genuine calm efficiency. In the end, we had an amazing day and couldn’t have done it w/o her!

    Rachael with Ruby and Rose is an amazing wedding planner! We loved that she was flexible with her services, and helped customize a package that fit our needs and budget which was so helpful. Leading up to the wedding she helped me when I was stuck on certain design ideas and offered some advice that ended up pulling together our wedding vision flawlessly. Then she took over all of our contracts leading up to the wedding and literally organized every detail. She was the reason our day went so smoothly. I've had so many comments of how wonderful the flow of our wedding was. People had an great time and it felt like we just seamlessly moved from one part to the next, all while not lifting a finger! Her team thought of everything. I really appreciate that my bridesmaids, family and I could truly enjoy on that day because all of the details whether big or small were taken care of by Rachael and team. She also has a great mix of listening to your ideas and also giving suggestions based on her industry knowledge. Highly reccomend Ruby and Rose!

    We were fortunate enough to have known Rachael before she ever entered the wedding planning business, so when my fiancée and I got engaged, we knew that there was only one person we wanted to work with as we planned our wedding. Although our venue had a preferred list of vendors, as we went through the checklist that Rachael provided us, we realized that there were many places where we either needed advice or felt overwhelmed by the choices in front of us. The entire time, Rachael helped guide us through these decisions, and simplify the choices down to a few that she knew we would love.

    Looking back on the day of our wedding, however, makes the planning part of our experience with Rachael seem like a breeze. Leading up to our wedding, Rachael had prepared everything for our vendors so that we did not have to lift a single finger on our wedding day. I even remember her counting individual plates and calling the rental company to let them know that we were missing 5 plates! I don't remember talking to a single vendor about logistics on our wedding day because Rachael had taken care of everything. She was even able to keep our 125 guests and 12+ vendors aligned to the minute-by-minute timeline that we had, and managed to sneak off the property without anyone noticing to bring back 150 In-N-Out burgers for our guests for a late night snack :)

    While we've had friends who have decided to plan their own weddings and not hire a planner, working with Rachael was the best decision we made. We did not have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day, and we were able to enjoy every second with our friends and family! We cannot recommend strongly enough hiring Rachael for whatever event you may be planning!

During the entire planning process my husband and I were overseas and she was still able to do more than we asked of her. She had great ideas, answered all my emails and was extremely attentive to all my questions and concerns. She was able to turn my ideas into reality. She was super organized, had every detail covered and helped with the wedding day stress. During the wedding day she was always several steps ahead which allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding. The wedding and party were beyond amazing thanks to Ruby & Rose!

    Rachael is fantastic! Seriously. I really couldn't imagine having worked with anyone else as our coordinator. Rachael is of course professional, super organized, and knows the ins and outs of the wedding industry--all the basics you expect in a coordinator, but a few things really set her apart. One, I completely trusted her sense of style and design. I had total confidence that on the day of the wedding any last minute decisions that had to be made or in supervising the set-up, the end result would be beautiful and account for my tastes. Second, Rachael knew all the right questions to ask me to make sure we had our bases covered, but she did it in a way that didn't make me panic or feel overwhelmed. Third, she quickly adapted to my fairly direct/no-drama approach to planning and really helped to translate that working with the vendors. Everything went so smoothly on the day of the wedding and I know a huge part of that was because of Rachael. The day was so perfect I wish we could go back and the whole thing again!

    Matt and I agreed that one of the smartest decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Rachael. The Ruby & Rose team pulled it all together on our wedding day and Rachael was there from start to finish.

    She was very available and patient whenever I had a concern or question or just needed a second opinion. She is VERY organized. If you are looking for someone whose logistical game is on point look no further. She created spreadsheets and diagrams and lists of action items and kept us on track when we felt overwhelmed.

    She took care of all the execution details and really helped with the communication with all of our vendors. Our wedding was such a fabulous loving party and Rachael made sure that all of the things that were most important to us came through. We definitely couldn't have pulled it off without her and I couldn't have asked for a better day.

    · Great listener: Rachael listened to our goals for our wedding, and helped us realize them. She heard everything we were saying, asked very good questions, and was incredibly thorough in keeping track of everything we told her.

    · Amazing organization: Rachael wrangled us and all of our vendors (from near and far) into a detailed timeline without it feeling at all forced or contrived. In the last six weeks before our wedding, Rachael was in constant communication with our vendors to ensure a smooth wedding day.

    · Calm: On our wedding day, Rachael calmly took the reins. She managed the event with grace, and stayed cool when minor issues arose. All we had to do was enjoy our wedding.

    · Above and beyond: Rachael exceeded our expectations! When we needed a small table for our ceremony, she offered to bring one from her house. Her services are an incredible value.

    We hired Rachael as our day-of-coordinator, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision! We can't say enough about how great it was to work with Rachael -- she was friendly, organized, intuitive and knew exactly what needed to be done! She has great style, and was not only open to, but also helped us with all of our DIY ideas!

    While we opted for "day of" services, Rachael really started working well in advance of our wedding. We knew we were in good hands after our first meeting with her on a Saturday morning when she starting emailing thoughts, ideas and questions that afternoon. The months leading up to our wedding, she knew all the right questions to ask us and our vendors. She took over our wedding details about a month before the wedding -- she coordinated our vendors, created timelines and orchestrated everything that we needed in the days leading up to our big day.

    On the day of our wedding everything was executed absolutely perfectly! Rachael was 100% on the ball -- she managed the timeline, set-up and breakdown of the venue, directed vendors, fielded questions from/herded our guests and much, much more, all with a great attitude and beaming smile! She knew how to prod people without ever being overbearing, she adapted extremely well to unexpected items, and made sure we were kept happy, fed and hydrated. She even slotted a few extra minutes in our timeline for us to spend some alone time after the ceremony to take it all in! Because of Rachael, we were able to breeze through our day and didn't have to worry about a thing! And most importantly, she helped us to achieve our main goal: to have a blast on our wedding day!

    Hiring Rachael was one of the absolute best decisions we made for our wedding, and we 1000% would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

    'Wow, Rachel helped make our wedding everything we could have ever wanted. We can’t imagine a world where our wedding would have went the way it did without her help. I cannot recommend or say enough good things about our work with Rachael. Originally I was beyond overwhelmed at the thought of planning a wedding. We had some thoughts of what we wanted, but no idea how to articulate, let alone put together our vision. To be honest, when I hired Rachael, I wasn’t sure exactly what a wedding planner did, I just knew that everyone recommended I have one. By the end of our first meeting with Rachael, I understood the importance of having a professional to help you navigate all the details and surprises that come with holding this type of event. Although I could find budget templates, local vendor supplies, week of and day of checklists online, they are no substitute for having someone else simplify the whole process so that I could focus on the details I found most important, and enjoy the time leading up to the wedding. One tip I highly recommend when working with Rachael, trust her design aesthetic! She has an amazing eye for the small details and ways we could make wedding personal and unique. When the final day arrived, I couldn’t believe how it all had just flowed with such ease.'
